Sam did a bathroom remodel for us.  When it was finished we noticed the two cabinet doors were warped and other items needed fixed of which he did correct. It took awhile before he sent someone out to fix the doors.  His crew didn't get it right several times. After TWO YEARS he finally got someone to correct the problem. We had to call or text him constantly to find out what was going on with the doors. He had all kinds of excuses such as he was out of town or the guys we're out of town. Also someone had Covid or were sick. Excuses after excuses one of which they were out of paint.  he had no one who could fix it, etc. At times he seemed irritated with us for asking about our doors. We would either call or text him every other week. Glad it's over. To say the least would never hire Sam.

Sam was incredible to work with on my master bathroom remodel. He provided expert insight while also being fully supportive of my desire to design my dream bathroom. Let's just say I was VERY involved in the design process , and Sam was totally supportive of that. He worked with my vision from start to finish and promptly took care of any concerns I had. Several of the external contractors who performed installations said they make sure to keep materials in stock specifically for Pelleco Home Design, which - wow! My bathroom was a challenging project due to the intricate tile work in my shower, and the end result is just stunning. I'm so grateful for the work Sam and his team did to create this masterpiece. The before/after pictures attest to the quality of their craftsmanship.

They came out for the estimate they were on time,  very friendly,  we liked them a lot and wanted to work with them. I followed up when they said that they'd have the estimate and no response. I reached out again,  no response. I stopped reaching out because if they couldn't respond to give me an estimate I just didn't feel they would be reliable with work being done. The sad thing was I really liked them and wanted to do business with them. They were very nice,  kind and had awesome creative ideas.

Great company to work with for your home design and highly recommended. The owner is as nice as can be. The installs I had done were fast. Very affordable pricing. I had water damage in my home and as stressful as that was as well as dealing with insurance I figured also dealing with contractors would be a pain but this crew turned that around for me which was an unexpected surprise.

Sam came out to the house and gave me a rough estimate. Said he would have the kitchen design on Monday. Wednesday came around, nothing. So I reached out. Said it would be available Friday. Friday came around, nothing. So I reached out again. Finally came in a week later. So I was very interested and reached out again. And once again, nothing. No response.

Why do all that work, and waste my time and yours?

Imagine how bad the communication would be AFTER he had your money.

Sam came to our house to look at our project which was a master bathroom remodel. My wife and I had a good feeling about him and we decided to hire him. We gave him a deposit and  the next day they started the rip out. Sam said he could complete the project in 5 weeks and it was completely done in 5 weeks.

We used Pelleco Home Design for a kitchen redesign / renovation, as well as laundry room and floor renovations.  Sam was very involved throughout the design and build process. He was very responsive and kept me updated on who was coming to work and when.  

Pricing was very competitive and I really liked that they wanted to avoid change requests as much as I did. Even when unexpected challenges arose, he kept his word and there were zero change requests.  We have worked with other contractors in the past where every little thing was a separately charged piece of work... and that of course extended the timeline for those projects.  

We were back in our new kitchen within 5 weeks!  All of our neighbors commented on how quickly our project was progressing.  We love our new kitchen and we loved working with Sam and the Pelleco team!

Pelleco comes to the table with ideas and a vision. True, there is no shortage of home remodelers in this market, but, I would argue few as flexible and fair as Pelleco. For my project, in addition to what we initially agreed on, I changed the size of one showers, the location of a counter top, moved outlets, moved lights, did not like the location and moved them again, made a zero entry shower without a door, changed my mind about that and added a door. There was NEVER any hesitation of Pelleco's part to make the changes and to make sure we were happy with the result. I will use them again without hesitation.

Sadly, The owner of this business has no affection for the truth.  His response is not based in reality. I could go on to clarify but he is out of my home and that's the important thing.
Be careful.

I highly recommend using Pelleco for your remodeling projects. Sam J  is great to work with but importantly has a very creative mind and comes up with fantastic suggestions to help you design your space. Our team was excellent, led by Daniel,  who was our the project manager. Daniel's attention to detail is great. Pelleco's office staff, led by Becky, is also impressive as she is relentless in making sure everything gets ordered and shipped. Pelleco remodeled our entire home to include kitchen, family room, living and dining room, two bathrooms and laundry room. We interviewed multiple contractors before selecting Pelleco and it was absolutely the best decision.

If you are looking at a major home design project, two words... call Sam!

We moved into a new home in Phoenix with old, outdated cabinets, and a profound lack of pantry space. Since we were just in the process of purchasing our home, of course, we were on a pretty strict budget. We met with several contractors and most told us that a design project in the scope we were looking for started at DOUBLE what our budget was. To even make it close, we'd have to be responsible for purchasing all of our own cabinets and countertops and as much labor as possible, then call them to show up for the install.

When Sam came over to our house, he walked right in and immediately started giving us re-design ideas (we badly wanted some advice on renovating the look of our kitchen). He said he could do it within our budget; he would provide the cabinets and countertops from his warehouse, and he'd arrange all of the labor (he has some of his own crew, plus he used some contractors).

He knew exactly what kind of cabinets we wanted; at his store, he helped us pick out a nice matching countertop, backsplash, and sink that worked with the overall color schemes of the kitchen.

First off, every worker that came to my house (whether it was a Pelleco employee or contractor) was a total professional both in attitude and competence. Everyone communicated extremely well and there were no surprises.

They installed a beautiful kitchen, which makes it look brand new. In addition, we had a large pantry cabinet installed PLUS laundry room cabinets all for within our price range. Sam knocked it out of the park.

Lastly, Sam could not be more available or attentive to his clients. Call/text him and you get a response immediately; always doing anything he can to satisfy a client's question or complaint. He came over to check out the final product. I was so happy with it that he was actually looking for flaws so he could fix it for us. But there weren't any!

You will not be disappointed when you choose Pelleco for your project. We have another design project next year and you can bet we'll be using them again.

Our home was built in 2008 and we have remodeled everything except the master bath and utility room.  Hired Pelleco Home Design for the project.  Found them on Yelp. Sam is wonderful.  He was incredibly responsive, there were no hidden cost issues and they finished sooner than we expected.  He had the subs lined up, and they were great too. Could not be happier with the result.  I would definitely recommend them!  After pictures included.

After shopping the Home Depot, Lowes route and a couple contractors for a complete new kitchen, I decided on Pelleco. Sam came out and had great design ideas. They have a showroom and offer good pricing and quality. I went into the showroom to buy one thing and between my girlfriend and Sam, I came out with a more modern look which I'm happy for.

Although there were a couple bumps in the road, Sam said he would make sure I was satisfied and he did. They delivered a great kitchen on a total gut job and I'm very pleased with the results.

Worked with Sam and his team several years ago and just getting around to following up. He assisted me with a total gut and rehab of my childhood home after the passing of my father. The project was extensive and complicated due to poor design and layout from the original construction where a load bearing wall needed to be removed and a room without windows repurposed. Being totally overwhelmed, I needed a designer as much as a contractor. Trying to find an architect and contractor as separate tasks was impossible. When Sam came over, he actually sketched out what he thought should be done, and the vision was finally clear. I ran into a blocker that caused the work to stop for months, no fault of Sam. Despite this he was very flexible throughout the entire process and delivered a spectacular total house remodel. I've noticed you can hire other contractors that want to be told what to do and have no input, these same other businesses were either uninterested or overly expensive. Highly recommend as he's a great communicator and visionary.

Pelleco home, came and did a fantastic job on a small project I had despite how busy he was he made time to do the job that same week. He communicated effectively "the most important to me "  great prices and all around good people. When our next project comes I will be asking them to come for that project.

The crew at Pelleco is the best. Since we began our remodel plans to when our first job was complete, they have been nothing but honest, kind and helpful.

They've given us awesome prices (and we did our research to compare them to other providers). They have also been extremely efficient, accommodating to our schedule, and quick to finish our project.

They were happy to communicate via email, text and phone call at our convenience - they were always prompt to reply. The showroom has great hours and a relaxed atmosphere - we never felt pressured to buy anything and they didn't try to up-sell us to make more $. They suggested the more economic high quality fixtures and materials and kept us under budget.    

We liked them so much for our first project, we immediately decided to use them for a second project and we're getting started on that right now. We will be using them on any future projects as well. Don't hesitate to call Pelleco for any remodel project.

We found Sam randomly on Yelp, read the reviews, contacted him and a couple more contractors. Sam gave us the best quote among other contractors. We remodeled our kitchen and guest bathroom, installed new tile, demo 3 walls, relocated our air handler to build a laundry room(our laundry was in the garage and the air handler sat in the middle of the house). We added more stuffs down the road like adding more electric wire, AC work, installing water softener, repainting the whole house, and Sam is very patient and professional.  The whole project took about 5 weeks, as promised. Our project was completed in August 2019 and everything is in good shape so far. Sam is very talented in designing the new floor plan that works best for our limited space. He listened to what we want, made suggestions based on his experience, and he always gave great advise. Other thing we loved about Pelleco is that they carry the most trendy and quality products. We walked through MANY model houses before we decided to remodel our house in stead of buying a new one and relocating. We also visited showrooms from other contractors before we signed the contract with Pelleco. Everyone in his team are very talented and professional. There were still minor issue down the road, but we think every house remodeling would go through some sort of frustration at some points. The important thing is the end result. We LOVE our "new" house. Our family and friends all LOVE it. It is amazing how it turned out at the end. Special thanks to Sam, Alex the painter, and Leon the plumber for all the extra work you guys put into our house.

What an amazing experience ... Sam and his entire staff were absolutely great , when doing a major renovation there's lots of stress Sam answered all my questions and even my texts at times I didnt even expect him to respond. After years of saving, my wife and I managed to purchase our first home in the desirable 85254 zip code and we knew it was going to require a minor modification to master bath and kitchen and our budget was tight.

We contacted Sam after getting another cabinet bid and he took the opportunity to evaluate the other bid and then verify the specifications.  Sam came to our home and measured the kitchen and bath. He called out discrepancies in his effort to find an "apples to apples comparison".

While he was making his measurements, he made several suggestions for how to convert the existing space to reflect current design trends, without going overboard.

His suggestions were spot on, but after disclosing our budget restrictions, he focused his recommendations on the areas we intended to remodel. Note - his ideas for future remodel were excellent.

After taking measurements and asking many questions about the scope of our remodel, he assured me he would have a very competitive bid and would email the specifics later in the day.  

Sam sent the bid as promised and it was significantly lower and had upgrades that others overlooked (Lazy Susans in corners and other subtle but important upgrades). The cabinets he bid were comparable in construction and appearance, and included upgrades.

We continued to refine the bid and expanded the scope of the bid to include counter-tops, back-splash, hardware, sink and vanities.  Each of his bids was easy to read and competitive.

Throughout this process, Sam was/is courteous, professional and takes the time to understand the limitations and considerations of his customer. This made us feel like valued customers at the start of the process and throughout the contracting relationship.

Two weeks before my scheduled moving date, I couldn't get hold of the cabinet guy that I was going to place the order with. Based on yelp reviews, I decided to call Pelleco to see if they have something that'll fit my price range and also if they'll do a small job like mine. I only needed vanity cabinets for my two bathrooms.

I was given some options over the phone that would fit my needs and my budget,  so I decided to stop by and check out the cabinets. The quality of the cabinets are very impressive and they're of much better quality compared to  the other stores that I've checked out.

Sam and Sara were super helpful in helping me with the design and they're very straightforward with their pricing. We got everything straighten out in 2 days and I was able to get my cabinets and the countertop installed within 4 days after placing the order.

Everything was delivered and installed on schedule and the entire process went smoothly. The installers did a great job and they made sure everything's clean after they're done with the work.

I am really happy with the entire process and the outcome. My friends are all impressed with how fast the cabinets and the countertop were in, as well as the quality of them. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking into redoing the cabinets or countertops.

We had Pelleco do a full remodel and an addition on our home. There entire staff was helpful, polite, and the end results were spectacular. Sam made the process easy, he explained every step of the process, and was flexible in always taking the time to talk through our concerns. I'm so glad we trusted Sam and Pelleco with our home.

The appointment maker was very nice and friendly and immediately called me back to schedule an estimate.  I was very disappointed when no one showed up for my scheduled hour long appointment.  I called, and the receptionist was very friendly (again) but claimed that Sam was stuck in a meeting and needed to reschedule.  I like to think that I am flexible, but I think that if you're going to be one hour late for an hour long appointment, you could step out of the meeting and let me know if not before, at least during.  Very disappointed.  The receptionist apologized and offered for him to come the next day, but I declined because I didn't want to start a major master bath remodel with someone who can't call/email/text/anything before or even within the hour they are supposed to be at my home.

We researched several companies for our master bathroom remodel project. Sam from Pelleco Design came to our house and was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided us a free price proposal and answered any questions we had and was very nice and easy to work with. We chose Pelleco to do our bathroom remodel and we are so glad we did! The bathroom turned out gorgeous! Sam worked with us to make sure we picked out each item we liked and made sure everything worked well together from a design perspective. The claw-foot tub they found for us is beautiful! The other great thing is their price proposal is what we paid, no hidden costs. Sam has a great team including Becky and Edgar and they are good people to work with. We highly recommend Pelleco Design and think you will be very satisfied!

My husband found Pelleco on Yelp and was so impressed by the reviews so we decided to interview them.  We were so impressed with Sam's integrity, honesty and genuine desire to help us achieve our dream.  We purchased a home that was 20 years old in need of a major update.  Not only did he create our dream home but he did it in record time.  Since our home was being gutted we decided to find temporary housing so it would be easier access for them on a lockbox.  We are thrilled with what Sam created for us.  He was so fairly priced and didn't nickel and dime us on change orders.  We highly recommend his company and are happy to be a reference for them. I'm posting this on Yelp because all the reviews I read were 5 stars.  My experience was NOT 5 star though the finished cabinets and countertops are very acceptable.  

The first time I was in the showroom Sam was on the phone with someone talking about a problem with a cabinet.  Sam told the customer that he'd have a replacement piece out to him before noon.  That conversation impressed me and so we decided to use Pelleco to replace kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and countertops in a complete home remodel.  Sam made suggestions about countertop colors which were spot on and look great.  The installed products seem now to be fine, but it took 4 weeks from the time that a contractor (not Pelleco installer) showed up to begin the install until the cabinets were complete and correct.  

The vanities in 3 bathrooms had already been set when I arrived the morning of the install.  They were all installed in the wrong places - apparently there was no diagram for which cabinet bases went where and Sam had gone through with the contractor and said put that vanity here and that vanity here so they all had to be pulled and the job started over.  The original statement I made about Sam taking care of problems was, in our case, a business model requiring that corrections be made over and over.  (When this kind of thing happens on any phase in a job it can have a cascading effect in that something else-like flooring surfaces, wall surfaces, etc.-will be damaged when "undoing" poor or incorrect work.)   When the kitchen cabinets were set the first installer mounted hardware with the cabinet doors closed so he managed to drill into one of the stiles of a cabinet so it had to be repaired and painted - a very rookie mistake   After all the cabinets were properly set then countertop installation began.  The countertops in the bathrooms were beautifully done and completed very quickly, but the kitchen installation was absolutely wrong - there were seams in the quartz which ran "through" the sink.  So-o that countertop had to be pulled and a different fabricator showed up several days later and did a good job.

When the job was supposed to be complete rather than having someone go through the cabinet installation and be certain that everything was correct Sam always said "what's wrong" but he never wrote anything down.  Someone would show up to do work but have no instructions as to what they were supposed to be doing. .  An installation which was supposed to have taken 4 days ending up taking 4 weeks from beginning to satisfactory finish.   As I said the final product is most satisfactory, but the process and professionalism were miserable.  This is not a company I will ever recommend or use again.

Excellent work by Sam's team on our bathroom remodel. His showroom made our choice of finishes easy. He was always available for questions and to provide practice updates. He recommended additional work (recessed lighting and minor upgrades to 2nd bath) for very minimal fees. I'm extremely pleased with the result and would highly recommend Pelleco!

My boyfriend and I hit all the big box stores to get quotes on a kitchen remodel but thankfully we kept looking and found Sam at Pelleco before we bought anything. Sam has really creative design ideas - he knows what looks good! He was easy to work with and very competitively priced. The quality of materials is high (higher than what we would have been able to afford at one of those big box stores). In fact, we got much more bang for our buck with Sam than we would have anywhere else. Sam was quick to address any complaints we had during installation and has since followed up with us on a few other items that did not originally meet our expectations. We'll be contacting Sam next year when we have budget to redo our bathrooms.

I went to Pelleco a few times and found quartz that I wanted. They were very helpful in allowing me to bring home tile samples. I met with Sam who was extremely helpful. We looked at sinks, faucets and cabinet hardware.i was told that the slab would be in the end of May,  beginning of June.  I did my due diligence and found better prices for the faucet,  hardware and tile that  hoped  he could come down in price.  I made an appointment for today with Sam who wasn't there. Justin was. I discussed what I found and they couldn't come down. He was going to check on the quartz and get me the deposit amount. Justin called me back and told me that the quartz would be in mid June. My bad I had it in my head that they were talking about July and was a little huffy. I called back and apologized. I was then told they wanted a 100% down. I told Justin no one pays 100 % up front and he said he'd call Sam to see what he could do. I was then told 2k down. My estimate which included the sink was $2600.  Needless to say,  I feel he didn't want my business because I got better prices on the extra items. I'm very upset and disappointed.

Sam has the ability to get the homes I do done so well! I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone who has been doing this for a long time, has great quality things. He helped to facilitate the installation of the countertops and the installer stood by their work when things weren't quite right. That says a lot about the kind of people he uses to sub contract the fabrication. His pricing is fantastic. I have been recommending him left and right! I'm an interior designer and know a great industry partner when I have experiences with them like Sam!

I used Pelleco for a kitchen and bath remodel. I spent over a month shopping around taking various quotes and i can say without a doubt you won't find a better bang for your buck with your remodel/renovation. Most places needed much more time than Pelleco to complete the job. Not to mention the fact that with Pelleco, i received real plywood cabinets for the same price i was quoted with MDF or particle bored built cabinets. Very few issues came up but when they did they were handled promptly. Sam is very personable, i can tell he understands how important a good reputation is in this business. He knows if you succeed he'll succeed.

Sam was great to work with! The entire process from selection of materials to installation was very quick and simple! I'm very happy with the final kitchen and look forward to working with Pelleco again!

Pelleco provided my family with an awesome experience. Sam came immediately and with his expert eye told us exactly what we needed for our kitchen remodel. He was on time, thorough, and professional. We got the quote quickly and he gave us a screaming deal. Pelleco was very flexible and was able to deliver our cabinets within 72 hours. We even had a little hick up and one of the cabinets were to big so they immediate provided us with a replacement cabinet in the same day. It was extremely easy to work with them and get matter handled. My contractor and Pelleco work extremely well together so I was able to just leave it up to the experts. The quality of our cabinets and countertops are amazing! We go a shaker all white cabinet with a Calcutta counter - beautiful. I really should give this place a N/A or zero star since they never bothered to show up for the appointment. We were given a TWO hour window and just waited and waited around. Every other company we have contacted for a quote has managed to give us a specific time to expect them. Shame, since there are so many good reviews that seemed promising for our full home renovation. But perhaps I should've known from the text message communication I received and the time window we were given (which I generally associate with cable companies, not a design firm) we weren't really dealing with true professionals.

Walking into Pelleco was a great experience. Chelsea was very welcoming and helpful. We scheduled a free in home design and consultation. Their prices are very competitive and have great selections from cabinets to counter tops. We decided to have them do the job and could not be any happier. I would recommend them to all my friends. Pelleco Home Designs has helped us turn our kitchen from a 1970's old school white tile countertop kitchen to beautiful white galaxy granite countertop. We ended up staining our cabinets and the kitchen looks 1000% better. Sam is very easy to work with and has great ideas and expertise to help his customers transform their kitchens and bathrooms. We got a free quote from Sam and once we agreed to the work we had an appointment within a couple weeks to get the work completed. We just had Pelleco Home Design completely renovate our kitchen and are glad we went with them. After researching our options, we called Pelleco. Sam showed up on time, took some measurements, and gave us a basic idea of how our layout would look. He then gave us blueprints of how our finished kitchen would look with the cabinets, counter tops, sink, and appliances, complete with measurements for everything. Before construction began, we were able to visit their showroom to see how the cabinets, hardware, and counters would look. At the Pelleco Surfaces warehouse, we got to pick out the actual quartz slabs that would go into our kitchen. Sam was great to work with and was always able to be reached. He kept us updated every step of the way. Everyone in his crew was professional and helpful. The whole renovation took about two weeks and we're very happy with the end result. While doing renovations at my condo, I happened upon Pelleco based on the excellent reviews on Yelp. Happily, the yelp reviews were correct, the team at Pelleco is great to work with! Sam made the product selection very easy and we had our new kitchen counters and undermount sink installed within less than 10 days! On top of that, the total cost of the job was significantly less than the quotes we got from the big box stores as well as other companies. Pelleco also came out quickly to address some issues that we saw with the install. Great experience overall!

Located in the rear corner of Terry's Consignment in Scottsdale you will find the showroom of Pelleco. Do not let the size of the space fool you. The expertise is on par with much larger wholesalers and interior designers in the area. Sam pays great attention to detail and is easy to work with. I am fairly new to home ownership but have very high standards and expectations. At no time did I waiver at anything Sam suggested or offered. His pricing is extremely competitive and he has access to a wide range of materials and products. While we had Pelleco do a full estimate based on our remodeling needs; we didn't use him for all but we're very pleased with the outcome. We took four bids for each project. Sam bid on each job individually and gave us a great deal on kitchen, bath, and flooring. We took the best bid from each vendor type and added the total sum against Sam's bid for the entire project. Sam was a pleasure to work with and was very patient as my girlfriend and I made style changes often.

My Husband and I are so happy with the quartz countertops that we purchased from Pelleco it has inspired us to continue updating our house. Sam and his staff are very helpful and friendly and their prices can't be beat!!

Met Sam at the perfect time, right when we were getting ready to begin a full remodel of our 3,200 sq. ft. home. He helped us design and procure all that was needed for the remodel, from flooring, to kitchen and bath cabinets, to beautiful quartz countertops, to plumbing fixtures! He's a great designer and has amazing prices for great quality items.  If it wasn't for Sam, we would have ended up hiring a designer and spending 15-20K on design alone! Sam got us great style at amazing prices, just the way we like it.  Did I mention he's a great guy and easy to work with? Thank you for everything!!!

What can I say? Sam delivered.  We had our whole kitchen remodeled including removing walls to open up the space. Sam gave us great recommendations.  From the shaker cabinets, the color, the backsplash.  Everything came out exceeded my expectations.  It really transformed my kitchen.  As with any renovations it came with headaches.  I didn't really had good experiences with the installers.  when it came to detail stuff they kinda skip or would hope the owner don't see them.  But a call to Sam and he was able to help me out and get things right.  We ran into problems with materials being short but after talking to Sam,  he finally agreed to cover for us.  I think it is important that Sam did that because it wasn't the money considering I paid thousands of dollars when the part is only 80 bucks.  So it came down to the principal kinda thing.  So I'm glad Sam saw that.  Overall my wife and I are extremely happy with the result.  Don't hesitate to use him for your kitchen design.  He will deliver for you.  My wife and I will definitely call him when we are ready to remodel our bathrooms.
