Servpro was so helpful! They showed up in the middle of the night and helped take out all the water. They kept me updated on the progress through out. In every industry, there is one company that shines as a leader in innovation, dedication,  ethics and customer care.  Based on my experience in working with Van, John and the crew at Disaster Services, I can truthfully say that they are the shining star of the disaster recovery industry.  

One week prior to putting my house for sale, I had a leak behind the refrigerator which caused damage to my property as well as the condominium below me.   I reached out to a number of companies and they all had minimum charges exceeding thousands of dollars (exorbitant) and they all wanted to charge me just to come on site to provide me an estimate.   As I was paying for the repairs out of pocket, I did not have a significant budget and I wanted a fair and honest estimate.

I spoke to Van on a Sunday and he offered to dispatch his crew on site immediately.  He was accompanied by one of his lead technicians, John. They both impressed me with their knowledge and willingness to do everything within their power to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
As an aside, John is a super-star tech and holds 60+ industry certifications.

The crew did phenomenal work and was very meticulous. They went the 'extra mile' and made several trips to my home to monitor the progress and add additional machinery, as required.

I can truthfully say that Disaster Services is the utmost professional organization and saved the day!

I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of this service.

In the midst of this pandemic, we suffered leakage in our bathroom twice. And twice, restore master was there to do their job. I cannot tell you how much the owner has helped us. First, he went with my schedule. I am a frontliner and I sleep in the day, they accommodated that. Secondly, we the guys that work for him were so neat that they cleaned after themselves. More importantly, Nasur put up with my questioning and inquiries throughout the process. For someone who deals with patients and family members that ask a lot of question, I knew Nasur did a great job in answering mine. Their pricing is very competitive and he works around your budget. I also appreciate that he comes to your house himself to assess the issue first then let his employees do the job later. This shows his dedication and committed with his own company. Furthermore, his advice in regards to other stuff such as what other companies to use as carpenters, plumbers, and other utility guys is invaluable!

Not to mention, I searched for two days before setting with Nesur. Other guy wanted to rip off my entire wall for a small spot of leakage. Nesur thought that was obviously adding more bills for them. Another wanted to rip off my insurance. Nesur also knew that was a rip off. I tell you, this guy knows all the tricks that others bestow to consumers who are in dire stress. That is why I trust him, that is why I choose their company.

Here is my advice, is you need restoration and any kind of water damage call him! Tell him that this review has made you connect to him! I would put my google reviewer reputation in line with this review. I stand firm that they are the best on what they do.

Final thoughts, do not hesitate on calling them for any problem. Ask for Nesur, he usually answers his phone call. Leave a voicemail. Call him first before you even think about calling the other guys. I just saved you headaches and ALOT of money by recommending this guys!

P.S. I fairly make reviews now because of time constraints and ofcourse since its saturated now, but I want to make sure they get the rating they deserve. So here a review from a former four year elite.

This company has taken excellent care of my home and our rental properties. The dogs who lived with our last tenants ruined the carpet. Urine everywhere and even a few spots where they had clearly dug or chewed holes in the carpet. Dave came over with a blacklight and urine treated the entire house at night. His crew was then there for several hours the next day. The carpet looked and smelled new again. Thanks.

We had water damage from our upstairs bathtub into our kitchen ceiling and walls. Patterson was amazing working with us and insurance making sure the process went as smooth as possible and remained in the parameters of the insurance estimate.  They even had even had an issue with our supervisor not responding to us mid repairs for days and they escalated the issue and immediately reassigned to another supervisor who went above and beyond to take care of us ASAP.  I was shocked with how well they handled this issue as it certainly was a nail in the coffin and I was holding the hammer ready to swing.  They gained all my future business, not only based on the amazing repair job they did, but based on how management handled the employment issue internally to not disrupt the quality of customer service they pride themselves in.

Sharon Godwin is remarkably professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. As an Indoor Air Quality duct cleaning company we have worked with her for years and had nothing but the best of experiences.

In Aug 2022, my home in Gilbert was hit by a giant monsoon storm that overwhelmed my sump pump and flooded 80% of my basement.  I called Andy's team and Andy himself came to my house after-hours to measure and photograph the damage...he actually spent 3 hours ensuring an accurate, complete estimate was prepared to submit to the insurance company... outlined in a format exactly how the insurance company claims department requires!  

This is so HUGE...because, the insurance company's initial review of Bright Home Construction's estimate was my final approved claim amount...when I spoke to the insurance claim's manager she said, and I quote, I don't see anything on here that would be an issue covering.  

More so, even if there was, Bright Home Construction actually is one of the few rehab/renovation construction companies I know that works directly with Insurance companies on behalf of the homeowner; negotiating, explaining, and articulating the proper claim amount and coverage is received by the homeowner.  

All in all, it was less than 20-days from when claim was approved to project completion...and they made it a point to complete before my daughter's 11-birthday party!!!

Such a nightmare.  First off he was the most irresponsible, unreliable, hot head I have ever met.  He said he would be here on the job and was never here. Made appointments he didn't keep and if he did he would show up late. He never came to check on the job and because of that his crew left our roof open when merging our addition and didn't cover it knowing we were going to have horrible rain. This is XMas Eve and my sons entire ceiling collapsed.  He is trying to bully us to continue to use him.  He has made one bad decision after another.  You should pray you never have to work with someone like Jim Rana. Call me for all the other horrible things that happened.

My attic caught on fire because of my neighbors House catching on fire and spreading to mine. I personally did not call the company the fire department did I wish I would've gotten a heads up on what I was going to get charged for there crevices. To board up my bathroom window and get what looks like a $10 dollar Padlock placed on my front door and my back gate bolted they charged me $800+ which i could have done myself. Another thing if you tell them you dont have insurance they will not respond to you or try to offer you services. I tried calling them two get an estimate on how much my home repairs would cost and they never called me back with a response.  Seems like a greedy company to me.

I was in need of a restoration firm to repair damage done to the outside and inside wall of my garage.  Summit was recommended by the insurance adjuster as a firm to use.  We advised Summit that we had an event in 4 weeks and people would be coming to our house.  The administrative portion of getting the job started was exceedingly long ( 4 weeks)  but once they finally started, they worked like the dickens to meet our event date.  I worked closely with Nhan Tran in coordinating building inspections, workers coming to do their work and eventually with the final inspection by the city. Nhan was a pleasure to work with and made sure that when various parts of the job were completed that they would pass review by the city inspectors.  They did meet the event date!

We had these guys come out after a water pipe was leaking and busted in our kitchen wall. They came and removed all the Mold and damaged dry wall. They Were both polite and professional. They were so quick and effective, i was truly impressed. I would highly recommend them for services.

Our upstairs bathroom flooded. We called Go To Services hoping to get things taken care of. The service was OK.  However, the business end was horrible! One of the dehumidifiers was broken.  I did have it replaced.  But the customer service was awful! I literally had to call the office several times to get a bill! I never received a quote fo reconstruction services at all. Nobody seemed to know which end was up! Very expensive for what little work was done.  I would never recommended them!

Extortionists.

Wow, dealing with this place was an experience. Five years ago we lost our house to a fire--a total gut down to the wood beams and concrete. I hired a mitigation company and had a good experience (name begins with the letter S and they are pros). Everyone at that company was sensitive, patient and respectful. There were never any billing shenanigans. Unfortunately, when we recently sprung a leak in the roof ruining a patch of ceiling and one wall, I couldn't quickly remember the company name, and so went with the restoration place the plumber recommended. Mistake.

The techs who came out were polite and seemed careful. They cleaned up after themselves. At one point I had to stop them from attempting to pry up my unharmed, glued down hardwood floor. I couldn't understand why they would do that because the floor had been toweled dry and wasn't damaged.

Our insurance company caught the fact that R1 was attempting to double dip by first charging for drying and dehumidification of a wall that was obviously saturated with water trapped behind the paint, and then later returning to remove the same drywall. There were other assorted small padding charges that R1 records couldn't back up which they subsequently removed from the billing. Traveler's paid out $1464.70 for the drywall removal and haul away, disallowing the extra padding for previous drying time. Our rebuild contractor agreed the allowance was fair for the work they'd done.

I never received a detailed invoice, and the first contact I had with Restoration 1 was a threat to attach a lien on my property for the extra $800 Travelers had disallowed. I filed a complaint with the ROC for price gouging and for the damage done to my hardwood. Darrin agreed in writing to remove the disallowed charges in exchange for dropping the ROC complaint. Three days later he said he would only consider the invoice paid in full if I also agreed not to post anything negative on Yelp or Google. First they tried to scare me into paying them money they didn't earn by threatening a property lien, then tried to use the same threat to prevent me from warning off others with my experience.

The funny thing is, Traveler's paid in full the claims for the drywall and the paint and even the hardwood that Restoration 1 destroyed. They paid out the claims for our fire five years ago as long as we could back up any requests with proper documentation. Restoration 1 is the only company that has tried to pull a fast one.

If you are using them, watch them like a hawk, ask questions, and take detailed photos so that you have proof of what they did and didn't do after the fact.

This company does not have a license. This company is not bonded. This company is not insured. This company is not a legal contractor. I hired him to do a job for my home he was so unreliable I wanted to scream. When they were on property to do work they were in their vehicle more than they were doing the job they were hired to do. I don't know if they were on drugs or what but I was extremely disappointed. Very unprofessional, never on time, always taking breaks, needed to go get extra supplies on the regular and so many other issues. How does anybody even hire somebody like this? I know why I did because I didn't do my research and I wanted a good price. Next time I'm definitely gonna be looking for reviews to see what other people say before I hire a company. On top of all these other things if you go to their Facebook page which I did, you can see that they actually have another company on there, per the business owner himself, that shows the same phone number for this other company. It's not even close to this type of company. It's actually a solar company. So what is he doing, jack of all trades work? Solar they specified company that you have to know a lot about to do I would imagine. Is this his specialty instead of home repair work? I'm so confused. Very dissatisfied. I want all others to know NEVER, EVER go to this person for any work and do your research before hiring a company. I got screwed. BIG TIME. Let's not let that happen to you. I have also attached three photos. One is for this company. One is for his solar company. One shows that he just started a job on the 19th and then another Solar company he started working for on the 21st!?? How is that even possible????

If I could give this company negative stars I would. We had them come out for a blockage on the old side of our house. They were our third plumber to come out. All the other plumbers realized that the two sides of the house did not connect and therefore scoped and snaked from the clean out valves from the toilet and sink inside the home. These fools snaked from the clean out valve on the new side of the house and pushed so hard he rammed through our master toilet and broke it. That side of the house wasn't even the problem!!! Needless to say he spent the whole time replacing our toilet and never even went to the old side of the house where the problem was. Then he reported to our warranty that our pipes were 'messed' up and therefore he caused us to be denied on any other warranty claim. This is despite the fact he never even went to the correct side of the house!  Luckily our next plumber came to the rescue and figured out the problem. In summary, this company broke a perfectly good toilet because they clearly had no clue what they were doing. If your home warranty assigns them to you I would kindly ask for someone else. Ridiculous.
