I grew up in the Plumbing Business! My Dad was a plumber from the time I was 1 yr old and he later worked for many years as a plumber and Branch manager for a well known company before opening up his own plumbing business. I have been helping him as far back as I can remember.
I count my years of experience from the age of 8. It was then that I remember installing my first faucet and soldering an actual fitting that was used for a customer, under my Dad's supervision.
I started my career in the plumbing industry in 2005 with Roto Rooter Plumbing and in 2009 decided to join my dad in our own plumbing Company. I specialize in all areas of plumbing including commercial, residential, and service.

Update 3/3/23: Shortly after writing some reviews Jessica reached out to touch base with me about what had happened. There was a misunderstanding and they sent out the wrong tech. They refunded the charge and were very proactive about it. I appreciate that she reached out so quickly and got it taken care of. They've earned a star back from me as a result. I hate giving reviews that are less than 4 stars but I'm honestly not happy and feel I need to be honest about my experience.
I reached out to these folks for a quote for a repair I already knew I needed since they had such good reviews. I like to get at least three quotes for any work being done on my house. They were super responsive which was great and they were able to get out to see me within the week which was fine as the unit is running, just needs a part replaced before summer comes rolling through. So I set up a time to get a quote and the techs arrived on time and were great. I told them I just needed a quote for the part I need replaced which is also what I told the person I spoke to via the Yelp quote system. Things went a bit downhill from there. The tech didn't seem to know that they weren't here to do a service and I wound up spending money for something I didn't need.
I wasn't told there would be a charge to get a quote for something that I already knew was wrong. They did diagnostics which I didn't need because, again, I already knew what was wrong. They also quoted me for the whole system and not for the part that's needed. Two other companies have already been out to look at it and I don't need an almost $6k replacement unit, just the controller needs to be replaced. The unit isn't going to blow hot air out of the top when it's only 54 degrees outside... That doesn't mean I need a whole new unit, it just means it's too cold for the a/c to be running. I mean come on. I'm not replacing a unit that's running just fine with the exception of one failing part. The unit isn't even 7 years old.
The techs were nice, punctual, and I liked them but I was caught off guard by the fact that I was being charged for what should have just been a simple quote. I didn't need diagnostics, just a quote for a part being replaced. If I had been told ahead of time that I was going to be charged for diagnostics and a quote for a whole system replacement that I don't need I wouldn't have had them out.
I've been trying to get a problem with imbalanced distribution of air in my HVAC system solved. I had one company out who said I needed *at minimum* new ducting and more cold air returns. They ballparked the job at $3000 but wanted $500 to give me an actual estimate (applicable to the job if I accepted). I said no thanks!
I had HFPA out to do routine service on my heat pump yesterday and asked them to have a look. They sent out a senior technician today. He said $700 worth of dampers would solve the problem and gave me the estimate on the spot. I haven't seen the outcome of the work yet, but at least I know they're not trying to take me for a ride!
Jerry was able to come out the very next day (on a Saturday) after my husband had looked up several places to help us with one of our toilets. Hansen Family contacted us right away on Yelp and we had an appointment scheduled the very next day. Jerry was knowledgeable and even showed my husband exactly where the issue was and how to fix it. In the end we decided to have him install a completely new toilet as the price difference just made more sense (19 year old toilet). That was purely our choice and he did not pressure us into this at all which we appreciated. Overall he did a great job, was thorough and checked everything to make sure no leaks were happening. Definitely will be having Jerry come out again for any and all plumbing issues.

Called Hansen Family Plumbing because we thought we had broken or leaking pipes in our master bath sink...found standing water in cabinets underneath the sink, in the drawers and all over the floor. Could not see where the water was coming from so we were worried it was behind the walls :( Hansen sent Jerry out - HE WAS GREAT! Not even going to go into detail (too embarrassing) but we had no leaks or broken pipes. Jerry refused to charge me anything - not even a service call charge!!!! WE WILL DEF USE HANSEN FAMILY PLUMBING AGAIN! Now on speed dial!! Great service...from the initial call with Brittany to the texts about ETA that displayed pic of Jerry and his background info!! Who does that?? It was great!

The representative was very good, as was the repairman. My only grip was I was quoted and agreed on the price. Then the day of the job, the same repair guy informed me of a possible additional $300 add. I was NOT happy with the mention of adding to a quote you gave. However, we agreed to keep original quote.

Background: I had three plumbers give me estimates for the work - Hansen Family being the last. The first two plumbers, unsure of what cartridge was used in my system, were convinced it was a valve issue. I received multi-thousand dollar quotes for a valve replacement leaving me with drywall that had to be repaired at an additional expense. They assured me it wasn't a cartridge issue. Mark, from Hansen, came in and said, That's a Price Pfister. It takes cartridge #xxxx. He also said, after I showed him the issue, It's definitely the cartridge - I wouldn't charge you for something you don't need. He gave me a quote, which included the installation, that I was shocked over (way less than the other quotes). Mark ran, got the part, installed the new cartridge, and was on his way.
Mark/Hansen could have easily gone the valve quote route - I told them what the other plumbers had said. He/they didn't. They were honest. They did a great job. How incredibly refreshing it is to find honest people that do great work.

Our water heater went out and I searched for reliable plumbers that could help with this. Hansen Family Plumbing sent out Robert and he was on time and they had communication by email and text that the technician was on his way. This helps because I don't do well with time windows and have to find others to be at my home while the technician comes. Well Robert came and he explained the situation and was able to see if the part was under warranty. He was able to get the part under warranty, except the diagnostic and labor was not. Which was ok with me because Robert saved us money in the end. Thankful for hot water and will definitely recommend Hansen Family Plumbing to others.
What an amazing company! The plumber, Anthony, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I've used Hansen for years with no problem, but this terrible recent experience has lost me as a customer.
I contacted them a couple months ago about an upstairs bathroom that had a leak. Preston came out and discovered the drain in our walk-in shower was leaking, and that he would have to tear out the entire shower and replace it in order to fix the leak. He said it would be cheaper to install a tub+surround instead of a new shower, and sent me an estimate for around $3900. I wasn't expecting such a costly repair, so did not schedule the work to be done right away.
Last week I finally reach out to Hansen again about scheduling the work. Due to the time that passed since the original estimate, Preston had to come out for a new estimate. This time he tells me a walk-in shower would definitely be less expensive than a tub (contrary to what he said previously). We preferred a walk-in shower anyway, so this was welcome news. I made it clear we wanted basically the same type of shower we currently have with a sliding door. He said it would be no problem, and that it would cost... $3900. The same as the previous quote for a tub instead of a shower, though a shower was supposed to be cheaper. Red flag. But I told him let's move forward.
He said he would go to Home Depot after his last job of the day and call us to show us options for showers he could install. He never called us.
I called the office the next day (Friday of last week) and said we were still waiting for a call from Preston. They reached out to him and he called me toward the end of the day. He said he already picked up a shower to install the following Monday (without showing us any options). He also said the shower would not have a door because ever since Covid they don't make shower kits with doors. That was a flat out lie. I told him to not bother coming to our home again. I can't stand being lied to.
I called Hansen's office and vented to the office worker, who said she would have the office manager call. Here we are almost a week later, and no one has called.
Despite not having issues with any of their previous work or technicians, clearly this terrible experience was enough to make me never want to do business with them again. Perhaps it's best to only use them for basic sink and toilet work, but either way, Preston lied to me on more than one occasion. Just not okay.

I couldn't be happier with the service that was provided throughout the entire process. I called on a Saturday to have someone take a look at a number leaks I discovered the night before. Jerry came out on the same day. He was very kind. I told him he was the first person to come out and I wanted to have others take a look at it too. He was very understanding and even tightened something to temporarily make the leaking stop. He was the only one that could come out on Saturday. Everyone else I had to set up time for the upcoming Monday. Turned out that the price Jerry provided was around the same price range but on the lower end. I decided to move forward with the work and it was beyond my expectations. I thought I would only get one of the three things fixed but he fixed all three and I got a discount! He was quick and everything looked great. I'm so happy. Thank you, thank you so much for helping me.

We had an unexpected leak, and of course it happened on a Saturday. Called for an appointment and was told a technician would be out between 9 and 11 am. Prompt at 10:25 he arrived. To make a long story short, the issue was diagnosed and since the leak was caused by my upstairs neighbor, there was NO charge! JERRY was 100% professional and very pleasant to work with. Good to know that there are still ethical companies.

I've hired HFPA twice to help with a bathroom water damage recovery. My technician for both jobs was Jerry H. The first visit was to replace a broken toilet flange, the second to replace a broken drain trap; move a few bathroom supply valves; and install a bathtub.
Toilet Flange: I took a few bids for the toilet flange. Jerry's was neither the highest nor the lowest, but Jerry instilled the highest confidence of the lot. He did not talk over me--a technique unscrupulous technicians use to up sell the difficulty of a job--nor did he dumb it down. Appreciatively, Jerry was straightforward, and did not try to sell me something I did not need--one plumber went as far as suggesting we replace all of the cast iron in the house. Bye Felicia. The flange repair went without a hitch; Jerry was done in just under two hours.
Bathtub: When it was time to install the bathtub there was no point in calling any other plumber. I called Hansen and asked for Jerry. That's how it's supposed to work, right? Do a good job at a fair price and you've locked in a customer. Jerry explained everything he needed to do without inflating the job or dumbing it down. Again, straightforward. He replaced the tub's trap, installed the tub, and extended the copper for the tub spout about 8 inches or so. He moved a few supply lines a couple of inches to accommodate the douchey sink and toilet I bought--pretty but not so easy to install--and gave me some tips on how to install the devices once I close up the walls. During his seven hours Jerry was friendly without being obtrusive--my spouse works from home and had meetings all day--but he was not creepily quiet, either. I had a few add-ons which he quoted before we started, so when the bill came there were no surprises. Hansen even honored my military service with a 5% discount.
I recommend Hansen as one of the few companies from my initial round of bids that bothers to answers their phone--even on the week-end--and responds almost instantaneously to email. This seems like Business 101, but customers should not have to hunt you down and harass you to give them your money. Hansen's prices are competitive--they are not the highest nor the lowest--and when the bill comes you will not be surprised by random up-charges. I recommend Jerry as someone I'd hire for a job, give him the keys if I could not be here, and trust him to lock up when he leaves.
Our tech, Jerry, was amazing! He was knowledgeable and very efficient. He fixed our plumbing issue. It is hard to find an honest plumbing company. Hansen's Family Plumbing is! If we ever have another plumbing issue, Jerry is the only person we want coming back into our home!!

Our disposal decided to come loose and create a small flood in our kitchen. They arrived first thing in the morning as agreed, and had it totally fixed in about an hour after having to remove it and reinstall it. They left the area spotless and were so easy to deal with. Any time in the future that I need a plumber you can bet I will be calling Hansen for the job. They were great!
I had a dripping showerhead and needing the cartridge in the shower handle replaced. I did my best to get it done myself and then I broke off the cartridge due to a buildup of calcium and magnesium inside the handle.
Dan came out to help me help me chisel out the remaining, corroded parts of the old cartridge and then help me get a new one installed which took some doing because they needed to take an emery cloth and really clean out all of the buildup that was inside of the chamber. Even though it took them several hours they stuck with a job they got it done and no more dripping

Mason Mellen, the tech who came to my house (on time!) was personable, professional, and thorough. He had my issue, a new faucet incl pipe replacement repaired quickly. I am also confident in the quality of the parts that were used!

Price gouging during pandemic and beyond. Repair in 2021.
After my Phoenix home's water heater had an issue, called Hansen. Was a 10-minute repair to replace 2 heater elements which were on-hand in the repair truck. 10. Minute. Repair. Elements were of minimal cost, then they added on over $450 labor charge. When I questioned them, they said it was the market rate and due to supply chain issues - supply chain has no relation to 'labor'.
Run and keep running from this business. The young guy sent for the repair was actually proud to quote that price; which is even more bizarre and scary than than the gouging.

Amazing!! I had four companies come out to do a quote for a gas line. I even called a close friend of mine who owns a plumbing business for a quote. Hansen beat everyone out by far. Dick came out to give the quote and do the install. He was training another employee during it. He was patient, explained everything in detail and answered all of the gentleman's questions (and mine of course). I was very impressed and happy with their service. I would definitely recommend Hansen Family Plumbing.

Had a leak from my master bathroom into my kitchen. I had Hansen come out and reseal my tub. They came out promptly. Gave me a quote, and then began work. The gentlemen, Jordan Seely, who came by was extremely polite, kept the space clean, and did an amazing job going above and beyond what I would have deemed as an acceptable job.
Thank you and will absolutely be contacting and using this local company from here on out when I have plumber needs in Chandler.
My landscaper advised that I had a leak in the supply line between my meter and the house. I contacted Hansen Family Plumbing this past weekend, and they sent a technician, Jerry, out to look at it today. Jerry informed me that the meter quit spinning after he shut the water off at the house. This meant that they leak was related to the irrigation system rather than the supply line to my house. Jerry also advised that it would be more cost effective to have the landscaper address it, which I appreciated. I'll be contacting Hansens again, should a plumbing need arise. I appreciate dealing with contractors that are interested in providing the correct fix without over charging me.

Today Christopher Metcalfe was trying to solve a plumbing problem at Amy Trowbridge's home a stopped-up sewer line and we could not find a plumber Several companies just could not help. Woke up at 6a and found a burst pipe in our roof so we called a big name, national plumbing company that gave us a two hour estimate. Two hours turned into an additional 2 hour estimate by customer service so I turned to Hansen Family Plumbing and Air(via Yelp) to see what they could do. Spoke with a super sweet woman named Lisa who listened to my issue, took my info and told me to wait just a moment. She came back and said she spoke to one of their technicians and he was being dispatched immediately to arrive in the next half hour.
Maybe 20 minutes later Preston arrived and introduced himself to my wife, my daughter, and me. He was super nice and up front about what he thought he'd have to do, as well as, potential pricing. I also have 2 Dobermans and was worried they'd be a distraction but Preston was great with them.
He took at look at the roof and then went up in the attic to confirm one of the pipes had sprung a leak. He assured us he had all the necessary material and tools then got to work. The entire job lasted about a half hour and after, he gave us a SITREP on the work he did and a couple suggestions on how to limit any further damage to the roof.
I'm really glad they sent out Preston, he did some fantastic work. I have 2 kids and 2 dogs so I couldn't leave my water off for the day and having someone empathize with my issue and offer immediate help, that was top quality, was more than I could have asked for. My family will definitely use the Hansen Family again and would recommend them to anyone in a similar emergency or routine maintenance.

Amazing company. They installed a water softener for me earlier this year. I called them back out just now to drain my water heater as I hadn't done it yet this year. The technicians informed me that the city was now pumping 100lbs of pressure to my main (supposed to be 60-80lbs) which could blow out my faucets and irrigation lines! I guess they do this when there is a population surge, who knew?! Robert suggested we install a pressure valve to regulate it because the builder never installed one. If Hansen Family Plumbing wasn't out here preforming routine checks it could have been a very costly repair for me and my home could have flooded. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Installation was clean and top notch! Thanks guys!
I've used Hansen now at least three times. They are great, always show up on time, and do excellent work. Zack came out yesterday to repair a main valve and spent several hours making sure it was done right. He was also just a super nice guy and explained things that he was doing. Really impressed with the quality of work!
I'm hoping to not have to call a plumber again soon, but when I do I'll call Hansen.

Our shower handle stopped working correctly. The handle would turn off and on but no water would come out. Hansen set out Jerry to fix the issue and we couldn't have gotten a more professional and informative technician to help with the issue. He was great, explained the issue we were having, and got the job done in no time at all. I would highly recommend Hansen to any of my friends and family!

This is a two-part review: one for AC Tune up and one for Plumbing
I'd like to start by sharing there was an issue when setting my first appointment, but I immediately received a call to fix it. That tells me a lot about the integrity of a company.
I requested an AC Tune up service and was absolutely impressed by the technician, John. He was very thorough, provided lots of good information about our existing unit, cleaned our unit, and made solid recommendations. No repairs were needed.
Also, received a quote to replace our existing polybutylene pipes. The gentleman took his time going through our home, inspected the work areas, we asked for some things to be added such as a wash basin in the garage and a hose bib to the exterior. He was very easy to work with.
Overall, very impressed.

I had a main water line leak back in 2012, and the company that did the line replacement left the city sometime since then. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, instead of installing a single line from the meter to the home, they put a coupling towards the end, and that section was the weak spot. It started leaking in December 2023. Hansen provided me with an estimate and then diagnosed the plumbing situation. The original installers had done some very non-standard installation practices, and Hansen's team had to figure out not only what they did, but also find an even better solution to do the repair. They worked on coming up with a solution for several hours and even brought in a seasoned expert to examine the previous job that was done. I really admired that about the company because their concern was doing a professional repair job and making sure I was satisfied. In the end, they came up with a solution I was happy with and confident would last. They didn't just come in and say, This is what we're doing, take it or leave it. Instead, they worked with me and were very accommodating. In the end, I couldn't be happier. I wanted a family-owned business, which is why I picked them over companies that charged less, but I'm positive I made the right decision because I got good value for my money. Side note: They even restored my landscaping and left the place as they found it.
Our toilet flooded downstairs and we weren't able to clear the blockage on our own. I reached out to this business and they were able to get to me right away. Like that same afternoon! They fixed the clog that was in the main line and all is working again. I feel like the service charge was reasonable for the work they did. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others!
My water heater decided to leak, and water was running in the garage. I called Hansen, and Brittany was sensitive to my concerns, and worries. She was great, and assured me that someone would come out that day. Shortly after, Jessica called me back, and said they could send someone out sooner. Hansen appreciates the customers safety, and sent a bio on the technician, Anthony that would be dispatched to my home. What great customer service! Anthony arrived, diagnosed the problem, and answered all of my questions, and presented me with my options. Anthony replaced the hot water heater promptly, and professionally. He was personable, reliable, and knowledgeable. Hot water again!!! What a great customer experience Hansen Family provided from the office staff to the technician. Erik even texted me the next day to follow up, and make sure everything was working well, and I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Hansen Family Plumbing and Air! We had a leak under our kitchen sink. Hansen plumbing came out same day. Replaced the defective parts and charged a reasonable fee for the work performed. I would not hesitate to recommend them as I'm sure I'll use them again if we have any future plumbing issues.
It was a beautiful spring morning when I heard my daughter say the last thing a parent never wants to hear. There's water coming from the ground. Sure enough, water was backing up out of our clean out pipe. I tried to reason with it and I had a pretty solid argument, but it was a clog and couldn't be reasoned with.
I found Hansen Family Plumbing on Yelp with so many stars next to their name and called, hoping for any availability. They could send someone that afternoon (between 2-5).
I received a text with our plumber's name and photo when he was on his way. The plumbers who came out, Preston & Jordan, arrived at 2. They did an assessment of the issue and got to work. Preston did an excellent job of keeping me updated on their progress as they hit a snag and and to call a supervisor out who had different equipment.
The supervisor (sorry I didn't get his name) showed me the issue on his pipe camera. Roots growing into the pipe and gave suggestions how to address the problem.
Excellent, friendly, and prompt service. Would recommend.
Needed a kitchen faucet replaced. Richard F. arrived early and finished the job quickly -- will use Hansen as my go-to for any future plumbing needs.

To be fair I was late to appt as I needed to drip kids off to school and the guy waited .. for that thank you.
However once inside, before diagnosing the troubled faucet he proceeded to pull up the sizing for a new faucet and quoted some ridiculous price. After explaining I wanted the faucet fixed not replaced and I had a new faucet just like the broke one he could use to repair he stated it would still be over 400.
I would have given then 1 star as they are product pushers but gave 2 as he waited and I appreciated that.
I called they were here at the time they said the plumber Tate Withers was fantastic cleaned everything up very polite. He is definitely hired in my book.
Jim was my tech and very knowledgeable. Easy to communicate with and finished the job quickly. Staff seems to be very wonderful and price is competitive with other plumbers in my area.

We use Hansen for our three commercial buildings/ offices. We have large AC units that they help to manage on a quarterly basis. John and Mark have been out here quite a few times because our previous HVAC company didn't manage the units like they should have. Each time they have been responsive, communicative and honest about the work that needed to be done. I can't recommend them enough for the work they continue to do and their diligence to make sure our systems work properly.

I needed to remove an old water softener and cap the remaining pipes and found Hansen's through a quick Google search
Their team answered the phone right away and was able to schedule a tech to come out to my house, same day, without having to fill out or provide an over whelming amount of information. The visit and estimate were quoted as free as well.
Preston was out within 2 hours, was able to diagnose the issue and said he could knock it out right then and there. Within the hour he had the parts required, the old unit removed and even (as a courtesy) re-opened the wall for me where an old ventilation area had been covered up.
Overall Hansens and Preston were professional, knowledgeable and happy to help. If we need additional plumbing services in the future we will always turn to Hansen's first

My toilet started leaking this week and I thought I could fix it myself. After a few hours of grumbling, cursing and losing my temper on the toilet and eventually breaking it, I admitted defeat and turned towards the professionals. I tend to look for reputable small mom and pops companies and ran into Hansen Family Plumbing. I put in for a quote and selected the 5 other companies option from Yelp. Not only were they able to get me in with a same day appointment, but they were also the first to reach out to me. I still haven't even heard quotes on two other companies and the job is already done.
This whole experience was nice, but I hardly ever leave reviews. The ENTIRE reason I am leaving a review in the first place was because of the wonderful service from Dishawn. He was very polite, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. It's hard to describe, but the ease to get along with Dishawn, in addition with his willingness to take care of everything (putting together the new toilet, hauling away the old one, cleaning up), just made the experience overall seamless. The ease and speed in him doing that which I couldn't not was humbling to see.
Usually, it's kind of a hassle having technicians over, but Dishawn really made it feel like you were just catching up with an old buddy while he helped you out in installing a new toilet. Kudos to Hansen Family in their hiring process. I can't speak for their other employees, but if you can, ask for Dishawn!
**side note, out of the companies that finally did decide to get back to me, Hansen's quote was on par and fair with everyone else
Edit: after reading a particular review, I would also like to remind people you are paying for a job. You have accepted that you are lacking the skills, time, tools, or knowledge to do a job. Hiring a technician to do the job is hiring for Piece work, not an hourly rate. If you hire them to fix a leak in your sink, you hired them to correct the problem. Not for the time or cost of the pieces it took them to do it. Your hire for skill, knowledge and they experience. There is more to running a business than just a $4 part and 15min of labor.
If you can accept that, this is a wonderful company to go through.

Initially spoke to Gabriella. She's great! It was so nice to have someone answer the phone who knew EXACTLY what was going on and could schedule my same-day appointment immediately. This company is ORGANIZED & EFFICIENT! Tech showed up on time and was professional, personable and an excellent communicator who did a great job. My only misgivings were their prices. Definitely above average. I paid it to get same-day service but would definitely recommend getting quotes from others on non rush jobs.

My hot water has been out since Saturday, and after some frustrations with the home warranty, I decided to find the best rated company near me. I'm so so happy I did! When i called the answering team was pleasant and immediately got someone out to me. Water heater clearly needed to be replaced, but to make sure they went the best route, my tech Jordan was not hesitant to bring his boss into the conversation, which meant a lot to me, as that shows clear communication and a desire to not just charge the most. Jordan was so quick, very polite, and the cost associated with the work and new heater was fairly priced. I look forward to working with them again, and highly recommend them for anyone trying to find the right company. These guys are it! Plumbing has proven to be the most difficult trade to find decent and kind people that aren't just trying to gouge you, so I am thankful I have found these guys. Again, thank you!!

As a customer, when you get top tier customer service, others should know. Hansen Family Plumbing and Air is top notch.
We had an issue with the AC not blowing cool air so I called & spoke to Gabriella who was courteous & prompt. She was able to dispatch Luis & Andrew to our home in less than an hour. I know that may not always be as convenient but we're impressed & grateful, nonetheless.
Both Andrew & Luis were able to get it working with thorough explanations. They also gave feedback as to some peripheral issues with the home layout. To wrap it up, they closed with a possible forecast down the line but didn't try to upsell us on anything. They said we should be good for this & next year.
If we have future AC issues, Hansen Family Pluming and Air is who we'll call.
My daughter needed a plumber to repair a shower that was leaking badly. Another plumber had tried to fix it without success. Hansen responded the same day and within a few hours had repaired the shower. My daughter is thrilled. We found Hansen's prices to be reasonable and their technician to be professional, capable and friendly. The company sent a text with the technician's photo and bio to us before he arrived - a really nice touch! We highly recommend Hansen Family Plumbing and Air.

My partner asked if I could update the review to reflect our recent experiences with Hansen Family Plumbing. We were frustrated due to ongoing hot/cold water issues in our unit and the staff made themselves available to our building engineer to trouble shoot the problem together and were willing to replace our mixing valve again to ensure that wasn't the problem. The follow up has been great and we're thankful they tried their best to fix a problem that unfortunately isn't fixable due to it being a building issue

Exceptional customer service! They send you a text when your technician in on their way with not only the name of your tech but also a picture and short bio so you know exactly who will be knocking on your door. Such an important safety measure and I've never had any other service provider do this! They've made a loyal customer out of me!
I'm a bit disappointed with Hansen Family Plumbing as they don't seem to stand by their work. I previously had a great experience with them until this week. The company has a different feel; I'm wondering if they're under new management.
In any case my issue is that they installed an Insinkerator hot water for me that is leaking. Actually it's leaking in a few places, at the water dispenser (faucet), at the tank, and at one of the fittings. Hansen's response was basically - too bad, your warranty period is over.
They literally installed this unit last year. They instructed me to contact the manufacturer 'so at least I can get a new tank'. This is even though they bought this unit for me, and I paid them for both the part and the labor. At the very least, they should be doing this work for me. They have all the info a manufacturer would want - such as place of purchase, proof of purchase, etc.
When I contacted Insinkerator, they asked for a copy of my receipt as well as the model number and serial number of the unit. The receipt I have from Hansen is very generic and doesn't specify model number or serial number; in fact, it doesn't specify the manufacturer.
Because of that, Insinkerator told me that the receipt I provided to them is not valid. Furthermore, based on the model number and serial number on the unit in my kitchen, it looks like Hansen installed a unit that was actually manufactured in 2007.
Let me repeat, Hansen installed a really old (13 year old) unit in my kitchen last year. Insinkerator's warranty is only good for 3 years. Insinkerator further informed me that they stopped manufacturing this model of insta hot heaters back in 2011!
Waste of $770. Don't bother with this company. And don't believe the 5 star reviews, based on Fakespot it looks like a lot of these reviews are fake.
The tech came and quoted me $993 to install a garbage disposal that I already have and connect a drain to sink. I just can't seem to wrap my head around this pricing. It's bordering on insanity and robbery. Had another licensed plumber come and paid him $100. It took 20m. I'm not sure how they have any stars bc I don't know how anyone would actually use them and pay these prices without a second opinion.

Excellent all around experience! We will be using Hansen again.
We were looking for a tune up of our AC unit and turned to Yelp for suggestions. We selected Hansen based on Yelp reviews and the company profile. We liked the fact that it was locally owned. The response from the company was prompt and the scheduler was very accomodating. They could come out within a week of our contacting them.
The person who performed the work was John, the HVAC Supervisor and an assistant. They both worked efficiently and gave us very detailed explanations of what they were doing and why. Our AC unit is old and does need to be replaced but we felt no pressure from them to do so. John showed us where the unit was breaking down and advised us of options. We are very happy with Hansens and the work that John did for us.
Received a second quote from Zach at Hansen plumbing for Re-routing a broken pipe underneath our foundation. The quote was a lot lower than our first contractor. Zach did a great job! He was thorough and very professional. Shortly thereafter we decided to use them for Duct work. John came out, quickly provided us a quote and completed the job. He also made it right when a few things didn't go as expected.
Highly recommend Hansen plumbing and HVAC.
Our tech was super friendly and very knowledgeable about our water heater, and how to take care of our house plumbing in general. Will absolutely be calling them for anything else in the future!
What I thought was a problem in my shower turned out to be nothing but they were very polite and put my fears at ease. I can definitely recommend them due to their honesty and efficiency.

Our water heater broke. We called Hansen Plumbing. Preston was the technician that showed up. He showed at his scheduled time which was very refreshing. He was very informative on what the problem was and told us exactly what we needed to get our hot water back. Within 3 hours, we had a new hot water heater. Preston was very kind and helpful. They are quick to answer the phone and fit me into their schedule extremely fast. Robert is usually my tech and he is the best! I can't say enough good things about Hansen Family Plumbing. We have been using them for our plumbing issues consistently for the past couple of years. Without exception, every plumber they have sent to our home is courteous, professional and reliable. Their pricing is fair and the work is excellent.

We needed water lines split in the bathroom to convert from a single sink to a double. Hansen beat the prices of anywhere else we looked and Megan and Erik made booking super easy to deal with. We had our bathroom remodeled and the bath piping broke and flooded out our kitchen! Preston from Hansen family was there the next day to fix the plumbing, and told us all of the plumbing work the previous contractor had done was not up to code. He has been back a few times to fix the work of the previous plumber, and to fix other compromised pipes discovered in restoration. We highly recommend this company!

I emailed them yesterday and they called this morning and were at the house at 9:30 AM . Great response time . Kevin showed up and figured out how to get the cover off our faucet and went to the Plumbing supply store and came back with the part and repaired the faucet . The repair was done expertly and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was there YELP add says 10% off for new customers and we did not see that on the bill . $250 was a little high in my opinion too .
After getting your response maybe in the Yelp add it should say mention YELP and get 10% off as a new customer . Like I said Kevin was great , price a little too high and did not get the discount .
I called this morning for a leaky faucet and Robert was out within a couple of hours. He had to find a part for the fix and found it quickly, faucet has been fixed and we are leak free. Hansen Family Plumbing fixed a water pressure issue and converted a washer/dryer gas line into a range line for us. Ours is a newly purchased home with several issues. I had new flooring installed and was told that I had several valves that were leaking. I found Hansen Family Plumbing here and with so many great reviews I had to call. Meagan was very polite and courteous when I called and I had service the next day. Dishawn came out and did a fabulous job. He then brought to my attention that my water softener was no longer working. Another reason why the need for so many valve replacements. I am very grateful for him taking the time to help me and recommend a new unit.

I called Hansen Family Plumbing to install the flange and wax sealing for a toilet that was detached by another plumber. The previous plumber said that the toilet was missing the flange and it was outside his specialty. When I called Hansen Family Plumbing, the office staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Dick with his assistant, Eric I think, came out earlier than scheduled, which I really appreciated considering the urgency! The team was very knowledgeable, professional and efficient on the job. They were finished in three hours ( they had to get some parts from a hardware store). I feel comfort in knowing that they guarantee for a year on labor and materials. Thank you for the great work. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work similar to this job! Great company to work with!
Seeing the good reviews of Hansen Family Pluming and Air on yelp, I called them about the toilet problem in the house. I mentioned the flange and/or wax ring issue of the toilet, and asked for the hourly rate they charge. The customer service lady would not tell me the price just saying the minimum service charge for the visit is $99. Thinking it was a simple job to replace the flange and/or wax ring, and average plumber hourly rate is $80 - $120, it should not be over $150.
After tech Zack finished the job, I was told the total charge was $250 including $229 for one hour labor and $21 for the parts. Not only that, they charge 3% processing fee if customer use credit card for the payment.
I feel they overcharge the customers at $229 per hour. That was probably why they did not want to tell me the price before the job. I would not use their service again as many other plumbers can do the job at much more reasonable price. Suggest know what they charge before making plumbing service appointment.

Hansen Family Plumbing is a great company and I've been nothing but impressed with their work and professionalism after two jobs. They are straightforward and talk to you about what they are seeing and doing and are honest with their estimates. I thought we were going to have to jackhammer our some concrete but found myself pleasantly surprised by what a professional plumber can do.
I had an issue with a leaking shower and called the Hansen to Plumbing. From the first call to the technician arriving everything was amazing. During the time from our first call to the arrival we also found a leak in a toilet. The technician never hesitated and took care of both issues quickly and he was very courteous. Great service! The job able to be scheduled quickly and was reasonably priced. I had to get a hot water valve replaced for my washing machine. I appreciated the person that scheduled me was very warm and helpful. The technician that came out (Robert) was very professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond! He explained to me what was going to happen, gave me an estimate, got it done like a charm, and then even helped me install my new washing machine to help ensure the valve was functioning right. Had a plumbing problem, called Hansen, and they scheduled for the next day. Their plumber discovered that our drain was plugged some due to rust from cast iron pipes. He could not take off the drain pipe because it was rusted in so he went through the roof pipe with a snake to clean the pipes. In 90 minutes, water was running great. He was also very friendly and explained everything he was doing. I would definitely call Hansen again.
Poor office communication. I booked an appointment for one week out. Waited with a broken shower for the highly rated Hansen plumbers. Sent pictures and discussed solutions. They stood me up. Called and they had every excuse in the book. In the end, they told me that they probably dropped the ball because i was outside of their service area. However, I am well within the service area which they drew on the yelp map. I think that they just have so much work due to their high reviews and likely strong field work that they are losing some customer service on the scheduling side.
Manager who responded does not understand his service area map on yelp or what actually happened with the schedule. Nor did they follow up after the appointment was set.

Sent and inquiry and left a voicemail to get a quote on a shower drain issue at the home and also to check on an outdoor drip line expansion, if that's something they do, and had no response.
I have used Hansen Plumbing twice now and I can not give them a higher RECCOMMENDATION! They are honest, reliable, professional and beyond reasonable with their pricing! The notification and communication regarding the timing of the technician was amazing! One call to Hansen Plumbing and you will also be using them exclusively for ALL your plumbing needs as well! GREAT company!
Responsive and timely. I had initially contacted another plumbing company who indicated they could not help me and recommended Hansen as better equipped to handle it. If another plumber is referring me to who they consider superior, well heck I'm gonna call. I'm glad I did. They were responsive and understanding. Service was sent within an hour. True they did have to come back as the problem persisted and Richard is great to work with, was honest about the problem, and didn't gouge me for services I didn't need even though he totally could have...I have no clue how plumbing repairs work. I had them out to install a shower set. The night before they were going to be here, our newly installed toilet started leaking. (Installed by someone else) Perfect timing really. It ended up he couldn't install the shower set (I bought the wrong one), but he gave me his honest opinion about the toilet.
He took a look, told me what the issue was and told me to call the old company to save me money. He was very honest about how he could charge me to do it, but wanted me to save money if I could. He didn't even charge me for the trip since they couldn't do what I had originally called for.
I'm writing this review because I appreciate their honesty and punctuality. I'll definitely be using them in the future!
As I write this review, I have mixed feelings about Hansen Family plumbing. The experience that we had is both positive and negative. On the positive side, everyone we had contact with was polite and were able to accommodate our repair needs in a timely matter. But this is where I start to have mixed feelings about the honesty or integrity of the company.
This morning we had a leak develop in the kitchen ceiling of our house, causing a 3 foot by 3 foot wet spot. After ripping open the drywall and removing the insulation that was soaked myself, we found a section of pipe that was dripping. This pipe appeared to have been repaired, in the past, but not very well by the looks of it. Original quote by the repair tech was $400 to repair. When we decided to cancel the repair and do it ourselves, the price was adjusted to $249.
The repair would take about 15-20 minutes, consist of two fittings and a small length of PEX tubing. In total, the parts would be no more than $40. I understand that there is a service call fee and there is an expense for the repairman's time, but to ask for over $200 in labor costs seems a bit excessive. Making two cuts, pushing on two Shark-bite connectors and fitting a 24 inch piece of PEX tubing between the fittings does not seem to warrant $200 in labor. At that rate, his hourly rate would be over $800/hr. Applying a principal of good customer service, would be applying a fair repair cost based on the actual work required to repair the leak. Good customer service is rewarded with referrals and positive reviews.
Based on this experience, I will not be recommending or using Hansen Family Plumbing in the future.

Had them come remove an old toilet and install a toilet I purchased at home depot. They text me when they were on the way and arrived on time. Excellent customer service, friendly and did a great job! I will definitely use them again!

Fantastic experience! Had an unexpected leak in one of the upstairs bathrooms, which required us to shut off water to the whole house. Within 40 minutes there was someone outside our door! The plumber showed up wearing a mask and was very friendly. He fixed the cause of the leak, and also replaced a part for the downstairs toilet as well as did a quick check of our water pressure at my request. Couldn't be more pleased. We will save this number and will call again for future plumbing needs!
Contacted them through Yelp and they were incredibly responsive. They offered to come out the same or next day to take a look at our leaky sink. Great experience! This is our go-to plumbing company!

Had a leak with a pipe in the ceiling and needed a plumber right away. Saw the 5 stars on Yelp and local small business. Definitely did not disappoint. Great experience! Very responsive and quick to come back with a quote and asked relevant questions before throwing out the quote. Price came $100-$200 under a quote from somewhere else. Was able to get a tech out the same day due to opening in their schedule. The tech Dishawn was friendly and knowledgeable. Got the issue quickly fixed. Would definite recommend!

New kitchen faucet install was somewhat positive as we now have running water, however, the new faucet had a different sized fitting for the R/O hose. I was hopeful the plumber would resolve this issue as we no longer have a connection nor source of R/O water at the sink or fridge. We were told to obtain the parts and frankly we are not clear on the size or make of parts required.
We are now paying for another third party to come out and complete the job.
This was our first job with Hansen's and will likely look elsewhere for plumbing needs in the future.

I needed a shut-off valve replaced under my kitchen sink, and based on Yelp reviews I called Hansen Family Plumbing. Erik answered my first call and asked if he could call me right back. I was skeptical that I'd get a prompt call back, but Erik did call me right back. After hearing my need he quoted me a fair price and was able to get me on the schedule for a couple days later.
Robert arrived right at the scheduled time, and proceeded to get right to the job. He was very professional, pleasant and efficient. He finished the job and cleaned up quickly then collected the previously quoted price.
All in all I had a very positive experience with Hansen Family Plumbing. I will definitely call them again next time I need a plumber.

These are my go to guys for plumbing needs. Every time I have called they were available and responded within hours or less. They have installed a garbage disposal, dishwasher and cleaned out my drain. Since Covid always maintained a safe distance and kept the job area clean. I would not use anyone else.
Had a hot water recirculating pump installed. Zac was technician, prompt, courteous and very professional. These folks are definitely 5 Star.

I had a couple of leaking bathtub faucets and a leak from a recently installed toilet. I called Pink Plumbing and Sewer. They sent out a tech that quoted me a ridiculous price of $1300-1400 each for the leaking faucets and undetermined thousands more to fix the leaking toilet. I knew they were trying to rip me off so I refused.
I then called Hansen Family Plumbing. They came out and fixed my faucets and reset the toilet for $249 each. No crazy quotes and no BS nonsense like I got from Pink.
These guys are excellent. I highly recommend them.
In summary, Pink got $0 and a 1 star review from me while Hansen got $747 and a 5 star review plus any business from any future repairs I'll need.
I was leery about calling a plumber during this pandemic, but the leak under my sink made it inevitable. I called Hansen Family Plumbing and they sent Danny to my house. I was grateful that he was wearing a mask and was conscientious about our health and safety.
Not only did Danny fix the leak, he replaced my kitchen faucet. This was not as easy as it sounds. The space under the sink is cramped, and the faucet placement butts up against the wall. I am so grateful to Danny for giving me a working sink when other plumbers weren't interested in the business.
Hansen Family Plumbing is in my contacts on my phone. I will not hesitate to call them whenever I need a plumber.
I called based on all the good reviews. The receptionist was super friendly, fast and gave excellent service. Our tenant called because her sink was clogged up and leaking. They were quick to get out there. I asked how much it would be. She said $149 or $209 for one sink to be unclogged, just depends on if they can get to the clean out. Very reasonable..plumber went out right away. Then he calls to let us know he can't do anything because the pipe in the wall is corroded and he needed access to the condo on the other side and that it might be anywhere from $500-1000 to fix. The neighbor wasn't home at the time, thank goodness. He left and we got a $149 bill which we paid. We called the HOA to see if they would cover the pipe in the wall since it was for both units. They sent out their plumber and he said the sink basket was broke and that was the problem and that he could fix it but would charge us as well. My husband, at this point, was upset, went and bought the $16 part and fixed it himself.
He called the owner to let him know what happened hoping they would refund something since their plumber did nothing and he said no...that was their service fee. I think they could have been more fair on this part...$149 is pretty high considering the plumber was there for about 10 mins and did not even diagnose the problem.

They really are the plumbing family you can trust! As a single mom on a budget, I had put off a bathroom project for over a year, thinking it was gonna be super expensive and take days. Really quick and easy today with our friendly and professional tech, Zack. He was able to address our shower drain issue and so far, it seems to be going well! Definitely will go to them in case we ever need plumbing work in the future.

Absolutely amazing service. I had a clogged drain wanted to shop small business and find a family owned company and boy did I luck out. I messaged the Hansen Family Plumbing and within an hour had an appt. Al the service tech was right on time. (To the min) and was in and out with a fixed drain in a matter of minutes. He gave me some tips to prevent this from happening in the future since I was using bad chemicals that could mess up my pipes! Thank goodness for this company I will no longer use anyone else and I will recommend Hansen Family Plumbing to all my family and friends
Our shower wasn't draining and I had called around to get quotes. One of the companies said they could come 4 days later. Since this plumber had good reviews I decided to give them call. I called them today at 9 am. They told me a price and that they could come at between 12 and 2. They were able to come earlier and they were here by 10:30 and the problem was fixed 20 minutes later. I would highly recommend them.

Family owned business that was very helpful getting someone out to help fix my father in laws toilet, as well as with installing a new water heater a couple months prior. Both experiences with this company were great.
Let me assure you, I make recommendations very prudently, and almost never do reviews. Hansen Family Plumbing been my go to plumbing company for years. I love that they recently showed up masked and respected social distancing. I have had many experiences with plumbers as a realtor, and since finding Hansen Family plumbing, I don't recommend anyone else. I have used them for many things including misc repairs, sewage line replacement, and pre-purchase sewage line scope inspections for many transactions. They are honest, straightforward, and always do a great job.

Moved into a new home and the washer valves were both bad and leaking. After having friends bail to help fix the repairs, I decided to just hire a plumber. I submitted the job on yelp and within maybe 45 minutes had a quote and availability of the plumbers schedules. I love this set up by the way, it's extremely organized to book with you guys. The tech arrived in a mask and within social distancing guidelines the entire time, I was impressed. He and his mate got the job done in roughly a hour, they even placed the cut out drywall back in the hole which is so appreciated. There wasn't a drop of water on the floor I will add and no mud or dirt from shoes. I Hooked the washer right up and no issues at all, they did a great job. I have several other jobs that need done and I will absolutely hire them again.

my water furnace wasn't heating and i reached out to Hansen Family Plumbing for help. They contacted me quickly and helped me do some quick self-checks so i was able to figure out what was going on and fix it. So nice to have a company provide the personal touch like this.
I've used multiple local plumbers over the years, but these guys are the ones that I always come back - I should probably just only use them from now on. They seem a but old school, but I feel like other plumbing companies use flashy technology just so they can charge extra. I recommend Hansen for your Valley plumbing!
Contacted them about a rusty faucet that is stuck on, they replied within 30 minutes and within 1 & 1/2 hours the plumber has replaced it with a brand new one. Easiest transaction ever! Thank you Robert you were awesome!

They were able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours to repair a toilet. I mentioned that my water pressure had recently increased. The technician checked and found that my prv was broken and was able to replace this for me before anything was damaged. I am very grateful for their exceptional customer service and prompt repairs. Great service! I had a water pipe break outside, and had to turn off the water main. Hansen Family Plumbing is the only company that said they could come out the same day. They came a couple hours after contacting them, and made the repair in about hour. They also came under the original estimate quote.
Hansen plumbing was great, we called them out for a sewer camera inspection prior to purchasing a home. They were courteous, fast, and efficient. They even took the time to answer some of my other plumbing questions about the home. I highly recommend this company.

Erik and the team were fantastic from start to finish with our water main leak. Erik assessed the situation on FaceTime due to the nature of the emergency and had the leak bypassed within a day until the permanent repair could be scheduled.
Had this company come out to give me a quote to get some plumbing work done. After inspection they said they would email me a quote for all the work i needed done. Its been a month and no email quote. On to the next plumbing company. Hopefully they want my business.

My mom's house needed new shutoff valves. The plumber I previously used surprised me with a high estimate. Hanson Family Plumbing gave a much more reasonable estimate and they followed that up with friendly, professional service. We will be calling HFP in the future.
Called them and they were onsite the same day. Sent out a great plumber and her got if fixed asap. All around fast response, great communication and quality work.
Hansen Family Plumbing did a fantastic job on repairing a drain leak we had in the kitchen! Eric was responsive and came out quickly to assess the repair. I contacted Hansen Family Plumbing yesterday and was able to get the service I needed today. Dishawn replaced an outdoor spigot that was corroded / leaking (literally installed since 1972) and fix a toilet - the reason why the visit was urgent! He and his team member arrived a few minutes early and were very polite. He did an awesome job with explaining the issues that I might have with the hose (corroded to the spigot). They finished it, cleaned up and left in about 30 minutes. All for a reasonable price! Awesome job - Hansen Family will be my go-to plumber going forward!
We had to have a few things fixed before we sold our condo, Hansen was recommended to me by a family member and I am so glad they were. They did such a great job on the repairs and didn't sell me anything I didn't need. I highly recommend them.

Needed some new shut-off valves installed for our W/D. The initial quote for the work was similar to a few other companies I reached out but on the lower end. The work was completed early/quickly and the technician was very courteous and helpful explaining what he needed to do. Icing on the cake, I was called about 20 min after the job was complete for the office to tell me that because they didn't need to cut into any drywall, I would actually be charged LESS for the work and they helped process a refund. I was blown away and will use Hansen for any plumbing needs in the future.
Had a water pressure valve installed, Hansen Family Plumbing offered the best price of all those I queried. First thing is Hansen Family Plumbing is responsive - extremely quick and always kept me informed on arrivals, etc. I needed to have them come out after a few days to take a look at some vibration noises, turns out that it was my fault when I added a pressure gauge to the spigot. They came out right away to investigate and took the time to educate me on the do's and don'ts of what I did, and were really great about that. One of the best customer service experiences and definitely recommend Hansen Family Plumbing to anyone looking for reliable and customer focused business.

When I talked with Eric yesterday, he seemed extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated him fitting me into the schedule today. Expecting Eric today, Robert showed up. While my bathroom clog was a little more complicated, a $135 rooting job turned into a $200 job. Understanding that complication costs money, I needed my drains fixed. I appreciated that Robert called me twice to try to explain what he was doing, but it seems the job could have been completed in less than the 2.5 hours it took since Robert was on the phone most of the time he was here. He would come in for a few minutes then head outside for a call for a few minutes, then come inside, then go outside for a few more minutes (as per my mother in law). Either he was taking personal calls, or he didn't know what he was doing and was asking someone else for advice. Either way, if you hire a plumber, you expect someone competent.
Another gripe I have is we discussed a price of $200 when he called me at work after he started working and found a solution. I come home to find out that he tried to swindle my mother in law for an extra $25 which she refused. He also attempted at cleaning up the mess. There was sewage water all over the bottom of the cabinet, on my walls, even on my toothbrush. Seriously, that's gross.

No brainer to call them. They responded quickly, we set an appointment, the plumber called me before arriving to confirm, and showed up on time. He listened to my problem & took the time to explain the solution and how he was going to do it. Took about an hour to do the job & charged a fair price. When someone is being honest & straight up with you- it feels good to be their customer.
I honestly don't know what else you could ask for from them.

Kitchen clogged occurred again but not just my tenants sink but also the neighboring sink next door. Knowing we shared a common line between six units built out of copper and galvanized pipes - we asked Eric to cut out the 1960 design of copper pipes with modern day PVC pipes.
He was efficient and was very prompt to answer a call at 7am Monday morning. He was put there in two hours and worked on it for 6 hours with his partner.
The service was excellent and was very thorough in his work and explanation of reasons why he was taking an approach versus another option.
$800 later we have new updated plastic pipes shared between the units, no clogs, smooth sink drain and satisfied tenants and owners. Now it's all up to HOA to take ownership of this charge - but that's a different issue, not relevant here. However Eric offered to be our technical advisor should anyone have questions about why the pipes were replaced.

Amazing. I contacted the company online, which is a first for me. They got right back to me and set up the appointment---all online! I'm quite hard of hearing, so this was a real blessing to me. Had a leaking toilet issue and the price quoted was very reasonable. Mike came out right on time and found there was more wrong than we thought. I needed someone to quickly fix a toilet in my house that was flushing slowly and would not refill. They responded to my request immediately and the repairman showed up at the promised time. He worked quickly and efficiently and the problem was fixed within 30 min. This was 2 months ago and everything is still working great!
I called Hansen to fix an unrelated plumber's poor toilet installation, which was leaking, wax rings not installed right, and not leveled. Despite my embarrassment of asking them to fix someone else's poor workmanship, they assured me it happens and never once made me feel bad for calling them for help.
Robert arrived on time with a smile, and given the current COVID situation and concerns, properly wore a mask through the entire visit. That really put us at ease considering we have a high-risk household. Robert was not only friendly at the end of a long day, but easy to work with and clearly skilled and knowledgeable. He explained everything he did, why he did it, and happily answered all of my questions. I was particularly impressed with the respect and attention to detail - not putting tools directly on the tile floor or countertops, making sure the work area was clean, and overall doing a high-quality, nice looking job in a short amount of time. Yes - it was a basic toilet install, but the caulking was clean and smooth, and the toilet was properly leveled with shims which are undetectable. If their attention to detail is this high on a toilet install, imagine what it's like on a larger job. The work, character, integrity, and overall demeanor gave me all the confidence that Hansen Family Plumbing will continue to be our go-to plumbing company. This is our second job with them, and the consistent high-quality results coupled with their unmatched responsiveness and respect for their customers will keep us coming back. Thank you.

This is my go to plumbers!!! I called today & within a few hours Robert was at my door and fixed my drainage problem. Robert is professional, friendly, & got the job done in no time.
I was walked through with FaceTime to show the issue and a conversation about the problem. Then given direction on my first steps to solve the problem. I would not hesitate to call again and have them come out for further repairs.

I was referred to Erik a few years ago and my husband and I run the facilities department for a large retail juice bar chain and we have about 10 stores locally in the Arizona area. Hansen Family Plumbing is our go to for all of our plumbing needs in Arizona. I can personally say they have always been there when we needed them and I would recommend them for any plumbing related needs.
Messaged Erik this morning about a shower faucet with a stuck Moen cartridge. Within seconds he replied and we had a technician on the way. Our technician, Michael, arrived early, finished the job very quickly and efficiently and we are back in business less than 3 hours after making initial contact. They came out to fix my toilet and fridge plumbing problem. The guy that came out was very nice, he showed me a few things that he was doing and things I could check in the future! He fixed the toilet right away and it has been working great ever since! The fridge water was coming our very slowly, others had told us we were going to have to replace the valve in the back on the wall and it was going to be quite pricey. After he checked it out, he said we just needed a new hose. He searched his van and found one that would work with our fridge! He replaced it and it is flowing so fast now!! Great work and appreciate the education as well.

I've hired Hansen Family Plumbing a few times for various projects. Erik the owner is prompt to respond, efficient and knowledgeable. Robert, has always been on time, does great work and leaves my place clean. I'm not comfortable with plumbing jobs so Hansen Family are my guys!
I have used Erik from EH Plumbing as my go to guy for over 5 years. He's who I call for my personal residence and for my rental property.

Called for a pretty bad shower faucet leak, plumber wasn't confident he could repair without breaking due to corrosion and gave options and estimate. Appreciated him being up front about it. Wish we would have known about the $99 service call fee up front. Not mentioned anywhere. Happy to pay something but feel like $99 for 15 min, and no repair done, is a bit steep.
This plumbing company is one of the best there is. Scratch that. They are the best there is! Let me make a long story short. Water Heater blew up and needed replacing. Contacted home warranty company who referred me to a plumber.They couldn't come until next day. No water in a house of 5 at this point.Plumber shows and must get approval from warranty company. Approval granted on a Thursday morning which required an additional $450.00 co-payment but they couldn't come until Saturday to fix. Still no hot water. Looked at Yelp and found 5 star rated Hansen Family Plumbing and requested a quote. 5 minutes later Eric got in contact with me a gave me a discounted quote. I asked when he could be at my house and he said an hour. He transferred me to wonderful Meagan and gave her all my info.In less than 1 hour Michael showed up and repaired the Water Heater. Within a couple of hours we had hot water again! Thank you Hansen Family Plumbing, You were responsive,courteous and professional. I could't recommend this company enough. They are a diamond in the rough.One footnote to this story. Eric called my home warranty company and negotiated a partial refund for the job. Almost half to be exact. Hansen Family Plumbing went above the call of duty and helped a family out of a tough situation! I will never call another plumber.

When all the drains in the house started backing up and the toilet was bubbling when we showered, we knew something big was wrong. I called a few plumbers, but mostly dispatchers answers, who weren't able to give any advice without sending someone out. When I called Hansen, an actual plumber answered! He helped talk me through what might be wrong and suggested we try the cheapest solution first. Someone came out first thing the next day with a snake to try to clear the main sewer line. When the snake came up with dirt on it, they explained that that meant there was a break somewhere and we needed a camera to check it out. They were able to get another plumber out WITHIN THE HOUR with a camera scope to locate the break. Next was to determine whether we needed to replace the whole main line or just repair the break. Within another hour, the plumbers were digging by hand, and within two hours, we had an answer. They brought me outside, showed me the problem, taught me about the materials sewers used to be made of, and helped me understand why replacing the whole line was the best option (google orangeburg- what a terrible sewer material!). That afternoon, someone was there to mark gas and electric lines, and by the end of the next day, less than 48 hours after I originally called, the whole line had been replaced. Importantly, the estimates I got at each step were what I paid, and when I called around each time to see what others would charge, Hansen's prices were VERY reasonable. Overall, Hansen was so responsive and so quick, and they took the time to teach me a lot about my plumbing. No one wants a main sewer line break, but these guys somehow made it into an almost pleasant experience. Three weeks later, it's smooth flushing!

I'm so grateful for EH Services. I had three companies come out to my house to fix a plumbing issue in our kitchen - and all three were unsuccessful. Forth time was a charm. Robert and Eric were great. Tried a lot of different things and finally fixed the problem.

This company is the best! They spent some time on the phone to assess my needs and came out quickly. They unclogged our sinks and a toilet and also was able to install a faucet I had as a last-minute addition to the work I originally requested. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up everything. It's so nice not to have to go in behind a company after they leave to do clean up. They left everything even cleaner than they found it! It's been several months since I've hired them and the job they did is still great. All unclogged drains are remain unclogged and free flowing. In addition to the fantastic work they did, the plumber was very professional and friendly. They came when they said they were going to be here without keeping us waiting with a huge window. I had a pipe leaking in my front yard which appeared to be coming from the main line out of the meter box. I called Hansen Family Plumbing from work Monday morning after doing a quick Yelp search, they had somebody at my house a little while later telling me what the problem was and giving me an estimate (which was so reasonable that I was relieved to hear it), and a couple of hours later it was fixed. They called me to let me know it was done, I gave them my credit card info over the phone, and when I got home I no longer had a plumbing issue to worry about and everything looked great! Next time I need to call a plumber, I know who to call.

Erik (owner) doesn't pay attention to detail. First question for quote is What is your zip code? which is 85041. Then fill in the rest and got very quick response back with quote, then a few more responses back and forth, then lining up time, gave actual address and the guy says We don't service your area! Uh, I'm in Phoenix city!! Bottomline: waste of time. So, be mindful that he might waste your time too.

I unfortunately came to realize after a weak or so of lukewarm showers that maybe something had happened to my water heater. Sure enough I go check on it and it was leaking. Checked out Yelp for some plumbers to get a few quotes and liked several things about here. I was impressed that after calling several other plumbers for quotes and having to leave some voicemails, Eric answered his call in person and it was almost 9pm. I actually thought it was a voicemail first but he politely went over my options, gave me a quote and he was the most competitive too. Not always a guarantee of good work but all you have to do is read the reviews to know you're in good hands. Set up an appointment and they were there the next day.
I did not have Eric work on my installation however his coworker Lenny did and he did a great job of cleaning up and completing the work in a timely manner.

The owner on the phone was great, but the actual service performed by the worker and price was not worth it. The worker was very polite/nice too.
The service amounted to be a basic snake clean-out that took maybe 30 minutes, and the worker left a new mess on the floor. Some of the debris stuck in the line came out with the snake, and it was just left for me to clean up, in a previously clean room.
I paid $150 for around 30 minutes of work, where I had to help carry the equipment down the stairs, I had to pull the washing machine out to access the clean out, I had to pick up the sewer junk pulled out of the line off the floor, and I had to shove it all back. Which I was more than happy to do expecting a basic clean out rate because the worker was doing a very basic and quick task. What ended up being a routine service should have run closer to $75, mainly because if you snake a line and pull out sewer debris and leave it on the floor, you don't just pick up your tools and take off.
Edit (to reply): The flat rate included an extra charge for pulling a toilet because I didn't think I had a clean-out available. When I found a clean-out, the toilet no longer needed to be pulled from the floor. I've worked with many plumbers in several properties in a few states and I can tell you the worker cut corners and didn't perform close the service I paid for because his wife or someone on the phone was bugging him (call/text).
Called on a Sunday, no answer, but he called right back. Cool. Set an appointment for 7:30 the next morning.
7:50 comes and I leave for work with no sign of this guy.
7:55 some other guy calls to say I just arrived. He left a message because I was talking to my boss and couldn't answer.
7:57 he calls back saying he was there at 7:40. I call him out on that, saying I left 10 minutes after that and he wasn't there, then tells me his watch says it's almost 7:50, and it's almost 8:00 by now.
I got a quote for the work since it was outside, but don't see a reason to use someone who isn't honest about the time. Was going to just let them go ahead and get the work done today, oh well. Next plumber.
Gave 2-stars because I believe they called prior to 7:30, but I was in the shower and there was no message left. It wasn't the same number I called the day before, and I get a lot of spam calls. But, if you don't leave a message, I'm just sitting around waiting.

All I can say is thank you to the entire crew at Hansen Family Plumbing. My wife and I started out doing a shower remodel. While taking out the fiberglass shower pan, we discovered that the cast iron drain pipe was broken , rusted through, and very brittle. We got bids to replace the p-trap under the shower hoping the damage would stop there. We agreed to have Hansen Family Plumbing do the work . The day of the appointment we received a text that Dick and Jesus were on their way. They arrived on time and were wearing masks. They were very polite and always explained what they needed to do, and the cost associated to it prior to doing any work. Unfortunately after several hours of digging, Dick informed me that it was much worse than originally planned. My wife and I always knew that this could get ugly. The house was made over 50 years ago and other friends of ours in similarly aged homes had needed to replace the entire system. Dick had reccomend that we consider doing the same in this situation. He said he would work on drawing up a bid and would email it to me the following day. Eric and Dick patiently emailed, texted, and called us over the next few days to walk us through the bid and the process that was required. We authorized them to do the work. As promised it took 3 days of ripping out concrete and digging in the dirt to pull out section after section of broken pipe. I can't remember how many times they would come out and say here is another reason you replaced the whole system. After all the work was done they walked us through everything answering questions we had. Before this we had a plumber for small items, but seeing their work ethic and how much they worked with us, I am just going to call Hansen Family Plumbing going forward.
Well, my search for a quality plumber is over. Have had some bad experiences with other plumbers in the area so thought I would check with YELP for HELP! I put an estimate request in play for 5 plumbers and only two out of the 5 on YELP called me back to inquire about my small job. That was a concern but after talking to Eric, he was prompt in his interest in setting an appointment to get my job taken care of. We briefly discussed the job over the phone, he gave his verbal recommendation on what to expect when his tech arrived and was very professional in confirming the appoitment. Now for the really good part to my story......Robert (tech) arrives on-time, we review the job (sweat unions and pipe repair) and he confirms, on the spot, what I should expect to pay for the job. Reasonable in price so we forge through with the repairs. Robert really knew his stuff.....Expert plumber, great personality and someone I would trust to fix anything plumbing related.....He has a ton of experience in both commercial and residential plumbing. Very happy to have found this company as they will now be my go-to company to address any plumbing issues going forward!

After another plumbing company came out, took a look at my problem and declared they, could HEAR a slab leak, I went back to Yelp and found Hansen Family Plumbing. I got a call back within 30 minutes and after explaining my problem, Erik recommended a leak detection service. They came out, did a thorough review of the house, pressure tested near where the leak was, and found that it was coming from my irrigation line. Not only that, the pressure tested pointed out that at some time in the past, the water line to the irrigation system and been bypassed and there was no longer any way to shut it off. With that information, and a photo of the crazy value situation, Erik sent Robert out (he was polite, thorough, and arrived right at the scheduled time), and he fixed the problem the next day, within the price Erik quoted. When I asked Erik about the irrigation leak, he was honest and told me that it would be far less expensive to have my landscaper fix it - which it was.
Eric at Hansen Family Plumbing will be my go-to for any future plumbing needs!
Our diposal stopped working and smelled funny, so I hopped on yelp to look for a recommended plumber. I called at 8pm and Eric answered!! He said to try the reset button but because of the smell we may have a lemon and burned out our motor. For a flat rate of $325 his service could replace our disposal! We set up an appt and Edward came out to fix our disposal a day later. He said it was just jammed and he showed my husband how to fix that issue going forward. NOT ONLY was our disposal ok, but he didn't charge us a service fee at all. He said We are not here to rip you off.
THIS IS THE TYPE OF OLD SCHOOL SERVICE/COMPANY THAT HAS GONE MISSING FROM AMERICA. We will never use another plumber again!

I have had two drain pipes break over the past three years and called Eric to fix them based on the yelp reviews. He was able to get to it quickly and charges a fair price. I would highly recommend him. He also recommended a drywall person after my first pipe broke, who was also great and affordable.
I had a plumbing emergency today. A pipe behind my shower had a leak and started spraying, and I jumped on Yelp to find someone to help. Eric answered himself and I was extremely lucky that he was able to come within a half-hour of my call.
He came, fixed the problem quickly, and is clearly a straight-shooting guy. I was very impressed. The cost was also incredibly reasonable. I would highly recommend Hansen's Plumbing Service. I'll be using Eric now as my plumber for any and all needs. If you're having an issue right now, stop looking at Yelp and just call Eric.

We had 2 sink drains replaced and 6 new drop lines installed. Unfortunately, the job was really sloppy and below my expectations. Dave left with 3 leaks (3!!!!) on 2 separate occasions, and left a lot of dirt and trash at the site. I wasn't home to supervise the issue but it really shouldn't need me to do quality check on each part! Ultimately, Hansen plumbing came back and did all of the job and they were willing to work to my satisfaction, but this was below average.
Best plumber I've used in the valley. Came out and properly fixed a clogged kitchen sink a competitor partially cleaned. Would recommend.
Our kitchen/laundry pipe needs snaking from the roof about once a year when it starts to drain slow. We've used several plumbers over the years and finally--finally!--we've found one we like enough to use for this annual chore and any other plumbing needs we have from now on. If you need plumbing or sewer repair this is the company to use!!! A plumbing company told me I needed $20,000 worth of repairs. Contacted Eric and he was amazing. He recommended I hire an independent Camera Company to check out my pipes and see what was going on. Basically what showed up from the video was that I didn't need as extensive work done as the first plumbing company that quoted me the huge amount. Eric was professional very knowledgeable and did the job to fix my sewer line for $4000. Thank you thank you.
I have a renter in my condo in Phoenix, and I live out of state. The tenant called to advise of a leak in the bathtub faucet. Yelp has not let me down so far so I searched and found this company. I determined through Yelp that Eric has worked with out-of-state Landlords before and he had positive reviews overall. Eric was very reassuring when I spoke with him and outlined what I needed to do. I will outline for you how the process worked for me:
1) Thurs. 8/25: a. I sent a text photo of damage to Eric (owner, I think)
b. Eric responded immediately with guestimate of the problem and quote.
c. Tenant contacted Eric and scheduled appt for Fri. 8/26.
2) Fri. 8/26: a. Received telephone call from Robert (plumber) who indicated that he was at the site.
b. Received follow-up phone call to describe what he found and to confirm
the problem (which was exactly what Eric thought it might be) and to get
my approval to proceed.
c. Robert called to report completion of the task and I paid him via credit
card, and received the appropriate receipts.
Eric and his crew will be my go to pumber for this unit, the process was seamless. The price was very fair and Robert took the time to detailed possible outcomes from the initial leak. He recommended against replacing the entire Shower Valve Assembly ($700) because he believe that it would be unecessary at this time. I can't say enough about Eric and his employee Robert and highly recommend them to you.

Excellent service! My call was answered immediately and they were able to get a guy out to check on our kitchen sink blockage within a couple of hours. Very friendly and explained everything he did - got the problem resolved quickly and the cost was very fair. Will definitely call these guys again for any future plumbing needs.
First of all, I agreed to an early-morning appointment to accommodate their needs. I believe it should be more about servicing the customer. Then, what should have been a simple faucet replacement that couldn't possibly require more than an hour, took more than 2 hours. First of all. I found Hansen Family Plumbing on yelp. The reviews speak for themselves. They are by far one of, if not the best, experiences I've had with any contractor I've had in my house. They are prompt, efficient, and do really high quality work. I will continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs. I've worked with a few of the professionals they have and they are all phenomenal. They answer the phone, and respond quickly and schedule appointments even faster. They have a text and email based system for reminders and are way more technologically advanced than I've experienced. Definitely use these guys for everything.
Toilet leaking- Yuck!! Hansen's Family Plumbing answered the phone both times I called- no answering machine and totally got the problem handled quickly. Plumbers can really nail you price wise, but not these guys. Great price. I highly recommend this family owned business and would not hesitate to call them again.

Fixed my sink for $183. Was fine I guess. I feel dumb when I deal with plumbing and electricity. I have no idea what they are talking about. Like talking with doctors. Bedside manner counts. Robert is a real pro. Knows his trade and craft. But I'll probably keep searching for a plumber who can break it down for me and explain it. You know? Maybe that doesn't matter but why use Yelp if you can't throw out a wish list.
Excellent service! Robert was ahead of schedule, which worked great for me, and he thoroughly cleared my clogged kitchen sink. I was charged exactly as quoted, the lowest I found on Yelp. Very friendly and fast service! I would hire them again.
I called this morning and they had a plumber that could come out within the hour. He was here quickly and resolved the problem within 30 minutes. I would be happy to call them again in the future!

I had Hansen Family Plumbing service my kitchen sink that had been clogged for over 5 days. I called them on a Sunday night and they were at my house Monday morning. They were out of my home warranty network so they took the time to talk to my home warranty company when they got here to make sure I got reimbursed. With my house being from 1955 the clog and pipe network were a pain but they kept trying for two hours before finally cleaning the pipe. They then took the time to give me some pointed and inform me on some products that will help me in the future in maintaining my old pipes. Overall awesome customer service, will be my first call next time.

Fast response, friendly staff, quality work, and an accurate estimate - I was very happy with the service that I received from these guys. New year, new washer and dryer...now I need new hookups for this old house. I called Eric at 10:00 am, and his guy Lenny was at my house by 12:30 pm the same day (washer/dryer hookups are not an emergency either - I'm sure they will come running if you have something really bad happen!). Lenny was finished with replacing the hookups in 15 minutes, and the charges were 5% less then the estimate. Thank you very much Eric and Lenny! :)

Eric did some work on my old historic home and provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend E H Plumbing to anyone looking for fast and friendly service.
These guys came out to my house today and saved us from the dispatched home warranty mess left behind by another company. They did a very thorough job and made sure our drain clog was clear. Highly recommend.
While working in a high end store in north Scottsdale, our plumbing backed up and flooded our entire bathroom, leaving it very difficult for us to do business. The maintenance workers at the store were of zero help and told us there was nothing they could do. Erik came out after hours and fixed everything he could for us, cleaned up the mess, and even spoke to the maintenance at the mall explaining to them what they needed to do in order to prevent this from happening in the future. He was able to find out there was a backup clear out into the street from other stores around us as well, which the maintenance at the store had obviously overlooked. He did an excellent job, and went above and beyond what he needed to do. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone who wants professional, well done service.

I called and got same day service. They came out and repaired my toilet I called about and also looked and did a quick fix on another toilet I had for no charge. Lenny was our guy and he was funny and cleaned everything up better than when he got there. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend to my family and friends! We had a bb sized hole in the main water line to our house and needed it fixed immediately. Our leak had managed to flood the neighborhood transformer and APS had the power shut off to multiple residents and would not turn it back on until we got the leak fixed. After contacting AZ Leakfinders (terrible experience) we called Hansen's and they literally saved the day. Edward was at our house, diagnosed the problem, and offered several options to get the problem rectified within a few hours. Edward was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, my wife and I never felt we were being taken advantage of and walked away from the experience with nothing but good things to say. I would not hesitate for a second recommending Hansen's. They're my new plumber for anything in the future, without a doubt.
Called to set an appointment for a shower issue we had. The shower would not stop leaking. When i called i talked to eric. He was very helpful and quick to respond. We had a technician out to our house within hours. They explained the different things that may be a problem and broke down pricing for each. Robert got to work and did an awesome job. I found Hansen's Plumbing service via yelp and I'm so glad I did! The owner answered the phone and had a guy out a few hours later. I had multiple plumbing issues and Edward was able to fix everything beyond expectations. I was assuming the worse seeing water leaks and not having water running to the fridge in my kitchen and the problems were fixed very simply. I will definitely use them again in case of a plumbing emergency.
I needed a new toilet installed and was not sure I would get good info or that if would be affordable. I ended up picking out my own toilet but the installation was quick, professional and affordable. I will def use again!!
We're glad we gave this business a try. We had a clogged drain in our kitchen so I ask my wife to pick out a plumbing service to fix the problem. She chose one that she thought would be a good choice. Well after the guy spent a couple of hours trying to snake the drain he told my wife that it was fixed but we now had a cracked pipe under the sink. (it is an old house with old pipes). Charged us $300.00 and said they could fix the broken pipes for $1300.00!
Well, long story short. The clog wasn't fixed, we now had broken pipes and I wasn't gonna let that crew tackle it. I scanned Yelp and saw the good reviews on E.H. Plumbing and gave them a call. So glad we did! (shoulda done that in the first place) Eric came out, surveyed the problem and made the necessary repairs for half of what the service was going to charge!
My wife said there was a big difference in how Eric handled things compared to the other guy.
We now have a plumbing service we know we can trust. Thank you Eric!!!
We had an issue last night with our plumbing - toilets wouldn't flush, sinks and tubs backing up, etc. I've never had an issue with this before. I called Eric this morning, and it worked out where he was able to come out right away. For someone that has his knowledge, it was a pretty quick and easy fix, and literally within minutes we were back in business. Very nice, helpful, and most importantly, I wouldn't hesitate to call again for any issue.
When my water heater went out, I called a trusted friend to recommend a plumber. Without hesitation, he told me to call Hansen's Plumbing. Within 45 minutes, Hansen's was at my door, and within 4 hours I had a brand new water heater. Very professional and courteous. The best part... the price I was charged was the price I was quoted.

Great service! Called on a Saturday with a sink leak. Erik told me to snap a few pics and send to him. A minute after I sent them he called me back and immediately knew what was wrong. He was able to tell me what to do over the phone and my sink was back to perfect within in minute! Didn't even have to come out to me! Unbelievable! He could have come out and charged me but was nice enough to walk me through my issue. I will definitely call again and hopefully pay them this time! What amazing service!

I recently had a pipe collapse under my house which caused sewage to start spewing out of my shower and Bathtub. As you can imagine, time was of the essence as my whole house started to reek like a Porta-Potty after a week long music festival. TERRIBLE! I have a home warranty with Old Republic so the first thing I did was have them send out a technician. He did a half-ass job and after about 30 minutes of trying to get his equipment to work he said I would have to hire my own plumber to get access through the roof (they aren't insured to go on the roof). This is when I found EH Plumbing on Yelp. Robert came out to my house the following morning and he was able to diagnose the problem. It wasn't necessary for them to go up on the roof and they determined the line under my bathroom would need to be replaced. That day I got 2 other plumbing companies to come out and give me an estimate. The first plumber quoted me $3700 and the second $2800. Eric quoted me $2350 and was able to fit me in the very next day, despite another job they were working on. I will use E H Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs in the area from now on. They not only did a great job, but they helped me clearly understand the problem so I could get a $900 payout from my Home Warranty company. I would feel comfortable referring Eric and Robert to any of my friends or family.
Erik was able to get out to my place quicker than the other two companies I found through Yelp. His price was fair, his service professional, and he didn't try to do more ($$$) than what was needed to get the job done. Dude is the real deal and I can use my sink again without having an aquarium in my kitchen. Thanks man!

When I bought my house, I was told I would have to look forward to some major plumbing issues, which could come with a hefty price tag. I was quoted from another source a very high number, but am I glad I was referred to Hansen's Plumbing Service. They came in, scoped everything out, and gave me an honest idea of what I was looking at. They charged me less than some of the others, and didn't need to tear up my whole front yard like some of the others were suggesting. A year and a half later, no plumbing problems whatsoever. I highly recommend their services - they are honest, fair, experienced and skilled, something you don't find much these days from others in this line of work.

Called on Saturday during NFL wildcard weekend, after our plumbing completely backed up on us. Eric answered the phone and immediately diagnosed our problem over the phone. He scheduled us in for Monday morning and arrived promptly at the time agreed to. He fixed our issue and was very courteous to my pregnant wife who was at the home by herself. Hopefully we won't have any further issues, but if we do I will be using Hansen's again. Highly recommend.
Eric was great, he got the job done quickly, and I know I was treated fairly. He is an obvious choice when in a crunch and you need a professional!

I called with an urgent and rather advanced problem (the plunger and snake had reached the end of their usefulness) and -- I kid you not -- within 30 minutes Robert arrived at our door ready to go up on the roof and do some magical plumbing work. The pilot light went out on our water heater and we couldn't get it back on. Called Eric, who answered the phone, and he told me what I needed to do without coming out. That kind of helpfulness and honesty is extremely impressive since he could have come out and charged me -- and I would have been grateful. This is definitely who I'll call if I have future plumbing problems.
I spoke with the owner on the phone and he could not have been more helpful. He listened to my problem, offered advice and gave me a resource to call. Then told me to call back with any questions. I will definitely be calling him whenever I have plumbing needs.

Have used EH Plumbing twice for two different toilets. Both times the service was prompt, professional and the rates were very reasonable. I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.
The single BEST service experience of my life. I had an emergency and couldn't shut the water off. I called the other big companies in the area and no one could get someone free to help. I called Erik Hansen because he had such good reviews here. He left another job and got here quicker than he had thought he could. He fixed the problem within the hour and charged me less than what he had originally estimated. What a nice person! It's great to know that we now have a plumber we look forward to calling.

I had a broken kitchen faucet that was refusing to be removed within its tightly confined home, even with the use of the specialized tool required to do such task from the manufacturer. Edward was not going to be defeated and eventually he found a way to remove the faucet so the new faucet could be installed. Although it took much longer than normal to remove the old faucet the price for the job did not increase and was very reasonable. I would use E. H. Plumbing and Drain Services again when the need arises.
I had a plumbing emergency today. After attempting to replace a shower faucet ourselves - the water would not shut off! We had to shut the water off to the house until we could find a plumber to fix it properly. It is Friday, early afternoon and my regular plumber is in Michigan. Now what? I have always had good luck with Yelp so I read the reviews for Hansen's and I immediately knew that this was the place to call. When I told my amateur plumbing tale to Erik and explained that we had no water to our house, he said, I have a technician in the area - text me your address. I did as he asked and my doorbell was ringing less than 30 minutes later - I was pleasantly shocked at the remarkable service. The plumber, Edward, was a very, very, nice man. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and worked with lightning speed! He even looked over a sink faucet that had just been installed and tightened it up for us. (That was another leaky DIY situation). Edward knew I was in a desperate situation and he was honest and did a fantastic job. The cost was very reasonable, too. They could have charged me much more for being an emergency but that was not factored in to the invoice. Hansen's will have all of my business in the future. Thank you so very much!!!!! Edward is a too-notch plumber!

I have a rental property in Arizona and I live in California. This is my first rental property and so when the tenant called about problems with a lack of ample hot water to fill the bathtub I got concerned and assumed the worst case (water heater replacement or worse...). I saw Hansen's had good reviews and was impressed by the business sense of the owner Eric to produce such a video promoting his company. I just trusted based off of those two things. I called and spoke with Eric and he was helping me diagnose the problem by phone. I connected him with the tenant and Eric met him at the property in Arizona on Monday. I was PLEASANTLY surprised that Eric called saying it was a valve that was shot and not opened properly to begin with because the townhome had been sitting for some time in foreclosure and so someone had turned the valve which limited the hot water supply. Anyway, an expected replacement of a water heater of $700-$800 went to a replacement of a valve for under $200. I appreciated and respected the honesty so much and now have a reliable, trustworthy and professional plumber in Eric and Hansen Plumbing Service that I'll use in the future and refer to others.
Dependable and very honest. He made a house call, did some work and didn't charge me a dime. I highly recommend him.

Highly recommend Eric. Great service and very personable. I called Eric after 5pm yesterday. He quoted me a price for a new garbage disposal. I made an appointment for today. He showed up on time and completed the work as quoted. Without a doubt, we would definitely call him again!!!
I had Hansen's out to fix a toilet a couple months ago. They came quickly and fixed it properly. It was not Eric, but one of his partners/employees. He was very personable and did the job right. In fact, he needed special bolts and left my house and returned after one hour with the two bolts. No extra charge. I will use them again.
Eric and Larry were courteous and efficient, clearing our sewer clog quickly with no mess!! I would definitely utilize their services again when needed and recommend this service to others in the area!!
Hansen's is a great company. I called before business hours due to a broken water main. Eric not only took the call but was at my house within the hour. He diagnosed the problem and ultimately put in a new (and needed) main water line the very next day. He didn't upsell, was totally professional and completed the project under budget and sooner than he had promised. I would definitely recommend Hansen's plumbing!
