My wife and I felt very threatened when Mike came to fix my clock toilet. He smelled like alcohol and was visibly agitated and often raised his voice and talk down to me like I was stupid. When I hired a different plumber to redo Mike's work, he showed me all the lazy bones shortcuts that Mike took repairing my pipes.

Doug's Plumbing has worked on many plumbing jobs in my home. I appreciate the five star quality of their work but also the fair pricing and professionalism. I highly recommend Doug's Plumbing Co.

Unfortunately my review is not a positive one.  I called Tony this morning after being referred to him by another plumber.  He was supposed to show up between 11 and 1 but did not.  I had to call him to find out why he never showed up.  He said he was so busy he had lost track of time.  He arrived at 2pm with equipment that did not work.  (Electric snake, for which he apparently has to order a part.)  So now, on a Friday afternoon, we have to find someone else.  Guess we'll be making more than One Call.  He did not charge us, which I appreciate, but we will not be calling him again.

I called Alamo because we had just moved into a 1966 ranch house in San Antonio which had a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink. We wanted to change out the filters and possibly the membrane because we didn't know when they were last changed. Our technician was scheduled and called to say she had been delayed at the previous job but gave a new ETA. When she pulled the filtration unit out from under the sink, she discovered that we had a slow water leak from the RO faucet and black mold growing on the floors of the cupboards. She emptied the holding tank and turned off the cold water to stop the leak. Very helpful and very knowledgable. Will definitely use them again.

In November my hot water heater failed and these guys were quick to come out and replace it. December it was my HVAC system. They replaced it, fixed the duct work and cleared out my vents--and helped me arrange financing. In both instances, the workmen were courteous, thorough and quick to get the work done. And the prices were competitive.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

We used CP Plumbing and everything went real well.   The technician that came out was professional, nice, identified the problem with both toilets and was in and out in about an hour and half.  We will use their services again if we need to.

This was our first time to have to hire a plumber and 1st plumbing came highly recommended by a friend.  The experience was great from the initial phone call to set up an appointment to the end.  Jennifer was excellent on the phone and I was very impressed with her professionalism. Jeremy came out and was very friendly and did a perfect job.  He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.  He came for a toilet issue and after he fixed that he showed me how to take off my tub stopper (I promise it is a tricky one) and cleaned out the drain full of hair at no extra charge.  He went above and beyond and he was so nice and professional.  I would highly recommend them.  Their prices are extremely reasonable especially for the level of customer service they provided.

I needed someone to go look at my rental property ASAP. Tenant said there was a leak etc. I messaged 5 businesses with info etc. Clear and present plumbing was the only one who could get to the house within a week, actually the next day!! I let him know I was the landlord so I needed the info ahead of starting work. He gave me a quote right away and then the next day he showed up on time, let me know what was wrong, completed for less, and I paid online. Will definitely use again

We had a foundation leak. I called John because our kids played baseball together. He came out that day and completely over charged us for the work he did. What irritates me the most of that he lead me to believe insurance would cover most of the work done, which they do not and he knew that. They do not display pricing anywhere. The worst part of the whole experience is the restoration company that he tried to bring with him but I wanted to wait for insurance. I ended up using the company since I thought i thought I could trust John. They ended up being shady crooks!!

My wife and I did a remodel on two of our bathrooms, which included all new tile, a new vanity, new fixtures and we also had some new lights installed in our kitchen. We had a very good experience working with GIS and our project was completed to our full satisfaction. Ann, Tony, Marc and the team were very responsive and even did a thorough walk through after the completion of the job to make sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely recommend GIS to anyone looking to do any home improvement.

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.

The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...
