Called twice and sent a text for a question about completed work and another project. No response. Not sure why and not thrilled about it.

My pregnant wife scheduled Bob to come over to have a look at my house so I could go over all of the things we wanted to do (move some walls and add an office and a closet and update the kitchen etc). Bob arrived and greeted me with a long story about how another customer's pug bit him on the genitals before we even said hi to each other.

I moved past it and started walking him through our house trying to show him the things I wanted to do. He apparently doesn't have very good spacial awareness because as I was explaining the moving of walls and doors, he never fully grasped the concepts - he was unable to visualize what I was talking about.

Three other contractors at this point had gone through the same tour with me and took measurements and made drawings and took notes. Bob did none of that. As we were going through the kitchen, he stopped me and asked if I had an interior designer who was going to draw up plans. I told him that my wife set up our meeting and that I thought I was just going to go over the basics of what we wanted and explained that a couple other places had taken measurements and whatnot as we went along and presented their plans/designs based on my explanation along with an estimate.

He started getting aggressive really quickly - which baffled the shit out of me - and started talking to me about how he could measure [my kitchen counter] and be 2 inches different from the other guy and come out with a bid that was $10,000 more. I mean, I am pretty sure that all tape measures are based on the same standard units, so... otherwise they wouldn't be used to measure things, right? I didn't say that, but it was a really weird thing to say to me.

At this point, I said I totally didn't expect any sort of set-in-stone budget or drawings or anything - I did start reiterating that I just thought he was going to come over to get an idea of what I wanted and we would go from there, but he interrupted me to say if this is how we're starting off, then it's best I just leave or something to that effect, and starts stomping towards my front door. I say what? why? I didn't do anything to you... why are you...? And he slams my front door behind him and then slams my front gate and then slams his car door and then revs his thirsty truck engine and then turns around in front of my house and then spins his tires to drive away... Minutes later, he cancels the calendar invite like a psycho.

I'm REALLY glad he left. Better he left now than in the middle of a job. He's SUPER unstable. His giant truck is covered in Americana and flags and eagles and stuff from what I could tell - maybe he could tell I'm an anti-war socialist from the cut of my sweatpants. I can be difficult to work with at times, but I know when I'm being difficult and when I'm being super nice and easy going - if this was my fault, I would admit it. I did nothing that I can think of to set him off. Best I can figure is he saw a Bernie Sanders sticker on my car or doesn't like cats or - most likely - he realized he was completely in over his head with our project.

Maybe all he can do is patch some drywall or manage someone while they lay tile. It's just a bizarre and totally unprofessional way to decline a job. I never swore at him. I never said anything sarcastic or rude. I didn't talk down to him... I assumed he knew more about what he did than I did and admitted that my wife set it up and I was just doing what I thought I was supposed to do (which was to say things like I'd like to move this door over here and get rid of this wall and open up this room to be an office - hoping for some guidance.

This part is supposed to be sort of fun. Planning stuff out. It gets harder and more tedious and you get more impatient as the project goes along. I support veterans and local businesses, but this guy scared me, and if I knew it was going to go this way at all, I wouldn't have told him where I live or had him over to my house. I would advise you to do the same unless you just need to patch a wall or something simple maybe - just don't come to him with a larger project that involves any sort of vision or dialogue. I'm just thankful he didn't kick my animals on his way out. Hopefully he didn't vandalize my car - gonna have to review the security footage.

(Edit - I don't think he did anything to my car, but I got him on my security cam storming off and slamming my gate and also talking about getting bitten by a dog before we even say hi.)

They are very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt.  They installed our new dishwasher, stove and kitchen water fixture and everything works great.  I would not hesitate to use them again.

On time, I really needed someone next day, and they had a slot for me.  Jacob came out and took a look at the box and explained that it had doubles and triples on circuits and the new box was not simple b/c of codes.  Needed the facts so we can make a fair decision.  I'm not an electrician and Jacob didn't make me feel like I needed to be one as he explained everything in layman's terms.  Super helpful and I am so glad we went with Johnson Power Solutions.  I'd use them again and it appears I will be in the future to knock this out.

I received Mark's name and the All Amps contact information thru a request for an electrician on a neighborhood app and I'm so glad I did!  Mark is extremely thorough, professional and courteous.  He came onsite and provided an itemized quote to wire and install 2 ceiling fans.  His quote was very reasonable and competitive.  He was also communicative and kept me in the loop regarding the scheduling of my job.
On the day of installation, Mark and his assistant arrived at my house exactly when expected.  They assembled both fans, completed the wiring of the switch and had them installed and running in less than 90 minutes.  
I could not be happier with Mark and the outstanding service provided by All Amps.  I will never use another electrician and you shouldn't either :)

I would definitely use Desert Mountain electric again! Called an hour before they arrived to tell me they were on their way. Showed up right when they said they would.
Miguel was courteous and kept the work area clean. He gave me some options when we were discussing what I wanted done and was happy to do what I asked.

Del informed me of the time he would arrive.  Upon arrival Del was pleasant and welcoming to share his findings of the problem.  Took him 20 mins to identify the issue and resolved the power outlet issue.  It was a very good experience.  Thank you.

Alen was fantastic. He responded to my message immediately. I explained what the issues were with my range. He was very responsive. He told me his price to come check it out and told me he could be there within the hour, and he was. He listened to me and was attentive to what I needed to happen. He got to work and found the issue almost immediately. The circuit breaker needed to be replaced. He fixed it and charged a fair price. He showed me that the issue was resolved and triple checked the range to make sure it worked. He also alerted me to an issue I knew existed but hoped I had more time to fix. He explained what was happening and what could happen in the near future, but did not pressure me to make a decision. He even suggested I get other quotes if I wanted. He quoted me a very good price compared to the estimates I received before. I will be working with Alan again, and will definitely refer his company moving forward.

We just bought a house that needed quite a lot of electrical work. Byler Electric was recommended to me. Dan is super nice and I totally recommend his company, and his crew they were awesome. This company,and Dan for sure, will be my go to electrician.

I need a outlet put in my garage. I called Micor and Ronnie called me back a little while later. He came to give me an estimate very quickly and were reasonable. After my esitimate, he did the work immediately. If you mention yelp, you get a little discount. I would highly recommend this company.

Met Garret of Winn Electric Services during the inspection process for my new home.  An inspector had suggested wiring may have been aluminum and would need remediation.   I contacted with Garrett about the potential problem and he responded rapidly and was willing to talk with me about potential remediation.  After purchase of the home we found out the wiring was NOT in need of changes, but we liked Garrett so much from our prior interaction we asked him to install numerous new lights and electric outlets in our new home.  He was a real positive can do person with all our requests.  He even did several tasks that were non electrical such as removing blinds from a very tall living room entry way window.  He arrived on time for installation, did the word accurately and rapidly and was very neat.  He was professional and very affordable.  After he left we developed problems in a ventilation fan that was NOT a part of any work he did.  When we contacted him by text for advice he again responded immediately and came out to the house first thing in the morning to remedy the problem.  His work and work ethic are fabulous.  We are so happy to have a great electrician we can count on.  We highly recommend him

From the first call for an estimate to the final connection made at our home, the Castlegate team of professionals performed to the highest of standards.  It was no uncomplicated task upgrading our older home's electrical system to accommodate an 80 amp, 240 Hz circuit for our new charging station. Ted and the crew overcame an I-beam obstacle in our intended new wire's path and got the job done on time and in a very professional manner.  Both the crew and the estimator arrived on time and the team worked steadily for 7 hours until the job was completed.  They became the approved vendor in our household for our future electrical needs and we would recommend them highly.

Landscape lighting was a large financial investment for us and we wanted to make sure that we had a company that was going to do it right.  After researching and interviewing 4 or 5 companies we decided to go with Innovative lighting.  From the beginning they were open to answering my on-going questions, where others were not.
Chad, the owner of Innovative Lighting, did a fantastic job for us.  What was even more amazing was their follow through.  We had an initial issue with the brass light fixtures, we felt the light that was being projected seemed dull and not as bright as we wanted.   Chad came out at night and completely agreed.  He called the manufacturer and explained the situation and said you need to fix this.  Only, because of Chad's persistence, the manufacturer finally agreed to paint the interior of the brass fixture white, leaving the natural brass exterior.  It was a profound difference, giving us the look we expected with our outdoor lighting.   We could not believe how Innovative lighting went above and beyond to meet our expectations.   We highly recommend this company.  Honest people, who do the right thing!

Victor is the most professional and nicest contractor that we had the pleasure of working with!  He was able to come out within hours of calling him and his prices are super reasonable!  We called him for one project but quickly found out he does almost everything!  He installed new ac vents in our kitchen, new outlets on our patio and next to our back door, changed out all of our old outlets throughout our house, installed new fans, light fixtures, and the most dramatic, beautiful under cabinet led lighting in our kitchen! His customer service is superior!!!  He went above and beyond to help us with our house projects!  I highly recommend Victor for your home repair and projects!!

Had a good experience with the George Brazil crew.  Altho I contacted them on a weekend for a non-emergency, they were able to get me scheduled for Monday.   They called to confirm the appt and sent a confirming email and another one to introduce my tech John, to provide his photo, and to let me know that John was on his way.
The technician was very thorough and was able to quickly diagnose the reason that the circuit kept blowing--cat hair in the surge protector!! He also gave me some recommendations on standardizing and upgrading my electrical service.  John was very patient with my little yappy dog.  All in all, I had a very good experience with George Brazil.  I do have to say, as others have mentioned, that they are a little pricey--but at least John was able to give me the cost up front.
