Shawn Hampton was referred to me by a local real estate agent to help me get my water turned back on and check for leaks after the 2021 Big Freeze. Shawn texted me and arrived shortly thereafter in a proper plumber's panel van (not a pickup truck.) He was professional in appearance and demeanor, knowledgeable and able to show me what was going on and explain what should be done. He suggested repairs and repair parts, and I elected to fix everything that needed fixing. He did extensive work replacing burst or leaking pipes and was able to, somewhat miraculously, dislodge some built up of rust from inside my galvanized steel pipes that was causing lower than usual water pressure on the hot side of my kitchen sink. (I thought we might have to re-pipe that whole area, which would have been an extensive repair.)  

Shawn charged notably less than I would have paid one of the bigger Houston plumbing companies. I've used many of the more recognizable names here over 35 years, so I'm confident in my assessment on this point.

My understanding is Shawn is a LICENSED MASTER PLUMBER with 14 years of experience, some in California but most in Texas working for one of Houston's major plumbing companies before striking out on his own. It is also my understanding that Shawn has a limited service area at this time, generally in and around Houston's West Loop -- but check with him on that.

When looking for a company to do our repipe I got at least 6 different estimates.
David Henry came in and did a walk through of our house, saw our master bath and the tile work that I REALLY did not want to have cut into and damaged, and another bathroom that another company told us they'd have to yank out the whole cabinet and counter, he absolutely assured us that wouldn't have to happen. I was so relieved! Then he sat us down and brought in actual pieces and fixtures showing us EXACTLY what they would use, he had videos, and answered all of my ridiculous questions perfectly. He left us with a full color folder explaining everything! He really put us at ease.
Most of these repipe companies contract out to other companies. Not We Do Repipes! They have their own crews for EVERYTHING. They are fully licensed and  insured.
Their estimate was not the cheapest, but they were far from the most expensive! I checked all of their reviews online and was very satisfied. So we decided to go with them.
They were right on time (to the minute) for their appointments. Communication was always very easy and very clear. Their crew showed up and we're very respectful of my home and my little dog. They worked almost 12 hours that day but when they left I had a full repipe and a new tankless water heater all up and running seamlessly!
Next was the Sheetrock repair appointment and their repairman Oscar. He arrived EXACTLY at his appointment time, did a walk through and got to work. He is very detail oriented and meticulous with his work. He's a super nice guy and seems to be able to fix ANYTHING! We were so pleased with Oscar I made him lunch the second day he was here.
All in all everything that we had done came out PERFECTLY! What an awesome experience to work with a company that does absolutely everything they say they are going to do at the high quality they promise! I will definitely recommend this company EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

I had a hot water heater problem. S&B offered best case (thermocouple replaced) pricing as well as worst case (replace Honeywell controls) pricing. Now I know what I in for and I appreciate that.
Repairs were scheduled the same day.
S&B got me back in hot water without parts but advised due to the age of equipment I'd be better off replacing and offered pricing. Not the cheapest option but seemed honest advice.
Crew was very professional.

I have been relying on this plumbing co since I bought my first house in 2006. The owner Doug is very professional and does quality work at an affordable price. I've had them install water heaters , repair pipes in attic, to completely remodeling a bathroom with a custom shower enclosure, etc. Overall I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend for any plumbing needs..

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Paul Weitz, The Plumbing Guy! Earlier today I tried to help my husband wrap the pipes outside our house. I accidentally bent the pipe a tad to far and the pipe snapped, leaving a gush of water to continue to spew out for over an hour. I called out Paul in an emergency. Once he got to our house he knew he needed more hands than just himself. He came back an hour later with more hands to assist. They had to dig up first to get to our water meter reader which for some reason was under lots of dirt and grass to turn off the main water line and then they were able to fix the pipe. He and his staff went above and beyond on a Saturday well into the evening to make sure that we weren't stuck (with 4 kids) with out water to our house during the deep freeze we are about to have. He finished the job by wrapping our pipes for us so that we won't have any problems. If you are in need of a plumber, make sure to give The Plumbing Guy a call!!!!!

On thanksgiving day 2022 that morning, my house had a leak over the sink in one of the full bath upstairs. What a bummer!!! Instead of having it repaired (very pricey one), I've decided to repipe the entire house (built in 1976). Previous owner did some lousy plumbing work last year and the inspector told me that I should be expected to have some plumbing issues down the road (that was December 2021). Since I am on an extremely tight budget, I had no choice but to shop around for a company who could work with me while they are very competent and legit. On a very tentative schedule (as I didn't want to keep on shutting down the main water switch to stop the leak), I spent close to 5 days (right after Thanksgiving) interviewing at least 8-10 places. I was very grateful that Matthew came to see me on 11/28. He was very punctual, friendly, polite, energetic and thorough on his estimate which covers repiping, inspection permit plus sheetrock repair. He even offered me military discount! Note that he wasn't pushy and his estimate was very reasonable! Long story short, he got me all set up for repiping my home starting on 12/9! At first I thought it was a rush, but anyway, it turned out to be the best move I've ever made)! Matthew's team (4 young men) was super duper amazing because they had the entire house repipe in 2 days! Matthew agreed to fix the leak right away and he did! He even showed me the leak was from the broken galvanized pipe! Anyway, I adored these young men's energy and vibes! I could truly tell they love their job very much! Some fun facts: I kept telling everyone that I preferred to hire Matthew as my boy has the same name (Matthias) and he looks so alike my buddy's son! Inspection was passed on 12/6 by the City of Houston. Sheetrock repair was done on 12/7. The folks who did the sheetrock repair were extremely polite, professional and hard working. They came in at 8am and left at 8pm. Now the house has no more holes on the wall! No one could tell it has a repiping job done! Everything was done right on schedule. No lies. No tricks. No scams. I am extremely pleased with the entire process. As a real estate broker/homeowner, I highly recommend Repipe Solutions to all my clients, family, and friends! Responded quickly to my first call. Schedule to be on site as quick as possible. They did give me a date and their contractor failed to show but they quickly resolved that by coming promptly the next day.

The initial work this company did was good.  However, after receiving and accepting a written estimate for further work, they never showed up and that was two months ago.   I would rate this company as highly unreliable.

I was in need of repairs to my toilets. I reviewed Yelp. I came across Bob DeShano. I contacted Bob gave him the information he requested and the next day Bob was out to my home. Completed the job and was on his way.
Bob did a great job. He is fair, fast, honest and most of all a nice man. I highly recommend Bob. Finally one word describes Bob. Great!!!!

He installed a 2.5 Gal water heater under the kitchen sink, and fixed a leak in the pipe going to the water heater in the garage.  No problems, reasonable price, very friendly kind man.  Will call him next time I need anything done to my plumbing.

Absolute scammers.

My mother's house developed a main leak in the ground at the inlet below the shutoff valve. I dug out the area to trace the leak and found it coming from a coupling that had a poorly done PVC weld from a recent sprinkler system install. With the hole dug, this should be a simple fix that would take a plumber less than an hour of work to do and require, at most, less than $10 in materials. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time that day to fix it, so suggested she call a plumber. She called Milton Frank Plumbing.

Today, the plumbers that arrived produced an estimate of $779 to my mother. They told her they needed to replace the gate valve (common when the house was built in the early 80s) that controls the flow into the house with a ball valve. This valve was not the source of the leak...in fact it was no where near the leak! The leak was underground and I had already dug it up for them! They also tried to up-sell her to some MVP program. When she balked, they dropped the price to $553 to replace the old gate valve with another gate valve instead of a ball valve. Again, NOT THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK! Fortunately, while no plumber, my mom is no fool and can spot a grifter. She sent them packing with their $48 dispatch fee.

I'm absolutely disgusted with these people. Again, complete con artists and crooks. DO NOT USE THEM!

I'm writing to amend my previous review which complained about the high price of a simple unblocked drain. The company contacted me to amend the price which I gratefully accepted. My assessment is that Village Plumbing is quite possibly the top of the line in plumbing repair in this area, and as such, they charge premium prices in order to sustain their knowledgeable, professional, and well-trained staff; their impressive fleet of vehicles and equipment; and their dominance of the market share. There are times when quality at all costs is the primary concern in which case, Village Plumbing should be your first call.
