We are new to the area and one of the joys of home ownership is all the repairs that come with it.  Our water heater was leaking water all over and a quick call to Mike was all it took to get it fixed.  He came in on a Saturday, on time and was so fast in replacing the whole water heater I was stunned!!  He also took the old one and was so courteous and made us feel at ease.

My pool backflow preventer busted and Mike responded immediately to my call.  He gave me a quick diagnosis based on some pictures I texted him, then gave me a choice of times to come by and take a closer look. He showed up when he said he was going to, explained the problem clearly and showed me what happened, described my options, immediately went and got the part I needed, replaced it, and got the system back up and moving again. He was friendly and did great work and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Andrew, from Mr. Rooter, was awesome! It wasn't my property, but I manage the maintenance for it. He called the tenant beforehand, then called me when he arrived and told me the total price. After accepted, he immediately started working on it. We had the kitchen faucet leaking a bunch of water. After he finished, voilá! No more leaking. If you request services from Mr. Rooter, ask them to send Andrew.

The 4 stars are because I found it a bit pricey (almost $400), but the service was good, quick, and reliable.

Had a major water leak in the crawlspace in a 50's home. The water was a foot deep in crawlspace! First we got the water pumped out and let it dry out for 2 weeks. Longhorn Plumbing was available, showed up on time, and made the repair quickly. They also suggested we insulated the pipes on the exterior walls while they were there. They did all this work at reasonable costs and were very professional.
I highly recommend them and will use them again myself!

The proposal process was great. I just sent them a picture of the job side.
Joaquin came on time as agreed. Very professional, took any precaution you can think off to keep my our house clean and safe.
The job was done in no time. And the best part, they stayed within the original estimate. Great job, well done and very competitive pricing.

Performed multiple services to my satisfaction, but there were errors along the way that I feel would be avoided with more communication among crews and more training.

Replaced water softener (perfect service) and replaced two shower cartridges. Hot and cold water were left inverted, which I fixed by rotating the shower handles.
During softener installation, I found leak in the pressure reducing valve (PRV) next to water meter. Hired Sosa again and crew fixed, but stated that PRV were installed on wrong side (between meter and private shut-off: should be installed after shut-off).
Hired Sosa to replace PRV and install it after private shut-off. Crew first dug neighbor's pipe and luckily I alerted them on time before cutting neighbor's installation. Crew was going to install new PRV before private shut-off (the very goal of the service, to install the PRV after the private shut-off); I also alerted on time to fix position.

Again, these were errors that could have been avoided with more attention and communication. Nevertheless, services were completed, price is competitive and response is fast.

It's very rare for me to hire a contractor.  (only twice ever!)  
I have been thinking of installing irrigation for several years, but I just never actually did it.
I called Austex, and they installed a complete system for a very reasonable price.   I am a DIY enthusiast, and I like to be involved.  They didn't seem to mind at all!
They were very responsive while scheduling each of the appointments.
Most importantly, I am very thankful for the luxury of a 3 year warranty on parts and labor.  That's definitely NOT something that's included with a do-it-yourself installation ;)

Send me a text, show me the problem  Wow, this was after the guy David and I had a long talk about my water heater problem ... I asked him about price and it was out of my budget at this point, because of not knowing what was actually wrong with  the water heater . But clearly he was concerned about my situation so he said take picture of the leak and texted it to me and let me see if I can access and try to give you a more definitive price.
After a couple of photo texts  he accessed the situation and said barring that there is no other problems.... this would be the price $$ but if there's other issues after we get there then the price will go up to this $$. A young man by the name of Stephen  called shortly after I text  David and he said he was on his way and promptly showed up very courteous, respectful and professional and quoted me a price less than what was quoted earlier I was happy to pay what was quoted earlier but he said don't worry just do a Yelp he also informed me of another potential problem which at this time I couldn't take care of however I will be using them again in the future in about a month. I know I've only use them once and for short period of time but I do highly recommend them and will be recommending them to my friends.
What I liked about the conversation on the  phone: it was not standardize he did not talk to me like this was just business as usual he actually talk to me like I was a human on the other line if he were a doctor people would say he had a great bedside manner I'm just saying he wasn't trying to make a sale he was just being for real and honest. I guess it doesn't get any better than that.  -

They are very so friendly. Care about their customers. Always update info for you. John was the one who came help me do the drain cleaning service. He is nice, and helped me fix all of problems. Will keep using ET. Really glad that I found them from yelp.

Colony Home did a fantastic job on my house! John was a great communicator and he personally owned the job from start to finish. Everything was done on time, on budget, and with great workmanship. Don't let the small number of reviews here fool you, John may be somewhat new to Texas, but he's been a pro contractor for a long time!

When I originally found out that I had water damage in my house the part I was worried about the most was the restoration contractor. I've had an iffy past with contractors in Texas. However, from the very beginning John was honest and forthright about what he could do and how he did it which put my mind at ease and eventually led me to select Colony Home for my restoration.

He helped me walk through working with my insurance company (which turned out to be a significant part of the process), he provided clear and detailed statements of work, and he was always very clear in his communication. From start to finish John was hands on with the process and he always knew what was happening with my house every step of the way.

In the end his team did a great job on my house! Most of my 1st story floors needed to be replaced and it turned out perfect. He replaced a section of my kitchen cabinets and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. The old and new cabinets flow together in my kitchen and you can't even tell which is new and which is old, that's how good of a job he did. Finally, he was the only contractor that got the insurance company to provide for cleaning as part of his estimate which turned out to be a must with the flooring work we had to do. Because of that cleaning we had a nice home to walk into as soon as we were ready to move back into our house.

All in all, John made the experience almost effortless. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to do restoration work.

I had a sewage drain problem, and while Felix said that was beyond his expertise, he gave me a personal reference to another company to help me out, and it was all fixed within an hour!  THEN he called the next morning to make sure it all worked out!  While I couldn't use him this time, I hope that if I need plumbing help another time, that he's available to help me out again.  Very professional and works with what's best for the customer!

My service was declined with message I'm booked for this time. There was no time discussed or requested as this was an initial inquiry nor were there anymore responses as to when they might be available. J.N.S Landscapes will not be used for my needs.

This responsive plumbing company rescheduled their promised service for my 84 yr old mother-in-law FOUR times. After the fourth time I told her to cancel and they were RUDE to her over the phone.
And don't get me started on their horrible commercials.

After my grandparents were extorted by a previous plumber, it was nice to meet Sylvester and his son. Sylvester took his time and did an amazing job and even called to check in on my grandparents. After my grandparents were abused by a previous plumber Sylvester was like an angel. He charged us half the price of the previous plumber.

Their booklet was attached to my AC unit and they originally installed the whole system in my house. I called them to discuss that there is water on my filter drpping from the above whenever my system runs. Their technician came and looked at my unit...(literally JUST looked at the unit!!) and told me that everything is fine and there's nothing wrong with the system. He blew a few pipes with a cylinder in his hands and said that the system is good to go. I asked him multiple times that I would appreciate if he checks the Puron level but he said that puron is full without attaching any gauge or looking at anything. I was impressed by the fact that HE is experienced and professional who can just look at the system and tell whats wrong. I paid them $70 and he left. The same day, I noticed water on my filter again, I replaced the soaked filter with the newer one. I started to replace my filter with the dry one whenever i see water. After the week, water started to drip faster and that whole area was wet. I called them again and the technician came again to tell me that he would open the system to see If there's something wrong with the coil and I should expect something between $100-250 to pay.I think he should have been done that the first time he was here to diagnose the problem. I called another company which I am also going to review. their technician came, looked at the whole system, spent time in figuring out the puron level, put Puron into the unit and my system started to work perfectly fine. I knew that people in this industry would take advantage of the fact that Its hot in texas and people with small kids cant live a single day without AC unit working so they charge you whatever they want even if its as small as putting Puron. Not to mention the cleanup of the area that I had after that flow of water to be safe from Mold and Algae. Its HARD to Find honest people in this industry!!!!!!

Feel so taken advantage of.  Called a local company to snake out my kitchen sink.  The nice young man spent almost an hour looking at every piece of plumbing in the house, comes back with a quote of $1356 to fix all our problems.  Then when I asked how much for just the kitchen sink - $359.   I said no and was then charged $69 for the estimate.

First and last time I will ever call GC Plumbing.

Radiant has excellent customer service! They are always professional and on time. I'll definitely call them for any of my Plumbing or HVAC needs.
