I would have written this review sooner, but we've been too busy enjoying our new bathrooms!

My wife and I bought a home back in Feb.'17 and wanted a remodel to both bathrooms that included an expansion to the main bathroom by moving some walls and plumbing in an oversized laundry room.

It was our first remodel, and all we knew of remodels was that there are a million shows on television about them, and there's always a problem.  With that in mind, we were very open to the following:

1) things will probably cost more as the project goes on

2) it may not be done on time

3) our living situation will not be ideal for a few weeks

And those things happened. All of them. All we could do was manage our expectations. DJ, who was our point of contact for the remodel, managed everything else.

He was great at communicating our options. He returned a call within hours of us leaving a message. Every time. When we had an issue with something, he reacted.

That last paragraph is important.

Almost as important as the finished product.

I kid you not, I was taking 2 showers a day in that first month, just because I loved being in that bathroom.

Should we ever need another remodel to our home, I've got DJ's number in my phone.

They are very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt.  They installed our new dishwasher, stove and kitchen water fixture and everything works great.  I would not hesitate to use them again.

I needed to install a new electrical outlet in my bathroom. Kristin responded very quickly and was able to schedule an in-person quote a couple of days later. Jacob called 30ish minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and they arrived as expected. They were able to give me a quote within 3-5 minutes which I agreed to and then they were able to complete the install right there within 45ish minutes. They did a great job and cleaned up any mess that was made. Will use them in the future for any electrical needs and highly recommend.

I been trying to get some work done for sometime and one certain company that I had an appointment with for 3 weeks flaked out so I called Mark. He was out within an hour and got the job done for a reasonable price. I know who i will call from now on. Thanks Mark

I had an electrical issue that turned off my A/C on a very hot day, called the company and spoke to 2 people, said they would call me in the morning and let me know when they could come out, but they never called back.  Must not need the business.  Disappointing.

A couple panel change jobs. More to come. Jason and company is ready for the job. Will not disappoint.

Excellent Service! Everybody from the Boss on down treated us with respect (yes sir, no sir, etc)! We needed a 50A service installed for our RV and Colter Electric installed it Quick, Clean, and Professionally! Works GREAT! If you need an electrician CALL Colter Electric!

We were without electricity to our water heater and master bedroom and had a poor experience with a bigger name electric company that was unable to fix the problem in a timely manner.  After contacting numerous other electricians that had either a 2 week wait or did not call me back, I was about to reach Alen the same day and he and his crew came out the next morning.  They were friendly, professional and efficient. We will definitely use again and highly recommend them.

We just bought a house that needed quite a lot of electrical work. Byler Electric was recommended to me. Dan is super nice and I totally recommend his company, and his crew they were awesome. This company,and Dan for sure, will be my go to electrician.

It is no secret that I am not very handy around the house.  I like to tinker but when electricity is involved I tend to not deal with it.  So, when my backyard floodlights weren't working, I knew I needed professional help.

After a quick Yelp search I found Micor and decided to give them a call based solely on their reviews.  They sent a person out to my house within a half hour and had my lights working not long after.

The best part is that I wasn't even home.  I arranged it all from my workplace.  Sure it was a little bit sketchy having a stranger in my backyard doing god knows what because of a problem I probably described poorly.....but it all turned out ok.  I tested the light after I got home then called their office to pay.

I hope I don't have any electrical problems in the future, but if I do I will call Micor.

Rex and his crew are a rarity in this area.  Great communication, honest work, honest price.  Put the number in your address book and use it for future reference.   Looking forward to the next project, and would be the first call for the trouble calls.

Met Garret of Winn Electric Services during the inspection process for my new home.  An inspector had suggested wiring may have been aluminum and would need remediation.   I contacted with Garrett about the potential problem and he responded rapidly and was willing to talk with me about potential remediation.  After purchase of the home we found out the wiring was NOT in need of changes, but we liked Garrett so much from our prior interaction we asked him to install numerous new lights and electric outlets in our new home.  He was a real positive can do person with all our requests.  He even did several tasks that were non electrical such as removing blinds from a very tall living room entry way window.  He arrived on time for installation, did the word accurately and rapidly and was very neat.  He was professional and very affordable.  After he left we developed problems in a ventilation fan that was NOT a part of any work he did.  When we contacted him by text for advice he again responded immediately and came out to the house first thing in the morning to remedy the problem.  His work and work ethic are fabulous.  We are so happy to have a great electrician we can count on.  We highly recommend him

Victor is the most professional and nicest contractor that we had the pleasure of working with!  He was able to come out within hours of calling him and his prices are super reasonable!  We called him for one project but quickly found out he does almost everything!  He installed new ac vents in our kitchen, new outlets on our patio and next to our back door, changed out all of our old outlets throughout our house, installed new fans, light fixtures, and the most dramatic, beautiful under cabinet led lighting in our kitchen! His customer service is superior!!!  He went above and beyond to help us with our house projects!  I highly recommend Victor for your home repair and projects!!

The technician we had - Donny - was very professional and kind. I would give him 5 stars.
However, there are multiple reasons why I would not recommend George Brazil and won't use it again.

One - the company had a $93 special for a drain cleaning and camera inspection. I was told on the phone that I would pay 59 for coming out and if we qualified for the 93, the 59 would be waived. I explained in detail my problem, especially that this was in the kitchen drain. We suspected a small leak somewhere so we really wanted the camera inspection.
When Donny came out he told us that they don't run the camera through kitchen drains. I should have been told that fact at the phone - Most likely I would have gone with someone else.

Two - Donny cleaned out the drain from the outer clean-out, there seems to have been a clog so that was successfully removed. We discussed the possibility of a crack in the drain and Donny gave us a rough estimate to replace the drain - around $2000, close to $3000 if we wanted the wall fixed after.

Three - I talked to a friend who told me they had their entire brick house - 1000 sqft drains replaced a few years back, including the drains to the street, ALL for $2000. Yet, George Brazil wants to charge more than that for a relatively easy accessible drain? Insane!

Four - We got water leaking again the next day (thank goodness, so that we investigated further) Because my husband is handy and I don't have 3000 laying around, my husband opened the brick wall from inside and located the leak within 2 hours, a hole as big as a finger! He is currently working on fixing it and will do so probably under $50.

Five - I got two estimates, one that included a $140 Silver plumbing membership. I was not told about this, and there was no info in the estimate. I did call and Donny explained the charge very promptly. But I am still not happy with stuff like that being snuck into an estimate. This is the reason why I am often so hesitant in getting home services because it seems so many companies are just not honest and upfront.
Should have checked yelp first as I usually do.
