All I can say is that I am really glad we selected AZ Sun Services to be our Solar system provider and contractor.  Buying our system was made a very enjoyable experience due to the efforts of John Campbell from AZ Sun Services.

John went above and beyond in order to provide us with answers to our questions, provide a customized solar system meeting our cost needs, and then tweaking that system until we finally were totally comfortable with what we were signing up for.  I cannot say enough about how professional and accommodating John was.

There was never any high pressure sales tactics used and there was never a moment in which we felt that the integrity of AZ Sun Services was questionable.  Totally reliable, sincere, accommodating and reasonable.  A real pleasure doing business with these fine folks.

I can tell you that we had other Solar companies come to our house and twice I actually ran the salesman off due to their sales tactics and unprofessional manor.  If you ever want to get solar don't bother with others, go straight to AZ Sun Services.

Once our system is installed and in full operation I will update this review to report on how well the planned system performs based upon the original projections for both power production and in cost reductions on our APS bills.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!! We got scammed into a solar system in FL and it was given over to these YAHOO IDIOTS that have NO CARE in the world for their customers! Our solar unit didnt work for MONTHS from day one and they sent bill after bill. 6 months later, still no solar production and they sent threatening emails, texts and calls saying to PAY YOUR BILL! When asked from day 1 to come out and fix, they stated they would - did not get fixed for months! I told them I would not pay until fixed OR they could reimburse me for the months without production. THEY REFUSED AND EVEN LAUGHED AT ME!!! They have control once you sign the paperwork and they scam you into signing (there is small fine print and you better read it or you are fucked). This company should be brought down and dismantled altogether. You think you will beat me on this one Sun Services but I promise you will not. Sit back and watch. You guys suck BIG TIME !

PS - DO NOT BUY FROM PATRICK ASCHMANN in Arizona OR Florida under Zuma Energy OR Byosolar. He was the initial scam artist that lied about all of it and gets you locked in. AVOID SOLAR ALTOGETHER!

Scam. Installed a system at my residence and stated it would easily cover winter electricity, while it doesn't come close. I had roofers out who said I needed a new roof before installing solar. Sun Services sent their own roofers out and told me it would be fine and they'd give me a credit at installation if we moved forward. I failed to get that in writing and received no credit. Solar is a scam. Especially with this company.

After taking a 2 hour adult education class on solar I learned a lot and decided we should get solar for our home. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), there are an estimated 306 solar companies that service Arizona. I searched  for companies with over four star reviews and an A+ rating. For accountability I wanted to purchase from a company that not only sold solar but also installed solar with their own employees. I determined that I would only accept the top two solar panels and the top two solar inverters. I narrowed the field and reached out to four companies that met all the criteria. In November and December we met with representatives from four solar companies. I was advised that from the time a contract was signed until the solar installation was approved by the city inspector and approved and activated by APS was typically about 3 months. We decided we did not want to lease a system and ultimately decided to pay cash.(There are, however, good options to take a loan to pay for solar).
The last of four company representatives that we met with was Matt Nam with Sun Services and he convinced us to contract with Sun Services for our home solar installation.
Our solar system went live without a glitch on March 31. In the past 3 months if I had a question or concern I would text or email Sun Services Project Management team led by Senior Project Manager Alonda Dimas. I always received an immediate response.

· They represent top solar and inverter companies.
· They install with their own employees not a subcontracted installer.
· Their project management team is responsive and anxious to provide excellent customer service.
· The pricing is very competitive.

After recent chat with Sasha, who helped me out to fix all the major issues.
Also provided with step by step instructions as well as guided on the call to rectify the issues on hand.
Sasha also provided some insights on how to manage the solar system, she also promised that it should have not come to this, and will take care in future for customer service.

I am updating my review, Caleb made things right, he put a lot of effort into it as a matter of fact. The sub contractors I definitely would not recommend, some of the folks on the project management side could work on communication a little bit, BUT the major underlying issues have been resolved and that is huge to me! I would recommend Caleb, and definitely his install crew who were among the most professional guys I have dealt with, they truly were the best crew!!! Definitely give AZ sun a shot at providing solar for you!!

I had a Solar System installed on my home in Prescott Az. We had 21 panels installed and couldn't be happier. Team 3 did a great job with the installation. The Az Sun Services staff was very informative and kept me up to date as things changed and progressed. From the start we were happy with the services that were provided. I'd like to add that if you need a roof, they can help you with that as well.

Excellent! AZ SUN SERVICES My experience with AZ Sun Services from start to finish was exactly what I'd hoped for.  Before even meeting with the providers in my area I spent weeks researching and learning about solar power, solar panels, installation, and cost.  I wanted to be sure I already understood what I needed and didn't need and what I was and was not going to agree to.  All I needed was to speak with a solar professional to make sure I knew what I was going to do would be mostly right.  I then decided that I would not agree to anything until I'd met with at least 5 providers.  3 of the 5 reps I met with really turned on me when I told them I was not even going to consider their offers until I'd heard from 5 providers.  The 3rd provider I met with was Matt Nam, my AZ Sun Services sales rep. He was not pushy or overly aggressive.  We had a short and simple conversation about my options, the cost, and what he recommended.  I also met with 4 other providers and from the greeting to the moment they left I felt like they were just trying to force me into the sale.  They "argued" every doubt/question I brought up or "tried" to make me feel stupid for asking what I'd asked or doubting what they'd promised.  Before we even discussed what could or could not be done, they'd ask if I met with anyone else.  Then they'd spend the next 15 mins bashing every other provider that I'd mentioned.  Matt did not spend most of his time bashing other services.  They also made sure to imply that I'd lose any offer they made if they left without making me sign something.  I recommend AZ Sun Services strictly based on my sales experience, the "actual" performance of my hardware, and the service and communication provided after the sale.  I get replies within 24 hrs of every inquiry.  I've had only one issue, that DID NOT impact my service, which was handled by a tech visit to my home within 3 days of my call.  I've had ZERO downtime and have earned an avg of 168$ in credit per month since my panels were switched on.  I asked Matt, what 3 things are most unique about AZ Sun Services?  1) We (AZ Sun Services) are a direct installer so not only do we install for other solar companies (and of course our own solar), but you get the best price possible since we offer installer pricing. **My system cost was less than the other 4 providers I met with, but that was not why I chose AZ Sun Services.**  2) We're a local Arizona company which means we focus solely on the state of Arizona.  3) We offer the lowest interest rates available in the solar industry.**Best rate or the 5 providers I met with**  If that individual ends up going solar with us, you'll also receive a $750 check from us as a thank you.**I did get the full 750$ check the week after my install.  This was the offer for me at the time of my sale so I don't know if it has continued**  I recommend Matt Nam @AZ Sun Services  Install date APR2021 Photos from APS BILL MAY2021-SEP2021 Energy from APS vs Energy to APS data

Matt Nam was great he was very informative and never pushy.  The process was super fast  from the application to the install.  Definitely would recommend Az Sun Service.

This company was a subcontractor for Elevation Solar.  No replacement tiles were brought by them at the start of the install.  In the three days (spread out) it took the crew to install my solar system, approximately 80 tiles were broken and they took tiles from a supply I had to replace the ones they broke.  After the job was "completed", my roofer inspected the roof.  He found multiple broken tiles and many others out of place.  Elevation Solar had a subcontractor rep come out to fix the tiles.  The rep (David) brought 17 tiles with him and spent 3.5 hours replacing another 20 broken tiles and realigned numerous other tiles to correct the mistakes his coworkers left behind.  The crew was never the same each day.  No members of the crew followed OSHA safety guidelines on personal fall arrest systems as they did not use anchors or harnesses.  I advised Elevation Solar I wanted the 80 tiles the subcontractor used from my supply replaced or to reimburse me for their cost.  Approximately 80 tiles were dropped off by the subcontractor.

If one goes solar, I suggest you have your installer have a supply of replacement tiles handy at the start of your install.

I signed up for solar in September and AZ Sun was the company contracted for the installation. To date, I still have not had my solar installed all the while neighbors are getting their installed with their competitor Titan. It does take some time for HOA and the city to approve the project, but APS has denied the project twice!! I contacted APS, they just have two concerns that need corrected. AZ Sun sent updated documentation to APS, but no go. Here we are the beginning of the new year, I bet I won't get the same federal tax credit due to the incompetency of AZ Sun. I do get some communication, but lacking of details. I am extremely dissatisfied with AZ Sun, think twice before signing up when this company is the installer.

My wife and I recently selected AZ Sun Services to install solar panels on our house. We also needed a new asphalt roof and an upgraded solar-ready 200 amp main electrical panel.

We had received quotes from 3 competing solar companies and 3 roofers. AZ Sun Services was able to meet all of our needs at a very affordable price. Their service is impeccable as well. AZ Sun Services is a small family owned business that has been in solar since 2012 (prior to that they were - and still are - an electrical service contractor). Their solar installers are NABCEP certified. AZ Sun Services uses the latest technology power inverters from SolarEdge, which includes online, real-time panel monitoring.

Best of all, 100% of the work - including a new roof, new electrical main, permitting, solar installation, and final APS meter installation - was completed in 4 weeks! An added bonus is a free aerial photo of the installed system via a drone mounted camera.

After sale service has also been excellent. John, Jason, Charlie, Joe, Mark and Terry treated us very well.

These guys were super expensive, and when I reached out to them with my concern about why I was charged so much (they didn't even need to fix anything, it was a tripped breaker!), he couldn't even return my email. Good luck if you use them, just be prepared to break out the check-book!

Just a shout out to AZ Sun Services for the great service.  We had a full electrical panel replacement from them and are very pleased.  George and Mark arrived when scheduled, kept us informed as the day progressed and made sure everything was working before they left.  We would definitely recommend them if you need your panel upgraded.

I call them and make an appointment and they didn't show up.
They told me that they did and that they waited for me for 1hr when I was home all day.,
They apologized and want it to make another appointment.  and I say no way jose.
That is not good Bussines when you take time of your day for them and no show

Before going solar we had done a TON of research. We received quotes from many different companies in the valley for many different sized systems, and ultimately decided to go with AZ Sun Services. We opted for the largest system we could possibly get (14.4 kw), along with the panel upgrade and extended warranty, and no one else could beat their pricing. I had another company trying very hard to poach our business, but after showing them the pricing we were getting, the competitor agreed that we were getting a really good deal. The system took a few months to become operational, but there were zero issues with installation or passing inspection. In order to install the new service panel, which was larger than our old one, they had to cut out a decorative archway that was made out of stucco in order to make the new panel fit. They took care of all wall/stucco repair associated with it, and it looks great! Our sales rep, Nathan, has always been reachable at all hours, including giving us his personal cell number. We ended up financing the system through Dividend, and have had a pleasant experience with them as well. With that being said, if you're in the market for a solar system, I highly suggest getting the largest system you can get and contacting AZ Sun Services for a quote.

I recently needed an electrician In the Tempe area for an electrical inspection on a property that I have under contract. I contacted AZ SUN SERVICES. They answered promptly and were actually able to come out that same day. Price was fair and George went the extra mile in inspecting the issue in question. I was having a few electrical issues and AZ Sun Services was recommended.  George Robbins is great, responded quickly and kept me informed through every step of the process.  He quickly identified the issues and provided an excellent solution.  They are very responsive with great customer focus.   I will keep their contact information for any future electrical needs.

Call George Robbins at AZ Sun Services for all of your electrical needs. He responds quickly, is friendly and professional. He repaired existing outlets and added an outlet. He also removed two recessed can lights to relocate them and concealed a cable behind drywall. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend George to anyone needing an electrician. I will definitely use him for any future electrical needs that arise.

Awesome!! I recently had recessed can lighting in the kitchen and a dining room light fixture installed. The work that was done was amazing! George was very friendly and easy to work with. He took the time to make sure I was happy with placement of the lights and was helpful with his opinion and expertise. I could not be happier with my new lighting!! Will definitely be using AZ Sun Services for any additional electrical work!

Courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. They installed my 53 solar panels and it's wiring and took the time to make sure the work was seamless and blended in with the home like it had already been there since it's conception. Terry took us on a tour of the solar power system so we had an understanding of how the system worked and explained the difference between  our system and our neighbors.  I added pictures except I could not fully show my solar panels on the roof top because I'm short and it's a 2 story house. They made sure that the work area was clean of debris after installation. Great bunch of hard working people that love what they do. I can't stress this enough. If you want the job done quickly and professionally these guys are the ones you want to come out doing it.

They were able to come out the same day to get a light working and install an outlet on our patio. I had called all over for someone to be able to come that day and had been striking out left and right. They were very professional and quick to get the repair done.

We recently moved to a home in Mesa and asked George Robbins of AZ Sun to stop by to install several devices and to clean-up and repair the electrical in the pool equipment area.  During our pre- purchase home inspection, a question arose as to whether the main breaker panel was maxed out.  George inspected the panel and found there to be no problems. I appreciated his honesty.  The service was prompt and fairly priced.  We highly recommend George.

Unbelievable company. I called the company that installed the solar system. They told me 2 weeks out and I would have to pay 150 dollars for the service call. Charles walked me through the system on the phone and my system is up and running. I wish we could have used them to install new system. I would definitely recommend this company.

Live in Mesa and just had AZ Sun Services do an electrical repair. George Robbins is terrific and responded on the spot.  He is very fair and very efficient.  Answers all of your questions and gives information for future projects.  We highly recommend him and his company.  You will be happy with the results.

I needed some electrical work done & called 5 electricians. Only AZ Sun Services called back (the same day).  Even better, George Robbins came out the next morning & fixed my issues & charged a fair price. The bonus came a few days later when installing a 3 pole timer- I called George & he walked me through the wiring. I highly recommend these folks- thanks George for all the help!

I am in the process of locating a solar company for the purpose of inspection and maintenance of an existing system that was installed by another company that no longer exists (previous owner of the home had this system installed). I called AZ Sun Services on 2 occasions; On the first I spoke to a person who asked for the system specs, which I emailed to him. He said he would call me back. My email contained all the information he requested and several ways to contact me - and he never acknowledged receipt of my email or attempted to get back to me. On the second occasion I called and left a message, it has been almost a week and no one has returned my call. I called AZ Sun Services because of the ratings on Yelp - but I have not experienced the same. I seriously question a company that thinks so little of potential customers as to not return phone calls. Good luck - hope your experience is better than mine.

Polite, professional and on time. I don't write reviews very often, but these guys exceeded expectations on ALL fronts. I spoke to 3 different solar companies and AZ Sun Services was extremely competitive on price and knocked it out of the park with the level of service they provided. John and Charlie were available for every random question I threw at them before, during and after installation. Charlie walked me through the process of submitting my request for solar with APS to ensure it was done right the first time. His attention to detail was flawless. APS installed the meter and approved the system in less than 2 weeks. My neighbor waited 4months!! Terry, their NABCEP certified installer, was on point. He was very thorough in telling me how the system worked and all the little things they did to ensure a top notch install. I would recommend these guys to anyone considering solar!!
