HISTORY


Established in 2006.
I have been in the plumbing trade since I was 19, in 1993. I have worked for some of the best plumbers in the business, including a true legend and innovator, and attended the Building and Fire Code Academy prior to passing my licensing examination. I opened Goode Plumbing LLC in Chicago in 2006. Our focus has always been that of 100 percent customer satisfaction and top quality workmanship and products. We are still a small shop, but one that has grown every year. My goal is to keep it small enough so that you receive the personal service you have come to expect from us, but large enough to serve you well. We have a fantastic team that treats our customers with compete respect. I back up my claim of striving to be the best plumbing service company in the business with the best warranty, period. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER


I have worked in the trade of plumbing since 1993. In 1993 I worked for a small, hard working, excellent  family owned plumbing company that is still in business today. The owner had a wealth of knowledge when it came to very old plumbing systems and unusual problems. He passed this on to me. I then worked for a luxury plumbing contractor, installing systems and fixtures in multi million dollar homes. I also had the opportunity to work for one of the oldest and largest plumbing service companies in Phoenix, Arizona, working for a true innovator and alongside the best plumbers in the country. I attended the Building and Fire Code Academy as well as American Contractors schools for classroom education in the trade of Plumbing. I continue to be educate myself and my employees in the latest techniques and technology in plumbing. Please feel free to call if you have any questions about our service.

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

Goode Plumbing took care of an issue with my shower so quickly. I've been trying to get someone there for the past 6 months and finally was referred to them, thank goodness! They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

Mikey and Joey were very punctual. They asssesed the situation I was having at my condo, and provided options to solve the plumbing problem. They were very professional. I highly recommend. Also, the customer I spoke early that morning was courteous. Thank you to Goode plumbing!

My sink was blocked and I called Goode Plumbing who sent our a two-man team within four hours of my call.  Jared and Martin were amazing and diagnosed and fixed my sink problem within ten minutes!!!  This is my second time calling on Goode Plumbing and I am sure it will NOT be my last time!

Hands down THE worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Had an issue with the work that was done, called 3 times to speak with someone and kept getting pushed off. Our business used to refer them tons of clients but I will be sure to deter clients from using them at all costs.

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

Mikey and Joey were very punctual. They asssesed the situation I was having at my condo, and provided options to solve the plumbing problem. They were very professional. I highly recommend. Also, the customer I spoke early that morning was courteous. Thank you to Goode plumbing!

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

My sink was blocked and I called Goode Plumbing who sent our a two-man team within four hours of my call.  Jared and Martin were amazing and diagnosed and fixed my sink problem within ten minutes!!!  This is my second time calling on Goode Plumbing and I am sure it will NOT be my last time!

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. Goode Plumbing took care of an issue with my shower so quickly. I've been trying to get someone there for the past 6 months and finally was referred to them, thank goodness! They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. Hands down THE worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Had an issue with the work that was done, called 3 times to speak with someone and kept getting pushed off. Our business used to refer them tons of clients but I will be sure to deter clients from using them at all costs.

This is about a loan they pushed on me two years ago, GreenSky. This is my fault: I should have paid it off while it was interest-free. However, the terms of that loan are so bad that minimum payments have increased my debt instead of decreasing it. They should never work with this service; it's predatory. What if I had no money and could not repay this loan in time, but the company pressured me to do this? This is how you trick people into massive debt.

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

Goode Plumbing took care of an issue with my shower so quickly. I've been trying to get someone there for the past 6 months and finally was referred to them, thank goodness! They set up the appointment with my tenants and informed me of everything before, to get approval and payment, and then contacted me right away when they were finished.

Completely dissatisfied and disgusted with two recent jobs by Goode Plumbing, especially considering that I am a repeat customer (3 jobs in 2020-2021) who had a good experience with this company in the past.  Not only did they not do the job as outlined in the estimate/proposal (rebuild a vintage shower... in fact they did not rebuild anything), but even worse, now the shower is not functioning at all.  So, I paid $1,700 to have damage to my vintage shower that will now cost me at least $1,200 to fix (according to another plumber).  Not to mention that they kept my credit card on file without my authorization and charged the final payments without my authorization.  Also the scheduling and follow up from the office staff was pathetic.  One person seemed to know what was going on and another, completely clueless.  Will not work with this company in the future.

Mikey and Joey were very punctual. They asssesed the situation I was having at my condo, and provided options to solve the plumbing problem. They were very professional. I highly recommend. Also, the customer I spoke early that morning was courteous. Thank you to Goode plumbing!

My sink was blocked and I called Goode Plumbing who sent our a two-man team within four hours of my call.  Jared and Martin were amazing and diagnosed and fixed my sink problem within ten minutes!!!  This is my second time calling on Goode Plumbing and I am sure it will NOT be my last time!
