Barone Plumbing was great.  Ralph showed up early to the appointment and handled my problem expertly.  He also took care of my personal items and left the bathroom very neat.  Highly recommended!!!

Manny is totally professional, provides A1 service and really fair pricing.  Totally trustworthy and  pleasure to call and refer to friends and colleagues alike  Manny went way out of his normal schedule to assist receiving my call on Friday nite and being here on Saturday morning.  He was also able to detect hidden problems and fixed all issues at a really great price where other vendors would have ripped me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. Pete showed up right on time and diagnosed the issue in less than five minutes. A couple minutes after that, the repair was already started and the price very reasonable. I am not rating them based on their work but rather on their lack of customer service. Tuesday 6/15 at 6:05 p.m. I sent a message that I would be available on Friday 6/18. Received a reply on Wednesday 6/16 asking for my address which I promptly sent. Also mentioned that my husband was home if someone wanted to go by. Reply was I will let you know. Never heard from him until I messaged him on Friday 6/18 at 9:40 a.m. I sent a message asking if someone was going to come by and if so please let me know approximately what time. The reply was give me a few and I will let you know (10:33 am.) At 12:35 sends a text telling me what it could run me xxx dollars.
I replied I wanted to make sure the company can do the work. He said when I was ready to do the work let him know. To which I responded that I want to have a conversation first to discuss the work involved, cost & timeline. He replied he was booked for that day but can stop by on the weekend or during the week after 4:30p.m. Said he was free Saturday & Sunday, weekdays after 4 pm. Asked if he could come by tomorrow, Sat. 6/19. At first I said after 12 then sent another message with 8-9 a.m. Reply was give me a few and I will let you know (standard response). He can do 2-3 pm.  Saturday 6/19 at 10:10 sends me a message that his guy will be at my house in about an hour. I said I wasn't home but will be by 1 and reminded him that agreed time was 2-3. At 11:27 I let him know I was home. His response he will be there as agreed. At 3:16 I asked for his ETA. At 4:51 he responded with his guy got stuck on a job but will come by on Monday but someone needs to be home all day.. Excuse me? I told him to forget it because he wasted my time. He wasn't the first nor the only plumber I contacted but he was the only one that wasted my time. Everyone else showed up when they scheduled or called/texted to say they were running late. The person texting I am assuming is Zach who should learn that you get more bees with honey than with vinegar.

We used Angelo to remodel our first floor bathroom.  The work was adequate, with a few notable exceptions.  We had to disconnect our washing machine in the basement for him to work on the bathroom.  He cut the lines to the washing machine and never reconnected them.  I told him about this when I made the final payment, and he said he come back and fix it, but never did.  I had to buy the parts and do the work myself.
He connected a shower in the basement to be used while the bathroom was being remodeled.  He made me buy the pump to evac the water from the shower, without giving me a model number.  I bought a pump from the supplier he recommended, and he epic failed on the install.  He used the wrong pipe size, did not use a drainage slope, set 90 degree pipes when the instructions clearly state that 45 degrees is the max, and used about 5 clamps and adapters instead of the one provided.  The result is that the kitchen sink drained into the shower stall, and the pump would never shut off because it was overtaxed.  
Also, the bathroom he set up is leaking into the basement.

In short, I had to fix half the stuff that he set up.  Do NOT ever call this guy.  He has no clue what he is doing, and will not come back to fix his mistakes.

My family has been using Frank for almost a decade. He has done almost every installation or repair possible for us...and some very complex jobs. He always provides outstanding quality, quick turnaround, fair prices, available at short notice, and always with a smile. Do not hesitate to hire him. My only regret on posting this review is now I can't monopolize his services.

I chose Primary Plumbing because of his great reviews, well he now has another one. I called Mr. Carmine and he asked me questions and for pictures of my furnace. He came the next day and cheked out my furnace and the number of radiators I had.I decided after his analysis that I needed a new furnace.He explained what the work entailed and gave me a detailed contract of the cost for the whole job. He started work the Oct. 6th and finished on the 7th,2020. In a day and a half, he dismantled and removed my large old furnace, collected and installed my new one,and cleaned up everything by himself. He checked and made sure all radiators were heating and I was satisfied. He left saying if any problems please call him. I do have more work to do and I certainly will be calling Mr. Carmine. I decided it was time to replace my 15 year old water heater after re-lighting the pilot before my morning shower became a common occurrence.  George responded within minutes to my quote  request sent through Yelp and they were available to replace my water heater that very same day, including a new enclosure. The work was professional and clean and I am happy with my new unit. This is definitely one of those instances where the Yelp reviews are spot on. I recommend them.

I just used Clear Flow and am sure I was being taken advantage of. The original quote was $550 plus tax to cap a pipe. After calling another reputable service I've used in Southern Jersey, I was told that was an unfair quote, and should have been closer to $250. After I mentioned that, Clear Flow brought the price down to $445. I still did not agree to the work however, because they hadn't even evaluated the entire situation.
Eventually (after starting the work without my approval) we came to an agreed price of $350 plus tax, but they requested CASH!?!? Come on. They started the work of capping the pipe and assured me it would not affect other appliances. Famous last words because once it was all complete, my stove didn't work! They did fix their problem without a fight...so that is good i guess. But when it came to payment they said they did not take credit cards although the Clear Flow website clearly states that.
I've lived in Jersey City for 10 years. I have yet to find reputable workers that are trustworthy and kind. I'll continue searching and post when they day comes.

We have used this service several times over the last couple of years and always been satisfied with the work done. The dispatcher who answered the phone was very helpful and accommodating. The last time we called to fix a clogged drain we realized at the last minute that we also needed a pop-up assembly installed. We called and were told that it wasn't a problem. They have always done a good job whenever we called them and the staff are very friendly.

very pricy $$$$.  during an existing call in my apartment I asked to have my bathroom sink faucet installed.  i provided the faucet and all the parts, and they were already at my place, the charge was $250.
