These guys are awesome! Definitely my new go-to for any plumbing or water drainage issue. They are on-time, polite, courteous, and very professional.  Their cost is fair and they do a great job.  I can not recommend them enough!!

I have 3 types of reviews (With the 3rd being the most important!) to write about him:
1) The work he has done:
I had Andy come out to change some pipes in the basement of my house a couple months ago. When he changed them, it led to a blackish looking water splashing all over the mirrors and floors of the basement. He left without cleaning out and when once it dried, I was unable to to get rid of the marks. As a result, the mirrors were permanently stained with an ugly black mark rendering them useless. The worst part is, when I told him he left the work area dirty, he said he was going to make it out to clean it when he had the time and ended up coming back about a month later only to discover the marks couldn't be cleaned off.

2) His social interaction and motives:
Fast forward to today, it looked like the pipes he installed were leaking again so I had him come back out. When he took a look at it, he discovered it was from a leak that was above the pipe dripping down onto the pipe. He called me after discovering it wasn't a problem with his pipes telling me Don't ever call me out to your house again (no joke, those exact words) all because I'm not knowledgable with pipes and couldn't tell it was leaking from above.

There was another incident 3 or 4 months ago when our water heater stopped working so I decided to give him a second chance and take a look at it. It turns out the water heater flames were out and all it took was hitting a switch to reignite it. He spent 5 minutes doing it and tried charging us $100 for it. He prides himself on always helping you out and giving you a fair price. This didn't show a fair price for 5 mins of labor that requires little to no knowledge (If I had read the label I would have figured it out myself). If he wanted to help out, he would have asked me to check the label on it to see if the heater is ignited over the phone.

3) Take these yelp reviews with a grain of salt:
Something to consider with all these reviews is that he gives his customers a yelp review discount if you write a positive review. I initially wrote a great review despite the stained mirrors just to get a $25 discount. So in reality, it is basically like he is paying each person $25 to write a positive review for him, to look at it another way. And as in my case, I initially wrote a 5 star review when he deserved the 1 star I'm giving him now.

Seriously the best plumber ever. We had an emergency and they arrived so fast. Efren walked us through step by step and finished the job so quickly. If we ever have plumbing issues we will definitely request for him to come back.

Fast, reliable, and honest! My water heater broke and they came out within an hour of my call, and replaced my water heater with a new one on the same day! Marty was my Plumber and he was great, he showed up on time explained everything thoroughly and worked clean and fast! I would definitely recommend these guys to friends and neighbors!

I called Water Heater Pros to install a tankless water heater, with a tight time margin. They came out same day to look at the property, and had it done two days later. Looks amazing and they were extremely professional.

Matt came by my restaurant to fix a clogged urinal this afternoon and he was incredible. On time, super efficient and quick, and extremely friendly. Explained exactly what the problem was and gave me some easy tips to prevent the problem from happening again (or at least with much less frequency). I will definitely recommend Lords of Plumbing to anybody that's got a problem on the Westside. Thanks Matt!

Fantastic plumbing company.  I have used them for several bathroom sink cloggs, sink replacement, and water heater install.  They back up their work if there are any issues that materialize after the work is done.  I have shopped around for other plumbing companies, but this company takes my business.

These guys were great and fixed a persistent leak in my ceiling that 3 other plumbing companies couldn't ever find (including Fisher Plumbing who left a hole in our ceiling and stopped returning calls.)

1. They sent Michael who dutifully diagnosed the problem, alerted me of all associated costs. Michael listened and reserved judgement until he had tested all the factors himself.

2. When the solution looked to be costly, he called in supervisor Ralph to give a second opinion. Ralph was also a total pro - complimented Michael on how carefully he'd put down drop cloths to catch the mess - then diagnosed the problem himself, agreeing with Michael's conclusions.

3. They tried an odd-ball workaround that involved adding additional wax seals to our toilet and flange - it worked!

Hard Hat diagnosed a very tricky problem and provided an extremely workable fix that saved us about a thousand dollars! I'm pleased to have found my new plumber!

We had a backup in the bathroom  toilet the plumber came out very quickly give us a great price for the work and took care of business very fast. He was very informative about what he had to do and what was the problem. I'm very happy with the level of service that PM Plumbing provides. For any future work that will be needed to be done they are the first ones I will call. If you need someone to help you with your plumbing needs I highly recommend PM Plumbing .

I called the Plumbing Dudes because my kitchen sink was clogged.  However, when Arman showed up it drained beautifully, the first time in two days.  I felt really bad for calling him out ( it was a holiday at that) and fully expected and was willing to pay a fee for the call.  He refused to charge me.  I can tell you 100% that I will be calling them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

My tankless water heater broke and Steve from Free Flo Rooter + Plumbing came out to survey the situation in a quick and timely manner. When it turned out that we needed to replace the system itself, the communication from Steve was prompt and clear. Pricing was fair. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Jaimie was so attentive and very quick to respond, I had such a major emergency even worse than I could've possibly imagine. When he got there he assess the situation and he was reasonable in his price to fix it. He showed me exactly what the problem was even though I'm not a plumber he made it simple for me to understand. At the end of the day my problems are solved and my life can you go on so I am very thankful and I would recommend them over and over again

An actual honest plumber and overall good personality.  He didn't creep me out hanging in my kitchen doing his thing. Some plumbers are def dirty and creepy. This guy very nice clean cut honest and knew what he was doing. From one single lady to another, letting strangers, repairman or not can be an unsettling. This guy is def very professional.

Phoned Western Rooter for a slow toilet in the morning.  they came out same day and the Tech Omar was on time and courteous along with being Honest. I am a contractor myself and plumbing is not my thing but the way he approached situation was very professional as he found a tree root problem Being the culprit of my slow toilet.  Omar worked hard and pulled some roots out and reassembled and Now it's working again .  Good ol fashioned work ethic that's hard to find.

I was out of town for a family funeral and the last thing I needed was a plumbing issue with my bathroom toilet. The only time I could get someone to be at my house was on the weekend so Plumbing Boys was on my short list. I found their prices to be reasonable especially for weekend service.

I needed to reschedule a couple of times since I had to rely on a friend to be there but Tony was very flexible. The technician that came on the day of service called prior to arrival and called me with the final quote. He called back for payment over the phone and emailed me a receipt.

Tony also checked in with me to follow up on how the technician performed the job the following day. I have to say that he definitely goes over and beyond. Tony is great and really cares about providing good customer service. Two thumbs up!

We had some issue with our toilet. I found David Rooter here on yelp and he was quick to respond.  He came on time, have me a fair price and got the job done right away. It is tough to find honest people and David came off as just a hard working guy providing his best service.  Since he was here I had him take a look at my leaky shower. He said he would order some parts and come back to fixed it once the parts are in.  I will update review then.  Lastly, he warranties all his work. Now that is what I am taking about!! UPDATE: David came through once again. Fixed my leaky shower as promised. He actually hunted down a special order part and went to pick it up in order to get the job done.  A+ service.

Our first experience with Waterworks went very well: quick, thorough and the price seemed very fair. This isn't always the case with many service tech. We'll be using again!

Disillusioned.

I don't know what happened since my two 5-star experiences in 2016. I really don't because I swore by their professionalism, integrity and work.

I have moved since writing those reviews but they were always going to be my go to. It feels good when you find that.

So I stopped having hot water and I called them...

Do They Want Business?

...the person who answered the phone seemed disinterested. I explained that I am no longer in Long Beach now but moved to Orange County and they automatically assumed I was not in their service area, let me know and hung up. I had to call them back and ask well, you have an office in Cypress. I live in Cypress. Do you not service the city your office is in? The lady ignored the question, did not apologize and bluntly asked what I needed. She booked me for a time slot the next day, for which the plumber was late. A different lady from the office called to give me that update so I will say that was the highlight of the WHOLE experience.

So the office is dissociated with the notion of doing actual business. But how about the appointment?

They Do Want The Business But Will Charge 2-3 Times the Market Rate for the Same Service

So in the field I got to meet a plumber who probably had a long day but was very professional about it. He was informative and made a quick assessment about my pilot light being out. The pilot light couldn't come on and so he gave me a few options, notably to replace the heater. He gave me two estimates--one at $3K and one at $6K--from the local office.

Now, the most expensive water heater at my local Home Depot is $1.1K so you're telling me that labor is anywhere from $2.9K-$4.9K? That's a lot for labor (and profit). Mind you, this is for a single family home.

This was disappointing considering the last two times I worked with them, I respected their integrity and fairness. This was anything but.

So I got a second opinion. Another local plumber. Who was able to turn on the pilot light. For $135 (on a holiday). Hmmm. $135 sounds a lot better than $3K or $6K. Don't get me wrong, this plumber also suggested that a new water heater may be needed in the future. Their estimate? $1.7K. They could have presented that as the only option too.

I can do math. $1.7K is a lot better than $3K or $6K.

It's been over a week and half, and the $135 job is doing just fine for me. But hey, if I need it, I can go to my new plumber.

SUMMARY: What I really loved most about Beach Plumbing is gone. Professionalism. Integrity. Fair pricing. I'm not saying they don't do great work. I'll be fair and assume it still is top notch. However, if you value those first 3 qualities be forewarned. I'm glad I saved almost $2K by not going with them.
