As a full service plumbing company, we also handle water heaters, water heater installation, maintenance, and repair, both conventional tank water heaters and much more efficient tankless water heaters. We're also well versed in water treatments systems, and can install and recommend softeners, filtration, and treatment for clean, drinkable water. To help ensure the life of your plumbing and sewer line systems, we recommend and perform a lot of sewer inspections, with a sewer scope, or sewer line camera. With many of our maintenance services, we'll also offer free camera inspections, to maximize the lifetime of your sewer lines, and identify drain problems. We also handle gas line installation, and emergency earthquake shutoff valves, and we're certified to perform under street repair. Septic pumping for septic tanks is another service we're happy to provide. If it's water lines, sewer lines, or gas lines, we've got you covered. Western Rooter began a family business over 35 years ago in a small office located in Monterey Park. The company started with one goal in mind - to provide low cost quality rooter service for the community. Working hard to maintain honesty and integrity, it wasn't long before the company began to grow. Referrals have been the key to the success and expansion of the company. It continues to grow - one valued customer at a time and its services have greatly expanded. We now offer a wide range of service to much of Southern California. I major plumbing issues with our home.
I requested quotes via Yelp from numerous plumbing companies.
Western Rooster the first company to reply and I am glad they did so.
After receiving quotes from over six different companies, I made an appointment with Western Rooter to my home to address three different issues.
The first time I utilized this company, the service tech arrived fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled time which is a good thing.
The tech took a look at the issue and immediately got to work. This project of a very clogged shower drain took all of ten minutes.
Next up was repairing a leaky toilet which the tech repaired in ten minutes and last up was replacing a very old, leaking and rusty kitchen faucet.
This project took longer (approx one hour) as the tech had to drive to Home Depot to purchase hardware that was accidentally left out of the new faucet package.
When all was said and done, I was extremely happy with the complete work.
The tech was very professional, understanding and friendly.
On another occasion, I had to replace a bathroom faucet which I tried to do myself and was having a nightmare. Rather than break the sink or anything else (which I have been known to do on several occasions), I called Western Rooter to get the job done correctly.
A new tech came out and had everything replaced within 25 minutes. Once again, I was very happy and satisfied with the work.
This will be my go to plumbing company for any and all future projects

What wonderful service we had. My sister's house was so clogged in the kitchen that she could not use it at all. She is disabled so I tend to take care of these matters.
I called Western Rooter and they said they would be out within 3 hours. They were out in one. The plumber was so kind and dealt with the matter in minutes and even helped me clean up the sink.
These are the guys I will always be using from now on. I was just so happy with them.

Just used for the first time for our business in Monrovia, UltraFlex Fitness.

My kitchen faucet has been leaking - for months I'm ashamed to admit - but yesterday it got so bad I couldn't put off the repair any longer. Western Rooter came to the rescue!! What a fantastic experience!! Incredible staff, very reasonable prices, and fast service. Can't go wrong!
I sent them a message via Yelp about my kitchen faucet leak and also about my bathtub faucet being stiff with decreased pressure. By mid morning I had an appointment for the SAME DAY!! I was so surprised!
Their technician, Said, came out and was so kind and professional. Gave his expert recommendations and within an hour, all our plumbing problems were solved! He replaced our whole kitchen faucet and fixed up our bathroom faucet good as new.
And I absolutely LOVE the replacement faucet he installed in the kitchen - so so much better than my old one. It's working great and looks so much more sleek! All for very very reasonable prices. First time trying this company out today. Mitch was lovely. They're very honest and fair on their pricing. They don't charge you an arm and leg. They're 1/2 cheaper then the other plumbing quotes. They were able to install a new earthquake valve to solve a gas leak.

I used Western Rooter for an emergency service to repair a drain in early January 2023 underneath our driveway at our condo complex.
I want to stress that the service I received from the people who did the repair was five star service. It was a very busy time with all the rain and weather we were having. I called many different plumbing companies and they were all booked out, and even though I was requesting emergency service, most companies would say they had no one available.
Therefore, I was very appreciative of Western Rooter sending someone out for our urgent problem.
The fix that was provided to us took a few days; however, the crew that came out was extremely friendly, cooperative, hard working and kept me constantly up to date about what was going on and what needed to be done.
I was very pleased with the service in that regard.
There was just one thing that I just didn't understand. When I received the invoice, there was a single page invoice with a price. One line...nothing broken down. This made it very difficult for me to try to get reimbursement from my insurance company. I called Western Rooter and they just told me we don't bill that way --- you just have to take what you get. That was surprising and honestly down right rude. It is just like they took a magic price out of the air and put it on a piece of paper.
So, just be aware of that for billing purposes. Otherwise, I would use them again if I had a clearer picture up front of the estimated costs and what was behind the cost.
My family arrived home from a month-long road trip, to find that our drains were not... You know, draining. After trying to auger the drain myself, and making it about 10 feet down before my small Home Depot tool reached the limits of its abilities, I realized I needed a professional.
In hindsight, I wish I had known about Western Rooter before I called one of their competitors who advertises on the radio with a lowball, bait and switch price for drain cleaning.
That other company came out, used pretty much the same style and grade of auger I had used, then suggested he needed to pull the toilet. I suggested... And I'm just spitballing here... That maybe he try the sewer clean out plainly visible on my patio. Nice kid, and I'm sure he was a better plumber than I am, but to cut to the chase, he was unable to resolve the problem. Told me he made it about 30 feet in, and despite trying both the tub and the toilet and making it through there drops, suggested that my cast iron drops was shot, and would require replacement to the tune of several thousand dollars. I thanked him, wished him a very nice rest of the day, and told him I'd be in touch if I wanted to go that route. Kindly, he only charged me for the house call and nothing else. Small victory, but not a solution. Back to the drawing board...
To get to the Western Rooter part of this review, A friend here in town suggested I give them a call, and I did. By the time the other fellow had left, we were in the part of the day that required double time for the house call, but with no working drains, and all evidence pointing towards a mainline sewer stoppage, I pleaded with the dispatcher to send someone right away. She did.
The Western Rooter plumber arrived right on time, and immediately got to work, sending a camera through the sewer clean out, and down the pipe. Using his tricks of the trade, he adroitly navigated a few plumbing twists and turns to snake The camera into the right spot... Bingo, found the blockage.
Immediately after, the gentleman wheeled in the right gauge and grade of drain auger, ran it down a good 80 feet, then followed that up with another camera down the pipe to ensure that he got it. Problem solved in less than an hour for a ridiculously affordable price, even for the after hours plumber. Didn't feel the slightest pinch tipping this guy an extra President Grant for a job well done, without any mess.
Effectively, getting a second opinion not only resolved the issue, but saved me thousands of dollars for a repair that I, in fact, did not need... And would not have resolved the issue! Talk about dodging a landmine!
What can I say other than our family has a new go-to plumber, trustworthy, honest, and affordable. The fact that they are only minutes from my front door is a bonus... and while I can wish as a homeowner I never need to call them again, I'm relieved to know the reality is that when I do, Western Rooter is the company I'm going to call, and the company to whom I will refer all of my friends and family.
Found standing water in the tub of the back house (no one use it for weeks), which lead us to noticed water coming out from sewer clean out. Called Western at noon and got scheduled between 2-4 pm same day (Sunday). Got another call from Western that they will be late but before 5 pm, so appreciate prompt communication. Plumber showed and cleaned up our sewer in no time. He also recommended camera and jet cleaning services since our sewer line ran in the middle of two mature ficus trees, but in a very professional way without pushing.

Amazing! Western Rooter really came to my rescue in a pinch! The night before a 10am kids party at my house, I decided to put salad down my garbage disposal because I didn't want it rotting in my trash until trash day, big mistake. At first it seemed like all was well, i til the dishwasher started backing up into the sinks. I tried my hardest to YouTube a solution but ultimately decided at 11pm that the fox was beyond my means. I called western rooter in the morning at 7:30 am and was quoted 8-10am arrival. Leonel showed up around 8:30 and in no time had my sink unclogged. He was super professional and fast and really understanding about my need to have a working sink asap! He put back all the things under the sink before leaving and was really courteous and friendly! Would totally recommend 1000000%.

Needed a kitchen drain snaked on a Saturday evening. They came out within an hour and had it fixed in about 20 min total. Very pleased.

Pablo (Great guy) showed up with in 20 min and started working right away got it cleaned out and everything was done.
Later today we had some issues again so we called western rooter and what do you know Pablo shows up and diagnosed the problem turns out it was a separate line on the property this one was a little tough but Pablo was very persistent and determined until he got it cleared and ready to go

R.J. is the best! Western is correcting a problem at our condo that was caused by another service provider and I asked for a plumber to come up because I wasn't getting water in our middle bath. RJ, the plumber they sent, was responsive to that issue - cleared it up right away - PLUS looked at my clogged disposal as an extra measure of customer service attentiveness! The initial problem was making everyone here have a bad couple of days - no water, rusty water, etc.. So nice to have a sincere, hyper-competent service provider on the site who saw the 'frazzle' and fixed it with kindness!

This was our second time getting services from Western rooter. John helped coordinate another team and problem-solved our septic tank issue, we have gained trust to their quality of services. This time, we realized our water heater is 12 years old, and we are interested in tankless water heater option. We called Western and John came out to our house. John was very professional and he told me that the gas company will give $1000 rebate for the heater. He then asked his crew to send me the job description and the breakdown of the project, and allowed us time to respond. It's not an easy decision and we spent a week to think through pros and cons. We never get pushed and therefore we opt to go ahead and have their team install the tankless heater for us.
On the day, it was Daniel and Justin who serviced us. They are super professional, polite, and patient with us. They figured out out gas pipe is old style and the size didn't match what they have. They made judgment accordingly and went out and get the pipe in right size. They spent 10 HOURS on the project. Throughout, they maintained their work professionally, and answered every question we had. Daniel realized my wife mopped the floor after they hauled the old water heater out of our house, when he came back in he took off his shoes without us asking! He also made a special trip the next day to double check if the heater is running smoothly, and he attendee to our request and sealed the holes drilled the previous day. We can't be more happy about their work! We Strongly recommend them for all plumbing services, and will continue to use their services in the future.
Sunday evening, our toilet wouldn't flush like it normally would. We tried all recommended suggestions on google and now our 2nd toilet and bathtub are clogged too. All signs pointing at the mainline. Crap! How do we find a plumber at 9 pm? We called a few places. No answer or cannot get someone here right now. Western Rooter picked up and it's double the rate since it's off hours. We decided not go with it and called around some more, NO LUCK! We called Western Rooter back at 10 pm and they said the plumber would arrive in 40 min. Plumber caller and said ETA 15 min but then Western Rooter called explaining that plumber got 2 flats on the freeway and is awaiting AAA. Now another plumber is heading our way, Alberto. He came at 11:30 PM and finished the job quickly within 15 minutes. He also had good suggestions on how to avoid future clogs. Well worth the money!!!
Western Rooter was able to come out the same day and fix our clogged sink problem. They are very responsive and reasonable pricing.

5 Stars! I googled, saw there reviews, and called right away for a gas leak, they called me back in seconds of me calling them and scheduled for next day gas leak repair. The gas company turned off my gas, and western rooter was able to fix it on the same day that they went out, within just a few hours. They are very knowledgeable know what they are doing and they explained it to me as they go. The best part was the gas company came that night, after the repair was done, and passed the gas leak repair, and restored service that night. They collected payment from me after the work was completed. Very satisfied all around with this company, will definitely use again.

Western Rooter had a plumber come out the next day after our initial conversation. It was a small job to address the low flow in our tub faucet. Turns out it was a bad cartridge. Unfortunately Jared couldn't locate the part at any local stores so he had to have it shipped overnight. He came back a couple of days later to finish the job.
Western Rooter (and Jared) have proven to be friendly, responsive and very professional. Given this experience I would recommend this company.
We have an ongoing battle with roots and grew a little impatient with our previous plumber who wasn't the most professional, prompt, or consistent so we contacted Western Rooter.
Leonel came out to help snake our main and I have to say he was a breath of fresh air - prompt, very professional, courteous, efficient, and overall seemed like a nice guy so I made sure to grab his card.
Flash forward to today - I had stupidly thrown a new mattress cover into the washing machine without checking to see if it had a cardboard insert... and... well of course it did, causing a nasty clog causing our kitchen sink and washing machine to drain out into the overflow, flooding our backyard.
We called Western Rooter and requested Leonel again and had the same great experience as that first time. Prompt, efficient, professional, and courteous.
I hope I don't have to see him again anytime soon but glad to know I have his number in case I do!

Long story short, my gas heater was leaking, water all over the garage, I knew I needed a new one since its been 20 years already. Called Western Rooter Arcadia Branch, got a really great quote on a brand new Bradford White & labor plus haul away! They came to install it the next day. They told me that they would come between 9am-noon, and they came at 9am sharp, and finished installing in within 2 hours! Carlos, the technician is very friendly & professional and he provided me lots of good tips in how to keep the new gas heater in good condition. I picked this company on YELP, checked with 3 other companies and Western Rooter's price is just unbeatable, and I am happy I picked the right one.
Our 100 Gallon water heater cracked and started leaking; during the heavy downpour in Los Angeles, we called Western Rooter first thing in AM.
I spoke with the dispatcher, the tech was there to remove the old Tank, and Western sent the new replacement tank. Within a few hours, the problem was solved. Greta Service and a reliable company. They are very organized and customer sensitive.

I recently had a very positive experience with Jared from Western Rooter, a plumbing company that was contacted by the management company for our condo building. Even though it was Saturday, they came within two hours. While on his way, Jared called and asked me about the problem and all relevant details. He was very polite while talking and listening to me. In spite of the challenges that this problem caused, Jared remained very calm and patient while handling it. It was very considerate from him to carefully clean any spots immediately since, as he said, it would be very difficult to do it later. I particularly valued it since the problem was in my neighbors' unit and they were out of town. I would highly recommend Western Rooter and Jared for reliable and safe plumbing services.
We had a great experience with Western Rooter and everyone involved from our specialist Omar and his team, to Susan in billing and everyone in the office. We found Western Rooter on Yelp and called them for a second opinion for a main line blockage and pipe replacement (So glad they service the Upland area!). The estimate we got was clear and more informative that the others we received. The price was reasonable and WR even had good financing options that worked for us. The day of installment the team showed up early, worked late after the sun went down and was able to get the project done in 1 day (absolutely incredible). Our job required city permits for breaking up and replacing a section of our sidewalk, and Western Rooter worked with the city of Upland and streamlined the process for us. Thank you immensely to everyone at Western Rooter for all your help and making a stressful situation run smoothly. It sounds like Omar met several of our inquisitive neighbors during the long day he was working in our yard, but for any neighbors he hasn't yet met we will be recommending Western Rooter :)
Work that was done:
- tree root removal under the sidewalk that was causing the pipe to tent up and created standing water in the pipes, which ultimately lead to the mainline blockage
- burst new pipe line back to the house to replace old clay pipes that were out of alignment
- cleaned the cast iron pipes out to the city line and used a liner to keep their integrity and increase longevity
- they dug three holes and replaced the section of grass they dug up in the front yard and several weeks post work the grass is growing back just fine.

Charlie was our technician that came to the house and took care of a leak in the bathroom shower/tub.

Leo came out and cleared out our washer sewage drain. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Quick response and came over within hours of calling for service. They didn't make me answer a survey on the phone, like some of the other companies. Very competitively priced. I'd call them again, and request Leo!
Nice people to deal with. They took care of my problem, which was a leaking shower valve, and didn't try to upsell me into a bigger and costlier job.

We discovered a slight gas leak from the gas pipe in the kitchen inside the wall. I reached out Western Rooter and one more company for the estimate.
Christian from Western Rooter came out on time with advanced text notification and call, and his approach to fix the issue was very smart with almost 50% cheaper than the quote the other company gave us.
He was able to fix everything on the same day with very minimum damage to the house/wall and I can't thank enough for their effort!
Booking with them is always easy and fairly quick. 100% recommend!

We highly recommend Western Rooter. We have used them repeatedly. Latest episode, Jared and David came out to update our bathroom faucets and drain. They were very diligent to get the job done right. Clean and very professional.

Called Western Rooter to service our storm drains as we've has some issues with water not draining properly. RJ was very professional, answered all my questions, and suggested options to move forward. Once I approved, they performed the work in a timely fashion, and talked me thru it all the way.
These guys are amazing! Thank you Justin, Omar and Diego!! Started having sewer line back up issues after having line snaked and realized needed to call a specialized company to diagnose the problem instead of a handyman. They came out and walked me through and showed the issues. The old sewerline had its time..Orangeburg, clay pipe and cast iron. They completed whole job in a day and left yard looking like there was ever a issue! The whole experience with this company was seamless. Everyone from the first person that takes your call, to the awesome technicians Justin, Omar and Diego.. and Susan who helped settle the Billing..all of these people were outstandingly professional, courteous, and willing to answer my many questions. Showing me the issues and explaining process and options. Highly recommend!!! They will make the absolute best out of sh$tty sewer line situation.
Needed some time sensitive sewage problem fixed and they were super responsive, very prompt (with all the necessary equipment), and got the job done. I'm sure they weren't the cheapest, but I can appreciate the professionalism. Everything started backing up here at the house I had bids from a couple of other companies both totally $16000... They kept saying I had to replace this line in that line. Joshua showed up and he corrected that ended up saving me $16000 charge me 450 to clean out the main line and it works beautifully and I am so impressed by And then I've already referred him off I love this guy absolutely He knows the stuff . Showed up clean.. You can tell he loves his job And he loves helping people out !!

Beware ! Western rooter low ball the estimate ! After they got the contract , then they add a lot of extra , after they got the money they didn't do that they promised to do, never answered the call for follow up warranties. Do Not Use Them
I used another plumbing company last year and they were supposedly used liner and cleaned the roots. Exactly after 1 year, same backup happened in my pipeline.
I called the Western Rooter, and they responded promptly. Omar & Justin were both really professional and sympathetic to my problem and took care of the issues with 24 hours.
I can't say how happy I am with their service, courtesy and professionalism.

Repeat customer for a reason. I am a renter. Before my residence was sold to a new owner, but while it was still up for sale, the previous owner refused to provide maintenance. I had an urgent plumbing issue, but not an emergency. Back then, Carlos the Plumber arrived when promised, quickly diagnosed the issue, and did the repair. All under 30 minutes. He used quality parts. The repair lasted.
The new owner bought the house three years ago. He uses a handyman to make repairs. The handyman acquires cheap and inferior parts from Home Depot. The plumbing repairs last from two to six months. This handyman visits the residence every other month to repeat repairs. It must be costly to the owner.
I recently had another plumbing urgency. I had quite the discussion with the owner to use a real plumber who works with high quality parts and he begrudgingly agreed. Richard the Plumber arrived at the residence when promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue. He expertly discussed and convinced the owner to accept the repair (quite the feat), and he completed the repair using high quality, and appropriate, parts. He wasted no time.
The owner felt the cost of the repair was high (in my opinion, the cost was fair). Since Richard's repair was done correctly, I believe the repair will last far more than two months. This means, in the long run, the cost is not that expensive compared to what the handyman charges.
Western Rooter is 2 for 2 with me. I will continue to insist that the owner of my residence use Western Rooter for future repairs. If my residence is an investment opportunity for someone, I should think that using professionals for maintenance is the best investment one can make.
And yes, I highly recommend Western Rooter.

Wow! We are so lucky we called Western Rooter!
We just had a scary gas leak coming from our gas stove. I called Cynthia, what a super and professional person she is, who immediately sent out Vinnie. Vinnie is a Team Leader.
Vinnie was at our house within a half hour-that's pretty amazing!!
He fixed the issue, was completely personable, and the price charged was reasonable.

Our HOA had been doing business with Western Rooter for about 6 years. Must have been some changes with in the office Or Ownership. We just recently started receiving at least 3 invoices that were either a year old or almost a year old that have wrong informatio.
A plumber came out on 4/1/22 for water leak in the ceiling of garage. He was here for awhile then left. Found out by the Tenant that the Plumber could not find the leak and left. Got a call from the Owner of the Unit that water is still leaking as of today Sunday April 3rd. Never heard from Western what the outcome was, had to hear it from the Renters and their Owner. Gave 2 stars only because someone showed up.

So, get this. My wife and I were moving from Sierra Madre to North Carolina on August 1st. I was going to disconnect the refrigerator ice water line and realized when the idiotic plumbers replumbed my kitchen many years ago they did not install a separate shutoff for the water supply line; they simply tapped off the cold angle stop. This did not allow to use the kitchen sink. I did not want to leave it like that for the new owners.
My house was full of boxes and who knew where any of my own tools were to do such a job. Not like I would have under the circumstances. Sent out an SOS to Western. I was assured, don't worry, we're on it. Sure enough Monday morning, moving day among a five-man packing crew, a sea of boxes, bookcases, beds and more, Western shows up with the usual smile and great greeting. Problem solved in no time.
I'm writing this from Atlanta on August 4th. That's how much I respect this company and people.

Ten stars for the up front honesty and admirable character of Robert Hernandez - he was my contact person and inspected the problem for me. Had some issues with some bathroom shower & sink fixtures. I'll spare you the saga of frustration and woe. This message is for Jared Elbag. We have a plumbing issue. Jared came over and checked everything and pinpointed what the problems were. He also went on to share other problems that we didn't know about. He didn't even charge us the typical visitation fee as he didn't spend a lot of time, just goes to show that he was an honest person who wasn't trying to rip us off just because he made a visit.

I was dealing with a home warranty company and their plumber that they assigned to me. Needless to say after 2 weeks (yes 2 weeks...and we have kids) without hot water and without a clear plan to fix our water heater any time soon, I called Western based solely on Yelp reviews (1000+ 5 star reviews). My call was placed during my lunch (12:30pm to 1:30pm) and we had hot water by 4:30pm. Total cost...$125. Total estimate from Fidelity National Home Warranty and All Intercity plumbing...$985....AND out water heater is still under manufactures warranty. Do yourself a favor and call Western.
Ricky and Carlos are a great team. They came within the time frame I was given and were both very knowledgeable and professional. The problem was our main line was clogged. I was impressed with their speedy, detailed to attention and problem solving skills. I was especially impressed with their communication skills, showing us through their camera that there was rust buildup in the pipes. I'm a new customer and was beyond thrilled of the work and pricing. 5 stars all around!

I've been having a leak for several weeks now but cannot pinpoint where it is. In a way, I've been traumatized before from the plumbers that I asked help from in the past. Thank God for Yelp I found Western Rooter. Their response time was within the hour from when I left a message. During the day of visit, Mitch called me to get a picture of what is going on. I initally asked for the water leak detection service and he found it right away. He then went inside the crawl space of my house to see the damage and took pictures and videos of the things that need to be addressed. When he came out, he told me that my mainline and sewerline need some fixing. He gave me a quote on the spot and considering that it is Saturday, I think that his price was reasonable. I then gave him the green light to fix it. I was happy with the service and based from what Mitch discussed with me today, this is not going to be the first time that I'll be seeing him. Had a little hiccup because when I applied for their financing, the credit was already expired. He then told me that Susan from their financing department will call me on Monday to get it settled. They were very professional about handling EVERYTHING. I will definitely ask him again in the future to fix the other plumbing issues I need at home. Thank you Mitch and Western Rooter!

Mitch was a very professional and honest guy. He is also a knowledgeable plumber with good work ethics. He would give you the best and honest advices as if he was working at his own home. I got a notice from the Gas Company that the gas pine needed to be inspected as soon as possible and immediate actions were recommended. When Mitch came, after carefully looked at the pipe and cleaned up the dirts accumulated from the recent rains, Mitch told me that the pipe is still in a good and safe condition. I could wait for at least another year or so to have it inspected again and replaced if needed. I trusted Mitch and decided to wait so I could defer my few thousands of dollars expense for another year. He also gave me a mini lesson on how these pipes work, which I was really grateful for. This was my second time using the service from the company and Mitch also worked on the first service. I have referred Mitch to a few friends and would recommend anyone to use the service from this company and ask Mitch for a free quote. I am so happy to find a good and trustworthy plumbing service that is close to home.
Disappointed. We called for emergency support at 11:30p and paid the $250 service fee. It was obvious from the moment the plumber arrived his only intention was to turn off the main valve and leave. The issue was our shower faucet knob could not turn off the water. The plumber made no attempt to fix or investigate the issue, and repeatedly told us he didn't have the parts to fix it and to call back in the morning. After this poor service we called our regular plumber and he was able to adjust the cartridge in the faucet handle with a wrench and it worked again... minimal effort with no additional parts needed. Disappointing. I know it's late but if we pay $250 emergency fee, we expect the same service as if it were normal business hours.
Plumber, Derrick Kim, came and opened a pipe in the garage of our 3 story condo building. He accurately assessed the issues and offered a couple options to stop the back up into my kitchen sink, when those above me are doing dishes, and their draining water hits the area of pipe that is clogged. He got permission to change out the pipe and submitted a recommendation to address the vertical shared line that comes down from the 2nd and 3rd floors, as well. He was polite, skilled and responsive to my concerns. He was on time and got parts and fixed the replacement pipe quickly. I've had plumbers come out to do work from several local companies over many years and Western Rooter provided true quality service from their reception, scheduling and plumbing resolution.

I had a great experience with getting my water heater replaced. Vinny was very professional and courteous and kept me updated every step of the way. He even went above and beyond in checking on the warranty for my old unit, Rheem. Good news it was still under warranty and I was able to get a new unit. Bad news Rheem didn't get back to us for a few hours so I had already purchased another to be installed. Now I have an extra unit (if anyone wants to buy one? Haha).
Daniel came to help which cut the work time from 4 to 2 hours. He was also very professional and courteous and helped to educate my husband and I on our new unit.
They are quick to respond and fairly priced. I would definitely call Western Rooter again. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this company. I researched many companies and read the reviews and decided to give them a chance for house re-piping job. John,, Manny and their entire crew were extremely nice, very responsive and very thorough and professional. We're so happy with the work they did I would highly recommend them.
We have had them out 2 times. Once for a stopped up sink and another for a clogged toilet. Very professional. The get to work right away, clean up after themselves, and I know what the charges are before they work.

We had a pipe burst over our tuck under garage at midnight. I called and they were able to get it fixed within a couple hours. The plumber they sent out was knowledgeable and efficient and polite. Can't ask for anything more in the middle of the night. The price was outrageous but so is everything nowadays with inflation the way it is.

Last Friday, I had a major issue with my toilet. After I was done doing my business, I flushed the toilet and my business came back up. I notified the landlord, who had informed me that the earliest they can come out was the following Wednesday (as they were out of town) and informed us to call a plumber (albeit reluctantly).
As we were trying to call a plumber for almost an hour, we eventually got into contact with this company at around 7pm. Within an hour, they informed us that a plumber will be arriving between 930pm to 1130pm. Mind you, this was on a Friday evening where getting a plumber was not easy (and not cheap). Given the circumstances, it was worth the cost. Plumber arrives at 945pm and begins to go to work. After 2 hours, it was determined that the sewer lines were severely backed up and needed major upgrades (as it turned out that my entire complex also had issues with their plumbing).
Western Rooter and their employee, Charles came through big time. 5 stars for Charles, minus 5 stars for my landlord.
John came to our place to give us an estimate and was super friendly and knowledgeable and was super honest about what needed replacing and what was fine as is. We were scheduled an appointment very quickly after.
The team that came to our place, Leo And Tony were incredibly friendly and professional. They did a great job getting everything replaced and fixed up real fast. Would love to work more with those two and this business in the future on other projects!
We had a very good experience with this company. They were responsive, professional, reliable, and friendly. We had the pleasure of working with Manny and Daniel. Our salt-based water softener system broke down and had it replaced with a saltless whole house water filter system / water conditioner. We did a comparison with two other companies and theirs came out the most reasonable and with the most value. Manny and Daniel were easy to work with. They were prompt, responsive, and were good about following through. We'd do business with Western again.
I live in an old complex with frequent leaks. Twice now, I've had water intrusion from other units that would come and go randomly for months. Several other plumbers have tried locating the sources to no avail. We called Western Rooter and they were able to locate and fix both issues immediately. Working with Jared in particular has been a wonderful experience; he is incredibly personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Will 100% be calling Western Rooter for all future plumbing issues.
Just fixed a mystery plumbing issue in my backyard that existed for months. A couple of areas of my lawn was soggy and we didn't know where the water was coming from. We dug up the spots and found backed up drains. I had a few plumbers over, but they didn't have concrete answers or solutions. We didn't know where the drain started or ended. The last plumber that came tried to charge my mortgage amount just to jet out the drain.
I was referred to Justin Goytia by a friend. He was described as reliable. He and his partner Diego showed up and fixed my problem. They jetted my drain and found lots of roots, large and small. They also ran a camera through the drain to assess where the drain ended and any other blockage further down the drain. They ran into a few challenges and triumphed through. These guys know what they are doing. At the end, they walked me through their work. They spent half the day at my house addressing the issue, running to buy parts, and closing out their work. It was a great experience. These guys were polite, professional, and left the work area clean and improved!
Justin is my guy going forward. He knows what he is doing, pleasant to have at the house, and will not stop until the problem is fixed. All at a fair and reasonable fee.
He approached the problem methodically and narrowed down to only a few options of troubleshooting.
5 stars is the max rating, but Justin and Diego get 6 stars from me.
Today, I got a second opinion from Western Rooter, on some plumbing issues that have been ongoing in my house. And, boy, am I glad I did!!
Western Router came up with several ideas and explain each one of them thoroughly. The level of expertise and experience Western Rooter will bring to the job is extremely reassuring. I am very impressed and look forward to having my issues resolved.

do not call this place for emergency plumbing repair
i got a major toilet leak abd flooded my toilet on sunday evening i search and rewuested for emergency plumbing repair thru yelp
this company is the only one that answered my request the plumber showed up and fixed the leak in 15min and charge me $245 for labor & parts i believe this is highway robbery i wish i could find someone else at the last min
but unfortunately i had no choice
i will never use this company again for any plumbing service

Today I woke up to a clogged sink in the bathroom. I called Western Rooter, who I've used many times before, and they told me that the technician would be at my place between 11AM and 1PM. They also told me that because it was Saturday it would be time and a half. Totally understandable. Richie showed up at 12noon. Diagnosed the problem and cleaned out roots in the pipe. He spent an hour running the snake twice, cleaned up everything and was on his way. There is a problem with the pipe. Roots are getting in and it needs further repairs. Richie said that he'll report his findings to Western Rooter and they'll send me an estimate for further repairs/work. Very happy with the job Richie and Western Rooter performed today!

We had a small get together at our home for my brother yesterday. Literally mid-way through the party, my husband noticed the clean out was leaking water. When someone had flushed the toilet very unpleasant stuff started to come out of the clean out. Let's just say it didn't smell like roses. Moments later my husband picked up the phone to call Western Rooter and in less than 1 hour and 20 minutes Bryce, one of their Service Technicians was there to save the day! In less than 30 minutes Bryce was able to clear out all the blockage. He used the snake to even clear out the blockage flowing to the street.

I have never been so offended by a lack of work ethic than I was this weekend. At 8:30 Sat night the 1st call came in from an apartment that the tub was backing up and toilets wouldn't flush. One by one to a total of what ended up being 7 units went down with zero bathroom plumbing available. Allow me to save you valuable time and a hard learned lesson from this weekend. The amount of falsely advertised 24/7 service amongst plumbers, in particular, is horrifying. Plumber 1 said they could mosey on over on Monday. #2 said they could show up the next afternoon. #3 accepted the job and ghosted.
All praise and glory goes to Western Rooter who professionally called me back in a timely fashion and identified the issue over the phone with what actually resembled joy in her heart. I then received a call from Arnold who had an indepth conversation with me to get even more information and an idea of what to expect. Arnold and Chuck obliged me by actually showing up very soon after and getting to work being incredibly thorough AND friendly AND happy to help. Not only were they friendly with me but also the residents that had been dealing with this. There was not a trace of evidence left that we'd had any plumbing emergencies within 2 hours of their arrival. Stop wasting your time with these other poser plumbers. These guys were so awesome and accommodating when giving me an estimate, and then again when replacing my tankless water heater. The price in the quote was clear. I supplied my own water heater and the 2 plumbers got an extra $400 worth of parts. Overall the price was reasonable. They got it done within about 5 hours!
I called last minute in the morning with a toilet back up issue and they were able to send out a team within 2 hours. They quickly determined the area of the clog in the mainline and used the snake/auger to cut through and get the water flowing. Price was fair and would recommend.

Our downstairs bathroom flooded. Toilet started leaking at the base. I put a call out to Western Rooster (whom we used in the past). They never have let us down.
Auro took my call for service. She's very efficient precise and when I placed a second call of urgency she expedited my call to a priority call and dispatched the closest technician.
Omar got there assessed the situation and in a few minutes had things not only under control but wrapped up clean.
I've come to expect a particular operating fashion from Western Rooter and it is apparent with the various tech's that have answered calls for service throughout the years that they ALL are super professional very informative (especially towards my wife) in breaking things down for her and above all helpful in the sense of sharing knowledge on how to avoid repeat instances rather than just show up do the job and leave.
As a repeat customer (unfortunately at times) I do STRONGLY RECOMMEND if there's a plumbing problem that you have don't waste your time researching just call Western Rooter you will not be disappointed!!
When my hot water heater suddenly stooped working I looked for a company in the area (Monrovia) who could do the work. I had an appointment for the next day and Jared showed up on time and even called ahead to let me know he was on the way. Western Rooter's as a whole is wonderful. I had an emergency plumbing issue at 10pm on December 28th. They came out within the hour and quickly unclogged our mainline problem. Their pricing was reasonable for a last minute, late night call. Their plumber, Arnold and Alex were friendly and professional. They came back with a crew today (1/3) to perform a hydro jet procedure on the mainline. I'm glad I found this company and will use them again if needed.

We had a clogged pipeline situation in the patio recently that caused flooding in the patio late at night. Jared from Western rooter arrived at 10:30pm, it was dark and pouring rained, Jared was able to temporarily fix the issue that night but he notified us that he had to come back with a more powerful machine to fix the root cause of the issue (other plumbers may not have been this thorough and left for another job). Jared came back again with Carlos, they were able to take a big chuck of tree roots inside the pipeline (at least 4 foot long!). Knowing that there would be another storm coming the next day, they stayed until 1am to fix the broken pipeline to ensure our place wouldn't be flooded. Jared is amazing and definitely professional. I highly recommend Western Rooter/Jared to anyone.
Tony and Rob came out and did a bunch of work in our new home for us. Replaced some toilets, faucets, installed a garbage disposal and a new shower kit. They were super easy to work with, double checked all their work, and did a fantastic job. Price was great too. So happy to have found a reliable plumber and will 100% be using them for any future needs. Highly recommend!

A big thanks to Richie for giving me a fair assessment of a PEX pipe leak behind my water heater in my garage. He was able to find the leak and give me my options on the repair. I called about a leaking water heater at 2:00 and by 6:30 the same day we had a brand new water heater installed! Daniel was very professional and kept me up to date on the process the whole time. I'm going to use Western Rooter for all my plumbing needs!
So John reached out to me and came out to double check the work was done right. I was defensive at first because of the previous unpleasant experience. John didn't argue with me but instead he showed me what he can do to make me satisfied with the service.

My kitchen sink Has been clogged many times before. technicians from other company give me misleading recommendation. Until Tony came this time. he is very experienced, knowledgeable and professional . Not only He did an excellent job in unclog my kitchen sink, he also checked my kitchen line and told me exactly what's going on and how to do the maintenance. The price is also very reasonable . I needed service on my mainline due to roots clogging the pipe. I called Western rooter and spoke with Mark. They were extremely professional and very nice. they showed up on time, gave me a great price, and was very thorough with the work. Mark helped me obtaining the city permit and kept me posted on the process. Mark always picked up my phone calls and always called me back when I leave a message. Arnold explained all the details of what needed to be done. It took them only one day with major repairs.

Fantastic customer service from initial phone call to completion of the job, as always. Service staff are always friendly, informative, thorough, and fast. Highly recommend.
Our downstairs toilet backed up and caused a flood. We were able to plunger it but called Western Rooter to come double check it. Pablo showed up around 35 minutes after we called and he was very diligent in checking everything. Even went and snaked the clean out. I felt way better that a professional like Pablo went over everything.
If I had issues in the future, Western Rooter and Plumbing would be on my speed dial.
We had a slow draining shower and used chemicals and a snake with no luck so we called Western Rooter. Omar came out and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. Super professional at a very fair price. Will definitely call them again for our plumbing needs.
Yesterday, Western Rooter sent Daniel Westereng to my home to remove my water heater that had started leaking probably for sometime without me noticing it until we lost the hot water.
I just want to say that Western Rooter is very professional with how they present and conduct their work, especially when dealing with the Owner of the company, John Bottala.
I want to make special mention to Daniel Westereng though for being kind , polite and focused on his job and scope of work. I am blessed to find good people.
He made a special trip today to my home to say Hi and to see if everything is fine, although, we are still waiting for the drywall to be installed before the new water heater is put in.

Plumber came to home for a clog in the kitchen sink and laundry washer which is about 10 feet apart. Tech recommend hydro jetting and said this will resolve the clog with the washer and kitchen sink since they share the same line. 2 days later the laundry washer is still clogged and water backflow and kitchen was clogged as well. Tech comes back Monday and said he will snake drain but it void the warranty? So he snakes the drain and I asked if this will resolve the washer as well. Tech goes on to say that I never mention the washer as an issue???!! First, it was mention the first day of service and when they came back to rectify the issue. but tech has selective hearing and said he didn't hear the reported washer clog???? The tech specifically said the washer and kitchen share the same line and hydro will resolve both!! My home is video and audio recorded security. Told him that I can pull the video with audio of the conversation. So tech wanted to charge me to snake a drain out from the roof that leads to the washer. Told him i will not pay for that extra service because I paid a premium for the hydro jetting that was said to resolve the clog for the washer and kitchen since they share the same line! now they want to charge to do another snake for the washer????? Do not hire this company for service! At the end, I was not charge for any additional charges but tech said all warranties are voided! Save the headache and find someone else for plumbing issues!

I appreciate him for taking the time to resolve my concern and has personal address my concerns and assure this is one off and assure it won't happen again and have taken the steps to correct it. I'm updating 1 star to 5 star for his company's integrity.
I had Western Rooter replace a water heater that was old and incorrectly installed. The old water heater was installed in a really tight corner and Western Rooter did an excellent job of installing the new one.
Finally a routine service without emergency!!!!!!! Used Western Rooter in the past to come out at night, raining, and on holidays. Great company service.
Western has helped us out multiple times with a poorly-performing toilet. They are consistently thorough, friendly, and more than fair with pricing. Highly recommend!

Great customer service and very friendly staff. They had someone come out next day to repair a leaking hose attached to water heater. Within one hour problem was repaired. Western Rooter scheduled my appointment the next day, confirmed by email and text. I had a 2 hour window and they texted when they were on their way. The 2 plumbers were courteous and nice. They changed pipes in a sink that was leaking and tested the sink with me present. Paid by credit card. Very easy process. Will use them again in the future.

Western Rooter saved the day thanks to Mitch! I hired another plumbing company to do a big job running a drain line around my house and when that company messed up I was super frustrated and didn't know what to do. I searched Yelp and the first 5 STAR company that came up was Western Rooter and from the start they were so helpful. They were super professional and kind... Mitch came out to help me and make sure all my questions were answered!
I am forever grateful for them for helping me out. Not to mention they offer fair prices compared to the other company I had hired.
Be careful what plumbing companies you use and always get multiple quotes so you can see which ones are taking advantage of you, Western Rooter is one of the GOOD ONES!
If ten stars were an option, that is what Western Rooter deserves! Initially we had an unfortunate experience when a scheduled clean out of outdoor drainage was not completed well. I contacted the owner who insisted he make it right, refund my payment and allow a different technician to come and do the properly. 5 years ago we relocated from Cartersville Georgia to Pasadena California. Upon arriving our objective was to renovate and remodel the home. During the remodeling process we decided to replace the Hot Water Tank for a Tankless Water Heater. Due to unforeseeable circumstances I neglected to have the Unit maintained and serviced. Several days ago I began to notice that the unit wasn't providing hot water that we were accustomed to. I conducted a search via the internet and found Western Rooter and based on previous reviews and customer comments I called yesterday afternoon.
I spoked with a young lady that was very polite and professional that took down my information, understood my dilemma and scheduled a service call for next day (06/28/2022) between the hours of 9 to 12 noon. True to her word I received a call from the service provider that he would be arriving at my home in 10 minutes. I met Mr. Ryan Huey who was very professional, highly informative and explained everything in detail as to what he would be doing to ensure that the unit would provide the hot water that we were accustomed to. I asked to be place on a regularly scheduled program to maintain the life of the Tankless Water Heater for years to come.

My tech came out before the window allotted and worked my sink into submission. Turns out the wife and daughter send more hair down the sink than previously believed. The service was fast on a last minute call and sorted out in within minutes. Tech was a complete pro and even cleaned up the residual grossness. I highly recommend you give these guys a call when in a jam.
We needed to have our sewer line cleared out, so I called Western Rooter. This is my first time contacting this company. The person I spoke to said they could send someone out, today, between 3 - 5 PM! Glad they could, so I scheduled the appointment. Not more than 3- or 4-minutes pass, and Carlos called to say he is on his way, will be arriving in about 25 to 30 minutes. Sure enough, he arrives 25 minutes later and was actually here before 3 PM!
Carlos gets to work right away, and about 30 minutes or so later, he has the line free and clear! I also thought he was very professional, knew his stuff, and was very polite and respectful! Paid the man and he was on his way!
The cost was reasonable, and the service was timely! And the job was done for the price I was quoted over the phone.

These guys are consummate professionals. Everything from initial correspondence to billing to work quality/expertise to follow-ups/responsiveness was handled with speed and thoroughness.
The team that did our sewer line repair/replacement - led by Mark and Arnold - was a team of 6-8 guys who started and finished the job in less than a full day.
In addition, the cement guy (Gustavo) they sent out to re-finish the concrete was excellent as well.
Great communication and efficiency throughout the process!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company. We had a clogged toilet so I called around to a few different companies and decided to go with Western Rooter based on their 7 day guarantee. They came out quickly and unclogged the toilet (charged $295, not the $88 they quoted over the phone because they needed to unclog from the clean out). On day 6, the toilet was clogged again. I called back and guess what? They don't actually provide a 7 day guarantee and would charge to come out again. Great.
Arnold was great! So professional, and kind. He was able to explain things to me in a manner I understood, which is super important in the event I have the same issue again. He also was able to suggest things for me that I can fix in the future to prevent any other foreseeable issues. Will definetely stick to them in the future!

The company is very professional and responsive. I gave it 5 stars for that.
However, the latest visit for mandatory back flow testing did not alert us of the high pressure on the yard watering (sprinklers and irrigation tubes) line.
During the past year we had over 10 pipe bursts that I personally repaired.
Recommendation: what is the maximum pressure allowed for watering? When testing back-flow, is it required to test incoming line pressures?
Our water heater was leaking and due to circumstances we needed to resolve the issue right away. I called Western Rooter and they sent someone shortly after to give an assessment of the problem and how to solve the problem. Within a few hours our water heater was replaced. Thank you for your hard work!

I needed the faucets for my washing machine replaced due to calcium build-up and called Western Rooter after reading Yelp reviews. They sent out a crew for a free estimate within a two-hour window. Albert showed up in less than an hour and gave a fair estimate. He had the faucets in his truck so he was able to replace them on the spot. The whole process took about an hour. He was very easy-going and professional and paid attention to details - making sure the faucets were lined up and cleaning up after. Overall, I'm happy with the service provided, and the cost was reasonable. I recommend them.

Referred to WRP by our HOA And they are the plumber we've been looking for. They know the plumbing setup in the development and HOA requirements. Prompt and polite.
Our sewer line sprung a leak and the odor into our house was horrendous. We called a local plumbing company and they said that it would be a week before they could help us. A week?
We called Western Rooter and they came out immediately within two hours. Ruben analyzed the situation and left to get a crew and was back in a short period of time. There was no access hatch to run a camera to find out if there were roots blocking the main line.
By the end of day one, they had dug the line to the outside of the house in order to expose the line since they couldn't put their camera in to understand what caused the line to rupture. Before they left, they were able to replace the broken section under the house, purged the waste water to the street and reconnected the line so we could use our plumbing. They returned the next day and had to dig a separate hole all the main street connection. This required them to expose the connection to the street within my courtyard. They had to remove pavers and plants to expose the pipe.
They fixed the issue which was a broken connection to the main line and installed an access so anyone can put a camera for analysis.
Ruben and RJ were extremely courteous and informed us of every step of the repair. By the time everything was done, it looked like no one had touched the ground. They replaced the pavers after filling in the courtyard hole and replaced all of the plants. It was an incredibly professional job.
I highly recommend Western Rooter for all plumbing needs.
Finally! We've been living in ALTADENA for 6 years, and have had reoccurring issue with plumbing. The guys at Western Rooter finally figured it out what our problem was and fixed it for half the price of other quotes we received. Justin, our service specialist, was polite, knowledgeable and honest.

Punctual, honest service. I've used them multiple times and never had any issues. Pricing is standard and clear.
Our showers started clogging, husband snaked it and it seemed to get worse, and right before the holiday weekend. We called Western Rooter Friday morning and they were at house within hours of calling. The found a major clog and started digging to clear the clog and install a clean out line, by Saturday at noon they were done. Kept us up to date with everything they were doing and were very professional. Would definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

Richie came to install three new toilets for us today and we're very happy with his service. From scheduling, confirming service with quote to actual service, everything was very straight forward and professional. So far we've had 3 experiences working with Western Rooter and both are very positive. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing plumbing jobs done!
I just wanted to add to my previous review. Western told us when you see underground pipe leaks like this, the problem is usually a break down of the connections between pipes that cause the leak. As it turned out, this was true in our case. Also, the Western workers had to dig almost 6 feet down to get to the pipe and we could see the actual leak. Plumbing is tough work!
The have good reviews but they gouge my 90 year old mom. They came to fix my mom tenant clog toilet and ended up charging her $1000 for a new toilet and $4500 to replace 20ft of steel pipes. They also wanted us to replace the pipe to the main line for $20000 or at least to unclog to main line for another $3800 which we decline. If it was not for the emergency, we would have gotten a second opinion. Later we check with another plumber, they quoted us around $3500 for everything. Even with Covid, their prices seems way too high and they are taking advantage of the elderly who does not know better. Shame on them and stay away!

We noticed our outdoor clean-out was overflowing so we called Western Rooter. We have used them in the past and always been happy with their work. Richie came out and cleaned-out the sewer line. There were many tree roots. At that time he showed me the camera pictures which indicated that some of the old clay pipes were beginning to fail. He gave me a quote to have new lines inserted into the existing lines (Trenchless). We agreed and he did the work a couple of days later. They did a great job. One plant had to be removed but they kept it separate and replanted it when they were done.
We are very happy with the work and the pricing is fair.

Peace of mind-- that's what you get with these guys. In my past dealings with plumbers, you never know what you're going to get. One guy may quote you 3x more than the next guy, and you're really left to trust that they aren't scamming you.
It's been a rough 2020 so far, and I had my second major plumbing issue occur-- this time for a main sewer line replacement. Western Rooter is not the cheapest, let's start there, but you know what? They're legit, reliable, and honest, and the premium is worth it (not the most expensive either).
Jared and Jacob came over and replaced my main sewer line and showed up with a positive attitude. My pet peeve is when a service provider gives you a 4 hour window of when they'll show up, and still show up an hour late-- this seems to happen to me all the time. That didn't happen with this team, they were Johnny on the spot, showing up right at the early part of the window!
They respected all the COVID protocol and wore masks and shoe covers every Time they entered the house. Once the job was done, they showed me before and after pics and thoroughly tested to make sure everything was functioning.
I'd highly recommend these guys, and props to Western Rooter for hiring not just good plumbers, but more importantly, good guys!

I had a 95% block in sewage line. Justin diagnosed it, showed me the camera footage, then used a state-of-the-art hydro-jet tool to cut through the root in the line. It was challenging but when finished, the line was clean and cleared all the way to the city. This has been a recurring issue but never resolved completely. I'm grateful I found these guys.

I noticed some water stains on my ceiling so I called and made a next day appointment with Western Rooter. My window was 2-4pm and lo and behold, I hear a knock at 2:02! Excellent! Ryan was the one who diagnosed our issue (old bathtub drain pipe sprung a leak). He was professional and wore a mask the entire time he was here. The fix would require 2 people to be present, so Manny came out to help cut the replacement pipe and help Ryan with getting the new piece installed. He also wore a mask the whole time and was very friendly. I was so grateful that the repair could be made right then and there during this appointment! Ryan also was kind enough to take a peek at another issue we had while he was here.

Plumber showed up quickly on a Saturday evening. I had an old pipe in the front of the house that had to be capped off. I dug it out and tried to fix it myself. Plumber for western rooter came and fixed the problem in 30 mins. I originally complained about price, but owner was nice enough to contact me and refund some of my money.
I had a drain under driveway that was quite sluggish during downpours. Tony and Omar were here and scoped line. It was difficult to see where it ended as had some debris. They needed to come back and hydro jet it, only if I wanted. They were extremely thorough and did not force anything on me. Would highly recommend and use them again
Jared and Justin did a great job explaining to me what was the problem with my outside drainage pipes. They promptly set up the jet system and cleaned the gunk out of my pipes. No more flooding when it rains!

They came all the way to West Hollywood to fix my clogged kitchen sink and we could not be more thrilled with their work and their excellent attitude. This is a long overdue review. Hands down, I don't trust any other plumber besides Western Rooter. They have a pretty big team of guys and I have never had a bad experience with any of them. I have been using them since 2011 for all my properties: condos and single family homes.
I have compared prices and I can say that Western Rooter's prices are reasonable. But more importantly, when they come in and do a job, they do it right. They always accommodate time as well, which is incredibly important when dealing with any plumbing issues.
I have used them for all kinds of projects: unclogging drains, changing a sump pump, re-piping a condo, replacing a sewer line. You name it, I've more than likely have had it done. They are prompt, friendly, and get the job done efficiently. You won't have to call them back for the same problem. These are my go to guys and they should be yours too!

These guys are the best..Had a facet that had no water pressure in the kitchen. Joshua fixed this in under 5 minutes. Had a main drain in the backyard that just puddled with water.They jetted that and there was sledge everywhere. They cleaned my entire patio no mess left to clean up.
They explained everything to me in english.

They installed a much needed 2-way clean out in addition to hydro jetting some roots that were clogging the drain to our master bathroom. Also, had a pipe liner installed. It was costly but necessary. Work was completed on the same day as promised.

Excellent costumer service from Jared! I called the office first thing Monday morning because our kitchen sink was backed up. They sent Jared out right away! He unclogged our sink with a snake. Also, we had a separate issue which required him to return to our home the following morning to fix. He arrived at the time that he said he would and completed the job very quickly. The sewer line was blocked & caused back up from the toilet to my living room. I called Western Rooter for hydro jet service & the receptionist made next day afternoon appointment for me at $585. Price is reasonable while other plumbers quote at least $1,000. Richie Ortiz came 2 hours earlier to check the blockage & spent lot of time & effort to cleaned the blockage caused by a piece of stuff. Richie is polite to explain the situation, professional to show me the camera of the snake. Also, he has patience to tell me what the procedures need to be done. I'm very pleasant to contact Western Rooter to solve the problem.

Kitchen sink was clogged and Western was able to send Richie over very quickly. He cleared the blockage and pointed out that our disposal was leaking for some time (it had rusted from the leaks). I needed new hot and cold water valves for a washing machine to be installed. Chuck arrived on time and did excellent work--removed the old machine (over 20 years old) from a tight spot inside a cabinet, removed the old rusted valves while doing surprisingly minimal damage to the drywall and keeping the same outlet box, installing the new valves, and repairing the drywall by covering the hole perfectly with a piece of wood. The cleanup was spotless.
I was extremely pleased with everything about Chuck so I will gladly welcome him and Western Rooter back to my home when the next plumbing issue arises.

I called them because my utility sink in the garage overflowed and was filled with still water. I tried to use my own snake with no success, so I figured it was my main line and called them. They happened to have an opening and squeezed me in.
Alberto was there within an hour and I showed him and think and where to clear my main line. He was doubtful that the main line was the culprit. And he was right, after trying one more time with the snake, he found a secondary main line was fairly hidden and need to use a longer snake. He quickly cleared it and kept me informed the whole way. So grateful they handled this so quickly and reasonably! Thanks.

I always return to Western Rooter when I have a plumbing issue. This time they responded expeditiously to address a leak in an 81 year old fresh water supply line. This time Charles and Arnold did the work and resolved the problem quickly. As usual they left the work area as clean as they found it. I am appalled at the cost of copper pipe but what can one do. I highly recommend these guys.
I called western rooter today asking to get a tech out as soon as possible to fix a slow drain in my kitchen sink. They were able to send out a tech within thirty minutes!
Pablo, the tech came out and diagnosed the problem right away and fixed the slow drain in no time!

Holy moly. Albert is a Rockstar. I had a horrible clog in my upstairs master bathroom that was leaking into the kitchen downstairs and Albert patiently looked for the issue and was able to resolve it in hours. Other plumbers/companies were trying to propose restoration and other crazy work that wasn't necessary in order to get more money. But not Western Supreme Rooter! Pablo came out next day and on time to fix our clogged kitchen sink, great service and really nice guy. He was careful not to make a mess and let me know the cost up front. Cost was reasonable/average but it came with a 30 day guarantee which was reassuring. I would call them again.
Phoned Western Rooter for a slow toilet in the morning. they came out same day and the Tech Omar was on time and courteous along with being Honest. I am a contractor myself and plumbing is not my thing but the way he approached situation was very professional as he found a tree root problem Being the culprit of my slow toilet. Omar worked hard and pulled some roots out and reassembled and Now it's working again . Good ol fashioned work ethic that's hard to find.
Very impressed. Pablo explained what he was doing every step of the way. He was courteous, professional and efficient. I will request him by name next time.
My home has had an off and on clogged drain line for a few years. I had been working with a rooter company in Ontario who would come out and fix the line, but then tell me that I was always going to have a temp fix and I should be prepared for a big repair. I had them out on a Saturday and the following Monday my drain was clogged again and when I called they said the couldn't do the job.
Enter Western Rooter and Plumbing. They got to my home the next day and fixed the drain for good. The cleaned out years of sludge and made sure that not only the kitchen drain was clean, but did the laundry room and the main line drain as well. They had to access it from the room, but once they started working the drain was cleared up in under 20 minutes. Oddly enough the other problems that kept the previous company from fully cleaning the drains never popped up!
Polite, professional and efficient are some of the superlatives that describe the service, but they also made the visit economical and affordable.
I would highly recommend their service!

I've only added a review on yelp twice before in the last 10 years but I felt this was well worth it. The first word that comes to mind is professionalism. They showed up 1.5 hours from the time I reached out to them, they were calm and collected given that My wife and I were extremely stressed about what the actual scope needed to be, as the previous companies were all over the place. I had reached out to 3 other companies before contacting John. Fortunately with Mark's on the field expertise and John's overall experience in this industry, I avoided spending thousands of dollars. Within 24 hours from their estimate (and I stalled them a bit with giving the green light to proceed), they fixed the sewer problem and I didn't even stress once about it. I thought it was going to take at least 3 days based on the other companies estimates. Unbelievable work all around and I would highly recommend them.

Had a dripping faucet called on a Tuesday and they came out to give me a free estimate on Thursday. They were very honest with what the issue was. Western Rooter & Plumbing made an everlasting impression with their great customer service and transparency. They are located in Arcadia but can service out here in Buena Park as well. From the start of making the appointment with Arlene, she responded very quickly and setup my appointment the next day.
Mark was my technician and he was attentive to all my questions and gave me his honest opinion on some repairs that were noted on an inspection. We went over a recent home inspection regarding plumbing issues and Mark was able to address all the issues in the report and was able to cut down on some of the repairs by fixing certain issues.
I was very impressed with Mark's professionalism and great customer service. He kept me posted on all the work and once the work was completed he went into detail what was done and reviewed all the work. Needless to say, we will call western rooter and plumbing for all of our plumbing needs.

Sink was clogged and we didn't know what was going on so we decided to call them and ask for a plumber to come take a look.
Robert came next day was very good. Friendly and hardworking. Figured out the issue and gave us a solution that was pretty good deal and well within our budget. Took about 2(?) hours to get everything done and working again.

On New Year's day, my kitchen sink was plugged up. The company promised to arrive between 12 & 2 pm.
Richie Ortiz arrived shortly after 1:30. Richie was pleasant, polite and masked. He quickly determined the issue was between the sink and the outside drain cleanout.
He did his rooter thing and the sink was emptied.
By 2:05 he was gone.
I highly recommend Richie as a technician and Western Rooter.
This is the 3rd time I have used them, and I've been impressed each time. From a small clogged drain to a massive repiping, they are fast, they have BBC a great attitude, and they are quite reasonable. Don't hesitate to call them!
The owner, John, reached out to me to rectify the problem. After hearing him out I got the sense that his employees just needed better communication and transparency. He wanted to make things right and offered to replace the pipe for free without expecting me to update the review.
Bottom line: I don't think they were trying to scam and in all honesty I feel they tried their best with the tools they had available. John seemed a like true professional and an honest person. A larger snake with more power is not always successful. I would give them another chance in the future.
Thanks to Arnold, Mark and Derrick, my yoga studio is clog-free and hopefully clog free for years to come!! They were professional, courteous, communicative, and genuinely wanted to help. Thanks guys, you rock!

Justin was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to clear my clog quickly. He was also very considerate to ensure my toilet was not scratched and used another tool to clear the clog. Lastly he inspected my other toilets and calibrated them and they're all now running very smoothly.

Our office toilet was having issues and we called Western Rooter and they sent someone immediately and got out toilet up and running for us in a matter of minutes! They did an amazing job and also fixed a leak that we didn't know about. The Plumber was very professional clean and friendly! We will definitely be calling back for any future plumbing issues.
This is the second time I used Western Rooter & Plumbing. First time was for a clogged kitchen sink, second time to fix my garbage disposal.
Both times I had excellent service. Plumbers are professional, punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. I called in the morning and was able to have someone come out to fix my garbage disposal that afternoon. They follow covid safety mask wearing, wear shoe covers inside, and don't make a mess. Highly recommend and will use them again!
My sister bought a fantastic house in February. It's an old house and the maintenance wasn't fantastic. And by that I mean they were blatantly ignoring that the gas main needed to be replaced (among other things).
When two gas leaks became apparent (that turned into the gas main being shot), I had many people come and look at the situation and Western Rooter not only gave me the lowest price, they also figured out how to not completely tear up a planter, sidewalk, and driveway.
During the gas main repair we also had our kitchen sink clog which they seamlessly unclogged and repaired some broken pipe pieces, and they also were able to re-route the washing machine drainage which had been going into the backyard through a large pipe instead of underground to the septic.
We have been so happy with them we once again used them to fix a broken closet flange in a bathroom, where they once again approached the problem in order to do the least amount of damage while still doing the job right.
All of their technicians are smart, kind, and are always happy to show and explain to me what the problem is and how they are going to fix it. I've never been spoken down to or dismissed because I am a young woman. This is HUGE, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Western tackled the issue the same day at a fair price. They jetted our 300 ft sewer line on a private driveway. After a less than adequate job performed by a competitor failed to resolve the problem. Prompt and courteous front office, plus efficient and knowledgeable plumbers - a winning combination. We had Alberto's help with an issue which began as a slow-draining bathroom basin, worsened by another plumber into a full stoppage. Alberto methodically diagnosed and resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction. This is our second experience with Western Rooter, the first being about 6 years ago when they replaced a main sewer line. I would have called them first, but could not remember the name. With the basin entirely refusing to drain, we finally located the old receipt, and called Western Rooter. They responded immediately and competently. Lesson learned -- spend time up front to find the right crew.
Albert was fantastic. Professional. On time. Unplugged the drain with a little trouble shooting and did a great job.

My faucet was leaking. Naturally, I turned to YouTube to teach me how to fix it. Reader, I made it worse. I called Western Rooter in a panic on a Friday at 5pm and they were able to help me decipher if this was an emergency or not. It was not, so they were able to give me a Monday (holiday even!) appt. They were timely, trustworthy and did excellent work. 10/10 would recommend over trying to do it yourself from YouTube videos
Had a good experience, plumbing services are always expensive, charged me $250 to replace and install my garbage disposal and check my pipes which were clogged. Would recommend again. Loved my plumber he was so nice and informative. Will use again.
My parents had been having recurring sewer line backups, and Western Rooter was able to send someone out the following day. Mark was on time and got to work right away. He explained what he was doing and the issues he found, and gave us different options of how to fix the problem. We ended up expanding our scope of work to 2 days and the guys who came out were all polite and professional and made sure to clean up after themselves.
But the real reason for the 5-star rating is how patient Mark was with us; even though we had a lot of questions, he never made us feel stupid for asking them, and it's greatly appreciated. He even laughed at a few of my dad's dad jokes, so 5-stars from my dad too!
We know who to call the next time we have any plumbing issues!

Toilet overflowed on Sunday and Western Rooter was out within a few hours...a few hours earlier than the time frame given when I called. Richie came out and told me exactly what he was going to do and kept me updated throughout the entire process as it was more than an overflow. He went above and beyond and did an awesome job.
I highly recommend Western Rooter as they are reliable, honest, very clean, thorough and leave nothing to question!
Let me just say that their guys in the field are great -- Professional, knowledgable and courteous. But their office staff or whoever answers the phones need to learn a little etiquette especially to long time customers who have put plenty of money into this business. I've been known to clog a lot of toilets I really want to keep using Western Rooter but moving forward I'll have to consider the options.

I purchased a Halo 5 water system for my house through Western Rooter and Plumbing. I was very impressed with the service and quality of work performed at my house. The two service technicians that came to my house was Daniel W and Leo. We reviewed the job before they started and Daniel and Leo made some recommendations on how to get the job done properly. They worked diligently and safely to get the project complete. Towards the end the job, their supervisor Manny came to inspect the quality of work and show me how to use the Halo 5 system properly since he has Halo 5 installed at his house. Great, quick service. We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that was leaking through the ceiling downstairs. The problem was assessed and fixed in an hour. I have used Western Rooter for several years: they saved me when my drain line backed up and flooded on a Sunday morning, they installed and serviced my water heater, and they've done a number of plumbing repairs. I have had consistently good experiences with all of their technicians, but I've had especially excellent experiences with Omar Hernandez, who did a complicated leak repair for me a few months ago, and quickly diagnosed a mystery noise in my plumbing just today. The care and expertise that he puts into his work is obvious, and I greatly appreciate having a plumber who explains what he is doing and why that is the best way to do it. That is incredibly helpful and reassuring. I recommend Western Rooter to friends and neighbors without hesitation -- they even have a clear price list on their website, so there are no surprises.

I was super impressed with Alberto Hernandez, the Western Rooter plumber who came out to our home. He was very friendly and professional. What I thought would be a small task was a BIG task and he worked tirelessly for 6 hours (in the heat) digging up and replacing a broken pipe that was full of roots. The kids brought him lemonade and watched as he worked. He was very easygoing. I would 100% recommend Alberto and would not hesitate to work with him again!
Justin and his crew got my pipes cleaned out from pine tree roots and set a clean permaliner sleeve from the clean out to the main sewer line ! Definitely a man of his word and came through with a professional job well done
Good plumbers are so hard to find but I will look no further. Western's team were amazing. Rene from Western Rooter cleared a drain line clog. He did a great job, was very nice, and charged a fair price. I highly recommend Western Rooter.
Called Western Rooters because of all the good reviews. Had a clog at the main line, team was able to come last minute at midnight for some emergency service. Had them snake and hydro jet it (emergency service 2x the fee) which is fine because they notified me about it prior many times, which I appreciate. Long story short these guys are bandits.. they had me going again for the night but said that I needed a new clean out installed to fix the issue (which I was given two different prices by the 2 guys that were out here -- which made me question everything), later billed me and said that there was a rainy day charge which I wouldn't have minded, but would've preferred if they told me prior to the job. It was late and I was tired. Told them I would give them a call tmr after I sleep on it. After getting some rest, was able to think clearly again, called 3 other plumbing companies, they all came out and ran the camera, and stated that Western Rooter just did the bare minimum and said that the clean out was unnecessary. All 3 companies told me exactly the same thing, showed me a video of the grease buildup which was caked up like cauliflower (western rooters was saying it was roots). and told me that was the issue and told me that whoever hydro jetted prior did a really poor job. Decided to go with another company; they hydro-jetted and ran the machine roughly 4-5 times and showed me the results with the camera (pipe is now clear looking brand new - also apparently I have ABS pipes, which can't root) while Western Rooters just ran it once, hence the bare minimum).
Also, (Western Rooters) the snake they used prior to the hydrojetting snapped and broke. Very dangerous, next morning found that 2 of my sprinkler heads were broken and damaged. Appreciate the emergency service and coming out last minute, but will not use this company in the future. Suggest everyone shop around prior also and get some different estimates and opinions. I believe Western Rooters knew that I had no experience in this field and attempted to take advantage of the situation.
The valves for our washing machine were leaking badly. Several people in my community had recommended Western Rooter & Plumbing on the community FB page. I'm glad I called them. The woman who sets up the Appts took the time to discuss possible days & time frames. Kevin was sent out & he knew exactly what was needed & offered me a discount. Kevin was knowledgeable & quick as well as a really nice guy.
We were really pleased & will be calling them again.
Yesterday I messaged Western Rooter through Yelp; after several messages Adam called about my hot water problem. He walked me through some diagnostics and when we were unable to resolve this the technician was assigned to me first thing the following morning. Charlie visited today and was on time. He performed several steps as part of the resolution process. This did not resolve my problem he went ahead and performed a de-scale procedure. After 45 minutes and some additional testing my problem was completely resolved. I am thrilled to have hot water back. The representatives of this company that I spoke with are professional caring and provided great value!! They took the time to explain in detail each step of the process.
An update to my earlier review after my homeowner inspection visit this morning. The home inspector found a leak from the dishwasher into the compartment below the kitchen faucet. I immediately called your company and messaged them through Yelp and Tony the supervisor visited by my hime within two hours that's impressive! After some observation and testing he found one issue that was causing a number of other concerns. He explained to me in detail what was happening and began to resolve the concern. After the resolution we ran a full cycle of the dishwasher to ensure that everything was working fine and there were no leaks! I recently had to replace my garbage disposal and had an excellent experience with Arnold! He was very polite and accommodating. I picked-up the new appliance at Home Depot beforehand and the installation was expertly handled by Arnold. He was knowledgeable and got the work done quickly. Rene came to install a bathroom faucet. I tore out the old one and I know how difficult the space he had to work in.
He had difficulty in installing the new fixture because of the hardware that we supplied (everything is quick connect but it didn't stop leaking). So, he spent twice as long doing the job. Even with that, Western Rooters' pricing is significantly better than I normally use.

The Western Rooter Crew was absolutely amazing. They replaced our sewer line out to the street using the pipe burst method in one day.
Manny and his guys Victor Hernandez, Victor Huerta, and Rigo Rodriguez were very professional, hardworking, and considerate of our neighbors. We share a driveway with our neighbors and the crew was always willing to adjust as they came and went.
Despite a few hiccups at no fault of theirs (it's a very old house) they pushed through and were communicative and diligent in solving the problem.
We will be returning to Western Rooter for any plumbing needs in the future. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I highly recommend Western Rooter and plumbing. They were able to complete and deliver on a major plumbing emergency in a timely fashion. We needed a new water heater installed and the company that was supposed to come out canceled at the last minute and said we'd have to wait until Monday. Couldn't be without hot water all weekend so called Western Rooter at 2:50pm and asked if someone was available to come out on Friday. He installed the water heater, stuck around to make sure we had hot water and helped adjust the temperature. Had my sink break late Saturday night, and of course no one works Sunday. Finally got someone to come check out my old old 1940 delta sink and after being told by everyone parts are hard to find and no one would want to touch it. I called them the next morning, they quoted a very competitive price and said they could come out in a few hours. They called and were actually able to come even sooner. Pablo arrived and was polite, efficient, and professional, carefully removing the items from under my sink,snaking the drain, and ensuring that there were no residual leaks. He carefully explained what he had done, offered to put the storage items back, and quickly provided an invoice, detailing the company's 30 day warranty. The experience was as one would hope with a solution to a houseful problem- orderly, pleasant, reasonable, and efficient. Added benefit? Pablo was a very sweet guy!

Western Rooter cleared out our mainline and alerted us to a potential issue that we would have to address, 2 major cracks at joints in the clay pipe mainline sewer. We hoped we could limp along for a little while longer and plan a major repair. Murphy's Law Hit hard. 2 nights before departing for a Family trip to Texas those joints failed and it seemed like the line was completely blocked off. We got the options of fixing two spots or replacing the line in full via PIPE-BURST procedure. While we were not wanting to drop the $1,000s of dollars this required, if just made sense and due to the excellent service Western Rooter provided on an old kitchen line replacement in March, it was a no-brainer to have them do the job.
The crew arrived early, the day that we were departing and Arnold, Mark, Derek, Carlos and Albert worked diligently ALL DAY to get the job done. Even after the replacement was complete, our mainline out of the house was still blocked up somehow. Western Rooter did everything imaginable, climbed the roof and cleaned the Roof vents and in the end, our home had Black water plumbing once again.
One's expensive home turns into a tent REAL fast when plumbing and sewer issues pop up. Western Rooter is professional, reasonably priced and also did an amazing job cleaning up after they finished so that my Wife was at ease after knowing how much black water came back up into the bathtub and bathroom.
Thank you to all the crew - Arnold, Mark, Derek, Carlos and Albert. While it was not the expense we wanted at this time, we knew that it was being done right and going to be done once since Western Rooter was tackling the job.

I can't say enough great things about Western Rooter! I hired another plumbing company to install our new tankless water heater and to replace some pipes in our crawl space to ABS plastic, and they did a great job. So when we had some blockage in our main pipe to the septic, we had them try to repair but they kept telling us we needed to replace some lead pipes with ABS plastic (assuming the blockage was just in the pipes without even using video to confirm). So when we experienced another blockage on a Sunday, we decided to call Western Rooter for emergency service and it was the best decision we ever made.
The after-hours operator was so friendly and professional and really managed our expectations properly. Then, Richie showed up an hour later and not only removed the blockage with the snake but he ran video throughout the main pipe to figure out what was causing it so we could repair it (as we were experiencing frequent blockages and soft plugs). He showed me all of the video in real-time so I could understand what the issue was and got an amazing education in plumbing 101. Once he found the issue, he gave us a quote for the repair and Richie came back to complete the project himself. He did a great job with the repair even though he had to dig up 3 ft underground and left the area looking like it originally looked!!
Richie obviously knows his stuff and was a joy to work with. We would recommend him and Western Rooter all day!!! There's a reason why they have the reviews that they do!

We did a kitchen Reno that turned into main gas line excavation and update due to a leak. I know, such a headache. We really didn't know what to do, came on yelp and found western supreme, they are amazing. The response to my message was so quick and they immediately came to the property to do an evaluation. They started working on it that same day and worked up until 10pm to make sure we got our gas turned back on the next day. There staff was so polite and courteous from the main office staff to the guys who actually came down. Joesph was so good at explaining exactly what they were doing answering all my questions and making sure I understood what the next steps were.
Never had work like this done before but the work that was done was very reasonably priced. Would I recommend western supreme? 100%! Will definitely be keeping their number on file although I hope to not see them for a while.

My realtor recommended Western Rooter & Plumbing. I'm glad he did.
They came fully prepared to check my sewer line and discovered some pipe breakage from invasive tree roots. Mark, George and Omar explained the issues and show me video to make an informed decision.
They fixed the sewer line at a reasonable cost. I'm very happy with their work.
My water heater was leaking and they had someone at my house within a half an hour. Very fast in installing a new one. The gentleman were very nice and knowledgeable.

This is a company who stands behind their work. More than a year ago, Western Rooter replaced the outbound plumbing under our house, which was built in the '30s. Over the next year, our toilet still clogged a few times. Then, it clogged to the point that we couldn't plunge it. Western Rooter sent someone to clear the toilet, but he couldn't get it to clear. He went under our house and discovered a section of plumbing that was not replaced in the previous job we paid for. He apologized, stating this was an oversight in the previous project, and he said, let me talk to the owner and we'll make this right. The next day, Western Rooter sent two guys out, they spent half a day rectifying the previous job, and did not charge us additional money.
The company made a minor mistake the first time, but we all make mistakes. How people respond when realizing a mistake was made says a lot. The fact that the company took pride in their work and took ownership for what happened the first time, and then took care of the problem says a lot.
In addition to the fact that all of their employees are extremely courteous, I truly believe this is a company who works with ethical business practices and they will do whatever is necessary to satisfy their customers. I hope we don't need additional plumbing work again, but if we do, I would 100% call on Western Rooter.

I was in a desperate situation when the laundry sink was backed up late on the weekend and soon after it clogged the kitchen sink too.
Having a not so great experience in the past with a very popular local rooter in the area who took advantage of your emergency situation (which is usually the reason why you call a rooter) with varying fees on the spot, I hesitantly gave Western Supreme Rooter a try the next morning. Within that one phone call, I could make a same day appointment and was given a price estimate. Less than an hour and a half later, Kevin H arrived within the promised appointment time.
Kevin did a quick check the line for the laundry and the kitchen and explained what could cause the clog and what he was going to do in simple language. He was also very mindful with the health of his customers by wearing mask the whole time and shoe covers when he needed to check the kitchen. During the whole process, Kevin walked me through all the things he did that put me at ease. My problem was solved in less than an hour and the prices was within the range that was quoted, no surprises. Which I like! And the price was reasonable.
Dealing with Kevin from Western Rooter is like a breath of fresh air with his cordial manner and professionalism from the moment he arrived until he left. It's a top-notch customer service.
If you feel frustrated dealing with a plumber that gives subjective pricing based on your perceived income and likes to play games with the price back and forth between you and their boss, this is not it. And this is a big thing, you want your problem solved with a fair price, done. Not playing games that left a bad taste in your mouth.
I can't say enough good things about Western Rooter with its customer service, professional staff, and reasonable price. I will use them again for my plumbing issues and highly recommend Kevin and Western Supreme Rooter!
I shopped for quite a few places for a place to install a new water heater.... from How depot to places in Fullerton and somehow i ended finding this place that is a few blocks from where i live!!
First of all, great customer service over the phone. Pleasant to speak to and doesn't feel pushy sales person trying to get your business. When the technician came, he was very nice and courteous. Gave me a quote and did not push me to get it done right away. He explained everything to me and the type of heater they carry and was very patient with all my questions.
They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive either, and after reading countless reviews of other plumbers, you don't want the cheapest ones either.
I called again and decided to go with them, again great customer service over the phone, helped me with an appointment quickly and the installation was as smooth as it can be. The technician came with another person to help us haul away the old tank - it must have weighed a ton because it lasted almost 12 years, imagine the sediments inside...
So far so good. Hope there is and won't be any problems. But they made me feel at ease, especially when they are not pushing for a sale.
When called in emergency or not, the techs are always on time professional and extremely knowledgeable! I appreciated the since of urgency and the guidance and direction in what to do.
The staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly. I called in for a gas line detection and they were able to schedule someone to come out within a few days when other companies just deny my request.
Western Supreme Rooter is the best plumbing company. They are punctual , safe, professional, and they do high quality work. They are also reasonably priced and honest.

Richie Ortiz just unclogged my bathroom sink after a certain smell good plumber tried and failed to unclog it and tried to upsell me on a $400 hydrojetting. Richie was polite and efficient and got the job done. Western Rooter is a preferred vendor for my condo association, and now I see why. I will definitely use them again.
They arrived on time and did numerous different things for me efficiently and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. They were very courteous and pricing seemed quite reasonable. They were a recommendation to me from a friend who is a realtor and I am glad I chose to use them. When I initially called to make the appointment the person was informative in setting up the appointment and I was easily able to get an appointment convenient to me.
My main broke close to the water meter at the curb. Western Rooter sent somebody out within 4 hours. The worker was knowledgeable and efficient and they got the job fixed in short order. The work was clean and neat. He also cleaned up the area after. The price was good for an emergency repair.

I've had to use a number of different companies over the years and these guys have been far better than any others that I've used. Not only were the first two that came to see what was needed very thoughtful and professional, but the actual installers of the tankless water heater replacement were equally as thoughtful and professional. They were all very clear on options and explained everything very well. Not once were they condescending as I've experienced in the past. Thank you Western!!!

Hats off to Daniel W. from Western Rooter who installed a water filtering system in my garage. Right from speaking with him on the phone, he was courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable in his craft. You would think that companies would offer you their premium package right from the beginning but not Daniel. Instead, he asked what I was looking for and took the time and effort to send me multiple filtering systems (including Amazon choices) to choose from. This gesture tells you that he is looking for the customer's best interest at hand which is outstanding. Once I selected my choice, he thoroughly explained the contract and servicing process as well as answered all the questions I had. No big complicated words or complex contracts to decipher but simple and easy was the way Daniel pitched it. All in all, Western Rooter needs to hire more professional, knowledgeable, and charismatic people like him as he is a prime example of excellent customer service. We've had Western Rooter at our house twice. Each time we were blown away with their service. The office staff was friendly and provided accurate time windows. They sent Flaco to our home for an emergency call, we had two leaky angle stops. He came and fixed the problem with no issue.
Homar was at our house for a kitchen sink clog and found a major issue. We were terrified at first but Homar and the kind office staff walked us through the process and put us at ease. Thank you Western Rooter for all of your help! You will be our go-to plumber and rooters from now on!
My it was taking a long time for hot water to come through, I needed a honest, dependable company (no more independent plumbers or small time companies) I found Western, gave them a call, the office assistant made an appointment for someone to come out, Oscar came out, looked at my water heater & determined that I did need a new one! We discussed pricing- & agreed! He left went to pickup water heater & other materials, came back & finished the job!!! He was very professional, cleaned out water heater storage closet, I was concerned because water flow in kitchen wasn't full force & he showed me how to take off nozzle & clean out sediment & water started flowing great! Great company and workers! l had a water leak near my meter. They came right away and did a great job even while it was raining.
Today, I noticed water flowing out of a clean out on my patio. I opened it up and water was flowing out and some stuff came out. The shower tub was not draining and we flushed a toilet and it almost overflowed.
I called Western and Bryce was able to be at my house on a Saturday in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Bryce was very professional and explained the issue to me. He helped my understand my system more and where my other clean out spots are.
He was able to break through the blockage and cleaned the line to the street to make sure everything was clear. From start to finish, the process took less than 30 minutes.
Thank you Bryce and Western Rooter for helping me with out today. I highly recommend Western and will definitely call them the next time I have an issue, hopefully not soon!

Our neighbor highly recommended Western Rooter & Plumbing, which she has been relying on for over ten years. She calls them yearly for preventive service to monitor and sometimes eliminate invasive roots from her aging sewer line. So we gave them a call and they came out to run a camera through our line at a very reasonable cost. The previous owner of our house had some work done by another company last year, and according to the Western Rooter & Plumbing representative's camera work, the line is looking good. I appreciate the honesty of the representative and the peace of mind his work has given us. We plan to have him return at least yearly for preventative observation, and for maintenance when needed.
Mark and his team were amazing and we knew were in great hands. Arrived on time and got straight to examining the area and gave us options on the best solution. He avoided cutting out our cement which were scared they had to do in order to get into the sewer line. The damage to our sewer line was more extensive that we initially thought but after speaking to Mark, it was a better option to do a complete replacement to avoid future costly problems. His team worked fast and managed to get this all done in 1 day within business hours. He gave us tips on how to maintain common sewer line issues, which was helpful since things like this never crossed our mind. They replaced everything back to the best that could be done.

There was a small leak in the Pipe connecting from the outside water meter into our home, so some excavation work was required to repair the leak. It was a small PVC pipe that broke, I called a couple companies and western was by far the quickest and very responsive. The service rep Adam was courteous and professional. The had the repair completed in a couple hours and put everything back in place include the patch of grass on top.
One star off is for the price, they charged me almost $900 for 2 hours work! I felt it could have been more reasonable, I didn't really wait for quotes since it's was quite urgent but overall I would recommend them.

Awesome people, who did not try to swindle us with lies. We talked to a lot of plumbers and over half tried to oversell what we needed. However these guys were responsive, provided the information we needed, did their research and provided excellent service. They also provided the work quickly even during the holiday. They were not the cheapest but reasonably priced and knowledgeable. Lowest responsible bidder. Would use again.
We had an excellent experience working with Adam. I called regarding a potential leak that was causing water damage from one of our toilets and Adam showed up to our house within 2 hours! He assessed the problem within minutes and identified some major work that needed to be done. We ended up replacing all of our piping, which solved our leak problems and provided a much-needed upgrade to ensure the longevity of our recently-purchased home. He quoted us a fair price and got to work immediately.
Adam and his crew (Gio and Fernando) worked quickly over the course of 3 days, communicating the whole process to us throughout. They did quality work that we feel very confident about. Adam was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, professional, hard working and a great communicator. Such a great guy! This is the second time we've worked with Western Rooter and this experience was even better than the first! We would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs.

They are very responsive and professional. The problem was that if you're lucky, you'll get experienced plumbers sent over. That wasn't the case all the time with this company. I had an issue where they had sent out different plumbers for the same problem. At first, they insisted that the problem was fixed when it was in fact still there. The first plumber was trying to figure it out for hours when I told him what he was doing wasn't relevant to my current problem. He kept on doing what he was doing anyways. After my second call to the company, the same plumber came out and was doing the exact same thing he was doing during his first visit. The problem was still there afterward. When I called for the third time, they sent out 2 different plumbers, and they finally figured out the problem as I had suspected all along since the first visit!
My complaint was that the company kept on telling me that the problem was fixed after every visit then I came to realize it wasn't. Moreover, they billed my HOA three different time as if they fixed the problem; even though they came out trying to figure out the same problem at 3 different times, they failed since the first time around! The job is paid when the problem is fixed! That is an unethical business practice, Western Rooter! Buyers and HOA board stay clear from this company!

very bad experience. One of my plumbing was broken, they came and checked, gave us 2 options. One is changing all the plumbing,($2900),the other is just repair the broken one($1100), but in this way the plumbing may broken again soon. We choose the changing all option.
After finish the work, the front yard, back yard, the swimming pool all cannot work!!!we ask them go back and check, and they ask for $750+$780 extra fee, for two times!!! But after that, some of our valves cannot work because they broke the wires and cannot fix it.
They helped us find a landscape company to fix it. During this time, one of the plumbing broke again!
After discussion, they finally charge us $2900+$780 for the whole work.
Otherwise, 10% off discount is not applied, because they said the discount is only for small jobs.

Big or small jobs, John's team always does a great job and I'd happily recommend them!
I returned home from a trip and found water all over my downstairs bathroom and adjoining shed. It was late afternoon and I called Western Rooter who agreed to come out first thing the next day, I had a pretty sleepless night. Rene showed up the next day and assessed the situation and started clean up. Tony soon joined him and the two worked all day until after dark and helped me with cleanup and putting things right. They explained to me what they were doing and why along the way. I felt they charged a fair price. I am so grateful for their service and highly recommend Western Rooter.
Called for EMERGENCY SERVICES and they can only book us for 4 days away??? Lies on yelp. Not for emergencies.

First off, this company is reasonably priced. I've been given a ludicrous quote for plumbing work in LA, which prompted me to call these guys. When Richie arrived he was friendly, quickly identified the problem and gave me a list of options to tackle the issue with. He solved the block and pipe replacement on the same day and we are grateful to have this issue behind us so quickly! Honestly, Richie was one of the best plumbers I've ever dealt with and I fully intend to use this company for all my future plumbing issues... which, touch wood, won't be that frequent!

Our tankless water heater died on Christmas Eve. I called Western Rooter at the recommendation of a friend who also had a tankless water heater. He highly recommended them. Now I know why. They came out on Monday after Christmas, diagnosed the problem, gave me a great quote for a new water heater including the installation, and were able to start the next day. Daniel and Leo came to our home on Tuesday morning and got right to work. Daniel explained everything and patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. When they were done, they cleaned up what little mess they'd made and left my garage in better shape than when they arrived. I was very happy with the service and plan to have them perform the annual service for the water heater to keep it working optimally. They were very polite, professional and knowledgeable, did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them.
Arnold come out just a few hours after I called to clean out our bathtub drain. He was professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and just overall a pretty cool guy. Thanks for the fix!

Couple months ago called of 4 plumbers, no answer or no shows. THEY answered their phone!!! Pleasant voice on the other end set the appointment and THEY SHOWED, ON TIME!!! Bryce was very pleasant and fixed our problem with no hidden charges. Today, different issue and Homer came out again on time and very pleasant. Even helped me with a fitting which he didn't have to do. A $5.00 part for a Customer 4 Life! They are great!!!

Very happy with the professionalism and expertise of Tony and his partner Caesar. I would recommend requesting them if you are in need of any service, especially condos that involve intricate plumbing systems! They were able to repair an issue that would have originally cost upwards of $1200 and ended up only costing me $600.
Western Rooter ended up dispatching their supervisor Tony after the original technician (I'll leave him anonymous) who assessed my shower issue never followed up with me. To be honest, he kind of went M.IA. after the initial assessment, which was concerning because I just wanted my shower fixed! Long story short, it took a little bit of work on my part to get the ball rolling, but once the office supervisor understood my concerns she sent out Tony and Caesar, which I'm SO grateful for!

John and Carlos from Western Rooter are AMAZING!! John replied my questions promptly and immediately arranged Carlos to come and fix my clogged faucets. Carlos was nice, professional, and very honest. I came across another plumbing company to check my pipes problem, and quoted me $1200 for all the unnecessary works. Carlos fixed the problem within an hour for just $315 and helped me clean up everything before he leaves.

How many times can you say you've had a plumber in your house and, aside from the problem being fixed, never been able to tell? Well, with the care that Mitch took, you'll never be able to tell he was there. From the moment he entered with booties, to protecting our floors, to draping our sink tops, his respect and care for property was evident and a welcome pleasure!
Mitch was confident, working quietly and efficiently. But, in addition to fixing the problem calmly and methodically, he also took the time to explain what he was doing along the way.
Before leaving, he asked if there was anything else I needed, then made a final check to make sure everything was clean and working.
I can't think of a better experience and truly wish every tradesman rose to the level of Mitch and Western!

My client bought a condo and there was a valve leak that the seller refused to fix. I called HOA and they recommended that I use this company because if you do not reset the water supply stack it can be a $270 - $350 charge. Bogus, I know.
The company sent out Him at and he was great. He tried to fix the problem and spent 3 hours before finding out that it was a valve problem vs the cartridge fix. They did not charge me a thing for the work done that day.
They can back today and fixed the valve and it cost me $630 after the 10% discount. I like how they capped the price so you know they are not just trying to keep the tab running on you.
What I am happy about most with them is that they were responsive and friendly. Homar really tried to keep it cheap for me and fixed the valve making minimal damage. It could have been larger and costs could have gotten out of control.

Best plumbing in Pasadena area. Alberto was really good and actually figured out our problem right away and was able to fix it right away. He came on a Sunday, was fast and efficient and explained to us exactly what we needed to know and what is going on. 10/10 recommend this company.
I called Western Rooter yesterday for a backed up kitchen line and to snake a main line clean out. I quickly received a call back that same Sunday and scheduled something for the next day.
They sent out their plumber Mark Fields who called during the service window to let me know he was on his way and showed up shortly after. Mark did a great job giving an honest assessment and worked dilligently until the tasks were complete. He was conscientious in making affordable recommendations and proceeding without automatically skipping to more costly alternatives like other large Rooter companies are prone to do.
I've used Western Rooter numerous times over the years and would readily recommend them to my family and friends. Mark is an outstanding plumber who is indicative of the kind of service I've come to know and expect whenever I call for service!
When I have called in, the office has always been great & got plumbers out right away who have always been friendly and got the problem resolved.

I called for someone to check out my sewer line and they were able to come by in one day notice. Homar was extremely generous and gave us a free estimate that would have typically costed $100+. He put a camera down our sewer line and explained to us exactly what we needed in detail. He was honest and advised us accordingly.

Highly recommend Wester Rooter & Pluming. I used to do basic plumbing service every 2 years with this company. This is the first time to replace the pipe.
Really appreciate their hardworking with professionals especially during this tough 2020. They use pipe bursting tech replace my 60+ years old pipes only in 1 day. Our kitchen sink clogged on Friday. Called our previous plumber who said he couldn't come out until Monday. Decided to try western Rooter & plumbing based on the great reviews. We had a clog in our laundry line and after reading several reviews on Facebook about Western Rooter, decided to give them a try. I called this morning and by this afternoon Pablo was here, working on the drain. The entire process was easy from start to finish and Pablo explained what he was doing every step of the way. He had the pipe unclogged and working within 15 minutes, much to the delight of the entire family who is eager to do laundry again. As I told him, Pablo was our hero today! Really can't say enough about how friendly, efficient and reasonably priced Western Rooter is. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

John and his team have been to our home for various plumbing services and have delivered nothing but top notch service every time. My family and I have always been more than pleased with the whole service, from notifying us when the technician was in route, to the cleanliness and professionalism through the whole service process.
We recently just had our water main line replaced along with a Halo 5 whole house water filtration system and wow what a difference!! If you want pure, clean, great tasting water to drink and bath with out of every faucet in the house definitely consider this system for the health of your family. My wife and son have been battling with eczema skin issues and we have already started to notice a difference in their skin with the system being installed only a month ago! We instantly felt the difference in our hair after showering, have noticed reduced hard water deposit on all water fixtures and have eliminated the need to buy water for the next 10 years.

We needed our main line flushed ASAP! Within 2 hours Danny Rosas arrived and problem was fixed within an hour! Danny was friendly and patient and answered all our questions!
We learned that the sewer lines from the house to the public sewer in the street had become clogged. That caused a toilet in the garage to overflow considerably. We asked all the plumbers in the 25- mile radius of Pasadena to tell us what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix the problem. Many plumbers came out and gave us their opinions of what was wrong and different approaches to solve the problem. We concluded that Western Rooter was our choice because they had the lowest cost and the best reviews. Western Rooter came out the next day and solved the entire problem in one day. In fact, they added, at no cost to me, two drain cleanout covers in case there is a need in the future. Western Rooter's technicians and workmen were experts in doing the work. They knew exactly how to do the work and how to do it most efficiently. They left everything neat and tidy, as though no one had been there. They definitely deserve a 5-star rating.

Our toilets tub and shower flooded over first thing this morning. I called and was told that they couldn't come until between 1:00 and 3:00 which was great. However they called me a few minutes later and said they had an opening and they could come right then. The plumber did a great job very quick and very clean I'm so happy.
Woke up this morning to a pipe leak, yikes. Thankfully it was under the house and not in a wall or upstairs bathroom. I called Western Rooter & Plumbing at 9:15 am, Johnny and Joseph were at my door at around 11, pinpointed the leak, finished the job in about 30 minutes. I was very pleased to find a plumber on a weekend that responded so quickly and priced reasonably. They're now my go to plumbing company.

He technician was able to diagnose the problem and made multiple attempts to resolve the problem with simple techniques.
Had a major blockage under this old house. Got a service within the hour. Richie Ortiz was our specialist. He was very thorough and accomplished what we needed done. He spent over two hours and cleaned up all our pipes filled with old grease and sludge and cleaned up very nicely when the job was done. I will never use anyone else. Very very satisfied. He explained the process every step of the way.

Updated: our main line broke on our lawn yesterday and we were able get someone to estimate and fix it in a timely manner. Danny is the person that helped us this time. Arrive promptly and great manner. Explain to us clearly about what's going on. It is over 110 degree today but he and his partner work nonstop for almost 5 hours straight. And everything is fixed on time. We are very happy for their service. We called them every time we have plumbing issues and they never disappoint us!!

Tony helped us out with a main line clean-out. He took his time to explain what he was doing and where the problems were happening. He kept the workspace clean as well and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
Richie from Western Rooter is the best! I made the stupid mistake of pouring lye into three of my sinks without running water down them first, which is basically like filling them with concrete. Richie came out and made everything as good as new in a couple of hours - and WITHOUT breaking my bank. Hopefully I'll never do anything so dumb ever again - but ANY time I need help in the plumbing department, I'm calling Western Rooter and asking for Richie. It's so gratifying to find high quality people who do high quality work.
Richie came promptly and fixed all our toilet problems in a timely manner. He was a good listener and provided great customer service.
This is a big project of repairing water heater pipe leaking problem. Vinny and Arnold are professionally detected an issue and suggest to reroute on hot water line to water heater in garage. Adding a new pipe exposed in garage in new type L copper. Strap and secure all new piping to wall and ceilings. Spending whole afternoon fixing it. Fast service.
This place is a joke. It was a challenge getting someone out to my house in an emergency. I had water flooding my bathroom floor. When they came out and looked at the work., they told me my whole sewage line had to be replaced. Quoted me $18,000!!!! Nope!!! They did fix enough for us to be able to flush the toilet. Called another plumber and did the same work for $3000. These places sure know how to rip people off. They also said they had to pull a city permit. We talked to an inspector of our city and they said no we didn't!!!

We were in a crunch when our garbage disposal went out. We sent a message requesting a quote. They called me within 10 min with a quote and had someone at our place a couple of hours later. I did three loads of laundry on Friday afternoon and suddenly around 6:30 PM the bathtub and shower filled up with dirty water! The toilet would not flush. Since it was so late on a Friday, I was worried that we would have to wait all weekend to get it fixed. I called Western and the kind lady on the phone arranged for a plumber to come within the next couple of hours. Johnny Decker and his apprentice showed up and cleared the line in no time, in the dark no less. What a relief. I will definitely call them again when I need a plumber. My husband and I called Western Rooter for my father in law's upstairs bathroom leak. Omar was the gentleman who came out to help us and we couldn't be happier. Omar was very professional and was able to diagnose and fix the problem promptly.
Omar then came to our house and fixed a few small problems we had. We were very impressed that Omar would bother with such small problems, but he was happy to help.

We had a small leak coming from water valve to a bath tub in our Master bathroom. Luckily, the hot and cold water valves are located outside the house. I called Western Rooter and Isaias came out to inspect the problem. He immediately repaired and replaced the cold water valve in a matter of minutes. He was very cordial and explained all the work necessary. Within 40 minutes he had completed the job.
Four days later I inspected the valve and noticed the valve was still wet. I called Western Rooter which happened to be a Saturday and the dispatcher- Heather routed my concern directly to Isaias who came back out and re-tightened all the fittings. No leaks!
Overall, we were very happy with the services and the promptness of handling our situation. We would not hesitate to use them again.

He also took some time to see why my water pressure was low and recommended that I try a few things and gave me an on the spot estimate. I am a property manager, and my tenant's shower would not shut off. She was able to turn off the line to her own condo unit, but then she didn't have any water. Western Rooter was able to come out in a few days (yes, all plumbing companies have been exceedingly busy during Covid-19), to find that there was a broken valve inside the shower wall. The only negative (not Western's fault) was that since the tenant was not available until 3:30 PM, that meant the plumbing job had to go to time and a half, as they weren't able to finish until 8:45 PM. My other comment, though again, not really their fault, is that they had to take out tile to get to the problem. I have seen my tile guys carefully chip out tile (kind of like a sculptor), and get the tile out without damaging it, so they can clean off the edges and use it again. The plumbers took it out such that all the tile ended up in little pieces -- oops! Again, that is not what they are trained for. they made sure the area was clean before they left. So, all together, I very much trust this company, they aren't going to try to gouge you on price, and they are all trained very, very well.
I am super happy with Richie O's work today.
After getting ridiculous estimates from other plumbers, Ritchie came in and handled it for about $200. This man is legit. Def recommend this company and their honest approach to problem solving. Thanks again Ritchie. No one should be washing my dishes in their bathtub!

My plumbing issue started out as preventative maintenance of the sewer lines under the house and an outside drain line. Little did I know I had major root damage to the sewer main in the front yard and narrowly escaped having a much LARGER issue in the very near future! Mark and the street/city plumbing specialists did a phenomenal job fixing the issue and installing a much needed access drain in the front yard, as well as power cleaning the side of the house drain! I would definitely recommend the great men and women at Western Rooter for your plumbing needs!!

I called Western Rooter after the clowns from Jim's Pasadena Plumbing charged me for $450 for hydrojetting (per their suggestion, as it was supposedly safer for the pipes) my slow-draining tub and bathroom sink. The hydrojet did nothing. They then said to resolve the problem they would have to excavate and change part of the pipes
under the tub, which would've cost $4200. Mr. Pablo Soto from Western Rooter came the next day and used a snake to unclog both drains. He charged me a mere $132 and was kind, efficient, and professional. I'm only calling Western Rooter from now on.

Amazing! Justin and George arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. They guessed exactly what the problem was with our leaks from the minute they got to our house. It was fixed in less than 1 hour and we couldn't be happier with their service. I wouldn't call anyone else moving forward.
Technician came out for service on 10/8/2019 to replace 2 faucet valves in the wall, and faucet. When they claimed work was finished, and I tested it with running water, the p-trap replacement still leaked. They did stay and fix it, but they should have checked something as basic as that before claiming the work was done.
The technician was paid with check on 10/8, and the company cashed the check on 10/9. 2 weeks later I received a payment request call from the company that I need to pay for the service. Ended up being clerical problems on their side, but they should double check before calling customers asking for money.
Overall the repair process quality and billing process leave a lot to be desired.
These guys are as professional and easy to work with as they come. Their hospitality & customer service is second to none! Look no further.

Thank you for the good work that you and your employees, especially Bryce Coleman, performed at my home today.
You were not the first Rooter Service that I called. Your competitor came to my home and basically told me that the only way they could unclog my sewer line was to install a main line clean out. While we may want a clean out installed some day, today was not the day. Your competitor tried to talk, guilt, and pressure me paying to install a clean out.
When Bryce arrive he was friendly and professional. He seemed happy to do his job. He listened to my layman's description of the problem and looked at the options. When I suggested a possible entry point (rather than pulling a toilet because we don't have a clean out), he was open to the idea and proceeded to go to work. He removed a P-Trap and was able to enter the branch of the sewer system with the clog.
Bryce brought in his equipment and was mindful of my yard, not wanting to damage the steps, so he took the long way. Bryce did a great job, despite the thorny bushes and back flow that came out of the entry point during one of the tests (both the bushes and back flow were reasons your competitor gave for why we needed to pay for a clean out). Bryce worked quickly and proficiently, but I did not feel like it was a rush-job at all. He was very thorough but did not waste time. We tested the line twice and it was clear on the second test. I was extremely happy.
Bryce cleaned up after himself nicely and left my home the way he found it. Upon presentation of the bill, the amount was fair and I was pleased to pay it. (I should mention that both the person who took my original call and the person who took my credit card information, as Bryce presented it on the speaker phone, were friendly and professional.) You have a great employees.

Just had an epoxy resin coating done by Western Rooter last week and it seems to have been done well. Camera work was done before the job to show issues and problems with an existing 40 foot cast iron pipe under a concrete slab and spray coating was recommended by multiple companies.
This pipe has given me problems off and on every 1-3 years over the last two decades. I have dealt with both roots and obstructions. Western Rooter explained the process and recommendation the clearest with the least pressure. Their estimate was extremely fair and competitive to others so I went with them. Plus they seem the most truthworthy by reputation and they did not disappoint.
Truthfully I may not know for years exactly how successful the spray coating will work out but the after camera work and explanations of the product give me high confidence.
Props to Justin for his patience and explanations, to Daniel for his spray coat expertise, and Byrant, for making the job go smoothly and professionally. These guys left my place cleaner than when they arrived.

A first time apartment owner and landlord, I needed major plumbing services within the first 6 months of ownership. The first time was a series of gas leaks which were quickly repaired by Western Rooter. The second time was the significant work of adding 2 gas meters and the requisite task of re-routing/adding gas piping. I simply cannot recommend Daniel Westereng and Western Rooter enough. Although the owner John came out to assist in the final bid, Daniel and I worked consistently with SoCal Gas to coordinate the improvements. Daniel was quick to return texts, calls, e-mails and worked diligently with all the parties to get the job done. If you need a plumber, save time and call Western Rooter. I have my mainline drain cleaned yearly due to root issues. The company I had been using had raised their prices. I checked with Western Rooter & Plumbing and was quoted $100 for a mainline maintenance cleaning. Renee came out and spent probably an hour making sure my line was clean and clear of roots. He was extremely efficient and concerned and gave me suggestions for a more thorough hydra jet cleaning should I opt to do that in the future. No pressure at all to have it done, merely a suggestion. The $100 charge was $25 less than many other companies charged for the same service. I was very pleased with the service and with Renee's customer service and demeanor. Last night, water started leaking from the ceiling of the living room. As a bathroom was located above the leaking area, I suspected a breakage of a pipe running toward to or away from the bathroom.
Today morning, I sent a request for quotes through yelp to multiple plumbing companies near my place, and Western Supreme Rooter was one of four companies who were willing to send a plumber even today was Sunday.
When I talked to the operator, she said a plumber would come to my house between 11am and 1pm. And a plumber, Homar, came to my house at 12pm which I liked because they kept the appointment time.
Homar opened the ceiling drywall and found two leaking parts from a pipe supplying cold water to the bathroom. He cut out the old pipe and replaced with a new pipe, and the work was simply done.
The repair was not looked complicated, but he did everything from the beginning to the end carefully and professionally. After he finished the work, I asked a few more questions regarding other plumbing issues in our garage and bathroom, and Homar gladly looked over the issues and explained me what is going on, which turned out to be something that I really did not need to worry about.
I satisfied with his professional work and highly recommend Homar and Western Supreme Rooter for any plumbing issues.

We have a bathroom sink that, over time, started draining slower and slower. It finally got to a point where water was pooling in the basin. We called seven plumbers. Five would not give us even an estimate of what the cost would be. ( I understand that might be an industry standard for some companies, but as a customer, having an idea of what I'm going to pay, even a ballpark amount is important to me. ) Western Rooter not only gave me a price range, they came in toward the lower end of the range. Additionally, I was able to get them out to the house right away. They gave me a two hour window and I got a call 15 minutes into it that they were on their way so I wasn't left waiting. When the plumber (Pablo) arrived he was very polite, professional, and was a great representative for the company. He made sure to keep his shoes covered, hands gloved, and face masked. He was in and out very quickly and left zero mess.
If you need a plumber, I couldn't recommend Western Rooter highly enough. For our need, they were a perfect match.

This was our third dealing with Western Rooter. Each time was with Charlie. He was efficient and very neat. He had suggested that we install a cleanout to make it easier to access the sewage system. This week we did so and also replaced the 60 year old sewage system. We found that the metal pipes were deteriorated and in fact caused a blockage. Charlie and his crew, Domingo and Flacco, coupled the job in 2 days, were neat and cleaned up well taking the old pipes with them. John the manager-owner followed up a few days later verifying their work. I would highly recommend this company and their work! I give them 5 stars!

Recently we had a plumbing issue (clog) near our kitchen area. The bathroom was also clogging up. I called Western Rooter over the weekend. They called back in 10 minutes and had someone over by next morning. After 10 minutes they identified the problem. They fixed the problem in no time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the bill as I was expecting much more. Already recommended them to family friends.

We were having a swim party in our yard and woke up the morning of the party to all of our first floor toilets and the tub stopped up.... Yuk!
I called our plumber but he was going to a wedding. He recommended three other plumbing companies... only Western Rooter answered and was able to send someone right away. Unfortunately, he had some trouble and the issue was not cleared up before our party. Luckily, we had another bathroom we could use over the Memorial Day weekend. We had our usual plumber over on the Tuesday morning for advice and then we called Western Rooter and they came back before lunch on Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon, we had a new liner put in our extremely old line, some new piping put in to connect to the sewer system, the very deep hole refilled, the grass put back over the area, all cleaned up and the grass watered. After a rocky start on Friday (to be fair it was a very stressful morning for us all trying to make decisions as guests were due at 11!), everything was handled quite well by Mark and his crew from then on. The crew members were all very polite and hard working. In the end, we are pleased with the outcome. It is a relief to know that we have a solid upgrade to our system. Thank you Western Rooter!

This is a review for a Free Quote that I got. I was having a leak on my bathroom so I scheduled an appointment to look at the problem and get an estimate. This was probably the worse company I got a quote from.
This is what happened basically. It was a very rare light drizzle weather in SoCal and the technician just walks into my house with muddy shoes into the wooden floor and the carpets... Common sense would tell you to either take off your shoes or wear one of those shoe covers that every company had when they came to check out my problem.
The technician didn't try very hard to give me a quote or detect the problem. He basically said I needed to reschedule because he needed a ladder and a 2nd person to give me an estimate.
So all this person did was make my house dirty and nothing else.
Richie Ortiz did an excellent job fixing our leaking toilet. He responded promptly and worked efficiently. He also did a good job of answering my questions and he did a careful assessment before proceeding with any work.

Early on a Wednesday morning an employee of the gas company told me he was about to replace the meter, at the curb, but found the main line running to my house was corroded and leaking. I was given 48 hours to replace the yard line.
My preferred plumber, a small operation nearby, was too busy to take on the work. A larger shop nearby was booked solid for over a week--however, at my request, he provided as estimate for what he would have charged.
I relied on Yelp to locate three other shops within a 30 mile radius; two of which arrived by noon and provided quotes.
Oscar Quintero, from Western Rooter, gave an estimate comparable to the one from the local shop and said they could begin work the next morning. The other quote was excessive so I went with Western.
Early Thursday Oscar and a four man crew including Cesar, his righthand man, arrived and started the 30 yard trench that would go through the front yard, under my garage driveway, and through the planter in the narrow space between my house and the main driveway.
The trench would be over 30 inches deep for the poly gas pipe and would go under the garage driveway without having to break it open. The driveway proved to be a challenge, probably because there is a lot of rock under my property, but they resolved it after an hour or so by employing different techniques. Never once did anyone lose their temper and all remained focused on the challenge.
After nine hours, and a short lunch break, the trench was completed, the pipe was laid, the trench was refilled and the crew was ready to depart. At that point they were exhausted but still no complaints--only good moods. Oscar said they would be back the next morning to make the connections to the meter and to a good section of existing pipe near my water heater.
The next morning Oscar, Cesar and an assistant arrived and completed the work within a few hours. I cannot speak for everyone at Western Rooter but the five men sent to my house were exceptional craftsmen and I am pleased to recommend them to anyone who ends up in my unfortunate position.

We had no more hot water, so I checked the water heater and found that the pilot flame was out. I followed the instructions on the water heater to try to relight the pilot flame but it didn't work. I called Western R&P the next morning around 7am and scheduled an appointment for 10am-noon. Vinny called around 10am and told me he would arrive in 10 minutes. When he arrived, I explained the issue with the water heater and he checked it and gave me some options to replace the pilot ignition assembly first, and if that didn't work, then we would have to replace the electronic gas valve unit. Since my water heater was over 10 years old, I opted to replace the entire unit rather than trying to repair part by part. The estimate I was given was fair (didn't feel like the lowest and wasn't the highest, although I didn't put in the time to compare by calling other plumbers since I wanted to have hot water back the same day) and he would be able to remove the old heater, install the new heater, and haul away the old heater in a few hours. Vinny worked pretty efficiently and cleaned up after his work and my home had hot water again by 1pm. All the paperwork is electronic so there are no receipts to lose for the standard 6 year warranty. I'd be comfortable with calling Western R&P when I have plumbing needs in the future.
It was a great experience to have OMAR HERNANDEZ to come to my house and fix so many plumber issues , I was hesitated to hire a new plumber since last two plumbers never did a good job, it is a headache to pay someone , and never solve the problem.
The weather was so hot, but Omar worked very hard to fix all of the leaks, I really appreciate, and happy that all of the problems are gone, highly recommended !!!

Two of my yard drains were blocked by tree roots and I contacted Western Rooter to come take a look. John was able to come the next day and according to his card he is the CEO! Anyway, he was very nice and offered me hydrojetting of the two drains for what I think is a very reasonable price. Josh came to my place that same morning which is helpful since the forecast predicts heavy rain the next day. He came with a big industrial strength hydrojet truck which was quite impressive. Unfortunately the front yard drain was too blocked with roots to even allow hydrojetting. He did check the rest of the line via the other drain basins. He was able to clean up the other blocked drain in the back yard. He was super nice and took his time to check all the areas and explained things to me. Without me asking, he offered to discount the original price considering one drain is too blocked and will need to be replaced. I am impressed with their professionalism and willingness to work with customers.
Called to get a kitchen sink unclogged. Got an estimate on the phone. They came the next day and was finished in an hour. Courteous and professional. I will gladly use them again!
We contacted Mike Diamond to have a water main line replaced and we rec'd a expensive estimate. We contacted Western Supreme Rooter for a second estimate. Western Supreme Rooter's price was half the price of Mike Diamond. We decided to go with Western Supreme Rooter and the job was done quickly, on time at the quoted price.

I admit, I was looking at the reviews on Yelp. I just wanted to see who is close by my house and could get here quickly to root my kitchen drain. Western Rooter specifically Robert showed up exactly 1 minute early at 8:59 - went right to work on my drain and had it cleared out within a couple of hours. It was a struggle, I had a lot of sludge in that line.
I am also in the service industry, and am used to people pulling BS. Robert was straightforward, honest, and I can't say enough good things about the work he did as well as Western Rooter. These guys are always awesome. I've had them come out to fix various leaks within the walls of our house and they are always professional, courteous, honest, and on time. This morning we needed plumbing help for our kid's bathroom and a plumber arrived on time as promised in a uniform. We were happy someone was able to come out and unclog our kitchen sink. After making the appointment with Daniel, he said he could send someone out in two hours. We were happily surprised when Pablo called an hour later saying he was outside our gate.
Pablo did a great job trying to understand the issue and figuring out the best way fix our problem. For a moment we thought he was going to have to leave for the night and return the next day with our sink still clogged. These people took over another plumbing company, so my call was routed to them. They first sent Danny, who took apart one broken faucet, then left it in pieces on the sink, claiming he needed special parts. He looked at the other two sinks and said they were too complicated. His assigner said their best guy was out of town but could call back in a week, which he did. Mitch seemed confident he could fix the faucets, but wanted me to go to a supplier and order the faucets. I asked him to choose whatever would work as a replacement. He never called back or repaired any of the three faucets.
Update: the owner of this business made a generous offer to make things right. It was too late; we'd already hired someone else but I felt very listened to and have no doubt they earned their many good reviews.

Yall are crooks. One of the plumbers from your company gave me an estimate of 1400 for the job. My brother knows plumbing but didnt have the tools for this job. He had to come down from his other job and ask the plumber why he wants to charge that much. The guy explains it to my brother which my brother said it didnt make sense on why he wanted to suck out water that was barely there. The plumber ended up revising his estimate to $650. The guy goes and gets the part after digging for 5 mins comes back and replaced what he needs and fixed the pipe. The pipe job took 20 to 30min. My family has dealt with this company a long time and last couple of times was the worst. Never again.
I cannot say enough about this company. Daniel is the most conscientious and accommodating associate one could ever hope to do with business with. The entire experience was a complete pleasure, which one does not usually associate with Plumbing companies ( do not get me started on what a rip off Gem Plumbing is). We are so grateful for the expediency, professionalism and overall customer care we have received with Western Rooter and Plumbing. Finally, a plumbing company in the area we can depend on.
The people picking up are inconsistent and if they tell you they will call you back they won't. I've called them to change they garbage disposal and help me change the filter for the RO and they quoted my for $180, I'm ok with that. They said they will call me back and they didn't so I called them back two hours later and Josie answered the call, she quoted me for $270 and rudely told me they won't be responsible if the filter leaks. I told her about the quote before and she ignored it. I've done business with western rooters twice before and they were good but this time they have really dropped the ball. Shame that I will have to find another plumber as I will never do business with them again. Unprofessional and rude!

We called last night at 6pm to have someone come out to fix a leak behind our fridge. The leak was coming from behind the shut off valve, and turning it off did nothing but build pressure and make the leak worse. Ruben came out by 7pm and started working right away. He informed me that he had to cut the hole in the wall to see where the leak was. But fortunately he found it without having to do that. He let me know what the problem was, and that there was a few options for fixing it. He then went straight to work and even went out to Home Depot to get the part he needed.
He cleaned up after and helped me move the fridge back into place. Really great service, professional, friendly and great price.

It's hard to find a friendly, trustworthy plumber in this day and age, but we were extremely happy with Western Rooter. They sent over a technician named Tony who was very pleasant, easygoing and knowledgeable. He worked with me in identifying a smell and truly cared to diagnose what was going on as if it were his own home. Don't hesitate to give them a call!

Jared was great. Courteous and knowledgeable. Had a leaking shower. Needed new cartridge, but old cartridge was basically stuck, caked in by 10 years of deposits. Jared spent over 90 minutes carefully chipping away the deposits and plastic, trying to preserve the valve. Finally got it removed and not without a ridiculously hard effort! Replaced it and tested, and now it works. And I am now more knowledgeable about Delta shower cartridges! Thanks Jared and Western. Always dependable. Solid work. Would recommend Jared to anyone!

I had a terrible experience w Western Rooter and their unfair pricing scheme for a Smoke Test that cost me $450 w/ questionable results that cost me greatly.
I had a smell problem with my pipes and called Western Rooter to come out and advise on what the problem could be. They suggested I do Smoke Test. It was $450. The test was done in 45 minutes. It consisted of two men blowing smoke down one of my three exhaust pipes and looking to see what cracks in the walls smoke came out in the bathroom.
The problem. This test if far from conclusive. More then one room filled with smoke, the basement did as well. They couldn't deduce why the smell was coming from two places in the house and why the smoke from the basement. Without that questioned being answered, they're suggestion was to knock down the wall and replace the exhaust pipe for another $1700. This would not include the price of repairing the wall.
I could not afford either of these services and resorted to getting the pipe snaked instead with another of their contractors and that was close to $200. He did a great job and was a very nice guy. All of the employees seemed honest and fair to me. The pricing is not fair.
When I called management hoping to have a sympathetic ear, I was told at most I could get a 10% discount. I asked what the cost breakdown was for the service. She told me the two men were paid $90 per hour. The smoke canister $30. So where does the rest of the cost go to? If the entire work on the pipe is $1700 then why is a 45 minute test $450? When I asked the manager if the price seemed fair she said Yes its fair to me.
I request that Western Rooter create a tiered system for smaller homes when doing the smoke test.
The Smoke Test plus snaking of three pipes came out to $580. If that seems fair to you, use Western Rooter.
Lesson learned. Ask about all the costs associated with the job in detail before they start. A more conscious company would have explained this before they entered my home saying they are here to help.
Big thumbs up for Pablo. He was very helpful and knew what he was doing. He explained what caused the problems and recommended the best solution. Job got done in a timely manner. Ask for Pablo!!!

Western Rooter sent Justin to repair the toilet seal leak that was under warranty from work done few weeks ago. Justin insisted that there is no leak and insisted that we pay $60 for service call that is under warranty. Look at the attached photos and judge for yourself if there is a leak or not.
He was sarcastic and said that he wished he could eat at a restaurant and just tell the restaurant that he is not paying.
BTW, this is on top of the work done by Adam a few weeks ago who kept up selling us. We had a clogged toilet, he sold us on $99 main pipe unclog, which we did. Then $550 hydro flush and toilet seal fix, which we got talked into and did. Then he wants to sell us $6500 to replace the main pipe altogether because he said that the main pipe had collapsed during the hydro flush. We asked him how does he know that since the camera cannot go that far, he does that have an answer. We did not do that.
Guess what, the day after the hydro flush, the toilet and bath tub started backing up into our home ruining the tiles and harwood floors! We NEVER had a backup before. When Adam came out, the toilet was clogged only. It was not backing up. Adam did come out again and used the hydro flush. We asked him how can the backup happen the day after he had unclog the main pipe, he did not have a good answer either.

I want to update and change my review from one star to five stars. After I posted this review, the owner had immediately messaged me via Yelp the same day to email him what had happened. He apologized to me and gave me a full refund and even offered to come and do the inspection. I am completely thankful for John being responsible and how swiftly he handled this matter. Even though the inspection was incomplete and I wasn't able to find out the condition of the sewer line, I'm really content with how the owner handled the situation. Thirty minutes late, the sewer inspector came and went up the roof to inspect since the house has no clean outs. Still charged $175 even though they couldn't run the camera through. Not happy with the inspection, couldn't even do the inspection but still charged. The inspector then went on to write in the report that there was corrosion but my question is how does he know for sure if he couldn't even get the camera through??
What seemed like almost two hours, part of him being late, and then I don't know what he was doing twenty minutes in his car after he said he couldn't do the inspection, I was completely frustrated so I called the company again. I asked them that do I still have to pay for the full price even though he couldn't even do the inspection or determine the condition of the sewer line? And the lady told me yes, even though he couldn't do the inspection that I am being charged $175 for sending someone out to El Monte.
Moreover, he didn't even go under the house, it was the termite inspector that went under the house to find that there was a major shower leak in the plumbing.
Overall, I am completely frustrated, because in the end, I still don't know the condition of the sewer line and what kind of material was used, and as a first time home buyer this is really important to me.

We returned last night from a weekend trip to San Diego. We come home to a hissing noise and realize that we have to call the plumber but it's Sunday of Memorial Day weekend...have no fear!
When my sister called they were very friendly and said they would come within the hour. The man was very nice and very honest. It turned out that there was a pin size hole in one of the tubes so he replaced it.
It is $135 an hour for the service. I think it's pretty amazing that they're open 24 seven
These people are going to be the go to plumbers for my sister moving forward!

I am very satisfied with their service. The plumber, Tony Bernal, was so thoughtful to his customers. I had several issues in kitchen and different bathrooms. Unlike other plumbing company, without looking into it carefully, they just suggested to replace the whole sets of faucets. Tony took the time to see if any parts of the systems could be replaced. And indeed, he saved me lots of money. I will definitely use their service again in the future.

On 11-24-20, Manny and Oscar did an excellent major plumbing job at our home. They were professional, hard working, timely, and charged a reasonable price.
Would like to say that this Company is the best Plumbing Company I have ever dealt with!! Besides their awesome technicians and professional office staff no job is to small!!! I moved from the valley some time ago after retirement. I had a very good relationship with this company and have to this day kept in touch. I now live up by the Great Lakes and live in a area somewhat prone to tornadoes so we have basements. Long story short, I had a problem with my water heater and contacted John B. for some technical advice. He figured my problem out over the phone!! So, because my water heater was still working but who knew for how long....I decided to have a back up on hand. After having problems trying to find a replacement, I again talked to John B. to try and find a suitable replacement. John said let me research the specs on the old one and I will call you tomorrow. John B. called me and told me he could get me a replacement drop shipped to my house. And he meant it, it arrived today and will work out perfectly when the old one dies out. I have never in my life expected to be able to call a company in So California and have them take care of my Plumbing problems all the way in Wisconsin!!! Now that is customer service!!!! I used Western Rooter for my home and business. And just so happens that Justin came to both.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful. She was able to give me next day appt for my home and same day appt for my office.
For both appt, Justin came on time. He was very professional. I was super impressed for my home appt cuz i was by myself at home. Other than the time he was actively checking on the plumbing, he stepped outside of my house to do calls, paperwork, etc. There was no uncomfortable or awkward downtime. He even cleaned up after himself after both visits.
Justin came as 2nd opinion for my office. Again he was professional, courteous, and efficient. One thing that was nice was that he let me know his opinion without bad-mouthing the previous plumbers.
So save yourselves the hassle of looking around. CALL THEM FOR UR PLUMBING NEEDS.

I had a stopped up kitchen sink that I tried to unclog for hours with my sons help. We finally admitted defeat and called Western Rooter. The service that I received was outstanding ! I would say that they are efficient,capable,reliable, friendly and thorough. I will definitely call them in the future for all of my plumbing needs.
Just had Justin (and now Omar) from Western Rooter out to diagnose a long-standing problem we've been having at my complex and he was great to deal with. Both were extremely polite, thorough and took the time to explain the issue (roots in the pipes) to both me and the owner of the property.
I can't comment on the pricing/costs as I'm not the one paying the bill (I'm the tenant/renter) but the service itself was excellent and after MONTHS of having multiple other companies out that simply rooted the pipes, it was great to have someone go more in-depth to find the issue. He was able to get a camera down there and find two spots where we have cracks in the pipe and roots are getting in. He also gave us a gameplan of what we can do to get it fixed and (pending the owner approving) they were willing to start tomorrow to dig up the concrete and get the permanent fix in place. Considering the work he did today, I'm hoping the property owner continues to use Western Rooter and we move forward with the suggested fix.
UPDATE: The following day Omar and Justin both came out to fix the source of the problem. They used cameras and sensors to find exactly where the cracks/roots were in the pipe, cut out the concrete and dug down to fix it all within a day (in TWO different spots!). They then cleaned everything up before leaving and set us up with a concrete guy who is coming by tomorrow to put things back the way they were. Amazing work, start to finish!

When your toilet, shower and your tube start to bubble it's never a good sign.
And usually this always happens right before the holidays for us. You are always afraid of the extra cost you might be charged with. Western plumbing was amazing. They came by within 2 hours and because we made the call before 5 p.m. they did not charge after hour fee even if the plumber came after 5. They knew exactly what was causing the problem and within 30mins the plumber fixed it. Clean work, super friendly and answered any questions we had about the plumbing issues. Please give them a try.
I really hoped I would get great service from a local business like Western Rooter. They're just a hop, skip and a jump away from my house.
My toilets had backed up recently, and I needed emergency service. A woman answered my call and said all her workers were out in the field. Not a problem I suppose, so I left my contact info and hoped to hear from them again.

We had noticed a gas leak around the house and called the gas company to confirm that there was an actual gas leak. Decided to call western rooter and they sent over Oscar and Victor to first diagnose where exactly the leaks were at, and then they gave me a quote for how much it would cost to fix all the leaks. They fixed all the leaks within a day and tested the entire system to make sure it doesn't leak anymore. I was very happy with their work, and can't recommend them enough for gas line repair work.
Western Supreme Rooter is professional all the way! The sewer line from our house to the street was broken in a few places and in need of replacing. WSR replaced the line in a matter of hours, and left the front lawn looking as if nothing had happened- they cleaned up everything. WSR is our go to for all our plumbing needs. We've used them to replace our garbage disposal, a water heater and now the line to the street. We trust these guys and the quick efficient service they provide. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and nice! Easily a 5 star business, and I highly recommend them.
I had toilet issues and they came a half hour after I called. It turns out that they had to pull the toilet and it had roots that had seeped into the pipes which blocked the flow going out. The plumber, Pablo, was the best one I ever had. He was very professional and did a great job, and was also very friendly and had a positive, upbeat attitude. I would like him to fix my plumbing issues anytime I have them. And the price they charged was very reasonable.

So first off I've used this company three times for my grandma. She lives with her sister, but neither of them have a clue about plumbing. Unfortunately she's been ripped off by other professionals more than once. The first time I used to this company was for a clogged kitchen sink (which I watched him work with scrutiny), overall good work nice guy. Second time was for a new garbage disposal, again I liked the plumber they sent out and really liked his work. Third time, I couldn't be there to watch the plumber work (to fix a shower drain), but I felt confident in this company and their previous work. My grandma LOVED the plumber they sent over. She was literally praising him for the next week saying how this gentleman took the time to explain what he was doing. When I got home and double checked the work, I was not disappointed. I'm glad I can send this company over to fix whatever plumbing issues she might have with worrying she's going to get ripped off!

I called another company to clear a toilet that wasn't flushing. They came out TWICE and were unable to fix the problem. Then I called Western Rooter... Adam was delayed at his prior appt, and arrived about 30min later than my scheduled appt window. But he was very pleasant, apologized for the delay, and was able to fix the problem in about 5 minutes! Adam's service more than made up for the delay. I will definitely use Western Rooter for future plumbing needs.
Had a plumbing emergency and called to get a quote. The plumber came promptly within the hour and drained the clogged pipes. Bryce was very professional. We would recommend this company.

I can't tell you how happy I am with the service I received from Western Rooter and Plumbing.
They were the 4th plumber I have called in the area since we had a pipe break in June. I am a absence owner.
Cesar not only showed up when he said he would and gave us a bid that was acceptable. He did a complete plumbing job of the whole unit. He did a great job in a very timely manner. AND when the upstairs unit began leaking into mine right after I had it all repaired Cesar was back within an hour, assessed the situation. The office Called the upstairs neighbor and assured me it was all under control. And it was. They were happy to provide insurance for the HOA.
I am very pleased with the efficiency and work done by Caesar and Western Rooter & Plumbing. My contracter said he was so impressed he would be using them again.

Called Western Rooter again for another toilet issue. The tech is excellent. Highly recommend Western Rooter!
Prior to contacting Western Rooter, I had already cleared the drain twice myself in the previous month. Only when the drain backed up a third time, did I call Western Rooter. I have used this service in the past when I am unable to remove a clog, and have always found them to be excellent.
The response was great. I called Western Rooter at 2:50pm on a Thursday and Danny Rosas pulled up to my house around 3:30pm. Danny evaluated the situation, provided a quote and attempted to clear the sewer pipes. He quickly realized that there was a larger issue and needed additional help to check the extent of the problem. Within 30 minutes a second truck pulled up to the house with two additional plumbers and a camera. While Danny ran the camera, Johnny and Pablo crawled under the house and found a leak in the cast iron pipe. I had previously checked the pipes, but I didn't perform the thorough inspection Western Rooter did.
At this point I elected to have the sewer system repaired, to replace the cast iron laterals under the house and clear the underground clay pipe to the sump pump pit. Since it was now 5:00pm, we agreed that a fresh start in the morning would be best. Danny, Johnny and Pablo returned on Friday promptly at 9:00am, and worked until the job was completed at 7:00pm.
The job included removing and replacing the cast iron sewer pipe under the house and cutting the concrete patio in two places to reach the underground clay pipe. Once the dirt was excavated with a shovel, we could see where tree roots had broken the clay pipe. A fiberglass pipe liner was installed inside the clay pipe, and the fiber reinforced clay pipe was attached to the new ABS plastic pipe from under the house. The access holes were backfilled, the area was swept and all debris was removed. On Monday Western Rooter sent a concrete contractor to repair the access points by pouring and finishing two concrete patches.
Great job!!! Timely, friendly, professional, competent and thorough. Thank you Western Rooter.

I had a great experience with Western Rooter. Vinny and his team were very professional and friendly. I had an issue with a leaking vertical sewer pipe, which was located behind a wall. The team inspected the pipe and walked me through the various options and benefits/costs of each. After initially completing the work, they found some additional holes in a connecting pipe. Instead of trying to upcharge for the additional work, they completed the additional repairs at no cost to me because they wanted to make sure they finished the job in its entirety and leave me with a functioning pipe system. They are very honest and really went the extra mile to make sure the job was done correctly, even though it took them several extra days to complete it. I would highly recommend Western Rooter for any plumbing needs.

About three days ago, a pipe underneath our water heater started to leak into the concrete slab of our house. As close as we were to Christmas, we were worried that we would have to pay an exorbitant price for the repair and possible work to the foundation. Our situation was dire and we needed a solution quickly.
A friend of ours recently had a water heater put in and recommended Western Rooter & Plumbing to us and I cannot tell you how glad I am for that. In previous repairs in our house, we had used companies that overran their quote price and were chronically late. These issues may be common but I was hoping to find a company that was both reliable and true to their word.
This, thankfully, was the case with Western. Our primary point of contact and plumber was Josef and he was prompt, on point with his quote and diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. As an example, I was told he might arrive for an estimate between 1:30 and 3:30 and he arrived at 1:35. When he and his team arrived for the repair job, they came twenty minutes early. When the project finished, it was exactly as quoted and the work done was exactly as described.
In the end, we replaced our water heater, had our pipe repaired and addressed the water leaking through the floor, all in a single day! We went from having no water to our kitchens, bathrooms and facets to hot water and peace of mind knowing our house is secure from water damage once again. I honestly cannot recommend Western Rooter & Plumbing enough. We are extremely pleased with the work performed and the cost was on point and reasonable.
This review is for the services we received at our place of business, from Josie (through the phone) and Isaias (the tech that came out to help us out). Both were exceptional in terms of customer service; polite, quick, and efficient. Isaias actually came out to the location earlier that we had expected him; which was terrific, since a plugged up toilet is NOT great for business.
The first try didn't get it; he left, and it was clogged again. He came back the same day and was able to de-clog the pipes with a 100-ft thingie majiger (yikes!)

While I was out of town, wife called to say that kitchen drain was clogged. Western Rooter popped up in Yelp, so I sent her the number. The next day was Sunday, but they came right out, fixed the clog, and said to avoid using the disposal (this always strikes as odd since we are all told to install one). I've heard this from other plumbers, too. Wife called to tell me that WR was fantastic, reasonably priced, AND to leave them a stellar review. BTW: she has NEVER said this before about any vendor.

Just moved in to a condo and the water heater stopped working. Gas Co. came out, had red tagged it and turned off the gas to the tank. I called several companies but Western Rooter was the only one that could install a new tank that day (I had called at 4pm) - and for a reasonable price. They were out at 6:30pm that NIGHT with 2 people - they really are 24 hours! Installation was only a couple of hours - and I had hot water within one hour after that. Definitely recommend this company. When you call in they are polite, they do all they can to help you, and their field staff are friendly and very competent. I highly recommend them - especially in an emergency!
Our toilet was leaking so we called Western Rooters. Danny showed up within the promised time window and got straight to work. He showed me the red flags along the process to educate me on the reasons why my toilet was backing up. I felt very comfortable with him and earned my trust immediately. I may need to replace all my pipes in the future, and when I do, I'll be sure to hire Western Rooter.
So , I have used Western Rooter 3 times now. Once for a Kitchen sink issue, once to install a new water heater and once to fix a toilet issue. Each time the job has been done clean and professional and I was happy with the work. Each time also, that was awesome , Is they came out the same day each time within hours and not just to look and quote the job, but to do the job that day if needed. Impressed each time. Recently I thought I had another issue with a job that was done before. Western Rooter sent out one of their supervisors Omar Hernandez to check it out. Omar handled what needed to be done and advised us. They could have found something to charge us for , but they are honest and have integrity. Mitch and his team are amazing. They were able to replace all of the pipes in our 90 year old home. Their work is beautiful, they did it in less than half the time that I expected them to, and they didn't charge me nearly as much as I had anticipated for such a large job. Definitely they are a quick responder while I requested a quote through Yelp. John, the owner, responded to my issue/quote within 5 minutes. $90 within the hour plus other costs for parts. But there's a 10% discount for new customers. John told me to either call them tonight or the next morning when they open at 7am to schedule the appointment. I chose to call in the morning. Spoke with a cheerful lady, Kaitlyn or is it Katie? Anyway, she was delightful and told me that someone will come in between 9am-11:00am.
Vinny came in at 9:00am. Professional, courteous, and awesome. He knew what he had to do and finished his task within 20 minutes. He cleaned it up and tested it. Job done! He had a cute mustache that I forget to compliment. But I was overjoyed that the dripping had stopped. It was leaking about one gallon every 3-4 hours. Thank you, Vinny! And thank you, John! I might need to do research on a water softener because we have hard water in the house. I will definitely call this Company back when we are ready to install one.
Issue: I had a Delta Faucet that was leaking in my bathroom tub/shower. I googled it and YouTube it and it says I need to change the valve cartridge. Of course, my folks didn't trust me with the task so they wanted me to hire a professional to deal with it. All the faucets are Delta that came with this house built in 2007. Most Delta Faucets are warranty for life. So I called Delta and they sent me the new cartridge. Normally a valve cartridge is about $45+. So that saved us some money. It came within the week.

Just had my kitchen pipes snaked and disposal replaced. Quick response time and excellent communications. Everything was explained upfront what worked was required and the cost. Robert Montano was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and neat. He had great recommendations for preventive care in the future. Would highly recommend them to friends, neighbors and family.
They've done two jobs for me. One was replacing a long, damaged a sewage line 7 feet deep (at it lowest point) and they recently returned to clear out a different sewage line for $150 ($30 of which was for travel (which was fair considering where I live.)They were awesome. The first job I believe cost around $7,000-$8,000 4 or 5 years ago, which was a very competitive bid at the time and they did a great job and stayed on schedule. And they kept me appraised of any problems they ran into. They replaced the whole pipe and connected it to the city's lines at the demarcation point. And additionally they did it in the allotted time they said it would be done.
Just honest competent people. That's really all I ask for and they delivered. That was my experience and it seems from the other reviews these experiences were not flukes.

Western Rooter and Plumbing is an amazing, professional, service that goes above and beyond your expectations.
John instantly replied to my quote request and told me to call at 7am. When I called, I got an appointment the very same day, which was not the case for the competitors. Their prices completely beat out the competition.
My kitchen sink was horribly clogged and Justin fixed it in 2 minutes. Afterwards, he made sure there were no leaks and cleaned up. He was a great conversationalist, very polite, kind, and gave helpful tips on how to make sure it never happened again. He worked overtime and charged me nothing for it. He went out of the way through horrible traffic to get to me. He also hooked me up with a 10% Yelp discount before he left!
I called Western Rooter late Friday afternoon, they arrived 15 minutes later. Omar has great customer services skills, He is knowledgeable and competent. I gave Western Rooter's number to several of my neighbors.
I would highly recommend them!

The guys at Western Plumbing.. Specifically Richie, Mark, and their crew... What can I say? Far surpassed my expectations.. They were reasonable and honest. They arrived on time and kept me informed every step of the way. My knowledge was limited but they were patient and took the time to explain the work. As a homeowner, I greatly appreciated their outlook and the advice given. I'm glad I used them and will use them again.

As a property manager for the past 11 years, I have literally dealt with hundreds of plumbers on all sorts of jobs, big and small. And over those 11 years, only a handful of plumbers have been able to rise to the occasion. Recently, a colleague recommended that I give Western Supreme Rooter a try, and I am so happy that I did. In the past year that I have been working with them, they have been nothing short of excellent. They are easy to get a hold of, they show up on time with the equipment and parts needed to get the job done in a timely manner, and they have excellent customer service for my clients, which makes me look good as a property manager. Can't say enough good things about Justin, Mark, and the rest of the crew who came to the rescue when the ancient cast iron sewer pipe at my home finally could be hydrojetted no more--too many breaks, too many tree roots. Using ingenious technology, they replaced it in a single working day. Professional, competent, and courteous. Everything you could ask for.
Both toilets were backed up, and I couldn't clear the line myself, so I got onto Nextdoor and most of my neighbors seemed to recommend Western Rooter, so I gave them a call. They gave me a 2-hour window for their plumber to arrive, and he did arrive within that window. The service technician's name was Ruben, and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and ready and willing to get the problem resolved.
We agreed on snaking the main line from the roof, and he had to bring in a 2nd plumber for that task. The 2nd plumber arrived soon after, and they had the blockage cleared very quickly, but ran tests in the bathroom just to be certain the problem was completely resolved.
Ruben told me up front that it would cost $200 for the job, which is consistent with their price sheet online.
From the dispatch person, to the accounting staff, to the technicians (Ruben & Homar), everyone was fair, friendly, and fast. I would definately use Western Rooter again!
We had a slow draining tub for about a month- used Draino, snake and nothing worked. My daughter couldn't even take a shower anymore because the water wouldn't drain. I've always dreaded calling a plumber because I've heard horror stories about how much they cost just to show up at your house. I yelped for a local plumber and immediately got a couple bids. We got the best quote from Western Rooter and they were able to show up at our house within an hour. Daniel was awesome and very professional. He snaked the drain in a couple of minutes with his heavy duty machinery and even gave us a couple of good tips to prevent this from happening again. I hope we never have the need to call a plumber again, but if we do, I'm definitely calling this company!! My fear of plumbers is gone now Thank you so much Daniel and Western Rooter!!!
The guys from Western Rooter are professional and friendly. Adam came out in the morning first thing, as I had requested, to hook up my new gas dryer and check out a leak in the water line to the house. He was very knowledgeable about how this dryer needed to be hooked up to code. I had been running it for years in a dangerous configuration. I have also had a new water heater installed by Western Rooter which was a little more complicated as I was having them remove the tankless one we had. They had to rework all the venting and install new hot and cold water lines as well. I have also had various other plumbing work done by them as well and was always happy with the work they did and the time spent to do it right.

I had an excellent experience working with Daniel W. who is very efficient, courteous, professional and thorough. He installs our whole house filters, explaining everything he did before and after work was done. I can't say enough good things about Daniel, and will use Western Rooter again for my plumbing.I would definitely recommend this company!

My water heater decided to break right after we bring our 1 week old baby home so I called Western as they're my go-to resource for all things plumbing. I called around 9am and was told someone will show up between 10-12am and right around 10:30am, Carlos and his crew showed up.
I've used Western many times so I know the folks that work there but I haven't met Carlos before but was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism even though he's probably one of the younger ones there.
Long story short, Carlos and his guy ordered a water heater for me (told me everything about it, and why so I'm comfortable with it), pull out the old one and in goes the new one. Connected everything and even helped me adjust the water pressure at my house so it's a bit stronger while checking out my bathroom sprinkler to see if he can make it stronger as I had some questions about why it's not coming out as strong.
Everything was done in less than 2 hours if you don't count waiting for the water heater delivery but I know a water heater usually lasts 8-12 years so I want to make sure I don't go cheapo on it and have it come back to haunt me, we're back in business with hot water running and even better water pressure than ever!
I highly recommend Western Rooter, they will make sure that customer satisfaction is number one, even jobs before I had done that had gone a week over the 1 year warranty they came and helped repaired it with no cost. Trust these guys, they stand behind their work and they will tell you straight up on everything, the workmanship is tops, thank you Carlos and the crew at Western!

Justin, Mark, Albert, Omar & team are the best! What started out as a preliminary inspection for a clogged drain turned out to be nightmare each step of the way. All in all Justin & the team diagnosed the collapsed main line and proceeded to replace and restore it to brand new ABS lines. Justin walked me through each step of the process, answering my questions and providing a viable solution. These guys are true professionals with grit and superior techniques. They went above and beyond multiple times and the end result is excellent by far. This company shows it values its costumers by sending out the best team that treats their customers with respect and pride in their work.
Great service from start to finish. Making an appointment was fast and easy. The woman I spoke to on the phone was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She was able to give accurate estimates for different possible scenarios/services. The technician, Ruben, arrived within the scheduled window. He was professional and knowledgeable. He took his time to diagnose the problem, checked multiple areas of the house, and fixed the problem I had with a clogged bathroom. I felt he was very honest and gave us great feedback and recommendations. Pricing is also very fair and affordable, compared to other companies I've worked with. We remodeled our kitchen and laundry room. Western Rooter helped us to reroute the gas line and laundry hookup. They were easy to work with, fast and affordable.
