I honestly can't think of a single thing that Phil could have done to make things better. I would recommend Alki Sewer to anyone in need of sewer help.

My toilet was running, I sent Otter an email and they responded right away and had an opening the next day , they showed up in the window time frame , we're polite and courteous, and professional. Evaluated my issue and gave me a reasonable quote. Had my toilet repaired within the hour. I highly recommend them. They are also a local company to maple valley which is important to me.

Okay! So, let me tell you all a story. I bought my house in 2017. Doggo and I moved in and quickly discovered the need for a new shower head, laundry hookup attachment, and of course, doggo door (because i am not waking up at 5am to let the dog out okay? Its just not a thing). I do some googling/yelping and come across these guys and im like cool, cmon out. They do, 2 hours later I am good to go for like? Idk 200ish? (This was 3 years ago mind you). I was happy, it was what they quoted me and they were prompt. Fast forward to today, im getting my house ready to sell. I contact a few handyman, two of them no show, im slightly peeved at this point (understatement) and then i remember, hey, check your old yelp messages, those one guys were really good! So again, I contact All in One, and speak with Leon. Now my schedule is pretty tight, and he's like No worries. We can get there Friday morning? Perfect! See you at 9.
Y'all he was EARLY! 8:30 hits and he is here, with his mask, because he is a good person who cares about people, and is like lets take a look. Now because im a legit terrible person and also forgetful, i failed to mention two extra things I needed. Does this man blink? No he does not! He is i can fix it, no worries. I have been trying to get this done for WEEKS. Not only does he fix what I ask him to, he goes above and beyond to make sure it looks right. I cannot begin to express the amount of relief that has come over me at this point. If I could give 10 stars I would, or like, 15. 15 stars.

We recently had a pipe burst within our walls during this cold snap Seattle is in. We had no idea what to do as something like this has never happened to us before and we're renters so we weren't sure where to turn. Our neighbor recommended LCP and they're great! They were totally slammed with calls just like ours but they were still able to get to us in a timely manner, the man I spoke to on the phone was the owner and he was sympathetic and kind as I babbled like an idiot trying to tell him what the problem was. The prices were very reasonable and we would definitely go with them again in the future! They service areas other than North Seattle so even if you're not in the area, give them a call!

Look no further for a honest, ethical plumber! Plus he's a super nice guy. Our older home had a plugged up sewer line and Brandon was immediately responsive, quick, efficient and tidy with his work and his prices are beyond fair. If you need plumbing repair, do not hesitate to call Limitless; absolute stand up outfit. We'll certainly be hiring them for some additional repairs we know are coming down the pike.

Was very courteous and gave a call prior to showing up, and they were ahead of schedule. Called to see if arriving early was acceptable, which worked for us. They diagnosed the issue rather quickly and communicated very well, showing me what the problem was. Solved it quickly, thank you!

Had a great experience with this company today. We had a pipe break and was leaking 2gallons of water per minute costing us hundreds of dollars on our water bill. Everyone we called could not get us in for weeks. Ace Works found a way to help us out in our time of need! They sent Tom out to our house that day and within a few hours a new valve was installed and water could be restored to our house. The work was done professionally and when they left there was no sign that they were ever here. I highly recommend this business.

Good- quick availability, fast work, problem resolved
Bad - quality of finished work/product, lack of transparency
Summary - if your problem requires replacing your toilet, I would recommend you to go to the store to ensure what is purchased meets your needs.
Details -
We had Michael's come in to look at a plumbing issue. The person who came to fix the problem suggested that we replace the entire toilet. I had specifically told them that I want the same kind of toilet before he went to the store to purchase. After the work was done, I found that the one installed did not match the base size, seat cover, handles. I was told that what he got was the only kind available. However, this weekend when my husband went to Lowe's (which is the closest place to us), he found the exact one like ours.
Considering I spent close to $600
(which includes about $100 including taxes to get rid of the old toilet), I am not super happy about how the new toilet looks. I don't like the plastic seat and cover and guess that can be replaced but that's for another day. There was no transparency about the options for the new toilet or the breakdown of the cost (how much was spent on the parts vs labor) and there wasn't much choice i had when I saw the new one after it was all installed.

Josh got back to me quick with an estimate and was able to get me scheduled 2 days out. He showed up on time, was very friendly and got the job done quick! He also got back to me later that day to confirm the paperwork had been submitted to the city. I will definitely use 5 Star again! Thanks!

Todd really seems to know his stuff. I've used him several times before and I even recommended him for a larger water heater job in a condo complex I used to live. But, I just called him up to get a second estimate from him on a job where the original quote seemed a little high. I had told him that I had already talked to another plumber before he came.
Todd came out and looked at the project and gave me a quote. I had tentatively set up the appointment with the other plumber, but was willing to cancel that, as we still had to firm things up with the other plumber. Before Todd left, when I told him that I had made the appointment with the other guy, Todd got really irritated with me, and said I don't have time for this, do you know how busy I am??? As he stormed off, I was trying to tell him I was still making a decision, he said well that's ok, because I just did and he drove off. I would have canceled with the other guy. The truth is I never even got to finish my sentence.
Unbelievable he would act this way and get so pissed off. I'm a professional real estate investor, and I work with different contractors all the time. I always get a second quote, and I've never had anyone get angry with me because I happened to have things set up with another guy. It's really none of their business if I have an appointment set up with another guy. This is common practice. If it turns out that someone brings along better service, I will change things up. Plumbers seem to charge almost as much as surgeons these days. God-forbid he'd take a little time out of his busy schedule to get a bid in on a job, especially for someone that has funneled a lot of work his way up until now.
So - I give Todd five stars for the work he does and 1 star for people skills when dealing with frustration. I know things are good now for plumbers but at some point they will slow down, then maybe he'll have a little less of a myopic perspective on how he treats people.
One customer well taken care of could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising.

Update to my comment in response to Todd's response to this:
I don't recall saying I wanted to see if the other plumber was ripping me off, but that's not the point. I've never come across a contractor, tradesperson, etc. who balked so hard at the idea of me getting more than one quote, and I've definitely never even heard of one verbally unload on a customer and abruptly end a conversation/relationship, because someone had the audacity to waste a whole ten minutes of his day. Obviously, business is good enough for Todd Allred that he doesn't need my business, he just shouldn't expect five star reviews for getting unglued so easily. Again, this is especially surprising in consideration of the fact that I pushed for Todd to get the job of replacing all the water heaters in a 40 unit condo complex. I went to bat for him. I honestly thought we were friends on some level. I was just caught off guard and very surprised.

Everything said here about interesting personality traits is true. But, if you've ever paid over $1.100 to have a dishwasher installed with no explanation then you learn to appreciate an honest plumber. Walt is that and more. He's got a boneyard from whence have come parts at little to no charge. He's got the experience that enables him to maximize his time and that, combined with a very reasonable hourly rate makes him a bargain.

I didn't think I could feel this emphatically positive about a plumbing business, but here we are. My water heater was leaking over the summer - I called around and most places were a week out from being able to even come by and assess. On top of that, found out I have a boiler system which even fewer places work on. These guys put me on the calendar but said if a sooner opening came up they would get to me faster. Yeah right, I thought. That won't happen. IT DID. Install was super fast.
But this is where it gets better - the intallation tech points out the T&P valve and says just a heads up, you're also pretty close to end of life on this thing. I'm not gonna replace it because it's expensive & it's not an issue right now but just be aware GREAT. Opportunity to charge me more and they didn't needlessly take it. Sure enough, a few months later my water isn't heating as much. We're in a pandemic, things are crazy, they are somehow yet again the only ones that can squeeze me in. Same tech, he makes sure to test it to confirm its the issue instead of just replacing it and it ends up being something else. So yeah, I cannot say enough good things about them. They were honest, upfront, provided great advice, amazing costumer service - honestly just a rare gem of a company.

Ryan is incredibly professional and was able to provide repairs very quickly after our desperate call. He fixed our burst pipe, clearly explained what was going on and recommended next steps for us to take. I would absolutely work with him again, he helped us quickly in a huge way. Thank you!!

My 27 year old water heater finally quit on me and so a new one was needed.
Read all the positive reviews on yelp and decided to give them my business. Response was super quick. Amazingly they were able to replace my water heater the same morning that I called! Excellent technicians replaced the old unit quickly and efficiently. No fuss. Highly recommended.

We began a bathroom remodel of our 1950s rambler and in the course noticed lots of small rocks in the sewer line. We called PE NW and they came out to perform a camera inspection of the sewer line. They arrived promptly and we were able to view the video with the plumber as he performed the inspection. The results of the concrete sewer pipes being buried for 60 years wasn't pleasant. In the end, here's what we really appreciated in choosing PE NW to replace the line:
1) They offer/explain the available options. We could choose the cheapest (in the short run) or more expensive (saving money down the line). All of the benefits and drawbacks were very adequately explained to us and we felt very comfortable with any choice (no pressure).
2) They communicate very effectively and timely once a decision is made. We understood the timeline and all of the processes involved.
3) They work fast. The crew removed (entire sidewalk) dug out and replaced the necessary pipes in very short order and we were able to carry on with the remodel.
We really appreciate PE NW's approach to doing business and very highly recommend them.
Thanks!

Phenomenal service. We called Pipe Doctor in an emergency and they were able to come out to the house within a couple of hours to take a look and give an estimate. We had been told by one of the big companies that it would be an extensive job, requiring excavation of a large section of our yard because they couldn't pinpoint the location of the main line, and that it was possible after a day of digging that they would need to tear up the kitchen floor if they still couldn't find it. Trisha and Josh knocked on our neighbor's door and came back like 20 minutes later with the exact location and depth of the main line, and their quote was cheaper. More importantly, they were willing to do the work next day even though it was forecasted to rain and they were done by 5. They appreciated the absolute pain it was to be without water in our home, especially with a 9 month old, and they really came through for us. They answered many, many questions for us along the way and were always patient and professional. Trisha and Josh work hard and I'm really happy we found them.

Never showed up. I set up an appointment with the plumber to meet me the next morning and he never showed up or even called to cancel.
I guess that wasn't unexpected. When I called to set-up the appointment, I was greeted with a simple hello?. Not very professional.

I will say overall I had a good experience with these guys. I had an issue with my bathtub where it was leaking. I tried a few quick fixes on my own, but they did not solve the problem. I was contemplating attempting a bigger fix, but called a plumber first.
First thing is first They are on yelp. I wrote a message and they got back to me pretty quickly. I appreciate that a lot. At this point I have to be honest and state that all of this was about a year ago and I remember having no issues at all, but cannot remember the exact events that took place. The few things I remember are they were on time, quick, and seemed fair. Basically what I was hoping was going to be an easy fix, ultimately was, but was definitely something I would not be able to do. They knocked out the job in a hour or so. It was awesome.
Now here comes the negative aspect of the review. And before I get to this point let me once again say I was ultimately satisfied with the job, what they did was well done. After the work was done he wanted to take a look at the water heater to see if it needed to be replaced. This is when we determined it was 14-15 years old and probably needed to be replaced. This part didnt bother me a lot, but we have waited on the replacement and I definitely see that it needs to be replaced eventually, but I am glad i have waited so far. The part that was not great was getting a quote to replace the toilet. The price felt really high, now to be honest I cannot remember the exact number, but I think it was close to $250/toilet and closet o $500 to replace and purchase of a toilet. Now this price didnt seem crazy at the time, but my brother in law and I replaced my toilet with a new one in about 60-120 mins and it cost the price of the toilet and a case of beer. To sum up the negative I would call the work a bit pricey, and in the future will definitely shop around before choosing a single person. Also I would say the water heater thing was a bit predatory. Overall satisfied, but I will definitely shop around.

I have reached out to discuss but have not received a response back so while I much appreciated the response to the review, I am done spending my time and energy on this. It was definitely an unnecessarily expensive and disheartening experience
