1930's house in Alhambra with cast iron mainline!!! With all of this rain we had roots growing into the main clogging everything. Jorge and his crew found the roots with cameras and cleared them out!! Also added a trap which many of these older homes don't have. This makes it easier access for any future plumbing problems.
On one of the coldest days in Los Angeles they fixed the problem in one day. Up to 5 crew members working at one point.

I contacted Properly Done Rooter & Plumbing Service.
Jorge C replied quickly gave me his price and available times.
We setup a appointment time 9-10 am, he arrived on time. I had a kitchen faucet that was leaking from the pull out sprayer. I bought a new one from Home Depot.
Jorge had to cut the old one off due to the screws being corroded. When he tried to install the new faucet it was missing some parts, brand new in the box.
I had to return it and get a replacement, Jorge said to call him when I have it and he'll come back to install it. Got a new one a different brand, Jorge installed it everything looks good. I was in a rush to bring my car in for service. I didn't check the faucet. later when I got home there was something funny about the faucet it couldn't turn to far to the left side of the double sink.
I contacted Jorge through Yelp told him about the issue, he came right over the next day to adjust the faucet, no extra charge.
I would highly recommend Jorge and Properly Done Rooter & Plumbing Service.
Jorge was quick to respond, polite and professional.
Had a really good experience with this business! Had a tub faucet that would not come off. I tried banging it with a hammer, heating it up, and resigned myself to just calling a plumber. They were so quick to take my call, told me they could get to my place later in the day, and got the job done quickly! My faucet was indeed stuck to the pipe so I'm glad I didn't go around putting my full weight into it and just called a professional. Good pricing and good work!
They responded promptly and came out the same day to help fix my clogged sink and broken hardware. The cost was $150 which I've found to be a standard cost. I would recommend them for any plumbing issues.

Called Properly Done Rooter for an estimate on what I thought was a simple cracked water pipe. I Spoke to Jorge he was very attentive and arrived within the hour. He went under my house and informed me that most of my pipes were broken and corroded due to the age of the house. I had no idea how bad this was. She showed me the pipes and they were really bad. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and quoted me a price. Which was beyond reasonable. Jorge and his workers were here until 8:30pm and they did an amazing job with everything. Don't hesitate to hire Properly Done Rooter for any for your plumbing needs they were FANTASTIC!!!
Excellent service and high quality work!!! So impressed that they were able to service my washer and leak within hours of contacting them and the work was excellent. They were very responsive, very professional, provided high quality work and fast. They are also very honest which is important - I had another company insist that I need to order replacement parts to repair my washer which would cost almost the price of the washer itself. I contacted this company for a second opinion as it was highly ranked on yelp and they were referred to me by a friend and I'm very pleased I did. I had everything repaired without replacement parts within hours for half the cost. Highly recommend- will be a repeater customer. Thank you!
Raul and his team are amazing!!! I had to separate my one water meter into two and I interviewed a lot of plumbers and a lot of them either didn't know how to separate it or they wouldn't do that work at all.
Fortunately I discovered Jorge and Raul ! Raul is dependable and knowledgeable and super honest ! I appreciate him!!
My shower tub got clogged at around 11pm. Started looking for a plumber and got a couple of replies. Jorge replied back within 10mins. His quote was very reasonable, so I decided to move forward with him. He told me he can stop by the following day between 8-830am (pretty quick for a late message). He arrived a couple minutes before 8am! He tried unclogging the tub, but had difficulties. He went underneath the property and noticed an issue with the plumbing pipes that were causing the clog. The quote increased couple hundred bucks because the job had to be done underneath the property. He managed to unclog my tub, installed new abs pipes and a new bath waste drain kit. 100% satisfied! Will use him for future projects...

He's also very responsive on yelp and communicates really well. I messaged him earlier today in the late morning and we scheduled something for this late noon. Jorge and his team did an amazing job with my emergency call. They came right over, provided a decent quote and once we agreed on the price/time they got to business. My family has since used his services for other work in our restroom.
I called Jorge on a Sunday after our water heater wouldn't light. He not only showed up that day but he, Raul, and the rest of their crew returned first thing the next day to install a new tankless water heater. They were skilled, efficient, and professional. Jorge also installed a new outlet in our bathroom and did an amazing patch job to the wall.

Our kitchen sink had a leak and we couldn't trace it. I was concerned to be away from home while having anyone inspect the sink, but Jorge and team came quickly and provided a quote and service on the same day and were very communicative along the way.
The work is great, the interaction was easy and I would highly recommend using Properly Done Rooter & Plumbing Service to anyone.
These guys are honest and fair. I got other high quotes but they solved the problem by thoroughly examining all angles and saved me lots of money. And they responded quick and repaired same day. Highly recommend.
We hired Properly Done to replace two aging drain pipes that were slowly weeping inside a wall. They were fast, clean and professional. They left almost no trace that they had been working in the wall, except 2 brand new drain pipes. It took a lot of stress out of the situation for us, to have the work done so quickly and without any problems.
I'm sure we'll be seeing Properly Done more in the future.

My 93 year old mother's fifteen year old water heater died on 12-30-22. On 1-1-23 at 5 p.m. I was furiously calling plumbers-- finally the ninth plumber, Properly Done Rooter (Jorge) answered the phone on the holiday and said he would come the next day! Jorge was early, and very nice, very efficient, calm, knew exactly what he was doing and installed a new gas water heater in a short 40 minutes. He cleaned up afterwards and took the old water heater away for free! Other plumbers finally got back to me the following day and gave me pricing much higher then Jorge's price. So hard to find an honest reliable and reasonably priced plumber or contractor these days. From now on, I will only call Properly Done Rooter for my family's plumbing needs.

Jorge & his crew just left, they are total professionals. We had an outdoor drainage problem, and Jorge quickly resolved the problem in under an hour with a combination of hydro-jetting and camera inspection. His response time was FAST, he offered a very competitive quote (online), and arrived PROMPTLY the next day!! Moreover, he hydro-jetted all of our outdoor drainage lines (it's kind of a connected network) *several times* to make sure they were completely clear & draining properly, then they carefully cleaned-up before they left.
I will be calling Jorge & Properly Done Rooter & Plumbing Service for all my future plumbing needs! (They offer the full-range of plumbing services.) Jorge is the owner/operator & makes sure the work is done well. Excellent, 5-star work and a pleasure to deal with. Use without hesitation.

So their description lists everything that they do, including leak detection...until you call them and they say they don't do leak detection.
I have used Jorge and his crew for several jobs now. The first job was for a clogged laundry drain and few leaky faucets in the house. Next, I had a broken water heater thermocouple - the safety device that keeps the flame lit. They came out on a Sunday and fixed it but advised I start looking for a new water heater. They were right. A few months later my water heater broke and I had them install a tankless water heater.
For each job I checked prices and they were always the lowest or near the lowest. They were fast, efficient, clean, and low priced. Highly recommended.

Five star team!!! Jorge originally was called to inspect the water pressure of the shower. Upon assessing the pipes, he noticed that they were a ticking time bomb as they were the original pipes from the 60's of when the house was built. So we went with a complete re-pipe of the house and upgraded to copper. They also changed out the drainage pipes too. I had called around and many other plumbers quoted a higher price and a longer window of completion. Jorge and team were done within 2 days of the project and with a fair price.
They did such a great job, I called them back for another project. They installed a 1.5 wall furnace unit and they were done in one day. Again, I was impressed by their professionalism, cleanliness, and the overall results.
I would highly recommend Jorge, Raul, and team.

Jorge and his team are quick to respond, reliable and dependable. We had to use them three times in two weeks and each experience was great. Kitchen sink install, fixed a bathroom shower and a leak outside. Would definitely recommend!
Warning - if you live in a nice neighborhood these guys will overcharge you. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until I had to get more work done on my house and hired another plumber for similar work that was half the cost. Not only that, the work they did was NOT properly done. I was told by a contractor and an inspector (two guys coming from two different companies) that on one of the jobs Properly Done Rooter did, dirt was not filled back in to support a pipe that they had replaced, and without the support of the dirt underneath, the pipe would sag over time and cause a ton of damage and would ultimately be extremely costly to fix. Don't be deceived by the other great reviews, these guys will not always get it properly done.

Recently used Jorge and his team to repair a leak. He is fair and reasonably priced. His crew came out the next day and made the repairs, cleaned-up afterwards and were respectful and courteous the whole time. I would definitely recommend them. They give free estimates and warranty for work preformed.
Jorge goes above and beyond! I almost used Jorge on my last project, and I'm so glad I called him this time. He's incredibly responsive, professional, and efficient. When I was in New York, he followed complicated directions to enter my house and fix a sewage back-up while an AirBnb guest was out doing errands. Then, he came back the following week to replace a sewage pipe that 2 other plumbing companies have fixed in the past 6 years. He discovered that the pipe they fixed was shoddy, and that there was yet another pipe that was completely eroded and needed replacement. He crawled under the house, which is on a steep canyon hill, and took video for us. I didn't even pay him for the sewage back up for several days, which I feel badly about, and he did the estimate for free. Just a great experience, which you can rarely say about plumbers. 10 year warranty.
Contacted Jorge when we noticed we had a leak under the house and the guys arrived inspected the issue and began working on it to avoid any more of a mess did an amazing job and finished the work right away and in a good amount of time, good to know I found someone I can rely on recommend and use for any and all my future projects and issues.

Jorge and his crew came by and fixed a clog and replaced a garbage disposal. They were all very nice and competent and cleaned up after. Jorge didn't charge me the $200 some other places on here wanted to just to bring a disposal. It was also really hot inside my place and they didn't complain. Top notch.
My store in downtown LA had a toilet overflow and Properly Done came within an hour and half. I tried calling others companies but they would scheduled too far out. Properly done came to snake my drain and put a camera to find the issues. These guys were fast, reliable and did the job. Recommended

Jorge and his team were responsive, quick and well priced. I had a kitchen drain clog that was overflowing. It was somewhat complicated to snake and had to be snaked from the roof with an extra long snake.
They provided a quote over the phone and came out same day. It took a little less than an hour to clear the clog. Would recommend to others.

After a previous company came and failed (didn't fix the problem, estimated a very expensive solution), I called Jorge to address a slow tub drain. The best price!
Had a simple job of extending a branch of the natural gas line from the kitchen outdoors to a new bbq grill. This required running a line from under the crawl space of the house. Jorge and his team went under the house to be sure and came back with an offer of $400 to do the job. I asked how long it would take and he said about 2-3 hours and that they could do it today!
Work was done as predicted and very well done. Works great and looks excellent.

I had another plumber come out and give an estimate earlier that day that was $1000. I asked how long he thought the job would take and he said 3-4 hours and starting selling me by talking about how he wouldn't know what was needed till he got into the job and there might be this and that. He didn't even go under the house to actually see what was needed. I said, so...your hourly rate is over $300 per hour?? Of course he said it was by the job, but again I pointed out, if you think it will take 3-4 hours and you are quoting $1000 then you are essentially valuing your time at over $300 per hour.
Thank goodness I had an electrician over at the time who overhear and told me that the job should be between $400-500 tops.
I would hire Jorge and his team again for excellent work and fair pricing. I appreciate how quickly they responded and that they were honest and considerate with their estimate.

My toilet was clogged and they were very responsive at coming to fix it! I do think their prices could be a little cheaper but if you want it done, they are quick! They also changed out my toilet the next day and cleaned up the mess; they left everything well put together and neat. It's never fun dealing with plumbing issues but they made the process smooth and quick.

We had several things in queue for work, e.g. Shower lost heat, faucet replacements.
I contacted them and Jorge was very responsive with the inquiry. Fabricio came right away to check out the work for a free quote. The cost was reasonable and took into account the entire project vs per item. They were not pushy and will just tell you how it is. i ended getting their service right there and then.
2+ months after, i had an observation on the shower handle and wanted somebody to check it out. Again, very responsive with my message and Jorge came right away to check. No issues. They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.

Had a dishwasher leak and they came within 24 hours to take a look. The two gentleman that came were very courteous and knowledgeable about the problem. They immediately knew what was wrong and fixed right away. We have a newborn at our house and the thought of not having this fixed same day would've been horrible. Luckily they knew what they were doing! Highly recommend :).

Our water heater stopped working early in the morning, so we needed a replacement ASAP. I called a few places and ended up going with Jorge. He responded quickly and worked with me to pick up the water heater I wanted. Unfortunately for me, I chose one that didn't work for our application. Jorge and his team were good enough to bring one that did fit our need. These guys worked hard and did a great job. I also appreciate their warranty, which shows they stand by their work. So far the water heater works like a champ. I would highly recommend Jorge and his team.

I needed both a gas grill connected and a pilot light relit. Properly Done responded to my appointment request almost immediately and had a technician out the next day. Within 24 hours I was in business. The pilot relight was a quick fix, but we had issues with the on-hand parts for the grill. My technician visited Home Depot twice in order to get the right parts and stayed late in the day to get the job done. I'd highly recommend them.
Woke to a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain. Contacted Properly Done, they responded immediately, and was able to come first thing in the morning. Identified the problem quickly, had the necessary piping and was able to cut custom lengths. Easy to communicate with, highly recommended!
They showed up on the day they said they would, gave me a quote for a reasonable price, got the job done and even filled me in on the future maintenance of the fixture installed. I'll definitely work with them again.

I was slightly frustrated with my home warranty company, so wanted to find an alternative to finding someone to fix my clogged garbage disposal. I put out a general message on Yelp and pretty much instantly, Jorge replied back with a scheduled list of availability. I had a couple of questions and before I know it, I had someone at my door 30mins later. My garbage disposal was declogged and the price was better than the service fee charged by my warranty company. I loved that I was able to get service the same day and within the hour. The bonus is, I was shown what I can do should the same issue occur again in the future. I was told they do a lot of other services as well, and will certainly have their number handy for future needs.

I had them install a water pressure regulator. They were surprisingly responsive, providing a table of the choice of hourly-windows and coming in expected time, and charging reasonably.
My kitchen sink was leaking from the drain garbage disposal. What was a small leak turned into a major one. Couldn't use it until Properly Done Rooter came and fixed it by replacing the whole disposal in only an hour. They did a great job quickly. Thanks!
Straightforward no nonsense review of our plumbing. Made some great recommendations, fixed toilet and bought one new one. Very good, reasonable prices and prompt service. Hired these guys to fix a backed up bathtub. They arrived on-time within a few hours and fixed the problem immediately.
I contacted Jorge and Properly Done to give me a quote on moving my water heater and replacing it with a tankless system. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was looking at/for, what they would need to do to install it, and then talk through some options before getting me a quote.
That same day, I'd been repairing my fridge and the tech noticed a leak in the water line. While Jorge was looking at the water heater, I asked if he could take a look at the fridge line, too. He said of course. I didn't need to schedule a new appointment - he fixed it on the spot. He was efficient, did the job well, and the price was very reasonable, especially considering he wasn't even planning on doing work at my home that day.
This may be a newer company, but Jorge and his brother are super experienced and trustworthy. I'd highly recommend giving them your business.

I recently had an emergency with my water heater at a pretty late hour of the night and Jorge responded almost immediately to my inquiry. When I bought my condo, I was glad to get it, but it needed repairs. Raul came out and fixed leaks, changed a tub spout and valve, installed a new water heater with a recirculating pump, and a water pressure regulator. Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, my disposal unit needed a replacement pretty quickly. An initial diagnosis over the phone and text with pics was quick and courteous and they were at my place within 2 hours. Within 35 minutes, the unit was replaced and everything was better than ever. Raul and his brother Jorge answered my Yelp right away and best yet came to fix my problem within an hour! Problem solved.
Our second time using this company and both times our expectations have been exceeded. This time we had an issue that required immediate attention and when we called on a Saturday they answered right away and came to our home very quickly. The issue was solved (and explained well- which I always love.) Raul was very friendly and the prices are good. We will definitely be using him and Jorge for future plumping needs and would recommend to friends and family!

Jorge came out promptly and made the fix to our water heater for a great price. I had a couple of issues with our heater after the repair (not the fault of Jorge). I texted Jorge and he came back on two separate occasions without charge.

Jorge is great! I had a jammed garbage disposal. Requested quotes on Yelp, and he was able to come over within an hour and fix it in 15 minutes. He was so nice that he didn't want to charge me for the easy fix, but help is help and should be compensated! Would definitely call Jorge again with a future problem.
