It was a nightmare to say the least to get this solar job done!!
Panels were put up, on a somewhat timely basis, BUT THAT WAS IT!!!
It took 8 months for the project to be up and running. And, that was with NUMEROUS phones calls WEEKLY!!
IF I were to details all my complaints, which IS STILL on going, I'd be typing all day.
To get  refunds, (which I have been told numerous times I'd receive), for the months of solar I paid for, but did have yet, HAD NOT HAPPENED. To get the $500 sign on bonus I was told I'd receive, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED!!
I am STILL calling WEEKLY, and will continue calling until I am paid. As of now, I am still constantly advise, "it's been approved, messages have been sent to accounting, just waiting for accounting". Where the heck is accounting!!
Run, don't hide, if Vision Solar comes a knocking, or push that disconnect butyon on your phone.
Also, check with APS as well before signing for solar. You will be told by solar companies, your APS bill will only he approximately $10.  THIS IS FALSE as well.​

The roofing job was never completed, our skylight is still shoved halfway crooked into our roof. The roofing crew shifted the ac unit away from the duct, they left the dumpster in our driveway for 3 months and still left supplies behind. They threw the satellite dish off of the roof and left it connected to the cable. Then the install crew came out pretty quick to get the panels on our roof even though the roofing job did not meet our standards or anyone else's. It took them almost a YEAR to get the breaker installed and the plans over to our local power company. After it was hooked up I thought our  power bill wasn't going down. Our power company came out because our system wasn't talking to theirs and we found the breaker flipped. We turned it back on, and the rep from the power company showed me what to look for and how it works. We never got access to the app that lets us monitor the Solar usage, we keep being told they are behind and working on it. I went out to check the system again and found the meter display blinking like it had a short in it. I flipped the breaker off and back on and could hear the electric arc behind the panel. I have emailed their concierge and called them twice. They never emailed back, and the rep that I finally got on the phone after holding for 30 minutes said he would have the technicians call me to schedule a time when they could come out. I told him sooner would be good since I felt the electric arcing behind the panel was probably a fire hazard, and we STILL haven't heard anything from them. We have been paying into the loan for this system for almost 2 years and have not had it working but MAYBE a month since it was installed. Do not use this company and I suggest doing your research before purchasing from anyone going door to door. I want my money back and they can come get their crap off of my house.

I can't believe I have to give them 1 star at all!this company sucks! Their panels are junk!and there customer service is beyond crap!I would love to be involved in a class action lawsuit !

This company is horrible. I paid them in cash for my solar system 3 months ago. They were supposed to upgrade my panel so we can get the solar started, but they won't. I call them 2-3 times a week and ask them to schedule me. They always tell me they'll call me the same day or the next day or the next. They never do.

I'm at my wit's end. Please find another company to install your solar. I would never want anyone to have their lives disrupted the way I have. I see the CEO, Jon Seibert, is a lifetime member of Entrepreneur Of The Year. Obviously, that is fake too. I'd be interested in organizing a class action lawsuit with other unhappy customers since there are so many. I've been too patient.

Terrible quality assurance!  Had a rep, Rylan, come give me a quote and the visit was great, but the quality assurance call at the end was the worst!  The phone rep, Coby, told the rep at my house, over speaker phone, to "Get out of my house and told me not to waste their time anymore if I'm not really interested in getting solar panels".  Wow!  I was just wanting a quote to compare to others and see if it would save me money and their quote didn't even save me money.  So, why would I go with a company that doesn't save me money and has rude employees?  A nice thing to say at the end of a quality assurance call would be "Thank you for considering our company, mame.  Have a great day!"  Then I might call back after my husband and I have reviewed your quote.  Employees should be respectful if I buy their product or not.  You lost a customer you didn't even have.

This happened about a year ago.

I got a call offering a free 15 min evaluation and a free estimate that was good for a year.  45min after the guy arrived he was asking for SS# and a signature for a quote with "one week to decide"  My wife was home and I was at work, over speaker phone I told him that I wasn't giving him the info and we were not signing anything and I asked for a quote.  20min later he was still there and still hadn't provided the quote.  I had my wife stay on the line while the guy made excuses and kept telling us that he needed our SS to see what "programs" we were eligible for.  He finally admitted it was a credit check for a loan.  I told him to assume we had great credit and leave us the details and started home from work.  He gave us a BS line about people getting their system, making one payment and then flipping the house for a $30k profit.   Mind you the new owner has to pick up the $70k plus tab for the system. this is a complete fabrication.  I got home and he finally quoted us a monthly fee for the "utility agreement" which was only a few dollars under our average bill.  Of course they projected huge increases in electricity prices.  to try to make it seem more palatable.  At the two hour mark he asked me to talk to his supervisor for "quality assurance"  The guy asked a couple of questions which he kept repeating until I answered "Yes" and then went into a sales pitch.  I told him that he was wasting both of our time but he kept going, and I walked away.  I heard him say "Damn" when he was told I left.  The salesman then tried guilting me over wasting their time.  I didn't ask for this, they offered.  I opened the door and told him to leave and he said "so you just scheduled this to say 'no"" and said something about just wanting to save us money.  He then told me to "f@ck off" after he stepped outside.  I informed him he was trespassing and to keep going.

Beware of local calls setting you up for a solar company visit on the pretext that there is an energy mandate requiring utilities to beef up their renewable energy by 35%. They claim that installation costs will be waived. That's not true at all. Vision Solar was sent out to my house on 2 different occasions this year and it was tough to get them to leave my house. They analyze your roof then share the costs. In both instances, they started at about 50K and then quickly backpedaled to get my business at whatever cost, including matching the lowest offer I'd gotten through EnergySage. So beware, talk of "energy mandate" and "waiving installation costs" are just gimmicks to get their foot in the door.

After an hour sales pitch I wasn't ready to sign a contract. The two sales people didn't want to stop trying to convince me. I had other things I needed to do and asked them to leave. They refused and called someone from the company who wanted to question me. I told him I wasn't interested and finally asked him to hang and the other people to leave. Finally I had to dial 911 to get rid of them. The person on the phone was verbally abusive as well. Later I checked with the Better Business Bureau and found out that Vision Solar has an F rating. AVOID this company!!!

These people scammed my grandma! They called her out of the blue and convinced her to buy solar through them. She went along with it! She's too sweet for her own good.

They installed it within a couple weeks but have not connected it to the grid, so it's not actually being used, and "will call her when it's time to connect it." They didn't go through the electric company or get any permits.

She didn't even know what the contract says. She's a widow in her mid-80s on a fixed income and doesn't even know how much the system costs, if she bought it or leased it, or any of the details about the size of the system. Do not do business with this company!

Elevation Solar review:

A very nice sales rep came to the my house to give me a quote. His name was Khaled, he is an excellent young professional and knows his financial numbers and has an accounting background. We looked at the price of solar, lease versus buy, and I told him we were just getting quotes and we can't make any decisions today.
When he called his office, A person tried to be friendly, but when I was not going to make a decision, Ders (was his name). He got very rude!
I've owned a company for 13 years that got closed down and I would hire Khalid, but I would never do business with any company that uses this other guy.
Who the heck wants to have pressure sales in the middle of a pandemic!

Not very quick to proceed.  Waiting on inspection from the city for way to long. Honestly feel like the installed on the roof and abandoned the job.  Panels installed all over my roof. No pattern or design. Just a bunch of panels here and there across the roof.  They broke a bunch of my tiles on my roof and only threw caulking on one they broke.  Customer service can do nothing for you if they even do directly answer your question in general.  I also found out that I am paying almost a dollar more per watt than anyone in my neighborhood.     Let me help you all out there.  A lot of companies are going to try to go off of your average bill and charge you that way.  "See, we saved you 20$!" But that is not how solar works. It is the same as buying a car.  You don't pay for a new car based off the cost of your old car.  Do you understand what I am saying.  These panels cost a finite amount.  The pricing should not fluctuate house to house but that is what they try to do.  Just tell me exactly how much each panal and inverter costs and how much install is.  I will check and see if that is average in my zip code for install prices. Bam you have an exact price for a system.  Do not sign if they do not show you how much each item costs.  

OH and one more little thing.  They signed me up for 31 panels. They only installed 30. Meaning I no longer have the system they sold me, but is my price lowered? NOPE!!!!  How is that possible. These guys are a joke.  They will rob you, break your roof, and also not do anything after they get something on your roof.  That is when they get paid and can walk away.  So do not sign anything until the city comes to inspect.  It is not installed until it is inspected. These guys are a scam and they will be out of business in less than 3years so I won't even be able to sue them.

This is the absolute worst solar co.ever. I have had their panels up for 6 MONTHS  now and still am not connected. My ppw was filed incorrectly,  I got someone else's permits on my elec.box,no response from anyone except 1 person, who is no longer responding. Haywood promised me a 600.00$ check and I've never seen that either.  Time for legal action.what a headache,nightmare, loss of savings cuz no service!! Sales girl lied her teeth off to get a sale.  Despicable.  Don't even consider these worthless people. It tools months for them to out on the pest protector I was told comes with it-by the lying salesgirl. Extremely negative review for this company

The gentlemen stopped my husband on a walk with our dogs in our neighborhood and asked if he could stop by later to talk to him about solar.  My husband responded and said no.  They continued to talk to my husband about "grandfathering" in for solar.  So, my husband had to leave for a meeting and they asked if the sales person could stop by.  My husband responded, "sure, whatever".  So, around 6:00 p.m. the young salesperson, Ryland, came by.  No brochures, no direct information, just a t-shirt that said he worked for Vision Solar, and they just wanted our information.  We listened for a while, and he had a lot of stories and sales tactics to prolong the sales pitch as he was suppose to be waiting for his company to give him a quote.  An hour goes by and we have told him we are not interested at least 6 times.  He still would not leave.  We told him he should work for a different company, because the only way he gets paid is if his company gives us a quote.  He even said he has had guns pulled on him before as he is waiting for his company to respond to him.  We finally asked him to leave one more time, and he said he needed to call his company so we could talk to them about his visit.  The salesperson handed my husband his phone. We told "Brian" we were not interested and have asked his salesperson to leave many times and he wouldn't leave.  Then our salesperson started yelling at my husband to give him his phone back, and my husband walked outside, and Brian told him to give the "f-ing" phone back.  We got him to leave by walking outside with his phone.  Absolutely the worst scenario we could image.  All for them to come back with a quote to save us $60 per month.  No thank you!

Terrible company to work for. They make their employees burn customers who don't buy on the first visit. Ultimately closing the idea of a future sale with that customer. After I left, they did not pay me for any of the jobs I sold. The district manager, Jayson, is a loud, angry, and irresponsible leader. The turn over rate for sales agents was like a revolving door. I was the senior sales agent after only a month of working there. The office format is like being in a locker room
No regard for others and very explicit. They wouldn't tell you your schedule until the night before and would make you drive over 2 hours for an appointment. And they expected you to always be on call. Never able to have a life outside of work. Being on the road at least 72 hours a week. They also said they didn't work Sundays, unless the agent scheduled their own appointment, and they forced agents to come into the office for more training on Sunday mornings, which was mandatory. Trust me, there are plenty of good solar companies in Arizona, this is not one of them.

HORRIBLE COMPANY ! the sales rep was great, the hole experience was great, until the panels where put on the roof. they were not installed correctly . some panels left loose, the flashing under the mount brackets where not only loose but NO SEALANT of any kind was used just flashing and a loose bolt. I am not a roofer so i called and PAYED a licensed roofer to inspect the roof, he agreed with me. i called and presented my case to lou at vision solar. he agreed with me... he promised me follow up after follow up trying to get the problem corrected. HE NEVER called me back i continued to call him everyday for a week asking for a follow up. we have rain and winds that have now began to peel up the shingles that where not secured back down after the flashing was installed. he now refuses to talk to me, um what?.. my roof, my house, somehow not his problem... GET A LAWYER these people are a joke, the company is a joke.
