From the moment I first contacted them, I was treated with care and concern. We were on vacation and my house sitter noticed the standing water. My initial contact with them was not only via phone but I was in a different time zone. Jessica answered the phone and went into action immediately. This was the first time I ever needed to contact this type of service and she guided me through the process. She contacted her folks immediately and got them out there to begin working on the water standing in my house - and kept me informed along the way. They were at the house within about 1.5 hours of my making the initial call.

We got the water shut off. Then all I had to do was coordinate to have someone meet them at the house and give them the key. They took it from there, including put a lockbox on the door so that my house sitter didn't need to come and go. I spoke with the Project Manager, David, when they first arrived. He did a great job of talking me through what he saw and his initial recommendations.

When we arrived the next day, the water was all gone.  They floor was dry. There wasn't a sign of flooding remaining in the home. They'd moved all furniture into the center of each room and covered it with plastic. Anything that was on the floor was dried off and stacked for us to go through. There people were SO polite and caring. We got into town as they were about done for the day, the waited for us to arrive home from the airport. The Project Manager took us through the house, explained what they'd done so far and made any additional recommendations. The time that he spent walking us through and listening and answering questions was invaluable. We discussed where we needed to go from there.

The last day, we had a crew that did nothing but clean. They vacuumed the entire house. Wiped down cabinets and shelves. They even mopped. We only have bathroom floors remaining, but they still mopped up the concrete, too. I'm not sure I knew what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by this. It made waking up a bit more comfortable this morning.

In all, we had them at the house on the emergency evening for about 3 hours, then I think 6 full time days (we had some VERY difficult wood flooring to remove and the last day was the clean up day). I've sent off fabric furniture to them for cleaning (couches). I assume that will turn out wonderfully, too. Jessica said she's mailing us a CD of all of the photos they took while they were here (probably most of them pre-work and with water).

One more thing I'd like to mention is that our insurance company denied our claim. When they realized that, they were very sympathetic. Instead of waiting for a bill, I asked them to hit me up with an estimate so that I could manage the money situation with my bank. The last day they were here (for clean up) is the day that the I requested the bank transfer. I'm glad they let me work that way, because we'd just put the flooring deposit on our credit card and I wasn't ready for them to charge the card the full amount due. Another sign that they 'get it' and are a great to work with.

UPDATE: May 8 - the drywall guy came by to check out the work that needs to be done. He asked me who did the work(removing the bottom 2 feet of drywall) and said that they did a great job.

ServPro did a great job fixing  our bathroom, bedroom and kitchen in our condo due to water damages due to a water heater explosion from a neighbor's unit.
Josh and his team were very professional and completed the job as promised.  We were very pleased with the results.
Please think of ServPro if you ever need remodeling services due to water or fire damages. They also do so much more.

I have never dealt with such professionalism in my life.
Had to have a house completely cleared out and cleaned. Had to worry about valuables in the process. Chris Butas and his teamed walked me through every step of the way and called me immediately to get the misplaced valuables to me as soon as possible.
I can not recommend these great people enough.
Just total professionalism, kindness, service & patience.

Servpro was so helpful! They showed up in the middle of the night and helped take out all the water. They kept me updated on the progress through out. They were all very respectful and worked to get my house back to normal as soon as possible. I could not have asked for a better company to help me with through this! I recommend them to all!

From a customer service viewpoint, the company does what it needs to. They did answer my call after a flood on my first floor. I was appreciative of that as it had been after 5PM when I needed help. They arrived with their crew and dried my floors within 2 hours of the occurrence. Again, I'm appreciative that they arrived promptly. They placed fans throughout in order to dry out the drywall. 24-48 hours later, fans remained regardless of the 93% humidity readings from the walls. While not my area of expertise, clearly the reading being not too far from 100% moisture contained within the walls, their assessment was to continue with the 8-9 snail fans and humidity extractor machine until Monday. The flood occurred on Thursday. Once they left I decided that while their way of doing business was to merely utilize fans for five days to dry out as much as possible that I needed something more aggressive as the walls were still 93% humidity two days after the flood. Their personnel had been polite and courteous both times they were at my home and it was reciprocated when the younger gentlemen arrived to inspect things and cut his hand in the process and was bleeding all over the kitchen floor. He was offered a large bandage as it had been a big gash. Once he left, I called another company who stated they would remove all drywall immediately to begin the drying process of the frame based on the elevated humidity reading.

Servpro of Phoenix was contacted and advised that while their business practices were respected and personnel polite, I needed an alternative way of drying out my place as I would be the one dealing with any potential mold that may begin to grow due to the longer drying time. I asked them what time that day they'd be picking up their equipment. It had been the same woman who initially dispatched the water restoration crew and attempted to have me stay with their company. I advised that I would not be doing that and personnel was there within the hour to pick up their equipment from my home.

Two letters arrived to my home postmarked 19 days after my initial flood titled: TWENTY DAY PRELIMINARY NOTICE. Why a pre-lien notice when the company NEVER reached out to ANYONE for payment? Not ONCE did Servpro of Phoenix reach out to me via phone or mail regarding payment NOR did they contact my home insurance adjustor even after they were provided they day of incident with my claim number AND adjustor's name and number. While I'm aware that as a business owner you may resort to certain measures in order to protect your business, a business owner who has been provided with:

*A claim number
*Home insurance adjuster's contact information
*Home owner's contact information

NOT ONCE attempted to contact the home owner, adjustor OR insurance company regarding payment is a company that should not be in business because they are disgruntled that a customer asked them to retrieve their equipment rather than complete services they disagreed with.

I'm sorry I ever reached out to your company, Servpro of Phoenix. Should I ever be in the unfortunate situation of a home flood again, if no other company answers my phone call after hours, I will dry the place on my hands and knees myself until the following morning before I even consider contacting your company.

Recently, someone we respect recommended Chris Butas and his team at Servpro of Phoenix. We're happy to say he not only understood the complicated nature of our home damage, but he was also able to help us navigate working with our insurance company. Although our home sold prior to commencing work with Chris, we are appreciative of his team's careful and professional analysis and they will be our go-to remediation company if, god forbid, we have another home disaster!

Servpro was great! They responded quickly after my house flooded and were always available if I had any questions. They helped me pack all my things and then helped me unpack everything when my house was repaired. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!

Servpro Phoenix saved us a few weeks ago. We had a busted pipe in the kitchen, and it flooded all throughout the kitchen and living room. Servpro was there promptly, set up fans, tore up the carpet, and took very good care of us. I highly recommend them.

I had complained on Yelp about Servpro leaving my sister high and dry as far as completing the job, but after a couple of phone calls, Servpro stood behind their word and put everything back in its place.
I also thought they went overboard on the repairs and the wet vacs, but after talking to the insurance adjuster, I was told Servpro will go above and beyond to replace items that could be remotely damaged.
Some companies try to stick it to the insurance companies, but Servpro is not one of them, so I jumped ahead of myself.

I would use Servpro-Phoenix again without hesitation.
