Dylan Electric installed our solar system at a fraction of the cost of what those big-business/wham bam companies charge. The major solar companies slap a few solar panels up in a quick and dirty manner and you end up leasing the panels for nearly a lifetime; you are lucky to see any savings. Dylan Electric offers a greatly superior service. They help you analyze your average electricity use to help you determine how many solar panels you need, and then install enough to cover your whole usage. Additionally, we were able to purchase our panels without having to lease them. We haven't had an electricity bill (other than mandatory fees of less than $30/month) since our solar system went live over two years ago. This system will pay for itself in about 4 years and after that, we will not be paying for electricity! And our bill used to average $437 per month. We did have a recent problem with an inverter and Dylan Electric came over and got the system promptly restarted, free of charge. If you are considering going solar, and you definitely should be!, Dylan Electric is the way to go!

Shon has been amazing to work with. He is professional, reliable, and he and his team do an excellent job. We've worked with Shon on multiple projects. He fully installed the electric in our newly built home office. His price was highly competitive and he and his team did the work in record time. Shon talked me through the process the whole way through. Recently we had him replace and install a large designer ceiling fan in our living room and he voiced his concerns about the fan we first purchased and sure enough it was defective. We ended up going with his recommendation for another ceiling fan and he came back the next morning and installed it without issue. Michelle was the second electrician I had come in to quote replacing kitchen fluorescent lighting with canned lighting.  Not only was her bid considerably less than the other, she took the time to find out what I was ultimately hoping to accomplish and offered suggestions to make things easier for me down the road when the next update happens.  For me this sealed the deal.  I am very happy and would highly recommend Michelle.

Our mobile office was in the middle of a renovation and during the process a few of our outlets stopped working. I called around to several other electrical companies that either didn't pick up or couldn't come out until the following week. I called Star Light and someone immediately picked up and said they could take care of me later that afternoon. They showed up on time and repaired our issue at a great price. I referred them to my family for electrical work around their home and they were also extremely happy with the service! Highly recommend!

Did not have a good experience with this company.  Came into my home and was unprofessional by talking smack about another electrician while on the job.  May not have noticed that I was listening but nonetheless, should keep that type of chatter to themselves.  In addition, the work was not done appropriately and I had to call another electrician in.  I would instead recommend Anthem Electric.

Bruce from Tymeson Electric was prompt and courteous in his reply to my initial request for a quote. He made a site visit and provided a detailed quote that was very reasonable and fair. Once accepted, the job was promptly scheduled.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Sonya arrived at the beginning of my two hour window, quickly diagnosed my problem, and corrected several poor wiring problems in my breaker box, which she said had not been properly installed years ago at build time. Two wires were badly burned and could have started a fire.

She was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
