Alex is a Master Plumber ,Certified Plumbing Inspector IDPH owner at Rooter Plumbing & Sewer . He started his career in the construction industry in 2001 as master Electrician. In 2004 he start a plumbing company and In 2008 become Licensed Plumber specializes in all areas of plumbing including commercial, residential, and service. I had a clogged underground downspout drain in La Grange area. Just noticed it during installation of new gutters, replacing probably 40 year old gutters. Rooter showed up within an hour for a free estimate. He got hands on and showed me how extremely jam packed it was with dirt and roots. It had probably been that way for years and years.

He offered a few solutions and was honest about the probability of it being a total loss anyway after trying those solutions, needing to dig up and replace the pipe. In the end, I think I'm going to avoid it altogether and go with a normal above ground downspout solution.

Rooter has fast, reliable, honest service. I'm going to call them again the next time I need a plumber.

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day. He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning. Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly. He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing. Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

My 21 year old hot water heater died and after some research I reached out to Rooter Plumbing. Alex (the owner) responded immediately and 2 days later (he actually offered to come the next day but i was out of town) he was at my house with the new heater. Arrived on time and worked efficiently and left the place spotless. I had a few questions and reached out to Alex again and he was so responsive! Great service, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy. I will definitely be using them again!
