DO NOT USE THEM! Just had these guys come to my house to fix a loud noise from the furnace in our tenants' unit. They put some wd-40 on the fan and the main noise went away. So, they took $75 cash, since it was an easy fix and not worth the entire $140 service call fee. Then within the hour, the sound came back. I called them and they came back to look at it. They took a look, then told the tenant that they couldn't fix it because they don't do hot air systems. They then left the house quicker than I could speak to them to discuss the money, or get a referral for someone who could actually fix our issue. So, now I totally feel ripped off and would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Save yourself my annoyance and just try someone else!!

I sent them a photo of my leaky sink on Saturday and they replied shortly after with an estimate of $290, for three replacement parts and the labor. I made an appointment for Monday at 9:30 a.m. but didn't realize that they were going to call to confirm. They called at 8:00 a.m. but I was sleeping and didn't hear the phone. After calling once more, they cancelled my appointment, which I discovered 45 minutes later when I woke up and checked my voice mail. That was the only stumble in an otherwise positive experience. I wish they had told me when I made the appointment that they would be calling 90 minutes before to confirm that I was home. Fortunately they were able to schedule me for a 3:00 p.m. appointment the same day. Manny the plumber came on time and fixed the problem in about an hour. He had to use a pipe cutter and replace the three parts. The bill was exactly as estimated: $290. Plumbing repair isn't cheap in NYC and, while I don't have a frame of reference (this is only the second time I have called a plumber), this seems a fair price or at least the going rate for plumbers. The parts were $120 and so I assume the labor was $170. They e-mailed me a receipt while I waited. Manny was very polite and did a good job. He explained that the pipes just wear out, it was nothing particular that I did to my sink, they just don't typically last more than 5 years. I guess they don't make pipes like they used to because I grew up in an old farmhouse and those pipes, from the early 20th century, were never replaced and never leaked. But looking at the thin rusted-out pipes that he took out, I am not surprised they don't last longer. Anyway, the service was fast and courteous, the price was fair, and it's good to have a reliable plumber for future problems. Highly recommended.

Juan was really responsive when it came to giving me a price and coming to fix my issue initially. He said he guarantees the fix and if there's any issue to let him know. Well .. the issue wasn't fixed and guess who decided to stop answering their phone.

Have been using Joe for a number of years now and have always found him to be more than fair and honest - and lead times for appointments has been reasonable.  Excellent communication.  Also nice to see that Joe and crew are wearing masks during this time of COVID.  I don't remember how I found him but I'm glad I did and I haven't hesitated to recommend him to others.  Joe has installed faucets, repaired toilets and also repaired my boiler and I will continue to use him in the future.  Just a good guy.  Rare these days.

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. As an added bonus we needed new fixtures and John helped us find the best (and tasteful, fashionable desiegn) kind and stay within our budget. We won't hesitate to call Plumber NYC again.

Pete's Plumbing is, hands down, the best in the area! He's professional, he's quick to schedule you and he puts your mind at ease! Nothing is worse than being surprised by an unexpected leak or a backed up tub, but Pete responds quickly and calmly and explains the potential issues in a way you can understand! I Highly recommend this Company. Zach is really responsive to any communication semd his way. After couple text message we set up a date and time. The day of the sheduled work his crew showed up in time and where easy to work with. They left the place clean and organized and all the work was done in the timeframe zach gave us... My family has been using Frank for almost a decade. He has done almost every installation or repair possible for us...and some very complex jobs. He always provides outstanding quality, quick turnaround, fair prices, available at short notice, and always with a smile. Do not hesitate to hire him. My only regret on posting this review is now I can't monopolize his services.

Carmine is the best guy out there. He replaced our boiler with a beautiful new model last year. Best price on the market. He was fast, friendly and honest. He follows up and offers specials to his existing clients. Also- this other company charged a big fee just to visit and look at the old boiler and gave a ridiculously high estimate.  Carmine didnt charge any weird fees and he gave such a great price. As much as I want to keep him for myself, I recommend him highly.

I just bought a new rental property that needed some major work done.  George was the 3rd plumber I had called to get a bid.  I had a very tight timeline due to the building inspector coming out to inspect some work done on the property, and I needed him to repair a mickey mouse job done by the previous seller.  He was able to strap 4 water heaters, redo all the piping underneath 4 kitchen sinks, replace a tub spout that did not work, as well as a kitchen faucet that was not working.  He was able to fix all these things at a much more reasonable price that the previous bids on a much faster timeline that previously quoted.  I don't know whether the other plumbers were trying to overcharge me because I was a woman.

He came back a few days later to help me replace 30 ft of the drain pipe underneath the house that was also poorly constructed by the previous owner.  He showed me all the old pipes, explained and showed me what work had been done to give me piece of mind that everything was done properly.  He did not try to sell me on extras, and he even made suggestions that actually saved me a little money.  

He was on time, had great communication, very fair pricing (not the highest or the lowest), and great work ethic.  I would definitely recommend him, and will be using him for my next project.

Rolando (the Owner) was very responsive. Came the next day and fixed various plumbing needs I had in the house.  His price was decent too.

I used Martin Plumbing for the first time and had a great experience.  I found the plumber, Nuquay, very nice and it was clear he knew his trade. Like most contractors they will give you a 2 or 3 hour range for when they will arrive.  I asked them to call in advance so I had enough time to get home and they did that which was very helpful.  I feel like they are a very customer focused company which is great.  
Also I felt the company's pricing was fair.  Overall I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to my friends.

This was probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They were supposed to come to my apartment in the afternoon, but never showed up.  I called three times, and was assured someone was coming. I waited around for five plus hours and never received a call saying the appointment was cancelled. Finally, I called a fourth time and the office was closed.  Time to take my business elsewhere, I supposed.
