EOS Energy Solutions Solar Panel
Kelly at EOS was so easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. I ended up going with them for the higher efficiency panels I'd wanted for our current system. They made the whole process so easy. After looking around for fair price and the ability to install quickly; they came up with awesome pricing and actually listen to me. No one tried to BS me into more than I needed or wanted. They spent time answering my questions, and never talked over my head (so refreshing). They got me installed within two weeks of first contact! The new panels look great and you can tell the installer Chris loves what he does. Solar has saved me thousands and with these new added panels, I'm saving even more. Bye-bye APS, and thank you EOS! You're the best and I'm surly going to be sending everyone I know your way.

GoGreen Daylight Systems Solar Panel
The assignment was challenging, as we were about to have solar panels installed over much of the roof, limiting the available areas for the exterior apertures of the 3 solar tubes, which had long runs to the peak of the roof and required extensions to reach both ends. Careful planning was required before the solar installation, and again afterward to confirm the final placements.  Joshua the proprietor and the Mike the installer are a good team and were very thorough in their analysis of the situation, resulting in a highly satisfactory improvement of the lighting of our home.  Cost was reasonable (I shopped extensively), and the workmanship was excellent.  It's amazing to have sunlight pouring into what used to be the darkest parts of our house!

SunStainable Energy Solutions Solar Panel
Fully willing to educate and I did not experience high-pressure sales. They were more interested in making me understand the benefits of going with their company than pressuring me to buy to make a sale.

Skywells Solar Energy Solar Panel
After buying our new home, wife and I decided to get solar. We talked to a few different solar companies and decided to go with Skywells not only because of their cost but also because of Nik Shehaj. He was the only sales rep that we had talked to that listened to our needs and didn't try to sell us something that we didn't want or need. We feel he sold us the best quality products for the best price and met all our our expectations while other companies were trying to sell us less efficient panels for the same price. He designed the system to meet our requirements and requests and never once tried to tell us what was best for us as so many other sales reps did. It was a pleasure to deal with him and never felt like we were left out of the loop on what was going on. His customer service skills and care are top notch.

They came out and gave a very reasonable quote. My chandelier was hung the next day. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. I was extremely happy with the service they provided and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.  Jack was a pleasure to work with.

One Way Electric Solar Panel
Four light fixtures replaced (not broken), 4 LED bulbs and 1 and a half hours labor, and was charged $550! Is that appropriate??? When I called Kevin for an explanation, he became very defensive and kept repeating that I agreed to pay $400 for 3 fixtures to be installed. When I explained that I thought it was much more involved than it was (each fixture took all but 15 minutes to install) he became even more defensive! He essentially charged me $550 for what a handyman could have done for $40/hr. And that was after waiting almost 2 weeks for them to give me an appointment?Would stay clear away from these thieves! I will apologize if my shock is unwarranted.

Blue Plumbing Solar Panel
Blue Plumbing, LLC is my go-to Plumber from here on out. I am very, very, pleased with their work! They are very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Recently, while having some foundation work done on my house, a gas line that had been installed without a permit (not to code) was damaged. Southwest Gas came and disconnected the line and I was informed that it could not be repaired because of the code violation. It had to be completely replaced. The estimate I received from Blue Plumbing was reasonable given the work needed. I obtained a permit from the city and work began. They were absolute sticklers for making sure that the installation was done properly so there would be no issues when the city came for the inspection. I particularly appreciate that the installation was done in a manner that accommodated the quirks of my old house. They installed a sleeve under my perimeter wall so the pipe could pass through. A tracer wire was placed from the meter to where the pipe enters the kitchen (allows for utility detection since the gas pipe is plastic). At the end, after a layer of dirt was put into the trench, yellow caution tape was laid for the length of the trench as a precaution for future digging, and then the rest of the trench was filled in. When a portion of my water line had to be removed temporarily to allow the gas pipe to be laid, the work done to reinstall the copper pipe was far superior to the work done for the original water line installation. When the job was done, they cleaned everything up, hosed down the driveway and the porch and smoothed out the dirt. Everything was left in order. The only real snags with this project did not apply to Blue Plumbing and involved the city inspector not making it on the scheduled day, and waiting on the phone for an hour with Southwest Gas to schedule the reconnection. If you need gas or water plumbing work done, I highly recommend this company.

Zenernet Solar Solar Panel
TL;DR: It took over a year to get my solar panel system installed and activated, and it only got completed that quickly because I stepped in and managed the project myself when Zenernet wouldn't.

I signed a contract with Zenernet for a solar panel installation in August of 2021, based on fantastic reviews for customer service and being rated as one of the best solar companies to work with. Additionally, Zenernet offered Tier 1 panels. We weren't planning to finance the system, so there were no issues with banks, etc. Our original estimated installation date was the week of November 22, 2021.

After signing the contract with Zenernet and approving the final design, we were waiting for the permit to install the system from the city. It was taking a long time and our estimated install date came and passed. I had a Zenernet project manager calling me weekly to give me an update that amounted to "still waiting for the permit" for about 5 or 6 weeks until I decided to investigate myself. A five minute google search brought me to my city's permit website. I looked it up and the project permit was rejected by the city almost immediately after Zenernet filed it due to it being filed under the wrong category (it was filed under "electrical" instead of "solar"). I called Zenernet to tell them about the issue and they said that they had already fixed it and re-filed the application but I didn't see that on the permitting website. I looked a few hours after talking to Zenernet, and what do you know, there was a brand new application filed under the correct category. Oh well.

Several weeks and months passed with various reasons for not making any progress. I got an email from Zenernet saying that I was being assigned a single project manager to be my single point of contact as several customers had complained about having to communicate with multiple contacts at Zenernet. I replied to the email, cc'ing my project manager, and got an auto reply email from them basically saying that they're too busy and will get back to me whenever they have time. I continued to get passed around from one rep to another for months until finally Zenernet informed me that the installer that they hired for my project indicated that I needed to do some landscaping work in front of where the inverter panel would be located, but they didn't have any information about what exactly needed to be done. We went back and forth on this for weeks until I asked to talk to the installer myself and was informed that the installer wasn't responding to requests for info from Zenernet. I told Zenernet that it appeared that the installer might need to be replaced if they won't respond to their requests and won't tell us what landscaping work needed done.

Several weeks passed again and finally Zenernet informed me that they found an alternate installer who was more responsive. The new installer was on the ball and found issues with Zenernet's system drawings, etc and fixed their paperwork, essentially without being paid. The new installer ultimately fixed Zenernet's system plans, city permit application and submitted an application for interconnection with the electric grid. Meanwhile, Zenernet seemed to completely give up on managing the project. I heard nothing from them for weeks on end and my messages would often go unanswered or take weeks to get a response. The new installer got all the paperwork in order and (finally) scheduled an installation date (scheduled for early August 2022). When the installer went to Zenernet's warehouse to pick up all of the equipment the day before the installation, no one was there to get them the gear. They spent the entire morning and most of the afternoon just sitting there waiting for their equipment. They tried calling my project manager and the Zenernet CEO with no response. I did the same when the installer called me and told me what was happening and that they might need to reschedule. I also called every contact I had at Zenernet, including emailing the CEO and calling both his office and cell. Someone finally got them the equipment at the very end of the workday.

We got the panels installed in early August 2022 and all that was left was to get connected to the grid. Meanwhile, Zenernet was emailing me "updates" about my project that were months old. I kept replying that the panels were installed and if they wanted to be helpful, they could work on getting our application for electrical grid connection approved. I never got a reply to that. I tracked down our interconnection application and walked it through the process myself and got connected. Later, I got another "update" from Zenernet and I told them the project was done but they didn't respond. Once they called the installer and realized they were done, they sent me the invoice for the final payment, saying they wouldn't help with the interconnection until I made the final payment. Continued in attached photo.

Custom Solar Installs Off Grid Specialist Solar Panel
RUN from this company.  Glenn Williams is a fraud and lacks even a shred of integrity.  Glenn sold me an off grid solar system that was inadequate per his own engineer.  The Engineer told me that Glenn's system would ruin my brand new HVAC unit!    Glenn even admitted to me that he did not do his own due diligence before he sold it to me, but that he would not take it back even though the system hadn't been used.  Makes me wonder if the batteries Glenn sold me were outdated and he knew it.   Glenn proceeded to call me names when I would try and reason with him.  I have been flexible with offering a payment program.  People like this shouldn't be allowed to hang a shingle on their door.  Beware, he writes his own positive reviews.

Emergent Solar Solutions Solar Panel
Emergent is a sales company for solar.  Another company (Harmon Solar) does the installation.

After signing up, having a credit check, having a roof inspection, having holes cut in my ceiling, and holes patched, and changing my APS electric to a regular plan from a savings plan....Emergent has been silent for months.

No response from the salesman or anyone else at the company.  Learned they just sent my contract over to the installer (Harmon Solar),  3 months later.

Guess they are spreading out the contracts to get steady pay, and to hell with the customer.

Meanwhile, I received THE HIGHEST FALL ELECTRIC BILLS from APS I've ever had.
