Gleason Roofing Solar Panel
I had the same experience as Ron P - and my appointment WAS confirmed. They were supposed to come on August 19. This was confirmed with Tyler, the same guy who looked at my roof and provided the estimate. They did not show. I called both numbers I had for this company, went to voice mail and said voicemail was full. Finally got a hold of Tyler, he said the crew had a problem with their work vehicle and had not reported it. I was very unhappy as I had scheduled painters to come after the roof repairs. Asked to speak with the owner - Tyler said he'd send me Brian's contact info. Nothing. I texted the other phone number asking to speak with the owner. Someone responded to say they would have the office/owner contact me. Nothing. I messaged through Yelp asking to speak with the owner. Nothing. No one even followed up to reschedule the missed appointment.
My best advice to anyone looking at this company?  Move on!  Don't waste your time like I did.

Dylan Electric Solar Panel
We called because we could not get a few electric outlets to work. After hours of trying everything we could think of we called Dylan Electric. Adam walked us through what to look for and what to correct over the phone as he knew it was probably a simple fix. He was right, we were able to get fixed and our kitchen is up and running again. Thanks so much Adam for all your help. We hope we won't need anything in the future, but if we do, we will be calling you!!!

Nation Sun Solar Panel
I was on the fence about getting solar until I called Nation Sun. They were great about explaining everything and offered reassurance about the benefits of solar. They answered all of my numerous questions. Summer is coming. My house is going to make it look like winter is coming!

Sun Town Solar Solar Panel
James McCormick from Suntown solar came out to give us an estimate on our panels. Hes so down to earth and brutally honest. I love that. He was so straight up about every step of the process.  We signed got approved and guess what. Covid hit hard. Everything was at a stand still for weeks. He fought tooth and nail. I swear the man has friends in high places to get the city and electric company to get it finish on time. He even offered to make the first payment for us if it wasnt done in time frame that was given.  What!! How amazing is that? I couldnt recommend anyone else for the job. I'm loving my panels and my low electric bill.
Thank you so much James.

Az Clean Solar Solar Panel
These guys did an amazing job!
We recently moved to the area and inherited an inundation of pigeons and their nests, all camped out under the solar panels.
We made an appointment for AZ Clean Solar to come out, clean underneath the solar panels and the solar panel glass.
We also had bird barriers "netting" installed around all of the panels.
Erick and another guy came out right on time, explained what they were going to do, and began working.
It took them roughly 6 hours to get everything done, and I'm thoroughly impressed with their work!
Bird barriers are up, solar panel glass is crystal clear and everything that had dropped to the ground while they were spraying, they cleaned up nicely!
Great job, guys and thank you!
Highly recommended!

Simply Solar Solar Panel
I will admit, I have always been hesitant to go Solar. Mainly because my husband and I had been approached over 10 times from December when we moved into our new home in Surprise until June about Solar Panels. Sales guys would come by constantly, give me their sales pitch, and expect me to sign on the spot. Some were cocky and some didn't know what the heck they were talking about. No one every provided us a brochure or showed us what we would save, just told us we should go Solar blah blah. Until one day, my husband was in his parents neighborhood and met Jesus.

He set something up, even though I was reluctant and Jesus came by.

From the moment Jesus walked in until the moment he left, he was extremely professional. it was so refreshing to have someone try and get to know us before selling us.Aftwr some small talk, he immediately pulled out a one pager with a bunch of information as well as showing us what others in our area have saved. He had us access our APS account,  typed some stuff in his computer and then physically showed us what we would save.

He gave us time to consider and checked in once in a while. I was so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge that I decided we should go solar.

Since we decided,  Jesus has come over to show us plans, come over when the design needed changed and has kept in touch throughout the entire process. he continues to answer all my questions and is always just a phone call away.

Jesus and his great customer service is one of the main reasons we decided to go solar. Sure it saves us money but having someone who knows so much and is so kind, truly made a difference.

I give Simply.Solar 10 stars and would recommend their company to anyone and everyone who wants to go solar. they know their stuff and make you feel comfortable making the decision.

Thanks to Jesus and this amazing company!

Elevation Solar Panel
The WORST customer service we have ever experienced.  Buyer's remorse doesn't begin to describe the feeling we feel having signed on to use a company's product/equipment when that company clearly doesn't care about us.

We signed our contract in July 2019, made our first payment in December 2019, but didn't have all our equipment installed and working properly until March 2020.  During this time, there were times when we had to reach out to them to spur activity/progress on our inspections or installation.  We also sent multiple emails that were either never responded to or were not responded to for two weeks or more.

A few months ago we connected with two different Customer Service Specialists than had previously helped us to try to get answers to questions we never received a response to.  Unfortunately, our customer service experience hasn't been any better with these two specialists.  On 9/9 we emailed them to report an issue with our equipment and followed up with them on 9/20. Today's 10/3 and still no response.  In the meantime, our equipment isn't functioning properly and there's no hope of getting it resolved any time soon - again.

In addition, we were told there was a promotion going on if we signed up during July 2019.  We've asked about these items multiple times, but as of October 2020, we haven't received them.  They also failed to let us know about pigeon protection, which we had an exterminator tell us earlier this week we should have been offered and would now have to pay $2300 to resolve.

Ridge Roofing Solar Panel
I'm a veteran, have multiple deployments under my belt. When I deal with businesses and people, there's a reciprocity of trust. When you break trust, there are consequences.
When selling a house while living out of state, Ridge Roofing was recommended for roof repairs. Garrett was professional, and came in at the cheapest of three bids, so we chose him.
The buyer's agent did their final walk-thru the day after the roofing work was to be finished. That morning I called Garrett for the invoice and to pay. He said he had to send a couple of guys out that morning to finish some work, but it'd be quick.
That night my agent emailed that during walk-thru, the buyer's agent saw roofers fixing damage to the patio roof and we risk missing the closing date based on the depth of repair. They sent an addendum addressing this risk. One part of the email read, "Hunter McBride with Ridge Roofing happened to be on site cleaning up some debris that had been left behind. We pointed out to him that it looked like one of the roof repairmen had stepped through the ceiling. He confirmed this, and said his company would take care of it.. He took a paint chip with him to match the paint..."
Next morning, I texted Garrett. Here's the verbatim exchange.
Me: Hi Garrett, the buyers did a walk thru of the house yesterday and saw a hole in the patio roof. They're asking 2 questions that I hope to relay answers back to them:
- Are you folks going to be able to do the repairs to the hole?
- Can we get an estimated time of completion for the work, ideally with photos of the repaired area?
Thanks kindly, sir.
Garrett: Are they wanting us to cover it? I have a drywall guy I can refer and could get it done pretty fast. It was a cracked seen in the drywall from having extra weight in the patio. The repair tech didn't do anything wrong the seem just cracked.
Piet: Hi Garrett, please check email. Hunter McBride owned up to the damage and said Ridge Roofing was handling these repairs (specifically the photo you sent), and Hunter even took a paint chip along to match paint. That info came from the buyer's agent. Has something changed since? Closing date is scheduled for tomorrow.
Garrett: If it was something our repair tech did to cause the damage we would cover it no questions. But that is not the case in this situation. We would gladly refer the drywall guy we use. But a drywall seem separating just from being on the roof, which he had too do is not our fault.
"Ok. I told the guy representing the buyer that if our guy fell through and caused that we would cover it. But that wasn't the case obviously" - this is what I got from Hunter
Photos taken the month prior show the patio ceiling in good shape. I'd hope so; we replaced it in 2015.
The buyer's inspector checked it on 3/14. He identified a number of items, to include patio roof, and he took a lot of photos of all faults. The drywall was fine.
Aside from Garrett's team, nobody was on the patio roof. Yet the day after work was finished, the drywall had a man-sized hole punched through. Garrett says his people didn't cause it. So sometime between the inspection, and my exchange with Garrett, the hole in the patio roof mysteriously appeared. It's mysterious because Hunter McBride took responsibility for the damage to the buyer's agent; but not even 12 hours later, Garrett stated that it wasn't the company's fault, that the drywall seam "just cracked".
So no, I don't recommend Ridge Roofing. They're liars, unethical, irresponsible, clutzy, and don't own up to their mistakes. Their lack of ethics jeopardized my closing on the house.
They claim they're licensed & bonded. To avoid getting sued, check their documents in case one of their clowns falls through your roof, too. Or better, find a different contractor-one with more scruples and fortitude.
Speaking of scruples, check Google reviews for a bogus review Hunter McBride left for his own employer

Fusion Power Solar Panel
If their door to door sales reps are any indication of character of this company I'd be very Leary. At 3PM today two reps knocked on my door. I have a very obvious NO SOLICITING sign right on my door. I open the door say hello and ask them to respect my wishes to not be bothered. "We aren't selling anything" is the response I get. So we continue the back and forth and after about 30 seconds one of the guys starts swearing at me. Four letter words that's start with F. This is all happening right on my front porch, yelling at me because I don't want whatever they're selling. This continues for a few more and after they yelled that I should "Go down to the elementary school and gets some girls"  and went inside and called the police. Yes it got that bad. I actually called the police on them. I called the company as well but, as you might expect, I've gotten no response. Frankly after reading all the other posts about this company I'll be shocked if I do. I'm wondering if some media exposure would help....

Phoenix Solar Specialists Solar Panel
Phoenix Solar Specialists did the installation of my solar panels.  They were totally professional, and best of all, cleaned up after themselves so you wouldn't know they were there unless you saw the solar system on your roof!  You don't often get the owner's attention, but Frances called me personally to make sure everything was as it should be.  This company is top-notch, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a job well done!

Vision Solar Solar Panel
This company is horrible. I paid them in cash for my solar system 3 months ago. They were supposed to upgrade my panel so we can get the solar started, but they won't. I call them 2-3 times a week and ask them to schedule me. They always tell me they'll call me the same day or the next day or the next. They never do.

I'm at my wit's end. Please find another company to install your solar. I would never want anyone to have their lives disrupted the way I have. I see the CEO, Jon Seibert, is a lifetime member of Entrepreneur Of The Year. Obviously, that is fake too. I'd be interested in organizing a class action lawsuit with other unhappy customers since there are so many. I've been too patient.

Freedom Forever Solar Panel
Stay away from these people.

My experience is nothing but bad, and that's an understatement.

It took many months to get my system installed and then turned on.
The side of my house has more boxes than an Amazon truck (slightly exagerated).
Production isn't enough to power my house for the year.  I'm writing checks to APS (my power company) from December until March with no solar check at the end of the year to offset those payments.

My salesman wrote down a guaranteed annual production number in front of me.  At no time do I remember that he told me the real number guaranteed was 85% of that number.  I mean what are these people doing.

I believe it's called bait and switch and if it's not illegal it should be.  It's underhanded and misleading.  To write down a number in front of the customer and then change it to 85% of that number in the fine print is just wrong.

I'm sorry I ever recommended this company to anyone.

Buyer Beware!
