Greg at Scottsdale Solar was great. All work was completed exactly as he said it would be and in the time frame he specified. My monthly saving are even slightly better than expected.

Worked with Brad. They were great. Fixed my roof tiles at a very affordable price and they were even able to do it when I wasn't home, which made it really easy.

From sales to install I had a great experience with sun valley. They educated me on why I need a demand manager to stop peak demand pricing from srp and sold me a 4kw system to curb peak demand etc. the demand manager let me control demand for each month and informed me that water heater is pretty costly in energy in addition to ac. I will use them again to install more panels and maybe a battery if they get cheaper. Great prices great experience !

Initial steps of evaluating and sales went more smoothly than I could have reasonably expected. Greg had honest answers to all questions and suggested a few questions that had not occurred to me. No overly-aggressive or unscrupulous salesmanship, just honest assessments of the pros and cons of solar installation. Strongly recommend this company.

Had to sue Phelps Solar Specialists due to the unworkable system that they refused to fix, and to massive damage to my home.  Phelps Solar, when they are not lying and had to disclose their work, system and damage to the legal system THEN finally admitted the truth and gave me $8,500 to settle.  The case went thru superior court, is public record, and I have NO gag order stopping me for telling everyone and anyone the truth!  I have posted the check THEY paid ME to the site.... and anyone is welcome to contact me @ godblessvicki at gmail, if you want more info about this company, and their work, and what can and did go wrong.  The court record is public, so go to the superior court and put in Phelps Solar Specialists and you will get the case....Here is a copy of the case name / number:

In my opinion and my my experience they are not a "nice" local family, who treats you well and honorably.... they did everything wrong to my home and to me, and really behaved so poorly that I was FORCED to take them to court... who would want to go thru that hassle to fix an issue that you paid 6K for?  If I could go back, I would NEVER have allowed them put this horrible product on my roof in a way that it does not work as promised, or ever dealt with this company.  

LOOK AT THE ATTACHED SETTLEMENT CHECK.... AND NO GAG ORDER (as much as they tried) BECAUSE THEY DID HARM ME, MY HOME, AND MY FINANCES.

If you are looking to get solar on your home, Simple Solar is the company to go with. Scott and his team throughly explained what was entailed during the entire process in a way even I could understand. We didn't think we would be able to get Solar where we live, but Simple Solar made it happen! Just in time to run all those Christmas lights without worry!

My system was installed in March 2010 and has been going strong ever since.  Peter and his team did a first class installation and took the time to answer all my questions.  The instructions that came with the unit include pictures and are easy to understand.  With minimal and simple maintenance per the instructions I have enjoyed all the hot water my family needs with significant savings every year.

I am a past leaser of Sunrun. I was told there would be no problems when it came time to sell my home. This was not the case with my account. The transfer of the sunrun held up our escrow. The transfer agent in charge of our account was Jeremy Busick. He was horrible. Never responded to my voice mails or e-mails.

I hate leaving back reviews but this one was a bit disappointing. 2 cancellations on back to back Fridays. They were good about calling the day prior and the morning of respectively. I was told family emergency for the first Friday and for the second Friday  technicians were both sick.  I know stuff happens but back to back cancellations is disappointing.  They haven't given me a follow up appointment.

I received an unsolicited call from a rep who is booking appointments on behalf of Erus Energy. She had my name and knew I was interested in solar. She incorrectly stated twice that SRP and later APS referred them to call me. (This is untrue.) I never signed up or opted in for any calls. The displayed Caller ID was 623-600-7182. Upon asking for clarification for the nature of the call, the rep provided an invalid phone number 855-200-6890. Upon Googling, it is a robocall number used with hundreds of complaints.

Admittedly, I have been in the market for solar. I spoke to two companies. I suspect one of them sold my info as a lead to Erus Energy.

UPDATE: I've looked at my voicemail, and I believe my information was sold or stolen from Sunrun by an unethical sales rep. Only after the voicemail messages stopped, the phone call from Erus began. Very shady practice. Buyer beware!
