In 1982, the owners and operators of North Valley Mechanical began a customer-centered heating and air-conditioning company in Denver, Colorado. Has drivers with road rage and no respect for other people. You guys let your drivers hit other people's cars, causing damage, and cursing at them while DRIVING your company vehicle? Then saying there was no damage or proof? Shame on all of you. Horrible business practice, and no help or even a simple APOLOGY from higher up? Probably no repercussions for the driver too. How embarrassing for you guys. Do better.

I unfortunately had an AC issue and ended up getting a new AC.  Even though I was not happy to spend the money they made it as pleasant as it could be.  North Valley also services my AC so Chris remembered me and my home.  They came fast and the next day they let me use a portable AC so my animals and I could be cooler.  Had the new AC installed in less than a week.  They were there every step on the way.  Lately it has been so hard to get anything timely or done well with a smile.  Thank you

What a pleasure to have this company be the one chosen by my warranty company.  I am accustomed to some of the lesser service providers being forced upon a homeowner when using a warranty for repair.  But not this time.

Regardless, a company is only as good as their technician that goes out.  And I got lucky.  Payne showed up on the early part of the window that they had given me, which was greatly appreciated for my A/C on a brutally humid summers day.  

After about 1/2 hour he explained that the electrical box assigned to the unit had stopped functioning.  Since it was Friday at about 4:15, he couldn't get it replaced until the following week.  Obviously, the home was not livable in August without A/C.  I was not happy.  

Low and behold, Payne comes back to the house and says that there is a distributer that is not that far away after all and they have the part.

Son of a gun!  He got back before 5 and got me up and running like a hero without a cape.  I was ecstatic.

What a sharp, polite, professional young man.  He was at my home til about 6pm on a Friday to make sure I was up and running.   I was incredibly impressed with Payne in every way.  

Thanks so much.  If there were ever a reason to keep my warranty where its at, it is because of this.  I've had poor contractors come out because its the only service provider the warranty company would approve.   The contractor is a DIRECT REFLECTION on the warrant company.  And I couldn't be happier with Payne and North Valley Mechanical.

Horrible company. Zero integrity. One of their vans hit someone on the freeway & then flipped off the other driver. They didn't even stop to see if she was ok when she got off the freeway.

North Valley is tops in my book! I've had them replace entire HVAC systems in 2 homes so far, referred my son who had his system replaced, and they service my system every 6 months. They do excellent work, have fair pricing, and treat customers with respect. Thorough explanation of work to be done, options available, and honest comparisons of why to choose one option over the other. I highly recommend this business!

My tenants reached out to me that the air-conditioning was working at their home. Frank from Sunbelt Electric referred me to Kendra and North Valley mechanical. I had the tenants call late in the afternoon on the day that it was 116,  so I'm sure they were slammed busy at North Valley. They got a technician out there early the next day, and he told them it was because they had not  changed the air filter in 2.5 years!!! I appreciate the honesty. They could've told us anything and we would've paid to have it fixed. I will refer everyone I can to North Valley Mechanical.
They even sent me a great email with details of what the technician did. I enclosed the air filter (just for fun)!

North Valley Mechanical performed our first annual HVAC service at our home.  The office staff is friendly and our technician, David, is a nice guy and very thorough.  Their pricing is also very good.  I will definitely have them out next year to service!

We are local successful realtors who use many different companies to help assist our sellers getting their properties closed in a seem-less manner. We love to YELP great reviews for awesome companies! We have used this company before with no issues. Unfortunately we had a bit of an emergency situation with a Townhome we are in escrow with, with a tenant and AC  issues came up in the inspection. We had NVM out to access the  situation. The  AC had been working but as soon as their tech arrived (not the friendliest guy) he reported to us that the compressor had froze right then after he had me go up and turn down the air.
Long story short ... We contacted company to figure out what to do and whoever it was that spoke to my partner was very unprofessional stating at one point The unit was dead when we got there(not true) KIDDO very condescending and basically calling us liars. We obviously would not recommend our seller working with this company. We did get Emergency Air out last evening and were told that although the unit is old it had not froze up and he got it back up and running! Would that Gentleman have called my partner KIDDO if she were a man?

This company is very honest and reasonably priced.  They just completed installing new ductwork and insulation in my 1962 house.  North Valley Mechanical completed the work as quoted wiht no upcharges or surprises on the day of installation, AND they fixed the insulation to help make the house cooler.  It took me four years to find an honest company.  I had 5 other quotes from different companies, and those quotes were 6-10 times more expensive.  None of the other companies suggested increasing the insulation.  North Valley actually fixed my problem when no one else could give me an honest quote.

I also use them for annual maintenance on my AC unit, and they are fast and responsive. There have been a few times when I have called them because the AC was having issues, and they got there quickly and fixed it.  They could have told me the unit needed to be replaced, but instead, they fixed the drain line and filter and it was back to working again.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you need air conditioning needs look no further! This company is top notch! I had our air conditioner replaced along with duct work and they were on time, clean, polite, dependable, knowledgeable, and professional! Everyone was very friendly too!

I have an interior, water sourced heat exchanger Trane unit. Very expensive to replace. North Valley tech Brett was very knowledgeable and professional. North Valley was my second opinion because I'd been told by another company
I would need to replace my HVAC unit because the heat exchanger was probably corroded and leaking. Brett performed a thorough inspection, replaced one electrical connection, flushed the under unit drain. He ensured it was operating properly.  Very pleased w their service and highly recommend this business. They waived the service charge and I only paid for the replacement part.

After calling several other AC contractors to get a quote on a new AC unit I was referred to North Valley Mechanical. I was immediately impressed by the estimator Jim. His knowledge of HVAC was very good and was super chill and easy to work with. He was able to give me an accurate quote over the phone which I was very surprised that they didn't try and come out and raise the price on the job once they actually saw it. They ended up being $2,000 cheaper and put in a far superior product. From the first call to a new A/C unit being installed it took less then a week. I'm very impressed with the professionalism and quality with this company. I'll definitely be using them in the future for my HVAC needs.

My AC stopped cooling so I called around to find someone that would work on my model (I have a ductless unit that not every company services in my home studio). From the second I got in contact with North Valley they were nothing but great.

They scheduled me for a visit the next day, they showed up on time and within 20 minutes my technician, Tim Starks had me up and running. He showed me the issue with my freon line, swapped out the part and I haven't had any issues since. Tim was super friendly and took the time to answer all my questions after he completed the job. Great service all around! Highly recommend North Valley Mechanical if you need to get your AC serviced.

I have had. North Valley Mechanical service my mom's AC And our AC for the past  3 years. We just recently bought a home and told that the AC WAS newer however it was installed so terribly that it shortened the life of our unit. We chose NORTH VALLEY MECHANICAL because of their professionalism and expertise over the past few years and trust their work ethic & skills. Jim was exceptionally friendly and patient with us while we had to get financing and even installed it earlier than expected to make sure we had heat. (Winter nights in the 30's)Every one of the installation crew were friendly and cleaned up every spec of dirt & left the place as clean as they found it. We highly recommend NVM !

We've been with North Valley Mechanical for some years and we are always impressed with the technical skills of those who come to the house twice a year to check out our units.  This year (the HVAC) is 25 years old.  There was a serious problem with one of the units so we decided to replace both.  Today.  The guys who came over (Ferris and Damond?) were amazing!  They were really a true team.  Six hours later both units replaced (one in the attic--not easy) and they are humming along beautifully.  Kirk came this morning to make sure all was going well.  He's a terrific old school owner who truly cares not just for his customers but even more important--his crews.  It's also truly a family business!  We cannot speak highly enough about their integrity, their caring for customers and staff and how greatly we appreciate all they do to keep us comfortable during any season.

Jim my sales person was great. He was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through every every step. The team that did the installation were great. They were professional and friendly. They did a fantastic job with the install. They took the time to go over how to use my new thermostat. I would highly recommend this company.

My AC started acting funny on a Saturday evening and totally went the next day. I had to sleep without cooling for one night and that was enough for me. Because my unit is an R-22 model that would need to be completely replaced in two years anyway I secured bids from multiple companies. Based on Yelp reviews and overall pricing I decided to go with North Valley.

Kirk is an old school owner who came in to provide the estimate and was able to size up my home in less than 30 minutes. Although I had to wait a week for the install it was well worth it. Kirk, Derrick, and Steve came at 7:30am and did not leave until the work was completed at 10:30pm. This was not typical as they are usually done at around 6:00pm. However the heat was so extreme they needed the extra time. I'm glad I had all of the cold bottled water to help keep them cool!

As I lay here typing this review after dealing with multiple nights at 94 degrees it is 83 degrees. I know this because the ecobee thermostat they installed can be controlled from my smart phone. It is also Amazon Alexa enabled and does not need batteries. I could not have asked for a more professional crew of men who went the extra mile to take care of me.

I will go to North Valley for all of my future HVAC needs.

I can not speak more highly about this company.  I had three air conditioning units replaced.  They were there when they said they would.  When they arrived, they arrived in force.  6 trucks and 9 guys showed up.  The were friendly and very helpful.  The installed 3 huge unit in one day.  They never stopped working.  The crews were great and we are so happy with this company.  I would never use anyone except NVM.  Thank you to Kendra and her entire team.  It is so nice to have someone you can trust and depend on.  Well done North Valley Mechanical.

They just completed a removal and install of my new unit on 3/24/22 and of the several HVAC companies that I received a quote for my AC removal and installation, North Valley Mechanical was hands down the best priced.  There were no extra charges or surprises that came about from the quote I received.  From the sales person, Jim, to the installers, they were all very honest and very professional.  They fixed the flaws from the previous installation.  I highly recommend!  Great Job NVM!!!

I was pretty happy with my experience with NVM.  The issue with my unit was pretty minor and easy to fix.  What I really liked and appreciated about the service was their proactive approach to reaching out to me.  I called in an issue(to my home warranty) on a Sunday night at 9pm to complain about my AC.  My warranty company sent my info to NVM and I expected to receive a call sometime on that Monday to schedule me for an appointment later that week.  Well, I got a call midday on Monday that a technician was in my neighborhood and could stop by if I was available....what do ya know... I was.  Zack came out and figured out the issue and fixed it and I was cooling again less than 24 hrs from my issue.  

Zack was helpful in explaining potential issues with my unit.  He did some additional diagnostics. He explained the caveats of keeping an older unit.  He also explained to me the differences to consider in newer units.  I just loved his willingness to explain and all the detail that he provided!

They came out on a Sunday thru my home owners warranty company. The rep was polite and efficient. Even though the AC had started working again, the rep still worked to diagnose what had happened and once found replaced the parts. I would recommend their service.

I purchased an American standard system through this company a year ago. It had worked beautifully until last weekend recently it just stopped working blowing warm air and when I looked inside it was frozen over like a popsicle. I got next day service and let me tell you it was excellent service. Within 24 hours The system was fixed running perfectly and the tech/owner did not charge (even though they could've)  for a visit. I highly recommend this company they carry great products and even better service

My A/C stopped working on a Friday evening--I called my home warranty company who setup a ticket with North Valley Mechanical. This company is amazing! They came to my house and confirmed the A/C unit was working well--no issues! They looked at the thermostat which was very old and replaced that and then on a final check, started seeing issues with the voltage. They checked the electrical panel and said there was a sizzle sound when the breaker was turned on. They were not able to replace the breaker and said they would reach back out to the home warranty company to get an electrician for me. Literally five minutes later, I received an email from Sunbelt Electric and an appointment time. They came by today and fixed the electrical issue and the A/C started right up and cooled my house down from 91 degrees to 80 degrees and I'm the happiest person in Phoenix right now! Thanks for all you've done to help me North Valley Mechanical! You are truly top guns!

On very short notice, these guys came to the rescue. My AC started to leak, heavily dripping water onto my carpet. It took two buckets to control the flow. The office staff at NVM was professional and understanding.
I wish I could remember the techs name, he was great. Very professional, explained everything and did what needed doing as quickly as possible. He even volunteered to replace my air filters.

The price, I thought was right on. It is really nice to have a company like this that you know you can trust and feel good about referring to. Not so easy to find these days!

Highly Ethical Company. I tried everything and thought I was going to have to replace my ductless mini-split. I was ready to take quotes for the purchase and installation of a new unit. Referred to North Valley Mechanical by our home warranty company and by the amount of positive reviews I was expecting exceptional service...unfortunately that did not happen. During one of the hottest weeks yet this year, we were made to wait three days for an appointment.  The guy was an hour early before the appoointment window with no heads up prior to arriving. The guy offered a repair (that he couldnt do today), meanwhile it is 83° and climbing in my home with two children and two dogs. Would not recommend this company.

Terrible experience for AC issues. Had my home warranty send them out as our contractors. The tech was rude and would not answer simple questions. Even answered the phone and walked away mid conversation. It was unbelievable. He came out and said ac Unit was fine but might need cleaned.

A month and a half later it broke down completely. Same tech came out and had another terrible experience.

So I called to try to calmly explain the frustration. The owner spoke to me and said he would handle it directly and get back to me same day. Never got a single response from him, only a response from home warranty saying I need to clean my ac before they will fix it.

Avoid at all costs.

Hey Kirk,

I believe the most frustrating part is the lack of communication.

Your tech did not make it clear that cleaning was necessary on the first visit, probably due to his timid spirit. He also made it sound like the unit was fine when a recommendation for a new unit would have been helpful and completely avoided the second and most difficult visit.

Second, when I spoke to you on the phone, you gave me your word that you were handling it and would get back to me personally. When an owner says that, I take him at his word. I never heard back from you once, only a bill for another $90 for the shipping (which admittedly is the home warranties fault for giving me false information that it was canceled in time and that I wouldn't have to pay that fee).

I truly hope you take this as not just a frustrated customer, but that you would see why it was so frustrating to someone who is normally very reasonable and calm in these situations.

Def. recommend this company.  We broke a heat record day before yesterday and go figure my A/C went out.  First place from home warranty company couldn't be here for a week!  Upon making an exception request, I was assigned to North Valley Mechanical.  They called within an hour and were here same day within 5 hours.  Technician Zach showed up, diagnosed the problem immediately as a broken fan, had it temp fixed within 15 min, told me he was ordering a new fan blade and would call when it's in.  Within 24 hours he called back and they showed up this afternoon to swap it out.  Chris K. Showed up and was just as efficient and thorough as Zach.  Was not up sold anything and the entire problem was resolved very quickly!  They will be my new go to for A/C issues!  Thanks North Valley!  Please keep up with integrity and your service standards!

This place is a joke. They took over two weeks to fix my AC and kept breaking more parts with there Misdiagnosis.  They would lie about part availability. They told me couldn't get parts for a day or two. I found the part and picked it up in less than an hour. Good luck if you call after 5pm because they won't call you back till the next day. Even though they say they have emergency service. Even after it was finished they still didn't put things together correctly and water was leaking all over my house. I'm having another company come out and fix there mess. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

North Valley Mechanical has been servicing my home and several of my family members for years.  Their service is five star all the way, technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy.  From simple maintenance visits to complete replacements, I have used them for all of my HVAC needs.  A few years ago, I needed a replacement for a rental property and they came in with the lowest bid and did an incredible job. I highly recommend them. This is also a local, family owned business and their care shows in all they do.

The team at North Valley Mechanical is fantastic.  They have taken very good care of our 2 older Trane heat pumps for the 3-years we have lived in the valley. Always they have been responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and completed any necessary repairs.  This time my office communication was with Elly and the repairs were completed by senior tech Jared.  My most recent experience was all around positive as Jared identified the blower motor problem, secured the replacement part & installed the replacement.  I really appreciate working with such professional contractors. I interviewed 3 different HVAC companies, and there was a confidence and knowledge about Frank that made me choose North Valley Mechanical to replace my old 2 ton unit.   Frank seemed passionate about his work and came up with ideas to cool my kitchen better than it had been.  Frank did not try and oversell me on a bigger unit.  He suggested things that he would do if he were me.  I love that about people and I will be a forever customer because of it.  Thank you Frank!  BTW, the workers were excellent in their install work. Clean, neat, and weren't on their cell phones distracted!

The warranty company sent North Valley to a property I manage for a Canadian client on a a/c repair.  They went out and insisted there were $1,700 of Required charges outside of the warranty. As agent I called to confirm and spoke to the service mgr. NO question, the repair could only be done with the extra issues. I wanted a second opinion. My regular hvac co did the repair with zero non covered items!  They lied point blank!! I would never trust this company in the future!!

You reply was as stated on the phone. My personal Referal company were the ones who went out and made a complete repair with Zero customer uncovered costs!!  They also disputed the recommended repairs your company called for as unnecessary and simply a rip off!

Quick and responsive - Staff is very COVID sensitive.  Diagnosed problem quickly and worked closely with Old Republic to get parts and authorization.  Help was much appreciated, special thanks to Gabriel, Maikol, Richard and Conner.  Repairing A/C for senior citizens in AZ at this time of year is a god-send - Heroes in my eyes. I will solely use NVM from now on! My AC broke (worst possible scenario in July in Phoenix!) and NVM came to the rescue with the NICEST & MOST HELPFUL repair tech!! I am so grateful. He explained what happened so well and was extremely thorough. I recently had a bad experience with an AC company who didn't even look at my AC unit, but told me it would be $5,000+ to get a whole new system. That was clearly not the case, and I'm so thankful NVM diagnosed and fixed the actual issue. Thank you so much!!

The most important word I can use to describe Northvalley mechanical, and one that is so important to us all looking for air-conditioning service, is... ETHICAL!!

I recently used Northvalley mechanical through my homeowners warranty service and they did an excellent job. I know just enough about the workings of an air-conditioner to not get duped or ripped off. (At least I think I do... LOL) I already knew that currently my air-conditioner had been working on the fix of a prior warranty repair before I bought the house. That repair had jury rigged two capacitors where there should only be one. This was the unit that went down. North valley mechanical fixed it how it was supposed to be instead of putting just another Band-Aid on it.

I was very impressed with the tech and told him as much. He said that he felt it just wouldn't be a workmanlike manner if he did not do it right. Warranty work or not, North Valley Mechanical will be my go to air-conditioner maintenance company from here on out.

After years of knowing we should purchase a maintenance agreement for our HVAC system, we finally did with North Valley Mechanical. Kendra immediately followed up on the agreement to get our first maintenance scheduled.  Lay, our technician was super professional. He was here for close to two hours, checking the air handler in the attic and our outside unit.  Everything he did was covered under the maintenance agreement - I was truly surprised, I thought for sure after 2-hours, there would be some sort of extra charge. It's such good piece of mind knowing we are going into summer with our AC system, checked and ready to go. And  if we do have a problem, I know the team at North Valley Mechanical does not operate on commission they will fix whatever needs to be fixed, with no fear of overselling us into things we don't need.

Took advantage of an A/C pre-season tune up.   North Valley Mechanical was great.  The tech arrived on time and spent a good amount of time fully reviewing the unit.   He didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff or repairs that I didn't need and told me that  my A/C was in good shape.   Thanks for your good service and honesty!

The technicians came to my home to do scheduled repairs and did additional repairs without consulting me. The original quote was for $225 but ended up costing me $464.  I never received a receipt AND was charged twice which drained my account. I attempted to contact the company only to be told I would receive a call back which I haven't yet. I tried calling the cell number on the business card which is different from the number relayed in the voice message. I feel ripped off and will never use this company again. I suggest paying in cash so they don't drain your accounts.

Anthony T. from North Valley Mechanical came to my house on 7/25/19 as part of a Fidelity home warranty claim for central air not working. I've had about 8-10 technicians come as part of home warranty claims over the past several years and it has almost always been a fiasco. North Valley Mechanical has by far been the best company I've ever dealt with. They came the same day on a 105° day. Anthony was extremely friendly, completely explained any issues, and assured me he'd fix any problems.
I specifically noticed Anthony's attention to detail which really stood out to me. I will never use any other company besides North Valley. North Valley and Anthony renewed my faith that there still are some great companies and technicians out there in the HVAC world, they are just hard to find at times. I have had my fair share of horrible HVAC companies, this is not one of them, they very much so are a step above the rest. I give them 10 stars and very highly recommend.

First contact with this company was EXTREMELY NEGATIVE!  

When I called today to follow-up on appointment, I was surprised to hear that they could only get someone there 4pm to 7pm (when my home warranty company placed a service call at 7:15 this morning.  I was a little ticked that I had wasted the entire morning only to find out I would get no service until that evening (hell, I could have gone to work!)  

The young woman who answered the phone was RUDE.  She had a horrible attitude and could care less that I might have been inconvenienced.  Her response to my frustration was that if I wasn't happy, she could always just cancel my service call (she YELLED THIS AT ME!!).  When I asked her if she was getting an attitude with me she responded that I yelled at her first!!!  I don't yell at people!!  I ask for and expect decent service, that's all.  

That said., I called my warranty company and asked them to cancel and contact a more professional company.  They immediately someone else.  

I can't speak to how well they'll service your AC, but I can't get beyond my treatment on the phone.

Recently I had the displeasure to have my air conditioning unit fail and my house at 90 degrees. I called NV mechanical after 5pm hoping to get someone or leave an urgent message for next day service, thinking we would likely be in a hotel for a few days until this could be fixed. With dogs, a child, a work night,  and a cancer patient in our home we could not stay home expecting comfort or sleep as we sat around with fans and ice on our heads

Their after hours message has a phone number to call. After I called thinking it was another message, Kirk answered and very quickly let me know he was glad to come right over after his current job, and to text him my name again and address. He said it would be an hour or so

True to his word in this timeframe he sends a text saying- on my way. It's nearly 7pm now. This man who was likely on job after job in I can only imagine the hottest places (he does not complain or tell you this you only guess) comes into our home pleasant and ready to get to work.

Finds the problem quickly, we come to an agreement on price and takes care of it all by himself, up on my roof-until almost 10pm!!

He even pets my 2 large attention seeker large dogs as he heads out to likely pass out and do it all over again. I could not help but remark to my sis and Kirk with: does anyone find it ironic that the man who runs around ensuring others are in cool environments and at optimal temperatures is dying of heat himself!!!

He just laughed. Thanks Kirk for saving the day! Thanks for doing it when it was most likely a 12 hour day for you! And thanks for doing it with a smile.

Zero stars if I could. My home warranty company contacted them for a service call and they were nine days for a service call. In the middle of summer. In Arizona. Two schools of thought: yes it's probably busy out there, but any experienced company operating in The Valley knows how to adjust for the extra seasonal workload. Also, they never answer their phone. Don't waste your time!

Unfortunately this is a one star. One person name to attach to it is Jim Reed.  We had the tech come out to give us a quote. One week later, Jim called frustrated with the techs work needs to ask us questions. Thought it was peculiar but did not overthink. We received the quote and scheduled the work. Jim stopped by to pick up a check. After my husband asked him is it a trane  or American standard, Jim threw a temper tantrum that we should've done our research and he was leaving. At no time did he explain American Standard purchased trane. After five minutes on Google, my husband called him to try to set a location to meet him to give him the deposit. Jim said he is not interested in helping us. He was very frustrated calling Kyle saying it was a three-man job instead of two. I called Kyle and asked to speak to the owner and did not receive a response from the owner, so decided to voice my opinion here. Could have gone so much better Waited on this company for two weeks to install our unit.  Customer service sets you apart from the competitors!

Our air conditioner turned 23 years old this year and we decided to retire it this autumn/winter.   After meticulously researching and receiving four bids, we elected to contract North Valley Mechanical for this major purchase.  
We could not be more pleased with the interaction between us and Kendra.  
The installment date was set quickly and was worked into our availability.  The installment technicians, Tim and his partner, were polite, prompt, efficient and professional.  They explained what they were doing clearly and answered all questions.  Inside our home and outside was left in meticulous order.  
As a funny side note:  We wanted to save a small piece of our old AC for memories.  One of the technicians helped me remove a grill without even laughing about it.  
We would whole heartedly recommend North Valley Mechanical.
It looks like the AC/heater was installed just in time, it's working smoothly as I sip coffee by our Christmas tree.  Baby, Its Cold Outside

I have managed the concierge office at Optima Camelview in Scottsdale for the last 8 years I have worked with a handful of vendors over the years and made many lasting relationships. I have to say, I was really impressed with North Valley Mechanical. Our home air conditioner quit running and we were preparing for our imminent death in this Arizona heat. North Valley Mechanical came to the rescue. They had their technician Zach out to take a look the same day and he was simply amazing! He was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and had our problem diagnosed right away. I can hardly believe he had our air conditioner up and running in less than an hour! i used North Valley Mechanical once in the past and was impressed with the tech and the company.  So when I decided to get my heat pump checked out before the really hot weather started, I gave them a call.
They came out on a Saturday, no extra charge.  They said I would get a text before the tech came by (it was a 4 hour window), and they texted me first thing.  Ricardo was here a few minutes early (even better!) and did a thorough outside and inside inspection.  No upsell on anything. Easy peasy!  Would certainly use again.

A big thanks goes to Frank and the team of 3 techs from North Valley Mechanical that just installed a new air condition unit on the roof replacing an older inside unit.  These men were very efficient, knowledgable, and prompt.  Frank played a big part in the pre-planning and executing of this project from measuring, setting up delivery of unit, booking the crane for removal and installation of unit.  Everything went as planned.  The best part is that we now have an updated cool working air conditioner.

Our landlord used North Valley Mechanical last year for an AC problem that 4 other companies failed to fix or get right. The guys who worked on our unit, Derek, Ricardo & Tim were great. They were professional, knowledgeable, great problem solvers, and worked well as a team so as to fix our complicated and pain in the AC old AC problems. They were conscientious about any mess they were making and they were having fun doing their work too! I would recommend them for any AC job in the Phoenix Metro Area.

Timing couldn't have been worse - 110 degrees and the HVAC units did not function. Our home warranty company was worthless. They sent out a tech who did not know air conditioning. We made an emergency call to North Valley Mechanical. Jared was able to get to our condo quickly, diagnose the problems and completed the repairs. I highly recommend North Valley Mechanical for HVAC service.  The first company the home warranty assigned said they could not get to the property for four days!  I called the home warranty to have the work order reassigned.  I could not wait that long because the tenants had small children.  I called North Valley and they were able to get someone out the same day which is incredible.  The problem was minor (a broken wire) so it was fixed right away. I really liked the report, pictures of the label on the HVAC unit and the tech included the age of the unit. I know the home warranties don't pay much so I appreciate North Valley making this repair a priority.  From the office staff to the technicians the service was excellent.

will never use them again.  paid a premium to have ac units serviced, hard to get them back out for second appt.  Have to really stay on them.  First round techs did a bait and switch, left system worse off then before they came.  Owner Curt had to come out to assess what his guys said they did???
Today they came out for second visit, that's the package sell for AC units, and we have 3.  I have 5 kids, AC units were working perfectly 6 months ago, North Valley Mechanical had just serviced them.  Today they said a switch board was acting up???  All was working before you came to the house?  Now main heater is shut off and it's supposed to be in the 30's tonight?  Tried calling their main line and just an answering service.  They couldn't even confirm who owned the company???  I do not have time for this kind of service.  You know the kind where everything is fine, it's just time for annual service and then North Valley comes out and leaves with things breaking???  Never again.  It is unfortunate, the  owner Curt does seem like an honest guy, who just can;t find the right employees.  Still not worth risking my family safety.  Especially around the holidays.

Professional, through and trustworthy are three of the qualities that North Valley Mechanical embodies during every service call. I've had their service plan for a few years, in November I replaced my homes original air handler and most recently I had an issue with my fan motor. It was replaced, but still acting up, they were back out the next morning and Anthony spent several hours, troubleshooting, poking around doing whatever he needed to solve the problem and with temps now over a 100 in Phoenix, it was much appreciated. I'm so thankful for the entire NMV team for ensuring I'm kept cool during the summer and warm during the brisk Arizona winters.

STELLAR SERVICE! We're new in Sun City and my roof mounted gaspack was installed in 1988. So I wanted to change to a newer system. I recently retired from Preaching for a church that had 9 furnaces in the building and and so have seen the good bad and ugly of HVAC service. After doing my due diligence, I called North Valley, Jim was at our door in 45 minutes. He really knew the industry the area and the products. We signed on a fair deal on that day (Friday).

He told me the installers would be here at 7 AM Monday! I thought, If they show up on time and on the right day they will be the first ones since we got to Phoenix. They showed up 15 minutes early and rang the doorbell at 7 AM! A good sign. Then they pulled the elbow off of the roof and discovered that a former company had butchered the duct work.

THIS IS WHERE THE IMPRESSIVE PART BEGAN! From past experience with HVAC companies I was prepared for the installers to try to jump in and do a quick jury rig of duck tape and string and then hide the evidence because of pressure from the office to keep labor costs down and stay on schedule.

Instead they called extra help to the job site and completely rebuilt the duct work right. It was obvious that they and Jim, back in the office, were concerned about getting the job done right instead of just churning and burning suckers.

After working a very long day, they were very meticulous about making sure everything was done right, sealed properly and then cleaning up after themselves.

I can't remember the last time I got service like this.

These guys left me with a leaking air handler and told me i would need to have a better company come out and service. This happened for real. Completely confused by this since they were the ones to install it. Had a family friend come by and look at it for us and he said they did a terrible job installing it to begin with and did not have secondary drain pan leaning the correct way so excess water would go toward the drain. Also drain pan was not completely covering unit so it leaked onto my ceiling and caused drywall damage. Would not recommend. No empathy and terrible customer service.

I definitely did not refuse service. Please don't add lying as another downside to my review. Thanks for trying though Kirk. My system has been taken over by Donley, a much more respectable company with friendly customer service and people who know what they are doing. You may have a lot of experience Kirk but every employee I have dealt with from your company has been amateur at best. You are unfortunately my first negative review.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Derek and Rashard are absolutely fantastic technicians. Straight shooters and no non-sense. I had 2 other companies come out (sent by my home warranty) that absolutely bs'd me on my issues. My previous AC unit was a 1993 model and all other companies would put bandaids on it, it would work for a couple of hours and then crap out. Finally when I was fed up and told my home warranty to send out someone that knew what they are doing they sent out North Valley Mechanical. Rashard showed up diagnosed my problem and said, I can keep putting bandaids on it but the unit NEEDS to be replaced. I was relieved that someone was finally honest with me. We gave them the go-ahead to get a new unit. The day of the install they showed up early (8am-9am) show up time and had the entire job completed by noon. If you need quality work done look no further. And to their supervisors, give those dudes a raise, a paid day off, or something. Those are 2 quality journeymen that deserve all the accolades in the world.

From start to finish Kendra and her team were amazing. We've got a mini split unit in our garage that we've always had trouble finding somebody to maintain. One call to the office on a Friday afternoon and they say they've got 2 qualified technicians that work on mini splits. We can send Jared out Tuesday afternoon if that works as I live far in the East Valley around Gateway Airport. Perfect! I work full-time and run my own business and can't afford to take a lot of time off I asked if they could call me 30 minutes away. Jared text me when he was 30 minutes away.. We met at my house he was knowledgeable, professional and Pleasant to work with. He explain to me exactly what was wrong with my unit, we needed a new run Cap as well as we needed to recharge the Freon. He made sure the AC blowing into my garage was as cold as could be.
Thanks Jared and Kendra You guys saved us a ton of time and money, you came out the first time with the knowledge to fix the unit without having to go do research as to why the unit wasn't working or staying on like other companies have had to do in the past.

Speed, trust, and reliability are what most people want when they have HVAC needs. Today, I experienced this all and more with these guys. I had previously tried to connect my Nest thermostat myself and was humbled by my realization that I am no expert. I thought everything was fine as my heat was kicking on and as we Arizonan's know, winter turns into spring/summer really quick and I was expecting my AC to follow proper suit. As my wife and I were working through renovations and a move-in simultaneously, we needed the AC not only for ourselves but our teams helping us as well. I realized I messed up when my wife started telling me hot air was spewing into the house while the temps were almost 80. Not fun while running around your house. The Nest online support was somewhat helpful but want sold that they would have the best deal for sending out a tech. We connected with the North Valley Mechanical team and they were out to my house within an hour...the exact same time as my washer and dryer were being delivered by the Best Buy team and also when my general contractor wanted to go over plans for the upcoming week. This on top of trying to get my new home ready to bring my 1 & 2 y/o's into was a lot at once. Then the Best Buy guys tell me there is an issue. Something that was going to prevent me from being able to get my stuff installed that day. The North Valley Mechanical team stepped in and took care of the issue, no questions. THANK YOU!!! Not only was my house (and wife) cooling off but a snag in my plans was overcome by their team. I don't think any other HVAC team would have done this, especially with all the distracting commotion going on in and around my house.

I am now able to get done what needed to be done, comfortably. I am proud to share my experience about these guys. Customer for life!!!! Thanks for going above and beyond!!!

A big shout out of THANK YOU to North Valley Mechanical.  My house AC was not happy, called Kendra at 8 am, and there was a  technician at my door at 3 pm when I returned for the day. SAME DAY SERVICE!!!!
I have know for a year the AC was on its last legs....finally had to bite the bullet and buy a new one.
North Valley honored their quote from last year, even thought the manufacturer has had a price increase.
The guys showed up early for the installation  today. Even the crane driver was ahead of schedule.
Tim, Richaard, and Derrick were all friendly, polite, and very conscientious.
They haven't even left yet and my house is cold like I have never experienced!

We have unique HVAC units here in the condominium complex where I live in Scottsdale, and I can't say enough about the folks at North Valley Mechanical!   Jared at NVM takes care of my HVAC and does it efficiently and thoroughly - couldn't ask for more!   Tried another HVAC tech service after I first moved in, but they had never worked with a unit like mine and really did no maintenance at all, but charged me premium prices of course!   I switched to NVM as all my neighbors use them, and couldn't be happier!!  I highly recommend them!!

One of our two a/c units was running poorly and appeared to be low on coolant. We called North Valley Mechanical today and they sent someone out by the afternoon. Lyle, our tech, was terrific. Easy to talk to and happy to explain. He checked out our system and showed us exactly what needed servicing and why. He also showed us how to avoid the same problem later. He also helped us by rolling the cost of the service into a 1-year maintenance plan that was only slightly more expensive. Super good and thorough service.

North Valley Mechanical just replaced our two heat pumps and air handlers with American Standard (owns Trane among other brands) state of the art variable speed air handlers and highest EER heat pumps. They correctly steered us to the highest Energy Efficiency Rating or EER, not highest SEER (S is for Seasonal) which is only an appropriate rating for locations with four seasons. A team of 5 techs installed everything including new digital thermostats in ONE eleven hour day!  Highly recommend for your HVAC needs!

Our central air failed Friday evening around 8:00. I immediately completed an on line request for service. Saturday morning I called and spoke with the answering service, just make sure the email request was received.
The answering service was professional and asked the relative questions to help get our air fixed. At 7:00 am , one hour later after my call Kendra called me to ask a few additional questions and then schedule the service.
Kendra was able to schedule a technician to our home between 1-5.
We were so happy a tech would be able to come out that day.  Tim, our tech arrived at 1:00. After we had a conversation about our unit Tim was able to narrow the problem to a couple of things. He identified and fixed in
a short time . Quoted the repair and fixed our cooling problem within 75 minutes. Our internal air temp has dropped from 85 to 82 in less than an hour.   I can't thank Tim and Kendra enough for professionally fixing our cooling problem. Working with North Valley Mechanical has been a pleasure.

North Valley Mechanical to the rescue!! Our AC unit blew out today in the 113 degree plus heat!  I called North Valley Mechanical even though we have a home warranty because I have used them for 10 plus years and they have never ever let me down!  Kendra (who is AWESOME) said they would try for today but if not would find a way to squeeze us in tomorrow.  Less than 30 minutes later Kendra called to say they were sending a technician this afternoon.  She knew we were leaving town tomorrow and didn't want to have us worry or have my mom sit in the heat waiting for them.  They saved us potentially boarding our animals and us finding a hotel room.   My mom too has used them for 20 plus years and just 2 weeks ago they came same day to help her with her AC shutting off (it was a battery that died).  They service our heat and air conditioning every year and they have always gotten any issues resolved immediately.  Their technicians are fantastic and the owner Kirk is so knowledgeable and professional!!

And again I can't say enough fabulous things about Kendra!  When you live in the desert you NEED to have an HVAC company you can count on and North Valley Mechanical is that company!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being there for us - especially today during record heat!!

I could have had a better experience on the phone. I was connected with this company through my home warranty company to repair my A/C. Payment was demanded for the items not covered before work was started or she was going to pull the crew. I'm not used to paying for anything until the job is done. Other than that the crew was excellent.

Nothing but great things to say about North Valley Mechanical and tech Chris! Our AC went out last night on the eve of a day with record breaking heat, and I requested service through my home warranty about 9pm. By 8:15am today I was scheduled forcan appointment between 12 and 4. At 9:30am I got a call saying the tech had finished his previous job early and could he come now! Yay! The tech spent 3 hours in the blazing heat getting our unit up and running, providing us a detailed report of the work he had completed and recommendations for future work. Highly recommend this company!!

I just had a new system (outside a/c unit and gas furnace) installed on one side of my house by North Valley Mechanical last week. The installation crew was extremely professional and thorough. This is the first time I have used this company. They came highly recommended by a Realtor who had heard very good things about them.

The price was thousands less than other companies. Kendra is a delight to work with.

This morning I also had them install a 2nd WiFi thermostat on the other side of my house so that I can adjust the settings via my smartphone. The appointment was set up very quickly, the installer was on-time, and again very professional.

Here is an update, following the Kirk's comment.
We receive the quote while the technician was on his way (he was like 5 minutes away from the house), so yes I approved: the guy was almost here and Glen said it was going to take a few hours when he came on a saturday morning to diagnose that the board had to be replaced. So I assumed it was the right price. I never received anything by email.

Understand my surprise when I see that it takes 5 minutes to replace the board and of course I called right after to understand what it is that cost 250$.
Kendra told me that Kyle will call me back to answer that question. He did: 10 days later.
Accusing me of refusing to pay a bill is HIGHLY offensive. I will never tolerate such offense. In private and in public. I am looking forward for your apologize.

I have always respected your technicians. I made sure they had plenty of water, and have always treated them with respect while on site.
I have full respect for the work anyone do, as long as done right, for the right price and in the right amount of time.
Understand that paying for a service that has not been completed is quite hard to do.

Worst company to deal with. Technician didn't know what he was doing, left without doing a thing and put a hole in my dry wall. They were sent to me by my home warranty company. Thankfully they sent out a competent company after Noth Valley couldn't figure anything out and fixed my problem. My advice is avoid or if you have a home warranty tell them not to send North Valley Mechanical.

I called North Valley Mechanical because I was have problems with our master bedroom being hotter in the summer time and cooler in the Winter time than rest of the house. They gave me a two hour window. Tracy the Technician called me when he was 15 minutes out to let me know he was be at my house shortly.
Once he checked everything out we gave me three options that would fix my problem. He also went and checked my A/C unit out to make sure if it needed any servicing.

Thanks you Tracy and North Valley Mechanical for all your help. I would recommend your company to my family and friends.

I just had some air-conditioning service done today. This company is top notch. I had scheduled an appointment about a week in advance. They explained to me my technician would be Anthony on the day of my appointment. They sent me a text notification to tell me the technician was on his way. I had an 8 AM to 9 AM appointment. At 8:05 AM, Anthony arrived at my door. Anthony is very friendly, but most of all, very knowledgeable about his profession. Anthony let me know of all the services/maintenance packages available. But at no time, was there any pressure to purchase anything. Anthony did his routine service on my air-conditioner. He also took many photos and explained the condition of my air-conditioning unit. North Valley Mechanical services is my new HVAC company. Great service, at very reasonable price. I will highly recommend them to friends and family. Thank you again.

I called NVM on Friday, July 5th after our 9 year old roof top heat pump started blowing nothing but hot air.  We were concerned that over the 4th of July weekend, no one would be available, or if they were, service would be delayed and high priced.  Not at NVM!   They answered right away over the holiday weekend and were able to send out a tech later that afternoon. Lay, our tech, was extremely courteous and professional. After testing our unit, he explained exactly what was wrong and how he had the part on his truck, and quoted a very fair flat price to fix it.  He had us back up and operational with cool air in less than an hour after he arrived.  I will be using NVM going forward and would be happy to recommend them to others.

Its never fun having your ac breakdown in 110 degree temps on a holiday weekend!  I'd like to write and say Thank you to your awesome tech Jonatan Martel for an outstanding customer service experience.  This is the 3rd time we've had someone come out to repair our unit, (2 other companies in the past few months) but the first time someone got it right!!!  Thank you for being on-time, professional and competently replacing a part that everyone else just tried to fix.   Finally, we have a quiet system and cool air blowing thru the house... really really appreciate your fine service.

Unbelievable service.

26 degrees overnight and the landlord had allegedly called some company called ServiceMaster -  Well, they came right out, NOT!

I contacted North Valley and within twenty minutes a technician was here and now I have heat again.

Kirk, your guys are amazing and I hope that 10,000 more people write reviews for you like this one.

I switched to this company a few years back when I kept getting conflicting reports on my AC unit at every service.  They helped me get the warranty work taken care.

I have our until checked every six months and they are always very thorough and keep me posted of all the things they do and inspect.

They became my heroes last month when we arrived back from vacation to a 95 degree house and a cramped schedule that was extra crazy because of sickness. We needed a new compressor.  In calling other referrals during my panic, the competition complimented North Valley Mechanical on their ethics and work.  The inspection was Thursday night and we had a new compressor on Saturday morning.  The cost was perfectly in line with other companies.  I am forever grateful for their speed and work.  

The technician's even left a big smiley face on our unit.

During a typical Phoenix heat advisory my heat pump shut down on a Sunday. I contacted Kirk the following morning and explained the situation at which time he personally scheduled himself a service appointment for that day. I was amazed that I would receive his personal, prompt service. Kirk arrived as promised, quickly identified the cause of the failure and made required repairs. This was without question the best customer service I've ever received. It's hard if not impossible to find this in today's world. His sacrifice that day was much more an just doing a job. He cared. I won't do business with any other. Thanks Kirk.

Because of our home warranty, we had to use this company to repair our a/c. Luckily our a/c was still functioning because they could not come out until the following week. The tech that came out hardly said a word to me, but before he left he told me that he was not able to complete the job and that an additional appointment would have to be made. I waited over a week to hear back from them. The same tech showed up, and completed the job. I didn't even realize he was using the gate outside because he was also walking through the house and using the patio door. He left the gate wide open, and my dog ran away! Thank goodness some wonderful people chased down my dog and called me before I even realized what had happened. They got the job done, but service was slow and we almost lost our dog because of them!

Based on the multitude of 5 star reviews, maybe my experience was just a fluke. But this company was a huge letdown.
We needed the elbow to our AC patched up, so my home warranty company sent out North Valley Mechanical. I spoke with the receptionist at NVM and reinforced multiple times that our 2 story condo was very high, had a steep pitch roof, and that there were both tile and shingles on the roof. She google mapped it and said it wouldn't be a problem. Also, she gave me a 3 hour window and said she would make a note to have us be the last appointment of the day during our window of 2-5 pm, so to limit how much time I had to take off work.
I was skeptical. And of course, the technician called at 1:30 saying he was on his way. We were the first appt and I had to leave work 2 hours early.
He arrives, seems pleasant enough. And I can't really blame him for refusing to go on the roof. He was scared. I get it. I don't like heights, but what's the point of being an AC repair man/company if you are afraid to get on a high ladder to reach the roof?
He calls his company and they tell him not to go up there. I talk to another receptionist at NVM and I am quite disappointed.
I wonder and ask her So how do all these other AC units get repaired or roofs get replaced? She goes on and on about how they don't allow their employees to walk on tile roofs and other things and that only one-van operations who don't care about their employees would allow them to climb such high buildings or tread on the tile. Which incidentally, I had a roofer the previous day on the roof, with no problem, and he was definitely not with a one-van roofing company.
So the next day, another AC repair company, a rather large and quite famous valley company, and certainly not a one-van operation came out. The repairman looked up at the roof, grabbed his ladder, and went right on up, tool belt an all. He took pictures and was done in an hour. I told him about my experience with NVM and he said Well some companies just can't handle doing their job. Agreed.

We are having record-breaking temperatures this week (June 20th) and it wouldn't be summer in Arizona without my A/C deciding it's working overtime and it's done pushing cold air into my home!  I called NVM yesterday late afternoon, and got an appointment for today.  I got a text saying the Technician was on his way, and I love that David showed up 10 minutes later!  He was professional, efficient and was able to quickly tell me that unfortunately, the motor needed to be replaced.  He had a new one on his truck, and under an hour, installed it and checked that the rest of my system was working properly.  Thank you!  You saved me from having to find a place to stay tonight for me, my family and our pets!  I highly recommend this company.

I want to first apologize to the operations manager and owner for my attitude directed at you.  

I was very upset last week because my ac units kept freezing on me after they had been charged last May.  I spoke to my homeowners warranty and they wanted me to pay another fee for someone to come out and look at my ac units which i refused to do.   After speaking to North Valley Mechanical and hanging up on them (for something they cannot control) I had the owner Kurt call me and tell me he would take care of the warranty fee.  A tech came out figured out that i had two bad valves that needed replaced (under warranty) and needed to be ordered.  The next day a tech came out and worked all day replacing the bad valves on my ac units.  Now my AC units are blowing cold with no issues.  Thank you again Kurt and crew for you excellent work and dedication to satisfying the customer.

Been a homeowner for 30+ years, and tried several A/C companies until I found North Valley Mechanical. I exclusively use this company because of their superb customer service. The office personnel and technicians are genuinely dedicated to customer satisfaction. I scheduled an appointment with my favorite technician, Lay, to perform preventative maintenance on my American Standard unit on March 8th, 2018. We recently decided to work with North Valley Mechanical to replace three heating and air conditioning units in our home and boy are we happy we did!

From the moment the salesman Jim walked in our door, he was a good listener, made excellent recommendations and gave us a great education on our options. He truly sold us on the value of working with your company and we're sure glad he did!

From day one of the job, the crew was professional and knowledgeable. They completed their install in the promised timeline, easily overcame obstacles that occurred and kept my husband and me informed along every step of the way. I was amazed to see how clean they left our home at the end of each workday, as well.

Once our job was completed, Jim came by and walked through our home with us. He made it clear that we can continue to count on him if we ever have a question or a problem.

If there were more contractors out there like North Valley Mechanical, doing construction would sure be a lot less stressful! We are enjoying how quiet and efficient our new units are and we love having our closet space back now that the air handlers have been relocated. Made an appointment for service at 1pm today and was told I'd have a repair window of 5-7 ... I was then called at 4:29 pm to get notified that the technician took off the rest of the day and they can't help me until Tuesday. I have no heat. Understand it's the holidays but it's not a holiday today...Had I known I would have been able to call another provider earlier in the day when they are open... clearly not a company you can trust to repair expensive equipment or rely on service if they can't even commit to appointments. Very disappointed.

I am a handyman but I don't do HVAC, I've Refered several of my clients to NVM and they have always been quick to service, honest when it comes to repairs and reasonably priced when it comes to labor. I even recommend them to my in-laws, that's how much I trust them!

I had North Valley out to my house last week to do a full inspection and cleaning of my A/C.  

The technician spent a little over 2 hours at my house doing everything from going up in the attic to cleaning the unit outside.  The technician was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me.  For instance, I learned that every time a tech tests your refrigerant levels, they have to steal some in order to do the test.  So every test is decreasing the amount and causing your system to run low.  I had no idea!  This company was very straight forward and honest.

I signed up for their annual service contract.  It was one price and it covers 2 services per year.  I am definitely going to have them out again to make sure the furnace is working at its best this winter.

On the hottest day of the year so far wouldn't you know we would experience problems with eh  A/C (heat pump ) on the house, wife was extremely uncomfortable being as she was on the healing end of another surgical procedure . I called my Home warranty Company (Fidelity) and they called North Valley Mechanical . I talked to Kyle, then Kendra and they said they would have someone out later that day due to the circumstances with my wife ... Matt ( the Tech) showed up and got the unit to be operational but said the coil was leaking so it was a problem and they would contact the Home Insurance Co for them to okay repairs ... They (Glenda)  Fidelity said they were going to replace the until because it was over 10 years old and that if I paid the differential ($950.00) they would replace it with another Carrier 4 ton /14 seer heat pump ... I was advised this was not true and they would put a Payne Unit on as a replacement ...  Kyle from NVM called to make arrangements for them to come out and measure , then advised me that the Home Ins Co was going to replace the unit with a Payne Unit and that they were made by Carrier , I told him to hold off until I could get all of this together and gather some facts  ... I called Carrier and they said the only thing that was a fact is that Carrier owns Payne but nothing on that unit was the quality of a Carrier unit and the only connection was Carrier owned Payne , nothing more ... I was told by the Customer Service person from Carrier that the Payne Unit was junk ... I called NVM and told Kyle to hold off, I was not going to accept a piece of junk as a replacement and that I would contact the Ins Co ...  Jim (NVM) came out to measure and I told Jim its his company's reputation at risk by them putting a Payne unit on my house and he said they would not even do the job under those conditions , that their reputation was more important than this job under these conditions ... I called Fidelity back and we argued and fought until they got to a figure I would live with, not be happy with but live with .
 I called North Valley Mechanical and talked to Kendra, she said she was not sure they wanted to do the job being as I would be difficult to work for (Understand being as the way things started) ... I explained to her my position and if they wanted to they could bid the job, now that Fidelity was out of it all together ... Jim came back out and advised me I needed a bigger return ($240.00) and he specified a higher end unit made by American Standard  (Trane customer service said they and American Standard are basically the same and are higher quality units) ...  (4 ton/16 seer)  and gave me a total figure for the job ... He said I would have to pay the total amount in advance because thats the way they (NVM)  wanted it, so I wrote him a check ( he lost it) and I had to call my bank, stop payment and reissue another check the following day ... It appeared all was going well, they showed up the following day (Friday) to do the install and Jim (installer) and Ricard seemed very nice and totally knowledgeable about what they were doing . I watched from a distance as they went about their work and after they put the new return in I measured it and it was not the 18 inch return I was charged and paid for but a 16 inch which I was told was not big enough, he (Jim the installer) advised me they could not get an 18 inch return in there as there was no room .... I told the installer I was not going to accept it (16 /versus18) and he best get his Boss on the phone,  His Boss, Jim then told me that 16 inch was big enough, after he convinced me it was not and charged me for the up sized return from 14 to 18 inches and I expressed my  concern,  he said they would have to put a second return in ...  Jim came back to the house with another return (20x20x1) which could not be put where he wanted to put it because of the metal work that was there so they had to put it in the Living room which was fine as long as we had enough return for this unit to operate correctly .   I offered to split the cost of the second return with Jim and he would have no part of it, said it was on them and that it was because of a misunderstanding (?) , not sure what that was ...  
  I wanted this job to go smoothly only because of the way it all started out and once all was said and done it turned out just as it should be ... I would highly recommend North Valley Mechanical, but as with any and all contractors get everything in writing and expect to get what you pay for, nothing less ... Its only been a few days but we are happy with the job and so far, so good ... Put it in writing and hold them to it ...  
My Brother in Law happens to be in heating and cooling so he gave me some things to watch out for and what to expect .  
 If you have any doubts call the suppliers (Manufactors) and research things on the internet, it is your friend .  I am glad I did,  that I can assure you ...  .  Payne is not Carrier ...

Bait and switch experts. I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, but this company was just too much....

My home warranty company sent these guys out when my AC in the attic leaked. The first tech was a joke. He literally stuck his head up in the attic, and wasted no time coming up with a 6-8 THOUSAND dollar estimate, saying Oh, buddy, it's all messed up up there. He didn't even fully enter the attic, but somehow came to the conclusion that the installation was completely wrong and needed to be redone. Bear in mind the unit had worked fine for the 30 years it's been there.

Unhappy with that, I called North Valley back, and they sent out the owner. He was between jobs, but squeezed me in. He actually did enter the attic, and blew through an eval in 5 minutes. He emerged saying that I needed $2500 of work on estimate and that my coil was dirty. You have a BIG problem. He said I needed to rerun drain lines, a new pan, etc, etc.

Smelling something fishy, I called a company on my own (which I will review as well) - licensed and insured and it ended up saving me. The new company came out, spent a great deal of time diagnosing the issues, and came up with the same results as NV Mechanical.

HOWEVER, they assured me that the install of the unit was fine. The drain line fix was a simple strap placement to allow a better drainage angle. All the fixes were minor and the bill? Less than $1000. Oh, and the coil was fine, even looked new and well cared for. The area where the coil is was STILL SEALED. North Valley hadn't even looked at it yet somehow told me it was dirty. Classic.

I called Kirk back to discuss the above. He actually became agitated with me and said, Well, I didn't give you a written estimate.  He even tried to tell me he was doing me a favor by even coming out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

After a lengthy conversation, I left him with this - in my business and life, I try to treat people with respect and honesty, and in the manner I'd like to be treated. They would be wise to do the same.

If you are looking for a 5 Star company for your air unit call these guys. We are on the 2  x a year maintenance program. Today was our fall service, which was done by George.  He was awesome! The prices are fair and they will do whatever they can to get you squeezed in quickly. Last night my air went out, I sent a facebook message and had a response within the hour. On 5/30/15 my 15-year old York AC unit stopped working.  What was bad about the timing is that AZ temps had just hit triple digits.  :-(  I had a competitor AC company come out Monday to diagnose and they determined that the compressor had gone out.  Best option was a new system as the compressor was going to cost several thousand dollars.  Over the next couple of days I got 3 quotes for a new system; NV Mechanical was one of those.  Jim Reed was the salesman who came out.  He was fast, efficient, and informative.  Left me with a quote on a 5-ton, 16 SEER American Standard unit.  His quote was by far the most competitive of the 3.  We decided to use them and it was definitely worth it.  

My wife was there for the install and she said the crew was incredibly nice.  Jim even showed up early on to make sure the install got off to a good start.   AC unit install looked good outside and the air handler setup in my attic was an improvement over my old system.  They had to disassemble my attic opening (trim, door, frame) in order to get the handler up to the attic but they did a great job reinstalling it.  System works great!  I would definitely recommend using these guys, or at least getting a quote if/when your unit goes out.  We'll be using them for service moving forward.

Our A/C unit went out at 8:00PM. I got the number for North Valley Mechanical and called NVM immediately. Kirk took my call and said they would contact us the next day.  Kyle at NVM called us the next day in the AM. Dave, the Tech, was at our house at 1:30 PM and completed the repair by 2:30PM. I consider that to be a great professional response and customer service. NVM is now our HVAC service company going forward.

Had to call them out to the house several times (3-4) for the same problem. Was changed a callout fee + parts + labor to do the job- all times. The company would send a different tech each time and it would confuse the process, therefore, the diagnosis always changed. Not responsive to messages over the weekend. Would not recommend

We have been using this company for years and we think of them as extended family because they are always there for us when we need them! They are ethical and honest and have saved us money by finding out when our warranties are up on equipment and always conscious of our budget and our wallet! I would never hire another service EVER! My home warranty company sent this company to my house because my heat wasn't working correctly. We had heat but it wasn't heating all the rooms. The tech went into the attic and came down after 10 minutes saying we don't even have a heater its AC only. I told him to check again, he came back down saying he found the heater but it's not large enough for your whole house, then recommended we just buy some space heaters. Then after he went back up in the attic he comes down and tells us the AC isn't a dual heating and cooling and we need to buy a whole new system. The tech didn't seem like he had any idea of what he was doing and upon calling a different company they came over and found the problem which was only a coil that needed to be replaced not buying a whole new heating system.

Not a huge yelper and I hope my review makes it to the top!  I'm so relieved to know I can trust a company, their techs and office staff.  Companies like this kinda throw you for a loop as you don't expect such amazing service - having been used to the average service professional.  My AC started blowing less cool for about a week, then finally was blowing room temp air.  I panicked as I have a two story townhouse and nobody ever wants to use a 30ft ladder. Jared was awesome... can't say enough about how impressed I am with his professionalism and competency.  Kylie in the office was GREAT also!  She gave me the short time window of arrival.  So impressed... This work was contracted through my home warranty Old Republic.

Can't say enough about how happy we are with David, and North Valley for helping with our AC problem today.  We have a home warranty, and the normal AC company that we have used through them, and have been quite happy with, is no longer contracted with them.  So they have sent  2 different companies come out to the home to look at our unit that has had a drip coming from the attic, into our hallway.   The prior two companies both spent about 5-15 minutes looking around, but never actually going into our attic to see what was wrong.  Both prior AC companies complained that the opening to our attic (we have a historic home built in 1948) was too narrow for the technicians to do anything about it.  The funniest thing is that our house has had numerous people enter the attic through the same opening over the 65 plus years the house has stood.  Both of these AC companies only gave an opinion on what the problem was, without actually going into the attic to investigate where the water was coming from.  After getting told over and over that the company would call and arrange service, and then to have them either not call at all, or not show up when the appointment came--I had had enough.

Feeling extremely frustrated with the excuses from the 2 prior companies, I personally entered the attic via the same opening and saw that the leak was coming from the condensation line.  Finally after getting our HW company to send out a 3rd company, we had David come out this morning and he did a thorough inspection (he actually went into the attic several times) and repaired the line that was leaking, as well as flushing the sediment and residue out of the line.  

It is frustrating that it took us 2 weeks to fix an issue that 2 different AC companies refused to even properly diagnose.  Thankfully, we ended up with David  and North Valley and things got fixed.  If we have issues in the future, we are going to request this company and David to help us with our AC issues.  I only wish our HW company had sent North Valley sooner.

We would highly recommend North Valley Mechanical.

Our tech, Chris, came on time, was very professional, patiently answered our Qs, and most importantly - knew his stuff. He was able to de-bug our issue. And once he knew exactly what was wrong, went and got the needed replacement parts and finished the job.

Our A/C unit is functional again and haven't had the intermittent stoppages that we did previously. Since we had warranty, I specifically requested NVM as the contractor through whom we wanted our repair work done - after reading the reviews on Yelp and Angies list. And we were very satisfied.

Very upset about this company. They came through fidelity national home warranty. My A.C. went out on Saturday the 23rd of July 2016. I called fidelity and they were able to send someone out wensday the 27. I live in az. It's well over 113 degrees. When the technician came out, he first mentioned to my wife that it was the control board not working and made a temporary fix. After an hour it broke again.  By that time I left work early, called north valley mechanical to demand have it done right. Well technician came out 2 hours later and said it was the fan. And they have to order parts. Well now there saying there coming out until Friday the 29th. So yeah almost a week with no ac. This company was very unprofessional and rude when they had to come out the second time. I will never recommend this company or fidelity national home warranty.  Stay away from them if you need the work done right the first time.

I am so thankful to North Valley Mechanical! My AC went out on Friday night, making for an extremely unpleasant night trying to sleep in a 90+ degree house. I literally slept on the concrete floor... desperate times people. Anyway, I put in a request with my home warranty company for service and got back some other AC company that got 1 star reviews... uh, not gonna happen. I called and requested a change in contractor and ended up with N. Valley. Anyway, I called them at 8 am on a Saturday - they aren't technically open, but have a line for emergencies. Called that number and they had someone out at my house by 2 PM.... I was so grateful. The mechanic was professional and said it was an easy fix. He fixed the AC in about 20 minutes.... hooray! I haven't been billed yet, so hopefully it only costs the call fee from the warranty company, but the service I received was excellent. Would recommend.

Our home warranty company sent our NVM to check our HVAC system for us as we were told by another company that it was in bad shape and needed replacement. The NVM serviceman spent a lot of time going over the whole system, checked all the readings the other company did with vastly different results and spent time explaining to my husband that there was nothing wrong with our HVAC system. A few Months back, on a Monday morning and right in the middle of the hottest time of the year, our AC stopped working on us. This was not just a problem because of us getting hot but it was also a big problem for us because we run a small personal training business out of our house. However, Fortunately and thanks to the great social networking group I attend, I already knew about the highly recommended North Valley Mechanical company. Wow!!! .....in Less in a few hours our AC was repaired and up and running which means we didn't have to cancel any of our clients. Plus, our AC runs the best it ever has since the repair. So I called OneGuard Home Warranty to have them send a contractor to conduct an A/C tune up on my house. Overall I am happy with NVM's services. Let me start off by saying I was a bit irritated at first because they scheduled an A/C tune up in the early morning (when temps are cool) and thus could not accurately check the refrigerant level in my A/C unit. The tech explained to me that the unit refrigerant levels could not be checked precisely because it was not Warm enough outside. So I called the Home Warranty company back and told them I paid for 100% service, I expect the services to be 100% completed. So I had to take an extra 4 hours off of work to accommodate another tech to come out to my house and complete the service. Julian was the second tech to arrive and finish up the services. He found one of my A/C units to be a little low on refrigerant so he added some. He also taught me some things about my A/C unit and was very insightful and helpful on this. So I give them 4 stars for completing the work under one work order (I didn't have to pay extra for the second visit--not that I should have) and also for Julian being super friendly, informative and insightful. If they would have done this all 100% on the first visit, I'd have given them 5 stars. Not sure why they schedule A/C tune ups in February bright and early in the Morning if they know going-in that they cannot get accurate readings on refrigerant level in cool morning temps.

I highly recommend North Valley Mechanical. My old AC stopped working and North Valley Mechanical got it running the same day with out over charging me. We would without a doubt recommend NVM to everyone.  Jim Reed spent time to educate us about our options and then helped us to make the right decision for our heating/cooling needs AND budget.  

On day of intstall, Jim showed up with his team, Tim, Victor and Ramon, on time and walked them through the project--he also stopped back in at the end of the day to check on progress.  Their can-do attitude and attention to detail (from install to clean-up) made a dreaded experience a pleasant one.  Jim was our point of contact from beginning to end.  Seriously, who provides this kind of customer service anymore?  Nicely done--Thank you!

Got plugged into them through a claim on my Fidelity Home Warranty and they were fantastic. Fidelity drug their feet on getting stuff ordered and doing what they were supposed to do, but these guys held appointment times and facilitated the repair incredibly well anyway.  Very impressive and totally appreciative of their efforts to get me back in my house ASAP!!!

I would unreservedly use and recommend this team. I did my best to aggravate them, but they hung in -- they said because of my wife.

we had North Valley Mechanical come out to fix our air conditioners.  they were recommended by our home warranty company.  I cannot tell you how pleased I was with them.  not only did they come out at 6 pm but they did everything that they could to make sure my two units were working properly before they left.  our technician was Lay S., he was so friendly and extremely helpful.  he made sure that everything was working and the temperature was going down before he left.  I am sure he did not intend the job taking a couple of hours but I am so thankful for Lay S.  if you ever need service in the west valley Lay S is your man.  he will not steer you wrong.

Wow!  My AC went out on a Thursday afternoon.  Couldn't find any company to come out asap to fix- all booked until Monday.  Outside was 109 degrees and inside of house was 100 degrees.  NV Mechanical came out that Friday and fixed it in 30 mins.   Super nice and professional. My husband, 4 kids, 4 cats and dog were happy again.  Love them!

NVM = not very moral!  Used them via assignment from our home warranty contract administrator.   Their tech arrived to check out minor humming noise with a big hearty smile and told me that he would treat me and our furnaces as good as he treats his own father and his old man's equipment -- I should have smelled the rat right then.  He proceeded to diagnose serious water leak potential from what he described as furnace condensate drain pipes that I subsequently learned from my regular HVAC service company were for air (like the vents above sink traps) -- not even for water -- and posed no threat of the dire consequences that the HVM guy forecasted if we didn't have him do major (read $$$) prevention projects to save us from the imminent flood.   He even told me that his boss was a real stickler -- especially on home warranty contract work -- and that often meant that the warranty insured customer didn't get the repairs that the warranty contract promised unless the homeowner was lucky enough to get this guy to make the service call.   Sounds like this company has real problems within itself and well as with potential customers.  Conclusion:  if it all sounds too good to be true, . . .  well, you know the rest.

Summer is approaching quickly and if you have not had the techs from North Valley Mechanical out to check out your heat pumps and air conditioning you may be in for a really hot time. They do a pre-summer tune up on our two units every year at this time and they are great. They always alert us to potential issues and they have been spot on. This company cares about your comfort, budget, and you. Best AC / Heating company in Phoenix, hands down.

Friends of ours recommended North Valley Mechanical when our A/C wasn't working correctly last week (not blowing cold air).  We called them late Thursday night and set up an appointment for the following morning.  They showed up on time did their deal.  Turns out one of our wires came loose?  Not really sure, but they were in the attic for 10 mins and the A/C was blowing cold again.  I would easily recommend them again.

Kirk is professional, knowledgeable, and a great guy.  I had him install a whole house HEPA system in my new house.  He researched my options, and took in some of the suggestions I had.  End result, he added the filters and also patched up the leaky areas of the existing system.  I never saw him and only communicated over the phone.  But he spent a couple of days doing the work while my house was being renovated.  His price was reasonable and the work and knowledge was top notch.
I sent him an email after moving in after smelling fireplace smoke (from the outside), he scheduled a service call (2hr window) and came out.  To meet him in person just reinforced my original thoughts on him.  He's knowledgeable, professional and a great guy.  He found a couple of areas that weren't sealed on the roof heat pump (from the original install - another company) and checked the attic for additional leaks in the duct work.  He was sweating and dusty and working hard.  When I asked him how much the service charge was, his answer was nothing, I consider this a warrantee call.
Now that's how to run a business!  If you have any HVAC needs, I would definitely give NVM a call!

Talk about pros! I have dealt with more messed up AC units in my last house than most people have in a lifetime. Every summer one of the 2 units would go out. I always tried a new company, but same thing each time. North Valley Mechanical was worlds apart. Great service techs and no more issues. One of our air conditioning units died recently.  After obtaining several quotes, we went with North Valley Mechanical.  Jim R. and his team arrived on time, worked hard and we had air before nightfall.  They also made adjustments that were not a part of the bid, but made for a much more comfortable environment.  We will rely on NVM to maintain the efficiency of our system for years to come and when/if the unit on the opposite side of our home goes out, they are the ones we will call.

I had Kirk and his team replace my two heat pumps in December 13.  They are very knowledgeable.  Worth any difference in cost.  I had three proposals and only N Valley understood my needs and suggested the right units and ducting properly.  We are saving 46% annually on our electric bills.  Much more comfortable cooling/heat.  Continue to get great customer service.  Thank you team North Valley!!

I live in Scottsdale AZ, and when my A/C unit handler in the ceiling was leaking water and stop working after 25 years I called the home warranty company. They told me the company that North Valley Mechanical A/C was going to handle the job. I googled the name, and read some good reviews. They sent out a Mechanic to identify the problem. His name was Zach and this guy knew what he was talking about and his education about these a/c units for condo's would be a hard and difficult task. But, his owner would get back to me to let me know what was involved.Kirk the owner actual shows up later that night and explains that the whole handler is 25 years old and need to get replaced. The home warranty company only pays for the unit. And Install to modify the new unit is a three person job and will last all day. So I call their office and speak to ----KENDRA---- one of the nicest  person to every speak to when your a/c unit needs to be replaced. Kendra set up a time and date. Install date  --enter Victor, Ramon and Tim---these guys get there at 8 am and slowly and carefully remove my old unit, not damaging the walls floors hallway or anything to get it down and out of my place. When they brought it outside and I looked at it, it looked like a bucket of rusted bolts that had seen better days and was dead. Slowly they precisely install new a/c handler and all the parts and elements to fit exactly as it was intended to be installed. At about 8 pm, they finally finish the install and clean up the mess that took them 12 hours to do. I thank them and they leave after a long hard days work. Two days later --Kendra-- the office manager calls to do a follow check to make sure things went well. I tell her that I was very happy with the work there team did and now I have a new A/C handler ready for the summer. Thanks Kirk, your company and TEAM did a great job. This place is unbelievable and not in a good way... North Valley Mechanical was trouble from the very start. If your home warranty company tries to send these folks out, do yourself a favor and insist on another provider. After calling our request into the home warranty company, we were told we'd hear from North Valley within one day. I'm sure you can deduct from the one star rating, that didn't happen... I ended up having to call them Monday morning and thankfully they were able to get a tech out around noon. To this point, we went Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday with no AC. I then made the mistake of checking them out online after this and learned about the experiences of others with home warranties that were subjected to their service and the fact they had Saturday hours and never bothered to call me; so from that point on I knew I wouldn't be doing any additional business with them. It doesn't stop there folks - the tech then refused to perform the repair unless we agreed to have him clean the coils. I don't doubt that the coils were probably dirty, but their pricing was on the high side and I'm already annoyed with them, so this wouldn't be happening. I then called the HVAC company my family has used for about ten years and asked them to come out and clean the coils and they did (for about 2/3 the price including the trip charge compared to what North Valley wanted to charge us and North Valley was already in my driveway). This caused us to lose our Wednesday appointment because our HVAC guy couldn't get out there until Wednesday to clean the coils, pushing North Valley back to Thursday for the repair (now almost a week without AC). I told the rep handling the scheduling at North Valley that no one would be home on Thursday morning and was told that since the unit is on the roof, it was fine and that no one needed to be home. Nonetheless, I received a phone call about 8 AM from the tech asking me if I was home and how to get on the roof... Are you kidding me? I'm no HVAC guru, but common sense would probably dictate with a ladder? About 40 minutes later I get a call from the same brilliant tech trying to tell me that the coils were not cleaned. I had a feeling that would probably happen based on the huge production they have made about it up until this point, so I left the invoice from my contractor under the front doormat. The tech proceeds to argue with me, telling me that an invoice from a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor doesn't mean that the service was actually performed. Excuse me? Let's just say that after talking to his boss (who appears to be the owner's wife and acted like she was doing me some huge favor) and pressing the issue, the home warranty repair was made. I'm thankful for my working AC, but what a fiasco! Why put up with their condescending attitudes, holding home warranty repairs hostage unless you do additional business with them, poor internal communication, and poor follow through? They deserve a negative star rating, but since that isn't possible, I'll give them one star. Clearly, I'd have to say you can do better than North Valley Mechanical for your HVAC needs.

Highly Recommend- I had a maintenance agreement with another company but continued to have problems so I asked my friends and family who they would recommend.  It turns out my parents had used North Valley Mechanical and suggested I give them a call.  The lady who took my call was very nice and made sure I got to speak with the owner, Kirk.  At the time I was mostly interested in getting general pricing for replacing my hvac.  Kirk took the time to give me different options and offered to come by when it was convenient for me.  Life got busy and I didn't follow up until 60 days later when my hvac broke again.  By now it was over 100 degrees and they were very busy.  Kirk told me he had appointments all day but would do his best to fit me in asap.  He ended up coming over that same evening after he finished his other appointments and was probably exhausted.  He wanted to make sure my family didn't have to go any longer than necessary without air conditioning.  Kirk found problems that my other company had either caused or ignored.  He did not disparage them, instead he quickly did what was need to get us cooled off and promised a return visit the following day to make sure we were happy and to give us a quote on a new unit just in case (my unit is 16 years old).  I know there are some reviews from others that are less than 5 stars but I give you my word, this is a very good, highly reputable, and CARING company.  I look forward to many more years of being a loyal customer of North Valley Mechanical.

North Valley Mechanical completed significant A/C work at my office condo.  One office was very hot.  They installed a larger air supply duct, moved a thermostat and added an outside air supply.  Everything is working great.  They showed up on time and completed the work in 1-day.  They put down drop cloths and were very careful not to make a mess, even though the work involved a lot of cutting and sawing.  Would highly recommend.

A couple of weeks ago my 18 year old AC finally gave up the ghost...I called 4 AC companies to get quotes. All of the companies that came were quick to offer various levels of replacement units.  ranging from 5,300 to 10,100.  North Valley Mechanical came to me through a referral from a friend...but that is not why I went with them...We setteled on North Valley Mechanical because it was the owner of the company that came to our home...provided the quote and walked me through what a properly installed unit would do for us.  He took his time and helped me understand how improtant it would be to add a second air return and how the ducting needed to be redone in places for the new unit to properly move air through our home.  When I decided to go with North Valley...I told Kirk (the owner) that I would like to not have the 2nd air return installed.  That would save some money and my old unit worked fine (so I though) for 18 years without it.  He encouraged me to rethink that and let him know.  I went with his recomendation and Im very happy we did.  The install of the new unit was a difficult attic install and Kirk and his team were there for about 12 hours.  They did an amazing job and the install area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived.  Can't say enough good things about this company!!!!!
 I can barely hear the new unit running and it's a very good feeling to know we made a great decision...
If you're looking to replace your AC unit I would highly recommend that you let North Valley Mechanical provide a quote and walk you through your options.

Not very impressed with these guys. They were dispatched by my warranty company to look at a very loud knocking noise from my AC unit. Of course it was normal - just like when you take your car to the dealer for an odd noise. Anyway, the guy wants to check out my returns and opens the area where my filter is at. He claims it's in absolutely horrible shape and needs to be re-outfitted with some new insulation. Okay, no problem. I told them to call me next week so we could schedule the appointment. I made it very clear I wanted it done next week. I think the guy was too busy bragging about all of his certification badges that he forgot to write down my request. Oddly, 5 minutes after he leaves he comes back saying ya know what, your situation is so bad I want to take some pictures to show in a training seminar. I let him take the pics and at this point i'm thinking wow, this needs to get done asap. So the following week I call them and the women on the phone was confused as to what my request was for since apparently they are not used to getting calls outside of warranty of work.  She claims they'll call me back that same day. Two days later I follow up and she claims we never spoke previously but they would call me right back. Never heard back from them. Kirk the owner is a stand up guy and I would recommend his services to anyone. Kirk knows what he is doing and treats you with respect. He will not try to push any extras on you.  You will get quality honest work from him.

This company has been amazing!  My system was as challenging as they come.  These people went above and beyond to make sure I was not inconvenienced.  Unfortunately for Shaun R. we are contacts in each others cell phones because he and his team kept my antiquated Trane running down the track!  They were so prompt and professional I was willing to just give them their own key!  It was like they were working on their own system at home!  When I first contracted with them 3 years ago they did my first bi-annual cleaning.  If they only knew what they were in for!  The previous owner painted the full interior of the house with the AC RUNNING!  So, what a surprise?  The whole system was painted inside as well.  They tore this unit down piece by piece until it was back to normal operation.  Can't say they made any $ on me!  They didn't care!  They never left my home unless I was completely satisfied.  Do I recommend them?  With all due respect, you'd be foolish not to have them.

do not use anyone except north valley mechanical! period. end of story. this company is beyond superb! kirk and robert are perfectionists! you wont get better than this company. their customer service is beyond excellent.  they truly care about their customers.  being a phoenix native(realizing the importance of a great a/c unit & installation) i have never experienced such workmanship, professionalism, follow-through.
