Our tank water heater went out and George at AA twin brothers plumbing was able to replace it the same day for a great price! He was efficient, nice, reliable and gave us tips for prolonging its use. They put on shoe covers before coming into our home, walked me through the step-by-step process of what they needed to do, executed the job efficiently and despite all the hurdles they had to jump through dealing with our HOA and landlord, they were still extremely wonderful to work with. I will be honest that my expectations for a plumber are very low: at a minimum someone who doesn't make the problem worse, and at best maybe fixes the problem. I can say without a doubt that George and his colleague went above and beyond to help us out.

Not only did George make it out the same morning we called him, he kept us updated and explained every step along the way, making sure to listen and take into consideration the things other plumbers had previously done to patch and not fix the problem. Unexpectedly, they stayed late into the evening to finish the extra work, never looking frustrated or taking shortcuts throughout the process.

He apprentice was equally kind, respectful, and thoughtful, even going above and beyond to try and not disturb our baby while doing his work. Appreciate the team and would absolutely recommend and use again!

A A Twin Brothers came out a year or so ago to fix a gas leak at the hot water heater. This company was the one that could come out the soonest and would not charge us an extra emergency fee. They worked with our work schedule and came out later that day.

George was patient and easy to communicate with. Be it with a man or woman (he interacted with both of us), he maintained the same communication style and provided clear explanations. Very nice guy and very professional.

It was a hard leak to detect and he worked for quite awhile to figure it out. Once he did, he explained what he was doing to fix it and how much it would cost. I appreciated that he worked into the evening, without giving up, and telling us it was nothing. Definitely won professional determination points from me -- inspired confidence in his skillset and craft.

I called the gas company to test and turn our gas back on the next day. Everything checked out and they cleared the repair as safe

My almost 21 year old water heater finally gave up last night. I didn't have a go-to plumber and selected AA Twin Brothers based on the reviews. George and his helper came over to take a look and give my water heater it's last rites. From there, he gave proceeded to give me my options and explained each of them very well. I really felt at ease with George, that he wasn't trying to sell me a bill of goods, and proceeded to have him replace my water heater. It was a smooth and very clean job!

I've been in remodel hell and don't think I would have made it through if it weren't for George. I've never met a plumber that's so kind and honest, and takes so much pride in his trade. Our kitchen sink backed up and after spending a few hours trying to clear it myself, I decided to call in a professional. I called on a Monday morning and they were able to send someone that day, unlike a couple other plumbers that I'd contacted. George showed up and quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me options at different price points to fix it.
He was extremely friendly and professional. While under the house, he discovered a small leak from one of our drain pipes unrelated to the clogged drain and gave us a very fair price to fix it.

Short version: HIGHLY recommended.

Longer version: we needed a plumber to fix a number of minor issues -- clogged drains, replacing a gasket in the kitchen sink faucet -- and one major one, replacing a leaky, 14 year-old bathroom faucet with a new one. I've called other plumbers for minor issues in the past and been somewhat dissatisfied, either with the work itself or the cost. One wanted to charge me for coming out even after they said they couldn't fit me into their schedule for three months.

After striking out with a few other places, George of A A Twin Brothers Plumbing returned my call, spoke to me over the phone about my needs, and gave me a rough estimate of the costs, outlining how the price would change depending on the severity of the problem and the parts needed. I scheduled him for the following week. He arrived, assessed the situation, told me the cost would be in line with his estimate, and took care of everything in just a few hours for a very reasonable cost. And apart from all that, George was personable, meticulous, and took pride in his work. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.

We needed a plumber to fix a number of problems in our kitchen so I researched and found 4 highly rated plumbers on Yelp. My spouse called the 4 plumbing companies and 3 of the 4 came to our house to see what we needed to have done, for us to interview the plumbers, and then get estimates from them. My spouse spoke to the 4th highly rated Yelp plumber on the phone to discuss the scope of work and the plumber requested text photos before providing a low-ball estimate.

We needed to have the following work done:
* Remove the kitchen sink faucet, filtered water spigot, sprayer, dishwasher air gap, and garbage disposal air switch to allow repair of the granite and caulking the 3-basin sink by a stone repair person
* Replace the on-off water valves with better on-off valves under 2 kitchen sinks
* Install a new kitchen faucet & new garbage disposal air switch after repair of the granite and caulking of the sink
* Re-install the filtered water spigot and dishwasher air gap
* Realign drainpipes under the main 3-basin sink with a steeper angle to prevent dish soap suds from backing up from 1 side of the basin to the other side of the basin while washing dishes.

After interviewing the plumbers and reviewing their estimates, we selected George Veal of AA Twin Brothers Plumbing because he took the time meet with us, he understood the complexity of our kitchen plumbing issues and what we needed to have done in our kitchen. What we liked about George was that he was really detailed oriented, he took the time to give us various options and he provided us with a detailed and fair estimate.
We scheduled George to show up on the same day as the stone repair person. George and his assistant, Jose, arrived around 10AM and finished the work about 8PM. We really liked how organized and clean George was. They both wore masks and booties inside the house. George laid cardboard on our wood floors and then placed all his tools on the cardboard to protect the floors.

George also looked at another problem we discovered, a toilet that had leaked. He referred us to a water damage restoration company to open up the drywall and remediate for mold and bacteria. We were so pleased with the quality of George's work in the kitchen that we had him come back a few days later repair the leaking toilet. George showed up on a Monday afternoon, removed the toilet and discovered that the drain flange and wax ring was not installed properly. He gave us 3 options to solve the problem. We decided to go with the best and more costly option and George was able to schedule the repairs for the next day in spite of his busy schedule.
The next day George and his new assistant, Misael, showed up in the afternoon. In addition to installing a new drain flange, they added a 2x4 wood support between the floor joists to support the drainpipe, reinstalled the toilet, and caulked around the toilet. He also referred us to a carpenter to repair the drywall.

George is personable and friendly. He also takes the time to train and mentor his assistants while working. And he knows other small business repair people that he can refer such as the water damage restoration company and carpenter. Overall, George deserves 10 stars for the quality of his work, his knowledge about plumbing and the various options, and his work ethic. We definitely recommend George Veal and AA Twin Brothers Plumbing.

My neighbor, who is unwell, had a clogged sink. I called AA Twin Brothers for her and paid the bill. They came out the same day, a Saturday, and took care of it in less than 30 minutes. They gave her a discount and they were on their way.

Call George now. Just do it! You won't regret it. He is the best technician we've ever had at our home. He has now replaced the pipes under our leaky kitchen sink and he's serviced our water heater.

Both visits, George arrived exactly when he said he would. He has the shoe protectors for floors and keeps his mask on the entire time (both visits have taken place during covid).

But most importantly, he is such a delight. Truly one of the friendliest people we've ever met :) Super easy to talk to and never made me or my husband feel dumb (even when he came just to re-light our water heater pilot because we didn't know how)...

We haven't had too many other technicians at our house, but I also think A A Twin prices can't be beat.

We called Twin Brothers after a previous plumber that was referred from a friend ghosted us. We had small jobs around the house and the big job of a whole house water filter. George clearly communicated all of the steps for all the work done. Going out of his way to get replacement parts for corroded fixtures (the previous plumber told said we had to replace everything...), and taking the time to thoughtfully install the whole house filter. He even came back later to check on it and make a few tweaks.

I feel so fortunate that I found George of AA Twin Brothers Plumbing through Yelp. First time we worked with him, he cleared a backed up bathtub and kitchen sink for our tenant. He not only solved the plumbing problem, he also took time to clean the bathtub and sink! My tenant and I were both so thankful.

Then last week our building had a sewer blockage. He came at the end of his day, and pulled out 30+ wipes. Three days later, the sewer is blocked again. This time on a Sunday -- his off day -- but he got my text and he was at the building within an hour, pulled out 20 more wipes, and didn't even charge me for the second trip!

Mind. Blown.

And I know what you are thinking, who the heck flushes a whole box of wipes down the toilet? I may never find out, but I'm sure glad I have George on my speed dial.

Our 8-year old water heater stopped working. George came to the rescue. He was able to replace the unit within 24 hours. Seamless scheduling and communication. Unlike other plumbing companies, George provided a narrow arrival window and gave a courtesy call when he was nearby.

We recently called AA Twin Brothers Plumbing for a clogged toilet. George came out, took a look and was able to resolve our issue very quickly and explain possible long-term resolutions. During his service call we really liked how kind and helpful he was and the way he represented himself and his company and decided to ask him to help us install a new tankless water heater (and move it's location around the house!).

We had a very old tankless water heater that came with the house when we bought it. Our kitchen was barely getting hot water (maybe after it ran for 10+ minutes, but that's just wasting water at that point) and we were getting cold sandwiches in the hall bathroom (not great for visitors or our son's bath time, brrr). George was able to get us a quote the same day and came out to do the installation a few days later. His work was impeccable and you could really tell that he took pride in his work, didn't cut corners and got the job done right. Just like the first time we met him, he was very friendly and answered any questions I had about the unit or the installation. We now have reliable hot water throughout the house!

George's approach saved me money and got to the root of the problem! My hot water started cutting out inconsistently! George patiently tested a few fixes when others would have gone right to replacing a 3 year old tankless heater. Ultimately to find the problem was in my gas line and needed a fix by SoCalGas. He's responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely wants to problem solve to help people...such a good guy!
He and his crew wore masks, (and those booties inside the house to keep floors clean) kept their distance - and together we followed all COVID safety protocols.

Couple years back he installed my street to house gas line too! Same excellent work and experience.

This is my second review on AA Twin Bros in the past two months, and I am still so pleased with this company as well as their staff.

After my boss's house plumbing backed up twice in two months, we knew we had a problem.

I called AA Twin Bros plumbing and someone picked up immediately. I had requested the same technician that came out in April, but he was not available. Instead, George came out who was just as skilled and professional. He was on time, respectful and quick to the point.

Within an hour, George had already identified the issue and was generating a quote for approval.

He walked me through what needed to be fixed and made me feel comfortable and confident.

With any big repair, I am always concerned someone will take advantage and keep tacking on costs.

When George first broke ground to repair/replace the damaged portion of the pipe, he called me immediately to let me know that more work had to be done than expected.

He stopped working, explained the situation, and explained that he stopped working entirely so I didn't feel like he was adding on more costs just because. He wanted to give me a chance to get a second opinion if needed, since the work estimate had doubled. I did have a second person come out for a quote, yet felt more comfortable with George and his crew.

His crew was polite, on time, professional, and mindful of being on someone else's property.

He had our plumbing issue repaired within 2 days. He came when it was convenient for me, as well as texted me along the way.

They needed to replace a portion of the deck as well, and George has a referral within a matter of seconds. His referral came out, gave a fair quote and stayed until the job was done.

I can't thank George again for his hard work, as well as working with me to get the quote down.

As if things aren't crazy enough these days, our toilet decided to back up. We were very concerned that there would be no one out there to help. Years ago we had used AA Twin Brothers and decided to give them a call. To our great relief, not only did they answer, they were at the house within two hours. Presumably one of the twins, George, was kind, professional and knowledgeable. And, maybe most importantly of all, he completely adhered to the current standards of safety - face mask, gloves and booties. At all times he remained at a safe distance.

He attacked the problem from all sides, snaking the toilet, tub and several of the outside pipes. It was immediately evident that he was incredibly thorough. He checked and rechecked his work until he was sure the problem was resolved. And, to top it all off, he cleaned out the bathtub where the sewage had backed up. It's never looked so good!

We want to thank George for his incredible work and, should you ever need a plumber in general or in an emergency, AA Brothers Plumbing is definitely the company to call.

I've finally found my 1 plumber and will always do business with them.

I have a duplex that I converted the front unit into a vacation rental which involved a complete remodel, new wiring, fixtures and appliances. For that I've used 1 electrician, 1 painter, 1 handyman etc. but I have used 6 different plumbers, all recommended to me for various reasons. 1 no show, 1 seriously overcharged, 1 wouldn't return calls because they were so busy after giving them $3000 of work, 2 did shoddy work. The last plumber promised to service my tankless water heater for the last 4 months, kept promising but never did it so I called A A Twin Brothers Plumbing last week and scheduled an appointment for today. George and Evian showed up on time, did great work, are friendly, professional and as previously stated George is very much a stand up guy with ethics. I can't recommend them highly enough.

George is the BEST! We recently needed our main gas line abruptly replaced. The Gas Co. shut our gas off on a Thursday afternoon, because of a corroded line to the meter and didn't inform us, other than a red tag in the subterranean box that held the meter. We subsequently didn't notice until Friday afternoon when the only water we could get was cold. This led to some investigative home repair and I figured out what had transpired. That is a whole story unto itself, and I won't bore you with my dissatisfaction with The Gas Company, but suffice to say my discourse in regard to the way they handled the problem wasn't a pretty thing. And as hard as I tried I wasn't able to get the gas turned back on, until we had the line replaced and made safe again.

So there we were, late Friday afternoon without hot water, facing a long weekend of cold showers. I called four local plumbers for estimates, only two were willing to come out on Saturday morning. Both plumbers were clearly qualified, and both were willing to treat my situation as an emergency and start the job later that day. George's price for the job was modestly higher than the other plumber's estimate. But here's the thing, George spent well over an hour considering the scope of the job and gave what I felt was the most thorough appraisal of the situation at hand.

So we went with AA Twin Brothers. George had his crew out and started later that day. They worked on the replacement line all day Sunday as well; from 8:00am until well after dark, but were not able to finish because of problems, no fault of theirs. They then diligently and without complaint worked most of the day on Monday and finished in the afternoon.

We had hot water later Monday night, due in no small part to the dedication of George, his twin Brother and his excellent crew. They turned what could have been an ordeal that took a week to straiten out, to a minor inconvenience.

George is more than just a honest and professional plumbing contractor, he is a kind and considerate man, who is genuinely concerned with the comfort and satisfaction of his clients.

Called AA Twin Brothers based on the reviews here on Yelp (unfailingly positive) and arranged for George to come out to the house for a backed up toilet/shower. Originally I was just going to get an estimate from him and another plumber, but George was quickly able to identify the problem and propose a solution, and his quote was reasonable, so we hired him on the spot to fix the issue. He's incredibly nice and obviously competent (haven't had any problems in the 7 days since he came out) and we wouldn't hesitate to call him again if we experienced another plumbing issue -- which we will, of course, given that our pipes leading to the main sewer line are primarily 65 year old clay and the tree roots are having their way with them. In any case, two thumbs up to George and AA Twin Brothers Plumbing.

Our water heater went out in the middle of the COVID19 lock down--not the best time, but we needed hot water! After searching yelp, we were impressed by the reviews from twin bros plumbing. We called and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. George showed up just on time donned in gloves, mask, and practiced careful social distancing, which we were grateful for. He was extremely professional, courteous and diagnosed our problem within about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, he didn't have the correct part on his truck, but he tracked it down, picked it up the same day and returned a few hours later to install. He also went above and beyond and discovered that our tank was still under warranty so he took it upon himself to call the company and have the replacement part mailed to us. Once we received the part, George returned and purchased the part from us for $127, the exact cost we paid for the part when he did the install. We only had to pay for the labor. The labor price seemed fair to me based on the professionalism and quality of work we received. There are probably cheaper plumbers out there, but I don't mind paying a fair price for good work. We will definitely be using Twin Bros Plumbing again when we need them. Hopefully not soon!

I don't write many reviews, but AA Twin Brothers Plumbing was absolutely fantastic and I had to take time to write them a wonderful 5 star review.

They came to check out a small leak I had. Instead of charging me a ton of money to run all sorts of useless tests, they removed and replaced a stripped clean out cap, caulked a few things, gave me several helpful tips and all was good to go :)

The best part: George didn't charge me!! I couldn't believe it. My best guess is since it wasn't an expensive fix, George decided to help me out instead of making a few bucks. I was blown away!! I wish there were more honest and caring people like him in this town.

If I could give them 10 million stars, I would!! George is an absolute stand-up guy. After being stood up several times by plumbing companies that were sent out by my home warranty company, and after a crazy drama-filled experience with another plumbing company (they have 1 star on Yelp, with many reviewers saying they would give the company 0 stars if they could!), I decided to just pay out of pocket and go back to AA Twin Brothers Plumbing, since our last experience with David was so excellent.

This time, George came out himself. He isn't just a good businessman -- he TRULY cares about you and is one of the most kind and incredibly genuine people I have ever met. He spent four hours just speaking to my boyfriend about life things, in addition to our plumbing issue!

Long story short, George brought his twin brother out (that was a trip! Also such a sweet guy) and Avion, an employee of his, and they worked hard until they knocked it out. We are 100% satisfied with their work, and would recommend them to anybody. Such a relief after the terrible experiences I had. I recommend you go with AA Twin Brothers, every time!

Charles just left our home. He replaced an old bathroom sink faucet with a new one and he was awesome. Top notch service! He cleaned up after he was done. He went above and beyond and answered ALL my questions on future faucet replacements for tub and shower. He ended up replacing old hoses and other bits corroded from old age. Definitely going to call them again if we have plumbing issues :) Friendliest guys ever!!!!!! They came so fast and helped us understand and assess the plumbing problems in our house.

A truly dependable plumber!
After being stood up 2X by another yelp plumber, I was reluctant to try again. After reading the reviews here I decided to go with them. They confirmed the day before... And called the morning of to let me know they were coming between 9-10 a.m. Then again at 9:55 to let me know they were running behind and would be over in half an hour. They WERE!!!

I gather money is more important than customer service to this firm. I need a faucet & shower head full assembly replaced, which will require insertion of the new assembly through the wall behind the shower. I have a very high bid, & called Twin Brothers to get another bid. The woman told me they charge $80 to come out & bid, whether I hire them or not. If the bid is too high & don't use them, I lost $80. I pointed this out & got no response from her. I see many good reviews for this firm, but cannot trust a firm with such a totally self-serving policy.
*If I hired them, the $80 would apply to the bill.

This review is long overdue but OMG they are the best plumbers ever! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our water bill was higher than usual so we called the water department to take a look. It turns out we had a leak. I shopped around for plumbers and carefully read each review. I Set up appointments for free consultations and out of everyone George and his team were the best. They are professional and very hard working. PRICING was very fair, specially compared to other companies. I don't know much about plumbing and George did his best to explain everything to me. He always kept me in the loop of what was going on. If you want someone who is honest, reliable, hardworking and overall just a good person you've found them!

Absolutely the best plumbing company! I called this morning due to a broken hot water heater. George arrived a little while later and went over the problem with me and explained everything about the hot water heater and what he suggested and how he was going to replace it, etc. He then left briefly to pick up the new one and came back and had it installed quickly. He was so nice and helpful and really took the time to explain the process and everything he was doing and why and let me know to ask him if I had any questions at anytime. He even took the time to add a screw to the bottom of my hot water heater door base as it was popping off. I can't say enough great things about AA Twin Brothers Plumbing and about George. If you need a plumber, seriously don't bother looking for anyone else and just call AA Twin Brothers. You wont be sorry! We found them on Yelp and were very pleased. They were actually one of the very few companies who picked up their phone and called us back! We needed their help replacing hot and cold water valves under the kitchen sink.

They were very honest - if something's not really broken, they won't try to get you to fix it for no reason. We found that they were very easy to work with and we felt really comfortable with them - no upselling.

We had them come out twice and so we met both George & David. Both were great! They even offered advice on other projects we wanted to do and were actually EXCITED to talk to us about how we could come up with a solution for some of our projects.

Great guys, we'll be using them again and referring them to our friends!

I was visiting my in-laws and the guest bathroom suddenly had all three drains plugged. George responded to our call as if we were his guests and. Worked into the afternoon to resolve the issue. He did have to leave for a prior appointment but he came back promptly to continue his work finally finishing the job after 7 PM. He kept at it missing some of his own Christmas with his family. Office picked up right away which was great & said plumber would call me. He did not.
A day later I called back & was given a time & day. At the time & day I was called to say plumber would be a certain amount of time late. He was later.
When he came he he said he did not have the toilet flapper in his truck & had to go get it. I asked him if Home Depot was the closest(5 minutes) or the hardware store since it was such a simple part but he said he had to go to their supplier & could come back the next day if I didn't want to wait then.
He came back an hour and a half later! Replacement took a minute & he asked if I would like the bill emailed.
I said yes, thanks! but over a month and 3 phone calls later no bill to give my landlady for reimbursement.
Check was finally deposited after three and a half weeks so I could get proof that way.
The worst part though was when I showed the contractor the old part he said it just needed an adjustment, not a new part--and the charge was $125!

My garbage disposal broke so I did quick search on Yelp and found Twin Brothers Plumbing. In the past I would have shopped around but realized it was a complete waste of time... I automatically go to the highest ranking guy on Yelp. I understand this practice may be risky but wow Twin Brothers plumbing made sure that I made the right decision choosing them. First of all, they tried to solve my issue free of charge over the phone. After doing all we could do to fix my current garbage disposal we decided to go ahead and replace it with an upgraded version. A little expensive, but why mess around with cheap stuff. The best part was that George, the actual owner, was the one who did the work. They could have not made me feel more comfortable! Yes the bigger companies may seem more glamorous but you are just another number to them. George cares about his customers and that is why he purposely stays small so that he can keep quality up. Twin Brothers will be my go to from now on for everything plumbing.

Wow! Excellent service, kind and honest worker, I'm calling these guys from now on!

I lost my wedding ring and feared it had gone down the sink so we opened the pipes to check. Instead of a ring, we found a leak and needed a plumber. I belong to an active mom's facebook group for my community and found a recommendation for George from AA Twin Brothers Plumbing. I called and they fit us in at the end of the same day! YAY!!!

The moms' group review said he was friendly and went the extra mile to help. They weren't kidding! He was the nicest worker we have ever had at our house! We found him to be honest, affordable, and enjoyable to have in our home. It was fun to learn that the company is called Twin Brothers because George is actually an identical twin and his brother is a plumber, too!

Germell came over to my place to install my water filter, which is high-end and has multiple components. Recently I had a 2nd floor ceiling water leak in RB which seemed related to my 3rd floor MB shower. It was an urgent matter and my wife was very worried. The owner of the business came out and he told me I needed a new one, I was shocked and asked why. He claimed the engine was small and I could have a bigger one. He talked me into it, I know, stupid me, and then charged me $500. What a rip off. He also took my four month old garbage disposal with him probably to sell to another client as slightly used. I will never ever do business with this guy again.

If you need any plumbing work done, these folks are clean, efficient and knowledgeable. They replaced a drain for me, not a simple repair, in just a few hours. They are not the cheapest but I hardly think going cheap is a good idea when flowing water is involved. Neighbors tell me they are quick to correct mistakes, although my experience was flawless. I would not hesitate to have them return, and to ask them for recommendations for other kinds of service.

AA Twin Brothers Plumbing did a great job of fixing up the plumbing on my house. I purchased a flipped house where the flippers didn't bother doing anything non-cosmetic so it had a myriad of plumbing issues. The water pressure was about 120 psi, the main shutoff valve was leaking, the fridge didn't have its water supply line hooked up, there wasn't an air gap device for the dishwasher, and worst of all, the hot water heater needed to be replaced and the flippers had sealed off the exhaust vent for its combustion exhaust. AA Twin Brothers Plumbing was able to take care of all of this at a reasonable price, very quickly, and while doing everything correctly and to code. I definitely recommend them.

I inherited a brand-new-but-total-lemon water heater (AA Twin had nothing to do with it) when I bought my house, and AA Twin have chased down warranties and installed 3 parts in 5 years. George was the hero this time, advising on a few items in my overall system that needed attention and taking care of each new problem he uncovered in the water heater. He (and Randall, who's learning from the best) were responsive, friendly, conscientious, and thorough. I will DEFINITELY get my next water heater from them, and use them for any plumbing needs.

This rating is long overdue. Evian from AA Twin Brothers Plumbing was amazing! He was professional, polite, and courteous( he even wore disposable booties so not to track dirt into my newly cleaned kitchen!) But the best thing about my whole experience was that I found that he was knowledgeable and a great communicator ( because I know nothing about plumbing). As he was taking apart the garbage disposable and doing various tests for leaks, he explained everything while he was working, so that I understood what was going on. I would definitely be using this company again in the future for my kitchen plumbing problems!

I cannot say enough good things about AA Twin Brothers Plumbing. I called their office early on a Tuesday morning and George and his assistant, Hamilton, were at my door by 1:00 pm that very day to clear the stopped up drainage pipes behind my washing machine.

Because the pipes were old (circa 1948) and it was impossible to reach the stoppage with his modern snakes, George had to replace the piping with a wider 2 inch trap, a trap arm, and a santee, yet George only charged me according to his earlier quote for snaking, due to the time it took attempting the various snakes he had at his disposal. This was so incredibly kind of him.

It is very clear that George loves his work and takes great pride in it. It is also evident that he truly cares about his clients. Also he is very personable and friendly. I will definitely be calling him in the future for other plumbing concerns.

Wanted to add a 2nd post as this time I actually had a real paying job for George & AA Twin Bros Plumbing. Kitchen sink was leaking incessantly and causing coffee stains on the ceiling of our bedroom below. Given our experience with George the first time, I called them in and sure enough George told me exactly what was wrong with the sink and even suggested that it might be something I could possibly fix myself. This time however the complexity of the project was a bit more complicated than I was comfortable handling myself so I officially hired AA Twin Bros for their first paid project in my home.

I picked up a replacement kitchen faucet from Lowes for George & team to install and just like the first time they showed up right on time. Turns out however, that when they opened the brand new box that the manufacturer had failed to include a crucial piece to complete the installation. So George packed the faucet back up and drove back to Lowes himself to exchange the item for one with all the necessary parts. Then came back and installed the faucet in no time and the kitchen sink has been perfect ever since.

Can't say enough about these guys... honest guys and now top notch customer service & quality of work!

Friendly, courteous, very well thought-out and carefully planned execution, educating us along the way on the various solutions and the cost/benefit implications. This time it was a mass of potato peelings that went down the sink so it was AA Twin Brothers to the rescue. I was thrilled to see David step out of his truck! I knew I was in good hands. He routed my kitchen sink line of sludge and years of rusty whatevers. He cleared the trap under my double sink and now my kitchen sink is running like a dream. Thank you, David! Very reliable for business owners. The technician came out the same day. Although there was a mixup in pricing, they gave me the better deal. The man worked really had and did a thorough job unclogging my grease trap. Love the service and will be using them again in the future!

Shower drain decided to be a butt head and stop doing its one and only job. Called mid afternoon on Friday and unfortunately they were booked the rest of the day however, they were able to send someone out the following morning. The woman answering calls was personable and let me know David would be coming out to help. David showed up on time. He was professional, personable, and tidy. My shower drain took a little muscle but was draining in no time. David left my bathroom as clean as it was when he arrived. The price was reasonable. I called George to get a second opinion about my hot water heater pilot light. I was told that my 8 year old hot water heater needed to be replaced. I wanted to see if it was possible to replace the pilot light and thermocouple.

George was very honest and told me that eventually that the tank would need to be replaced and that it does cost a lot for them to come out to fix something small. He gave me ranges for replacing the tank and suggested that I consider a tankless system.

Being mechanically inclined, I asked George if it was a hard fix to replace the pilot light/thermocouple. He said that it wasn't and told me exactly what tools I would need.

Thanks to George, I got the spare parts and tools and was able to fix the water heater by myself. The hot water heater is running again with no issues!

I really appreciated the time that he took with me over the phone to talk through the issue. I will definitely be coming back to him when we need our hot water heater replaced!

Yelp did it again!! Found these guys here: they were near by, had 5 star reviews and they sounded like good people. Called them in the morning, I got a two hour window of arrival same day and my plumber was here in no time. David did a fabulous job fixing some shower issues and we already talked about getting him back to switch a bathroom facet and sink too!!! He was professional, quick and fun to be around with. What more one could ask for. And their prices were totally reasonable (plus I already got a price for the next project so I will know how much to budget for). Just awesome!!! George from AA Twin Brothers Plumbing is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! I had a leak under my sink in the kitchen and he was extremely thorough in finding the problem. I was able to get an appointment with this company very easily.

George made this such a pleasant experience. He is extremely professional, honest, personable, and conscientious. Also, it was such a pleasure to not have a mess to clean up after he left.

I was suppose to write this review a while ago and forgot. George who work for this company. Is a stand up guy. My husband first called him to our house to tighten some pipes because they rattled every time our sprinklers came on. He fix them and haven't had a problem since. We have built a trusting relationship with him. He wont tell you what you want to hear. He will be honest and straight forward. Very pleasant when he does it. Worth every penny

I called George at AA this afternoon for an emergency I had at my home. My sewer drain/main was backing up and beginning to come up in my bathtub and shower. Gross, I know..

George at AA, on a Sunday arrived within an hour. He was his in a great spirit, polite and ready to help, just like all my previous experiences. He took care if my drain problem in a very timely fashion.

I'm writing another review because it's well deserved. His service and quality of work is outstanding. His equipment is well organized and clean, he's polite and honest and goes the extra mile to make his clients happy.

On rare occasions, you come across a business where you wish Yelp! used a scale of 1 to 10. AA Twin Brothers is such a company. George and his team have been handling our plumbing issues for many years, and they deserve 10 Stars for every facet of their service.

We have lived in a very beautiful condo on the Westside for several decades. Unfortunately, it was built in the late '70s and the plumbing shows its age. That being said, it is only natural that we have needed repairs both big and small - from a huge pipe-burst flooding incident to minor faucet leaks, and everything in between.

My husband and I keep AA Twin Brothers number on both our phones and their business cards in various places throughout the house. So whenever something plumbing-related happens, we never get upset. We just call George - knowing everything will be okay.

If it's an emergency, they are there in an instant and are very insightful if a call to our insurance is necessary and how to handle that. Not-such-an-emergency? AA Twin Brothers gladly works with our schedule and usually arrive within 24 hours. And get this! They call you that morning to confirm the appointment, and then actually get here exactly on time!

George is an absolute dream to work with - and I say, with because you feel like he is partnering with you ... carefully explaining all possible options and costs before starting any work. Love, love, love that!

Each and every job has always been done professionally, and we are always surprised at the cost - much lower than what we expected it to be. At the very least, AA Twin Brothers have highly competitive pricing.

If you are looking for a terrific plumber, look no further. AA Twin Brothers IS as good as it gets!

One more echoing everyone else... They were able to schedule us same day. Dave was great!!! He showed up early, fixed everything quickly, was friendly and easy to have around, and left everything clean and in great shape. He also showed me that one problem didn't really need a big fix - I just needed to turn the water all the way on (blush) - exceedingly honest. He then pointed out a few areas that hadn't concerned me at all and told me why and how to watch out for trouble. Great experience!!

I can't say enough great things about AA Twin Brothers! George, the owner, is an incredibly honest and thorough plumber who gets the job done. We had him do our plumbing inspection before buying our house and he caught a bunch of issues related to the initial pipe installation under our house that we were able to resolve before closing the deal. David is also incredibly knowledgeable and a great person to work with. We had an issue with our shower temperature and he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Nice guy, seemed very knowledgeable and his price was good--but he was a no-show after our initial meeting--twice. Both times I had to leave work early to make our appointment.

First time he was over an hour late. When I eventually spoke with him he said he was 10 minutes away. Another hour passes so I called and texted. Finally he got back to me and said he had an emergency but he was right around the corner. A simple text or quick call would have been courteous...

We rescheduled for the following week and I confirmed our time with him the day prior. I left work work early AGAIN. 45 min past our established time I heard nothing....so I started looking for someone reliable.

I work a fast-paced job, but I have yet to be so busy I don't have 1-2 mins to let someone know I'm going to be late or need to reschedule an appointment. I'm just glad this wasn't an emergency.

One star for lack of reliability and not respecting my time.

I'm giving these guys 4.5 stars (and that rounds up to 5).

George was the guy who came to look at my plumbing situation. He basically came over an hour after I called on a Sat afternoon. That's pretty quick!

We set up another appointment just because he needed the parts and he had another appointment to run to. A few days later, he arrived and fixed my problem, which was a simple job of replacing the valve. But as I watched him work, I realized that even if it was something I knew how to do, it required some experience and finesse.

The job took longer than he had estimated, which is why I'm taking half a star off. But I can understand that sometimes you can't predict the unpredictable. All in all, I was happy with the work, and plus George is a great guy to talk to so I didn't mind having him in my house for awhile.

I had problems with a water leak around the hot water fitting to my water heater. The first plumber I called told me that I would probably need to replace the water heater. I told him that it was just a pinhole leak in the pipe near the fitting. He told me that he was booked up that day and couldn't get to my place until the next day. Needless to say, I told him I would try to find someone else. I contacted Twin Brothers and they were able to be over within the hour. The fix was simple - replace the part of the copper pipe that had the leak. Very happy with the service.

David Wallace of Wallace Plumbing (see my review of that business) wouldn't come to my area, and recommended Twin Brothers Plumbing. I called and no one could give me a quote. The woman said someone would call me back, Three hours later I hadn't heard from anyone, so I called again. She said I'd have to be patient because they go to calls non-stop, and pick up supplies along the way. She said they'd call me after 5 p.m. It's 9 p.m. and no call. They are obviously just as lame as Wallace Plumbing. No wonder he recommended them.

I took a chance on George after I met him at a plumbing supply store. He did not solicit to me there, we struck up a conversation and I got his card. I usually avoid the people who solicit as I really only trust legit companies.
Anyhow, George did one drain cleaning and one water heater repair for me in a timely manner and his price was good. I'm going to start using him from now on, the previous guy was cheaper but he lacked quality and doesn't work too efficiently. I can say he's not out to gouge you or try and sell you something you don't need/want. Good workmanship and not sloppy.

I have used AA Twin Brothers Plumbing service three times since I moved to my townhome. The first time I was very impressed by Eli who came out and told me exactly what was wrong and he fixed it. He was upfront and the price matched the original quote.
The other two times, the boss George came out, and he was very thorough and knowledgeable. Both times the price matched the quote. He was upfront and honest and very down to earth. I like their service, their honesty and that they can come out the day you call most of the time. I will definitely use them again if I have any plumbing needs!

I have used AA Twin Brothers 3 times now. David has been the technician twice and he is great. Explains everything and gives costs in advance, He took pictures under my house to show me some plumbing problems that I should try to get fixed as well - very old pipes and I knew they were not in good shape but having photo proof was great. He installed a new cooktop the first time and today was installing the water lines for a new ice maker in the refrigerator.

I called in this morning to make an appointment and they have availability in the same day. Of course this might be the case all the time, but it is for me today :)

The plumber who performed the service is David. He came by a couple of months back for an estimate and he still remembers me. David is very friendly and respectful. He wears shoe covers when he came in. He asked how my little baby is doing. Little things like this really feels me appreciated as a customer.

David did two bathroom drain cleanings. He did it fast and cleaned up the bathroom afterward. I am very satisfied with his professionalism and friendliness. I will definitely call this company again if I ever have any future plumbing issues.

I called A A Twin Brothers Plumbing at 9pm on Thursday night and George showed up first thing in the morning with a big smile on his face. My garbage disposal was clogged and backed up and George was able to take care of the problem in no time. He did a great job and unlike most other plumbers who I've had to deal with, George was honest and ethical and only charged me the service charge, which was lower than other quotes I was given. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for some knowledgeable, honest and passionate about his job.

George arrived @ 9:45 with his TWIN brother Jamelle (get it?). We had 2 drains that needed service - the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. Jamelle knocked out the bathroom sink while George tackled the kitchen sink. It was a pretty ugly situation. Our building is 25+ years old I was very impressed with their professionalism: they were both very courteous and upfront about everything they were doing. Had called a couple other plumbers before AA Twin and they declined the job because they don't service apartment/condos (I think because of the 'stack' issue which can cause back-ups/overflows in other units). But AA Twin was able to schedule us for the next day, arrived promptly, were very polite and conscientious and left our place clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

On time. Very knowledgable. Informative, skilled and honest. Those last three don't always go hand-in-hand and are often mutually exclusive. With George, they beautifully co-exist.

What You Need To Know:

The Problem: Water-heater leak discovered per inspection, as we are selling our house, so time and expertise were critical.

The Solution: George assessed the problem, ordered the part and came back the next day to fix n' install. Water heater is running perfectly.

The Net Net: Fair prices. Great service. Nice personable guy. Honest. On-time.
As long as I stay in the area, I will not use anyone other than George for my plumbing needs and I will recommend him to friends.

This posting is a little late, but very necessary.

David stopped by on a same day call to unclog my kitchen sink. I had to leave at a certain time early in the early afternoon and david was kind enough to switch up his schedule in order to accommodate me. Third time I used George the owner and master plumber and his apprentice- this time on my older home; he was very thorough again and kind; he cleaned out a shower drain and recommended a filter from Home Depot to keep it clear of hair- he even showed my husband how to install the filter when we get it. He also went out of his way to do an unexpected plumbing related task for our electrician who was also at our home doing some rewiring- he definitely didn't have to do that and yet took care of it for us. His prices are very fair, and he is knowledgeable and kind. You really don't feel like you are getting taken advantage of and he is honest. While I never got the chance to hire AA Twin Brothers Plumbing, I was very impressed by their honesty. I called because my toilet was running intermittently. It was suggested to me that I go to Synder Diamond to replace the flapper. I followed their advice, and the new part cost me $16. The part was simple to install. My job could have been an easy $70. Great Service....Honest....Good Pricing. My water heater decided to stop working on a Saturday night and they sent their technician, Harrison, out at 7:00 pm. George is the best. He is a plumbing nerd and being a nerd myself I mean that in a good way - he knows his stuff and will always do it right. When you ask questions, he gives you the full answer, and he always wants to do things the right way. As an example, he put in an entire new sewage line and in one corner instead of a 90 degree turn, he put in two 45 degree turns. So it flows better. You have to love that attention to detail. I will always call these guys first.

I would give 10+ stars if I could. George is a master craftsman at his trade. Personable, gives great reliable advice, arrives on time and charges reasonably. What more would you want when your home is in trouble?

George and Eli have fixed different minor (snake a drain, fix a faucet) and major (sewer line broken) plumbing problems on my 20+ year old house. None of their work required me to call them back a 2nd time.

I was impressed with a recent encounter with twin brothers! I met them on my block when they were here doing a major job and they spent their lunch time rescuing a lost dog. When I commended him, he said that he always tried to put himself in another's place, and he knew the dog was part of a family that would miss him. He really went above and beyond--no answer to phone calls, so he found the address, and when the dog jumped the fence sought out neighbors to help--that's where I came in. That kind of caring seems so important when somebody is doing work at my house--this guy is Gold and I will certainly hire him next time I need a plumber.

This morning, I had a terrible clog in the kitchen sink which ended up affecting the wash basin in the garage. My initial reaction was to go to my local Home Depot and buy those dangerous chemicals that supposedly do the trick. I bought 2 bottles of some very corrosive liquid and poured them into both sinks. 30 minutes... 1 hour.... 2 hours... later......no reaction The water was still standing.

My mom advised me to call a plumber, so I came to Yelp and looked through a few plumbers until I chose AA Twin Brothers because of their 5* ratings and their positive and humble responses to not-so-good ratings.

Called the number and a lady answered and I explained my problem. She checked their schedule and advised that a plumber would be on hand between 2 and 4 pm. today. I said Sure. That works

Around 3:00 p.m., Eli showed up, very genuinely friendly, professional, and helpful. Very rare to experience such positive vibes. I showed him the clog and he asked if there was a runoff outside the kitchen. He showed me and lo and behold, there it was. He brought in his tools and first drained the standing water, chemicals and all, and carefully dumped the waste water in the toilet.

Next, he took a drain snake and ran it through the runoff spout with no luck. The water kept backing up. Went into the garage and figured the clog was between the garage and sewer. He tried to unclog through a valve but the angle wasn't right. But he kept positive and persistent.

When he realized that it was still not working, he drove back to his company and got a longer drain snake around 5:00 p.m. when traffic would have been a bit bad.

He got back in good time and went back to the original runoff spout and was able to clear the clog successfully! All that time and he just charged $100. Not per hour like some others may do. And he cleaned up various spills and was very professional.

Gave him cash and received an invoice. For any future problems, Eli and AA Twin Brothers will be my first choice from now on! Hope this review helps anyone in a bind.

Once again I called on AA Twin Brothers for some help. I ended up having a few problems, so I had three total appointments. The initial consult was made same day and the others were over the next week, due to getting in parts. As usual, David was courteous, professional and punctual. George and his entire crew were meticulous. They really ought to charge more, and I realize the reader probably thinks I'm related- but we're not. We had a water heater go bad with a slow leak that ruined the units on the two floors below us. Yes, we didn't have hot water for a few days, but all 3 units had to be fixed at the same time AND there were code violations with the code updates in place- so George had to deliver the news and arrange for the inspections with the City of LA. This area has a strict HOA and he was able to work with everyone. He was dependable, they never left a mess, wore booties, even worked late and on Sundays.
They really lived up to the name of AA!
The office staff conveyed every message and in watching the crew work on our building for about 3 weeks, he was just putting out fires if a call was not returned within an hour. A lot of people depend on this company. They're honest. There were people in a jam and they could have increased their costs but didn't- when paying with a credit card, he was apologetic about having to pass on the %fee charged to him by the credit card companies but geese, he needs to make a living-& it was about $40 in total. Great people. Use them.

calling a plumber is a total drag...but this was actually a very pleasant experience. my appointment was from noon to 2, and David showed up right at noon (a little earlier actually). he was incredibly helpful, going way above and beyond taking care of everything on my list and doing a fantastic job. i'd give David & AA Twin 6 stars if i could, and highly recommend them. 5 star service and attention to detail, fair price and a super friendly attitude.

What a relief to have found George. After several years of using a different plumber, we upgraded to George, and are delighted we did. He's done three jobs for us in the $150-250 range. On each occasion, he took the time to diagnose the problem, clearly lay out the options, and recommend a course of action. (One issue was with the piping - encased in concrete - under a toilet in our basement. The other two dealt with our sewer line.)

He's professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and prompt. Contrary to the experience of another poster, I had no issues coordinating schedules with George; he showed up within the narrow window to which we agreed, and he always called when he was on his way. What a great find - dealing with a plumbing situation has become much less stressful.

We have had George of AA Twin Brothers out to our house 3 times already for different issues. The first time he was out it was an emergency - we had a backed up water main (YUCK) on a Saturday afternoon. He was out within 2 hours and had the problem cleared up before dinner. Big thanks to David from AA Twin Brothers Plumbing. He replaced my old water heater and helped me resolve my indecision about where to put the new one. This turned out to be time consuming but he was patient and supportive. He worked quickly and finished sooner than I expected. I had opted to reuse my old water heater enclosure, at least temporarily. It was a wreck but David made it look very neat with everything at right angles -- a real makeover! The price was good -- neither the highest or lowest. Strong recommend!

We had a clogged drain and called a a twin brothers plumbers to come out to fix our issue. George came out to our place and he was very professional. He put on booties before coming into the house and put down a paper to ensure that the floor would not get dirty. He was very through and completed the job in a timely manner. George, the owner, came to my residence and spent a full day installing a new hot water circulation pump, cleaning my tankless water heater, and installing a hot water expansion tank. He is very meticulous and worked at a patient pace, making sure the work was done correctly. AA Twin Brothers Plumbing is a great company that I located through the BBB website. I initially called George to clean out a bathroom drain. He was on time and professional. I recently had a plumbing emergency on Thanksgiving eve. It turned out to be a large problem but George worked very late into the evening until the problem was resolved. He identified the source of the problem, gave me several repair options and took care of the repair that evening. He was meticulous, very thorough and explained every step. Whenever he completes a job he always cleans up his work area and leaves things as he found them. George is a knowledgeable, honorable businessman who provides excellent service at reasoanble prices. Edit: After seeing this review, the owner called and apologized for how things turned out, and offered to refund what we paid. The gist of what he told me was that they make sure their work is up to code, they pull permits when they need to, and so forth, and that he thinks that was why their quote was higher than the other two plumbers. I will also add that each plumbing job is different, and ours is pretty unique, and that we may have communicated something differently about what we needed done (we had about 5 different tasks for them to do, one of them being a bit atypical). I don't believe they were trying to inflate the price, and the owner reiterated that they are very careful and fair about their pricing (and said something about being routinely audited to ensure this is the case).

I would also like to add that the people that we interacted with (David, the plumber who came out to assess the work to be done, and the woman who answers the phone; sorry I can't remember her name!) were both very friendly, and that the only thing we didn't like was the quoted price. Well, also, we were trying to move forward quickly, and it took them a couple of days to get back to us, but that is pretty minor, and I am certain that they are quite busy (plus we did have the one unique request that they had to check on). The quote fee is now being refunded, and I think that suggests that the owner is willing to do what it takes to make things right with the customer. So a few things to keep in mind: 1) they have a lot of really great reviews, 2) our situation was unique, 3) I can only assume they do great work, as other Yelpers say, and 4) they made things right with me (and they will presumably do the same for you). I'm leaving the original review below, but I'm changing the review to 4 stars.

Original review:

We had to do some remodeling in our kitchen, and needed a plumber to re-run pipes to our sink and dishwasher, and install our faucet and garbage disposal, etc. We called one plumber (with top notch Yelp reviews), and they came out and gave us a (free) quote, but they wouldn't return our calls when we tried to set up an appointment. Then we called A A Twin Brothers, based on the very positive reviews here on Yelp, and figured we would pay the $80 fee they charge to give us a quote since it goes toward the work they will do, and we really were not interested in shopping around. But when the quote they gave us was literally double the price we were quoted by the first plumber (that's not an exaggeration), we decided to get a third opinion. The third plumber (also highly rated on Yelp) did not charge any fee for the quote, and their price was almost identical to the first plumber we called. So we decided to eat the $80 fee, since it would have cost us *much* more than an additional $80 to go with A A Twin Brothers. I would have felt bad about reviewing a plumber whose services we did not choose to employ, but since we paid them for a quote ... I don't feel too bad about reviewing them on the price they quoted us. It felt like they wasted our time and charged us for it. I can understand a plumber not wanting to deal with people who shop around for the lowest price, and that was exactly why I did not have a problem paying for the quote, because I wasn't trying to shop around. So while they may very well offer good prices to some people, as the many positive reviews here suggest, I just wanted to offer my experience, and say that you might want to think twice before paying a plumber $80 for a quote. There are plenty of highly rated plumbers who will not charge you, and they may well give you a better price.

I called George to unblock the main sewer line in my apartment building. He was prompt and did the job. However due to heavy use because of visiting family it stopped up again. I probably don't have to write another review on george and aa plumbers since its clear that these guys are great.

Asked George to come out for a sewer line inspection on a house i'm in escrow in. The call was last minute but he made the time to come out. He found that there was a blockage where the video camera couldn't get through. He proceeded to snake the line and couldn't get through either.

As someone who is in escrow, in it very disappointing to find major plumbing problems wrong with your place. The only silver lining was George explaining what he thought the problem was, how we could fix it, and giving me a ballpark of how much it would cost.

He seemed very honest and trustworthy. You just get the sense that he's a good guy and not out to make a quick buck or do half- hearted work. In fact, the services he provided would have added up to $400 but since there was a problem with the line and he couldn't get through, he just charged me $120 and he was there for probably two hours!

Standup guy. I will be using him again in the future. Thanks again George!

After many frustrating experiences with plumbers who are unscrupulous sharks preying on people's ignorance, and charging exorbitant amounts, this company is like a breath of fresh air - a decent, caring and knowledgeable plumber who is also very reasonably priced.
We needed to get the main line to the sewer cleared out as our toilet kept getting clogged. George came and spent over an hour at no charge (I mean, who does that??) investigating the set up of our pipes so he could do an accurate diagnosis and remedy. As it turned out, our pipes that had been installed incorrectly and the fixtures were pointing away from the main street sewer line, hence the problem. He then came back the next day and cleared out the blockage from the toilet itself. After spending about 45 minutes, he and his guy cleaned up the bathroom and it was absolutely impeccable - and this was the day our cleaning lady came - they left the bathroom even cleaner than after she had cleaned.

I was really impressed and will definitely be using George again and recommending him to all of our friends.

I think this is the best plumber in Los Angeles. George runs a tight ship. He's neat, clean, incredibly well-versed when it comes to the myriad of plumbing problems a homeowner experiences and he's a nice, friendly person. I can't imagine any scenario I'd hire someone else. What is the point? And he works constantly and will come on the weekends. It's about as low-stress of a plumbing situation as I've come across.

GEORGE and his assistant, HARRISON SAVED me!! I had a waterless tank installed but it did not work. After a good deal of money did not solve the problem and the original plumber disappeared (not a good sign), I came to Yelp to look for help. I picked AA Twin Brothers because of all the reviews. I must say: GEORGE and HARRISON went above and beyond to solve the horrible mess the previous plumbing had been. I felt so discouraged and they kept me positive. George's estimates were fair and even when the job took longer than he thought, he did not ask for more money.

I also want to say that AMEL in his office was professional, courteous and caring. Especially when we could not figure out what the problem was.

I have only rave reviews for George and his team. I found AA Twin Brothers Plumbing via Yelp when we purchased a house in October and discovered the people who flipped our house didn't run a water line to the water/ice machine in the refrigerator. We made an appointment with George for a few days later and he was honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced for the work he completed that day.
Given our first experience, when we noted a few leaks in our copper pipes a couple weeks later, we immediately called AA Twin Brothers office. Unfortunely our warrenty sent a different company out to complete the repairs (not well, I might add), however we hired George to come inspect the work they did and review the rest of the piping in hopes we would not have additional issues. George came out to complete the inspection, and was totally honest, saying that he didn't see anything that appeared to be an immediate concern, but that the pipes were older and therefore we may see additional leaks in the future. We asked if we needed to replace the pipes and he said we could, but it didn't appear to be imperative at that time. A few months later, we noticed another leak, and called AA Twin Brothers who rearranged their schedule to send someone (David) out to complete the repair the next afternoon. After that leak, my husband and I discussed options and decided to move forward with the pipe replacement.
We called George, who came out a few days later and provided a quote for new copper pipes under our house, and fit us into his schedule for the following weekend. The quote was extremely good, I might add. George and his team showed up right on time the day we scheduled to start the pipe replacement, and worked 12+ hour days to ensure that the work was completed in three days (Friday morning - Sunday afternoon). They upheld the highest quality standards when working on our house, and when they noticed something that needed extra attention, they quickly pointed out what needed to be done and explained the options to ensure we received optimal service. We've had several contractors in the house since the pipe install, and every one of them have commented on the great job. Realizing we were having some additional work completed in the kitchen and needed to reinstall the tile in the bathroom before the fitments could be completed, George offered to have someone from his team come out after the drywall and tile were done to finish the job.
We had one more issue with plumbing, faulty installation of the drains in our bathroom (thanks to the great job completed by the flippers), and we called AA Brothers to fix that as well. Again, they were prompt and thorough, and completed the work rapidly and for a great price. My husband and I both have AA Brother's number in our contact lists, and will continue to use them if/when we ever need any plumbing work completed again in the future. Rarely do you come across a contractor who is honest, fair, and as knowledgeable of his craft as George, and we appreciate his insights and skills.

They are so timely, so professional and so honest I will never use another plumber. Everyone that has ever come to our house has been so courteous and so informative about what's going on and what they need to do to fix it. They've helped us with a backed-up sink/garbage disposal, backed-up washer, emergency sewage leak that resulted in sewage line replacement, sink valve replacement and general maintenance of all thing plumbing in our house. The space they are working on is ALWAYS left cleaner than when they arrived. They even helped out a friend with a plumbing emergency situation very last minute and did an incredible job. Great experience. I called because my washer was not draining, it's an old house, so it has issues. The Yelpers are right on about George. Super nice, knowledgeable and get ready, honest. Really. He had already come over to fix an issue with our water heater and we liked him. So we called him on a Sunday to fix a sink that apparently had a clog that caused water from the floor above to overflow into our sink in the bathroom on the lower floor. We told him it was no emergency and he came by the next day and they snaked the sink and voila', clog is gone. For all the time he spent with us, the price was unbeatable. So surprising to have a delightful experience with a plumber, but George really impressed me. I called on a Sunday night for my tenant's clogged pipe, and he was there first thing Monday morning! I live in a condo complex in Playa Del Rey. Unfortunately had a clogged kitchen sink and a neighbor recommended these plumbers because they had such a great experience with them previously. I called and got an appt the next day since it wasn't an urgent plumbing problem. They were punctual, clean and professional. They explained what was going on, how to prevent it in the future and how they were going to go about fixing it. They were in and out in a hour and were very reasonable. For snaking a long pipe that was clogged and blocking our sink it was $155. If I ever have a plumbing issue in the future they would definitely be the first people I would call. I found this plumber on Yelp and chose them due to the many high customer ratings. It's hard to decide on a new plumber, especially in this big city, where crooks often prey on unsuspecting customers and get away with it.
These folks are different. We were treated with courtesy and respect and offered a fair price to do the work we needed without any pressure to up-sell or do unnecessary repairs.

George showed up within two hours, took a look and immediately contacted a water restoration company after surveying the damage. I've used AA Twin Brothers three times: once to replace a hot water heater, once to snake pipes, and once to install a gas line and washer/dryer hookups, and I would use them again without question. In all three cases they showed up at the hour scheduled and did great work. During the hot water heater replacement they arrived on short notice on a Saturday, replaced the heater, and when I asked about the cost to cap a pipe to an obsolete water softener they did it at no extra charge. When installing the washer/dryer hookups they did a great job on everything - the gas line and pipes were all mounted level and out of the way, there were no gaps or holes, George explained what he was doing, and he and his guys left the garage cleaner than when they had arrived.

These guys do the job right at a fair price, which is what you want from a plumber. I'll use them again.

Finally a plumber you can trust! I called Twin Brothers plumbing in the morning and they were able to come out the same day. My kitchen sink backed up and as a mom, that is just something I cannot live without. The guy who came out was not George, but one of his employees and he was great. Seemed very honest, and was very nice and even explained everything he was doing to clear the blockage. I also had him look at my toilet to diagnose a problem and he gave me two options (not just the most expensive option) a more short term fix and a longer term fix. I will be booking them to come back to fix my toilet issue soon!

I have had used services from about 10+ plumbers from the past 3 years in my current home (also had addition done to an old house that I purchased and the nightmares that went along with remodeling/new construction/plumbing) and this is the most pleasant experience to-date. I'm extremely pleased with the service that I received. My bathtub was half-way filled with water and foodstuff backed up from the dishwasher, kitchen disposal and sink. They share the same pipelines as my bathroom. So, I initially thought I only needed to have my bathtub snaked so that it can drain properly. When George and his technician showed up, they inspected the bathtub and requested to inspect under the sink. Then George took time to explain in detail what they believe to be the problem and made recommendations. At that time, they just seemed honest, friendly and professional.

As they proceeded to work, my brother turned to me and said to make sure to keep George's contact!!! As a couple of examples, just tiny little things but are indicative of their attention to details, pride in their work, and respect for the owner's property: They lined the floor and taped it down before they put their equipment on top. After they were done, there were no traces of water, dirt/debris or anything on the kitchen floor or bathroom floor or hallway. They were neat, professional, friendly and efficient. Did I mentioned that they even put on shoe gloves before they entered the house? The price they quoted was what I paid $250. They were efficient, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

George and his guys do great work. I've used them twice, the first time was for a clogged line coming off of my kitchen sink.. I called them that morning, He showed up at 8 pm on a Tuesday when I got off work and had the line unclogged by 9.... He is willing to show up anytime...George just recently replaced my water heater, it was on the second floor which made it pretty challenging...but he got the job done in a few hours... The thing I like about George is he is open and honest about the work and billing, you don't feel as though your being taken advantage of...His pricing is in line with other companies, he always does more than what you ask for.. To get access to my water heater George had to move the washing machine and a bunch of other stuff...prior to putting everything back he took the time to vac the debris up that was in the area and under where the washing machine was and wipe down the walls and floor and put everything back nice and neat as if it were his own...Most other contractors would have just put the stuff back without doing all that... It just goes to show that George cares.. After this last job George did for me I'm done shopping around for pricing from other plumbers I'm just calling George...

George is great! We had a ton of recurring pinhole leaks in our copper plumbing and drains falling out of the sinks in a new house. George is FANTASTIC! I can't recommend him highly enough. I called because I had a backup in my bathroom. They were able to squeeze me in within a few hours of the call. I received not one but two phone calls updating me with an ETA.

George from A A Twin Brothers Plumbing was helpful in making sure that we completed a difficult sewer system inspection for our home purchase. We did not have an accessible clean out in the home. We paid to have one installed, but in order to complete the inspection, he had to come to the house 4-5 times. He did not charge us for each obstacle, which could have been overwhelming. He talked us through the issues he was having, and was concerned enough for us to ensure that we got a thorough inspection without attempting to rack up a big bill for obstacles that were encountered along the way (roots in the line, misaligned pipes, etc).

My first appointment with George was a month ago to have my toilet repaired. He said he needed to order parts. I had to call today to be told that he couldn't fix my toilet. In fact, there's actually one more broken piece than there was before I called AA Twin.

George came out to install a new washing machine in my very old (1920's) building. He had to install a new gas line and vent, which he did to perfection. Not only was it done to code, the installation looks great (as these go). The old line was not up to code and was in fact a potential danger. George's pricing was fair and his work excellent.

I referred him to my work place, and they called him back after trying another plumber when he was not readily available. There was no question that George's work was superior to the larger company they had used when George was unavailable. The work installation failed, and George was called in to fix what the other plumber had failed to properly fix and install.

If you need a plumber, call George and AA Twin Plumbing. Hopefully, they are available in your area!

The most amazing and professional perfectionist. Had made plans for kitchen sink to be installed and called Mike Diamond Plumbing out to get the job done. They quoted me a cool $2,200 for the job (keep in mind this is a standard sink and faucet from home depot). After learning i wasn't on candid camera, I called George who quoted me less than 20% of that sight unseen and came the very next day (which also happened to be his birthday). He removed my old sink, refit some pipes to make up for a depth difference, installed the new sink, faucet and disposal and even though my counter top hole needed to be adjusted, repeatedly worked with drill bits and spin-saws to make it fit. Ended up being an 8 hour job, and not once did he ask for more money. Keep in mind it was his birthday as well. The result: pure perfection in my kitchen and the most professional, knowledgeable and honest plumber/GC I've ever encountered. This is the type of businessman & skilled worker you come across once in a lifetime. Simply unbelievable.

We called AA Twin Brothers and scheduled an appointment for Saturday. They gave us a time block of 8am-9am, and I was met by Eli at 8am on the dot. He then inspected the area of our concern and didn't find any leaks. He went on to explain the typical leaks that occurred with the toilet which demonstrated his thoroughness. The cost was $80 and because he didn't find anything, he was nice enough to check out any other plumbing issues we may have. On the way out, he said that if there was actually a leak, he would use the $80 I paid him for that work. Real solid move. I'll be calling these guys again if we have any plumbing issues. I am so happy that I called A A Twin Brothers Plumbing. I had another company out to my home yesterday to clear a blocked kitchen drain (the company that advertises in the LA times). It was a bad experience. They made a horrible mess in my kitchen. They were unable to clear the drain. And I was overcharged. The tech said the line needed a $1200 hydro jet procedure. I just had a bad feeling about the whole situation. So, this morning I did some research and called A A Twin Bros based on their Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. David was at my home within three hours, and he was able to clear the kitchen drain. The charge was less money than the other company charged. And there was no need for a $1200 hydro jet procedure. David is fantastic. He is someone that you instinctively trust and feel comfortable with to have in your home. I am so happy that I did not have to spend $1200+ to get the problem resolved when it was not necessary. A A Twin Bros is a keeper!!!

I paid George Veal, the owner, to come out to my house and help me diagnose a problem with my water heater, still under warranty. When Whirlpool did not want to send me all the parts I needed, he called them and went to bat for me, convincing them to send the needed parts by FedEx next day. This was money well spent, and George's intelligent and honest advocacy and advice were well worth it. I expect to save a lot of money and time, and when you and your lady are taking cold showers time is key. George is my go-to guy from now on.

W O W. The quality of service was outstanding. George is very through, informative, and honest. I guess the quality doesn't lie in what he found but more of how he approached the problem. We had what I thought was a simple clog in our kitchen and our restroom sinks which had been giving us a slow steady flow. George quoted me over the phone with a range as an estimate but when he came over we found that they were two separate clogs. The kitchen sink he de-clogged without any difficulties, but with the galvanized piping that we have in our home made in the 50's, the restroom required cutting the piping and going in direct. He ended up spending four hours fixing our problem and just charged $180 to do the through job that he did -minus $20 for dropping a few drops of piping water on our bathroom mat -which I should have removed in the first place! Each time he showed and explained the problem, educated me, and gave me upfront options along with reasonable quotes.

Two important advise from him:

1) DO NOT use these draino-like products: Although it may initially open some clogs, the chemical reaction will create the grease etc. to harden, creating further narrowing of the pipes in the future.

2) DO strain kitchen garbage instead of using the disposal. The disposal is apparently designed to cut up small crumbs of food, not chunks.

George is very easy to talk to and with his calm and frank mannerism, I think I found my plumber for life.

He expressed that plumbing is his passion and by talking to him, it showed.

WOW! George was awesome! Came to our house to fix our plumbing problem on the day we were set to have a birthday party! (And he recommended two different suggestions, one of which was significantly less expensive!) He got everything all taken care of and cleaned up with plenty of time to spare. Ok so if you are having any doubts about dealing with Twin Brothers, please put them aside. I'm a single mom and have dealt with a lot of sketchy and not entirely honest service and repairmen in my day. In fact, many projects I need done around the house often sit because I dread trying to get good help that I can trust. I just bought an all in one washer/dryer machine and needed someone to install it. I called many plumbers that had 4 to 5 stars and decided to go with George. He came the next day on time. I think the job ended up taking longer than expected it would when he quoted me, but he didn't charge me more. He is very capable and extremely easy to communicate with. Definitely a five star plumber!

George is the nicest guy and super knowledgeable about all things plumbing. He has all the high tech tools and video scoped our drain line to help us close on our house. The price was very good and he explained quite a few other issues we weren't aware of such as correct water pressure and regulators to our house, yearly maintenance for the tankless water heater and a few others without giving us a hard sell for anything additional. That's always a plus in my book. He arrived early to our appointment and we spent a good 1/2 hr after he was done speaking with me and our agent, even helping her out with information about another client's home she was in escrow with. He is naturally very helpful and down to earth. He took his time and even inspected all the fixtures in the house afterwards to give us an A-OK even though he was only there to inspect the drains. He will be our plumber from now on.

I had a major sewer leak underneath my kitchen sink. Sewer pipers were corroded. Anyway, I found one highly recommended plumber on Yelp. I emailed and called, but no response. Not a good sign. I then called AA Twin Brother. I got someone right away on the phone and scheduled an appointment. The plumber came out as promised and luckily he had the parts and quoted me a reasonable priced. He finished in about 2 hours and everything turned out great which was such a relief. I told him I found Twin Brothers plumbing on Yelp which had great reviews of his company. He no ideal what Yelp was....OK. Anyway, he was professional and clean up after himself and left my kitchen in clean shape. I would call him back.

Gorge, is hard working, honest and reliable. He has been my family plumber for about a year now. He will service our property not matter where his services are needed.
