In 2002 Gary F. started his Career in the plumbing industry. Starting off in the residential construction field, as an apprentice plumber, He quickly learned the basics of running Gas lines, water piping and then DWV, digging underground plumbing and Trim work.. In 2005 he moved into the Commercial side of Plumbing where he learned how to read Blueprints, layout , and making large material list. Gary F. had always known he wanted to open his own business, and after leaving plumbing to journey into a Wastewater treatment trade it was not long that he Realized that he wanted to open his Own plumbing Business. Having his Illinois state Plumbing License already all he needed to so was Obtain a Plumbing Contractors License, April 2013 that license was Obtained and the Business has been established. Our Goal is to Save Customers Money and offer Better services and prices than any other Licensed Plumbing Contractor out there. Plumbing pros has the References to back up their work!

After moving into our home we had a punch list of items that needed attention. We called Gary at Plumbing Pros and had him come over to take care of things. His expertise was so appreciated as he made suggestions to better our projects and his level of quality is off the charts! His team installed a new sump pump, a battery back up, changed fittings on an existing hot water heater, removed old piping that was not even attached but just cut and left hanging. Finally he discovered a potential problem in our main sewer line from the house to the municipal sewer system. Our neglected drain pipe had been overrun with roots and was desperately in need of clearing. I believe that had he not found this issue, we would have been in a terrible situation later. Thanks to Gary and the team at Plumbing Pros.

We needed to replace a water heater from a tank to a tankless unit. Gary and his team went above and beyond! I bid the job to three different companies, Plumbing Pros were the most competitive, professional, and responsive of the bunch. They even pointed out some issues with my existing furnace exhaust and modified for no additional charge. Excellent service that you don't often find these days!
Plumbing Pros was very responsive. The evening we had a water heater go out they talked us through via texting how to shut off the broken heater so we could still get some hot water from the working one. They were out at 9am the next day to take a look and provide a quote. They were priced competitively and easy to schedule with. They ultimately replaced 2 water heaters quickly for us.

Dependable, quick response, professional and quality work. Third time we use their services for different projects/needs.
Had a clogged kitchen sink and called Gary to have it rodded. He squeezed us into the schedule the next day and Andy arrived before 10:30 am. He had the sink drain opened within the hour. Andy was knowledgeable, neat and efficient.
Good company to hire. Gave me an appointment right away. Where other companies were not giving me time until 2 weeks out. Came in and did there job. Were professional and did quality work.
Gary was awesome!!! First time using them and they were excellent. After 2 previous plumbers (and a lot of $$$) these guys did a great job and fixed my problem. They are very clean, professional and courteous. They came on time, communication was excellent and pricing was very reasonable. These guys are my new go to plumbers! I see why they have all of these good reviews. You just don't find guys like this anymore.
They completed the job the same day I called, upfront pricing, responsive communication, friendly and completed the job quickly.

Ok, I'm going to pile on the mountain of 5 star reviews. Plumbing Pros came out to clear a blockage in the main sewer line at our house (it was roots!). The crew was very professional and had a reasonable rate. They were able to come the same day and walked me through what they were doing at each step. Looks like I've found my plumber. Next up, water heater.
I started off telling them I needed a drawing to go with their work so I could move forward with my project. promised not provided! next I agee with others on here overpriced and confusing quotes. Poor service I paid to have someone trained. They constantly talked about their little gun collections also. In a word unprofessional. Just to echo again poor work and really listen to others call around you will save at least 1k - 2k. Still dont have the drawing and the shower valve is still a mess and leaks.
Called Gary to assist with a leaking toilet, he was able to get to my home within a couple hours. Incredibly quick response time and answered all questions accordingly. He and Rob were able to assess an issue with the wax seal and installed a new one to prevent any more leaks. These guys are super professional and extremely knowledgable, with pricing that is completely reasonable for the services provided. Can't go wrong with fast service at great prices, thanks again guys!

Everyone needs to listen close.. Call around! I work in the construction industry.. I called these guys for a quote for work on my house. The quoted me a price and service that was not required and of course the pricing was significantly higher then it should have been. Dishonest!
Make Gary your go-to guy. My hot water heater kicked the bucket on a Friday afternoon. I called him, he did a virtual consult through text pictures, and came out the next morning with a new (hard to find) water heater and installed it. He even came over Friday night to empty my other tank just in case it started to leak. He was quick, competitively priced, knowledgeable, and reliable. Highly recommend!

Great guys. Fair prices. They came to my house and told me what was wrong. I figured out I knew how to fix the problem. Gary told me if I run into any problems give him a call and he would talk me through it. My mother's got water tank bursts so I recommended plumbing pros to her. Great price very fast and thorough. She has a lot of stairs in her condo which made removal difficult. The guys got a little rust on the rug leading downstairs. They went out and bought rug cleaner and removed the stain. Great service guys. You have a customer for life.

Gary and Andy came out within a couple hours of calling and did an amazing job. We had knocking pipes and a water hammer issue. They quickly diagnosed and explained the issue and repaired. Very professional. Gary always responds in a very timely manner. We have used this company several times. They put in a tankless water heater, runs beautifully. We were having difficulty with our sump pump, the motor was running continuously. Gary came out and diagnosed the problem immediately (the air was trapped in the pump) and fixed it and only charged us a service call. Recently he put in a new kitchen faucet, did a great job.
Pricing very reasonable. This is our 'go to' company for all of our plumbing needs. Highly recommend this company.

We had a toilet that started overflowing when anyone in the house used water. Gary got out here quick, cleared the blockage, and recommended next steps for us. We were going to use him to repair the larger issue that caused the blockage, but he let us know that there was a program that would do it for free--instead of us paying him. My family and I are so thankful we called him!

I called plumbing pros Wednesday morning and they were ready to come out immediately. I told them I worked until 4:30 and they accommodated me because they said they didn't want me to miss work! I couldn't believe it! Gary came out right after I got home from work and fixed my clogged sink in 10 minutes! I had been trying to fix it myself for the last month. I tried snaking my drains over and over again and used products from Home Depot but had no luck. Gary was also very patient with me and answered all the questions I had. I will definitely call Plumbing Pros any time I have a plumbing issue in the future.
Had one of those mornings where you wake up to find a small pond in your basement, the latest round of snowfall and a busted water heater. Oh yea, and with the Chicagoland's coldest temperatures in 20 years in the forecast. Needless to say, I wasn't having the best day ever.
Fast forward a mere hour or so and the Plumbing Pros van pulls into the driveway.
Long story short, Gary truly made my day much more tolerable with his prompt response, extensive knowledge of the situation at-hand and of course his true professionalism. And it was great to get the hot water flowing again. Thanks again, Gary. You have a new customer in me.

I called Plumbing Pros to come out and rod my clean out as it has been years since I had it done. They put a camera down the clean out and said I did not need to rod it. They were very honest! I had told them about my hot water problem and I all ready new I needed a new hot water tank and they said I needed a new hot water tank. They replaced it the same day with very good pricing and did a great job installing the new tank.
Fantastic service and honesty!!!! I will use them from now on.
If you want great service and honesty with good pricing them give them a call you, in my opinion, you will be very happy with them.
They really care about the customer!!!!

I needed a gas line installed for grill outside. They came to inspect the job, gave me a quote, returned when they said they would and did the job in a professional manner.
That's what we all hope for when hiring a contractor, right?
We had an ejector pump issue in our basement and it was at night, so nothing was open, but again, I used Yelp messaging and I sent a message to Plumbing Pros. Gary was so nice and was sending me messages back and forth trying to give us solutions. The pump had failed, but he was able to come out the next day and replaced the pump. Gary was very knowledgeable and experienced. It's nice to have that in any service. I will definitely use them again, although I hope it's not anytime soon!

Gary called me back within 2 minutes of me leaving a message ( around 8pm). He walked my husband through a few potential solutions and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and give an estimate. He came over in the morning the following day, fixed the issues, gave me some helpful tips and came in under his estimate.

We moved into a 100 year old house and needed a new water heater with power venting. The plumber came out to inspect the unit and provide a bid. We asked for prices on both a standard water heater (with tank) and tankless unit. We were offered a fair price on both and next day installation. We chose a standard unit mostly for price The crew worked quickly and completed the installation (including drilling a hole to the outside for venting) in less than 2 hours. When installation was complete, the team explained the features of the new unit as well as how to read the light on the water heater to diagnose the problem. They explained this is important so they can grab the correct part *before* coming to the house. The crew was courteous and covered their nose and mouth as is standard in a COVID world. Would certainly use Plumbing Pros again.

This guy is the best. Super responsive, and always quality work. I've used him 4 times and he's always here within a day or two, the problem is always diagnosed quickly and fixed that same day. Very reasonable rates. Seriously if you live in the western suburbs don't call anyone else, use these guys.

I think this is my first ever Yelp review. I dont usually care too much about spending the time to make one.
However, Gary and his team are my exception. He was easy to work with, prompt, responsive, up front and just plain ole helpful.
He explained the decisions he was making instead of just doing, and frankly he saved both of us time by asking me to check out one more connection before he left and what do you know? It didn't work and Gary was able to tack it on to the list of things he helped me out with.
Will definitely be calling Plumbing Pros back for any future plumbing work I need done.

Our ejector pump had an issue and looked for a plumber. We called Plumbing Pros because they have 5 stars. Now we know why they have 5 stars! Gary showed up soon, he was knowledgeable, and he fixed the issue quickly. Next time, when we need any plumbing service, we will ask Gary again!
EDITED: Directly after I posted my review, I got a text message from Plumbing Pros apologizing for never having gotten back to me and explaining that it was an accidental oversight. The gentleman offered to help me install the part for free if I had any trouble when I got my replacement part, which was nice. Again, these people are super friendly and helpful; personally I really like them. I ended up figuring out how to install the part myself (it was easy and they had given me good directions the first time around). I bumped my review up a star because I think Plumbing Pros are very good at what they do and they're good people, even though I didn't have the greatest experience.

OK - so I picked these guys because they had the best reviews. I had a problem with my shower turn-on handle and I had no idea what to do. They came right away and they were super nice. I was pretty happy with everything. They told me what was wrong with my shower handle and what part I needed. They said they would order it and they showed me how I could still turn on the tub using pliers, so that was good. Then... they didn't charge me, which I thought was weird, but I figured they were being nice and people were good.
I texted later in the week asking about the part. I didn't get a reply till two days later, and the person told me he'd been sick and he was going to look into getting the part. I asked if I should call the company myself and got no reply.
A week and a half later, I received a text again saying they thought they had the correct part. I asked how I could go about obtaining this part and I haven't heard from them since. It's been a little over a month.
I just called the shower company and ordered the part myself. It will be here in 5 days. :o/
I really liked these guys personally. They were super nice to both me and to my little son who was fascinated by their wrenches. I wish I had a clue what had happened...
Gary is a very responsive and responsible professional. We left him a voicemail regarding our flooded basement and he called back within 20 mins. He then arrived our house at Westchester 15 mins later. Identified the issue right away and provided a fair quote. Finished the job within 30 mins and then our problem was solved. We were impressed by his efficiency and honesty. Great guy to work with.
I called Plumbing Pros with an urgent issue (sump pump failed, flooded basement!) and was so impressed with the speed and efficiency of their response. They were at my house within 30 minutes of my call and gave us a very fair and well-explained quote. The work was done quickly and stayed within the cost given. Highly recommend!!
Plumbers came to my place to check the issue and left with a promise to call back to make recommendations. Unfortunately the call back never happened. I tried calling back a few times but never got a response. Unfortunately I can't recommend them.
Excellent work performed by Plumbing Pros! heard noises from sumo pump late night and called Plumbing Pros. Gary called me back immediately and scheduled a technician next morning. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

Plumbing Pros have been excellent to work with. Gary has been knowledgeable and thoughtful about how to handle a complicated problem with our master shower. He's fixed it and has offered good next steps. His pricing has been fair (one visit he didn't charge anything even though he spent time researching the core issue). He typically brings an apprentice with him which shows his character that he's trying to properly train tomorrows plumbers. I highly recommend Plumbing Pros.
My first time using Plumbing Pros was in 2016, and I have used them at least 4 times since. Gary is quick to respond and has always made an effort to get to my issues as quickly as possible (even an emergency over July 4th weekend). He and his assistant are always very kind, professional, and friendly. His prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is fantastic.
Gary was super! Very happy! Installed my new kitchen sink and disposal. Responded really quick and was very reliable.
Gary said he would be by the house to check on our dead water heater on Friday after his last job. He arrived at 7:15 PM on a Friday night! He got our water running to the rest of the house and said he could be back in the morning to install a temp water heater. We wanted to install a tankless and it would take a few days to get installed. Gary arrived back at 9:45 AM on Saturday to install the temp tank and then scheduled the install for the tankless. Gary and his team are professional, clean and arrive when they say they are going to arrive regardless of how late it is. Plumbing Pros are my new go to plumber!!

I would highly, highly recommend Gary and Plumbing Pros to all who need any sort of pluming work done. I needed to get a new water heater, two toilets, and a garbage disposal, and Gary and his co-worker came out and gave me a quote unlike another plumbing company who quoted me substantially more, minus the garbage disposal.
Gary and his co-worker came out this past Friday (I was at work) and finished everything in under three hours!! Everything was perfect, and disposed of. When I walked into my townhome, it looked as if no work was even done that day due to how clean it was!! Gary walked with me, and explained everything he did in detail, along with letting me know he put an aerator on my sink that unbeknownst to me, I needed!! (He did so free of charge)!!
To summarize, I will be using Gary for all of my plumbing needs/work, and am going to pass on to others how great this company is!!! Gary and his co-worker are very honest, and are great plumbers indeed!!
Had a slight issue with our p trap leaking. Didn't have time to fix it myself. Found plumbing pros on yelp and saw good reviews. Gary was great. Left in the morning and by the time I got home he was here and gone. Would recommend highly and use again in the future.

Desperately needed to find someone to fix our sewer line blockage. Requested multiple quotes but no one was available. Previous guys who we contacted did a horrible job with lack of response/communication. Did a bit of Yelp searching and found the Plumbing Pros. Called Gary, got a response in less than 15 minutes, he was at my house 10 min after that, and was done in less than 25 min. The total time the entire thing took from phone call to working sewer line was probably an hour MAX. I have never seen someone be so punctual and so efficient. The quote was also very reasonable and I will be looking at the Plumbing Pros for my future help. Highly recommend. You will not find anyone more polite, efficient, punctual, and professional. Would 100% highly recommend Plumbing Pros!!!
We had some sewer back up and called a big name company to come inspect the issue. This other big name company gave us conflicting information, they were dishonest and attempted to charge us an astronomical amount of money for issues that were nonexistent.
We were desperately in need of a second opinion and this is when a friend recommended Gary from Plumbing Pros. Gary was amazing. Gary and his team walked me through exactly what they were doing. They were able to determine the exact way for us to move forward and gave us quick and honest answers. They were also very affordable. If you want an honest plumbing company who'll be straight with you - look no further.
When the time came, and I couldn't clear my kitchen sink of water any longer, I checked Yelp and found Plumbing Pros. It wasn't an emergency but the plumber (Able) was here an hour and a half later. He gave me a quote and began carefully setting up for the electric snake. After almost 40 min of grinding through the grease, it cleared. I wasn't that surprised being that the run was almost 50 ft.
After showing me the result, he wiped out the inside of the cabinet and removed his tools. Everything was clean - even the two-wheeler the snake was on had booties. I will be calling them again.

I woke up to my basement flooding and dreaded having to reach out to a plumber. I looked on Yelp and requested quotes from a few different places. Gary, from plumbing pros was one of the quotes I promptly received back. He contacted my husband to coordinate repairs, and came out same day that evening. I was out running errands, so I did not get to interact with him directly, but my husband was very pleased with the service (and he is not easy to please). He said the guys was friendly, professional, quick, and most importantly, honest. You don't get great customer service to often in the home repair world, so it was refreshing to be provided such great service. Happy to say I have a plumber go to from now on. Hopefully not soon, but Plumber Pro definitely has our business in the future.

We had a really simple (for him) job, but fixing a problem is 5% doing it, 95% knowing what to do, and he knew what to do without hesitation. We'll definitely call him again next time we need a plumber.
I would highly recommend Gary and Plumbing Pros. I selected Gary out of the 3 bids (All based on Yelp reviews) I got based on his competitive bid, but also because of way he interacted with me on the phone prior to my decision to hire him.
He and his apprentice showed up right on time and were very careful not to mess my floors. The job to replace my existing 75 gallon hot water tank with a new tank was more complicated than he anticipated, but Gary stuck with it. He made sure not to cut any corners, as I feel many contractors would do to keep on track with their allotted time for the job. I feel this is why many consumers are hesitant to hire contractors, for fear they won't do a thorough job that is of high quality. I'm very happy with the job he did, and the overall experience (Cost, service, end result) that I would certainly hire Gary again, and I will confidently refer him to friends who need plumbing work.

We discovered a gas leak on a Sunday, so I called around to about 5 different companies to find an appointment and compare pricing. I went with Plumbing Pros because out of everyone I spoke to, I felt that Gary was the most knowledgeable about the work and transparent about the cost. We set an appointment for the next day and his guys were even able to meet me earlier than scheduled, which was great. They came in, quickly identified what solution was needed, went to get the necessary replacement pipes/valves, and were completely done with the repair in less than 2 hours. The price was reasonable compared to other quotes I received. On top of all that, the guys who came out were very pleasant to work with. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of service and will be calling on them again for future repairs.

Found Plumbing Pros through the stellar reviews here on Yelp and all the 5-star reviews on here are pretty much spot on! Gary & his team were very responsive and quick to return my call after I initially called him to fix a leaky faucet. We communicated back and forth via phone and texts and Gary was able to give me a price quote (very reasonable price) and on their schedule as soon as I got him the necessary information. When the appointment time came, Gary was on time, extremely professional and friendly, and just as important, he was able to fix our faucet. I would definitely recommend Gary to anyone and won't hesitate to contact Plumbing Pros in the future!

Gary and Plumbing Pros is as good as it gets. First, the normal visit. I called Gary just before quarantine (little did I know) to have him come out and inspect my ejector pit. After terrific service and fair prices, Gary let me know that if I needed anything else to just give him a call. Now, onto the over and beyond part. I texted Gary tonight because I was having garbage disposal issues. Not only did he reply with advice and a few questions, after I told him I had fixed the disposal but was still having trouble re-attaching some of the fittings, he offered to FaceTime and show me how it's done! It wasn't just that he helped me solve the problem, it was that he was more than happy to assist without needing to be paid to come out to visit. Again, I would have be open to having him come out if it turned out the problem was serious, but I was even happier to accomplish something myself with his help. I will never call another plumber for any job moving forward, and I highly recommend Plumbing Pros for work in the area. The best.
I would highly recommend Plumbing Pros and Gary is simply the best! . We went with Plumbing Pros this time around based on the Yelp reviews and indeed they do deserve these positive reviews. Gary did a great job and he was quite knowledgeable about the issue we had and how to fix it.
Our problem was with our sump pump running continuously and making loud noise. We called Plumbing Pros right away and they were very responsive. They set up a day and time to come and Gary came on time and went to work straight away. He looked at our Sump pump, did some tests and told me what exactly the issue was and the new parts the sump pump needed to run more efficiently. He gave me a quote and honestly, it was a reasonable quote compared to others.
After the work was completed, Gary walked with me and explained in details the work that he did. Very thorough! Gary was just great to work with! I will definitely recommend Plumbing Pros to all. Just very happy with their work.

They were able to get me in at the same time/date I had with the initial plumbers (phew!) so that I didn't have to miss more work. Bobby was friendly and was able to give me a reasonable estimate before he began the job. Our drains were pretty grossly clogged, so the price came in at the high end of the estimate, but to be quite honest I was expecting it. AND the high end of the estimate/final price was still less than I had actually been expecting. So win-win all around. I would definitely call these guys again!

Plumbing Pros was great! They solved my water spigot leak and only had to cut open a small portion of the basement ceiling to get at it. They were on time and worked fast. Bobby saved us! We called late on Saturday night when we realized our sewer line was backed up. We were hoping emergency service wouldn't cost us too much. I rarely write reviews, but Plumbing Pros's service was fantastic from start to finish. It would be a disservice not to share my experience. My 17-year-old water tank started leaking so I knew repair was not an option. I called around to several places. Some charged a fee just to come and give a quote; other companies had people answering the phone who couldn't answer basic questions. (Can you imagine trying to follow-up with an issue?) I spoke to Gary when I called Plumbing Pros. He not only answered my questions, but more importantly he asked questions to make sure the product (tankless water heater) I was interested in would be appropriate for our situation. Pete came out the next day to provide a quote (and answered more questions). The installation went smoothly, and a follow-up maintenance is already planned for next year. I contacted Gary post-installation to follow-up on a concern. Pete came back and addressed my concerns. It was a good experience start to finish. I will be recommending friends/neighbors add Plumbing Pros to their contact list even if they don't need them right away.

I needed to get some quotes on an issue we were having at my place of work, This was the last quote and fingers crossed I had to get. I googled and went with the best reviews plumber in my area. All around excellent experience working with Gary and Plumbing Pros! I called in the morning about a Sump Pump that was running far too often and sure enough, it was worn out, old, and the float broke off and was floating in the pit. I received a knowledgeable response and an offer to come by later on that afternoon, since I happened to be off of work that day. The team was able to come by, same day, diagnose the problem and replace the sump pump. The new pump is so quiet, I wouldn't even be able to hear if it was running. I bought a house this summer. The repairman that previous homeowners used had things still needing to be repaired and had gas leaks. The gas line for the stove was really loose and the water heater pipes were misaligned and throwing off the unit. Gary took care of it and charged much less than I expected for service fee. Everything is working now. He was friendly, reasonable and clean. Gary was the only plumbing company who responded to my voicemail. I will use Gary for all my future work.

Called this company based on the 5- star Yelp reviews. I own apartment buildings. My tenant who lives in the basement called around 9:45 P.M. saying the ejector pump was not working. I figured it was not working because the line had to be rodded. I called Plumbing Pro's explaining the problem and that I need it done fairly quickly since my tenants were involved. He said he might get someone out there that night. Great! Bobby came out and rodded the main sewer line(I have a clean-out for easy access). It took him about 30 minutes.
He kept insisiting I would probably need a new ejector pump. I told him the one in there was only about a year old and probably should work. He untangled some cords and got it to work.
Total time taken was under 2 hours. They did a fine job and came out quickly but they charged me an Emergency price of $750. To me this seems high, since generally plumbers charge around $220 to rod out a sewer line. Also, I never got a receipt from them. He typed in all my info on an I-pad and said he would e-mail it to me. That was over a week ago. I really hoped it would work out better, because I really could use a good , reasonable plumber. I have other buildings. I won't call them back. Quality work, nice people, prompt service- just not reasonable in my mind.

Belated review of some work done around 11/2016. I called to have backup batteries installed on my two sump pumps. Absolutely delighted with their services. Two toilets were backed up and both tubs were overflowing. Checked pipes below and made a determination as to which equipment would best work to unclog the entire system without tearing apart dry walls, removing toilets, and cutting pipes. He freed up all clogged up tubs and toilets in less than 1 1/2 hrs working very diligently while keeping my original pipes, walls and bathroom fixtures intact. He was a genius!!! I will definitely call him again. By the way, he checked everything 3-4 times before leaving a clean workspace and everything working better than before!!!!

Gary is a wonderful guy, a distinctively good professional you can find in the plumbing service business. There are a couple of times he came over and helped fixed our not so complicated issues without charging a dime! What's more he is very knowledgeable and smart, very quick in diagnosing the problems, some of which were hidden behind the wall. He doesn't charge extra for urgent need.
Very happy with the water heater installation Gary did. The quote was about half of what Home Depot wanted. He was flexible to work around my schedule. He could have justified extra charges, but only asked for the amount originally quoted. No upselling. A good experience.
Upon moving into our town-home we discovered that there was a problem in our upstairs bathroom. Every time we showered there was water leaking through the ceiling into our half bath below. Wanted to give a shout out to Gary and Rob for coming to my rescue this evening. Gary is a class act. We discovered a major plumbing leak on the morning we left for ten-day vacation. After our morning showers, my husband went to the garage to leave and found water raining down through the ceiling drywall onto the floor. We turned off the eater to the bathroom fixtures, tried to put it out of our mind, and left for our trip. Upon our return, I called Gary at 8:30 AM on a Monday morning. He happened to be working on a job in Plainfield, so he made our home in South Naperville his second stop of the day (perhaps we were just lucky in this regard).
By 10:30 AM, he had diagnosed our problem (an improperly installed shower drain and cracked flange made apparent by our badly clogged pipes), cleared the shower pipes of debris, and made the necessary repair. He took pains to keep our costs low (he easily could have recommended replacement of the flange or the entire drain, but didn't), provided the name of a local handyman for the drywall and related cleanup we'll need when we close up the hole in our garage, and even sent a text message later in the day asking to be updated after we'd showered to see if any further repair was required.
Quick, clean, courteous, cost-conscious. I wholeheartedly recommend.

I hired Gary to look at a leak for an upstairs bathroom which was causing water to drip from the ceiling below. After a review of the issue during the initial appointment he scheduled another time to handle the issue due to some complexity around accessing the location of the potential leak. During the second appointment he worked very hard and was diligent in finding the exact location of the leak. He then removed the section of the piping where the leak was occurring and installed a replacement portion along with additional support. Once the issue was fixed, he then ran a number of tests to ensure the leak was no longer occurring. I would highly recommend Gary for all plumbing needs.
I woke up to no hot water and called Plumbing Pros based on the reviews. They came within 45 minutes and said that the water heater needed replacement. He looked up the year of the model -14 years old -and indicated that the warranty expired after six years. He gave me an estimate for how much it would cost to replace it and told me to call him if I wanted it replaced that day. I called for a second opinion and estimate which also said it needed to be replaced. Plumbing pros was the better estimate by a few hundred dollars. The service was exceptional. They laid down materials so that my floors wouldn't get damaged in the process, they finished the job in about two hours, they showed me how to operate the new water heater, and gave me instructions for maintenance and then register the warranty and sent a bill before leaving my home. He also asked me to text him to confirm that it was working. I got busy doing some work at home and didn't text him so he texted. Highly recommend this service.
Our sump pump broke and I was looking for a plumber. I found the fabulous reviews here and I thought I'd give Plumbing Pros a try. Gary was able to come give us a free estimate within a few hours of me calling and he was able to replace our sump pump and backup battery that same day. Gary was able to squeeze me in that Saturday even though he said they were pretty booked. He even gave me a yelp discount after he asked where I had heard about them.
I wasn't home for the actual install but my sister and father said they were more than impressed with the gentlemen that was sent and said they would definitely use them in the future. We had two faucets installed (one in the kitchen, one in a bathroom) and both look and function well.

Gary and his team were super speedy responding to us. They gave us full disclosure on possible obstacles/issues with our project and ran a gas line to our kitchen so we could have our ideal set up of a gas stove top and electric oven. They also helped install our new appliances which went above and beyond. We had an unexpected issue with our 8 year old water heater during the process of pulling the gas line, but they replaced it at the same time and although it was an unanticipated expense, we're glad we have a new water heater that is under full service warranty from Gary's team personally for 3 years. Overall they are nice guys and a pleasure to work with.

I honestly was hesitant on posting a bad review for this company as I much prefer to spread good news than bad. Having said that, if my review helps this company to improve then the post was well worth it.
Had a situation where our main line out to the street was somehow blocked. At the time of the call to Plumbing Pros, frankly I did not know if it was an internal or external pipe, none-the-less everything was backing up through the basement shower drain. Use the sinks upstairs? The water would show up in the downstairs shower. Flush the toilets? The water would appear in this downstairs shower. Obviously something was wrong.
I called the Plumbing Pros on a Saturday night, knowing that I would be in for some overtime charges. None-the-less, I obviously needed this fixed. I was connected to one of the technicians, who promised me that he would be out on Sunday morning around 9:00 a.m. to take a look.
Well Sunday at 9:00 a.m. came, no technician. No problem, give him a little time. 10:00 a.m. came, 11:00 a.m. came, 12:30 p.m. came, no technician. I finally received a text at 1:25 p.m. in the afternoon. It was the technician, basically apologizing that he did not make it. The reason? He basically had a late night on Saturday and he woke up late on Sunday morning. I could not make this up. Honestly, I have to give the guy credit for being honest, but I also have to obviously question his professionalism.
In fairness to the technician, he did call me the next day to apologize and offered to come out at no charge to fix the problem. But if you are reading this and have had emergency plumbing problems before, you know that apologizes for irresponsible behavior just are not going to cut it. Along with wasting an entire Sunday morning and part of the afternoon, we had to scramble to get other plumbers out to take a look.
Again, I cannot condemn this entire company as I have read nothing but good reviews about them and I do sense that they do great work. I believe this was a technician problem and not a company problem. Having said that, it goes without saying that I will not be using them anytime soon.
Great service. Returned my call within a day and was out to look at a leak within a few days. Explored all options for solving the problem and fixed the leak with ease. Great service!

I needed a leaking shower door repaired, and was told plumbers do this work...it didn't seem to me to be a plumbing job, but I did call several to ask if they repair leaking shower doors. Nobody even returned my call--even the plumber I've used for years did not bother to call me back. Except Gary of Plumbing Pros. He is the only one who returned my call, and he told me that although he does not do that work, he could give me the name of someone who does. Wow, what a thoughtful and kind soul, to take the time to return my call when I don't even have work appropriate for him. But I can see a winner when presented to me, and next time I DO have a plumbing issue, I will be calling Plumbing Pros. I've already been shown that they are a class act, and I will be glad to work with them in the future.

Contacted Plumbing Pros because water was backing up into our lower level any time we used water in the house. Gary contacted me back after I left a message. He was able to give me a window of when he could come the same day. About a half hour before the window discussed, Gary contacted me to let me know their previous job had ran long, but they were still coming out as soon as they could. A couple of hours later he contacted me again to let me know their previous job had just completed and they were on their way. I greatly appreciated the way they kept informed of their estimated arrival time. From the moment they arrived, Gary explained everything they were doing and then gave me an up front price. They got straight to work rodding the sewer line. After rodding the line, they cleaned up the bathroom and had me watch as they ran the camera down the line. Luckily the line wasn't as bad as it could be. Gary offered some next steps that didn't need to be done right away, but would be beneficial to do in the future. Based on the amount of roots they pulled from our line, and the time they spent working here, the price seemed more than fair. We just moved to the area, and I think we found our go to plumber.
The Plumbing Pros were great. Gary, the owner was friendly and accommodating and was even able to get the job done a day earlier than expected. He sent out Bobby who couldn't have been better. He explained everything that he was going to do, was able to do it in no time flat, and was very friendly. I highly recommend Plumbing Pros.
Found on Yelp and the great past reviews - they are all spot on - I would give them more stars if I could! Gary was great, professional, got straight to diagnosing my water leaks which was my emergency call to him. He found where they were comming from and was fast to fix - within 2 hrs he took care of leaks and also repaced one of my sump pumps that was not working properly. I already scheduled a followup for some more work I need done that I was waiting to find the right company - I found the right company!.
A few weeks ago, our water heater went out. I called around to MANY different plumbers to get the job taken care of. I spoke with Gary and he was very informative, friendly, and competitively priced. My husband and I decided to hire him. Within a few hours, Gary let us know he already got the part we needed and would be out first thing in the morning. He was on time and extremely professional. He even removed his shoes before coming into our house. He quickly fixed the problem, answered a few questions I had, and left the work area clean when he left. I will absolutely use Gary and Plumbing Pros again and recommend the company to family and friends.
This is just crazy. So, the Gary messages me on yelp that they are busy for at least another week. I explain to him that we really need help this week since our construction is on hold. This guy drops everything and drives over to my place. Explains everything to me and why the previous quote I received from a different plumber was better and he could not do it any cheaper. He even talked to the city inspector and resolved an issue with the type of pipe we should be using. No charge whatsoever. We did not hire the company but was impressed nonetheless.

Gary replaced my two water heaters and made a number of water and gas piping improvements to allow me to move the location of the water heaters. Gary provided a fair quote and the amount quoted is what I was asked to pay at the end of the day. Gary and his guys were knowledgeable and friendly, and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. The night they finished the water heater installation, I noticed a leak at one of the connections to the water heater. I texted Gary some pictures and videos of the issue around 10pm. He called me back immediately and was at my house before midnight to fix the leak. I would definitely recommend Plumbing Pros for water heater replacements and other plumbing issues, as they do a good job and stand behind their work.
Contacted them saying that I needed someone out there same day and they delivered. Showed up that afternoon, were very helpful. Thanks!

Gary was the best!!!! We had purchased a new water softener when our old one broke thinking it was going to be an easy swap. Boy we were wrong!! Called Gary and he said no problem and was super reasonably priced! Glad we found a plumber in our area for any other future occurrences.
After trying the usual tricks to try to unclog the kitchen sink myself, I called Gary around 8:00am on Saturday morning. I got a call back by 9:00 and Rick was at our door by 1:00. So I was very impressed with the company's responsiveness. Rick was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. As a new homeowner, I wanted to learn a little bit more about my pipes and Rick didn't seem put off at all about me watching over his shoulder. In fact, I would say the opposite. Rick was very open about what he was doing, why he was doing it and offered up other methods to prevent the clogs in the future. It was a crash course in plumbing. Rick used the 50 foot power auger to clear out the pipes and the water was flowing and draining in no time. He was here about 90 minutes and the whole thing cost $175.
I would highly recommend Plumbing Pros., I expect you might be able to find a better deal to unclog a sink, but to me, their responsiveness and professionalism is first rate. Hopefully I don't have many plumbing issues in the future, but if I do I will be calling Gary.
Excellent service and great prices! Gary was so helpful in explaining our needs for our sump pumps (which were broken) and he didn't try to sell us more than what was necessary. We will definitely be repeat customers!!
This review is a little overdue, sorry Gary! Gary came out and removed an old garbage disposable from a house we had just moved in to back in August. He was very courteous and went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and that there was no leakage. He was out here longer than he anticipated but was true to his estimate and didn't charge us more. He spent my husband's birthday with him, thank you Gary :)! Highly recommended and will definitely use them in the future if needed.

I cannot say enough about the customer service I received from Gary / Plumbing Pros. Simply amazing. I have a rental property in Aurora and the tenant had not 1, but 2 toilets with issues. Gary had someone to the property in the same day to assess the situation, provided an immediate quote, and it was repaired right away the next day. Not to mention the price was more then reasonable. I highly recommend Plumbing Pros and will be using them from here on out!

I was referred to Gary by a friend. I called and told him that I was thinking about a new sump pump and maybe even a battery backup. Gary was professional on the phone and asked all the right questions. He pointed out even though my house is only 10 years old the sump pump is the original. Based on Gary's professional opinion he suggested its better to be safe than sorry. Especially since I have a finished basement why risk another season on a 10 year old pump.. So the next morning Gary came out and changed my sump pump. Its seemed like he changed it in no time. It was shocking since the sump pump is tucked in a corner with a cabinet built over it to hide it. Even with a small access panel on the side he was able to get in and change it out fast. While he was here he suggested that it would be a good idea for a battery backup system. We frequently get power outages here in spring and summer. He recommended a phenomenal brand that he sells and installs. His price on the sump pump and install was competitive but his level of service, professionalism, and experience is second to none. I look forward to having Gary come back and install that battery back up.
Thank you so much for all your help! Gary and Rick are great to work with. Rick installed my new dishwasher when two other installers from the big box store could not. It required a lot of maneuvering and cutting of my tile floor. The job was done at a reasonable price and the quality is superb (cannot even tell the floor tiles were cut). Highly recommend them.
Gary was awesome. I had a couple gas leaks which Nicor found, and they subsequently turned the gas off to my entire house. Gary came around midnight, and was able to take care of the leaks, and was able to turn my gas back on. He also gave me some insight on some other plumbing issues he noticed. Gave me a more than reasonable rate for coming out so late.

My wife and I had just bought a house in unincorporated West Chicago and we found out immediately the water was terrible. Our initial concern was water filtration. I contacted Plumbing Pros because of the Yelp reviews. Gary called me back the same day and came out the following Saturday. In the first phone call and on the appointment, it's obvious that Gary knows his trade. He and his company are about quality and taking care of customers. Our water heater was almost shot (we knew that) and he advised us on getting it replaced and re-piping a large portion of the current set up to make room for water filtration. He even advised that while he could do the water filtration, he recommended we contact a good friend of his who designs and installs filtration systems. That said a lot to me - a guy who is not just trying to get more business for himself. He and Nick completed their work this past Saturday and we were blown away. Incredible work with the piping. He even came by yesterday to help his friend Tom with the water filtration install and make sure everything was going smoothly. He even did some work on our washing machine input hose that had been caked with deposits from our previous bad water - and didn't charge us a penny. They go above and beyond. If want high quality and the job to be done right, just give them a call.
Plumbing Pros fixed a horribly stopped up kitchen sink...that had supposedly been unclogged only a short time before by another company. The clog was far worse than first expected and Gary had to go into pipes in the basement. The price was cheaper than the other service, yet much more work was done. Gary explained everything, gave us some chemical to treat the sink should it stop up again, and called a few days later to make sure everything was working. I'm with Katie P - if I could give a higher rating, I would. Plumbing Pros is my only plumber from now on.
