We had a plumbing issue recently and decided to call Beach Plumbing based on their amazing reviews. All I can say initially is wow! The level of customer service we received is just something you don't see these days anymore. From the girl who answered the phone, to Edwin who was the technician that gave the estimate for our work, to AD and Louie who did the work; everyone at Beach was attentive, respectful, and just plain awesome! We had a pretty bad drain backup that was caused by our old iron pipe system, and had multiple plumbing companies over to give estimates to fix it, and even though Beach Plumbing was the most expensive, the value they provide as a company far outshined their competitors. The level of detail and care Edwin gave us is unmatched, he went over every possible option and solution we had from doing a small repair, to being proactive and taking care of our issue for good, he really left no stone unturned, and it had us convinced that they were the company for us. The best part was, they used equipment that saved us from having to tear apart our beautiful hardwood floors to fix our sewer, no other company even offered that!!! If you are looking for a company that will treat you well, be transparent, and is full of superstar staff, Beach Plumbing is a no brainer.

Loved this company! I had a garbage disposal repair and Edwin was our Technician. He was on time, professional, and communicated really well about the process. Edwin was very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel comfortable.

In the past we went with a different local plumbing company for a large job and it didn't go well at all. But this company restored our faith. Great customer service, easy process, good vibe.

We have other large plumbing projects we need done and just based off of this one repair we feel really confident with Beach Plumbing. They are for sure getting our business next time around!

We bought an older home with cast iron pipes and they started to back up because they were so badly corroded. Beach Plumbing came in and helped replace our overflow and clean out trap for our washing machine so it doesn't overflow into the garage anymore. They did the work quickly and repaired the drywall wonderfully.

I have to preface this review saying that I did not use Beach Plumbing,, however, I did interact with them quite a bit and felt the need to review them based on their awesome customer service!

I reached out for information and a quote regarding a leak with my dishwasher line and the air gap. The other three companies who received my request responded with call us to schedule an appointment. Beach Plumbing, on the other hand, asked me one or two more questions and were able to basically pinpoint the problem of the leak.

They do not service condos, that's why I was not able to use their services. They did let me know that luckily it was not a plumbing issue and I could have a handyman fix it for less.
They were so nice, up front, and honest that I really wanted to let people know that I would totally recommend using them if you have a plumbing problem. They didn't try to come out and charge me to evaluate something that sounded like a handyman situation versus a plumbing situation. They took the time to ask two more questions and were able to solve the problem and save me a lot of money! Well, maybe not a lot of money because they seem like an honest company and would not have charged me an arm and a leg to fix it, but they also didn't want to waste my time and money.

I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know that has a house that needs any plumbing repairs! They are very responsive!

Thank you, Beach Plumbing, even though I didn't get to use your services, I really appreciate your efforts pinpointing the problem and being upfront and honest about what you service and recommending a less expensive route for me.

Watch out for these bandits! I own a fourplex and had problems with two shower valves. I've owned this building for almost 40 years so this is not my first time dealing with this problem. Usually it is fixed by replacing the valve cartridge and not the whole valve. This is a relatively simple fix.

I called Beach Plumbing for an appointment and their guy showed up promptly. With very little inspection he told me I needed to replace the complete valve assemblies, which would require cutting into the wall, cutting out the valves a soldering in new pipe connections and putting a big plate over the hole they create. The cost quoted was over $1500 per valve, over $3000 for the whole job. I asked about replacing the cartridges and he said that wouldn't work. I asked why it would cost so much. He claimed it would take a full day of labor for each valve plus the valve cost. That still didn't add up to anything close to $1500+. When pressed further he claimed that the company wants each job to be 50% profit (cost +100%). Nice work if you can get it.

I told him I would need to get other prices and if that is the best market price I will schedule the work. I also asked him to send me the quote, which I never received. I called another local plumber and they sent someone over right away. He discovered that one valve was actually working fine and replaced the other valve in about 30 minutes for $350. How happy am I to solve the problem for $350 instead of $3000+?

Lesson learned: you can't rely on positive yelp reviews. You need to do your homework and get multiple bids/estimates. And just because someone looks professional and trustworthy doesn't mean they won't do whatever it takes to get as much money as they can from you.

Beach Plumbing is the ONLY service to use! I had a big problem - broken sewer vent pipe - so smelly! Edwin came in and gave a competitive quote for the work. Even though the house had copper pipes installed 15 years ago, they were thin and starting to fail. I also needed a new water heater. The work took 3 days and Adan and his crew were great! Their work and work ethic are outstanding. I'll spread the word that Beach Plumbing is the BEST!

By far the most professional plumbing company I have ever hired. The service tech Matthew did an outstanding job at our property. There's this stigma associated with the trade that you are gonna get hustled for more then you need or to pay more then typical, but Matthew proved Beach Plumbing to be the outlier. He explained what needed to be done and broke down what I was pay and why. 10/10 would recommend always!!

I appreciate the response. I just think charging 3k to replace the 100$ housing is unethical, this is my opinion. I know labor is valued and is priced with that in mind. I am a very understandable and reasonable person, but charging more to replace the housing than what the water tank costs seems odd. Trying to convince me to redo the entire water heater format for my entire house seems odd, especially when I gave you my budget, and trying to get me to finance with you guys seemed odd too. I am not the only one who thought this, and this thought was supported when 3 other companies gave me their estimates. I wish you guys the best. Happy holidays.

Had a clogged bathroom sink drain and their tech came out for a free evaluation. Appointment was easy to make and the company was responsive in all communication leading up to the visit. While they were not able to solve the issue during that appointment, the tech Edwin was very thorough in his work and explanation of the problem and all options we had to repair it, including cost estimates. I can't say enough nice things about Beach Plumbing. I noticed my sewer line was beginning to back up in the late morning. I called Beach Plumbing and that evening Matthew Estrada was at my house and diagnosed the issues and cleared the line so we could function for a day until they could begin the repairs. Adan (AD) Medina spent two full days at my house replacing and the older pipes that had stopped functioning. Big thanks to Matthew and AD as well as the rest of the team who called, texted and checked in throughout the two and half days of the work and followed up to see how things were going after the repair. We called Beach Plumbing as new customers after reading the plethora of five-star reviews. Matt Estrada diagnosed the problems with our sewer system and discussed the options to remedy them. He explained everything thoroughly and we developed a nice rapport.
The entire crew consisting of Matt, Alberto, Andy, Luis and Roberto were prompt, efficient, professional, organized and very neat. We are extremely pleased with their work. They had to remove turf and trench in two areas. At completion, you can barely see where the work took place! Everything looks neat and clean again! Now all of our toilets, showers and sinks are working again!

I had just moved in my house, and within a few days the toilets backed up and there was something wrong with the plumbing. When I called Beach, I spoke with a very helpful lady who ask the right questions to get to the bottom of my problems. She put in the order for service, and I had a technician at my house in about two hours from my car. My problem was fixed quickly and efficiently, and the technician explained every step that he took to resolve the problem. Absolutely a great company.

Matt came out and gave a quote to replace our water heater. They are not the cheapest but are in a reasonable range. Matt did a great job explaining options, and while many of the others were just trying to low ball a price to get in the door, I learned that their prices would get nickled and dimed up close to what Matt's price was from the start. Matt was up front and honest and pricing was all in.

Install was great and he's a super nice guy, I'd highly recommend.

Disillusioned.

I don't know what happened since my two 5-star experiences in 2016. I really don't because I swore by their professionalism, integrity and work.

I have moved since writing those reviews but they were always going to be my go to. It feels good when you find that.

So I stopped having hot water and I called them...

Do They Want Business?

...the person who answered the phone seemed disinterested. I explained that I am no longer in Long Beach now but moved to Orange County and they automatically assumed I was not in their service area, let me know and hung up. I had to call them back and ask well, you have an office in Cypress. I live in Cypress. Do you not service the city your office is in? The lady ignored the question, did not apologize and bluntly asked what I needed. She booked me for a time slot the next day, for which the plumber was late. A different lady from the office called to give me that update so I will say that was the highlight of the WHOLE experience.

So the office is dissociated with the notion of doing actual business. But how about the appointment?

They Do Want The Business But Will Charge 2-3 Times the Market Rate for the Same Service

So in the field I got to meet a plumber who probably had a long day but was very professional about it. He was informative and made a quick assessment about my pilot light being out. The pilot light couldn't come on and so he gave me a few options, notably to replace the heater. He gave me two estimates--one at $3K and one at $6K--from the local office.

Now, the most expensive water heater at my local Home Depot is $1.1K so you're telling me that labor is anywhere from $2.9K-$4.9K? That's a lot for labor (and profit). Mind you, this is for a single family home.

This was disappointing considering the last two times I worked with them, I respected their integrity and fairness. This was anything but.

So I got a second opinion. Another local plumber. Who was able to turn on the pilot light. For $135 (on a holiday). Hmmm. $135 sounds a lot better than $3K or $6K. Don't get me wrong, this plumber also suggested that a new water heater may be needed in the future. Their estimate? $1.7K. They could have presented that as the only option too.

I can do math. $1.7K is a lot better than $3K or $6K.

It's been over a week and half, and the $135 job is doing just fine for me. But hey, if I need it, I can go to my new plumber.

SUMMARY: What I really loved most about Beach Plumbing is gone. Professionalism. Integrity. Fair pricing. I'm not saying they don't do great work. I'll be fair and assume it still is top notch. However, if you value those first 3 qualities be forewarned. I'm glad I saved almost $2K by not going with them.

Adan at Beach Plumbing provided very prompt and professional service. I called lay on a Wednesday afternoon and Beach made an appointment with me for 9:00am Friday morning. Adan called first thing in the morning to verify the appointment and arrived at my home 20 minutes later on time. He diagnosed the issue, then replaced hose Bibb and repaired the original pipe leaving me with a better install than the original. I am very pleased with Beach Plumbing and I will be using them in the future.

My experience with this company was easy & effortless. From scheduling the appt. to meeting the tech. ,who showed up on schedule.
The young man who did the diagnostic service on my water heater was professional, informative, and an expert in his field. Within minutes, my hot water was back on. He made recommendations and gave me options. As a consumer, that was appreciated.

FIVE STARS PLUS! Very lucky I found Beach Plumbing. We had an existing sump pump that was improperly installed years ago---it was an aweful pill to swallow because I knew that this need a major overhaul.

This job required a land survey, permits, concrete coring and demo. Each step was thought out and and executed with the best of results by BP. I had full confidence in their work becuase of how thoughtful they were in planing each stage. Thank you Chad and Fabian!!!!

Also a big achknowlegement of gratitude to Kody and Lui, courteous and very through. I never had to worry about them, because they always made the choice to do the best job possible---NO SHORT CUTS.

Beach plumbing came out same day to inspect a kitchen sink (no hot water), a bathroom sink (no cold water), and a humming/vibration noise coming from our water heater.

The first two were valve issues and pretty straight forward. We now have hot/cold water!

The water heater was inspected and they informed us of a flaw inside the water heater (which happens). Because our water heater is fairly new (4 years old) they suggested we contact the manufacturer to see if it was still under warranty. They left us with options and mentioned they can do it themselves or whomever else we decide on.

I appreciate Beach Plumbing didn't try to upsell or pressure us to start work instantly. Instead, they respected our decision and let us know they are available either way. Honest inspection and feedback - the entire visit was ~20 mins. Will be reaching out again for any future work!

Beach plumbing performed a complete re-pipe under my house. Beach plumbing met and exceeded my expectations. Pricing is fair and came well under the previous bid from another company for the same job. The plumbing techs were professional, friendly, and helpful. The plumbers have great workmanship and take pride in their work. Below is a detailed description of the job
I have a house that had all cast iron drain lines. I had one estimate to replace my laundry and kitchen drains to the main. The plumber from the first company went under the house and gave me an estimate on exactly what I asked for. I called Beach Plumbing for a second estimate. Matthew, their service tech, came out same day, went under house to look at what I asked for plus to look for any other issues while he was down there. Matthew found an additional leak coming from my bathroom sink. I verified the leak by opening the drywall under my sink and finding a corroded T with holes all around it. After seeing that I asked for two separate estimates, one for the three issues I knew about and one for a complete drain re-pipe. I decided to go with the whole house drain re-pipe.
With the whole house drain re-pipe, all drain lines and main line that were under the house were replaced and any walls that were opened up were patched. The job was scheduled to take 3 days, but lucky for me they added two more plumbers from a rescheduled job to work on my house. All of the drain line plumbing was completed and in service at the end of the first day. The second day all of the patchwork was completed. Matthew frequently checked the job progress and took pictures of the new plumbing under the house and the completed patchwork. Matthew and the other technicians frequently asked if I was satisfied with how the job was going. Again I'll say that I am completely happy and satisfied with the outcome of this job.

Our master shower drain was running slow. Turned out to be here that was clogging up the drain. No drain protector fitted so we are buying one from Amazon. They were here for less than 15 minutes and cleared the blockage in just a few minutes.

They told me never to use a product call Drano, sold by both Home Depot and Lowe's. It doesn't clear the drain despite what it says on the canister, and it is bad for the drain pipes themselves.

Our drains was clogged up so we called Beach Plumbing and their technician Edwin found that it was clogged up with shrimp skin. The next day another technician name Kody came and found our main pipe made of iron cast all cracked up. So we decided to replace all the pipes with new plastic pipes. We also got a quote from another plumber that gave us a cheaper quote, but we decided to hire Beach plumbing business instead because we trusted their 5 star reviews on Yelp. Robert and Dion was the one who came and did most of the work. After all the pipes was replaced, a day or two later when I went to use the dryer I started smelling gas leak. I immediately shut off the gas valve and called Beach Plumbing. Their guy Adan came and fixed the leak. Turns out Robert or Dion didn't tighten the gas line tight enough. I understand it was a big job so a mistake like this can happen, but our house could've burned down if I hadn't noticed the leak. Furthermore, the wall patcher was suppose to come the day after the pipes installation but nobody came. So I had to call the office and turns out they had a scheduling problem. So they decided to schedule the wall patcher the following week. There was also still a leak in our main shower drain. Edwin couldn't fix it so Kody and Rene had to get come get it done. After that was done the drain strainer plate in our shower was all bent up, so I told Edwin and he says he would change it. After he changed it, I noticed now it's missing a screw. The service I received was highly disappointing and really put a bad taste in my mouth. First the gas leak, then things not being done on schedule, and the whole main shower drain situation left me losing a lot of sleep and I lost days of work. I had to call off work multiple days so that someone would be home to greet the technician, but then either nobody shows up or they show up late. The whole experience was frustrating. They've lost 2 stars from me. Not sure if I want to recommend Beach Plumbing to friends and family anymore.

I have given Beach Plumbing (5). If I could give (10) I would. And that's because of a young man named Matthew Estrada. Amazing young man who listens. I mean he really listened to our needs. He came in handled our project from beginning to end. We had CASE 3000 Wall toilet and decided on floor toilet. Matthew was there step by step. Let me just tell you how happy I am to have found them on Yelp :)

My family went thru 3 plumbers and all three of them failed miserably. 1st plumber came and couldn't figure out where the source of the water damage came from and recommended my family to get a leak specialist. 2nd plumber (leak specialist) came and drilled bunch of holes in the wall and couldn't find the leak. 3rd plumber came recommended by the 2nd plumber sort of figured the problem out but couldn't fix it. My dad is handicapped and desperately needed the downstairs bathroom to work. So they finally came to me to find them the right help. So glad I have Yelp :)

After reviewing their stellar reviews (all 5 stars) figured I couldn't go wrong using them, I gave them a call. The gentleman answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. After I told him my situation, he was able to schedule an appointment for me same day. It was around 2pm when I called. Their prices are listed on their website and the guy quoted me the same over the phone.

Rene the senior technician came with Marco and figured out the problem within 15 - 20 min. He recommended a fix that the other plumber recommended against. I was worried for a minute and then problem fixed. It was a huge chunk of hair that was clogging the pipe up which was causing the water to come back up from the sink and flooding the areas around. They charged $165 for the work done (which was what I was quoted). But initially I asked for the $475 hydrojet package and Rene said that it shouldn't be done inside the house in case of flooding. What a honest guy! Instead of upselling, he saved me $$$

I will def recommend this company to my friends and family :)

Called to get an estimate on a hot water heater replacement for tankless and tank. They came out looked at my situation and even commented how nice my existing one was considering it was 21 years old it was in great working order. They explained the features of tankless and the maintenance which sounds like a headache so I opted to stick with a tank heater which was less than half the price installed as tankless.

I asked when they could do the job and they said well we have a couple hours free now we can do it now. So they started to drain the old one and went off to get the new one and came back and installed it all in under a couple hours from estimate to install. They got it all up to code too since codes had changed in 21 years. Great work clean and quick.

I spoke to them about us wanting to replace a water heater. There's no diagnostic involved but the person told me they have a hard rule to send some over to talk to me. Given the current situation with the pandemic and high gas prices, I don't know why they purposely make it more difficult. I already know when the person shows up, he will try to sell me things and then schedule another appointment to install.

When I spoke to them, I was hoping the dispatcher can transfer me to a manager because we have an urgent issue and get a straightforward quote. instead, she gave me this mean girl attitude and basically expressed they would not have a problem even if I left a bad review. I had no plan to write one honestly but since this business really doesn't care, i guess here it is.

I want to note that I was not rude. I was just expressing concerns about an urgent issue because our tank was literally spraying water like a broken water hydrant. we needed a tank replaced and we were ready to hire. The business has no sense of urgency, did not care and she never ever offered to have me speak to any manager. It was not an option. The owner, below, clearly took the dispatchers side of the story and went out of his way to invalidate a customer's experience and making me look like a horrible human being all because I left you a bad review? His response is classic bully behavior.

If you hire this business and encounter a problem, do you think you can even trust this owner? This man is on attack mode. I just got the impression that your team doesn't care and my intuition was correct. Now they are accusing me for being rude and make excuses for their sales tactic. In conclusion, thank you so much for not taking my business, not that I was going to hire you anyways. . By the way, we literally just hired a reputable licensed company (with amazing reviews) to install a water heater right after my negative interaction with this company. Quote was straightforward, no sales pitch and they are coming at 9am tomorrow.

My name is Ransford Mitchell and I'd like to share my beach plumbing story with any and all.

This is the second time I've had the opportunity to do business with Beach plumbing in the past 5 weeks. We are new to the area, however being a retired contractor myself I know a good small business when I see one. My first experience with Beach plumbing I knew I had found a plumbing company I could count on. As we are new to the area I took a shot and call Beach plumbing and I wasn't disappointed. I was speaking to the owner and after the business talk about my leaking toilet upstairs the owner took some time to assure me that we would love the area.

So now I needed and tankless water heater and the I was bid in my laundry replaced. The quote was good and the worker Dion and the work was better.
We enjoyed having the tech in our home. This work was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Beach plumbing and Dion.

We had a bad experience with a company who remodeled our restroom (very unprofessional) and they did not communicate well with the plumbers and created a bunch of mistakes. Chad very professionally took care of things and ignored their unprofessional ways and just did his job with dignity and pride. After discovering that I had a gas leak on a Friday afternoon, I called Beach Plumbing and Edwin came out in less than an hour. He figured out where the problem was and got everything set up to start repairs on Monday morning. It was a 2 1/2 day job and everyone that worked the job provided excellent work and were a pleasure to deal with. Dion, Robert, and Andy did most of the work and Cody came by on the final day to make sure everything was getting wrapped up as required. And I have to provide and special shout out to Jose who came in and patched up the holes in the drywall and stucco. His drywall patches were so good I didn't even need to sand them prior to painting. The guy is a master!!
I highly recommend these guys, they were a pleasure to deal with while dealing with a tough situation

I called Beach Plumbing for a slow shower drain, the operator answered the phone right away and was able to schedule me in for early morning the next day. My service person was Matthew he arrived on time and was wearing a face mask and shoe booties which I appreciated a lot. I was very impressed with Matthews courteousness and plumbing expertise. He setup his work area to make sure any mess would be contained within his work space. He did quick work of the slow drain and cleaned up everything as if he had not even been there. We bought a 100 year old home that was in disrepair and needed to repipe our entire home. After interviewing many plumbers, we decided to work with Beach plumbing as they were clearly the best candidates. We also decided to get a new tankless water heater and new water filtration system with them as well.

Their owner Chad was of great help during the repipe, overseeing the project, and answering a lot of questions asked by my family. Chad was very professional and really cares about his company's reputation. Edwin, their lead manager, also did an amazing job assessing our challenges and organizing project from inspection and contract and to follow up. He always answered my phone calls and house calls promptly, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Chad and Edwin went the extra mile to keep us happy and keep things on schedule.
Chad the owner also hires great people and I could tell that he cared a lot about his employees. They were a stellar team including the managers, supervisors and technicians to every employee I came across. The front line team was polite, efficient, great at communicating with our family, cleaned up after themselves and keep the mess to a minimum. They started first thing in the morning by covering up all our hardwood floors, hanging plastic to protect areas they wouldn't be working in, and covering up everything else. They found ways to work around areas that couldn't be disturbed, like counters, backsplash in the kitchen, and tile in bathroom showers and exterior stucco. They also did a great job of patching the walls when they were done.

We are also very happy with the results of their work nine months later as we haven't had any problems, and are enjoying our new improved water flow, tankless water heater and filtered water. It was worth every penny!!! The Beach Plumbing team are my plumbers for life!!!!

Adan and Matthew were great! Our water heater went out on a Saturday and I called our home warranty to get an expedited service. I was told they could get me up and running in a week. I then called beach plumbing the owner Chad picked up the call and I was able to book a service call for Monday morning. Matthew helped us find the best water heater for our house and Adan did the installed. They made sure we had hot water by the end of the day working til almost 8pm in order to do so. Adan came back today to finish and clean up. Thank you guys so much for getting us up and running with our new tankless system. Awesome team at Beach Plumbing! From my very first contact with them I have not been disappointed. I had a complete re-pipe and re-drain of my home last year. I had many, many questions on the re-pipe/re-drain. Chad was super helpful in taking the time to answer my questions and any concerns I had. He was honest, provided different options and not once did I feel pressured one way or another and that was very refreshing.

Kody was the lead technician and he was very helpful the entire time. He kept me updated on the progress of the work and answered any questions I had along the way. Kody and all the other technicians wore masks, were always respectful and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure the work was completed on time and even contacted the City when they noticed an issue with the water meter!

Fast forward a year. Last week I had a sewer backup late one evening. I contacted Beach Plumbing and Chad had a technician out first thing the next morning! A day later they were back to do a sewer repair. I was glad to have Kody again on this project! He walked me through the process and kept me abreast of any issues and proposed solutions. When he and the other technician Robert were done, they did a good job cleaning up and you couldn't even tell they had dug up a 5 foot deep trench in my yard!

What others have said about the predatory rate is absolutely true. They quoted me $895 to replace the garbage disposal. When I asked them why it costs so much, they tell me that it is because they are professionals. Then I asked them how much the parts cost. The technician says I don't know. He is either lying or this professional quoted me a price without knowing the cost of the garbage disposal. Don't call them ever.

In response to your comment: You still have not answered my question how your plumber can possibly not know the price of the garbage disposal he is trying to sell me. Did you tell them to refuse to provide that information after the predatory quote?

Also, my tenant sent me a picture of the garbage disposal. It is clearly 1/3 HP. Why are you trying to sell me a $895 1 HP garbage disposal when all I needed was a 1/3 HP one. Is that what you do to your customers? Upsell them something they don't need? Also, I don't mind you sharing the call, hopefully with fellow yelp readers as well so they can find out exactly what they are getting into when they call you.

When we returned from our summer vacation in Yellowstone, little did we know that we brought back Old Faithful with us as a souvenir.

Within a month, our private geyser started erupting regularly in the morning, and our neighbors weren't too happy about this unnatural phenomenon. Water was shooting straight out of our concrete backyard!

We had to scramble to find a plumber Monday morning, and Richard was the first one to respond to our call for help. Harry's Plumbing got back to us half an hour too late.

They arrived promptly and got to work right away. Despite three decades of experience, having a spontaneous private backyard geyser proves to be an uncommon occurrence. It took some detective work to realize that a previous owner decided to bury an ACTIVE network of sprinkler system UNDER the concrete slabs in our backyard. That's right, the sprinkler system continued to work under the concrete for years. Only now do we have a geyser formation. I guess geological features take time to mature.

Kevin quickly isolated to source of the water and capped the entire system, not only shutting off the controlling timer, but sealed the pipe so our geyser will not erupt again.

Richard was on a flight to visit his family on the last day, but he stayed to the end to make sure the job was done right. Kudos to this team of diligent professionals.

We hired Beach Plumbing to install a tankless water heater. Everyone from Beach was highly professional and focused on finishing the job while providing great customer service. Matt came out to look at the job and provide a competitive estimate. Aiden, Greg and the rest of the crew completed the job in two days. A bit longer than planned, but I attribute that to very tight workspace under the house. They also respected that we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and took steps to avoid any potential damage to the new floors and painted walls. Kody came out to make sure the WiFi control was working well and all of the final details of the job were finished properly, including stucco repair. We couldn't ask for more from the crew. And, we're very happy with our new Navien tankless water heater. When recirculating, hot water is just a few seconds away, and the unit with internal pump is very quiet. Great recommendation and an excellent project.

Hired them to hydrojet my storm drains. We were having mosquito issues and I wanted it taken care of, so I went with them. I will say they were able to come out the same day for the estimate and then also do the job that day, which is why I went with them. However, I feel like I should have gotten more estimates. They seem to be far more expensive than others - $1200 to jet a few backyard drains. They broke one drain cover, and said they'd bring a replacement that night. It took a week of me calling them to get them to come back and drop it off, and they didn't offer to install it even though they broke it. The guy left his shovel here, and took a very long time to do the closing paperwork. I almost missed my daughter's bedtime waiting for him to prep the finishing paperwork in the truck. The amount of documentation they make you sign is INSANE. Now I have to find someone to install the storm drain they broke. I feel like I should have at least gotten a discount if not an install of that one cover. All in all, it feels like a speedy upsell type of place. Will not use again.

Edwin from Beach plumbling is the best! He worked on my plumbling once removing an upstairs master shower old and dysfunctional shower unit and repiped to add new fixtures. Then I had another leak which a plumber incorrectly diagnosed and caused unnecessary dry wall damage. Edwin was able to diagnose correctly and showed me it was the dishwasher underneath that was causing leak down to my garage. Edwin knows his plumbling and I would highly recommend him!

Edwin came out the day before to provide an estimate for having a shower handle valve replaced. He gave a verbal estimate of $1600 but when he had me sign the contract, none of the specifics or the price was showing. When after signing I realized that and asked to see what I had signed, he said it's gone, stating he couldn't show me. In future I advise them to show the details and price BEFORE asking for a signed commitment, This issue became even more clear when, after service and payment, the receipt showed a price of $1875! With a discount of $187 on a 1-year warranty--does that mean I don't get a one year warranty, or WHAT? The total I paid was $1688. I was given no explanations and no recourse for the differing amounts or the discounted warranty.

Then, when the actual repairman came, the day after Edwin, the first thing he said was, Where's the bathroom? Not Where's the shower? or Where's the repair to be done? We thought he needed to USE the bathroom; I mean, the guy didn't even say hello. We thought he was desperate to go! (We also thought Edwin would have told him the shower was in an indoor spa room, not in a bathroom at all.)

He had taken the wrong shower handle apart before we realized what he was doing. Now I wonder if that extra $88 we were charged covered his mistake.

At the very least, this company obviously has a serious communications problem. That said, their stucco patch guys did a GREAT job--wordlessly.

Called to get a quote for a new tankless install. Gave basic rough quote over the phone but insisted on onsite quote to be accurate. Understandable.

Once onsite they wouldn't give me an accurate quote saying, prices change if I was planning to do a job a month out. Then the price started to shift as I asked more questions. Asked for a cost breakdown and he refused saying if the job cost lower than they bid then they didn't want to charge extra if they had to do extra work. How about you charge a fair price and then charge me for the extra work that needs to be done if that work actually needs to be done rather than a high price.

Charge what the job is worth and give cost breakdowns. Everyone else is doing it.

Beach plumbing was responsive, communicated effectively, professional, and did their work thoroughly. We had Kody as our main contact, and he made the whole process of replacing our main line (a very big job bc we live on a hill with pin hole copper pipes that went underneath our neighbor's house) seem seamless. We replaced the copper pipes with PEX, and re-routed our entire long main line of pipes. He coordinated well with his people, dig through rocky dirt, cut through long driveway of asphalt, dig to at least 12 inches deep, and hot patch the asphalt back. He even helped to fix an existing irrigation pipe that was installed backwards (backflow before the pressure regulator which caused a leak). Kody cares about his people and takes the time to explain why he's doing things a certain way. He takes the time to educate you without making you feel dumb. After all is done, his crew cleaned up nicely by spraying down our driveway and getting rid of all the dirt. Overall, we are very satisfied with Beach Plumbing and glad we went with them. They even have a 20 year warranty on it! On a job this big, we needed reliable people to do the job right and we're glad we found Beach Plumbing. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We had intermittent flooding in our master bathroom and guest bathroom during the first two years that we lived in our home. Even after we shelled out quite a bit of money to multiple plumbers to try to diagnose/fix the issue, we still ended up with flooding. During a desperate search for a qualified and knowledgeable plumbing company that could actually fix our issue, I came across Beach Plumbing. I requested quotes from other companies, but ultimately moved forward with Beach Plumbing. Renee and his team visited our property and found extensive root damage to our main line. We decided to move forward with a ground cleanout installation, hydro jetting of the main line to clear a massive amount of roots and relined the damaged pipes. Renee was professional, punctual, the work was completed quickly and Beach Plumbing was great to work with overall.

This was a necessary investment that we needed before the pipes obliterated completely. We have since called Renee back for a separate plumbing issue and we will continue to use Beach Plumbing.

Found them on Yelp, and got someone to come out immediately. Rene arrived early and ready to help! Friendly, all-smiles and most importantly, professional. Showed him my broken hose bibb, and he replaced it efficiently. What I liked was his attention to detail and the commentary as he worked, sort of tutoring me on the repair and pipe works. Appreciated! He then kindly accepted to look at a stuck Oil of Olay cap in my master bath sink drain (if you know this bottle, you know that the cap can roll and fit itself perfectly and astonishingly). I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Beach Plumbing. I had requested quotes from several companies and had great difficulty getting them from a few. Beach quoted next day, at a competitive price. AD arrived wearing a mask, even for an outside repair. There was difficulty with having to get the city to shut off the water at the main, but AD took care of everything. He was finished in the expected time, came in to test all of the faucets to be sure everything was in working order. Very thorough and respectful. I've found my go to plumber.

As a long-distance landlord, they made addressing our slab leak and eventual PEX repipe as painless as it could have possibly been. Beach plumbing just left our house. They added a washer and dryer hookups up stairs and ran hot and cold water lines as well as a gas line and vent. A roughy two days but Renee and his guys came through. There were a few unforeseen mishaps but they quickly adapted and overcame the situation. ***WARNING! PREDATORY RATE**** I called for a quote because the gas supply line's bolt was stuck on gas valve. Two guys showed up and immediately recommended to replace the gas valve. They did not try to remove the bolt. They quoted me $475 for less than an hour job. The plumber admitted that it should take less than an hour.. maybe less than 30 mins. Average plumber labor rate in California is $50 to $100, the material (valve) is $15, Overhead is $75. The job should be around $200. After I reasoned with them, they reduced the price to $375. RIDICULOUS!

The next day, Chris from Mr. Rooter came, removed the stuck bolt, supplied the gas line converter, hooked the gas supply line to my new gas range. I was charged $120 including materials.

I am glad I only spent $120 instead of $475. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.

Nothing is worse than getting up in the morning taking your shower and hearing the toilet bubbling... especially on a Monday! With the kids at home learning not having any toilets working is a potential disaster.
I called Beach Plumbing and Luis was at my house within an hour!
Luis was friendly and fixed the problem quickly.

My only issues are that I thought the price for what was done was very high and i did not like the tech trying to upsell me to a water filtration system for reducing hard water. Beach Plumbing recently finished a complete repiping of our home, converting from 50 year old galvanized pipe to PEX, along with replacing . I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the company from the owners to every employee I met! Chad took the time to answer all my questions before, during, and after the job. And I had a lot of questions!

This type of a repipe means wall space needs to be cleared so they can access plumbing which means a lot of things need to be moved and later moved back. Most of that needs to be done by the homeowner. I should have done a little better job - when they have to break out a section of a wall you want to think about anything that could be disturbed on the other side.

They started first thing in the morning by covering up all our hardwood floors, hanging plastic to protect areas they wouldn't be working in, and covering up everything else. They also had to move quite a few objects from walls that I hadn't thought to remove. Then came demo time. They found ways to work around areas that couldn't be disturbed, like granite counters and backsplash in the kitchen, and tile in bathroom showers. By about 5pm both the hold and cold water was back on.

The next morning they were back at, filling all the holes in the walls both inside and outside. At the same time they installed a couple new faucets and repaired a broken drain they found and cleared at drain that had been slow for the last couple months.

All in all I couldn't have been more pleased by this awesome company!

When they were all done everything was nicely cleaned and put away.

I can now see why Beach Plumbing has such a high rating on Yelp. They are fantastic. We needed to have our main water supply line replaced, but it was a big job. We tried to get estimates from several plumbing companies, but they either neglected to call us back, were no shows or they came and never bothered to give us an estimate. We did manage to get one other real estimate, but they wanted to run some of the line above ground. In contrast, Beach Plumbing never missed a step. They came out the same day we called to do the estimate and spent a lot of time working to make sure the price would be accurate. We waited a few days hoping to hear from a couple of other companies, but no luck. We called Beach Plumbing back almost a week after they were at our house, but they were very pleasant and accommodating about when we wanted the work done. The job was not easy, and did not go smoothly because of some large tree roots, but they stayed professional and did excellent work. Even though the job took almost twice as long as they expected, we were shocked and happy to be told that the price remained the same as the original estimate. I cannot recommend Beach Plumbing highly enough.

Here are the best plumbers you will come across in terms of quality and service! My water tank burst on Thursday and I thought it was the right time to switch to a tankless. They came for a survey on Friday and installed the new tankless on Monday. They were 30%-40% less than the other plumbers I called and did a clean job. I highly recommend them.

I had low water pressure throughout the home and had no idea why. Everything came to mind, is it a slab leak, pinhole leak at a pipe and etc. I was so stressed. Submitted a quote request on Yelp and 4 companies came up. I read the reviews for each company and decided on Beach Plumbing. They responded and explained they could come out to inspect the issue, no charge unless they had to actually take something apart or open (then there might be a fee). That was my take on it. It's good that they said that so I would know ahead.

They gave me a time frame between 9 am - 11 am for the next day, which was today. I received a phone call at 9 am that they would arrive about 25 minutes. Chad the owner, showed up. I explained the situation to him and he already knew the problem. Someone had turned the water valve horizontal which reduced the water pressure. He turned it parallel down and the water pressure went back to normal. Oh my gosh, that was the reason, ugh! If I ever catch the person who did it, Godzilla is coming out. He didn't charge me for that. But since he was here, I had him flush the water heater tank. He tightened the spigot, I think that's what it's called and he saw that water was still coming out. He told me to watch it for a couple of days to see if it's still leaking. If it does, give his office a call. I learned a lot from talking with Chad. He's very friendly, honest and professional.

I would definitely use Beach Plumbing again but I hope that I won't need to contact them. When Chad left he said have a good day and hopefully you won't see me again.

One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor so far.

When my new home's toilet stopped flushing and the bathtub started to spew out sewage, it was a disaster. We called our home warranty people and they didn't send someone for two days and when their plumber showed up, an hour late and with no tools in hand, he decided that because he didn't see a washout point for our bathroom, the only thing left to do was install one out-of-pocket for $1600. He was at the house a total of 5 minutes. We called back our warranty people in a rage and they wouldn't send someone else for another 2 days. WE DID NOT HAVE A PROPERLY WORKING BATHROOM FOR ALMOST 6 DAYS. And I have a baby!

Um, no.

Because of Yelp, I decided to call Beach Plumbing and from the very start, I had a good feeling about them. Chad answered the phone after hours and even when I wasn't sure what was happening with our warranty initially, he answered all of my questions and was so helpful. The second time I called back, he answered more questions and made sure they sent someone out ASAP. The next morning he showed up with three guys (Fabian, Kevin, and Chipmunk) and I felt relief. Within 2 minutes, Fabian was able to locate a washout point that the other guy didn't even bother to check for. Within 30 minutes, lots of roots and sludge were removed and my bathroom was back in action. And it cost me $200, not $1600.

Yay! So happy to have found such a trustworthy company. I will definitely call them for all my future plumbing needs (I hope there's not a lot).

Kody and Kelvin helped us with building a new service line running from the meter to our home due to a pipe leak. I have a back house that needed an entire overhaul of what I call a mini septic system, which is not the real term but similar to that. They came over and knew exactly what needed to be done! I really appreciated their expertise since I know nothing about plumbing except the basics. I never felt that they tried to sell me on anything that wasn't needed. I had a very clogged up kitchen sink. I called Beach Plumbing based upon their very good Yelp reviews. The person who answered the phone was very polite and helpful and arranged to get someone out the same day. Michael, the technician, called me and told me he had finished his previous stop early and asked if he could come by sooner, which worked out perfectly for me. He took care of the problem in a timely manner, and explained to me what was causing the problem. Without hard selling me, he suggested a change in the plumbing that would make it easier to service and would protect the house in case of an overflow. 100% satisfied with their work and customer care.

I scheduled an appointment with a technician named Luis. He never showed & never called. I called Beach & inquired. They said Luis had marked the job completed. I then found out Luis had gone to the wrong address. They said he would call me & reconfirm my address (corner bldg, impossible to miss). I never heard from him, so I asked if they could send another plumber (technician). They called me back 20 min later saying they couldn't help me today. This is neither a reliable, nor professional company.

Our house in Long Beach has original pipes from the 1940s. We've had some issues but ended up recently getting a pretty severe clog in the pipes. We had another service come out that tried to snake it unsuccessfully and then quoted us $1000 to replace the pipe. On a whim we called Beach Plumbing. Rene came out that day. He was friendly, honest, and quickly fixed the issue for a fraction of the previously quoted amount. We even had him quote us for an up coming project, as we'd be happy to use their services again!

have not used them personally but they did take time out of their day to go over what would be needed and what their estimate(ball park) to redrain my house. I really thought they would be like other plumbers and say well I have to see the house so I can't give you ANY estimate at all. I understand that this is a ball park range, like is it 400 bucks? is it 4000 bucks? is it 40k? A ball park range, assuming its just a normal drain nothing crazy.. what would that be. and they were able to give me the answer, and also why it would be this, what it would entail. I was surprised that they were so thorough with their assessment and also they were able to communicate clearly, and actually picked up the phone. Too many times, have I had a hard time understanding the other person, or they didn't pick up their phone. would call them again if my plumber is busy :)

As we all know, we are under Shelter in Place due to the Corona Virus, and what could be a worse time with all family members home to have the mainline backup? I called Beach Plumbing and Chad, the owner was able to send someone to our house ASAP.

Brian showed up and was polite and tried his best to unplug it, but could not on his own (we have a 100-year-old Bungalow,) so he showed up with 4 more team members with a camera to see what the issue was the next morning at 8 am sharp. THANKFULLY they were able to fix the situation and we were able to use our bathrooms!

The team wore masks, were kind, clean and so professional and did not overcharge us. I HIGHLY recommend this company for emergencies and larger jobs.

Back in July we had a gas leak on a Sunday. Chad the owner himself came out to check it out and give us a quote. By Tuesday afternoon they had the entire building re piped, city inspected and gas turned on! We are so happy at not only how quick they came out to give us a quote but by how efficiently they got the job done. We've used them a few times since then for other Plumming needs and they have gone above and beyond every single time. They have always been on time, friendly and ready to work. We had to repipe our entire home and replace the 58 yr old kitchen / laundry drain pipe. The Technician (Kody) was very knowledgable and clearly explained our plumbling issues and the solution to us. I highly recommend Beach Plumbing! From the beginning both Fabian and Arnold were conscientious of my health and my pocketbook. During the free consult, they both wore masks and didn't try to sell me products or services I didn't need. They even inspected underneath my home to be sure we had copper plumbing all the way through! I am so glad we went with Beach Plumbing. Terrific service!

I have had plumbing issues ever since buying my home. I hired various companies and rented equipment myself monthly and yet the problems would reoccur. Finally, I hired Beach Jet and they determined that my main sewer line needed replacement. I opted for the trench less / liner option (see YouTube for what it is). They had it done quickly and professionally. 3 years later, I had a backup and Beach Jet came out and identified the problem, fixed it all under warranty! I'm sticking with these guys and you should also!

Our neighbor recommended Beach Plumbing and Jetting to us when we found a leak above our vent where the master bathroom shower is located. My husband gave them a call and got quoted to come out the same day between 2-4P.
After 4 PM had passed and still no signs of a plumber, the man called and left a vmail. I believe he got a call back 5 mins later. Rene (?) I didn't quite catch his name...apologized, he was running late from the last job he was at but was a few minutes away.
Nice guy, we showed him the issue, inspected the problem area. After a few testing, we found the issue. The good news was there wasn't a leak in the pipes, phew! The faucet from our shower wasn't sealed properly when we purchased the house so it left a gap. He sealed it up for us. I also had him look at our guest bathroom because the water from the tube wasn't draining fast. A simple clog from build-up lent and hair caused it. Gave him a wire hanger and he was able to unclog it.
After the deed was done, he told us he wasn't going to charge us since he was late and it was just some minor things. We were definitely grateful for that and at least tipped him.
Later that evening when we used the shower, the leak was back. Darn! It wasn't just the faucet that had a gap, the handle as well. We sealed it and now, no more leak. So glad it wasn't something serious but wished he caught that as well and sealed it. But hey, he didn't charge us.
My husband and I are both glad to know that we have a trusting, friendly plumbing company to call should we need one.

WOW if I could give this firm 10 stars I would. Where to start. First, I met the owner Rich, his son Chad, Rene and a new plumber they were training. All were extremely personable. Honestly if I could go have a beer and chat about life with Chad I would he was such an honest and down to earth guy, we chatted while he was doing some of the work. I say all this to say they take great pride in their work and are a family owned company that provides exceptional service. They don't just drop in make a mess and leave like some plumbers.

Now onto the services. I originally had them out for A stops that were required for a hook-up of a washer. When Rene arrived, he showed me another issue that my older house has with the shut off valves and Richard came out to consult as well. They helped to move the God awful heavy washer and replaced the A-Stops. On the first visit Rene installed the wrong size, but they quickly corrected the issue by coming back with no charge and no issues at all. They were super responsive. Everyone makes mistakes at times its how you recover and they were exceptional in that regard.

When they were here, they helped to detect a major leak that we had under our house (a slab leak) that was causing major issues for us but we had no idea was present. I am truly grateful for Richard and Rene detecting this for me. They even had a great referral for the detection company that found exactly where the leak was. Top notch all the way.

When they came out to complete the pipe repair, Chad and the new plumber Adonis (hope that is spelled correctly) who they were training were exceptional! I mean beyond exceptional. in addition to being super personal, they showed me every step what they were doing, what the repair was and exactly what the issues were. They communicated very clearly throughout the process. They finished up the job and to my astonishment they cleaned up all of the mud from the outside (it was raining when they did the work) and I was floored that they went above and beyond to restore everything to how it looked before the repair. WOW!

The pricing for the A stops was competitive and the pricing for the repair was more than fair in my opinion the work looked really involved and there was some additional issues that no one anticipated and they didn't charge me extra which I thought was super classy of them and was very grateful.

I don't give many five star reviews but they truly went above and beyond, the people were exceptional to the point where I wish I could befriend them and the work was bar none awesome. Do yourself a favor and try them. You won't be disappointed.

Another great experience with Richard and Beach Plumbing!

We realized our water heater was out on a Saturday afternoon, but Richard answered the call right away. Although the supply stores were closed for the weekend, Richard gave us a Monday morning appointment and arrived right at 6:30 a.m. (nice and early so I could have a hot shower on a cold morning) to install our new water heater.

The price is fair and the work is done quickly and neatly. As always, I sure hope I don't have another expensive plumbing disaster soon, but if I do, I'll definitely call Beach Plumbing!

I spoke with Scott on the phone today. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to fit me in his schedule when I needed.... So why a 5 star review do you ask? well let me explain..

I am the maintenance coordinator for a very large corporation in California and I deal with vendors on a daily basis so my expectations are pretty high. There are a ton of people to use and call so any time I don't like one, i just move on to the next. Beach Plumbing and Jetting has a large enough service area to service four of my centers and he will definitely be doing that when the need arise.

Today, i had a toilet stop flushing in my Downey location and he was nice enough to apologize up and down about being too busy to get out there in time and not only that, immediately gave me three companies that he trusted to do the work.. he didn't try to convince me to let him do it at a later date, he was concerned about MY needs more than anything else and did what he could to have that set up, even losing my business.

Scott was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable on the phone, asked the proper questions and allowed me to answer them without any type of interruption (rare nowadays) and allowed me to ask questions and answered them kindly. I am sure he is asked questions all day and was super patient with me.

Unfortunately this company couldn't fit me in today for my needs, but we will definitely be using them in the future and I look forward to that. Thank you Scott!

Needed to see if a leak outside the bathroom was major or minor. Justin and Michael came through. Michael did the crawl and verified no leak underneath (no burst pipes). Phew! Justin double-checked in the bathroom and verified needed to re-caulk around the tub and advised that the wall where water was seeping is spongy (water damaged). They were efficient, professional, and helpful. Cheers!

We had received a high water bill the past two months. The city re-read the meter and it was correct. On Saturday, we could hear the water gushing. I cut some small holes in the wall to try and find the leak. No luck. I knew I needed a professional and checked online for recommended local businesses.

I found Beach Plumbing & Jetting. I called at 1pm, explained the problem. I sent a pic and video of what I was able to discover about my problem. The crew arrived and immediately got to work. They found the leak under the house and set to work repairing it. Turns out I had a small pin hole in a pipe leading to a bathroom.

The Beach Plumbing & Jetting crew fixed the problem and were cleaned up by 5pm. Remember, this was in the afternoon/evening on a Saturday! The price I paid was exactly the price I was quoted. No mark ups, no extras...just a solid price for great work.

Beach Plumbing & Jetting took care of a problem that I would not have been able to solve on my own. They did a great job, they were fairly priced and the work crew was friendly, fast and very knowledgeable. This was easily the best plumbing experience I've had in my 20+ years living in Long Beach. I'm very happy to give them a 5-Star rating! They earned it!

Full Disclosure: I have not had the pleasure of Chad's services, but I wanted to tell my little story of my phone call with him just now...

I just hung up with Chad. I had called just prior, but my call wasn't going through. Chad saw that I was calling, so he called me right back. Big points for that!

While we were speaking, I knew that he was the kind of guy a person could trust. I know that sounds crazy since I've never had any personal experience with him, but I'm a very good judge of character and am usually right about that sort of thing.

I was calling to get confirmation about a bid from another plumber who I actually hired and is scheduled to arrive at my house within the hour! I would have canceled the plumber if Chad had compelling feedback of price gouging. We joked about a few things, and he told me that the price I got didn't seem to be out of bounds (I told him what was getting done). Clearly by saying that, he let go of an opportunity to try to take my business away, but that goes to the honesty I mentioned above.

It was so helpful to talk to Chad and get his honest opinion. I'm moving forward with my scheduled plumber, but I can guarantee that Beach Plumbing will be called upon in the future.

Very professional throughout the process. Cody was the technician that came to my house. He replaced a section of the sewer line that was leaking under the house. He also removed old galvanized pipes that the previous owner of the house left there after replacing with copper. I had been hearing a pipe knocking sound for 7 years, and Cody was able to finally fix that issue at a reasonable price. He also took photos afterwards and sent them with the invoice, making it easy for me to validate the work.

These guys were fantastic! They were on time, fast, honest, and super helpful. We had thought that we were going to have to spend over 2,000 dollars to install a sewer cleanout because thats what everyone else had quoted us. Richard and his guys came in, figured out the problem and fixed it all within an hour! We had hired other companies previously who never fixed the problem, charged us the same amount and spent the entire day trying to fix the problem, so I was so happy that Richard valued my time and didn't spend all day fixing the problem.

The problem with Yelp is they only allow you to rate a provider with 5 stars. Richard, his incredible crew and Beach Plumbing performed a miracle at my house.

He deserves a 10 star rating!

I called Richard yesterday and he was out in 2 hours to inspect and bid the job. To his credit and my bad memory of what the inspector said, I forgot to tell him there was a break at the end of the sewer pipe. Richard, to his credit, was a man of his word and he stuck to the original quote. This is a company I would highly recommend. He saved the day and now the sale of my house can go through on time.

But most importantly, he showed me each thing he did, told me why he was doing it. His choices and resources made a ruined sewer line better than new. The new owner will never have root breakage and he gets a 10 year guarantee.

Beach Plumbing was sooooo quick to respond to my inquiry and had a same day appointment available! We had a toilet leaking water from the tank. I reached out to Beach plumbing around 11 AM. I needed some professional plumber to check why my kitchen line with backing up. Calling Beach Plumbing Richard probably answered and took on the responsibility. He gave me a very clear-cut quote and explain what will be done. He showed up promptly did the work. He properly explain everything he was doing. He did not do any extra work that would have costed me additionally. He really professionally handled and explain what was causing the backup. He fix the problem. Richard and his assistant were professional and courteous. Upon completion of work he offered me a guarantee for his work. I will most definitely call him again if I need arises.

I would NEVER ever use Beach Plumbing and Jetting again. They are unreliable and unprofessional.

We set up an appointment for them to check out a house we were buying. We sent them the inspection report so they knew what kind of damage they were in for before coming over.

They were on time and ready to go, but that's where the good review ends. Before we got to the front gate Richard started telling me how problematic the house was and that we were going to be shelling out a lot of money. It's an old house and we knew that, but the way Richard spoke was unnecessary and not constructive at all.

After they inspected under the house, as Richard was telling me the basic problems, the seller came home and was upset because his agent had not properly relayed the information about our visit. We settled things in a few minutes and realized it was due to a misunderstanding. Then, my realtor realized that the plumbers had disappeared. We went out front to look for them and they were gone without saying anything to us!

I assumed they had to get to another job so I called Richard to make sure he had everything he needed. He picked up and immediately hung up when I said who it was. I called twice more and left a voicemail. Then I called the office where they told me that Richard felt unsafe working on this job because there was an altercation with the seller. I said some unkind words to the man on the phone and hung up (I was wrong in that).

The situation was never unsafe, the seller simply had questions about what we were doing. It was completely unprofessional for Richard to walk off a job in the middle of it without even speaking to me.

In addition to his unprofessional behavior, my husband reached back out to the company to request the report on the house since we were not going to have time to have another plumber come in. They said they would send it over to us and a week later we have heard nothing from them.

Do NOT use this company to check out a property you are buying.

My son had taken a bath around 8:30pm got him down for the night. I went to go shower and noticed the tub didn't drain. Called a couple plumbers one wanted $450 for the call out and a hour to two hour to arrive. I called Beach Plumbing they were there in less then 30mins, and with in a half hour they the sewer line cleared out from the tree roots blocking the line and all there equipment back on there truck for less then $300. Excellent job gentlemen.

I ended up messaging a few places regarding a bathtub in my house that was not draining properly. We've always had issues with this particular bathtub, but in the past, I would have my friends snake it a little for me and it would be semi-ok again. Of course, that wasn't a permanent solution, and this time, my friends recommended getting an actual plumber to come out and use their heavy duty tools to get the job done.

I messaged a few places on Yelp to get a quote and Richard was super quick and responsive. In addition, he gave me a straightforward price and even let me use the Yelp Check In for $20 off. My schedule was a bit busy since I am going out of town this weekend, but he managed to squeeze me in the next day.

Fabian came out during the timeframe we agreed on and was very friendly. He explained to me what he thought was the issue (basically, half-a$$ed work by whoever did the shower) and did the best he could given the circumstances. While my drain is not 100% cleared, since that's likely impossible unless we break open my entire tub/concrete to see the pipe, he was very upfront and cleared it as best he could. He did not try to upsell and convince me I HAD to completely redo my piping/bathtub and let me know it would be more for something down the line if I planned to keep the house long term or remodel. I greatly appreciated his honesty overall demeanor. Definitely would recommend Beach Plumbing!

Great experience with Beach Plumbing. Called in the morning and the team had a cancellation so was able to show up in less than 2 hrs from when I called. The team knew exactly how to adapt our gas line to work with our appliance, which we'd struggling with at Home Depot and Lowes trying to find the right connection. Team was done fixing and testing the gas line in just a few minutes. Based I this experience, I would recommend to friends/neighbors and use them again for larger tasks, thank you again Beach Plumbing!

We had a clogged kitchen sink and needed same day service so I contacted Beach Plumbing after reading their rave reviews. I spoke with Chad and he was very helpful and understood the urgency so they were able to fit us in within a couple of hours.

Chad and his Father, Richard were very thorough and were able to find the issues right away. Two other plumbing companies had been out to fix drainage issues in the past and they never bothered to explore the cause of our ongoing plumbing issues. They provided us with viable options and were willing to work with us on different pricing scenarios.

Fabián and his partner did an incredible job with such short notice!!

To start off, last night each time I would flush my toilette it would back up into my bath tub. The absolute worst thing that can happen if you only have one restroom (and if you just finished eating Taco Bell).
This morning I called Fabian and as soon as I was explaining to him what was going on he already knew what was happening. He came out and gave me a rundown of what it could be.
Roots had grown into my main line and was clogging it up. Unfortunately, I did not have a clean out installed in my house. He had to find the line and dig it up. He had to dig up about 3 1/2 ft of rock hard dirt to be able to get to the main line. Once he did he showed me how the roots had clogged the line and showed it to me again once he had cleared it. He installed the easy access clean out and patched up the hole of what he had dug up. All in a days work. Great job guys!!

My garbage disposal stopped working weeks ago, but I've been too busy to get around to scheduling a repair/replacement. I finally called Fabian, and I'm so glad I did. I thought I was so smart because I had stuck a hex key into the bottom and gotten the disposal to move, but it still wouldn't power up. Richard is awesome. We were unable to remove our old shower head and he did it in a second. He didn't even charge us for that. We wanted to remove the hose from our outside water faucet. It was too old and hence wouldn't come off. He said he would bring a new faucet and replace this one. He even gave us recommendations on what we should do with our bathtub and the other shower.

Beach Plumbing did a great job to replace some piping and an outdoor valve for the backyard hose. Fabian came out on a Saturday to Carson on short notice and repaired the problem.

I was able to text Fabian a picture of the leaking, he quickly made an assessment of what was needed, and then drove to my home to make the repairs.

Brian and Ryan did an incredible job of unclogging my kitchen drain. I had 3 other plumbing companies before them and they were all unsuccessful. First ran the snake once and as soon as he ran into the blockage said the pipe must be broken under the ground and need to replace the pipe. The second didn't even try to run a snake and gave me a huge estimate for replacing the pipe. Third took an hour running the snake into the unit across the wall, breaking the pipes over there and never even going in the direction of the clog

Brian and Ryan took their time, ran the snake multiple times until they were able to unclog the drain. Their prices were reasonable. Not too high not too low, but totally make sense for 2 men crew. In the end, I tried to tip them and they would not accept it. I will definitely use them again.

Had two different companies come out to clear a pipe at a rental property in Long Beach. The first said they couldn't do it, the second said the pipe would need to be replaced and it would cost $3,400 for a four foot length of pipe to be put in. I called Richard, he laughed at what they quoted, went out that night and had the line cleared within 30 minutes at a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what the other companies quoted.

If you need help in Long Beach, this is your guy. This was on Tuesday night, I called him to pay him at around 930PM and he said I'll call you tomorrow, don't worry about it. I just now realized I still haven't paid him, so that's evidently my first phone call tomorrow. Great guy, great service, great price.

Beach Plumbing and Jetting came to the rescue!
Richards team was called over (great price) to snake our 1930's sewer line. They came out, cleared the line very quickly, great service and very CLEAN!
But with our house nothing is ever easy and we had to call them back the next week (which was complimentary due to their warranty... great customer service).
Richard came out the second time with a camera and was able to locate several cracks in the clay pipe including a 90% blockage near the city connection by the street. (The camera footage was pretty amazing.)
Richard quoted us fair price and his team got to work. After several days the job ended up bigger than expected and but they forged ahead and his team came through like rock stars.
Richard is not a salesman, he's a good and honest man.

Richard Olsen from beach plumbing and jetting deserves 6 stars. Not only is he a personable; he is on time, honest, helpful, professional, fast and extremely competent. In and out in record time with no call backs. I have had a couple of major issues at my house. He repiped my 2500 sqf home in 1 day. He assessed and aided in repairs to my sewer lines and helped resolve problems with the city.

These guys were awesome. The day we moved into our home I noticed a gurgling sound coming from the pipe on the front of our house under our bushes. I had no idea what it was but anything involving water damage scares me so I called them and they came out an hour later. Guy was great on the phone (I forget his name, I'm sorry!) and had me run some faucets in the house to try and troubleshoot before they came out. They quoted me a decent price if they needed to snake the main drain and showed up right on time. Turns out it was a valve that needed to be turned off for our irrigation system, which they don't work on but they turned off the valve for me and explained what was going on. They were really nice about answering my questions and didn't even charge me for the short visit! I wish I had had cash to tip them but it was moving day and everything was hectic. I will definitely be calling them the next time we need a plumber in our new home. Really nice guys.

Beach plumbing did a great job replacing an old, damaged laundry drain pipe that was clogged. They first diagnosed the clog by augering it and camera scoping it. Then they improved it a bit by hydro jetting it with high pressure water. But it was clear that it was still restricted and I made the decision to replace it. That involved trenching my garage floor, replacing the damaged pipe, and then repairing the trench. All costs were disclosed up front and this business is entirely paperless (all electronic disclosures, bidding, and payment.) The only possible complaint was that time window commitments were met only 50% of the time, but delays were never more than a day. Employees wore masks, explained everything they were doing, and cleaned up after working each day. Any damaged drywall was rough repaired by a drywall specialist. The job site was thoroughly cleaned at the completion of the job.

About 8 years ago, I called Beach Plumbing for a very minor issue, and saved their contact information because of the surprisingly great service I received, despite it being such a minor job. I specifically called them this time because I knew that they were a large enough company and would have the manpower and know-how to do this huge job. Chad came out to give us a quote and surprisingly he was the same young guy that had come out all those years ago. Thankfully they scheduled us in for the very next morning. Brian kept us apprised of their start time, and worked with the Gas Company. Michael and Kevin were troopers!

The problem: The Gas Company found a gas leak on our side of the meter one evening and had to shut our gas off immediately. Our meter is at the back of the property line and we have a lot of concrete landscaping between the meter and our home. The fact that our home is on a slope made it even more complicated. To give an idea of the scale of this project, I'm talking about raised concrete retaining wall type planter beds, some as high as about 4 1/2 feet, and a run of about 40 feet to the house. They had to tunnel under the concrete beds (that we didn't know had concrete bottoms), and chop their way through three giant tree stumps in addition to other roots. It was a complicated job to say the least, and we didn't know what we were in for because we did not install the landscaping. I'm sure this job took longer than they anticipated, yet they did not change their price.

Their crew ended up working for 3 full days from morning until after dark each evening because they knew we were without hot water, heat, or the ability to use the stove.

It was even complicated after getting the line to the house as this home has been enlarged over the years. On the last evening, everyone was under the house. Richard the recently retired owner even came out (I think he loves the work, and he wanted to see what was going on). When they completed the job, Chad did a final walk-through with me to personally make sure everything was functioning.

Every one of their employees was great. Michael and Kevin were on the job all three days. Brian was there for two. I didn't think they would be able to walk after the first long day of hard labor, but they kept coming back. Their work ethic is second to none. Michael told me that he likes working for this company because they take pride in a job well done, and he likes doing things the right way. He also likes working for the owner(s) who are honest and good people who treat people right. I got the same feeling when I spoke with Richard (who told me he's referred to by the guys as the old man). Thankfully he instilled these values into his son, and his employees also.

This was evident in the smallest of things. In addition to replacing all the dirt, cleaning up, and taking tree stumps, artificial turf etc. to the dump, Michael and Kevin even went to the store and brought back bags of rocks to replace in the area in which they had dug. I told them it wasn't necessary, but they insisted that is what they do. When they were leaving they told me to call them if there was anything at all that was overlooked. (. . . I did call because I thought my sprinklers weren't working, and they promptly returned, but it was my mistake!! Sorry guys! Thanks for being so nice about it!)

They are licensed and insured and even provided a warranty of their work!

No other explanation as to why they were not available or if the service requested is not offered, etc - which is unprofessional in my opinion.

Had a kitchen sink back up on Christmas morning! Tried for several days to clear it myself. Took off the P Trap under the sink (that was not the problem). Put my own 1/4, 25 ' snake down the 2 ABS, under the sink. Could not clear it. Tried a water blaster attached to a hose. The water just backed up and shot up through the vent pipe in the roof.

I finally called Beach. Believe I spoke to Chad. He said they were very busy and could be out the next morning. I said OK. Less than 2 hours later, Rene and Kevin showed up. It took longer than we all thought it would (3 hours) to clear all the built up grease (not from us) that had collected In the kitchen line, over the years before we bought the house.

Amazing plumbers!!!

I had a clog in my shower. I first called Roto Rooter in the morning. They couldn't unclog the bath tub and then gave me a quote saying they would have to go under the house and remove part of the plumbing for an estimate of $1200!!!! Could you believe it????

I then called Fabian (I should have called him first!!!) and he said he would come out between 12 and 2 pm and gave me an initial estimate of $125 to unclog a bathtub. Fabian texted me a little before 12 and said he was on his way. He came here almost exactly at noon, removed the clog, and left -- all within 30 minutes!!!! Soooo happy!!! Price: the original estimate of $125!!!!!

If i could, I would give 6 stars!!!

My experience with Beach Plumbing was really great. Rene Encinas was the plumber that we worked with for our house.

He was really great when he came to assess what our needs were and to give us an estimate on all the repairs. He explained everything very well and made sure we addressed all our concerns.

When it came time for the repairs, they were very quick and thorough with all their work. They were mindful to keep things as clean as possible.

Fabian came out and saved the day by unclogging my main line. He returned my call the same day, we scheduled service for the next day and showed up when he said they would. I will definitely use Beach Plumbing and Jetting again in the future.

In the past I would rent a snake and take care of the main line myself, but this time I ran into a problem and couldn't get the snake through an area with a turn in the line buried under a small concrete pad.

Fabian used his camera to show me there was a Y connection with a cap where the cast iron line transitions to the clay, and the snake wasn't turning the corner but just running into the cap. With a little patience and his camera he and his partner were able to manipulate the snake around the bend and unclog the line.

Based on my set up, this Y is going to be a continual problem, but Fabian didn't try to sell me additional services. He told me exactly what I need to do to fix the problem for good, and I can do it myself.

I appreciated Fabian's honesty and attention to detail while helping me out. Again, I will definitely be calling Fabian and his team again when the need arises.

Appointment set for 8-10am to check a leak under my house. Fabian arrived at EXACTLY 8am!
He crawled under the house to assess the problem, determined it was the toilet. He called for help, Richard and Kevin arrived in less than 10 minutes. They told me that the toilet was the wrong size, bolts were too short, was not spaced properly, and should have been triple wax ringed. He explained what my options would be and how much it would cost.
They were all very professional, quick working and very informative, and reasonably priced.

The first time, we had blockage in our main sewage line--imagine how horrified we were to come home to our toilets overflowing at 6 p.m. on a Friday evening! We must have called every plumber on Yelp with 4+ stars, and Beach Plumbing was the only one that called us back with availability to come out within an hour that night. With some persistence, he was able to resolve the issue without expensive procedures like a using plumbing camera (though they do have those if needed), and we were able to go to bed that night with the piece of mind that toilet water wasn't all over the bathroom floors.

Happy with the results of last time, we recently had them come back to fix blockage in our kitchen sink/laundry. Within just a couple hours of calling them, Richard came out and fixed the problem in minutes. He was super friendly (which is especially appreciated when I've dealt with several condescending trade workers in the past), honest, and even gave us some advice for preventing problems in the future.

So, if you need a plumber, call them!

Fabian is the best, period. He came out to our house after I called freaking out after 5:00 p.m. on a Friday when our garbage disposal came undone and disgusting raw fish water (a whole raw fish filet that had expired may or may not have gone down the disposal...) exploded all over my kitchen. He was on his way home when I called, and immediately came out and fixed the issue. He even cleaned up the disgusting water and underneath the sink. Fantastic -- what a relief to find someone to come out to my house on short notice, on a Saturday, in the middle of this COVID-19 mess. The plumber Rene was clean, courteous, and did a great job. The cost was $310 to clear a pair of bathroom sink stuck drains (double the normal cost due to it being a Saturday), but they gave me that number over the phone when I called and I was happy to pay it. I could have saved a lot of money had I waited until Monday, so it was my choice to pay the extra. Highly recommended.

First and most important, let me say what a great person Richard (the owner of Beach Pluming and Jetting) is. He is a man with high integrity and cares for his customers and the quality of work performed.
I had the unfortunate experience with having slab leak in the middle of my dining room. Richard explained my options as far as fixing the leak, re-routing the damaged pipe, or re-piping. I opted for a more permanent fix which was to re-pipe the entire house.
His crew showed up on time and re-piped the house in one day. The next day another crew came to patch and texture the walls.
I hope no one has to go through the experience of having slab leak and all the damage it causes. But if it happens, I would highly recommend Beach Plumbing and Jetting to take care of it.

This was our first experience with Beach Plumbing and it will certainly not be our last (although I am not wishing any further plumbing issues upon us). Brian was really great. He called in advance to give me a heads up on his ETA. He was very personable and kind. We have tenants occupying the house and figured out there was a mix-up in time (tenants were told 10am, but was scheduled for 8am). Tenants are pretty difficult and would not let us in until 10am. Brian was understanding, flexible, and extremely patient. Beyond patient. Brian informed Beach Plumbing home base and told them the situation, then WAITED. Yes. He waited until 10am when the tenants opened the door and took care of business. He had another house to service at 11am, but worked it out so we didn't have to reschedule. Bottom line: excellent customer service, excellent services provided.

Update: I hired them again the same day lol. If you need a plumber you need to call these guys. After Fabian came out my 5 year old son thought it was cool to crash his bike into the pipe that attaches to our hose-- pipe cracks and the cement starts shooting water everywhere. Richard came right out and fixed it along with some other minor repairs in our bathroom.

We came home and our kitchen sink was full of greasy water. It was midnight and we were hauling water outside because water was leaking from the bottom. We tried everything first but no luck. We decided to call these awesome company at midnight (sorry for waking you up), but they said it would cost more (rightly so right? We are waking you up). We decided to wait and at 8am Greg showed up. Very nice and very professional. He told us that it's the nature of kitchen sinks that even if you're careful with not pouring grease down the build up happens over time (plus we live in an older home).
We also had a faucet that we decided to replace (yes we had a new one laying around, really). Greg did it and fixed our clogged sink of course. We received 5% from Yelp too.

Our dishwasher was not draining properly. I called on Thursday and they were able to come out on Friday (they apologized that there wasn't anything available the same day). They set up a window when they would be here. When the previous job to ours kept them delayed, they called to give an update.
Rene was very helpful. He checked out the situation. Based on what he saw, it was an appliance issue, not a plumbing issue. Rather than working on it and then charging us for something that would not really help, he checked first to see if it really was a plumbing issue. While they couldn't help us, it is not really their fault.
Every step was professional.
We have used them for all of our various plumbing issues. We will definitely continue to do so going forward.

Called Beach Pluming at 9:30am on a Saturday and they showed up by 11am to unclog our kitchen sink. We were given a window of 12-2pm but they got there much earlier.

These guys are simply THE BEST! Saturday night the main water line to my house broke right below the shut off valve, so water had to be turned off at the street, meaning no water for my whole house! On a Saturday night! Not only did Rene from Beach Plumbing actually come out that same night, he came back SUNDAY with his crew to get the replacement line started. When the break happened I figured I wouldn't have water for a week, but Beach Plumbing had the new line in (40 ft line) and working by Monday afternoon. This is my first review on any plumbing business and my husband found them on yelp based on reviews and stars and I'm glad I called them!!!
First, I called and spoke to Richard and explained my water heater was leaking and wanted him to come out for a quote. He arrived within the 30 minutes he said he would and replaced the hose for me right away with no cost at all! He tried to relight the water heater for me multiple times but bc there was water all over the heater and it was soaked, it wouldn't light. He then gave me options on how I can proceed from there and said he would come back and try to relight it again! Without me having to call for him to come back, he arrived, relit the water heater and it worked!! No replacement of a new water heater and save me money as well!!! I am beyond thrilled that there are still businesses out there that have good people and are honest ! Please check them out!

Quit getting hot water; assumed I needed new water heater or at least repair. My usual plumber was busy and couldn't get to me for 5 days. Called Beach Plumbing and they came out the next day. A very nice young man looked at it and indicated it MIGHT help to try and fix the thermocouple, but probably not. Indicated he thought I needed a new tank. Quoted me $2050 for a new tank including installation. (This was for a normal 40 gallon tank). I had done some research and knew this was WAY too much. (Approximately $600 for tank would put labor at $1400!). Thanked him and sent him on his way. Called my handyman who recommended a small, independent plumber. He said replacement and installation of new tank would be $1,000, if that was what I needed. However, after he looked at it, he said I did not even need a new tank, just needed a thermocouple, which he replaced for $200.
Will NEVER call Beach Plumbing again. They quoted DOUBLE amount for a project that didn't even need doing!

These guys were a God send to me last week when a pipe burst in my home and I needed an emergency contractor to come fix ASAP. I recently renovated my new home, built in 1976, and was completely screwed over as a first time home buyer with a contractor that did not do good work.
When I looked at yelp and saw the great reviews I had to go with my gut and ask for someone new to come have a look to see what was going on. Not only did they come out as quick as he could (luck would have it he was nearby and arrived within 10 minutes) but he was knowledgeable, encouraged me to learn what was happening so I could understand what the issues were, took incredible care of my home and tried his best to make sure he only opened up walls he absolutely had to based on his equipment that read where there was water moving.
What was even better is that he took a look around and pointed out things I needed to be aware of- not for a sale at all, but as someone who genuinely cares that my place is up to code and my home will be safe. My contractor left metal straps on copper piping that is already beginning to rust, he left a bucket underneath my subfloor as an emergency run off instead of piping it to the outdoor or tying into a drain line.. all these things and several more he inspected quickly to let me know as I was explaining to him what my issues were with my former contractor. I have to say, this company will always be my go-to plumbing company for as long as I'm in their area after last week. They've got a new customer for life.

Richard, or Old Man as he likes to be called, answered the phone. I was ready to make an appointment for later that week, but he told me he would come that same day! I had an emergency... My main line became clogged preventing any water from draining from the house. Lucky for me, Richard and his associate were able to come out immediately. The cap of the access point for the snake, that's unfortunately in my living room, had become fused. They had to bore a new whole through the metal and insert a new cap. This was not easy to say the least, they worked very hard the entire time to get the job done and left the area clean like nothing had happened.

Thank you for your honesty and saving us money! We have had problems in our main sewer line and several plumbers from other companies only went as far as the first (of several) roots they found. They all gave us a partial snake, and told us to hydrojet. I found Beach Plumbing on Yelp and they came out, took time to snake all the way to the city system, used cameras to show me the problems, and didn't need to hydrojet at all. Saved me hundreds of dollars on that today! They also found a problem in the city line, which I can now ask the city to fix, which saves me much more money and headaches of backups!! Where to begin? It's been almost a four year journey with Richard. He was there to give some sound and honest advice when we bought our house in Long Beach and here he is again to the rescue as we're in the process of selling our home. He's also come to snake our main line just as part of home maintenance.

Needless to say, whenever there is a need for a plumber, Richard is my go-to-guy and I wouldn't think of anyone else. This coming from a girl who is extremely picky about who I do business with. These guys have been the biggest help since I've moved to Long Beach! The plumbing in my apartment SUCKS, especially in my bathroom. I never had hot water in my sink and my shower would always clog up. Then my toilet completely backed up and nothing I did would fix it.

We have had a recurring problem with our kitchen plumbing since we remodeled 10 years ago. We have had more than our share of plumbers out to try to fix this over the last several years. Some of them were able to provide temporary fixes and unclog the drain, but the solutions were never permanent. Our most recent issues of stoppage and severe gurgling coming from the sink that could be heard throughout the house caused us to call several new plumbers with the hope of finally fixing this.

He spent quite a bit of time evaluating the situation and ultimately asked if it would be alright if he cut out some of the drywall to look at how the island sink was vented and piped. We allowed this to be done as we were desperate to get this nagging problem fixed. Once the dry wall was removed, Fabian identified several problems and took the time to show us and explain to us why the current plumbing in the wall was likely causing our problem.

Fabian was the only one who didn't give us a bid but he told us that he wanted to have the owner, Richard, come by and take a look before they quoted anything. Fabian encouraged us to get some other bids which we did. We received the four other bids. Fabian and Richard were aware that the four other bids were between $3,000 and $5,500 for the plumbing. These numbers didn't include the fact that we were going to have to have a flooring company come out and remove and then reinstall the flooring in the kitchen. The other 4 plumbers all recommended cutting out the bottoms of several cabinets, jack hammering the cement, etc....major stuff and possibility of damage to our cabinets and granite.

I actually had to leave town in the middle of this mess. Last night i got a call from my wife to let me know that the plumbing was fixed. I couldn't believe what she was telling me as the other plumbers were telling us this was a multiple day job. She explained to me that Richard was able to come out with Kevin yesterday and the two of them spent a couple hours going through everything and again evaluating the mess that was in our wall. About two hours later after replacing much of the piping in the wall, the problem was fixed. The island sink is now draining without any gurgling or back up because they fixed the venting issue. This was all done without any further demolition for a cost that was ridiculously lower than any of the other bids. Richard and Kevin just saved us thousands of dollars, and i am not convinced that the other plumbers actually saw the real problem.

We are so appreciative of the honesty, professionalism, and knowledge displayed by these two men. Richard and Kevin, thank you very much.

These guys are my go-to plumbers from now on. Great service, good communication and above all integrity.
I had a minor gas leak in my line and my meter was locked by co-cal gas until repaired. They came out the very next morning and quoted a very reasonable flat fee to diagnose the issue. They pressurized my gas line and went from coupling to coupling searching for leaks and found two. They removed old couplings and tightened loose ones to prevent future leaks. Also, they recommended replacing some gas valves that were like twenty years old to prevent problems down the road, which I agreed to. When they were done we asked, how much for the extra work, (I was prepared to be nickel and dimed for another couple hundred at least)...their response...No extra charges!...WHAT!!!...what planet are these guys from?...if they only worked on cars :)

Very impressed and extremely happy with Richard. It was Columbus Day and I was in a pickle. My monthly water bill for a rental property that is roughly $125.00 was $600.00 dollars for the month of September.

After calling 6 different plumbers who were all busy, I came across Beach Plumbing. At first Richard mentioned that he didn't cover my area; however, he reconsidered and met me at the property within 30 minutes. He was very professional and knowledgeable. So I called a few places hoping to get a plumber at my house ASAP to unclog our menacing enemy - the shower drain! And low and behold, Beach Plumbing and Jetting was the only company that came to our rescue in less than an hour! Then Poof! Bam! After calling a company whose service didn't extend to Artesia (as seems to frequently be the case), I found and called Beach Plumbing here on Yelp. On the phone, Fabian was quick and courteous, and diagnosed my jammed disposal instantly. He also told me exactly how I could fix it over the phone. I still set the appointment with him for the same day and told him I would try to dislodge it myself-- if he didn't hear back, I had been unsuccessful.

He called to let me know he was 20 minutes out, and arrived at the beginning of his estimated time window, handing me his magnetic business card before anything else. In less than 5 minutes the disposal was unjammed. He said I probably didn't have the correct size allen wrench, but there's a standard size that comes with every disposal-- I could pick one up from Home Depot to avoid future problems. Definitely calling these guys again.

I am definitely not one of those people who writes reviews for every service I have used on Yelp! (and I am an avail, Yelper)

But, I must express how much I appreciate Richard Olson of Beach Plumbing and Jetting. Of course, I asked friends first, to give me their best plumbers information, but those referrals, either did not call back or they didn't have leak detection equipment. So, I took to Yelp and found Beach Plumbing and Jetting with an impressive 378 reviews with five stars!? I had to investigate further and read some of the 378 reviews (not all of them) just to see what the, less than, five star reviews were saying. But, there were so many solid 'fives' that I gave Beach
Plumbing a call!

The owner, Richard, answered the with such a jovial tone that it made me relax! When he found out I had a leak problem and that all my piping was in the slab....He, without hesitation, gave me another company's name and number and said that the company was the 'Best!' at finding leaks and I could call him back when the location of the leak was mapped out. I did just that! The leak detection company was good and I called Richard back. We set up a same day appointment and he came out an hour earlier to look at how to repair the leak I had under my dining room floor...Because, I have had a previous leak in another area of the house and it is an older house, He recommended I do a total re-pipe! It made sense, because of the previous piping failure. His crew needed a full day for the work so we had to set another day to start, but that worked out well too....The cost was reasonable for the total re-pipe and the patchwork of all the areas, plus adding a shower to a bathroom and then doing a clean-out of my kitchen sink!

I especially liked when I over heard Richard asking his apprentice, Kevin, Now, what are we doing? Kevin, very intent on doing a good job, gave some technical plumbing term and Richard replied, Customer service, going over and above what the customer needs!

So, I would definitely recommend Richard Olsen and his apprentice, Kevin from Beach Plumbing and Jetting for their honesty, integrity and down right sense of humor!

An honest and reliable company, I was fully satisfied with the craftsmanship. Richard came to our rescue when I had an emergency leak at the house. He came and shut off the water supply and gave us a quote. I never felt pressured into going with his company and felt comfortable with his diagnosis of the problem. I thought the five star was strange, but over a hundred reviews and five star can't be lying. Well let's say the company definitely lives up to the five star.

Our house was built before they installed clean out. I could have had a plumber snake from the toilet but we did that last year and paid more than 1/2 what we paid to install a clean out. Being that it's a tree root issue where we can't remove the tree the root issue would come back yearly.

Instead of $600 a year to snake. It's now only $125 a year to get rid of the roots.

Back to the job. Richard gave me the price on the phone and mentioned only one scenario would the price be different.

Let's say he was very happy that it wasn't the more costly scenario. He would have made double but he didn't care. He only cared about me as a customer, he wanted to keep our cost down.

He made sure all the work was completed as promise. The price was EXACTLY as he mentioned on the phone.

He was so confident of his work he gave me an extended warranty.

I have definitely found my go to plumber.

I called on a Friday morning and they managed to schedule a service the same day afternoon from 3-5. It's a clogged kitchen sink. And Gregg showed up earlier. He did a quick test and started to fix it. Only like 5 to 10 minutes, it's all fixed and unclogged. Such a life saver! And they also have 30 days warranty and I can call them if anything got clogged. And mention Yelp you get 5% off.
Gregg is super nice and friendly and helped us fix things fast. Got a sticker and will simply go to them if anything goes wrong later.

Had a main sewer drain blockage a day earlier. I called Mr Rooter to come out to clear the main sewer drain. The rooter they used was only one blade about two inches long. They used a black and white camera and told me my sewer line had separated in multiple locations and that the blockage they couldn't totally clear was located ON MY PROPERTY and that it cost $7000 to repair with a new trenchless sewer drain. They even showed me the exact spot according to their (rigged) device.

Here's where Beach Plumbing comes to save the day! :) Getting a second opinion, I called Richard at Beach Plumbing and he said he could come out in within an hour which really surprised me cause it was already near 5P. He also told me that he seriously doubted I needed a new sewer drain, which after looking at his reviews it seemed as though this guy was a straight shooter and it's so hard to find someone honest these days especially a plumber. When Richard came out he re-cleaned the sewer drain with two four inch blades which is what you're supposed to use, and then used a color camera and showed me that there was only one break in the pipe not multiple like Mr. Rooter.

Here's the kicker: the location of the break that Richard pinpointed was 4 feet from where Mr. Rooter told me and it was on city property so it was NOT my problem, it was the city's!!! Richard showed me how to find the location and lo and behold it was where he told me. I have no idea how the other company could lie and tell me that the location of the sewer break was on my property and then sleep soundly at night.

I almost just got scammed $7000, but having Richard come out was the best investment I've made all year! He gave me a copy of the video and told me how to contact the City to have them repair the sewer break on their dime ASAP!! Richard you rock!! AND are at the top of my list for plumbers!

NEXT DAY UPDATE: So I call the City to have them review the camera footage and found my cheap flash drive didn't save the recording so Richard (He's Da Man!) came back out, re-shot the broken sewer drain and GAVE me his flash drive not wanting to risk using my cheapo flash drive again. ALL at no additional cost...by this time he must be losing money I figure...but hey it's no problem to him! Great guy!!

Our garbage disposal gave up the ghost and I changed it out just fine, but the plumbing on my double sink was a mess as it was cracked and leaking. I figured I would just leave the rest to Richard and his crew. I called and started leaving a message, but as I was leaving the message, they were calling back. I explained the problem to Rich and he provided projected prices for two scenarios so we set a service date and time that worked for me

They arrived exactly on time and after assessing the situation, the problem was fixed at much lower price than predicted.

I have called on Beach Plumbing for service a few times. Once before I moved to Long Beach, about a year ago, and the second time just a few weeks ago. Each time the staff has been courteous, promptly returns phone calls, gets the work done and will address any concerns. Of particular note, if you're lucky enough to have the technician Kody R, he's an amazing asset to the company. He's friendly, attentive, hard working and communicative if anything comes up unexpectedly. In my case, it began as a broken sink shut off valve. I then inquired about an old water heater and finally how to fix galvanized pipes that were in the house (most likely when it was built). At every step, Kody was up front about the issues, pricing, when the issues would be fixed and made sure it all occurred quickly. I was lucky enough to have found this company based upon their Yelp reviews and they are well deserved. Keep up the great work and kudos to all of the other employees too!

These guys were luckily available to help me find a leak in our kitchen on the Friday before Memorial Day. They found it in a couple of hours without tearing up anything. They came up with a creative solution to capture the water from a pinhole leak in a copper pipe in a bucket temporarily until the crew who could replace that section of pipe could get there. Just nice honest guys.

Called them out to fix a leak in the in ceiling of my garage (below a second floor bathroom). Worked around my schedule to come out. Found that the leak was actually from the rain and coming in through a seam in the roof line. Figured it all out, but because they couldn't fix it (a roofing issue) charge me zero.

I hardly ever write reviews, but finding two guys like this that are nice, smart, know what they are doing (even beyond their area of work), and then are more than fair. Pretty amazing. Wish I could give them more stars.

Where do I begin? I don't write many reviews, but this one definitely warrants one! I came home one day to find one of my exterior faucets in the backyard leaking pretty bad and wasn't able to turn it off. I couldn't find my water shut-off valve within my house, so I ended up turning off the water from the main water valve near the street. Reluctant to call one of those big plumbing franchise companies, I turned to Yelp and saw this family-owned company had 5 Stars with many reviews! After reading a handful of reviews, I decided to call this place to make an appointment for the next day. I was informed that someone would be out in 2 hours. I was very pleased to hear that based on my past experience with other plumbers who always say they'll come out the next morning, then show up in the evening.

Upon arrival, Richard (who happens to be the owner) immediately said you don't have a shut off valve. It was actually a relief to hear him say that, since I walked around the house several times trying to locate one and started to question my intelligence.

Anyway, I can't express enough how happy I am that I called this company. Thinking this job might take a few hours, Richard fixed the leak in a matter of minutes! Furthermore, Richard is a true gentleman, very personable, and very professional! I informed him about a leak in my bathroom that I previously did not disclose on the phone. Upon entering my home, Richard even took off his shoes without being asked! He knew immediately what was wrong in the bathroom and told me that it would take a few hours to fix as he would have to order a part. He will be back!

I've had the occasion to call on Beach Plumbing several times for various plumbing problems and each time they have ROCKED. Not in a teeny bopper, Justin Bieber kind of way but a heavy metal Metallica head-thrashing ROCK.

I know what you're thinking: how can you get that excited over a plumber?

If you've ever been burned by a plumber before - shows up late, reeks of mouth wash to hide the morning cocktails, disappears half-way through the job - and you're stuck with a non-functioning toilet and cannot answer nature's call. This lead me to talk to the Home Depot and try and fix my own problems. Which always fails.

Admittedly Yelp lead me to Beach Plumbing. Not only did they show up when they said they would, they were clean, professional, courteous and full of humor. Yeah, humor can be a tough trait in this profession but these guys had it in spades. Greg and his associate quickly fixed all of my horrific mistakes, walked me through what was wrong and why it was wrong, then they fixed the real toilet problem and were promptly on their way.

Recently we had a slab leak and had to repipe the whole house. After doing a lot of homework, we decided to have Beach Plumbing and Jetting do the work. Speaking with Richard for the first time on the phone showed his experience, and he was nice enough to give other tips beyond plumbing as well for our situation. For our house it cost $8900 and it was the best deal we could find.

Richard was very professional, pleasant and diligent with his work. Since the house was damaged severely, we had to have it done quickly so we could have it renovated. He sent a team to our place within 2 days and they finished everything in a day. Yes, it was all done in one day! We couldn't be happier. He even went beyond the job and made the piping for our fridge even though we forgot to ask for it. It was free of charge and now we finally can have some ice!! We are very happy with the work!

After 3 weeks of renovation, we finally moved in few days ago. We got our toilet and sink stuck. We called him again and asked if he could help with it. He came in right away and fixed them under 10 minutes. Guess what, he did not charge us because we recently spent a lot on the piping and renovations.

Richard really knows his stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future plumbing issues for our home.

We recently made our first call to Richard to have a ton of work done (replace waste piping under house, install two way clean out, and install earthquake shutoff at gas meter). The night before I planned to install a new shower arm and garden hose faucet. Neither went well. When Richard and crew (Fabian & Kevin are Great!!) showed up the next morning, I told them my tale of woe. Richard said I'll take care of the little stuff first for free. But call me next time. Stay away from my plumbing!
They also installed hot and cold shutoffs in the back of house at no additional charge.

We were house sitting a friend's apartment for a month in Long Beach on the Peninsula in July 2015. The kitchen sink clogged and I tried to fix it myself, only to realize saving money when I'm not a plumber was really a dumb idea, not to mention the pain of trying to work under a kitchen sink! Our bathroom was flooding.

We had just purchased our first home a few months ago and this was our first plumbing emergency. It was a Sunday and the first half dozen or so plumbers we tried contacting were closed. When I finally got a hold of Richard I was surprised when he said he could come out to our place within the hour.

Richard was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explained all the different options to go about fixing the issue - roots in the main water line. While working on the fix, he found an access to the pipe in our lawn and was able to give us a cheaper price on the work. Very honest of him and will definitely call again for any future plumbing issues. Highly recommend.

Called them for a clogged bathtub drain. Two plumbers showed up a few hours later.

After about 20 minutes of power snaking the drain, it was still clogged. He stated that he was not comfortable continuing with a fear of breaking the pipe and causing a bigger problem.

They decided to call it quits and advised me to call someone else. He stated there would not be a charge for the call and they were on their way.

I didn't know how to proceed with this advice. Since this was the only time I have had a plumber not fix the issue.

On one hand, I was still ankle deep in grey bathtub water. On the other, I appreciate the plumber being honest about being in over their comfort level.

I called another plumber and they were able to remove the clog in about 5 minutes.

Excellent service! We had a blocked drain for a couple of days backing up, and didn't get to call for a plumber till Saturday morning. Spoke with Richard, the owner of the business, and he was at our house within the hour. Very friendly, told us to start running the water for the sink and the washing machine and he had the problem taken care of in half an hour. Cleaned everything up and we were good to go. Very reasonably priced too. I will definitely call Beach Plumbing the next time I need a job done.

Rick came by to help us out with a malfunctioning water heater. He quickly found and remedied the issue (the copper wire attached to the pilot light) so we can enjoy hot water again. Plus, since it's a holiday, he did all this for free! We will definitely call Beach Plumbing again.

These guys are my heroes! I told them what was wrong with my plumbing. They gave me an estimate and said they could be at my place in an hour.

Well, they were there in half an hour, did the job in fifteen minutes. They were extremely courteous and respectful. They charged me exactly what they had estimated over the phone. My plumbing is now working great and they gave me instructions on how to prevent the problem from happening again.

Wonderful! Will definitely use again if needed! Hopefully not, though?

Great Plumbing Company with EXCELLENT customer service.

I have used them for a couple of emergencies on several properties I manage and my mom called me telling me her tankless water heater (which has always been a problem) was leaking. Beach came out and said it needed to be replaced and my mom was SO happy with how professional they were and handled the installation with ease.

I would highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs. I will definitely be using them more often!

I have used these guys in the past at our residence and also at our rental house, both in Huntington Beach...I could not be happier with the results every time. This latest call was for what we hoped was a basic drain clearing but due to the age of our home (built in 1960) it was evident that there was a broken section of pipe at our laundry area. Their camera showed it perfectly. They were here for well over 2 hours and refused any payment, and clean up was spotless. For now the line is still flowing, although obviously needs a section replaced...we will undoubtedly use them for the work after we decide if now is the time to upgrade all the flooring in our home, as that is also on our to do list and seems like good timing, way better than having to rip up new flooring! Plus the ball park quote seemed well in line (no pun intended) Highly recommended!

Our bathroom was flooding.

We had just purchased our first home a few months ago and this was our first plumbing emergency. It was a Sunday and the first half dozen or so plumbers we tried contacting were closed. When I finally got a hold of Richard I was surprised when he said he could come out to our place within the hour.

Richard was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explained all the different options to go about fixing the issue - roots in the main water line. While working on the fix, he found an access to the pipe in our lawn and was able to give us a cheaper price on the work. Very honest of him and will definitely call again for any future plumbing issues. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Richard and Kevin showed up within an hour or two of calling them today with our emergency. We somehow managed to flush an iphone down the toilet and other places were quoting us $200+ and we would have to wait hours. Recently I posted an excellent review for Beach Plumbing & Jetting because of the great response to my Mom's emergency last month. I held on to their phone # in case I needed it some day. That day was last Thursday when my toilet and shower became clogged.

It was around 5:00pm, and once again great response and someone showed up at my house within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the poor guy looked beat. It was obviously the end of his work day and then he had to deal with my problem. The first words out of his mouth were, no guarantees. I must have heard him say no guarantees at least half a dozen times before he even started and this did not sit well with me. I prefer to hear we'll do our best, BUT there are no guarantees. He determined that the main line was clogged and snaked the shower. He worked on it for 35 minutes and then the drain cleared. I paid the $225.00 and signed the receipt and again he reinforced the no guarantee rule.

Within 24 hours the same drains were clogged again. I was warned about the no guarantee rule, however I feel that he could have snaked the drain a bit longer and not just as soon as it cleared. Of course, I'm out of luck because of the no guarantee policy so I did not bother to call them. I called another plumbing company who worked on the line for one hour and it has now been all clear with no further problems. (They charge only $153.00 for after hours, although I did not need after hour service this time). Time will tell of course if this is a bigger problem, or that it has resolved.

I have never written a review before..... But I had to write this review. I highly recommend this family owned company. He fixed my problem within 10-15 mins. From the time I first called Richard to the time he fixed the issue was not more than 1 hr. Not only did he fix the problem he took my trash out as well. He will always be my plumber!!! Even after his son takes over the business.

We had a slab leak, Richard made us feel super comfortable about the entire situation. He not only fixed the problem, I had the entire house repiped with copper and the service line for an amazingly fair price and the work got done in 2 days as promised (holes in house repaired etc.) it's been 2 weeks and no problems here! Oh I also got a new water heater, which was picked up and installed by Beach Plumbing as well.

Their lead Miguel was of great help during the repipe and helped in answering a lot of questions asked by my family and Richard also did an amazing job at helping everyone calm down and this helped in trusting them. They both were right, these are my go to plumbers for life. Highly recommended.

You can stop reading Yelp reviews now, these guys are solid. We were looking to do a total re-pipe on our 1920's Spanish style duplex and called around to a few companies looking for estimates.

Once Richard, the owner, came out and explained the process and why we needed a total re-pipe I looked no further. Sometimes you just meet someone and you trust them right away, and for me he's that kind of guy. I knew that he would back up his work and get the job done well.

He didn't lie when he said it was going to get a bit ugly as re-piping is a pretty invasive process. But he had an entire team of people come in and knock it out in just two days work. They were thorough and professional and totally knew their stuff. Fabian oversaw the job as Richard needed to have surgery the day our work was scheduled to begin. But on the second day of work Richard, fresh out of the hospital after surgery, showed up a bit hobbled just to make sure that everything was being done to his standards.

When I first met with him he had given us the pluses and minuses of both PEX and copper piping (we went with PEX) and priced the job to completion for whatever we chose. There were no secret or hidden charges. Whatever issues they faced during the install, it was all included in that price.

And once the plumbing was in, he had superior quality finishers that came in and matched the unique stucco on the outside of my house perfectly and also did the same to the walls they had to cut into on the inside. The only thing they don't do is repaint the disturbed walls but was explained to me well ahead of time.

In short, I trust them, they do quality work, they show up on time, they're experts at what they do and Richard has decades of experience that he brings to the job. Richard himself is a personable, friendly, straight shooter and it was very refreshing to do business with someone like that.

Now our water pressure is great, we have full time hot water to the faucet and we feel like we made a friend who just happens to be our plumber.

Thanks Richard, Fabian and the rest of the crew at Beach Plumbing and Jetting. With a five-star Yelp rating and 333 reviews I'm not sure they need another positive review but they totally deserve it.

I called late in the day and they were able to right out the next morning. Prompt and on time like they said they would. I had a blockage somewhere in the line and they went above and beyond to find it and clear it. They used cameras in the line and crawled under the house. In my opinion, a thorough inspection to correctly identify the problem. Fast, friendly, and upfront honesty. If you're in Long Beach or anywhere close I highly recommend. Richard and company were in an out in less than an hour, took care of the problem and cleaned up like they were never there. Thanks for the great work.

I had just purchased and moved into my new home in Long Beach. After my first night in the place, the plumbing backed up. It was a Saturday and with of four and one on the way, I needed a plumber ASAP. I called Beach plumbing and Richard was at my place in 30 mins. Within the hour the drains were cleared. He was fast, efficient and most of all, honest about what work needed to be done. He warned me that it would clog again unless a clean out toward the house was installed and the pipes cleaned.

And he was right...three days later at 10pm, as my wife went into labor (we had a home birth), the pipes backed up again (true story). Given the situation that I was in, I freaked out and called Richard right away. As with his first visit, he was there and solved the problem within an hour.

I'm never calling another plumber again and would recommend Beach plumbing 10x's over.

If you are like me and can't read pass a few sentences in a review...Richard is THE plumber you are looking for. I was going crazy and contacted at least 6 different plumbers. And Richard is Amazing!!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! He is like a Plumbing God.

I contacted Richard when I was having trouble with the work of another plumbing company. He was sooo incredibly nice and patient, answering all my small plumbing questions and guiding me to through the whole process. Richard was so knowledgeable that, after speaking with multiple plumbers, I was the most confident in his opinion. I hired him to come and assess the problem and to offer a second opinion. He went above and beyond & went out of his way to drive over in order to look at the problem (even though my house was way out of his working area). At the end of trying a few things and assessing the situation, he decided he did not want to charge me for the visit! He said I had already been too inconvenienced. Huh?!?! After driving in traffic and using up his time, he said I was already too inconvenienced!

Richard is also so honest that afterwards he even directed me to try to work with the other plumbing company and to allow them to fix their mistakes. He even said he would be willing to make a visit to see that they were doing it right because he gets so upset when other plumbers do the job wrong. Amazing person!! I can't thank him enough for being so wise and kind and restoring my faith in service providers.

Also, while there are some companies that ask you to write them a yelp review...Richard was just helpful and never brought that up once, so of course, I had to.

Fantastic service. I called Beach Plumbing after 5pm and they got back to me in about an hour. They were at my house an hour after that. (I received only one other call-back out of the half dozen calls I placed. The other 24 hour plumber told me to call back in the AM)

This is our go to from now on for our plumbing needs! When they say SAME DAY, they mean SAME DAY!!! Our kitchen sink backed up because I decided to throw fish into our garbage disposal. Oops!! I had been working with another plumbing company for the past several years but recently the quality and dependability went downhill. I searched YELP and found Beach Plumbing based on the positive reviews.
Fabian came and checked out the job and tried his best to resolve the problem (opening valves, blowing out the lines, etc), but the problem was in the water lines. We rescheduled to fix the lines and he was able to do repair it the next day. He kept me informed and took some before and after pics.

Also, before I scheduled an appointment they thought they were not going to be able to come soon enough so he recommended another company, but I said I could wait. Fortunately, he called me later and found an earlier appointment.

After finding out we didn't have hot water, I made the call. Thought it was just going to be a repair, but was informed how expensive the parts for my water heater was. Decided on just getting a new one installed. Within 1 hr Fabian was there disassembling the old water heater. Shortly after the owner Richard was there with a new one. Richard and his crew are top notch! On time, courteous, efficient, knowledgable and clean! He was the first plumber who came out to our home and actually listened to what we needed and fixed it right the first time. Excellent customer service!! We had a plumber come out at the beginning of the month for a drainage issue on our washer. Reasonable price and issued was fixed. 2 days later our shower and toilet started to drain really slow and then backed up repeatedly after draino, snaking etc my husband still couldn't get it to work. I contacted Beach Plumbing this afternoon and explained my problem and was told he would be at the house later this evening. Fabian and Kevin came over and explained possible reason and inspected issue. They snaked the drain with their machine and problem was fixed. We are very happy with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the guys that came out. We will definitely be using them in the future for any of our Plumbing needs!! Awesome job guys!!!

Richard and his crew took care of a stubborn draining issue for me. I was worried we were going to have to spend big $ on pipe replacement after attempting my own DIY job. They have the experience and tools and got the job done without the need for a more expensive and time-consuming alternative. They identified the problem, cleared the drain, scoped it and then jetted the remaining blockage. They identified issues in the old corroded main line that will need to be addressed one day but with this cleaning, we have a good window of time to save up for that job in the future. My water heater stopped working yesterday. I placed a request for reliable water heater installers through Yelp last night about 9:30 and received 4 replies before 10...one of which was from Beach Plumbing. They could get someone at my home by 9 in the morning. One of the companies could not get out for 4 days. Rene came out first thing this morning. The promptness of service response and my perception of his honesty, along with positive Yelp ratings and comments, led me to make the deal. Although they were not the least expensive, the full 6 year warranty for parts and labor was a plus. I had replaced the burner twice in the past 2 years on the bad heater that was 7 years old. The company was swamped on calls but Chad delivered the unit and Rene installed the new water heater and got everything up to code. Four days without hot water is 3 days too many!

After a week in our new home, I used the gas dryer for the first time (new appliance that was just installed by a big box home improvement warehouse company) and thought I smelled gas. These guys saved me and clearly heard the panic in my voice when I called first thing in the morning after a toilet would not stop overflowing due to my sewage line stoppage. Richard came within the hour and spent almost all afternoon troubleshooting. He even said 'I'm not leaving till this is fixed'. Robert and Kevin are plumbing masters! I called this morning right at 8 and he was able to come right out. Another plumber had come out just last week to snake the line but as our water softener was doing it's weekly cleanse last night, we heard the toilets bubble and water was rising in the showers. Robert and Kevin came out and snaked the line again and ran their video camera through the pipes. We saw there was another blockage...a root as thick as my baby's arm!! Kitchen sink was clogged and I received a couple opinions about roots growing into our pipes... $$ were astronomical. Called Beach Plumbing and they came out immediately. $125 Snake job did the trick. Tried to tip them and they just said please yelp me! That's tip enough. Great guys!

Fast forward a week... Kitchen sink clogged again... our fault for sure. Called Beach Plumbing and they came out and snaked it again for free. They said that they new why it was clogged this time, but we'll ignore that and just take care of it because we warranty our work! Again, tried to tip but was asked to just yelp them. Great guys!

Unless you are plumber, you are a moron if you don't call these guys for your plumbing needs!

Sooo my husband Panos deals with all house issues and he'd been wanting to write an awesome review for these guys but he's not a Yelper like me... so here are his two cents, word for word!

Just because one plumber couldn't do it, doesn't mean another one can't. Famous words spoken by Richard. I called him up and he was here in short notice after an hour. And indeed, lo and behold, after 2 days without water and a failed attempt by a previous plumber, we had water again. The cold water galvanized pipe edge piece in the kitchen sink was rusted and corroded and said previous plumber wouldn't dare to take up on the task and had us believe that the only solution was to start re-piping THE ENTIRE HOUSE first thing the next day. I like to prove them wrong Richard said. And he did. With his herculean strength and mad skills, he managed to get it out and put a new valve in. He saved the day and bought us some time until we decide to re-pipe. Friendly, funny, genuine, honest, and highly effective, Richard is one of those people who can immediately make you feel like you've known them for years. He's the real deal and you have to look no further if you need a plumber. Thanks Richard, you ARE the man!

**Updated**. A couple of days later it was Fabian's time to save the day. This time the ice maker supply line to the fridge was leaking. Fabian figured it out in seconds and came up with the solution in another few seconds. Brilliant! Didn't even take any money for it. These guys are #1 in my book and they deserve all the 5 star reviews they get! Like Richard said Yes, we want to make money, but we want to help people too. That says it all.

I was notified by a representative from the City of LB that my water consumption had gone from 9 units to 100 and he could see a pipe leak in my planter. The next day I had a company come out and they said I had a pinhole leak in a pipe in the front of my house but they could not fix it for 4 days. Jason and Michael came to my house after a frantic call because I didn't have warm or cool water in my shower. It was either a shower in freezing cold water or scolding hot water. After a brief call Jason and Michael showed up immediately within a few minutes to save the day. They went out of their way to fix everything and did a wonderful job. Woke up Easter morning to black soot in the bath tub (Dafuq?!)... Went on Yelp, looking for a plumber in Long Beach. Dialed the first five listings - No answer or service unavailable due to Easter Sunday (understandable). Dialed the next listing, AKA BEACH PLUMBING AND JETTING. A service rep troubleshot my situation over the phone and estimated a plumber to arrive at my door in an hour. As promised, Richard came knocking WITHIN 45 MINUTES!!! We used Beach Plumbing & Jetting for the first time this morning, and as a result of the experience they're now our go-to plumber. Our main line clogged and started backing up. When we called our former plumber, they couldn't get anyone out until tomorrow. I found Beach on Yelp, called them, and they had Fabian knocking at my door in less than a half hour. Fabian was friendly, professional, knowledgable and very reassuring as he proceeded to solve the problem in no time. Very reasonably priced. Odd to say, but I've never had an plumbing service call this pleasant. When we need them next time, their card is up on our fridge. It should be on yours too.

Very frustrating experience. I called them last week when I discovered water coming up through our slab into the master bedroom. At first I was very impressed - they were able to come out later that same day, trace the water pipes under the slab, diagnose the problem, and then give me a quote to fix it the next day.

I sent the quote into my insurance company, and all they needed me to do was remove a few things that were not covered by insurance. I called Beach Plumbing and Richard said he would take care of it right away. After waiting 2 business days I called again and Richard said he was sorry but that he was so busy he didn't have time yet. He said he would definitely take care of it that day. The day came and went and still nothing so I called again the next morning and left a message. Nobody called back for 8 hours so I called again at the end of the day, and spoke to Fabian, where I again explained the situation. Next thing that happened was an email that came through at 9:30PM that night simply saying Unfortunately we will not be able to move forward with this project.

So now after a week has gone by, I am scrambling to find a new plumber. There was really no explanation at all - I assume they just got too busy to deal with it which is fine, but then don't leave me hanging for 4 days and continue to promise you will do something and don't follow through.

I really can't say enough about Ricardo and Kevin who showed up when they said, performed the task required as agreed, for a price that was quoted before any work started without any further pushy sales for further service. It is extremely satisfying to know that there are people out there that perform service work that have a true pride in their work and their goal is making customers happy and satisfied. After all work was completed, you could not tell anyone had ever been on the property or in the house. I will never call another for my plumbing needs, as I have found a permanent go to company.

We were very happy with our experience with Richard and Beach Plumbing.
The tenants in our home were experiencing water backing up into the toilet and tub. The first plumbing company to come and assess the situation had quoted us $2,800, and a whole bunch of work replacing piping and the water heater tank etc. After feeling skeptical we decided to call Richard at Beach, and based on what I told him over the phone, Richard assumed we were being taken advantage of and offered to come and assess the situation himself. Within 2 hours he had figured out that there was just root intrusion in the sewer line and had cleaned it out, with no other work needing to be done. Richard saved us over $2,400. Background: Our main sewer line became partially blocked last June and was backing up into our home on occasion. We called out another plumbing company, who attempted two days in a row to clear the blockage and FAILED, but billed us anyhow. They then recommended their buddy come out and hydrojet our line, which we did on day 3. Ironically, they could not clear the line either and marked the blockage at the same spot as the original plumbing company. He also FAILED but billed us. Both said the line is 'broken' and our only choice was to start digging, and after a full week of not having plumbing in our home, we were still no where with an 8' hole. As a last resort, I had the City flush their main sewer line and put a camera down there to look up our connection. Our line was NOT broken, but simply blocked with roots, which the plumbers should've been able to clear. The original plumbing company was right there talking up the City employees out to work on the sewer trying to pump them for information so they could attempt to scam us for another $7-$10K for a broken line. Months later, we received a court judgment in our favor against these two crooked plumbing companies, J&D Plumbing and Robert's Plumbing and Rooter Services.

After already spending over $2,000 on this unknown problem and being scammed by the first group of idiots, I decided to have Richard form Beach Plumbing and Jetting come out and give it a go. Richard was HONEST, professional and though busy, Richard came out promptly and in LESS THAN 15 MINUTES of snaking our sewer line, Richard had our line draining!! He snaked it several times to ensure that the line was clear of ALL blockage. Richard then put a camera down our line to show me the entire line and the drainage. Further, given our horror story above, Richard refused to even charge me for his services!!

If I could give Beach Plumbing 10 stars for giving us back water usage and our sanity, I would! I was nervous to call out another unknown plumbing company after the first two, but Richard told me if he couldn't clear it, there would be no charge. A company with integrity. THANK YOU RICHARD!

Very poor customer service.

If basic customer service cannot be provided, I would question their overall service ability.

Tried on a Tuesday to set something up, they offered Wednesday morning of the following week. I could not take that time off work and asked for the next day (Thursday of following week). They said that was too far out and try calling them later in the week.

I made arrangements to take the morning off from work on the Wednesday they originally offered. I called them back to confirm, and they would not pick up... I left several messages and they completely ignored me. They suck!

Let me begin by saying that Richard saved us about $6K. Rescue Rooter came out and snaked out our main drain for $175 and after they left it was still plugged. RR said they they would refund our $175 (still waiting). Then Prodigy came out and wanted $895 to snake things out and offered as a long term remedy $6-7K for a sleave that would provide a life time of clean main drain. BEACH showed up and for $150 actually cleaned the main drain and suggested doing this once a year to maintain a root free main drain. So, $150 later, not $6k our bathtub now drains. Richard is a funny dude, too...in a good way.

Just like other reviewers, I contacted Beach Plumbing for a second opinion as well. I was greeted by Richard and immediately could tell he was there to help me. I explained to him what I had done to my house and to find out if the work I was told I needed, was absolutely necessary. He checked out my leak and realized it wasn't a plumbing issue but a caulking issue. I asked him about the visit fee and he said it is zero. Nothing. I was worried I was going to have to spend a lot of money to get a main line jetted because another plumber had just left and told me that is what needed to happen. I saw all of the yelp reviews for Beach Plumbing and decided to give them a call. I spoke to Richard and he assured me that he could fix it and I wouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg. After the call Richard and his assistant were at my house in 5 minutes! No joke 5 minutes. They were at my house for about 40 minutes and had it all fixed! The guy is awesome seriously! He was patient, professional, honest and reliable. A real class act. I can't recommend them enough, they are my new go to plumber for any issues. Call them, you will be glad you did.

Richard Olson and his brother Paul are good people!! My husband and I noticed drops of water running down the wall in our laundry room. Oh no, we have a leak somewhere. We called the Olsons, they answered right away, discussed the issue and came to our house within the hour. Pin hole leak in the master bathroom's copper pipe which is located just above the laundry room. They cut out and replaced that section of the pipe. Friendly, professional, quick, and clean service. This guy deserves to be yelped! I'm a realtor and he did an amazing job for my client. The seller was having concerns about back up in her bathtub and she called 2 other well-advertised plumbing companies and was quoted no less than $3000 for getting the work done. I asked for a 3rd opinion and luckily with the help of Yelp, I got to talk to Richard who told me that it will only cost me his call service fee which is nothing compared to what was quoted to my client. He said if he can't do it, he doesn't get paid. I think that is a win-win proposition for us. Voila! He fixed it in no time. What could have ended a big expense for my client, ended with a big smile on her face. We need more plumbers like him! Honest, experienced and competent!

My water heater pilot went out and I couldn't get it to stay on. I messaged Beach Plumbing through Yelp and for a quick response with a reasonable quote for a new thermocoupler, the most likely cause. They were at my house within the hour. Fabian was able to get the pilot lit for me. I guess the problem was me not the water heater! He didn't even charge us for coming out! They have a loyal customer in me from now on. Great work and great customer service. Quick, efficient, and friendly. I contacted him for a second opinion because I was told we needed a few thousand dollars in repairs after a bad back up. He viewed it with a camera, and thought there might be some bad damage, but didn't want to do anything until he scrapped it and got a better look. Scrapped it and was able to see the pipe wasn't actually damaged, but just needed a good cleaning. Gave good advise on maintenance and said we probably had at least five years before we needed any serious work done. Saved me thousands and a major inconvenience. Highly recommend.

I called on Friday night around 4:45 PM for a Saturday morning appointment. I was told that they would be at my home between 11:00 and 1:00. Fabian and Tom showed up at 12:00, calling first to let me know they were on the way. It is so refreshing to find an honest plumber. Richard was the 2nd plumber to come to our home on a Sunday for a clog that was backing up into our back house/garage. The 1st plumber charged us a small fee to snake it and said there was a blockage. He said he would return the following day to hydroflush and use a camera for $500. On 8/14, I called Beach Plumbing and Jetting to unclog my kitchen sink, and Brian was sent out to help right away. Not only did he quickly unclog the drain, but he took the time to go under the house to ensure that there were not any other problems. He found a leak under the main bathroom that had corroded an electrical wire covering that was dangerous! A few days later, I used them to fix the damaged piping Brian found underneath the house. Brian and Michael both came out to handle this repair. Both great guys, not a single complaint. Brian even came back today and helped my wife and I get the financing to completely re-pipe the house, which we will be doing very soon. If you call them, request Brian, and tell him to bring Michael along. Because of them, I will be using Beach Plumbing!

These guys were very professional and great to work with. They also take credit card payment, which was a plus for me. I had them check out a leak that turned into a much larger project that I had expected/hoped for. I was given a couple options on how to attack the problem and what I felt were very honest and informative reasons for going at it either way. They were able to start right away and completed the project quickly. When the kitchen sink backed up about a month later, they came out to check it free of charge even after determining that the back up wasn't related to the work they did. Great guys!

We have a usual plumber that we like and trust, but had an emergency over a weekend that he was out of town. I called Beach Plumbing, entrusting the 5 star review, and was not disappointed. They were the fastest plumbers I have ever seen. It wasn't so much a byproduct of an easy job as it was their hustle and energy. What we thought was one pipe blockage turned out to be two separate issues. Even though the secondary was much more complicated, our fee only rose slightly. And to top it off, they fixed a third problem pretty much for free.

I am very glad I called these guys, and will do so again. Fair, honest, and lightning fast.

TL;DR version: Fast, punctual, honest, thorough, and great. Richard is like your favorite uncle (if your uncle was a plumbing pro). Call them.

Their 5-star reputation is well deserved. Last Saturday night, my wife and I came downstairs to find our bathroom flooded. The line had backed up with sewage and was being pushed up our shower drain and toilet, which was now covering our floor. We were obviously panicked and horrified (we had just bought the house), and called so-called 24-hour plumber who said they'd be at our place in 1.5 hours--and then stood us up with no phone call, and our messages were not returned.

I sent a message through Yelp to multiple plumbers that night at about 11pm, expecting not to hear anything until the morning. Richard responded within 10 minutes, got the details of our issue, (others responded the next morning, or not at all), and had a crew out to look at our line the next morning at 8am (they showed up at 8). Our pipes are old and looked to be in bad shape, but Richard advised us to not panic, and then set out a plan to tackle the issue incrementally--starting with least invasive/costly, and going from there. Throughout the process, Richard explained the pros/cons of the situation, made sure we were understanding what was happening in our lines, and was a huge calming influence. Richard was able to solve our issue with with phase one of his stair-step solution. Made some recommendations on small things we can do to maintain the health of the line. And recommend we immediately replace a toilet which could be a problem for the line.

I can't say enough good things about them, or Richard. The solution was not cheap (but it was less expensive, and incremental vs. another reputable competitor), but far less expensive than the worst-case scenarios that I'm sure dishonest plumber would jump to (and unwitting, desperate customers like me might have gone for).

Had a toilet leak and a shower leak from the ceiling on my 2nd floor and was in desperate need of a plumber! Found these guys on Yelp and they're extremely efficient. Thoroughly explained the to Richard issue over the phone, so when they arrived, they got started right away.

They opened up the ceiling and quickly assess the problem--you could tell that these guys really knew what they were doing.

The cost to fix my shower issue was quite high--$700, but Jose and Richard discussed alternative that brought that number down to $0. Walked away with just fixing my toilet issue to $250, which is a great savings.

Super nice, smart and efficient. Highly recommend these guys.

So, we had a sewer line back up in our house while I was home and my husband was at work. Beach Plumbing and Jetting showed up the same day within a couple of hours to assess the situation, thank goodness! Rene did some diagnostics, which revealed a main line backup in our house. He was extremely professional and thorough in how he explained the problem to me in a way that I could understand. We recently purchased this older, mid-century home, which (turns out) did not have a main line clean out. Rene quoted us fair, upfront pricing to handle the job of digging and installing a clean out for the house. He returned with an amazing and friendly crew that handled business quickly and efficiently, and left our home looking like they hadn't even been there. Rene and his crew, including Kody, Adonis, Fábian and Kevin were professional and knowledgeable, and showed attention to detail in finishing the job. Kody even took the care to beautifully replace a plant they needed to pull out in order to complete the job. We will highly recommend Rene and his crew to anyone in need of plumbing work. This is the 2nd time I've used Beach Plumbing & Jetting and have been extremely satisfied both times. A couple years ago, Chad, the owners son, installed a waterline for my refrigerator. Just a few minutes ago, the owner, Richard Olsen, arrived within 30 minutes of my call, and in around 30 minutes had both of my toilets working and gave me suggestions on replacing a sink. I had a non professional tinker with it, which didn't work, and I even tried, which was useless. There price was very reasonable and even though I dreaded and feared what it would cost, Richard's personality made it a joyful experience! I recently had an emergency in my old Long Beach House. The plumbing got backed up and sewage was flowing back into my bathtub.

Long Beach Plumbing and Jetting came out within an hour of me calling. They brought a small army and installed two new clean outs and cleared up my lines. They were an incredible help.

Beach Plumbing has been spending a lot of time at our house lately. They have been very reliable, honest and on-time. I have never enjoyed working with contractors in the past because I always felt taken advantage of. Beach Plumbing is a father and son operation. They actually answer the phone when you call. They are truly a pleasure to work with.

I originally called for an blockage in my backyard drain which was flooding my side yard. Chad came out within a few hours, and was able to diagnose the problem and put in a pump to keep my home from flooding. Then over the course of the next week, when the rain stopped, he proceeded to replace the drainage pipe that goes out to the street.

No sooner had we repaired that did we end up with a slab leak. Chad once again, was able to get a leak detection company out to a locate the source and repaired it that day.

Since then, he has done some other minor plumbing work in my home. It has always been a pleasure to work with him and he shows up on time!! I finally met his dad, who seems equally as helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend Beach Plumbing!!!

My dogs had been acting peculiar in the corner of my garage. I investigated and detected a natural gas leak. Beach Plumbing was the only Plumber out of 5 local Long Beach plumbers which I called that picked up the phone. I had an urgent need, a gas leak in my garage and I needed a plumber to match my level of urgency. I found that with Beach Plumbing.

Richard, the owner and Chad were on site within an hour and scheduled me for repairs the following day at 8am. Sure enough, they arrived on time and had my gas leak repaired several hours later. The gas leak was much worse than I thought as several feet of galvanized gas pipe had deteriorated and rusted below ground. Concrete pavement and slabs had to be jackhammered up to gain access.

I was offered a fair price for the job and really grew to trust these guys. The owner lined me out on what needed to be done and offered some cost alternatives. I have done a lot of my own handyman jobs, but did not have the necessary equipment to complete this job.

Beach Plumbing was: quick to respond, on time, kept their promises, and priced well. Richard and Chad are really likeable guys as well. You cannot go wrong with this company.

These guys are so great! They went way above and beyond! I had a leak on a Saturday night. I called and spoke to Richard. I immediately liked him on the phone; he told me that I would be paying overtime, but he seemed to really want to be sure that was okay with me. He told me that it would be $195 to stop the leak that night, unless the garbage disposal needed to be changed. He was at my place in an hour (he told me it would be an hour and a half,) took one look under the sink, said, The garbage disposal needs to be changed, I'm not going to charge you for tonight, and we're going to come back when you're not paying us triple time. I was so impressed with that. How much more honest can you be?

We made an appointment for Tuesday, because there were several things that needed to be done and the water needed to be turned off in the building (I live in a condo.) He and Fabian came out on Tuesday, the people who were supposed to never shut the water off in the building, and they couldn't do the work. They were unbelievably nice about it. They agreed to come back on Thursday and finish what they couldn't do.

In the end, they did all of the work in my unit, and even though they made three trips, Richard only charged me what we had originally agreed to (and he didn't charge me on Saturday!) Thank you! Thank you!

These guys are absolutely amazing!!! I called 4-5 different plumbers and many of them could not come out immediately (I had to wait until the next day, or some even said the next week), even after I explained that my situation was very time sensitive. Beach Plumbing was the only one quickly responsive and said they would come out within 2 hours. They ended up coming within 1 hour!!! And the service was excellent- very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonably priced. Richard (the owner) came with Fabian, and they were very helpful and friendly. Is a ten star review possible? I Was in dire straights this morning, tenants without restroom facilities for three days. My usual plumber was giving me the run around. In desperation I turned to Yelp. I phoned and Richard answered(no recording or voicemail) I explained the situation, he was extremely kind and sympathetic. Needed a plumber, was in a bind and frazzled because the plumbing company I originally called could not do cc over the phone. I found Beach Plumbing and spoke to Fabian. He was very informative and explained that he would come out to my house and take a look. I explained I had another plumber come out and state it would be thousands for a certain problem. We'd been struggling with very poor drainage of our washing machine for several years when I had decided enough was enough. What should be a simple household task had become a tiresome, physical endeavor due to the required repeated squeegeeing of the water that would collect on the patio. I thought I would try calling the place that leaves the calendars and coffee cups as advertising, but after checking Yelp and seeing their overall one star rating from over 30 reviews I decided against them.

After calling several local places and leaving messages on a Saturday morning, these guys were the only ones to call back. Richard (aka Chaz??...) quoted a very reasonable price and arrived ten minutes before our scheduled time. Sporting a strong Mo Greene a la Godfather movie vibe, Chaz seemed very confident he could fix the problem, even when it didn't go as smoothly with a couple of hiccups during the job.

The end result? The water now drains with no back up whatsoever and my squeegeeing days are finally over, with laundry once again being a simple benign chore. Thanks Yelpers for steering me away from scammers and towards a top notch professional!

Awesome service. I called around noon to schedule an appointment to have my drain cleared out and was quickly accommodated. The team was flexible in working with me to arrange a time because I was at work. Upon arrival, Rene and Kevin immediately addressed the issue and were done in no time at all. On July 2, 2015 I had the misfortune of dealing with Richard Olson from Beach Plumbing. Upon arriving at my residence he was rude, unprofessional and condescending and verbally abusive. In the presence of the owner he stated I only speak with owners, not tenants! (Very Demeaning).
He did not do the work and denied any work was needed even though four of the best local plumbing company's acknowledged the problem.

I called the office within minutes, only to be threatened by Scott Roberts.
This is what transpired:

1. Scott called me crazy
2. said I was a crazy cat women (I have no Pets)
3. Get a psychiatrist
We know where you live and we will come after you. We will sue you for everything you have, If you go on YELP!
I Immediately called the Long Beach Police and filed a report..

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Sunday night my sewer main line backed up. Did same 4 months earlier too. At that time I used another company. Prior guy claimed when he hit the blockage he pushed it into the city line. 4 months later last night, blocked again. Searched Yelp read the reviews for Beach. I called Richard, early Monday morning, and he and Dave at my house 2 hours latter. They hit one spot (obstruction) and kept going and hit another. Next thing I hear the whoosh sound and both bathrooms toilets and tubs drained just like the prior company. BUT When Richard and Dave pulled the cable out, massive amounts of roots. Well of course it was roots, BUT the prior company pulled no roots and both that company and Beach hit the same two obstructions. The size of Richards machine and claw was the difference. Wasted money on the other company. Beach is my new company going forward. Well worth the few extra dollars they charged knowing it was actually done right! Plus they still have me a 30 day warranty! I guess the old line of get what you pay for again proves true. Thank you Richard!

They spent 45 mins figuring out why our shower backed up, fixed it, gave recommendations to avoid the problem in the future. Extremely professional, fast service. This is the second time I have called Fabian and he has been awesome.
We first used Beach Plumbing to clear roots out of our main. Then just recently used them to fix a broke pipe in our front yard.
While they were here I ask Fabian to take a look at our front bathroom faucet. Not only did he look, but he fixed the bathtub faucet for no charge because he already given me a quote.
I even offered to pay more and he stood by his price.
The customer service they provide is greatly appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed.
Hopefully we don't have any more issues, but if we do I will definitely be calling Beach Plumbing again.

I called Beach Plumbing twice, both emergency situations and both times, they were at my house in less than 20 min! The first time was for our water heater which Chad fixed very quickly. The next time was for our bath tub which had standing water and wouldn't drain. Three of them showed up including Richard the supervisor. They had the problem fixed very quickly and charged me a very reasonable price for both visits.

I also had a very simple question about my water heater and Richard was incredibly patient and waited on the phone with me while I tried to fix it myself. Which I was able to do with his help!

Due to a poor contracting job with our homes add on, we've since had many plumbing issues and therefore have had to call several plumbers. Out of all of them Richard and Beach Plumbing have been the clear cut favorite. On time, honest, and professional. Even giving us personal recommendations that are more cost effective instead of trying to get us to break the bank. Finding a good plumber is like a finding a good mechanic... the honest ones with your best interest in mind is a rare thing. I definitely recommend these guys for any plumbing needs.

A bummer way to end a Thursday night is a surprise leak in the kitchen. However, Beach Plumbing and Jetting came to the rescue! They made it out in a timely manner in the middle of the night. 5 stars to Richard Olsen who came out and fixed the leak right away. I appreciated his service and positive attitude. Way to go Beach Plumbing!

Fabian showed up soon after my wife called with a toilet issue. He soon found the issue and resolved it quickly. On top of that he fixed a lingering issue with the bathroom sink. Cannot thank him and Beach Plumbing and Jetting enough! Highly recommended!

After having to call these guys out not once but twice for a plumbing emergency. We are absolutely pleased with the work that has been done. But not only are we happy with the work we are very pleased with the prices! Super reasonable, on time, great personality and willing to go beyond. Beach Plumbing was referred to us and we are more than happy to refer them to anyone.

We had a horrid smell coming from somewhere in or around our house. We had called out a previous plumber who said nothing was wrong. But something was! We called the city and county, thinking that it was the storm drains and they came out cleaned them, but to no avail.

We called an inspector who said we had no problems.

TWO years later we found Richard who came out and found no leaks, but thought it was the vents. He found a problem in our attic!

This is the type of service and knowledge we have been looking for years!

Just as an update, Richard did find a small problem in the attic, but the smell returned. That is because it is not our house! Richard has since returned five times and worked on both of my neighbors houses.

I feel guilty that I am not paying him enough; I mean he will not take my money until the problem is fully solved.

It is so funny we just talk about Richard like family. He's quite the man; any time, any problem and he's just a normal guy that goes out of his way to get the job done right.

I can't even begin to describe the relief of having my clog resolved quickly and professionally within an hour of calling Beach Plumbing and Jetting. On a Saturday evening, even!

Rick is professional, friendly, competent, and very reasonably priced. He brought a young assistant (and didn't charge extra for that.) He washed his hands after touching anything dirty and was careful to dry his hands on rags instead of nice towels.

Most importantly he LISTENED to me when I described the history of this problem rather than brushing me aside and wasting time jumping to conclusions about what might be wrong. The whole repair took less than 35 minutes and Rick showed up about a half hour after I called him.

This was such a fantastic experience, especially following the horrible experience I had trying to go with two of the Big Brand plumbers:

I spent all day getting jerked around by Roto Rooter and by Mike Diamond. Both of those outfits of crooks played games with changing appointment times (without checking with me!) RR changed my appointment from we'll be there at noon to Monday. What?!? MD showed up but was incompetent, obviously didn't want to do the work, didn't listen when I described the problem and wanted to charge me three times what Rick of Beach Plumbing and Jetting ended up charging me.

Beach Plumbing and Jetting is going permanently into my phone's contacts list and I will refer friends to Rick without reservation.

Fabian came out and checked out my water heater that wasn't working. He determined it was probably a wind gust that blew out the pilot. I couldn't restart it but he knew how. Since he was at my house only for a few minutes, he didn't charge me anything even after I offered to pay for the service call. He even gave me some tips on how to clean it out. I know I'll need a new water heater within a couple of years because mine is old, so I will definitely call him when I need to get a new one.

Richard and his apprentice were wonderful! I found them on yelp because of their 5 star rating but I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Even though he was late, he kept calling me to let me know when he would be here and told us because he was running so late his service today would be free! He MORE than made up for it when he cleaned out our clogged washing machine drain that was backed up and he didn't even charge us! He was super efficient and answered all our other questions and advice for the future to keep costs down. Our drain is draining great again! Can't thank you enough Richard and Beach Plumbing and Jetting! Would definitely recommend them!!

Walked in the garage and found water everywhere in the evening of the day after Christmas. Called Richard at Beach Plumbing and Jetting and he offered to come right out even though it was still really part of the holiday and he was just home from the hospital. I knew how to turn the water off, so I told him to come when it was convenient and he assured me I'd be the first call at 7 a.m. Richard showed up before 7, followed by Fabian, and the two plumbers got right to work removing and replacing my worn out water heater. Hours later, there is a new tankless water heater in place, mounted higher up to give me a little more clearance over the dryer, and everything has been put back in its place with hot water and gas restored. One big problem which could have taken days with anyone else was solved immediately by Richard.

This isn't the first time I've used Beach Plumbing. Fabian was here a couple of months ago to clear a line which caused grease and gunk to back up all over - and checked every drain in the house to be sure that, when he left, everything was working correctly and completely. Again, emergency presented as brown crud was backing up through the shower - and Beach Plumbing was on the job with no delay.

I would recommend Beach Plumbing without any reservation or hesitation. You won't find better or more honest, trustworthy plumbers.

Greg removed the garbage disp and installed a baskett strainer. He was on time and super quick! He gave us a great deal! We've hired other plumbers for this issue. He's the only plumber who finally fixed it! I definitely recommend Beach Plumbing and Jetting!

Impeccable service on the weekend! Greg was at my house 25 minutes after I called for help. He took 15 minutes to snake and clear the drain. He also did the work at a reasonable price.
