I'd like to start off saying that I am a consumer looking to purchase flooring. Most people, in Arizona, automatically think of lumber liquidators when searching for floors. I decided to look for other suppliers and ultimately chose Arizona Floors for my project. There's a few really great reasons why I chose them over other businesses...
1-They quoted me on the spot, all installation materials (like glue and baseboard) included.
2-when looking for quotes and researching companies I received a quote of $1.29 per sq. ft. for the vinyl flooring I was looking for, after deciding to use AZ Floors I stopped back in there and they re-quoted me $1.49 sq. ft. I brought this up to Ryan Jackson and he contacted his boss and honored the original quote I verbally received a month before From him. I highly appreciate a company who stands by their word!
3-Ryan stopped what he was doing, and immediately gave me his full attention. We found the flooring I needed, discussed installation techniques, and even gave me a few examples of durability by explaining a few local business that have had the same flooring installed in them for years and how their flooring has held up over time.
4-This is a locally owned and operated business, these guys care about the products they offer, and most everything they carried looked of very high quality. They've taken the guess work out of finding a quality lasting product.
I am satisfied with my transaction, customer service, and ordering process... Now let's hope the install goes well and the flooring holds up!
Thanks AZ Floors!
We contacted them to refloor a section of our house, we scheduled a rep to come. And they measured and we went down the following day to select tiles and they said they would contact us with a quote that never happened. We followed up 6 days later and they still have not responded. We went elsewhere!

Robert was instrumental in my bathroom remodel process. Before consulting with him I was about to make a big mistake on choices! He helped me select a beautiful porcelain tile for the shower that goes perfectly with my travertine floors. I could not be happier with the way it turned out. The before and after pics are pretty amazing! Thank you, Robert! Grateful for all your help!
Couldn't be happier with how my new floor turned out! Robert was very helpful and gave me all the information needed to make sure this project went smoothly. The Coretec laminate I chose laid nicely and turned out incredible. Thank you Arizona Floors!
The owner handle my issue directly and resolved everything to my satisfaction. The reason I am giving this business 5 stars is due to the customer service and care that the owner gave me. I appreciate business owners that care about their customers.

Another Remodeler who doesn't follow up
Said would have someone call
Asked to set appointment with daughter never called
An amazing staff. Dave Whitermore provides exceptional service, which is appreciated all the more when most retailers have forgotten the meaning of customer service. I have done several projects with Arizona Floors and they have always provided the best pricing, are the easiest to work with, and are always responsive. Truly the very best in customer service.

We recently bought our first house! The former owners had all of the carpets cleaned, which was awesome except it brought up all of the nasty pet smells that had been hidden in the carpeting. We have a 15 month old little girl who loves playing on the ground, so we decided to get new flooring so it was clean and safe for her to play.
We chose Independent Arizona Floors on reviews that we read on yelp. When we went in to the showroom in phx we met with Robert. We told her the specifics we wanted with our carpet - durable, comfortable, green labeling/low off gasing, and relatively inexpensive since we just bought a home and still needed furniture.
Robert went through all of our "wants" and told us what we could get in the store, He explained to us about all of the different products they have and then made a great recommendation for us to start looking at the Lee's brand of carpet. He let us know that it would be a great carpet choice because it had many of the properties that we were looking for in carpet, plus so much more. And at the time it was 50% off, which allowed us to get a higher quality of carpet for a great price!
We chose to have Arizona Floors do all of the labor, which raised our overall price, however it was worth EVERY penny we spent! Robert did a phenomenal job of safely & efficiently removing the old carpet and pad, sanitizing and cleaning our space and then laying down the new pad and carpet. I know that there are seams in the carpet, because I saw the schematic drawing of how they were using the remnants of the carpet and yet we cannot find a single seam! Great care was taken with our home and we are very appreciative of that!
The entire carpet experience was fantastic and effortless on our part. Arizona Floors will be getting all of our flooring business in the future and will be the business we recommend everyone going to for their flooring needs. Thank you Robert & Arizona Floors for making our home safe for our little girl to play in. We have a great warranty and look forward to living in our new space. Arizona Floors was upfront with all of the fees and expenses so there were no surprises on the installation day, which happened about 1 week after we picked out our carpet.
Good price, outstanding craftsmanship! Gino and crew did an awesome job! Finished job quickly due to my schedule! Robert provided good guidance and recommendations for the proper material!

David went up and beyond to help with our flooring needs. Top notch customer service. Thank you.
We had Robert and his team from Arizona Floors install carpet in our condo recently. Robert was very knowledgeable and helpful, and treated us like family. The installers were professional, courteous, clean, efficient and communicated well! Great company to work with - we look forward to doing more business in the future.

David Whitermore just completed a job for my family - installing granite counters and new faucets. David managed the installation and helped keep the project on time and budget. His communication was terrific - something this is often lacking with other contractors. Great overall experience

A tough review to write. A mix of good and not so good. Some of it is not their fault, also.
In our case we needed to replace some damaged flooring (hardwood). However, our precise hardwood isn't made anymore (or, rather, they changed it so even though it has the same name/number, it's different). Nobody's fault there. To the credit of Arizona Flooring, Robert (the owner, I think) helped find a close match. It's the same wood species, and the color was very close. But the texture is different. It was either that or go with something completely different, so we opted for the "close as we're gonna get" choice.
The install didn't go as smoothly as it should have, in my opinion. Obviously it is more difficult when there is furniture and baseboards already in place compared to coming in on a bare floor with no baseboards. They tore out the old flooring, and then put in the new. It seemed to me this crew wasn't as good as they should have been. When they were done we could see some of the raw wood in the seams, implying the tongue-in-groove wasn't as tight as it should have been. This is the tough bit because I can't be completely sure if that was their fault or if the wood itself just doesn't seat quite right. However, their showroom sample didn't exhibit this problem, and neither did most of our floor when they were done, so I tend to think it was the installers. They used a caulking material that also served as a stain to fill those gaps and (hopefully) color the wood.
They did manage to do nearly the entire job without ripping out our baseboards (which was nice). Kudos there. Though we did end up with some dings and scratches in the paint.
Robert was very conscious of customer service. So I have to give bonus points there. He was concerned and responsive, doing his best to rectify any problems and make us happy. That's a good sign. As I type this we are awaiting "spare" boards (in case we need any repairs in the future). His crew didn't leave us a box (and they were supposed to).
We did not try their tiling. Tile is done by a different crew. So we can't comment on that. The install I would have to give 2 stars, but that may have just been the one crew. Selection in the store was perhaps 4 stars (there was a LOT of wood to choose from). Robert's concern for the customer is probably 5 stars. Add it all up and I'd have to go with about 3.5 stars, if YELP would allow it. I think I'll do 3 stars now, and if I have another experience (maybe for some tile we are thinking of doing) I can up it to 4 stars if it goes better.
I ask for a sample and they didn't have it on stock and said they would call the next day for me to come get. They never called and when I went to the store and they said it was disconnected! So we had someone to come measure and nobody came or called. Waste of time!
I stopped by to check these guys out, and I looked around for about 30 min before someone said hello. I just replied bye and continued out the door.
We've ordered flooring thorough Arizona Floors 3 times now and have been very happy with our experience each time. David has helped us each time and he's very knowledgeable and on top of things. This last time especially, he went above and beyond to really help us and go out of his way to make the process easy for us. Would definitely recommend going here!

I really liked the flooring choices and the prices. They were great to work with. Dale Marshall was our sales rep and our installation crew was delightful to share a home with. We had them come back and do our bathroom as well. Neat folks!
The only setback was that the follow up was less than I had hoped. We had a couple issues with the flooring and Dale gave us some immediate help, but the installation specialists all seemed rushed and ready to move on to other projects.

I was very impressed with the quality of the product and service we received. There were a couple of issues with the installation, but the company was quick to correct the issues, took full ownership and stood behind both the work and the product. We could have found a cheaper vendor, but I doubt they would have stood behind their work like Arizona floors. We made the right choice!
Liesa, our salesperson, knows her product. She helped us select the perfect flooring for our needs, budget and taste. Gino was great to work with and the results are really better than we expected. We love our new wood-look laminate floor and have been recommending Liesa and Arizona Floors to our friends!

Great and honest company to deal with. Bought new home and had AZ Floors do new carpet, subway tile backsplash, granite counters and wood looking tile. Everything turned out beautifully and the crew was so accommodating and professional. Robert kept me posted via text or call every step of the way! Great prices and happy to support LOCAL businesses VS. big box retailers.

We went here to pick out some tile and get a quote for a backsplash installation for our kitchen. When we arrived the only people inside was a lady and her two kids who appeared to be hired to clean up the store. After ten minutes of waiting for someone to come out and help us, we walked to the back of the store to find the woman working coming from outside in the back of the building. Once the woman did come in, we explained what we were looking for and asked her if she could show us some tiles and give us a quote, she had no idea where the color of tiles we wanted were found, she appeared unorganized, confused and uninterested in helping us. She suggested that we email her and she would put together a quote. We emailed her all the information and she did not respond to any of our emails. This place deserves no stars, they are unorganized, unprofessional and have terrible customer service. Avoid this place!!!!

Arizona Floors has been a great find! Located right off the SR 51 on Indian School.
They have helpful staff, great prices and an amazing selection. I was especially happy with Ryan. He was very helpful in finding a specific tile I needed, as well as pricing on about 15 different types of granite. He was so patient as I had a difficult time deciding. Thanks to Ryan! I highly recommend Arizona Floors.

After contacting them they called to set up a quote within the hour. Lisa showed up measured and got the name of the tile we wanted. A few days later she emailed a quote since we could get the tile cheaper at AZ Floor and Decor we bought the tile from them and AZ Floors did the install. The install cost was a little higher than I wanted to be but after reading their reviews I thought you have to spend money to get quality work plus we were having a lot of ceramic tile and some carpet torn out. Original quote was 5 days total, 3 for demo 2 for laying the tile. Supposed to start on a monday got a call from sales person that they cant start till tuesday, ok no big deal. Start Tuesday with demoing the tile, it took them all day to remove just the tile, not sure if this is on par or not. Next day we were not there as they continued to work so no clue when they showed up to work but when I got off work I got there around 2 and they had grind down about 10 sqft of the thin set. Which they were having problems with my breakers tripping but if its not working why continue to try it move on to something else. They only started ripping up the carpet when I mentioned it. Next day again no clue when they got there but they were able to keep a breaker not sure what was going on there. They got about 1/3 of the thin set up and jack hammered some of the other but not completely flat. Friday got a call from the sales person telling us they would be charging us for an extra day due to the thin set taking so long..... yeah not too happy about that but work continued as they finished grinding the thin set. Saturday it was ready for tile install they did finish laying tile in one of the kids room and cut tile for the next room. Monday comes and they showed up early finish laying tile in two of the four bedrooms so three bedrooms have tile in them if you are counting at home, oh and they left before 1. I ask them to start grouting the next day of what they got installed so I can put my kids' rooms back together. Tuesday they grout and me and my wife go into the store to talk about whats going on. Our sales person wasnt there so I talk to someone else. After asking when our floors would be done the person we talked to asked how long have they been working and when we would be moving in. After I told her it had already been a week and we were living there her face changed and said ok wow yeah I will have your sales person call you. We get home and the lead guy working on the tile tells me they would be bringing in another set of guys to get this done. Later that night we get a passive aggressive text from the sales person basically stating that they had run into problems with our house and we need to be patient, ok maybe it wasnt passive aggressive but thats how i took it, but they continued to work and the floors finally got done that Thursday with the extra crew. So 5 days of work turned into 9 days and we paid for them to move our furniture and move it back after, they moved the couches and entertainment center they asked if I was good so they can leave. Looking at it now I wish I would have hired someone from craigslist to do it, the quality of work probably would have been the same.
Customer Service - 1 out of 10
Quality of work - 6 out of 10
Timeliness - 1 out of 10
Would never use them again would not recommend anyone to use them.
We worked with Arizona Floors to have new granite countertops, composite stone sink and glass-tile backsplash installed in our kitchen and granite countertop and new sinks installed in our guest bathroom. We were very pleased with the finished product - looks outstanding.
We worked with Leisa who did a great job of keeping us informed of scheduling and working with us to ensure the quality of work was excellent.
AZ Floors stands behind their work. They are honest and work with integrity. At one point in the process we had a concern about an aspect of the quality of work from one of the subcontractors. Robert, the owner, and Leisa were very responsive to our concern and corrected the situation.
We highly recommend this company and plan to hire them again in the future for an additional bathroom and flooring changes.

There was a little hiccup with the tile installation which I brought to the attention of Joni who gave me the quote and was followed up by a phone call from the owner.. With that being said Joni and the owner were awesome and made the situation right which I can appreciate... The tile job turned out beautifully and because of their great customer service, prompt service as well as accommodating I would use them again
We obtained quotes from three different flooring companies in the Valley and we were very happy with Arizona Floors. Their prices are competitive and their staff is really quick to respond.
We worked mostly with their sales rep, Ryan. He did the initial screening over the phone trying to understand what kind of work we want done and what materials we had in mind. We also stopped by their store on Indian School to pick out materials. He showed us around and gave us options based on our wish list and budget. He helped make the daunting experience bearable and fun.
Afterward, he scheduled an appointment to come over to the house and took measurements. He also had samples on hand to help with any final decisions.
When we were able to commit to the materials, the scheduling was so easy. He was able to get the crew in within a week. They had three separate crews come in based on their areas of specialty, but the workers were very professional and fast. They also kept to themselves while they worked and did their best to minimize intrusion.
Here is a list of the work done at our new home:
*laminate hardwood floors in the home office
*carpets in all bedrooms and some spots in the common areas
*tiles in master bathroom
Payment agreement is: pay half of the balance before the work starts and the remaining after completion. They also offer financing if you need it.
Overall, we were very happy with the upfront process, as well as the labor work. We even got a couple of text messages from Ryan checking in after the work was completed. Arizona Floors is our #1 pick for floor work in the Valley. I am also a licensed Realtor in Arizona and I have referred them to my clients and friends - all resonded with great feedback!
Today October 27, 2014, I experienced an emergency. My USB charger was busted and I phone was completely down.I was on my way to a new clients house and I need the GPS. Thank God I stopped at Arizona Floors! I ran in frantically and asked to used a charger. The staff was AMAZING, scratch that BEYOND AMAZING!! Not only did they allow me the use their charger a super nice gentleman Robert I believe actually gave me his USB, so I would not miss my appointment. The kindness of strangers is still alive at Arizona Floors and when I finally do buy a home, they have a life long customer! Thank you!
Recently purchased an older home in the area and happened to pass by this place daily while moving. It was small and I didn't think it will have the selection of bigger flooring retailers BUT I was wrong...... it had better prices and a better selection than all the places I had been checking out. They worked with me every step of the way by letting me take samples to see what I loved, to making sure I could get installed exactly when I needed. ASK FOR RYAN when you go in, he even showed up while the installers were there to check on things and contacted us that evening to make sure we loved our new flooring. A great place to do business with!!!

I visited Arizona floors in February and found many choices in tile and carpet for my home. Leisa helped me make great choices. The installers did a great job. They were very clean and punctual. I will be using them for my granite counter tops next.
Company was very responsive on getting a quote. Once they took deposit wasn't as responsive. Was told they would call me to let me know when my carpet would be in. I had to call for my own update. Our sales rep was paul. You would think after spending 5k in flooring I would get a phone after installation to see how I liked my flooring?? NOPE! The installation guys were nice. They did nice work, however they were taking personal phone calls all day while cutting and fitting my carpet. After completion of work they left caulking on the new flooring. One of the installers told me if I mopped it, it would come right up. He then knew I was a little upset with how messy the caulking job looked and began to clean the caulking he got on the middle of the floor. I asked them to be-careful with new paint job I just had done on the house. They got some of their adhesive on the wall on top of scratching my wall from bringing carpet up stairs. I asked Paul to make sure they were careful with the new paint and he didn't seem to see problem with them being not careful. I think the pricing & product wasn't bad. I think the customer service and installers is a weak spot for this company.
I've worked with Borgerson's Arizona Floors for over 5 years now. I keep going back for more! We've done new construction projects together, as well as renovations. They did an excellent job with my granite counter tops, travertine shower, and a lot of hard wood floors. I've found their prices to be the best, and loved that I could purchase sinks through them as well. Robert, the owner, is very responsive, timely, and honest. I will continue to work with them as new projects arise and I definitely recommend them as well.
Arizona Floors is a wonderful and caring company! We are a small, non-profit, school for children with autism spectrum disorders in the Tempe area. After several attempts to get the flooring we needed with other companies, we were blessed enough to stumble upon Arizona Flooring. Dennis was able come out the next day, measure, and get our flooring weeks before anyone else! After visiting our school, Dennis even went out of his way to have the materials donated to us. We look forward to working with Arizona Floors again in the near future! Thank you Arizona Floors, from all of us at St. Dominic Savio Academy!
Worked with Arizona Floors to install new countertops in kitchen and two bathrooms, and backsplash tile in kitchen. Robert and his folks are excellent to work with and I appreciate his attention to customer satisfaction. Workmanship on the installation was outstanding - could not have asked for a better looking result. Installers were prompt, professional and very friendly guys - a joy to have working in our home. Would not hesitate to contact Robert's folks again.

This company put tile throughout my house and they did an amazing job. They began placing the tiles the way I had asked, but I realized I wanted them slanted instead of straight on. The workers were extremely polite and graciously rearranged the tiles for me. They did such an amazing job and I am so pleased with their work. If you speak to the manager and voice any concerns he will personally deal with them. This company is perfect!

After obtaining several estimates, I hired Arizona Floors to redo my kitchen/entry/laundry. They were by far the most responsive, responding quickly to my inquiry and showing up when they promised. They came in about $800 less than other vendors, and included tearing off and disposing of old flooring. Their installation crew was a couple hours late, and I had a hard time getting in touch with anyone. But when they did arrive, they did quick and quality work. When I am ready to do carpeting, Arizona Floors will get my first call.
Our spare bedroom was the only room in the house without tile or hardwood. My husband had hardwood installed in most of the house 6 yrs ago so I wanted to have the same wood in that room. I called many, many local companies and even out of state suppliers to try to find the wood at the lowest price. Turns out it had been discontinued. AZ Floors found a supplier that had what we needed. It was more expensive (of course) than what it was 6 yrs ago. I had 4 different companies come out and do estimates. The other local companies didn't have set prices for labor nor did they respond to me same day or even next day for some. I called AZ Floors and spoke to Leisa W. She gave me an on the phone estimate, called me back within a couple of hours and had found the wood with an estimate and then had it all e-mailed to me by day's end. We were surprised that not only did they give us the best service so far, but we got much more with the purchase than the other guys. Although the wood per sq. ft. was a little more than the other places the overall cost was less AND we got more for our money. For anywhere from $70-250 less we got the wood, installation, glue, new base boards, T square and a 2 year warranty (included) and most importantly in the least amount of time. Other places only offered wood, glue and installation. Let's just say the wood got ordered, delivered, is acclimating under our pool table and will be installed in 2 days. I am still getting call backs and just got a quote e-mailed to me from other local companies who I called on the SAME DAY as Arizona Floors. They are also going to be done with the project in less than a day. I an anxious and excited to see what it looks like after the weekend. Same yourself the stress and time and just call them first.
