Great experience with this company. They are super responsive and have always provided great work. So glad I found a Plumber and A/C company that gives me options and let's me know the good, bad and ugly! They don't have the high pressure corporate
game that some other brothers have.

Still using Milton Frank, still receiving quality work, fair pricing, folks who clean up after themselves, with no after the fact issues.

After all these years they've replaced a garbage disposal, snaked three drains, replaced two water heaters, given countless heater and a/c tune ups, repaired our old a/c at least adozen times, and now finally, after 19 years, replaced the whole a/c system, inside and out.

They're small, local, privately owned, and probably not the cheapest, but they're reasonable, fair, and I've never had a problem they couldn't solve.

I stand by my review 4 years ago, and I stand by it now.

What I thought was a 5 star review is really a 1 star experience. The pipe that was fixed started to leak two days later and when my father called the company to tell them about the leak the customer service representative told him that the plumber did nothing wrong and she knew this for a fact because of the picture she saw...!!! Lady, are you serious?!

My dad was preparing his pipes for an upcoming freeze and while he was turning the faucet handle it broke so we had to find him a company to come out in a Sunday asap. Milton Frank Plumbing came within the hour and were able to fix the problem.

Needed one drain line to be snaked, and Milton Frank did a good job cleaning out both my drain and my wallet ($426) in under an hour.  

The service person was friendly and professional, and was available (on a weekday) in a hurry, but exorbitant price.

Friendly & professional from my first phone call with Lauren to the actual service call with Preston. Lauren pleasantly answered my questions and was very accommodating with scheduling. The text updates were appreciated. Preston was very knowledgeable about my Kohler products and explained what the repair entailed and how much.  No surprises!!
And Preston actually cleaned my Jacuzzi tub when he was done! Wow!! That's respect!! I will be using this company for my future needs and recommend them to y'all too!

My relatively EXPENSIVE toilet flooded my 1st floor dining room
I bought this from Milton Frank  The BOLTS that held the tank
to the base busted and one was leaking  I went to their office
to see if I could get a replacement bolt  The receptionist (?)
said they don't stock parts!  REALLY a repair firm WITHOUT
parts!

I have never had a problem with toilet bolts. I suspect this
was a cheap product

BUTTT  the important thing is in their office are two LARGE
board that rate their plumbers on REVENUE per job.
If you use them - be careful because the plumber's recommendation
is probably influenced on generating unneeded repairs

Also I dont think my plumber installed the tank properly

They have the best staff & repair techs, always on time or call every time, don't rush a repair or installation, clean up their work area & when needed get back with us ASAP if we call. My neighbor used Milton Frank Plumbing to replace a toilet.  Started out simple, but wound up replacing the whole toilet.  That is not the issue.  The issue is, after several trips to Lowes for parts which they didn't have, the total bill was over $900.00.  How can you justify over $900.00 for replacing a toilet.  I did an average of replacing toilets in this area, and it was approx $400.00, so how can a company justifying more than double.  As a side note, they are elderly, so maybe that is a reason.

I contacted Milton Frank Plumbing because Kohler National Service recommended them.  Matt Vaughn from Milton Frank Plumbing came out to repair my Master Bathroom Kohler Shower DTV after it froze and broke in the cold weather.  Matt visited the first time and told me I needed either four different parts kits that I needed to order from Kohler or a new valve.  

He charged me a $150 trip charge and I ended up ordering a brand new Kohler DTV on Amazon for $1350.  Two weeks later Matt came back and installed it.

Installation amounted to replacing the existing valve with the new one and attaching the hot/cold water feeds and the six output valves also and plug in the power.

This took Matt two hours and the installation charge was $817.50.  Matt did a great job.

Seems to me that a $400 an hour labor rate is excessive.  In fact, that could be considered price gouging.  Kohler devices are expensive but really?   I gave him my old valve because I didn't have need for a broken one.  

I am a retired IT guy, but I was never paid $400 an hour.  Wow.

I own a business in Tomball and after the freeze I noticed that one of our pipes had burst. I called Milton Frank and they had a technician at my location within 30 minutes! It only took him 15 minutes to repair my pipe and I was able to continue operating! I cannot thank Milton Frank enough! They were the hero and saved the day. They have serviced my location for several years and have always been professional and courteous. And most importantly they will be there for you in your time of need! Thank you for everything you do. We truly appreciate you!

Had a great experience with David Galvan from
Milton frank to replace a cartridge in bath faucet since hot water wouldn't turn on. He was respectful, informative, on time. Called during the winter storm for a busted pipe and couldn't get through for days, called a handyman to fix the broken pipe so we could have water again. Recently the gas company came to change gas meter and turned off the water to hot water heaters. Soon after we had hot water again after gas meter installed, our overflow sensors kept going off . Logan Hughes came to troubleshoot and was able to reset the sensors, pointed out that Kevin who installed the system missed our 3rd hot water heater completely, so we needed to order another overflow shut off fir the 3rd. Soon after Logan left, the two sensors on the two water heaters kept going off, we'd press reset then they'd go off again. Thank goodness Kevin missed the 3rd water heater at installation was a blessing in disguise because at least we could take a hot shower but no hot water in kitchen or laundry room from the other two water heaters that had sensors tripping. Milton frank sent Kevin back on Tuesday - 3 days with no hot water- and he couldn't figure out why they were tripping, blamed it on the gas company and ordered two more sensors. He was not solution oriented and was defensive to us, and didn't apologize for missing the 3rd water heater at installation of the shut off system. Also Milton frank wanted to charge us for the two new sensors they were ordering to replace the ones that tripped- even though they didn't know If they were faulty. They should have been under warranty-  it was only 2 months since they were installed. Then they tried to sell us their MVP plan and told me it would save on future visits and was helpful during the winter storm. Ironically we already were MVP members - didn't help us at all during the storm and then shouldn't need it as a benefit for service trips- if the job is done right initially we would not have needed 3 separate trips! We will not be using them anymore. Very disappointed in their customer service, workmanship, and integrity.

Have used this plumbing co. for years, but never again !!  Way, way over priced and too expensive.  $650 for less than an hour to replace  kitchen garbage disposal.  This was the week BEFORE the freeze.

Kitchen sink backing up, needed snake to unclog.  Called Milton Frank Plumbing & Cooling at 1:55pm service technician arrived at 2:15pm. Ran snake, unclogged, reassembled and complete by 3pm.  Outstanding, professional work and extremely courtesy.

I emailed this company to request an estimate for a complete plumbing job involving installing a plumbing system for my home. I spoke with Lauren via email.

Now we are talking about a job that costs between 15 and 20,000.00.. Prior to calling Milton Frank Plumbing, I called Unuversal Home Services. Universal waived any fee just for giving them the opportunity to get the job.

Milton Frank and Lauren wanted to CHARGE ME $48.50 for the opportunity to bid on my project and PAY THEM upwards of 20,000.00.

If you need good people that don't use money as a basis for doing business, call JB Plumbing or Universal Home Services.

I wouldn't recommend Milton Frank for any Plumbing Services  it's all about the $$$$.

Absolute scammers.

My mother's house developed a main leak in the ground at the inlet below the shutoff valve. I dug out the area to trace the leak and found it coming from a coupling that had a poorly done PVC weld from a recent sprinkler system install. With the hole dug, this should be a simple fix that would take a plumber less than an hour of work to do and require, at most, less than $10 in materials. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time that day to fix it, so suggested she call a plumber. She called Milton Frank Plumbing.

Today, the plumbers that arrived produced an estimate of $779 to my mother. They told her they needed to replace the gate valve (common when the house was built in the early 80s) that controls the flow into the house with a ball valve. This valve was not the source of the leak...in fact it was no where near the leak! The leak was underground and I had already dug it up for them! They also tried to up-sell her to some MVP program. When she balked, they dropped the price to $553 to replace the old gate valve with another gate valve instead of a ball valve. Again, NOT THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK! Fortunately, while no plumber, my mom is no fool and can spot a grifter. She sent them packing with their $48 dispatch fee.

I'm absolutely disgusted with these people. Again, complete con artists and crooks. DO NOT USE THEM!

We have been Milton Frank customers for quite awhile and have always been pleased with their service.

Today I discovered a dripping ceiling and put a call into the service desk and a plumber was at our door within the hour.

Joel Long accessed the problem, located the leak and had a new pipe installed within about 90 minutes.  He also checked and replaced the filter of our tankless water heater which Milton Frank installed about 10 years ago (and it's still working fine).

Milton Frank will continue to be our go to plumbers.

We have used Milton Frank Plumbing for 15+ years. This spans two homes with great service in each one. They have provided products and services including hot water heaters, disposals, water softeners and water filters and toilets. We decided to replace our pedestal sink in our new home and purchased a vanity sink from Home Depot. I called the MFP office the next morning and by that evening I had a new vanity sink installed. Carlos our service person and installer for this small job is one of the nicest, friendliest and knowledgeable technicians. The number of years that we have used this company is a testament to their products their services and being a very customer centric company.

I received same day service on both of my recent problems. New water heater on Thursday, replaced capacitor on AC on Monday. I can't speak about pricing because I don't know how much these 2 jobs would have cost elsewhere. But I have hot water and cool air now!!
I'm not sure why so many reviews are currently not recommended, but I had great service on both of my calls.

The customer service/sales/pricing model at Frank's is so out dated, I could not believe the arrogance of not be able to quote an estimated basic bathroom sink install. After discussing with three people, I got the same canned response $48 trip charge to really tell you what it cost, and it will be applied against this magic install number.

Really? Lack of training to keep a customer, instead of yes we can, it's a well you never know how complicated it can get? Wrong person answered the phone? Bad process?

I feel like I just got Punked! Waiting for someone I know to jump out of the bushes....

My water heater went out several days ago and I contacted another plumbing service that I actually had a yearly service agreement with for about ten years. They inked a contract with me and provided a time and day of the replacement but didn't show up and didn't even call. After calling them I. Found out that they needed my voice recorded say I agree to the price and that I'll pay for the job. Totally insulting. I canceled the install and called Milton Frank Pluming. Milton Frank Pluming came out today, gave me a quote, and is installing right now!  Now that's how to conduct service in Texas!!! Thank you Milton Frank!

I recently clogged my sink cleaning out the refrigerator.  The plumber sent by Milton Frank left three separate messes inside and outside of my home.  If I hadn't inspected his work after he left, the significant amounts of water and food debris would have damaged my cabinets and attracted pests.  It was disgusting, smelled terrible, and took me over 4 hours and a pressure washer to clean / disinfect.  So gross!!

Not only were they 40 minutes late they tried to rip me off.

These people are not honest.  They wanted $622 to hookup a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. This should have been a very easy job.

I requested simple routine maintenance for my tankless water heater. The technician turned out to be a total con artist scammer! He tried to sell me all these ridiculous what could happen scenarios with the worst case scenario being to purchase a brand new unit for $2800! Ummmm my unit is 5 years old, no way I was falling for the BS he attempted to sell. He kept trying to say he was being honest and upfront. REALLY! Shame on you! No morals, no values no integrity. If this is what your company encourages your technicians to do then shame on you too! DISGUSTING.

Called and made appointment .. Guy came out and spent about an hour going over our entire plan to remodel our master bathroom. From top to bottom, was not a small job. Said he would write up 3 bids and would have them within 3 days. SEVEN days later I called him to ask where the bids were.... He said he was still working on them and to give him a few A few what???? THREE WEEKS later, he's never gotten in touch with me, and never EXPLAINED why he didn't do his job. How does somebody stay in business when they have no work ethic???? I will NEVER call them for anything EVER again.

We signed up for their service plan response is same day even in non emergency situations.  Repairs were completed in good order and clean up was good.   Professional was polite, well mannered and efficient.   I'd wish it were a bit less expensive.

Outragous quote to pull a toilet and reset it .  Quoted MINIMUM PRICE of  $350.00 for a job that would take about 90 minutes. Parts are no more than 10 buck. Felt like they were trying to rip me off.  Will never call them again.

Bought an older home and needed a lot of work. Logan, the plumber, was relentless at determining the real issue and fixing it and not overcharging for a bandaid fix. We will definitely be long term and repeat customers.

Worst experience. Guy charged 389 just to use the snake and at the end said he can't clear it. Wanted me to pay for the camera for  400 and 3000 to 5000 to clear the line. Paid 389 for nothing.

Carlos and crew did an excellent and tidy job today replacing my old hot water heaters in the attic with a new tankless unit. Took only four hours and he explained all of the operation very well. Tankless is not cheap but the install was painless and now no worries of leaking. Well done!

I needed a new valve for my refrigerator water supply line. Service tech came out same day, Carlos Delgado was his name. Very nice, polite, efficient, explained the process. Completed the work, cleaned up all in a timely manner. Yes they have a trip charge but you can get their service plan for $99 for a year and it waves the trip charge, including today. I've used numerous plumbers over the years and none are cheap but Frank Plumbing will be around in the future and as I said Carlos was a pleasure to work with.

Awesome service! Office staff was very courteous and able to get a service call scheduled for me easily and on the same day! Tech was extremely professional and diagnosed my plumbing issue fast and gave me several fairly priced options for repairs that fit my budget perfectly. Travis and the guys that helped him out did an amazing job with our issues we had. He was very polite, respective, and kept the house very clean while here. He explained everything to where I could understand what needed to be done. Once he got the ok from me, he got it completed in a timely manner. Definitely reccomend him and the team for any plumbing issues you may have and they have reasonable prices.

Happy.  Carlos was polite and efficient.  I got a new hot water heater and new exhaust pipe on the roof and it was around 1800 all said and done.  When I called the receptionist told me there was a $48 service call - so it was no surprise.  It was expensive, but isn't all plumbing?  The work was clean and everything was clearly explained to me.  Customer service was great - including a pleasant thank you card delivered in the mail.  When was the last time that happened to you?

We had a horrible gas leak in our home and no one could find the leak. We had about 7 different plumbing companies come out to the house. Travis and David were able to think out of the box and find multiple leaks. We ended up repiping the entire house. Their prices are very reasonable but most of all Travis and David were awesome! They took 2 days to have everything replaced and it went very smoothly. We couldn't have been any happier with these guys!

Their service tech, Richard Enciso, insisted that my A/C system wasnt under warranty despite me verifying the info with my installer and with Carrier prior to placing the service call.  I showed him the info with the same Carrier app that he was using and still he persisted.  So basically, it cost me 90 bucks to find out that Milton Frank doesnt like to do warranty work.  After throwing Richard out of my house i spoke to a manager that was immediately able to verify that not only was the warranty still good but would be until Nov of 2022.    My installer verified his own info then called Carrier to confirm.  I verified with my own warranty card and then confirmed with Carrier.  A service manager at MF verified after the fact through Carrier that the warranty was still good for another 4.5 years.  I dont know why Richard was the only person in the equation that couldnt get the correct warranty info but it doesnt look good for him or his employer.  The problem wasn't a simple typo as he and i both confirmed the correct serial number on my equipment. While Milton Frank was good enough to refund the $90 service call fee we definitely wont be using them for any future work.  If you do, pay close attention because if i had fallen for Richard's scam it would've cost us an additional $1500.  I called another company who verified the warranty before ever coming out and also brought the necessary part with them instead of leaving me with no A/C in August like MF was going to do.  $470 versus nearly $2000 because of incompetence or dishonesty, either way shame on Milton Frank.

This company is as bad as John Moore.   Our bill was almost $300 to have one little drain unclogged.  They charge you a $48 service call plus what it costs to fix the problem.  They don't even put the $48 toward your bill!  I'll never use them again, never refer them and compare them to JOHN MOORE......which is the most deceitful company around.  Milton Frank is not who they say they are.  They were going to charge $900 to put in a few plain chrome fixtures in a bathroom.  Be careful of them.

Re: AC repair.  Called them on a Sunday and got great service in a reasonable time with a fair price.  Service technician was professional.  I have used Milton Frank for many years for plumbing and they will now be my go-to for HVAC as well.  Highly recommend.

I read the reviews on this company and since they were close to our house and seemed reputable, I would give them a shot.  What a JOKE!  Our hot water heater wouldnt stay lit so the tech walked out to the water heater and said well, did you call the company on the water heater?  I looked at him and said no, do I have to use them? and he said no.  What a strange question since I was the one who called him in the first place.  So then the guy hits the start button and says well, it lit so if it doesnt stay lit you will have to buy a new one.  (it went out 10 minutes later which is the REASON I CALLED)  So then he charges us $112...WHAT???  The trip charge is $48.50 but charges us $60 to hit the Start button.  WOW..thats unacceptable.  So, I called TWICE and finally got the Service Manager (HA) on the phone who is not very nice and says well thats what we charge to start your water heater.  I argued with him saying you charge SIXTY dollars to hit ONE button?!  He finally agreed to give me a refund on the $60.  Its just a shame that I try to use a local company and get screwed.  Unbelievable and has taught me a good lesson.

The kitchen sink clogged up completely. Drano didn't work (guaranteed on toughest clogs. Really?!) Couldn't use dishwasher UGH. We rent in NW Houston. Our landlord uses this Milton Frank company. They came out within an hour, very polite, assessed the clog problem, called the landlord to approve payment and get their credit card :-), opened the clean-out drain and nasty junk came out. The guy was dressed nice, not a t-shirt. He got under shrubs and opened the clean out access. Anyway he ran this snake thing a long way into the house (instead of just to the sink 3 feet away) to make sure he got rid of clogs and cleaned pipe on this side of the house. He gave me a couple of tips because the house is 40 years old. Yes it was $257 (trip charge plus clear clog and pipes). Could we have searched and found a cheaper deal? Sure and we probably would have wasted time (our money) and then had to look at some guy's grimy t-shirt, and backside, worry about their old equipment, be sold a new disposal, had the kitchen pipes taken apart under the sink and on my kitchen floor, and not be able to get them to come back when something went wrong after they left. Everyone is happy. I have again retired from hand-washing dishes! Sink drains as it should and we don't have plumber-crack memories haunting us.
