Been using the Lords of Plumbing for many years, because they are the best. Big jobs and small, always the most professional, skilled, knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. Dealt mostly with Dan, who is so quick, direct, easy to work with and actually very funny. Honestly I can't recommend them highly enough.
Lords of Plumbing rock. Gave them a call for an issue with my toilet. They were at my home in less than two hours. Communication was clear, they explained all work up front and the possibility of additional work (which ended up not being needed). They had my toilet fixed in under an hour and they rocked face masks and safe distance with the current Covid Pandemic going on.

Excellent service and knowledge. I have recommended them to many clients and friends. They know commercial and residential issues and new builds. I am a general contractor and use them whenever I can.
Highly recommend you find another plumber. Not only was our problem not resolved, but we were put in physical danger after being told the problem was resolved. As a woman, I also didn't appreciate being told I have 'mesmerizing eyes' when I'm home alone with a plumber, so ladies please use with caution.
Lords of Plumbing sent someone out to look at our wall heater which was identified as 'unsafe' by SoCal gas. After reviewing, the plumber made a recommendation that he claimed he could not guarantee would resolve the issue. We tried it anyway, knowing the other option would be to replace the entire unit. He came on another day, replaced the piece and notified us that the issue (which was potentially life-threatening) was completely resolved and that it was safe to turn heater back on, which we did. ** Note to self, always call SoCal gas, they will check safety on all gas appliances for free and are very friendly and prompt
Needless to say, when SoCal gas came to inspect it.. the job was incomplete and inhabitable, our heater was turned back off. We were told that there were two things that needed to happen for the situation to be fatal, and we had one of them (the other being a bird randomly nesting on our roof). He also informed us that the plumber fixed the incorrect part and that he clearly didn't know how this type of wall heater works.
Fast forward to Lords of Plumbing revisiting the site - the (extremely cocky) plumber came back to look at the work and let us know that they have a 'wall heater specialist' at Lords of Plumbing that he would recommend come look at this. WHAT A BRILLIANT IDEA! WHY DIDN'T WE DO THAT THE FIRST TIME?! ...$800 later... I'm sure you can see why we were fed up with this runaround.
On his way out he definitely didn't forget to mention my 'mesmerizing eyes' on a few occasions, which just so happened to be the one visit where my boyfriend was not present. Keep your eyes on the heater bro, maybe that's why this work isn't being done properly.
At this point we realize we need to replace the entire heater, which is fine, the situation is what it is. We, having already worked with them this far, call Lords of Plumbing again to have the 'wall heater specialist' come out to finish the job and they quote us another $150 to just have him come and take a look! After someone from their team has been to my home 3x already personally to look at the situation.
The customer service here is non-existent l and I'm indignant as a customer and a woman. I welcome an apology from the owner.
Gabby, the receptionist who answered all my calls was very nice. Beyond that, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business. THe fact that I talked to Gabby so often is the first clue that this was not a good experience.
We had a leak and water damage. The plumber came to the house and set up a small isolation area to dry out the affected site. They left it there for a week with no word of when he would return. I had to call the company, who told me that they had to assign a new plumber to the job. They should have contacted me to tell me this!
We went into the area that was surrounded by plastic and found a puddle of water that had been standing under the dehumidifier for days and had damaged our floorboards. We took pictures and I called the company, but II never heard back from them regarding this problem. We removed the dehumidifier, and it is still sitting outside of our house, six weeks after they first came to our house! They still haven't come to pick it up.
We then had to wait a couple of days for the new plumber to continue the job. I stayed home from work to meet him. He arrived looked at the job, and left after 2 minutes, telling us that he'd have to talk to the previous plumber about what had been done. Why didn't he do that before coming to the house?
They had to replace some of our subflooring in the upstairs bathroom. In the process, they had to cut a pipe. They left the pipe open overnight with water still flowing. They simply stuffed rolls of our toilet paper in the pipe to stop the water flow! In the middle of the night, a section of our ceiling collapsed due to the water leaking through the toilet paper, and we had water all over our newly installed hardwood floors! I called the company who said they'd put an emergency call in. It took them almost two hours to show up. They never apologized for the snafu.
I finally called the company and told them that we would find someone else to finish the job. They then charged us $5,500 for their unfinished work and poor service!! We could have completely remodeled our bathroom for this cost.
And to top it all off, when we had a new contractor come to finish the work, he showed us where Lords of Plumbing had reinstalled the toilet incorrectly!
I hate giving negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this nightmare of a situation.
I manage a handful of properties throughout LA and always have to search high and low for trustworthy vendors. I met with 4 plumbing companies and Lords of Plumbing was the only one that provided a pleasant experience from beginning to end.
I inquired about a repair through yelp and was helped by the owner Trevor. He was able to tell me what needed to be done by photos I provided and guided me to schedule the service through the office manager Gabby. She was quick, helpful, and friendly every time I reached out to her. After the first estimate I was provided I came back to her with lots of questions and she was able to provide me with all the answers I needed.
Edmund is the one who did a few repairs for us and did an amazing job. We had a leaking sink caused by it being poorly mounted by a different company, which he was able to fix and properly mount. We also had an old toilet with a broken flusher, so he sourced us the toilet of our choosing, installed it, and removed the old one from the house for us. He maintained health and safety protocol, was polite and respectful in the home, and very thorough with his work. The pricing he quoted us was always fair and he arrived on time to every appointment we had with him.
I am keeping Lords of Plumbing in my back pocket for any future plumbing work we need!
Super happy with an emergency Saturday day service. Edmund was at my place with 30 minutes. He was professional and courteous and was able to unclog my toilet with an hour. It's a rather involved job that needs to be done by snaking down through the pipes from the roof and he was able to do it all on his own, no problem. I was really in a jam with no working toilet and so thankful to Lords of Plumbing and Edmund coming to my rescue. He even said hello to my cat!

I called Lords of Plumbing for a back-up in my sewer line. They were very professional and organized. The first person tried to clear the line with a rooter but said the tree roots were too large to clear with his equipment and would have to use a waterjet (extra cost). The waterjet came later at night. They videoed it (extra cost) to show me the roots. They could not finish that night and said they would be back.
The next morning someone came early to work on it. By the time I was up and dressed he had already left, without talking to me. I thought he would have videoed it again to show me how they cleared it. Nope. The next day the first guy came to tell me they got it open and flowing but their equipment broke doing it. And because of the extensive root invasion they cannot guarantee their work for a year and it will probably be a problem again in 6 months. My bill was $950.
Three week later I saw the sewer overflowing in the yard. One of the kids just took a bath and it looked like the entire bath water ended up in our front yard. We called Lords of Plumbing again but when they showed up they wanted to charge us again. They said they did not guarantee their work from the last job. Which they did say. But in 3 weeks there is no way the roots grew back that fast to block the line. The line may have been overflowing earlier than 3 weeks too, 3 weeks is just when I noticed it.
I feel they did not clear the line, they stopped working because their equipment broke, and I paid $950 for them to do an incomplete job. Plus I understood why they did not guarantee their work for a year or even 6 months but 3 weeks? Why would I pay them again not to clear my sewer line again?

Lords of Plumbing are the BEST! They are responsible, thorough and accessible with their work. I've never employed plumbers that are as professional as The Lords of Plumbing.
This is a company that does not listen to instructions and moves ahead without authorization from the client and at the client's expense. Following this, as well as the company's inability to solve a problem and instead making it worse, they would not respond when asked how they proposed to make things right. A truly difficult company to deal with. Frauds of Plumbing would be a better name. Better luck elsewhere!

I was very happy with them for many years, then everything changed.
I needed to have our main line cleaned out, but was told that we didn't have 1 and was also told that it would take 2 guys a full day to install 1.
I found out from the 2nd company that we not only have 1, but 2 clean-outs.
We got this done for around $150, instead of paying 2 men a whole day!
How can people lie like that?! Sad what people will do for $.

The team at The Lords is fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough. Gabby is very knowledgeable and kind keeping track of the plumbers and customers. dan is a rockstar! He has done many projects at my house and he is a a consummate professional. He explains what is needed, allows me to make an educated decision that works for me and completes the job expertly each time. All the while patiently tolerating a barrage of questions from me and my sone. It is good to learn and Dan is a fabulous teacher.
You can't go wrong calling the Lords for your plumbing needs. I have Dan coming by this Friday to help install new fixtures- this is how much we trust their work!

Earlier in the week I called a much larger company, Sunset West, and after waiting 48 hours for no returned call, I took a chance on Lords of Plumbing. Michael called me back immediately and was able to come over promptly. He was friendly, clear about what was wrong (which, among other things, was the result of some incompetent work by another plumber) and he followed up as promised the next day with information about the parts. Would definitely work with them again.
Omg!! We had non stop 'ghost flushing' from two toilets. It's the holidays so super annoying with everyone coming and going! A neighbor immediately responded with a recco for Lords of Plumbing- and I am eternally grateful!!. These guys made an immediate appointment- showed up on time, were smart, professional and charming- and fixed everything in under 20 minutes!! Literally service gold!!!! Love them!!!
GREAT service every time! I reach out to them anytime we have issues and they have great guys who come and check out the house. They've been here now maybe 2 or 3 times to help us. They are knowledgeable and always polite and great to work with. Thank you for helping us again today!!!

Thank you so much. This is the second time I used you to route out my old plumbing line. You're fast, efficient, honest, and didn't over charge me. I came home one night Christmas week and had a backed sewer line. If you have terra-cotta sewer lines we most likely can relate and know what tree roots can do. Luckily, I remembered that two of my neighbors are plumbers. The first one flat out said no! your answer was yes, even though you worked a 14 hour day. If you need a plumber ask for Manuel. From my experiences Manuel is a good plumber, didn't over charge me, and happened just to be my neighbor!
Lords is hit or miss. You might have a fine experience fixing a small item, but the larger the job and the more people involved, things go awry. I witnessed several shocking mistakes by junior people, and became frustrated by sometimes very long gaps in communication. The owner Trevor is well intentioned but is way too distracted by other business pursuits. When more professional plumbers saw their mistakes or diagnosed problems, they were not impressed. So- honest, well intentioned, but I regret to say distracted and not so good.
I have been really frustrated with this company, although we had ok experiences in the past. On Saturday I called because we needed some fixes made for a new dishwasher. Originally scheduled to have Manuel come out on Monday. Got a call on Monday, just before Manuel was scheduled to come, disaster at current job, has to come tomorrow. Ok, things happen. Tuesday comes and Manuel comes, gives a much more complicated diagnosis than the dishwasher installation guy had suggested. Ok, this has happened before (although always with this group: every fix requires significant changes) Once I talked to Manuel, I asked him to send me an official estimate to provide to my landlord. He said he would get it to me that afternoon. The next day, after multiple calls to the office, I finally got an estimate at the end of the day. I called multiple times today to try to schedule an appointment but either no one answered or I was told that Manuel had yet to respond with his availability. I even called Manuel myselc, to no avail. I dont know what is going on---maybe Manuel just doesn't want to fix our problem---but I am getting very little help from this company and I am about to stop using them.
Called for a repair on a leaky pipe under my mobile home.
The person that answered the phone informed me they don't work on mobile homes. She was very friendly and polite.
I ask her if she know any other plumber that do repair on mobile home, after a couple of minutes she was sorry but did not know of any plumbers. This is why I just gave 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Mike was terrific, he's been here before. This time a bigger job outside sewer line.
Always kept in touch and got the job done neatly and quickly.

Dan's the man! He was punctual, gave courtesy arrival time call, personable, informative, educational and honest. They are affordable and fast. They live up to the company name and image.
I've used this group many times in the past and have always been happy with them. I recently had a hose bib that needed to be relocated and was given a bid for $595. The price seemed high so I contacted another locally based, highly rated plumber on yelp who promptly came out and did the same job for $175. Maybe it's a one off, but their price for this particular job was inflated.

Prompt, personable and professional. Unfortunately they could not fix my particular problem but there was no charge!
After having an emergency plumbing issue with my kitchen sink,I did a search on yelp for a local plumber.Most could not come out the same day but Mike came out and was very prompt with his response.I am lucky that the issue was not worse but he took great care of the issue with a price that was affordable and more importantly didn't require him opening up the wall.The issue was fixed in about 2 and a half hours and the area was fully clean before he left.
If you live in Manhattan Beach area do not call this company. The are not friendly and they charge $150.00 just to come out and tell Hi. Another plumbing company trying to milk wealthy area.
The person who showed up was rude, cocky, came three times, said it was fixed each time, then each time the SoCal Gas inspector came over and said it was not fixed and was dangerous to leave on, turned it off. (FYI the SoCal Gas inspector was always very courteous, professional and dismayed a plumber would not be able to fix a wall heater and would leave it on in dangerous condition). The time I wasn't around for the Lords of Plumbing appointment the plumber hit on my girlfriend talking about her eyes making her uncomfortable. After three times coming over and failing to fix the unit they never refunded my landlord the money he spent on their incompetent work. They then said Well we have a wall heater specialist but you have to pay $150 to get him to come over. If they had a wall heater specialist probably best to send him over to fix our wall heater first... Or the second time... Or the third time when SoCal Gas still said your work didn't address the problem? So my landlord told them thanks but no thanks. Look elsewhere if you'd like courteous or competent service.
Mike provided service when the stem of the water filter broke off. He explained everything he was doing and the price, for the job, was fair. I would highly recommend Mike for any plumbing issue. And he smiled and smelled nice....
2 stars for friendly attitude and responsiveness but man are they overpriced. $300+ for a basic dishwasher install when others charge $120-150? I was surprised. So was he. Lords of Plumbing need to do some price comparison on their quotes as well as being able to quote a range over the phone so as not to waste their/my time.

I feel I should update the previous (below) review as today the company receptionist called me and said that the manager instructed her to refund all but the $45 I paid to Edmund yesterday. She was very apologetic and apparently the manager was concerned about what had transpired and wanted to make things right. I give the company credit for handling the matter in such a professional way. Perhaps it was only the one particular plumber (Edmund) they sent to us who acted unprofessionally and tried to take advantage of me financially.
Here's my original review from this morning:
I would absolutely not recommend this company. I had high hopes given all the positive reviews they received, but instead found them (or at least the guy they sent out) to be a rip-off artist.
We had a leak outside and because it occurred during the afternoon I wasn't able to get our regular plumber to come out (he comes from Orange County and always helps us with plumbing issues very early in the morning). Consequently, I googled local plumbers to find someone to come out immediately. Based on so many stellar reviews, I contacted Lords of Plumbing. Edmond came out a couple of hours after I called, which was great. I was told over the phone that I'd be charged $45 for the visit and that that amount would go towards the repair costs. Instead, after diagnosing the problem, Edmund charged me $123 just for coming out. He said he'd come by the next day with the parts and he'd do the repairs. When I asked for an estimate of what the repairs would cost, he told me it would take about 8 hours and that he'd only charge me for 7 hours of work plus the parts. The total would amount to about $1200. He made it sound as if he was doing me a favor, giving me some kind of a break in costs. He kept talking about how he'd love to help me out, but this is business and he can't do it for less.
As the estimate seemed completely unreasonable, I ended up calling our regular plumber, who came out at 5:30 this morning, did the repairs, replaced all the parts, finished the whole job in about 1 hour and charged me $750 in total. It turns out my instincts were correct in not trusting Edmund!

Took six weeks working on a small job. Showed up sporadically throughout - poor communication. Inspector failed their work two times and told me I should be embarassed by their shoddy work. Was not fun to be called out like that by the inspector. The owner lied to my face when I told him what needed to be fixed and he told me he would do it. He then promptly proceeded to cut corners leading to the second failed inspection.
My handyman was able to get the job done on the first try and pass inspection.
When I called the company they said that it would be $45 service fee to just get them out there, which I was fine with, and the $45 would be credited from whatever service fees we would need to get done. We only had a few places to inspect (bathroom sink, water heater, etc.). When I spoke to the actual plumber he started adding all these fees to just inspect. It's one thing if it's a complex inspection and another to just look at it. Anyhow, did not like the tone and especially did not like the hidden fees. His tone was well you just did not ask enough questions about the fee structure. That was my cue to cancel.
I highly recommend Lords of Plumbing, have used them many times before, and Mike was fantastic.

We had a leak in our shower and were forced to shut the water off in our house. We called this business for emergency service on Friday 12/6 at 10:30am. We were told they'd arrive between 12:00-2:00pm. They then called and advised they were running late and said 4:00-6:00p. By 5:30 I had enough so i called to figure out where they were-- I had to track them down. What?!?! What type of operation are these guys running? . Ends up they couldn't come out and apologized for messing up this scheduling. We wasted 6 hours and missed a full day of work. This service is extremely unprofessional and I DO NOT recommend anyone using them. Call anybody else!
I had a huge problem with the pipes from my house to the sewer. Mike came and was professional, gave me an estimate and fixed the problem. While it was expensive, I think it was fair and was a big job. He prevented my having to do a much bigger job by lining the pipes. He came back a couple weeks later for a toilet stoppage and although he said it was not related, he worked for two hours and didn't charge me, which I really appreciated after spending a lot of money the time before. This was above and beyond and I found out from the owner, was done on his own time, and was his own decision not to charge me.

Was kind of under a time crunch to replace a commercial water heater (100 gallon, 200k BTU). Shopped around and got a couple of bids and Lords was the best. I spoke with a number of people with the company in person, though my go to contact was Manual, who was super transparent about everything. Installation was mostly pain free on our end and they pulled the permit for us with the city. After everything was done, Manual even showed us how to maintain the heater to get a couple more years out of it.
We'll be using Lords in the future for bigger jobs where a permit is necessary and/or it pays to have professionals know exactly what they're doing.
Another great experience with LOP. Kitchen drain pipe under the house was severely leaking. Likely was leaking for a long time. Initially looked like wall would have to opened up and major sections of pipe replaced. After Mike's crew cleaned up the mess under the crawl space he was able to get a closer look and determined that replacing only smaller section was required. They reduced pipe replacement price by 50%!
Scheduled a week out and they came on time. The plumber that came did not seem knowledgeable and didn't really want to investigate the plumbing issue I had (leaky showerhead). He wasn't at all familiar with the shower mechanism and seemed very confused with how it worked, and wouldn't even touch it to investigate, so I asked him to fix the bathtub spray nozzle. When he said he was finished, the spray nozzle worked, but it didn't send all the water to it so the faucet was still on as well. When I asked why it didn't work as expected he said at least the nozzle works now. I expected better service and expertise than this from all the positive reviews, maybe he just had a bad day? I don't know but my honest experience was definitely not amazing. I will have to call someone else for help.

I called the company for a last-minute visit and they fit me in I even had to cancel and then they still fit me in the day that I canceled. Daniel came to my house it was amazing. He Sussed out the situation quickly -worked on it and gave me a fair price at the end. I've been through so many plumbers and so many companies that have overcharged me, and not fixed the problem. I'm so stoked to be able to say that Lords Of Plumbing is my new go to for everything. Look no further.
Lords of Plumbing is reliable, professional and gets the job done. No drama, no crazy reasons why something doesn't work and why they have to come back another day and bring a random part that costs $75 or $100 bucks! They are just straight up great! Daniel installed our dishwasher in our corporate offices in Beverly Hills. Everything was seamless and he was very clean. He also took the broken dishwasher with him. The install took him two hours but everything runs and works perfectly.
I would recommend LofP to anyone and everyone that needs reliable, dependable plumbers.

Very professional. Miguel replaced a busted garbage disposal for me quickly. Everything worked out very well.
Dishwasher install has gone very poorly. After installation, dishwasher started failing to drain only 3 weeks later. They came out to fix. After another 3 weeks, it has started failing to drain again. They gave me a two-hour service window. I arranged to be home for that window. Only after the window had passed did they call to tell me that they could not come today. Totally unsatisfactory.
Update: I am upgrading to two stars from one. The problem both times came from a clogged air gap, which I am told needs to be replaced, as it is old and falling apart. Ordinarily, I would not blame them for this. But on initial installation, I was told by the installer that he was leaving the air gap as is because it was fine. They also missed the appointment yesterday, and there was no mention of a need to replace the bad air gap at installation or the first time they came out to repair. So, two stars.

10/10 service. Super professional, polite and always saves my ass. I call these guys Everytime there is a issues for my house.
I've found my new plumbers! Daniel did an exceptional job -- came in, fixed three of our toilet supply lines, and did it all in a hour. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and fast!
We even asked his opinion on some other issues we had around the house and he told us that as of now that the work is not needed. I LOVE that he was honest and did not try to sell unnecessary work to us to make more money.
But we will DEFINITELY use them again as we do have one more thing we need fixed, but we have to buy the parts first.

I had a broken Kitchen Faucet that I was trying to fix myself for a while but I just don't have the right tools. The location of my garbage disposal made access impossible and i was making things worse trying to deal with it myself.
I cast aside my inherent cheapness and looked a plumber up on Yelp. It was a Sunday and Lords of Plumbing was available.
They figured out a way to have someone come by that day. Price was reasonable and they charged me exactly what they quoted on the phone. That makes a big difference to me.
The guy told me it was a six person operation located in Venice. Seems like mostly young guys. I highly recommend!
p.s. called them a second time to replace a broken toilet tank. Still awesome.
I called the Lords of Plumbing after another plumbing company stood me up. They were able to fit me into their schedule the next day, which was a Saturday. I liked that Trevor gave me a range of time I should expect someone to arrive. Edmond came on time and took care of what he could that day. He gave me fair estimates for the other work needed (replace regulator & bathroom faucet) and came back the following week for the installations. He also took the time to check if anything else was leaking in the pipes and sewer line below the house. He thoroughly explained to me why things were happening so I felt comfortable proceeding with the repairs. Also recommended brands and websites I could shop for faucets and shower heads, etc. Overall, legit and down to earth vibe for this homeowner.
So happy that I called Lords of Plumbing! When your ceiling is leaking from your upstairs toilet, you want that handled ASAP! I called and Hiracio came out within an hour. He was very professional, figured out the problem, fixed it quickly, and the price was incredibly reasonable! I will always call Lords of Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

Once again, the Lords of Plumbing came through for me. Matt came today to help diagnose a mysterious problem. He was smart, thoughtful, and gave me the right advice. I chose Lords of Plumbing due to their good yelp reviews, but unfortunately I could not have had a much worse experience with this company and their admin procedures.
The guy who I believe to be the owner, Manuel, came to our house to inspect a couple of toilets and promised a quote/estimate to be emailed the following day (with work completed at a later date as well). The invoice was never sent, and I even followed up 3x, speaking with him personally to get this quote, and each time he promised to send it the next day - failing to ever deliver.
Additionally, Manuel was rude, curt and unfriendly on these 3 follow up occasions over the phone. I needed the estimate to provide the city of Santa Monica proof of a leak so we could be reimbursed by them by a certain deadline. Thanks to the major Lords of Plumbing fail, I wasn't able to make this deadline and received no money back...and the work was never done. I really don't know why they didn't want this business. SMH
Best plumbers I have ever hired. 100% trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable and great people. They do not upsell or overcharge! they try to give you the most cost effective option they can. The discuss solutions and work within your budget as best as they can. I always call them! Prompt, honest, friendly and helpful....they always go above and beyond.

Very pleased with the work Dan did in installing my Omica water filtration system. He went above and beyond to troubleshoot around an incompatible faucet I had in place by finding and ordering one that was compatible along with searching for the right adapters to make sure everything would work properly together. I had spent the previous couple of months going back and forth with the filtration company and trying to find the correct adapters to my incompatible faucet to then giving up & procrastinating on getting it installed due to the frustration of it all. Finally I caved and called Lords of Plumbing due to all the good yelp reviews! After an in depth consultation devising the most efficient action plan to resolving the incompatible parts to get this thing installed Dan also helped me realize i was missing a reservoir tank which I was fortunately able to order & get installed after the fact. Grateful for your depth of knowledge and dedicated work ethic to make sure everything was running smoothly and that there are no future problems with my filtration system it's been working great ever since!
These guys are the best, they stand behind their work 110%. They don't try and sell you more than what you need.

Had my toilet backed up. I picked these guys because of their dope logo. Sometimes you can completely judge a book by its cover. I was able to get an appointment about an hour after I called. Matt came by and was super friendly, and didn't mind the 100 questions I asked him. He was super professional and made sure he cleaned anything his gloves touched. It was probably the most painless plumber experience I've had. I would totally recommend, 5/5.
I initially contacted Lords of Plumbing based on their reviews, and 5 stars is not enough! Joshua came out on time after calling me 30 minutes in advance. Wow, what a stellar plumber, and all around great person!
Joshua quickly diagnosed the issue, worked on both the sink and shower, and did such an amazing job cleaning up after the service, you would never have known there was work done in the house. The black stuff that came out of the drains was truly nasty, and not a drop of anything anywhere.
I have found our new plumbers to add on speed dial as I know we will not be disappointed. Thank you, Joshua for such a remarkable job that was pleasant, and affordable!!

I have had them out multiple times and the service has always been excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services. I have dealt with numerous unethical and unskilled plumbers over the years, so it is incredibly refreshing to work with such a professional organization.
The best service I've ever encountered from a plumbing company. I used them originally to have a new garbage disposal installed and a broken faucet replaced, which they took care of quickly and for a fair price. What really distinguishes a company though is how they handle any post-service issues that come up. The disposal turned out to have an internal manufacturing defect (unrelated to the installation) that manifested after a few months. Trevor was able to come out the morning after I called, determined that it would need to be replaced, and called the manufacturer for me to explain the situation and secure an in-warranty replacement. He charged nothing for this visit, and was incredibly friendly and professional throughout. He then came back after the replacement arrived and installed it, again charging nothing (and I offered!). That kind of honesty has earned my future business, and I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

The Lords of Plumbing are King!
I can't begin to state how fortunate my wife and I are to have found the Lords of Plumbing. They are remarkably honest and do awesome work at an incredibly low cost. We've used LoP three times in about as many years, and each time they have saved us hundreds of dollars over what we expected (or feared) we might spend. The first time, on very short notice, Trevor came to seal off a faulty gas line, saving us from the wrath of the gas company who shut off our home's gas until a repair could be made. The second time, Dan examined our lawn sprinkler system, which we thought might need a huge overhaul, and instead he simply blew a chunk of dirt out of the system and charged us minimally. The third time, Manuel found and eliminated the source of a bad odor caused by faulty work by a different plumber. Each of these visits could have resulted in much larger costs--another company might have not been so honest, speedy, and helpful. Look no further and call these guys!
Lords of plumbing came for an estimate, and we verbally agreed on replacing the cast iron pipes. They did not produce a written estimate at the time, and promised to email the estimate later. When I received the estimate it was written without mentioning ALL repairs that were agreed verbally. I called the office 3 times asking to re-write the estimate that would include ALL pipes that are corroded or showing sign of corrosion and be inline with verbal estimate. When they showed up 2.5 hours later then scheduled (10:30AM instead of 8am) it turned out that plumber was not aware of the changes of the estimate and was not planning to replace half of the pipes. Long story short it was a waste of time for everyone involved. Whoever is the business owner at Lords Plumbing, should train office staff to communicate with everyone involved in the job about changes in the estimate produced.
I enthusiastically recommend Daniel. I was in a real pinch. We had a bad gas leak. Gas Company shut off the gas. Daniel came out the next morning. He pressure tested the lines, found the leak, did a check of all our gas appliances, gave me a quote for the repair. He came the next day and did the work. He came on time, worked diligently, was not bother by our two golden retrievers, who insisted on helping Daniel. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner. The best experience one could have if you need to have plumbing work.
I highly recommend Lords of Plumbing. I have used them a couple of times now, and the service has been great both times. The appointments are easy to set up, their employees are top notch, and the pricing is reasonable.
The Call:
I called Lords of Plumbing to repair a leaky faucet, but suspected that replacement would make more financial sense. I spoke to Trevor who confirmed this, and when I asked about what to buy he explained in detail what brands he recommends and even what stores to avoid because they overcharge. Trevor gave a reasonable flat rate quote of $132 for a faucet replacement, so I booked it.
The Install:
The install ended up costing only $123.90. A great rate considering the installer Daniel was here over an hour I believe. Daniel explained everything clearly, informing me the options of placement of faucet knob, etc. I'm so happy with my new pro style drop down faucet.
Conclusion:
Would use Lords of Plumbing again.

Asked a technician to come out on short notice. He showed up at the tail end of the two-hour window, but walked in, diagnosed the valve issue immediately, fixed it, and said No Charge. We've used this company before and so are regular customers, but that's the kind of thing he didn't have to do. So they can expect my next call as well, for sure.
Matt came out on a Saturday to snake out a main line block. Most friendly plummber ive met! Got me sorted out quick. Definitely recommend using them when you get into a plumbing pinch
Really nice work for a fair price.
They replaced a defective water pressure regulator [30 years old and broken] and,
replaced a sink filter that had to be cut out of the bottom of the sink [30-60 years old] and the plumbing that tied the sink to the drain.
I plan to call them when I need work in the future,
So happy to find this plumber! Matt was great. They got here in twenty minutes and were out in about the same amount time. Will recommend to all!
Fast and easy service! I called about a drain issue and they were able to fit me in Right away. Matt called 30 minutes prior and was on-time, courteous, and efficient. He even showed my fianceé how to fix the problem on his own should it ever happen in the future. Highly recommend!
On several occasions, Daniel and his team at Lords of Plumbing (formerly Honest Plumbing) have offered us a fast and cost effective service.
The last time we had Daniel in, our pipes were in such a horrible state that the snake got completely stuck in the pipe. Daniel did everything (including damaging his own equipment) to get the snake out without having to remove any piping and add extra cost. He managed to get it out and was nothing but apologetic about the hassle even though the issue was 100% caused by our old piping.
Would recommend them in a heart beat.

Never thought I would write a Yelp review for a plumbing company, but these guys saved the day yesterday and deserve a big shout out! Apparently, we have a customized shower set up and the first plumbing company we called did not know how to fix it. When I called Lords of Plumbing, Trevor came on the phone to assist me and assure me they are experienced and can help me. He was right! Daniel arrived on time. He was respectful and even took off his shoes (we have a no shoe in house policy). Most importantly, he fixed our leeky water pipe in an hour - incredibly professional service! Thank you Trevor and Daniel. By the way, our kitchen sink is now leaking slowly so I'll be calling you again soon!

This is your plumber if you live west of the 405 and north of the 90. They've done larger jobs for me (replacing a bunch of stuff in a rental unit) and smaller jobs (poorly installed -- by someone else -- kitchen faucet fix). They make quick turn around appointments, give you a reasonable service time window, show up when they say they will, are friendly and professional, explain why you should or should not do things, and are very reasonable in price. It's hard to get peace of mind when you are looking for trade professionals because there are so many shady companies who will be less than truthful or overcharge or convince you that you need something you didn't ask for. With Lords, I have peace of mind that when it comes to plumbing installation/repair, I have nothing to worry about.
Lords of Plumbing is hands-down the best plumbing company in LA!!! Dan, and the rest of the team, are professional, punctual and highly skilled. Don't waste your time and money on anyone else :)

Emailed them last night at 10 pm on their website about a plumbing issue at my place in Venice. They called me at 8 am and the plumber showed up at 9 am and was done by 915-920. He has seen my apartment before with the last tenant and knew the plumbing was a little tricky.
Highly recommended. Fast. Professional. Will definitely be using them in the future.
Trevor and Gabby are amazing humans. I highly recommend them! I needed to swap out my shower head and he came by and of course I bought the wrong size but he happened to have what I needed on hand. Installed it in seconds and was kind enough to waive the fee. A gentleman and a craftsman. :)
Matt came by my restaurant to fix a clogged urinal this afternoon and he was incredible. On time, super efficient and quick, and extremely friendly. I used Lords of Plumbing to re-connect all of my sinks and bathroom faucets after getting new countertops in my house. They were the quickest company to quote the work, showed up on time, and had a great price.
During installation day, the team at Lords of Plumbing recommended the best faucets to get, and even went out on their own to get a few parts that were better quality for us. They stayed until the job was done perfectly and it was an awesome experience all around.
I need to say that if you are looking for an honest, kind, responsive company that comes out promptly and gets the job done, look no further!! Trevor listened to my issue and despite the fact that it was late afternoon, toward the end of the day, he told me that he would he had someone not far from my home and he would try to get him here right away and if they couldn't get here, he would come himself. Manual and Matt came over quickly. They were very nice, clean and knowledgeable. They fixed the problem very quickly and they did not try to rip me off or overcharge. They were reasonably priced and I would recommend them to anybody. It is refreshing to find a service company that has such excellent customer service and integrity!! Called them this AM around 10, they fit me in during the afternoon and offered great service. Edwin showed up and was super cool/friendly. We've used Lords of Plumbing twice now (Dan the first time and Edmund the second time), for a variety of issues - a leak in our kitchen, issues with our garbage disposal, and toilet. Their service is as good as it gets. Can't say enough positive things. They were courteous, professional, on time and they didn't waste any time getting the job done and didn't try to sell me anything that wasn't necessary. And unlike most, they even took their shoes off before entering the house!
Their 2 service window is extremely convenient (most usually give you a 4 hour window) and they call with advance notice when they are en route. And the price is VERY reasonable and was consistent with what they quoted me on the phone.
I highly recommend Lords of Plumbing. You won't be disappointed.
The first time I tried Honest Plumbing, Dan came over and fixed EVERYTHING. He was attentive, honest, and a darn good plumber.
The issue I have comes with the second time I tried to get a hold of Honest Plumbing. I called back in November and left a message. No response. I called in December and left another message. Again, no response.
On March 25, I called and actually got Dan on the phone. He's awesome. He scheduled someone on March 27, 2013 to come to my house to give me a quote.
The guy was forty-five minutes late. I explained that I wanted a written quote so that I could discuss it with my husband. He assured me that he would send one.
He took no notes and gave me off the cuff quotes.
As he was leaving, I gave him my email address because he said that was the easiest way to get me the quote. And then I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
A week later, I called to see what the deal was with the quote that he said he'd send later that day. Oh, I'll let him know, said the gal on the phone. Nothing.
A week after that I called again. Same thing.
A week after that I called again. Yes, I called three times just for a quote--Dan's that good. But nothing. At least she remembered me when I called.
So, one star. Dan's great if you can get him, but the rest of them don't get back to you, which is absolutely useless when you have two sinks that leak.

Once upon a time, our workspace mourned the loss of one of our toilets.
We sulked around for a few weeks, but finally decided that a piece of us was missing - that two toilets are definitely better than one in a studio full of coffee-guzzling inhabitants and clients. We got a quote from Honest Plumbing and made an appointment for the next morning.
Dan showed up at the very beginning of our time window and worked his magic - fixing the problem in less than 20 minutes, and charging less than we'd expected! FLAWLESS VICTORY.

Amazing service, fast response and great prices! Recently we purchased a 1907 Victorian home in Venice. Our pressure valve was leaking on our tankless water heater and we were in need of a good plumber. My husband is fairly mechanical and knew it was a quick fix and that it should not be that pricy. We took pictures of the valve and requested a quote.
When I called Lords of Plumbing, Gaby provided a mobile phone that I could send my pictures to. Most companies required you to send the pictures via email. She was the fastest to respond with a quote that was LESS THAN HALF the price of their competitors. She promptly scheduled an appointment for the following day which was great because we were suffering through cold showers. Trevor arrived on Saturday morning. He was friendly and polite. He quickly resolved the issue and offered maintenance advice for our tankless. It didn't feel like he was trying to upsell another service.
Overall, they are an honest company that delivers a dependable service. It is really hard to find a plumber that you can trust and is not trying to take advantage of the situation. I would definitely recommend using Lords of Plumbing. From my chat with Trevor, they seem to be very established in the Marnia /Venice area. We plan to use them the next time we run into an issue! So a relief to find a good, reliable honest plumber for our old house!

Absolutely the best service out there. Great guys. Dan came in, fixed the main and was wrapped up in no more than 10 minutes. Best value - no question.
Don't write reviews often - only when something goes above and beyond - on time/very reasonable/friendly/and they fix the problem.
Strong endorsement of these guys. Appointment was set up quickly and efficiently and the next day Matt came out to help diagnose a possible leak in the ceiling. He did a great job.
The problem we are trying to solve is complicated and requires some monitoring, but by the time he left I felt empowered and informed on next steps, and I feel that the work that he performed was efficient and thorough. He was also extremely professional and easy to work with -- good bedside manner. I was billed fairly and feel like I got my money's worth out of the call.
Arrived on schedule, gave me a courtesy call in advance to let me know he was on his way, and cleaned up (from opening the ceiling) after himself.
Five stars well deserved in my books. Ask for Matt. He's great.
Lots of Plumbing did a really good job at lining my sewage line. They were really honest, got the job done on time and had a competitive price. I'd definitely use them again.
BEWARE. I placed a call in for a main line stoppage. They promptly came out within 2 hours as stated and cleared it for $165. The following week the drains start to back-up again as the plumber probably didn't clear the line completely. When I called them to have the plumber return to snake the main line completely, I was told it would take 3 days to return to correctly clear the original job. Since I couldn't wait 3 days I called another plumbing company (Padilla Plumbing) and they did the job properly. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORK.

I usually do minor work at my place, but the main shutoff was leaking. I didn't want the chance of messing things further. So, I called in the professionals. Lords of Plumbing came right on time and was reasonably priced compared to the last two plumbers I called. They even knew that galvanized plumbing did not go well with copper and correctly replaced it. So, I would definitely call them again!
My three bad plumbing experiences in the 10 years prior were almost worth it to be able to immediately measure how different these guys are.
Water was seeping under all my walls, perhaps from the toilet, shower, and or washing machine. They got there quickly, though i had not been a customer before and quickly shut off the flow.
Next they shared the scenarios they had been able to quickly rule out and what information was needed for us to know what the solutions was.
We agreed on a course of action somewhere between the most minor patching and replacing everything. They were clear in describing what we were betting the problem was and where we might be wrong, and advised this course so that we didn't over-spend unnecessarily \
Unfortunately we lost that bet. A week later it happened again. They were right out at my house again. Cleared the iines again, added a way to make it easier to be sure it was working. Took it to the next level. And left. No charge. (That was a big surprise. They had been up front the previous time about the work and gave me the option to make a bet that the cause was not the more expensive problem. So when it seemed like we'd lost the gamble, i figured i'd be on the line. .)
Then it happened again. Again they were right out. And again were clear on what they were doing. Again, no charge, though they said that if they had to come out again they would need to. (Again, a nice surprise) . That third time was the charm and haven't had problems since, and that was more than a year ago.

these guys know their plumbing . They bill fairly and as professionals. (And i have no problem paying when billed fairly for the work these guys do and the uh,stuff they have to deal with .)
They also interact like real people, I'm comfortable having them in my house, and they have the best logo ever.
My experience with them has been for both major and minor issues, some requiring quite a bit of investment and my take has been the same each time. This is not one of the seemingly common contractors who overdeliver on the tiny jobs to get good yelp and then gouge the big jobs.
Pleased to review them and wish i'd remembered to finish this months ago.

Called these guys at 5pm on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit us in at 9am the next day. Matt was friendly, diligent, and professional -- he even cleaned and Lysol'd everything when he was done!! He was also helpful enough to suggest our best next course of action to get a handle on our building's plumbing situation. I saw the name of this company on Yelp and thought Yeah right. But the reviews were positive and from real accounts so I gave them a shot.
Trevor arrived exactly on time to the minute. He fixed my problem, and another smaller problem I didnt realize I had. Charged me 1 hour labor fee and that was it, since he didnt need replacement parts. Five stars.
Called Honest Plumbing at the last minute last week when I had forgotten the card for another plumber I had used. Best things about Trevor is:
1. 24hr plumbing - which is great now that I work a 9-5
2. he was a really good guy (put up with my puppy) and fixed the tub quickly
3. the prices are less than at least 5 other places I called!
Trevor and Honest Plumbing are our new go-to plumbing service.

I recently used Lords of Plumbing for the second time, and was extremely satisfied in all respects both times. They were able to send out a plumber, Matt, within 24 hours. Matt arrived on time, took his time to make sure that the problem was properly and successfully addressed, and even gave me a tutorial and some parts so that I could take care of an issue with my toilet on my own and without charge. Matt's help, professionalism and great attitude were all greatly appreciated. The price was reasonable - not cheap but not too expensive. I recommend Lords of Plumbing and Matt in particular without reservation.
Manuel and the Lords of Plumbing are the best plumbers I've ever met. I met them when I had a nightmare Roto Rooter situation in my backyard. I was getting shaken down by Roto Rooter and they broke my sump pump. I asked The Lords for advice and they were honest and upfront of how it should be done, but without any expectation or angle to get work- just wanting to help. I just hired them to fix my toilet as a result of such upstanding ethics and they fixed it in 30 mins and within 24 hours of calling them on Sunday. Unreal. Easy peasy. Straight up and professional.
We needed a new sink installed and were having a hard time finding a plumber who would return our call or show up for the estimate. What the heck? But Trevor at Lords of Plumbing was awesome! One late afternoon recently, we discovered moisture seeping through our kitchen's oak floor, so we immediately looked online for a plumber. The person who answered the phone & listened to our story was professional, asked appropriate questions & said someone would be at our house between 8 and 10 the next morning. Manuel arrived a few minutes after 10 & immediately went to work & soon determined it was a slow- leak in our dishwasher's hose that was ruining our beautiful floor. After decades of interactions with various plumbers whether independent or employees of companies--we were really greatful to have encountered a professional like Manuel. We all know the many jokes about stereotypical plumbers, :-o -- but none of them would have applied to Manuel because he was polite, professional and looked totally together hygiene-wise. ;-)
In addition to figuring out what the problem was fairly quickly, he gave us valuable (free) information and advice, including suggesting we trash the d/w because at age 8--regardless of how good it looked & had been working, it was already at the end of its life. We agreed because this LG was a lemon and we had to fight with LG to repair it (wiring problems, TWICE). He also suggested that we have the new d/w installed by the store we buy it from because it would be less expensive than using them. LORDS of PLUMBING were a pleasant surprise in all ways.
We also asked about their unusual --& humorous to us--company name and their logo of a lovely Saint holding a large red-handled monkey wrench. Manuel explained that it WASN'T the Virgin Mary, but Saint Rose of Lima, Peru, who cut off her hair & messed up her face to try to dissuade suitors from being attracted by her beauty. At any rate, we like LORDS arty sense of humor and we like & appreciate them. We're praying (no pun intended) that we don't have another big, expensive plumbing problem, but we know who we're gonna call! LORDS OF PLUMBING!
Awesome service. Matt was great -- installed a new toilet and helped with a clogged drain. Professional, courteous, helpful. Would definitely recommend them!

I saw the name of this company on Yelp and thought Yeah right. But the reviews were positive and from real accounts so I gave them a shot.
Trevor arrived exactly on time to the minute. He fixed my problem, and another smaller problem I didnt realize I had. Charged me 1 hour labor fee and that was it, since he didnt need replacement parts. Five stars.
Called Honest Plumbing at the last minute last week when I had forgotten the card for another plumber I had used. Best things about Trevor is:
1. 24hr plumbing - which is great now that I work a 9-5
2. he was a really good guy (put up with my puppy) and fixed the tub quickly
3. the prices are less than at least 5 other places I called!
Trevor and Honest Plumbing are our new go-to plumbing service.

Had some issues with water pressure in my bathroom sink and shower. Edmund came by and cleared it and water pressure is back, if not better than it was. Great service with great pricing, would definitely call them again to fix my many plumbing issues. Thanks again!

Lords of Plumbing answered my call immediately, scheduled an appointment the very next day, the service man arrived on time and was courteous, knew exactly what he needed to do to fix the leaking pipes under my kitchen sink, had a pleasant demeanor, and got the job done quickly and for a price that seemed perfectly reasonable to me. I recently used Lords of Plumbing for the second time, and was extremely satisfied in all respects both times. They were able to send out a plumber, Matt, within 24 hours. Matt arrived on time, took his time to make sure that the problem was properly and successfully addressed, and even gave me a tutorial and some parts so that I could take care of an issue with my toilet on my own and without charge. Matt's help, professionalism and great attitude were all greatly appreciated. The price was reasonable - not cheap but not too expensive. I recommend Lords of Plumbing and Matt in particular without reservation.
Manuel and the Lords of Plumbing are the best plumbers I've ever met. I met them when I had a nightmare Roto Rooter situation in my backyard. I was getting shaken down by Roto Rooter and they broke my sump pump. I asked The Lords for advice and they were honest and upfront of how it should be done, but without any expectation or angle to get work- just wanting to help. I just hired them to fix my toilet as a result of such upstanding ethics and they fixed it in 30 mins and within 24 hours of calling them on Sunday. Unreal. Easy peasy. Straight up and professional.
