Best Roofing Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

WOW... Such a difference since Diamond Roofing did my house and detached garage back in 2017!
I called them yesterday, 8/1/2022 because the monsoon storms have produced two small leaks in our Master Bath (Flat Roof area).
I was told that I would get a call back in the Afternoon.
No Call Back!
on 8/2/2022 I tried calling at shortly after 8 AM and just now at 11:15AM. No answer, and it rolled over to voice mail and stated to leave a message. WELL, now their mail box is full and you cannot leave a message!
Such different service from what we received in 2017.
Will try again, as their 10 year warranty states it is void if others do repair work!

They contacted me about 2 hours after I posted.. and came right our to find the problem and fixed the problem.

Over the years I have had many contractors do work for me and my business, some were very good others should never had been in the trade. Recently I was in the need of a new roof on my home so I asked for recommendations and Freddy's Roofing was one of them.  He came out gave me an estimate of the work along with some suggestions, not pushing just letting me know what options I had.  When I decided the work had to be done I called Freddy's Roofing  the process was started, a time table was given to me and the final cost was also put in writing.   Freddy and his crew are OUTSTANDING they did the work on time and the quality is unmatched.  There are many people that practice a trade but few are of the quality and craftsmanship of Freddy and his crew.  From arriving on time to the final clean up which was perfect and pleased my wife they went about their business in a professional and courteous manner.  I highly recommend Freddy's Roofing LLC and his crew of craftsmen.

I got to give Marvin a hand. He helped me do all last minute touch ups needed and install a few indoor signs so I can have a presentable grand opening. Him and his crew where at my office all day Sunday so that everything will be ready. I have even recommend Marvin to a few if my clients and they all love his service.

Located off of Yelp! Called for clay tile inspection and repair after a moderate leak was found from the recent storms.  Very nice guy, answered the phone, professional and honest. Said his schedule is heavily booked out at this time and if I wanted the job done expeditiously he wouldn't be able to help. Even though I didn't get to experience his work, I experienced his superior customer service and I appreciate his care and honesty as a homeowner.

Rick Amaral is the owner of this company, which is now called Superior Foam Roofing. I had two flat roofs which were leaking or had leaked in the past - one on the second story, and  a patio roof with solar panels. I had 4 roofers out to look at it and and each were concerned about where the water was coming from, but none of them recommended foam. Rick was confident that he could take care of the problem and because of his reviews, and expertise, I decided he was the best option. His pricing was half what another roofing companies wanted to charge me. But the clincher was, with foam, I didn't have to remove the Solar Panels (which would have been $5,000. Rick and his crew removed shingles to find where the leak was coming from, so there was no question! He not only foamed the patio roof, but also other nearby areas where water was coming in through the shingled roof above the patio. He gave an excellent warranty and said his company comes out once a year to re-coat at no charge. If you are considering a foam roof, definitely call Rick! You won't be sorry!

I give 5  to Rick.. I called him once to check the roof inspection and he did honest feedback and advises to fix it as well... I called him for other new home buying inspection he did awsome job and gave correct feedback.  He is an awsome reliable person

Had them do a tear off and re-shingle of my house with a leaking roof. Super responsive and very good at communicating. Out the next day for a quote and from down payment to done roof in a week. Dominick the owner takes his time to listen to concerns and explain things in understandable way. The work crew is awesome. Timely, courteous and hard working. Highly recommended them and they are now my go to company for any construction/contractor needs.

If you need a new roof, save yourself the hassle and time of scheduling estimates (like I did) and just call Ray out. I had several companies come out when we needed a new roof at our home in Tempe. Ray was the only one who came out and gave a direct, honest price without taking a ton of time or any hidden or extra fees that may come up, etc. I'm super happy with his company- super reliable, efficient, and responsive. He even gave me great referrals for paint and air conditioning. I'd give him 5 stars just for being honest and up front with his pricing. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for someone trustworthy who has a crew that does quality work and won't overcharge you, Roger is great.

I had two other companies come by to give me a quote.  One came over and then never sent a quote back.  The other tried to convince me that half my roof needed to be replaced!  

As a single, full-time working mom that goes to school part-time, the whole idea of a roof repair was stressful and terrifying before Roger came over.  I'm so glad my friend recommended him!

We just had our entire 25 year old roof replaced and we can't say enough good things about Gecko roofing!  It was such a pleasure to work with a company who does what they say they will!  The roofers were friendly, efficient, cleaned up every day when they were done and did high quality work for a very fair price.  Michael is very professional and has an eye for detail.  The process couldn't have gone smoother and the new roof looks absoultely beautiful.  The day that they finished, they left with everything looking as if they'd never been here.  Highly recommended!

I got an estimate on Saturday and my new roof was installed the next Tuesday! Wowza!  Super fast process identifying our roof issues and competitive pricing.  We are looking forward to a leak free monsoon season this year.

Roof Replacement
Truebuilt just completed a complete teardown and replacement of my entire roof.    They did an EXCELLENT job in all areas.  

My situation started when 3 other roofers told me my roof was damaged due to wind-and required immediate replacement.  My insurance adjuster said roof was in excellent condition. (hmm)

Weston came to inspect my roof.  He provided the most honest assessment of my roof's condition.  He felt the roof could go another year or so before needing replaced.  Other roofers clearly felt such feedback would lose them a job.  

I am considering solar panels, so chose to replace the roof now.  Weston's estimate was lowest of three I received, but I had already decided to go with Truebuilt (Weston) as long as his estimate was reasonable (clearly it was).      

The work was completed in the time Weston initially projected.  The workmanship was superb.  The cleanup was excellent.  The roof looks fantastic.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRUEBUILT and WESTON for any roofing needs you have.   I have found my 'roofer for life'.

Had water coming into the house after some pretty rough storms, I went to Angie's list to find help on a Friday, we were going out of town on that following Tuesday.

Anthony contacted me within minutes of my inquiry, was at my house within the hour, and had an estimate for us within 2 hours.

Given my individual situation, he moved some things around to ensure that we were taken care of prior to leaving town for vacation.

I cannot put a price on the peace of mind this allowed me while away.

His crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and diligently to repair our roof. The price was fair if not more than fair. The effort was a above and beyond as was the communication.

I % recommend these guys. They won't bandaid your roof, they will repair it. maybe that isn't what you think you want but, trust me, it is definitely what you need.

10/10 all the way around.

Do yourself a solid and just call these guys first. it will save you time, money, headache, and stress.

My wife and I went to the Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show on 7/17/22 and visited the Armoured Construction table since we were looking for a company to do some assorted jobs, including hanging a new front door, installing a backsplash in our kitchen, and installing tile in four bedrooms and a small office. The people at the Armoured table were essentially placeholders--they were there to hand out cards and pamphlets but not to discuss jobs or talk in any detail about services; apparently, the brains of the operation--Roberto--wasn't at the Home & Landscape Show on the day we were there.

The booth attendees were at least able to confirm that Roberto did all of the jobs were were interested in so we took a business card and a 10% off flyer.

I called Armoured on 7/18 and spoke with Jennifer who said Roberto had just left the office, but that she'd have him call me. Roberto did leave a message the next morning. I returned his call, described my projects and he confirmed he could do all of them. Robert said he was driving, but that as soon as he got to his destination, he would check on the price of a door installation and give me a price right away since the door size is a standard, 36 x 80, and there was no need for Roberto to see anything in order to quote me a price. We then agreed he would come to my house on Friday, 7/22 at 10 a.m. to discuss my other projects, and he asked me to text him my address, which I did immediately after our call. My text included my address, confirmed the time/date of our appointment, and included the following: If, for any reason, you can't make it, please let me know.

I never did receive the promised quote for hanging a new front door, and 10 a.m. on Friday, 7/22 came and went without Roberto showing up, calling, or texting to let me know he wasn't coming over. Basically, I was ghosted.

I waited 24 hours before posting this review on the off-chance Roberto would realize he'd piddled down the front of his pants by missing our appointment without so much as a call or text, thinking maybe an emergency  had come up and I'd get an apology and a request to reschedule. But, I've heard nothing.

Reliability is important, and I have a hard-and-fast rule when hiring contractors for ANY job: IF THEY'RE NOT GOING TO DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY'LL DO WHEN THEY SHOULD BE TRYING TO EARN MY BUSINESS, THERE'S NO REASON TO BELIEVE THEY'LL DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO ONCE THEY HAVE IT. Needless to say, Roberto and Armoured will never have my business, so the 10% off coupons Armoured was handing out at the Home & Garden Show were worth 10% of nothing.

I've had several positive encounters with this company spanning many years, but today I am motivated to post about a particularly remarkable experience. We are selling our home so we were subjected to the ubiquitous home inspection. The findings surprised me when it was indicated we had several areas of substandard flashing around vents and chimneys. We had a minor leak in 9-14 around one of the chimneys, the first problem in the eleven years since our new roof was installed. Sunvek came out, after our warranty had expired, determined the cause, and made the necessary repair at no charge. They even replaced a couple of broken tiles from a supply I had retained all these years in my storage shed. In addition, a general inspection was performed that made me feel confident things were in order for any future buyer. Now, another contractor evaluates the roof as a follow up to the home inspection, takes liberty to expand on what was needed to satisfy his own pockets and gives me an estimate of $750 to complete the work. The guy has no idea that I had the Sunvek inspection done only 7 months earlier. I smelled a rat, and told the guy as much. I also complained to my realty company, who sent the idiot out. I called Sunvek, presented them with the home inspection report, and waited for their evaluation. The owner personally came to the house today. He admitted the vents needed updating, made the repairs, and then double checked all flashings, etc., finding no deficiencies. He said he would write a report to the general inspector and guarantee the roof to my buyer. The charge for this service? A donation to the company coffee fund. I gave him all the cash (less than $100) in my wallet, and we were done. This is a remarkable example of customer service. Especially since I represent no future opportunity for business. I hope by posting my experience I can pay it forward with gratitude, and that Sunvek will acquire a customer from someone reading this.

Unfortunately this company is not competitive with their quotes.  I received three quotes to replace my metal roof and the other two were $7000 to $8000 less. Don't be fooled by the materials have gone up in price speech. What has gone up is the amount of profit.  

Platforms like yelp should be used not only for quality of work but also personal experience and warnings of predatory practices and pricing. Mission maybe established.  I really don't know.  I did find an open complaint on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors which caused additional concern.
