CastleGate Electric is a division of CastleGate, Inc., and provides complete electrical contracting services to fit the specialty needs of our clients. Our electrical division was born out of a need to maintain the high standards of our building practices throughout all phases of our commercial and residential work. Our staff brings high-level experience with all-things electrical, from custom home electrical design and installation to building charging stations for the latest auto technology(see next paragraph below), Castlegate sets the standard and strives to keep our staff up-to-date on latest technology and innovations, whether in construction techniques or as smart technology solutions in the finished environment. CastleGate Electric has been chosen to apply its expertise in the construction of residential car charging stations for Telsa Motors and Solar City throughout the state of Arizona. As the preferred electricians, CastleGate Electric offers various types of wall charging installations, from high-powered wall chargers to NEMA mobile connectors. On the industrial side, Telsa plans an expansion of free Supercharger stations to allow Model S owners to travel for free and with minimal stops between cities along well-traveled highways in North America and Europe. Superchargers provide half a charge in about 20 minutes.

I purchased a Tesla Model X in 2016 and went to Tesla's website right after I ordered it to see what I needed to do to install a charger in my garage. I contacted Castle Gate Electric since it was one of the recommended electrical contractors and was highly rated in Yelp. My home was built in 1952 and had had several remodels, including several electrical patches. Tyler came to my house and inspected all of the equipment. He told me that I needed to upgrade the electrical service and I agreed. Well it turned into a long term project due to a lot of things beyond Castle Gate's control. However, they persisted through the many requirements mandated by APS and finished the installation yesterday. I am pleased with the result and in particular, their attention to detail. I highly recommend Castle Gate Electric.

Had a Tesla Wall Charger installed in my home, paid in full and my Tesla arrived five months later. Charger did not work, called multiple numbers, no answer, no response. No tech support number and no way to get anyone on the phone. Do not use this company save yourself from the hassle and go with another company.

WARNING!!! If I could give less than one star I would, but to leave a review you have to give at least one! Got a quote from CastleGate for my TESLA home charger install, was happy with it, so signed a contract with them. All of that happened three weeks ago. After MULTIPLE attempts over the last three weeks to schedule the work by calling not only the office, but the technicians direct cell phone, and MULTIPLE messages left on BOTH voicemail systems all have been unanswered! Pathetic CUSTOMER SERVICE which is extremely uncommon for a TESLA approved vendor. They need to be removed from TESLA's electrician list. I am contacting TESLA next!
Use anyone else on the list!!!

Castle Gate electric Team is a DREAM! I called to schedule the appointment and spoke with Tonette, I told her that we were kind of in a hurry and she scheduled Rick to come out on a Weekend... Which was incredible...!!! We have a new construction home, so the gps gave the wrong address to Rick and he was very kind and took time from his weekend to drive 1.5 hours to our house.... I really appreciated it... Then they were able to have Clif (the installer) come after another project, which was also over an hour away... Everything went very smooth and with great customer service.... I highly recommend their services to ANY Tesla Owners...!!!

I had a fantastic experience using Castlegate to install a Tesla charging station in my garage. They were professional, prompt and communicated well. The job was not an easy one as a lot of cable had to be buried and driveway pavers had to come up, however they coordinated all the work end to end and the results were excellent. Would highly recommend and use them again.

I needed a Tesla charging station installed in my home and it was a complex job due to distance between my electrical panel (had to go up two floors through my ceiling, across the roof, and back down). Not only was Castlegate the most competitive from the bids I got, Cliff was awesome to work with. He communicated with me every step of the way and did an outstanding job. Anne in the office was also a pleasure and very responsive. Just an easy, honest, professional company to work with. No hassle. Would highly recommend.

Contacted CastleGate to install a 100 amp wall connector charger for my Tesla. Within 24 hours the owner came to estimate. Price was reasonable and I approved, job was scheduled, installer showed up on time and was one of the best we've ever worked with. Walked through work before and after completion to make sure I was satisfied. Install looks fantastic and tech not only cleaned up after himself but swept out the entire garage!! Quality work with quality office and field staff, great experience and would definitely hire again for next project.

12-2017 Two service techs arrived on time. Clean, professional install completed according to Building Code. Very impressed. The fact that they actually pulled a permit for the job told me I was working with the right company. Would recommend strongly....

From the first call for an estimate to the final connection made at our home, the Castlegate team of professionals performed to the highest of standards. It was no uncomplicated task upgrading our older home's electrical system to accommodate an 80 amp, 240 Hz circuit for our new charging station. Ted and the crew overcame an I-beam obstacle in our intended new wire's path and got the job done on time and in a very professional manner. Both the crew and the estimator arrived on time and the team worked steadily for 7 hours until the job was completed. They became the approved vendor in our household for our future electrical needs and we would recommend them highly.
