Best Plumbing Services in United States
Cody's late dad would be proud of how his son is running Larry's Septic Service. I'm guessing it was Cody's wife who answered the phone almost immediately when I called one morning. She gave me the best estimate AND the earliest opening I found in the four places I called. When torrential rains appeared in the forecast for our pumping date, Cody called to reschedule for a few days later but said that if the rains cleared up early he would call to sneak us in. Sure enough, the rain did clear up early and he did call to see if we were available! Cody called before arriving to make sure we'd be there and though my husband swore he would be, of course my husband was running late. Cody had no hint of annoyance in his voice when he arrived to an empty house and called me to check in...though he sure would have been completely justified in being annoyed. My husband, being a man of few words, even told me later, He (Cody) was a really nice guy. I'm so glad we gave him our business. So many times in life you have to wonder if the next person is trying to screw you over...I get nothing but honest, hard-working, does-what-he-says-he's-going-to-do kind of vibes from Cody at Larry's Septic. At the risk of sounding like a crack-pot, I have a very strong feeling Cody's late dad Larry IS watching from the other side and IS very proud.

I want to thank Jacob, who saved me $$ and time, and also did wonderful things for my self confidence as a craftsman.
So, I am an aspiring handyman whose ambition at times outruns my ability.
I wanted to install a recirculating pump to save water, as it used to take a long time to get hot water at our master bathroom shower and sinks. I carefully followed all directions in the water heater owner's manual and the pump, and was able to eventually install the pump so it looks like in the pictures (albeit after many grunts, groans, lots of sweating, and mild cursing). It seems the older I get the less able I am to work under my sink!
Next, I went back to the water heater to turn it on. I again followed all the instructions on the owner's manual, but the pilot light wouldn't light. I tried it several times, and had give up hope of getting it lit without replacing parts. I even looked at videos on how to replace the igniter. Not too terribly difficult, but I've been there before. I'm superb at taking things apart, but not so good at putting them back together.
I finally decided I needed professional help, and looked on Yelp. Immediately, I got a response from Jacob, who talked me thru the procedure, verifying I had done everything right. It was tough, as we had a bad connection, and he was in the middle of a job. He offered to call me right back; while waiting, I went back to my heater, but kept the lights off so I could see the inside the igniter window. This time, I was able to see the spark, and even got the pilot to light briefly, though it shut off again. Right about then, Jacob got back to me, and helped me troubleshoot.
We went through the steps together, and this time the pilot stayed lit, and when I turned the thermostat on the heater, we got the big flame and whoosh, and not it's working just fine.
Thank you Jacob. You helped me repair my water heater from miles away, avoiding a trouble call from you (and $$), and avoided me trying to replace a part that was working just fine. In today's world, where so often people are less than honest, it's refreshing to find someone like you. Thank you.

I was really happy with Kimco Plumbing. They answered their phone, showed up to the job on time, they offered me 2 solutions to my problem and had the correct parts stocked on the truck and finished the job in a timely manor. Plus their price was fair. David was the plumber that helped us, he was knowledgeable professional and skilled. I would highly recommend this company!

This review is long overdue. I have called on Mickey more than once to help me fix some plumbing issues. Let's start with the back story that led me to call Mickey:
I reside in a home that was built in 2003 (so its not old but its not new). I am the second owner of this home and the previous owners left many of the builder grade facets in the home when I purchased it. There is nothing wrong with that BUT just like anything else after 15 years upgrades need to be done to meet new codes and for esthetic and efficiency purposes.
Round One:
2019- I phoned Mickey because it was taking FOR-EV-ER (said in the Sandlot tone) for my hot water in my master bathroom to heat. I had to run my shower for several minutes before it even got warm. What I discovered was that I may need a circulation pump installed. This is because the distance hot water needs to travel is the reason cold water comes out of a shower/sink first. When the faucet is on, hot water is drawn to the sink through your plumbing. Turning it off stops the water but doesn't return it to the water heater. It stays in the pipes and gets cold. The more piping between the water heater and the faucet, the more cold water there is and the longer it takes to get that hot shower water that I needed. My hot water heater like most folks is in the garage and my master bath is all the way on the opposite side of my home (for reference my home is about 2,600 sq. feet but the water heater is outside of the house in the garage, so... add another 355 sq. feet to the 2,600 to account for the garage space) so the water has to travel a bit to get to my shower and get hot). Accordingly, Mickey put in a recirculating pump in for me.
Round Two:
Fast forward to 2020, I redid my second bathroom because (a) it was outdated (b) I needed to change the shower tub combo to make it a stand up shower to accommodate my house guest for whom the tub is a problem and (c) I required something easier to clean than the current set-up, which was back breaking labor --bending and scrubbing the low profile bathroom tub.
Mickey and his team removed my toilet and vanity and moved the drain in the bathroom and piping to accommodate a stand-up shower. The team then put my toilet and new vanity in as well as replaced my broken closet flange. But wait there's more (said in my infomercial voice)...there was an issue with my hot water AGAIN. Mickey and his crew were able to deduce that the thermostat element on my hot water heater was broken.
Mickey and his crew have not only taken care of my issues but have educated me on common household plumbing issues. This crew has done great work for me and are honest, trustworthy and reasonably priced.

David from Make It Drain made a frustrating experience with my Home Warranty company so much smoother. He walked me through the process that my warranty claim would require and patiently worked with the warranty company to get my claim covered (he is a much more patient person than me). He came back to my house multiple times without complaint (as the warranty process is not a quick one) and ultimately replaced my toilet with a brand new one. Great guy - thanks, David!
Also, how awesome is the name Make It Drain?!

I am so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail on the installation of my storm door. Extremely professional and bar none the best phone call I've made for service in MANY years. I will always recommend this company and will continue to use them for years! Polite, reliable, professional - can't beat that.

Our sewer lateral was backed up and Harry from this company was able to come over within a few hours after my call. The issue was promptly fixed at a reasonable price and Harry took the time to walk me through the options should it happen again, which I appreciated. These guys will be my first call for plumbing needs from now on.

I have been using Scott for about 15 years and my parents have used him longer and my grandmother even used him. He is VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Extremely honest and ethical. I trust him completely and he does a good job. If he can't do it, he will tell you and give you referals.

Clean, professional, and on time service. Extremely knowledgeable, and fair prices for level of expertise. Will be using as my go-to plumbing company from here on out, and will recommend to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Reggie installed a water heater in May of 2020. In December 2021, the water heater stopped heating. The pilot wouldn't stay light. I reached out to Reggie. He was unable to come take a look. I called another plumber and when they came out, they told me the water heater was not installed up to code. The clearance of the gas control valve from the door supposed to be 1, there is no pan drain, the t & p goes up hill, vent in attic was disconnected and leaking carbon monoxide into the attic. I informed Reggie of these things and his response was his warranty is for one year. I don't understand.. what does a warranty have to do with it being improperly installed? He's supposed to be a professional plumber, shouldn't he be installing per code and safety. Thankfully no one was harmed because of his unsafe installation. I may escalate this to licensing because of his response to the issues brought to light. It should have been installed properly and I shouldn't have to pay someone else to fix these issues that I already paid Reggie for. He seems uninterested in making this right.

I hired Bruce Gault of Affordable Plumbing to have all of my plumbing replaced in my 900 sqft cottage.
He completely ignored the schematic, putting the kitchen pipes in the wrong place so I couldn't install my cabinets. When I contacted him, he said that he didn't even look at the schematic and charged me and additional $210 to move one water line two inches over so that my cabinet would fit. When I called for the final inspection (which he didn't even show up for), I had six fails on his plumbing. He wanted to charge me again to fix his errors, after already paying him over $4800 for my 2x1 cottage. Seriously, he wanted to charge additional to bring his plumbing up to code. The quality of his work is phenomenally poor. Mind you, this was a complete renovation and he worked from the studs, no drywall or obstacles. I hired another plumber to come in and fix his mistakes. This is absolutely the worst contractor I have ever worked with. The pictures of my project are AFTER he completed the job. BEWARE

I typically avoid writing bad reviews. But I just have to throw this out there...If you have any sort of problem that requires immediate attention, or attention that you scheduled, find another provider. I took two days off work waiting for these people to show up. Figured we'd be safe going with a national chain, I was sorely mistaken. Back to Thumbtack we go!

Had a pipe burst on a Tuesday during the great winter storm of 2021. All plumbers in the area were overwhelmed and Steve's Plumbing was the first to call me back and set up a time for repair when it was safe to be on the roads. Will arrived within 10 minutes and calling and quickly diagnosed the problem. Had the pipe repaired within the hour and cleaned up afterwards.

Eddie came out on a few hours notice. Called before showing up on time to my duplex. Fixed the problem and then told me all else needed to be fixed. I can do most of my repairs and he didn't mind going through everything and letting me know over the phone what needed to be done without making me feel he had to fix it now. But, I would of had him fix the extra work but felt like it was over priced for the extra work. Now I'll go fix it myself but did appreciate the suggestions and letting me know what does need to be done to prevent another problem.
Price good for a emergency type of situation. He did come out the same day.
Operator that answered the phone was great and found out all the info for me that I needed to get and appointment same day and called me right back with a time line after talking to the plumber to make sure he could make it out same day. Give them a try if you need a plumber.
