Great experience overall -- Ralph came over to my apartment on short-notice, and late in the day to help with a toilet that hadn't been working for a few days.  He fixed it quickly and also fixed the broken toilet seat, no extra charge.  Very friendly, helpful - and I highly recommend him!

I called in the morning, to set up an appointment for the sewer and other drains to be cleaned. Manny was able to set it up for later in the morning. What I liked is that I received emails along the way, like at one point he was a little delayed at another location, so my appointment was adjusted, just by an hour or so. As soon as Manny was done there, I received an email that he was on his way, and he still made it within the original time slot. There was one problem area, which he was able to tackle. He worked fast and cleaned everything out. Another upside; Manny is very nice and personable.
In addition, the pricing is very competitive compared to other big companies I had over in the building before. I will definitely have him back next year for another cleaning.

No show twice. First time thought it was miscommunication. Second time, upon request, provided full details over SMS and got no response of confirmation and no one came.

Joe and his guys  installed a hot water heater for me today. They showed up on time and completed the job within the time frame i needed. They are very professional and experienced technicians. They cleaned up whatever debris there was  and removed the old tank and all the packaging materials.  Joe stayed a little while after the job was completed to make sure that everything was functioning properly and he explained the settings on the heater to me.   His price was very fair for the job he did and he installed a good quality heater.  I've been around a long time and been in business myself for over 40 years and i pick up vibes from people.  Joe is a good guy and i believe he really cares about his customers satisfaction. I was able to sense these qualities when he came over to give me a work estimate and that's why i hired him. I highly recommend Joe the plumber for all your plumbing needs!  Al Biondi

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. As an added bonus we needed new fixtures and John helped us find the best (and tasteful, fashionable desiegn) kind and stay within our budget. We won't hesitate to call Plumber NYC again.

I just had a great experience with an exceptional and reasonable plumber...Pete. I can't recommend him more. I had a clogged main and he said he'd be there in 30 minutes and he was right on time! I am so glad I called Rishon Plumbing! My water heater recently started making a loud noise, then stopped working. George responded within the hour and instead of just sending someone over to have a look, he first asked me some basic questions and was able to diagnose the problem over the phone! It happened to be a simple issue to fix, so I was able to take care of it myself.  It is now working fine again. Amazing service and a trustworthy business. Thank you so much, George!!! Clear Flow is completely unprofessional and a total ripoff. I called them to work on my steam heating system, because my go-to plumber was out of town. I have a 2-family house and a few radiators were leaking or not working at all. They came in, flushed the system and told me the radiators were fixed. I'm actually not even sure if they flushed the system or did a simple bottom blowdown - a partial cleaning that I could have done myself. They also unnecessarily replaced two radiator vents that were brand new and had nothing to do with the issue. When my tenants came in they informed me that the radiators were still leaking and not working at all. They charged me over $600 and when I tried to contact them again to troubleshoot the issue they disregarded me. Every time I asked them to reschedule me they told me to call back on the following Monday to reschedule. Eventually I gave up, which is probably what they wanted, since they already got their money. The company was referred to me by someone else who has also discontinued their service due to incomplete jobs and unprofessional behavior.

Similar to another review, I was charged $400+ to swap out a kitchen faucet. Prior to booking the job, I asked for a price quote over the phone to which they said wasn't available (??). The two main determinants, from what I understand after a completed job, is whether I provided my own fixture or purchased theirs ($900+!!).

In the end, the swap took two guys 20 minutes. They were professional, but I felt like it was more of a sales pitch - upsell me to their supplied faucet using scare tactics of no warranty on my provided faucet, plus upsell to their service subscription.

In the end, I needed the faucet swapped in that moment and didn't have time to book another plumber and wait a week to find a less expensive option.

In the end, it's my fault for enabling the business to keep charging these rates and using the tactics. But, I feel strongly that there is a better way to conduct business transparently. Will lead to long term customers instead of one and done.

Not particularly competent. They have wrong information and were unable to identify obvious problems. Had a leak coming through the ceiling in the basement that was obviously coming from the upstairs bathroom. The plumber said he couldn't find any problems. I also asked about our basement flooding and he said it was overflow rain water from the city and there was nothing to do. I got a second opinion plumber who found the problem with the first floor bathroom and fixed the leak. He also figured out that our sewer pipe was broken and that was causing the basement flooding. I think martin can handle and easy job like snaking a drain, but if you require anything more complicated than that, don't use them. They are unable to diagnose or problem solve any issue that requires more than one step.

Had a leaky spigot in a bathtub that was making me drip, drip, drip crazy. Actually, it was more than a drip. Pini and Sons sent over two guys - older gentleman (one of the Pini brothers I think) and an assistant. They diagnosed the problem, said they needed a part from the shop and would be back in 10 minutes. They were back in... 10 minutes! Fixed the leak in another 10 and I wrote them a check. They were were nice, professional and good. They weren't cheap, but plumbing never is so I can't complain about their price which was competitive.
