Eleazar and Gabe at Firefly does it again... Had Firefly come back out to my house for one more job, Rewire a switch from a 14/2 wire for a single hanging light to a 14/3 wire and add a second switch to control a new ceiling  fan light and fan separately which is replacing the hanging light.

While this sounds easy to do, I have done it myself in the past, Eleazar and Gab had their hands full up in the attic trying to route and fish wire around some difficult framing which made me more than happy to turn over to the experts. But in no time they had it figured out and the fan completely installed. So I had them hang a replacement fan in the other room which was already wired up.

I've had no power in 2 spare bedrooms for several months.  Three different electricians have worked on the problem without success.  So I called Firefly based on their reviews and wish I had contacted them first.  The receptionist was very polite, listened to my story, noted my frustration and said they could help me.  She offered an appointment that afternoon but I couldn't be home.  The team arrived the next afternoon and resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes.  All the employees I dealt with at Firefly were outstanding - polite, courteous, knowledgeable, explained the problem and the fix. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend them for electrical work.  Thank you Eleazar, Gabe and Ryan - well done!

A complete waste of time. I contacted a few electricians in my area because I had an issue with my microwave tripping the breaker. I ending up choosing Firefly Electric because of their great reviews. I messaged them through Yelp and had an appointment scheduled 2 day later for a technician to come out. I was told their pricing was $195 an hour and that included labor and materials. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the technician and was told I would be receiving my quote by phone and told I need to schedule another appointment for the job. I took time off work to be available and received a pointless phone call. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional company if you value your time.

Ryan just left our place and totally pleased with the outcome. We had an outdoor lighting sconce that was not working and I had narrowed it down to "something in the wiring" - AKA, "call a professional".

I actually found and contacted Firefly Electric on Yelp and the entire process went smooth. They even send text alerts to confirm your appointment, also for when the technician is on the way.

Ryan explained the process and possible charges and then got to work. He was extremely friendly and professional, explaining it in terms that made sense to me. He found and repaired the problem in fairly short order, ended up being a disconnected wire inside the wall. He corrected everything, no surprise charges or fees, totally smooth transaction.

I noticed he even cleaned up the area he was working in. I know that sounds small, but to me it shows he takes pride in his work - in addition to his
positive attitude. I have had other technicians/contractors that just do the job and leave their mess for you to clean up. No huge deal but Ryan's professionalism was noticed and appreciated.

Like most anyone probably reading this, I was nervous for what an electrician might find, and how much it might cost me. I can tell you that my experience with Ryan and Firefly Electric was positive and the charges were fair. I also trust Ryan's work and it's hard to put a price on having "piece of mind". Ryan knows what he is doing and it shows.

Service was never completed after 3 trips to my home. Waste of my time. I was refunded which I appreciate.

I got a quote from firefly electric to install a circuit in my garage for an electric vehicle. I believe Ryan is the one that arrived to give me the quote he was on time and was able to provide me information really quickly. He was able to give me numbers that were half the price of the previous electricians and seemed very knowledgeable about the electric that needed to be done. Honest company for a change. Very refreshing for someone to come for a quote on some work and not try to scare, upsell, or pressure you unnecessarily.

Excellent service! Our appointment was scheduled shortly after contacting them for a quote and some other electrical work around the house. Trevor H came out, hung the chandelier, removed 2 existing light fixtures and completed everything in a very efficient manner. Next time I need electrical work done I'll make sure to call Firefly first!

Had a guy come out to quote moving the electrical components for a pool filter. Guy who came out first contacted me to let me know he was running late. He very much sounded like he had just rolled out of bed on the phone, and didn't seem like his morning coffee had kicked in by the time he arrived at my place. In all, he seemed barely interested in the job, took no pictures, was in-and-out in less than five minutes. I'd love to be able to say whether or not their pricing was appropriate, but I never received a quote.

I give two stars for calling me up and letting me know they were running late (a courtesy I appreciate), and for at least showing up. But considering the lack of interest, and for ghosting me, that's as far as I can go.

I needed some new recessed lights installed in a bonus room and bought all the supplies thinking I would do it myself. Ultimately, I decided to find an electrician and messaged several on Yelp. Firefly responded quickly and set up an appointment for the next day. They showed up on time, knew exactly what to do, and quoted a fair price for labor. 2 hours later they had finished the entire job and the lights looked great!

The only thing they could have done better is used a shop vac while cutting holes in the drywall to minimize dust. They did cover everything with plastic to protect furniture, rugs, etc., but drywall dust still gets everywhere and some cleanup was required. I would still recommend them and will use them again when I need electrical work done

Firefly Electric did an amazing job. I will recommend them to friends & family, and will be using them again for any electrical work that I need at my home (I had used them for a rental property I own). If you're looking for a company for electric work look no further! They are worth the (short) wait, as they are busy for a reason! Not pushy at all for quotes and explain what could impact price. Very reasonable pricing for extremely high quality work.
Trevor was awesome; friendly while remaining professional. Most importantly, though, honest, efficient and effective completing high quality work. Answered any questions I had, showed me anything I needed to see, and confirmed with me before leaving that the work that was requested had been completed to my liking, as well as double- checking with me that he had cleaned up properly. Top notch service!

Trevor was terrific! He was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He pulled some wires and installed a new outlet for me. Nothing major, but the work was clean and well-done. I would hire them again.

Firefly Electric was very responsive. They even came out during a cold rain to give me an estimate. They kept their word on the estimate.
I could not be more satisfied with the installation. The 240V, 50 Amp circuit, and Nema 14-50 connector look excellent and ideal for my EV charging station.
The technician explained what he was doing and his approach to installation.

Trevor H. Was fantastic! Showed up in the first of the time slot. Wired up a 42 year old fixture and was clean professional. The ability to figure out to adjust the problem to make it work. Many thanks and highly recommend him .

I had a spa removed from my yard and I need to make sure that the wiring was safely disconnected and the conduit removed.  Firefly was very quick to quote and schedule a time.  Their quote wasn't the cheapest but it was by no means out of line.  I saw other reviews and felt confident that they were doing good work.  Communication was good and Diontae Jackson showed up on time and got right to work.  Diontae's job was made harder because I didn't realize how difficult removing the conduit would be and left many obstacles in his path (yikes).  He was really nice about it and got it all done.  He explained to me what he had done in the breaker box.  Before he left he was able to discuss some more work that I'm thinking  of having done.  An official quote came the same day.  I really appreciate the professionalism and would use this company again.

Firefly Electric sent two electricians to my home today to fix my 220 dryer outlet in my utility room and replace a GFI outlet outside of the back of my home. They were professional and polite. The price seemed reasonable for what I needed done.
It was a load off my mind to get these issues properly fixed.

I had called firefly electric last week on Thursday and they had someone out out by the following Monday which is today. I had the pleasure of having Trevor H. come out and install a Tesla charger in my garage. Trevor was beyond helpful and even more knowledgeable! He explained every step of the way as I was outside with him almost the entire duration of the install- I even had a bunch of unrelated electrical questions that he was able to shed some light on for me. Super clean job and anyone calling firefly electric needs to ask for this man!!!

I called to have a couple of electrical outlets replaced. The technician Chad was outstanding!! He was on time and had complete knowledge of what to do. Awesome company and awesome employees! I highly recommend this company for any electricity issues.

Scheduled my appointment a week ago.  I received a confirmation email and text shortly after speaking to them.  Normally a company will call or text the day before just to confirm the schedule appointment.  I didn't receive one.  The day of the appointment, I called 45 mins before my scheduled time to confirm.  I was told they would reach out to the worker to get an ETA.  I also texted to confirm i was still on schedule.  My return text says "I will be arriving  closer to 10am.  The time stamp was 9:36am.  At 10:03 I received a call from the technician saying will be another 30 mins, just got out of bed and had a stomach ache.  This guy sounded very unprofessional.  He says i can still come, will just be later.  Continued talking in his miserable, not feeling good tone.  I asked if he was sick? he says just a stomach ache.  So unprofessional.

Value prices, friendly service, excellent work quality!  Will use them, again, for sure!!

Update 7/1/2021:

Very very impressed. The owner called me out of concern of the way the other company installed the transformer in the wall, he was concerned that it could start a fire because it was not to code. I did not know this. He had a better idea on how to install a different kind of transformer that would be safe to put in the wall. He came on his own dime with the part that he bought himself and set it up today. This company takes total ownership of their work and you should never worry about going with them. Very upset that the other electric company would endanger my son by putting something that gets so hot inside the wall of his bedroom.  The picture below with the white cover with the small slots is the  result of Ryan the owner coming to fix the work and putting in a transformer that won't overheat in the wall.  The owner issued me a full refund for the transformer install for my inconvenience, which was completely unnecessary and beyond any of my expectations. I kept trying to pay him but he wouldn't accept it! Definitely go with these guys!

First Review: Felt very overcharged for the quality of work. They left drywall dust everywhere and did not clean up after themselves.  When they moved my son's bed they broke part of the wood the way they moved it, I discovered this after they left and had to move the bed back (they didn't move it back) and fix it best I could, then shop vac all the drywall dust.  They left a transformer exposed up on the wall in my son's room, and they didn't indicate there was any other option on how to configure it.  It looked horrible, and no boxes they sell at home depot were big enough to cover it (see photos). I only hired them because my go-to company was booked up.  I ended up using my go-to company anyway to fix the exposed transformer issue.  The technician was nice but he kept having to step outside on calls and it felt like the job took a really long time for what was actually accomplished. Would not go with these guys again.  The quality of work was lower than companies I've used, but the charge was higher.

Chad did an excellent install of new garage coach lights, hanging entry light, side flood lights, and back patio light replacement.  He adapted to the light fixtures we bought and went above and beyond to try to wire to an existing porch light and then installed a light sensor which our coach lights didn't have.  Very pleased with the outcome.  Would definitely recommend and will call again when needed.

I'm happy with the service from Firefly Electric. They installed the GFCI Protection outlet for my irrigation system. The serviceman is on time and professional. The fee is as reasonable. I would love to use them again.

Chad arrived early for my appointment from 4-6. Wow! I couldn't believe it!
He installed my ceiling fan in a fast and efficient manner. This was a peculiar fan to install with wiring issues...no problem for Chad though.

I can't say enough good things about Firefly Electric. They responded immediately to my request for a quote and came that day. Their quoted price the services I requested was far less than I imagined (recessed lights, new dimmer switches, and ceiling fan install.) They were then able to schedule the electric work around my schedule the next day.

In terms of their craftsmanship, absolutely top notch! Diontae is a master of his craft and takes pride in his work. He discovered with a laser level my old recessed lights weren't in perfect alignment and made sure the newly installed lights were.

For the dimmer switches I had installed I bought the wrong style, so Diontae went to Home Depot and got the ones I needed no questions asked. Diontae finished all my installs in only a few hours when I thought it would take much longer.

Installed a ceiling fan I purchased. Needed to cut into drywall, mount box and wire to new switch. Did a good job overall at a decent price. Ryan the owner reached out to make sure everything was completed well. He cares that the customer is satisfied, which seems to be absent from companies now a days. Recommend overall for your electrical needs.

In general I am a DIY person. However, I have a newborn that doubles as a black hole for time so doing anything, much less a big project was out of the question.

I wanted to do three main projects - rewire the pool pad, install coach lights, and install a receptacle for a car charger in the garage. I checked NextDoor and found all the electricians that people suggested and contacted them all. I contacted 6 of them and this is how this all panned out.

2 never returned a call/email/showed up for their appointment
3 came out and gave a verbal estimate but never would return my calls/emails to give me a written quote.
1 came out to give me a verbal estimate, talked to me about my overall scope of my project, allowed me to change my mind over details a few times, measured the distances for the project, called/voicemail, and gave me a written quote.

Can you guess who the last one was? You guessed it - it was Ryan of Firefly. Everyone else was a dud.

I am not sure why there was such a discrepancy of levels of service. The only thing I can think of is that the scope of my project was simply too big for some of these guys OR it was simply more profitable to go do small jobs (lets face it, it is probably more profitable to change a fan than it is to do one of my big projects) and instead of just saying "this is too big for me, I'll pass" they just ignored me.

Who knows.

But Ryan came through. I actually only did two of my three projects - the pool pad rewire and installed a car charger. I over-engineered both projects and thus spent more so I cut one of the projects out until a later time.

My pool project was what I'd consider a pretty big residential project. I basically had a sub-panel installed which for me meant going from 0.5" conduit to 1.5" conduit and running big wires. To get all that out to the back yard we had to cut concrete. This may have been what scared some of the people off.

The only thing I can fault Ryan for is that I didn't completely confirm how I wanted the pool panel conduit to be ran. My previous conduit was ran along the bottom of my house and I thought that Ryan would remove that and install the new conduit in it's place. Instead he installed it higher on the wall. While this makes good engineering sense (less moisture up there), I was a bit taken back by the installation location. In the end it was fine it was just when I went and saw it after he was done I was a little taken back because it wasn't what I expected. Ryan did explain himself well and even showed me the old conduit that was rusted out due to it's location.

So in conclusion, if you want someone that will take you from verbal quote to work done AND all the steps in between then Ryan is a good guy to do business with, especially if your projects are beyond changing a fan or replacing a wall switch.

Excellent job done by Dionatae, and Ryan provided competitive pricing and was promptly responsive and reliable. And we didn't have to wait too long to get the project done. I just LOVE the new can lights in our living room! The positioning is just PERFECT, I would never have able to come up with that perfect lay out no matter how many HGTV home renovation shows I watch everyday! I am so very happy! Great job guys! Had Firefly repair some electrical and drop a couple of new circuits in the house.  It was blazing hot outside and the job required quite a bit of attic work.  Dionte and Kyle were polite, efficient and thorough.  There was a little bit of follow up work required but they took care of everything in a manner that exceeded my expectations.  Based upon research I did prior to scheduling the job, I think that the price was very fair and I was pleased with the quality of work.  I would definitely recommend and would hire them again in the future.

Amazing work. In our exercise room we had an old fan/light removed and replaced with a giant round LED light fixture. Then in the second bedroom we installed a new fan/light fixture. So 2 jobs Ryan and his amazing helper did for us. Very nice people. So happy to have found his company, a keeper for life!

Firefly Electric fixed a particularly tricky electric issue for me.  My kitchen island went dead (no power) one day and the breaker was not tripped.  Ryan was able to come out the next day to debug the problem.  For some reason, the neutral connection feeding the island wasn't connected to the breaker box anymore.  He asked me a series of questions like "what was happening when the power died?" and "what was added when the kitchen was remodeled a few years back?"  He theorized that a nearby switch-box in the kitchen was probably where the power came in from the panel, opened it up, retightened the wire nuts that connected all the neutrals together and... voila... restored power to the island.  I can't thank Ryan enough for his help.  Great company, great communication, great debug skills.

This company knew exactly how to do a house to pool pump re-wire. Out of the six companies that came out, Ryan from Firefly was the only one that I felt would do the best job. Their bid was in the middle of the pack. Their workmanship was quick, clean and efficient.

Great company for all your electrical needs. I shopped around and got various estimates, and this company was by far the most affordable. Sherman installed 7 light fixtures in my house, and also did an electrical outlet on my wall for my wall mounted TV. They had given me an estimate, which I thought was really good, and actually charged me less at the end based on the time it took to do the work. The work was really good, and Sherman worked quickly. We had some special requests on our light fixtures and he accommodated them without hesitation. I would definitely pick this company again for any of my electrical needs.

My husband and I usually contact our contractor to get work done on our house, yet he was tied up with jobs. We contacted firefly electric and they were awesome. Hilary (who initially took our call), I believe is her name answered all our questions and if she did not know an answered she said she did not know and called us back quickly with an answer. We had two flood lights installed by chad who was meticulous and didn't mind taking the time to address all of our questions. He took the time to make sure our ring lights where properly installed on our phones so he would not have to come back out. Excellent service. We will tell all our neighbors and friends about firefly!

Had an NEMA outlet in my garage that I'm not sure if still working so I had a couple of other guys come to give me estimates on installing a 240v outlet for EV charging, they all said the existing one will not work and quoted me some insane number (some even over $2000) for installing a new one. But when Ryan came, he told me immediately that the existing one, with a special adaptor, will do the job, and no need for any other work, saves me $$$! Appreciate the honesty, will definitely reach out again if I have other electric needs.

They did a great job with some outdoor electrical work.  Ryan and Diontae were knowledgeable and extremely professional.  They communicated really well by email and text, and provided a very clear estimate prior to the work and a detailed invoice upon completion.  Highly recommend them.

Ryan was able to replace a receptacle for my audio system and install a light fixture for a more than fair price - all within 20 minutes. He was in and out so quick that I was able to convince my wife that I installed the light fixture myself when she got home! She didn't even know that a brand new $2300 receptacle was installed, which is good, because she wouldn't have approved (don't worry I put it on a credit card she has no clue about).

I called with a semi emergency looking for a tech asap. Hillary could not have been more friendly on the phone. She called the techs and called me back to let me know they were booked for the day, so she got me scheduled for the following day. Chad showed up and was as courteous, professional and knowledgable as you could expect. I'd never called an electrician before, but after this pleasant experience I will definitely be calling Firefly for all future needs as they arise. Excellent service from beginning to end along with reasonable prices.

Ryan showed up on time for the estimate and was willing to answer all of our questions. We had multiple estimates but went with Firefly because Ryan seemed both knowledgeable and the price was competitive. He set up a circuit for our mini-split and it works great. We have since hired him for additional work we have been putting off and are also satisfied with his work on that project. We would recommend Firefly to family and friends!

I love a company that will tell you what work doesn't need to be done and wont overcharge you. They haven't even done the work I need done yet but Ill be using Firefly exclusively from now on.

Honestly wish I could give 10 stars. Ryan came out, immediately identified our problem and let us know it was the power companies responsibility to fix it, not ours. He could have been dishonest and charged us thousands but his honesty saved us so much money and he now has a customer for life. You rarely see business owners choose honesty over profit and we can't thank him enough. His team still did some other fan installation work for us and they did an awesome job. We are so happy with the work and how affordable it was. Thank you Ryan and team, we will never use anyone else!

Prompt, professional and courteous from start to finish. Reasonably priced. Chad showed up on time, a little early actually, and was in constant communication with us. He explained everything upfront. We had him convert 2 lights from recessed to hanging fixtures and replace 10 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house. Won't look elsewhere next time I need electrical work done.

Diontae is the go to guy. A Veteran and a top notch electrician. Work was accomplished effectively and at a reasonable price. The crew cleaned up before leaving. I have requested extra work be done but have not heard back from big boss to explain estimate. I would recommend especially Diontae and crew. Just waiting for boss to call to schedule additional work.

My electrical panel died in the middle of summer heat, I was able to get on Firefly's schedule ASAP and they did great, neat work. Shout out to Hilary for caring that I didn't have AC, and Ryan for being willing to dumpster dive for spare parts before I decided replacement was probably the way to go if that's how old my panel was.

Ryan was extremely quick to respond to my request for a quote, and was courteous. Chad came out the very next day to look at the flush mount light in my garage that had gone out. He brought a replacement light to the appointment to save time, and was extremely friendly and transparent about the whole diagnosis. Plus, he was fun to chat with! Chad also found in the course of his investigation that whoever had installed our breaker box had used the wrong type of breaker for our garage. He replaced the breaker and the fixture, and even ran down the road to buy us a better type of lightbulb and did not charge us for any materials. The integrity and consideration that Chad showed blew us away. If we have any future issues we won't hesitate to call Firefly again!

For the first time ever, I trusted all the positive reviews on Yelp! Ryan responded to my inquiry and showed up to bid the job with a price I knew was fair right out of the gate. Diontae and Michael showed up on time, did the work with care and conscientiousness, made sure everything worked and was labeled correctly, and they cleaned everything up very well after the new breaker panel was installed. I'd had a little issue with some items I'd purchased when planning to have another person do the work (pre-COVID), but Ryan solved the problem. I am very grateful to have had my trust validated by people and a company with solid integrity. Let there be light!

Ryan and his crew arrived exactly at the start of my scheduling window to install a 50A circuit for our new hot tub. Work was completed in a timely manner and for a fair price. There was a minor hiccup when the hot tub installers went to connect things. Ryan was at my house within 10 minutes and got everything online. Exceptional service and a good value. Will use again if I have an electrical need.

We have a cabin in white mountains that needed an overhaul on the electrical box. It finally gave out on us one weekend we were up there. I called Ryan and he went up the next week . It was 27 degrees! But he got the job done! Appreciate the  work he put in to finish the job so we could have heat this winter,

Had 230v 20A circuit added in for thru-the-wall AC in garage.  Diontae did excellent work in installation.  Will hire again.

Firefly Electric provided an estimate and completed my project on budget and in a timely manner. Ryan and his partner were both pleasant and followed a COVID protocol. I had a new outlet placed in a difficult location, and two new outdoor flood lights installed. Both projects were not only completed, but were done in a aesthetically pleasing way. I will definitely be using Firefly Electric again in the future.

These guys are great. Ryan helped schedule a time, was very flexible with my schedule and sent Sherman out to do the work. Sherman was absolutely stellar and did fantastic work. He called ahead of time, let me know he was running early, provided helpful quotes for multiple inquiries, and recommended a cheaper solution to fix one of my ongoign issues (popping GFIs). I'd highly recommend these guys and more specifically, ask for Sherman. Great guy.

4.5 stars hands down! I needed a complete house upgrade to copper wiring and knew it was going to be a large long project. I did a lot of research and I narrowed it down to three companies. I contacted Firefly and two others on Thanksgiving as a small electrical fire started and Ryan at Firefly was very professional even though I reached out on a Holiday. I recieved the different bids and Ryan came in much lower offering the same services. He didn't gouge me like the others. Ryans lead electrician Diante was fantastic and stayed late on various occasions to ensure things were completed even if it could of waited the following day. I highly recommend Ryan and I am a pretty picky person as the job was completed without any major hurdles. The half star was removed from a 5 star as one of the electricians had to be reminded to shut my front door and gate a few times as well as some uneven and not necessary cuts in the walls, but as soon as Ryan was informed he made sure that little glitch was handled. If you are looking for top notch work, Firefly is the ONLY company to use! Another plus was he didnt nickel and dime me, if something extra needed to be done that arisen they took care of it without adjusting the initial bid, now thats a outstanding company who goes above and beyond. These guys are solid. I had a light switch issue in two bedrooms and I couldn't fix them on my own. I figured it would be a long shot to get someone out in the next few days, but these guys were able to come out the next day. They came looking professional and clean with collared shirts. After they efficiently did the work (and fixed both switches) I asked if they could look at a few other electrical items which they did with no issue. I started to get nervous about the cost as their work was top notch and they fixed everything I had issues with quickly, but when I received the invoice it was for just one hour at the standard rate (they were at my house for a total of 45 minutes). I am pleased with their service and will be referring them to anyone and of course I will be using them again in the future.

These guys are amazing. From the Ladies who answer the phone to the initial estimate to the work being completed all were amazing and wonderful to work with. The job was completed exactly as described by the original estimate and they were totally accommodating to a last minute addition of additional work. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend them.

Firefly was fast and responsive. Although he was not able to fix the problem, he was able to follow through with his promises.

Ryan did a great job getting me out of a bind. When my landscaper accidentally hit my pool timer while cleaning up sparks flew, and the timer stopped work. Had to pull the breaker. Wires were loose and had been burnt through. Ryan was able to come out to view the damage quickly, gave me a fair price & estimate, and got the work done in impressive time. As a bonus, my pool light works again! Cheers, and will be recommending Firefly for future work and to friends & family.

Ryan helped us a lot by installing two ceiling fans in two different rooms that had no attic access. He was very clear with us about where he would need to cut holes in the drywall and how many would be required. ryan is really great. helped route 5.1 speaker wires through my attic. also to note my attic didn't have any entrance to the area. he tactfully cut holes into the ceiling to continue his work. i m very impressed and would recommend him for any future work.

Had a big problem when my pool sanitation system stopped working.  The breaker tripped and could not be reset.  Ryan identified this problem and another potential issue very quickly.  He had to make a special trip to an electrical supply house to get the correct parts (the pool builder used the wrong type of breakers) and got our system back up and running in less than an hour.  They showed up on time and worked fast.  Firefly is now my #1 choice when I need an electrician.

I had contacted a few companies for installing 3 fans in my condo and Ryan was very quick to respond and was very competitive in price. He was very professional and responsive through the whole process.

When he started the project he realized it was going to be much more difficult than originally anticipated because of the layout of beams within the ceiling. He figured it out and got the job done. Granted it took a lot longer than he anticipated but he completed the job in one day. Ryan kept to his quote, though I know he would have charged more had he known it would be as involved as it was. I was looking to have a chandelier removed from the ceiling and have a ceiling fan installed in the center of the room. I checked out a few electrician businesses in my city and saw that I had the ability to send out a quote request to several businesses at the same time via Yelp. I sent the quote request to 11 different businesses on a Saturday afternoon and immediately got 7 responses within the hour. The owner, Ryan, from Firefly Electric was extremely prompt with a response and his quote was nearly the best I received that did not include needing time to schedule a free estimate to come take a look or a fee to come out and check the job out first. He was also available Monday morning at 6:30am so I decided to go with Firefly Electric. Ryan came right on time and texted us when he got there per my request not to wake baby with the doorbell and got to work. The job took a little over two hours, but that was because the fan was brand new still in the box. I realized after the fact that I should have opened the box and at least assembled the fan, but I didn't have the tools or know how to put it together safely, but Ryan was really nice and put it all together for me. He could have easily said he didn't have the right cover for the hole where the chandelier was and left it at that but he went to Home Depot to grab a different cover plate to cover the chandelier hole. He was very nice and did a great job. He put out a large sheet to cover our floors so that the mess wouldn't get everywhere. I would HIGHLY recommend Firefly Electric to anyone needing electrical service. I will definitely reach back out for future jobs as well as recommend them to friends and family.

Ryan was quick to come out and able to install my outlet for a low profile microwave on the same day as well as a separate one in the living room so that we could mount the tv on the wall for a  pretty reasonable price. Upon, his  adding the breaker for it, he discovered that the breakers were not right in the box and needed to be replaced as well as the entire box which had clearly had fire damage. He looked at a few of the breakers and said he wasn't sure how they were even working nor how long they would last in this condition and offered to check into a used new-ish breaker box for a replacement (to try to cut costs since we recently purchased the home). That meant a lot, especially since we did not anticipate this type of expense and had $$$$ tied up on other project/needs. Unfortunately, when he put one of the breakers back it must have been loose so later the AC stopped working ... I texted him around 9:30pm and he was quick to reapond and showed up in about a half hour to rectify the problem. Great customer service. He was unable to find a used box that would work for us but offered to give ua a diacount if we got everything set up with the city sonce he just started his biz and is a one-man show ... which was no problem. He came out to replace the  box the week we went on vacation... though Im not an electrician, obviously, it appears that he did a good job!! Thanks Ryan - ur our go to guy now!

The quality of work is excellent, no cutting corners. I definitely appreciated the help with getting my outlet to code. The project did take a little longer than anticipated and ended up costing $350 more than the initial quote (plus an additional $150 for drywall repair). My advice that projects be explained better at the beginning so I can have a better expectation and perhaps back out of something that I'm not ready for.

What can I say, these guys are fantastic!  I had a complicated wiring problem that one of the other big name Phoenix firms could not repair.  Ryan arrived with a can-do attitude.  He plugged through a hot attic and a difficult diagnosis to get the job done right.  They will exceed your expectations for professionalism and quality of work.  I will be using them for ALL my electrical work moving forward.  Do yourself a favor and do the same.

We wanted to have all of our recessed lighting changed to LED. We consulted Firefly Electric and came up with a game plan. The work was done exactly as schedule and at a reasonable price. Called this morning, and Ryan was out later the same day to fix a dead outlet found on a home inspection.  The home is closing on a sale in a few days so it was critical to get this fixed ASAP. Of the 5 other contractors I called, Ryan was the only one who called me back. His rate is super reasonable, and he was able to get the outlet fixed in one hour. I'll be using him for now on for other jobs!
