Danny has been a tremendous help with our new place. I contacted a couple of other handymen before I found him and I had a lot of trouble just getting a call back from others. Danny was very responsive from the beginning and communication was always prompt. His skills as a handyman are also exemplary and we've been very happy with his work. Initially we asked him to do a demo of a wall in our garage and a built-in, but given his very good results, we added a lot more work for him and delivered on everything very well. We had him patch up stucco in several walls, paint, fix a patio wall, install a floorboard, fix loose ceiling light fixtures and probably more which I'm forgetting. He's on our speed dial now.

Our journeyman plumber, Brayan Mercado, was excellent. He explained what was happening with our inferior water pressure, correctly diagnosed the issue and repaired it in the same visit. He even gave me some helpful suggestions that I could do to further keep things in good shape. Brayan was very pleasant to work with and very capable! Thanks for such a good experience!

This was our first time dealing with the Greenshire Handyman service and will definitely use them again. AJ was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us on ensuring our projects would get completed as we expected. Additionally, he took the time to explain the entire scope of work and absolutely made sure we were happy with the final outcome. He even touched up some items that needed some attention. The customer service was pleasant and attentive to leaving our home as clean as possible. Great to have this business be local to us and will definitely use them again!

Came out when he said he would, was right on time.  Professional and courteous gentleman.  Helped us get our water system back on line after some serious freeze damage from URI 2021.  He knows how to fix stuff.  We would use his services again if needed.

Rest assured. This plumbing company has everything you want. The wife answers the phone on the first ring. She schedules you for service promptly. She gives you a 2-hour window in which the plumbers will come. They show up on time. They fix the problem. They do not leave a mess at all. The fees are very reasonable. If only all plumbing companies were like this one!  They have my gold seal of excellence. 100%.

Our water heater went out and we needed a replacement fast. Gabe was the first to reach out and offered to replace our unit the same day. His quote was very affordable compared with others that we received. His work is high quality and he made adjustments so if there is a need in the future repairs will be easier to perform. I highly recommend Gabe, and we now have a new plumber!

Gold Star Leak and Repair is a scam. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on a phoney leak detection. The technicians don't have the right equipment and Gold Star is incapable of producing a report of findings that is actionable for any repair. You will then find that they don't response to texts, emails and phone calls after they have your money. They are basically committing fraud by positioning themselves as a pool leak detection and repair company.

I needed some my modifications done to my home propane gas lines.  My propane company suggested Ken Dixon.  I called for an appointment and was given a time.  The plumber arrived on time.  He was masked and was careful to maintain social distance.  He was professional and courteous.  I was unsure about the modification I wanted so I asked his opinion and he offered me a simple but effective solution.  He and his helper completed the job in less than 30 minutes and it looked great and worked exactly as I wanted.  The price was about half what I expected to pay.  To be honest, I don't know how a company could have performed any better.

When you know you can make a couple hundred thousand plus dollar purchase decision based on the information that someone provides in verification of another experts input, it's safe to say that you trust their expertise and know how. Such was the position my wife and I were in not long ago. Mr. Kevin Chambliss is someone I feel like I can trust, though we've only met four times. His integrity is something very important to him, and that becomes very clear when you interact with him for even a short amount of time. He also recruits individuals of a similar belief system, if caliber and quality of work are any indications. For me, personally, integrity matters a great deal when I'm dealing with a vendor, and because of that, Chambliss Plumbing now has a life long customer.

Recently, my wife and I were able to seek out Chambliss Plumbing again for some plumbing issues that we wanted addressed immediately following the purchase of our home.  The price was more than reasonable but also commensurate with product and work quality. The best part is, we knew upfront what we'd be paying for, and were able to plan accordingly.  Additionally, because of that, we're able to plan for some 'nice to have's' that we had in mind for the future, as well.

The explanation of the work and products involved exceeded expectations, and the peace of mind that the job was done right is hard to beat. I had two technicians from Superior Irrigation come out to fix my sprinkler system.  I had contacted other companies and one did't respond and the second didn't show up as promised.  The team from Superior Irrigation & Lawn, Manual and Juan, arrived as promised, analyzed the problem, communicated to me the solution and had my sprinklers up and running in no time flat.  I would highly recommend this company as I will in our Garden Ridge community chat.

Mike responded within a few hours and was able to come out the next day to fix a leak in a pipe that was getting pushed up by some roots.  He was fair in his price.  He is a third generation plumber and knows what he is doing.

But it wouldn't let me post unless I checked one star.  At the beginning they sounded very helpful.  That was just to get you from looking elsewhere.  So they put you on the schedule for a technician to go out and look at the problem.  Them we will contact main office and see if we have part in stock.  Two days later, no news.  I call and email and don't get a reply until the following day.  Till this day no answer, no follow up.  This was from February 22,2021.  I understand your busy, especially with the latest crazy weather.  But don't take in jobs that you can't follow up with.  A simple email stating you haven't forgotten about me would be nice. Especially in a time of crisis is when you need to step it up with your service.

SCAM ALERT This company is a complete waste of time! I'm not sure how they have not been removed from AHS​ after reading the reviews, I'm currently in the same situation as many other people on here. Had them respond to the first appointment to look at it and said they would return the following day or next and never did. It is almost a month later with several canceled appointments or no shows. Everytime we've had to reach out to them just for them to promise a date and time and them not show up and stop responding. Stay away at all cost and save yourself the hassle and money. Scamming company at its finest, sucks to know many others have delt with the same issue and to know they are still allowed to do this. Wish there was a way to get this company shut down.

avoid l&m at all costs and tell everyone to do the same. i can say, without a doubt, that was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. never in my life have i worked with a team so completely unprofessional, no consideration for the customer, constantly shifting blame to the customer and the worst work ethic (or lack thereof rather) ever.

* lucy lies #1 and 2: work would take 2-3 weeks and that her workers would be sensitive to the fact that someone was living in the house while work was being done.
* lucy lie #3: saying i don't get the final check until you are satisfied twice to which we nodded and replied, okay.
* lucy lie #4: she listed the projects spread out over 3 phases showing work to be completed in 2 weeks (we BOTH have this written out).
* painting needed to be completed BEFORE carpet was put in, so the carpet installation had to be pushed back due to painting taking longer than expected.
* the day of carpet installation was a state holiday, so we were home. the painters arrived at 9am to finish up painting before carpet installer arrived at 10am. we pointed out all area of concern re: paint. they agreed that work needed to be done and seem to be rushing to complete it before carpet installation.
* although carpet was installed, we continued to see areas of concern re: the painting.
* on a DAILY basis, we marked areas of concern with blue painter's tape per lucy's instruction. this continued until the beginning of week 3 at which time lucy asked us to stop placing tape on the walls because it was taking off the paint. i then texted her photos of the areas of concern instead. that day, our blue painter's tape disappeared.
* areas of concern continued to be ignored, so i chose to work from home to PHYSICALLY point out areas of concern.
* lucy lie #5: she said the painters said they had been working at our house every day. i told her i worked from home 2 days and they in fact had not worked at all one of those days. her reply was, oh.
* horrible work ethic example: i'd estimate around 40-50% of the painter's time was spent on the phone; working 2.5 hours was considered a full day; the painter sent his WIFE and DAUGHTER to finish other painting tasks.
* i have photos of an exacto blade on the kitchen table; fast food cups left around the house; nails all over the floor of the garage (which we have to enter multiple times daily since it's been serving as our storage area and we've had to live out of boxes this entire time while they work); photos showing work areas ignore time and time again; the instance in which they placed 50-60 pounds of wooden and metal bunk bed parts against 2 pieces of art worth over $200,00 (this was another horrible story).
* in our countless walk-throughs, lucy never took notes. her replies would be verbal affirmations of uh huh. okay. yes. right. etc.
* lucy lie #6: when it came to painting the doors, the painters only painted the outside panel of the door; not the inside. i confirmed with lucy that they were in fact supposed to paint both sides of every door. she confirmed yes stating she'd let them know. when i asked the painter if lucy had told them they were to paint both sides of the doors, they replied no. we were just supposed to paint the outside. for confirmation i asked again. the painter replied that lucy had not told him to paint both sides. i told him what lucy had told us, to which he replied okay.
* after the first day of painting, i witnessed the painter's son place the shower curtain rod back on the wall that had been primed that day. i assumed there was some painting-professional reason for this and i didn't not question it as it's not my area of expertise. the next day, i saw that the curtain rod remained on the wall and they painted around it. i then removed the rod so that they could paint the entire area.
* lucy lie #7: she said they would remove switch plates and tape over hinges before painting. switch plates were not removed, but instead, being painted on around the edges. i then decided to remove the switch plates.
* lucy lie #8: she said window treatment hardware would be removed from the walls before painting began. i saw they were not removed before painting began, so we removed them from the entire house
* at one point they filled our trash and recycle bins completely leaving no room for us to dispose of our trash and recyclables.

Needed to replace the drain line from house to sewer; they used shovels to dig up the old and dig a new trench instead of power equipment. Took days, works adequate but the bill was padded to cover three people who worked less than 3 hours. 30% more than the bill should have been. Will not use again. Left some areas needing further attention after completing the plumbing work. Decent work but will gouge you with the bill. Not a good neighborhood business to call on.
