10 years experience in property water damage and mold removal restoration industry with current industry certifications and always requiring on going education for our wonderful staff. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. With what I have seen and experience it is our mission to make it #1 priority to do what's best for the customer. I've seen many companies in cohesion with insurance companies and there priority is to do what's best for the insurance in order for that company to keep sending them business. I know many restoration companies that give high refferal fees to there plumbers to get them to send them leads, in order for these companies to turn a profit they do limited work and add and charge for unnessary equipment to turn a profit. Started in the property water damage industry in order to help people in difficult times. There is no better business than helping people who have had unforeseen major events happen in their life. We help people who have water damage from leaks in their homes and even all out floods from a broken water line, sewage backup or mold removal.
Other services we offer are hoarding cleanup and also bio clean up after horrible tragic events, and crime scenes.
What keeps our team on call 24 hours a day in this field of work is when a job is complete and a customer and family members have a sigh of relieve knowing that we are committed to getting there home or business back to they way it was. Knowing with our 10 years of experience we will work directly with there insurance and guide them during and after there claim to make sure how we handle there situation will always be in the best interest of the customer. With never charging for inspections or estimates.

Arrived home to a flood and so blessed to have Van Smith with Disaster Service clean up from our flood. They removed all wet insulation, flooring, sheet rock, and wood. Cleaned the house. Got large number of dehumidifiers and fans going and my home dried quickly. Van was professional, knowledgable, and caring. He was there every day and answered his phone 24/7. Handled all the paperwork. I highly highly recommend and wouldn't use anyone else!
I highly recommend Disaster Services and their owner Van Smith. From our first meeting I was impressed with his prompt and professional service. But as we delved into our Black Mold issue, my wife and I were beyond grateful that Van was there for us! Van's knowledge is extremely evident when he talks and works. Van and Damian came to check out the inside of my house from roof leak.
They were professional, courteous and did not try to up-sell me on services I did not need.

Thank you so much for helping my grandmother out with her hot water heater leaking into her house. She was so worried and called me in tears when this happened. Her house was a mess and had water damage in the garage and in other parts of the house. I called this company, Frank and Van were so helpful. My grandmother did not have the money to pay for her insurance deductible. So they paid her deductible for her and handled everything to start the insurance claim. I typically have do everything for my grandmother, but not this time. Thanks guy for taking care of this for me!

In every industry, there is one company that shines as a leader in innovation, dedication, ethics and customer care. Based on my experience in working with Van, John and the crew at Disaster Services, I can truthfully say that they are the shining star of the disaster recovery industry.
One week prior to putting my house for sale, I had a leak behind the refrigerator which caused damage to my property as well as the condominium below me. I reached out to a number of companies and they all had minimum charges exceeding thousands of dollars (exorbitant) and they all wanted to charge me just to come on site to provide me an estimate. As I was paying for the repairs out of pocket, I did not have a significant budget and I wanted a fair and honest estimate.
I spoke to Van on a Sunday and he offered to dispatch his crew on site immediately. He was accompanied by one of his lead technicians, John. They both impressed me with their knowledge and willingness to do everything within their power to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
As an aside, John is a super-star tech and holds 60+ industry certifications.
The crew did phenomenal work and was very meticulous. They went the 'extra mile' and made several trips to my home to monitor the progress and add additional machinery, as required.
I can truthfully say that Disaster Services is the utmost professional organization and saved the day!
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of this service.

I am a store manager of Steak and Stone of gilbert and I was helping Johnny one of the guys from disaster when he pointed out a leak in my bathroom. He asked if he could check it out and before I knew it i had John in my restaurant diagnosing the problem. These 2 are an amazing asset to this company and provided stellar customer service in every way. After talking with them I definitely want to use this company for any restoration issues I may have.
