Reviews
Allred plumbing is the best plumbing business in the area..
I used lots of plumbers in the past but Allred is the best.
I signed up for their service which is great..
They are competent reliable reasonable and very responsive to customers..
Highly recommend!!
We were referred to Chipper Plumbing (Allred's) by another plumbing service who did not have availability. We are in the middle of renovating our guest bathroom and needed a plumber to set a new fiberglass tub before our tile guy could get to work. My wife met with the plumber by herself as I was out of town.
Let me preface this by saying she knows zero about plumbing and this is probably pretty clear to any plumbing professional. That being said, she thought the plumber that they sent out was knowledgeable and professional. Then he gave her a quote for over $8,000 which was much more than we were anticipating. We decided to check with our contractor and another family friend who is a plumber. They both said that number was ridiculous and to get another plumber in to look. We decided to call two more plumbers in and were quoted $1,800 and $2,200 respectively for the same work. The company we went with had all work completed by one guy within 4 hours.
When we reached back out to Chipper to see if they could give us a breakdown of their cost, we received no reply.
Normally I would just move on and let this slide without a review. But trying to take advantage of my clearly pregnant wife shows pretty low morals and I think they deserve to be called out on it.
I called to ask if they could fix a clogged sink we were unable to fix with our snake. The man who answered the phone said, sure and that it would be $89. The next day, the plumber arrives and states that the cost will be $450!! I asked what happened to the $89? He said that the other guy shouldn't have said that and it's $450. I could decline the service at that point and pay $100 for the service call and still be no closer to solving the problem, so I relented and had the service done. 40 minutes later, he was done and gone. That works out to be close to $600 an hour. Even doctors don't charge that rate!
Called them for boiler (radiant floor heating) work. Two techs came, who knew nothing about the boiler. Did a diagnostic for almost $700 and replaced the flame rollout switch which turned out later to be the incorrect type. Suggested we replace the entire system to the tune of $24,000, which is ridiculous since the boiler was installed in 2000. Their diagnostic did not even note the heat exchangers were clogged with dust and such. When their repairs malfunctioned after several hours , we had to call a more knowledgeable boiler repair company, who changed out the incorrect part and did a thorough cleaning of the unit for a third of the price. Works now like a charm. We also allowed Allred to change out our water heater which we knew was leaking. While removing it from the boiler room, they banged the boiler, causing a leak in its pipes.Workers also knocked over a bottle of laundry detergent, spilling it all over shoes and the floor, which we discovered later, as they never mentioned it. They wanted us to pay $1800 to repair their damage, which would also entail a full drain of the system. Called and spoke to manager (Josh) who after conferencing with his workers, refused to admit the damages were their fault, telling us our boiler room door was too narrow to remove the old water heater. They refused to even split the leak repair cost with us, which we generously suggested we would agree to. Not at all interested in pleasing a disappointed customer. Just mansplained it all and left the leak unrepaired. (Second company fixed it for next to nothing and it did not need a drain of the entire system as we were told.) I see other reviews describe similar issues, including damage they will not own up to, so it's not just us. I don't like the way the estimate/bill are not broken down to show the labor cost. The parts are not that expensive so they must charge a inordinate amount for labor, but you don't know because it's not itemized. We won't be calling Allred again and will not recommend them to anyone. We'll recommend the other company.

After doing a lot of research, I thought I was in good hands with Allred's when my Navien tankless water heater needed repair.
Scheduling: I called and scheduled for a visit. The day comes and no one shows up. Turns out I was never fully put through the system, so no one was scheduled to show up. Ouch, I don't have hot water/heat for several more days. (In all transparency, they did refund the cost to come out, but it's not much compared to the next few fees..)
Cost to diagnose: It was $100 for them to come out and turns out it cost an additional ~$600 to diagnose and cover future trips where required. What I found was that a lot of plumbers won't give you the cost to diagnose or even an hourly rate on the phone. They can argue that each system is unique but they did an hours worth of troubleshooting and charged this insane price.
Cost to fix: The diagnosis was that my unit's circulation pump and secondary circulation pump was broken. Mind you this is a 2 year old unit. I was quoted $2000 to fix it. What blew me away was that the secondary circulation pump cost $1200 to replace. The pump costs $100 at Home Depot... I was quoted $400 to drain the system, so how can you charge $1100 just to replace it? Sure there is a markup on supplying it, but even from an hourly perspective, how could you charge that much? They also pushed that they were able to make the repair the same day so that I would just pay the insane cost (with the $100 refund from the scheduling snafu.. woohoo..) . I insisted to shop around and boy was I happy.
Diagnosis/Alternative plumber experience: They actually misdiagnosed the issue on top of all that. I called another business that specialized in radiant heating. They had transparent pricing ($289 - how much it cost to come out and it included first hour of diagnosis; $240 - how much it was every additional hour, billed in 15 minute increments). They were able to diagnose, fix the actual problem, and even service it in an hour and a half (air bubble in unit + low pressure causing circulation pumps to not operate).
As a new homeowner, I'm hoping this review helps when people are on the search to fix their water heater.

I called Allred's Plumbing, My hydronic heating system did not provide heat to one of the rooms in my home. I was provided 2 estimates. One estimate for $6000.00 and as an alternative a estimate for $750.00 for some maintenance on my system which the person servicing my home recommended I do not get. I advised Allred's plumbing that I would get a second opinion from a another service provider and get back to him.
The next day, a Saturday, my tenants sent me photos of water coming out of the heating system which was running down the drywall in my garage anda ll over the floor.. I called and left a message with Allred's answering service. I got a call back from Allred's on Monday morning. They offered me two options. A $6000.00 fix or a $750.00 fix. Allred's did not offer to send their tech back out to investigate why water was running out of my system.
I declined both of Allred's 2 options and drove to my property with the issue. Allred's had left a pressure relief valve open on my system causing it to have a steady steam of water come out all over the drywall and floor in my garage. I closed the valve and the water stopped leaking from causing further damage to the home.. I called another Hydronic heating service provider for a second opinion. The other company was able to fix my system and get heat to the room that needed it for a fraction of the lowest price quoted to me by Allred.
I have used Allred Plumbing on 2 occasions and was disappointed both times. I cannot recommend Allred's and will never use them again. Use Allred's at your own risk. If you have unlimited funds and don't mind overpaying then Allred's might be right for you.
Ran into issues mostly because I didn't adequately research things, it was mostly cost related, not service related however they do stand by the 100% satisfaction guarantee and they worked everything out and I am satisfied with their resolution to the problem
Update: 1 of the 2 toilets they installed stopped working, they tried to clean it was a plumbing issue even though they replaced some of that and it wasn't working well when they left then it stopped. Eventually they did come out and fix for no additional charge at least.
Far worse though they cracked our brand new tile flooring! They claim it wasn't them but no one has been living in the house and this is the first work we are having done on the bathroom! Despite this information they refuse to take responsibility for the damage they caused!
First felt ripped off with their simplified pricing that hides the fact that they charge obscene labor cost with it being over 80% it seems. I think they do this so you don't realize you are getting entry level toilets for deluxe prices. They reduced when complained but then the quality was bad and they denied an issues but eventually agreed they had a problem and eventually fixed it. As of this saga won't end we noticed they cracked our flooring but they won't take responsibility despite it couldn't be anyone else.
Beware!!!! Overpriced, poor service and will damage your home!!! There is a reason they lost so many customers after taking over stacks plumbing, we used them for decades but will never be back. Matt isn't good at his job and josh the owner defends him even when he does a bad job and damaged property.

Me, my wife Renee and son Ethan wanted to thank Matt and Todd (and crew) for amazing service. Top notch craftsmanship and quality materials were used for our pipe replacement. We have an almost 100 yr old house and Matt, Todd and company had the expertise to fix our issue. Our job ran over the day allotted and they found a way to fit us in soon after and brought the cavalry to take care of the job. Thanks so much, we cannot recommend these highly experienced, kind and honest professionals. Jordan in their office is amazing too. Thanks again! Mike

I am so disappointed. I made an appointment for a leaking water heater, and it was confirmed. Understanding their policy is that the homeowner must be on site, I arranged my work schedule and reschedule some meetings to make sure I could be there for the appointment.
Later that day, Allred's called me back to tell me they were canceling my appointment and scheduling it for a different day -- the only day they had available was a day that I would only be available until 9:30am, after which I would not be available. I explained this to the customer service rep and asked if I could please keep the original appointment date. She said no, they had given to someone else already.
She also said that I would need to be physically on site and could not have my tenant (who is extremely trustworthy and in constant communication with me) let them in and call me on the phone. Because they have a policy that the homeowner needs to be physically present, I would need to be there. I explained I could only be physically present on this new date until 9:30am, when I would need to leave. They said they would put me first on the list for an 8-10am window, so that I could leave by 9:30am for the appointment that I could not miss. I appreciated that.
The day came. I arrived at 8am expecting their technician to be there soon because they had told me I was first on the route for the 8-10am service window. I sat in my car until 9:15am, and when no one had shown up or called, I called them. They told me their technician would not arrive UNTIL 9:45AM!!!!! I was crestfallen and had to leave. I asked them to please come anyway and that my tenant could let them in and they could call me with any information, and I could meet them at a later date if needed. I met with my tenant and explained this, and he assured me he would let them in and have them call me for any questions or needs.
The technician arrived at 9:45am, assessed the situation, and told my tenant they would be sending me an estimate for the work. The technician explained to my tenant that I would need to be on site before the work could actually commence. No problem.
A week and a half later an estimate had still not arrived, and no one from Allred's had called me back. I called today to ask them about the estimate and was told THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH ME because I was not on-site for their first visit and they believe I lied to to them (!!!!!)
I explained this is not a situation where anyone is trying to trick them. I was on site physically until 9:30am and then HAD TO LEAVE. I asked if they could please send the estimate, and I would be happy to arrange an appointment to meet them in person, and I'm happy to pay extra for it, before the work commenced.
No dice. I was told they are not going to work with me now or ever, because I violated their policy of not being on site for the initial visit.
I can understand having a policy like this, and that the company needs to cover themselves so that tenants don't order work that landlords don't know about. That makes sense. But in this case, I was forthright and worked with them after THEY changed the appointment date on me, and did everything I could to be there. I made it clear I would be there until 9:30am. They showed up at the 11th hour after telling me I was first on their route.
I guess there must be so much business right now they can say no to whomever they please, but this is just so disappointing. I feel like they have wasted my time, and are treating me like I am a bad person.
I'm disappointed.
-Laura
I have met more than 10 different plumbers within 12 months for a simple problem that no one figured out until the 11th plumber.
Two guys from Allred's (they were the 9th plumber) came to diagnosis my problem for about 15 minutes. They gave me a couple of suggestions that might fix my problem. The quote they gave me was more than double than others I had gotten. I ended up paying them $75.90 for their diagnosis fee and sent them away.
I called them back a few days later (I was out of options because not many plumbers work with radiant heating, which is what I have). I asked if they can come back and try their suggestion. They told me on the phone they will have to charge me another $500 diagnosis fee because my problem was very unusual! I quickly ended the call. Looking back now, I am so glad I did not take their suggestion because none of it would have fixed the actual problem, and I would have wasted another $1000 + more.
Thanks goodness the 11th plumbers came a week later fixed the problem and my life has gone much better since.
Hired Allred to replace a water heater after they bid the job. When they finished, they gave me a bill for twice the amount of the bid. I referred them to a neighbor before they gave me my bill and the next week they did the exact same scam to them. They are extremely unethical, shouldn't be trusted and they do not deserve the opportunity to service homeowners!

I had a random contractor remodel our shower and he did the plumbing all wrong.
I called Allred's plumbing to fix the problem.
Todd and Matt came to help us.
They were great, friendly, knowledgeable.
They did a great work. My only regret is that I didn't have them do my plumbing in the first place.
I am certain nobody solicits an at-home plumbing quote, after spending the most money you will ever spend in your life on a new home, just to be told by the master plumber, You didn't get natural gas with this new house, why did you buy it!? After we let sleight number one go, we were critiqued on the exterior finishing of our new home, then comments on our interior followed. We were made to feel uncomfortable and judged - quite an unprofessional demeanor. To top that off, charged $75.97 (tax incl.) for a quote of $13K. Got this job done with great, licensed service providers for $5.5K. Expect to pay for in-home quotes, but don't expect to pay for overinflated quotes with a generous side-helping of unprofessional, personal judgement. Want my $75.97 back! Hesitant to write this review, as the gentleman who handles all online issues is the one who led this in-home quote.
Honesty Appreciated
James and Ryan answered my request for help with what I thought was a clogged drain from my washing machine. They did a quick inspection and determined that the problem was isolated to the machine. They assured me that If I repaired or replaced the machine and there was a problem in the wall they would waive the service call to return.
I live in Carnation and the pump on our Hydronic heating system which provides both hot water and heat failed. It is a older system and parts are difficult to get. Allreds came out the next day and did a extensive diagnostic of the whole system and ordered the right parts. Today a great technician came out and worked for about three hours and made sure everything was working as it should. He deserve 6 stars.
We had several slowly worsening drainage problems that finally came to a head so we called Allred's. We told them we were on septic but had just pumped it within the last year. They investigated the various issues - unclogged the kitchen sink quickly ($450), recommended auguring the toilet ($340), and confirmed a dying garbage disposal. They quoted $700-$900 to replace the garbage disposal with their own unit and $380 to swap in the new Insinkerator replacement one I'd already bought. I thought both those quotes were way too much, so I tried to decline, but they said without replacing it they couldn't test/warranty the sink fix, so I grudgingly agreed - the swap out took all of 15 minutes for the full $380 charge, with no warranty because I made them use my unit. The toilet augur didn't work, so it was an additional $1,000 to pull the toilet and snake the line more aggressively. Still didn't work. After all that, it turns out the septic tank had a clogged filter and was prematurely full, so we had to call the septic company, and the toilet work was all in vain.
Although their initial diagnoses turned out to be (expensively) wrong, I get that plumbing problems are often mysterious, and I have no issues with Allred's professionalism or quality. If money is no object to you then by all means give them a call. But we ended up paying $2,400 for 4 hours of work - I realize licensed plumbers are expensive, but $600/hour? I'll definitely be giving someone else a shot next time.

I had a leaky disposer and called Allred's
When Allred's initially gave me a disposer replacement quote, I thought it was too expensive compared to the price offered on Amazon's website + Amazon's expert installation service. So I told them no thank you, I'll just pay for the visitation fee ($69 + tax).
Tod, the owner, later called and explained the logic behind the difference in cost, specifically that he hires licensed plumbers and stands behind the work by guaranteeing 100% satisfaction. He also mentioned he doesn't know any licensed plumbers in the area who can meet Amazon's price, and he suspects Amazon is operating by sidestepping state laws. However, he said he is confident the price he offers is comparable to other businesses in the area.
After speaking to the owner, I understand the logic behind their pricing better. I was also genuinely impressed that the owner cared enough to personally follow up. That is something Amazon probably won't do, and that value added may justify the price difference to some.

Update - I'm impressed what Allred did to make this right; they came back and replaced the faucet (contacted me that day), and they explained that the invoice was mistakenly sent out due to some changes in staffing. I'm pleased with how this ended up.
The company that Allred bought - Stack Plumbing - was great. Allred is awful though. Easily double what Stack (and others) charged, and it took 3 weeks to get a simple hose installed. And then - even after sending pictures of the item and having the plumber inspect it - they installed the wrong hose. We refused to pay the balance until they installed the correct hose (the one they installed doesn't fit into the spigot). This was 2 weeks ago, we are still waiting to hear from them. Today they sent me a bill, asking for the remainder of the payment, even though they didn't finish the job. Definitely the last time we're using them. Literally anyone else could do the same job, probably better. The plumber was nice though, that's why i'm giving two stars instead of one.

We did a remodel late 2017/early 2018 and our contractor used Allred's for plumbing work. Everything was great. I needed to replace some appliances and reached out to them with some questions and they were quick to respond and assist me. No complaints so far.

We had an extremely complicated boiler job that we needed help with. We tried multiple different companies till we came access Todd and his team of specialists.
I had a pretty trouble some boiler that we were dealing with for quite some time. They were able to get me on the schedule very quickly. When they came out, they had to do some diagnosing but once it was pin pointed, they got on the repair very quickly.
It's a been a few months now and the issues has not returned! I can't thank them enough for finally fixing the issue we had spend so much money on prior trying to fix!
Thanks Team Allred!
They were very professional, and the job was done well within an hour. They showed up on time, and the plumber was very pleasant.
I was just shocked at how expensive it was. The entire job took less than an hour, and it cost me $700 + tax.
It was $69 for them to show up for the service call.
Then $175 to remove the snake. That was all completed within 30 minutes, and that was reasonably priced, and he was able to do this without cutting into walls or ceilings, which I appreciated.
I was surprised that it cost $453 to snake out the shower drain in addition to the costs listed above. They did quote it before doing the work during this visit, so I paid for the job which I approved. This only took 10 additional minutes, and only included snaking out the 1 drain. I had hoped that for that price, they could snake out additional drains if it went fast and smoothly, but was quoted another $453 to snake out my other shower drain. So I stopped at this point once my urgent needs were met, and did not have them work on other plumbing jobs I would like to address but could not afford to do at these rates.
I am certainly willing to pay more for quality and efficient work, as it is worth it, but I was surprised at the costs associated with this job.
I don't know how much it normally costs to do these repairs, and certainly it would have been much less expensive if I could have been charged an hourly rate, even if it was $200-300 an hour, and would have taken the same time.
Since I don't know what is a fair price, I gave them 4 stars.
If plumbers of similar quality are similarly expensive, then I would have given them 5 stars instead.
If plumbers of similar quality are much less expensive, then I would have given them 3 stars instead.

I called Allred's Plumbing after working with them at a client's home. They responded quickly to an emergency water leak, which required replacing broken pipes as well as the main water shut-off in the basement crawlspace. I called them again to a client's house when a contractor messed up a new shower faucet and control system. Mike's knowledge and experience is fantastic.
My recent call to Mike was to work at my own house, to disassemble two sticky shower control systems, source missing parts (broken by another plumber), and make the control system operate like-new again. He found parts that the manufacturer doesn't make anymore, installed new valve controls, and left the shower in great condition. It took a few weeks to source everything, but Allred's office people communicated very well with me throughout the process, which is so important with service people that come to your house. A big plus is that we had water to the rest of the house while the showers were out of commission.
Thank you, Mike, Kathy, and everyone at Allred's.

We called Allred's plumbing to help with a plumbing issue. Mike and David from Allred's plumbing arrived promptly as scheduled. They were very polite and professional. They went over different options and the cost of each. The work they did was excellent and the parts were of quality grade. They did a check of all the plumbing inside the house and explained what may need to be done in the future. I learned a lot about plumbing today. Thanks Mike and David for the great job.

I recently used this company because many other were busy due to the cold weather. He quoted a price over the phone to come out and take a look at the problem. The issue ended up being small and when it came time for payment, he asked for $200 for 20 minutes. I asked why it was more than double what he quoted and he said it's because he actually fixed it, which he had done without telling me (he added more circulation to the timer, i.e., there wasn't anything to fix, just clicking all hours of the day on the manual timer) and didn't tell me it would cost $200. When I balked, he admitted that he had done it without telling me beforehand and offered the service for free but I don't think that's right either (I did agree to at least the service call price). In the end, he took the $200 (hindsight is 20/20 for me). As stated in a previous review, shoe covers would be nice as well.
*Update based on comments - My issue is that he fixed it without telling me the price first, it was rude and sketchy. I was ready and willing to pay the $90 he quoted, and would have been happy if he walked me through the fixes while he was doing it (I was on a work call for 10 mins) rather than doing it and then charging me $200. He did offer to not charge if I hired him to fix the entire system but I wasn't going to commit to hiring him without getting quotes from other companies (especially after this whole situation).
Just had Mike over to deal with a water heater and bathroom sink problem. Very professional. Great service. Cleared up some confusion about the problems were having, relieved the pressure on the heater valve and gave us options to move forward. They only install a high quality heater so that reflects in the price. But this is the second time I have used them and they are reliable, quick and good at what they do.

Todd really seems to know his stuff. I've used him several times before and I even recommended him for a larger water heater job in a condo complex I used to live. But, I just called him up to get a second estimate from him on a job where the original quote seemed a little high. I had told him that I had already talked to another plumber before he came.
Todd came out and looked at the project and gave me a quote. I had tentatively set up the appointment with the other plumber, but was willing to cancel that, as we still had to firm things up with the other plumber. Before Todd left, when I told him that I had made the appointment with the other guy, Todd got really irritated with me, and said I don't have time for this, do you know how busy I am??? As he stormed off, I was trying to tell him I was still making a decision, he said well that's ok, because I just did and he drove off. I would have canceled with the other guy. The truth is I never even got to finish my sentence.
Unbelievable he would act this way and get so pissed off. I'm a professional real estate investor, and I work with different contractors all the time. I always get a second quote, and I've never had anyone get angry with me because I happened to have things set up with another guy. It's really none of their business if I have an appointment set up with another guy. This is common practice. If it turns out that someone brings along better service, I will change things up. Plumbers seem to charge almost as much as surgeons these days. God-forbid he'd take a little time out of his busy schedule to get a bid in on a job, especially for someone that has funneled a lot of work his way up until now.
So - I give Todd five stars for the work he does and 1 star for people skills when dealing with frustration. I know things are good now for plumbers but at some point they will slow down, then maybe he'll have a little less of a myopic perspective on how he treats people.
One customer well taken care of could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising.
-Jim Rohn
Update to my comment in response to Todd's response to this:
I don't recall saying I wanted to see if the other plumber was ripping me off, but that's not the point. I've never come across a contractor, tradesperson, etc. who balked so hard at the idea of me getting more than one quote, and I've definitely never even heard of one verbally unload on a customer and abruptly end a conversation/relationship, because someone had the audacity to waste a whole ten minutes of his day. Obviously, business is good enough for Todd Allred that he doesn't need my business, he just shouldn't expect five star reviews for getting unglued so easily. Again, this is especially surprising in consideration of the fact that I pushed for Todd to get the job of replacing all the water heaters in a 40 unit condo complex. I went to bat for him. I honestly thought we were friends on some level. I was just caught off guard and very surprised.
We have a 15 y old in-floor radiant heating system that requires some skills, experience, knowledge and more than a bit of patience. These are complex systems that most plumbers are not able to maintain and fix. Allred's plumbing has proven to be more than able to cope with the quirks of the system, identify issues and perform sensible and cost effective repairs. They respond quickly, offer good advice and perform repairs at a sensible cost. We are impressed. This is a professional outfit that we will continue trusting in the future.
Well, we started with what I thought was a simple kitchen sink drain clog. Wrong! Fortunately, Mike was very determined and methodical in addressing the problem - not to mention how patient he was with me and my frustration. Eventually Josh joined in the effort and Kyle arrived to put a camera in the line. Once the clog was identified as being caused by an improper remodel installation 25+ years ago, they had to remove some sheet rock to make the repair and install a cleanout to make any future clogs much easier to fix. Eight plus hours later these guys were finished, cleaned up and I had my kitchen back. Thank you, Allred's and your good specialists!
Allred's was quick to respond to messages, knowledgeable, and able to work our project into their schedule quickly. Our home had pipes installed that are now brittle and breaking and we are anticipating having lots of plumbing issues in the future. We are confident in what they have repaired so far and will continue to call them for issues in the future.
Todd and his assistant fixed a water leak in our hydronic heating system. The fix literally took 30 minutes, but the bill came up to just under $500. Good service, but way over priced.

I had no heat over a very cold weekend. Todd and his team where very responsive and thorough. After troubleshooting my Rinnai and installing a new pump, he determined that flow meter issues and significant scaling/build-up inside the machine had rendered the Rinnai not operational for home-heating purposes. Todd quickly pulled together a quote, rearranged his team's schedule (since heating issues take priority over other work), and completed the install the following day. The installation team was great, quality of work is apparent, and I have heat again! I also had a broken in-wall heater fan replaced at the same time. Price was as expected for work done, no surprises. Would definitely recommend for your tankless water heater/hydronic heating needs.
I was doing a large remodel on an older rental home I own and wanted to re-pipe the whole house. Allred's was recommended to me by the plumber I had used for years for smaller jobs. Good recommendation! Because I was replacing old, galvanized pipe of a small diameter, the permitting process required that we install a new water meter to handle the increased load. The city did that part; and then Allred's did all the rest, including piping, water heater, fixtures, and installation. The crew was fantastic (and tidy!) and kept me informed at every step. This job went on for a few weeks, with lots of other subs in and out of the house; but Allred's was right there when we needed them. They even installed a new, stubbed-out, ready-to-go valve system for my irrigation crew to connect their new piping to. They couldn't believe that a plumber would do that! Made their job easy, too, which saved me money. One of the things I appreciate about them is how they treat their employees and furnish great benefits. That costs a company money, but it also allows them to hire the best employees. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Thanks to Todd, he's a great plumber. STARS for showing up on time***. Fixing my plumbing problems***. Checking on my neighbor's plumbing problem in their bathroom***. And I'm from a plumbing family, so I'm definitely spoiled by having someone on hand, but there are times when you just need to call a pro and not bother the family plumbers- because they're retired or out of town anyway.

Had tenants with no heat since last Friday. Everyone I called was booked and had waiting lists. Hello, did they hear me say there wasn't any heat? I was just about to give up hope when I ran across Allred's Mechanical Solutions phone number on Angie's List. Todd the owner was kind, compassionate and found a way to help me in spite of his busy schedule. I will definitely call again if service is needed. I'm so impressed with the outcome I am planning to schedule a non-emergency maintenance call this spring to make sure I'm ready for next winter. Thank you very much Mr. Allred!
First class service and quick response. OK, so our kitchen plumbing wasn't to code! Todd found a solution, cleaned out the clog, gave us a lot of advice and suggestions to avoid future problems and was off. Only suggestion is I would have appreciated shoe covers as Todd and his assistant, Mickey, tromped around the house. Todd indicated he gets most of his business through referrals. I can see why.

Awesome service! After calling a few plumbers and receiving no response, I found Allred's on Yelp and was answered promptly. Todd provided a lot of information and options for fixing a leak in a tricky area of our basement. Todd was attentive to our scheduling needs and made sure the job was done to the highest quality. Todd and his crew did a great job and left the work area cleaner than it was when they arrived. Thanks for a job well done!
What a great experience I had today with Allred's Mechanical Solutions, LLC. I had a water main leak and no water. I called Allred's Mechanical solutions LLC at the recommendation of Corinne Harpster ND. They had no openings until Friday to be able to help us! I shared with Todd my reasoning for the urgency to get the job done so I may need to call in a different plumber. Less then 10 minuets later Todd the owner called me back and said he could work in a temporary fix this afternoon that would hold me off until he could fix things properly! He showed up gave us water and saved the day. I think Todd and his son Josh should be wearing super hero capes! In a world where it feels most people really don't care about others Todd and Josh showed what real humanity and kindness are! Thanks for making a horrible day so much better!

Todd is awesome. He fixed the clog in my tub in minutes flat. I will definitely call him next time I need a plumber.
The developer of our townhome botched the installation of our hydronic heating system, and for the past few years, we've been struggling to find someone who could actually fix the system so that it would reliably provide hot water and heat to all rooms in the townhome unit. We called dozens of contractors who claimed to have experience with hydronic systems, but none of them could ever fix the system, even after multiple attempts. Many of the contractors never returned our calls; some of them looked at the system and decided they didn't want to take the job; and a few of them made helpful tweaks here and there but never actually fixed the system. Finally, after years of practically begging contractors to come take our money, Todd Alldred came out and truly fixed the system -- in one visit. Our tenants are now enjoying showers that are actually hot rather than lukewarm and wall heaters that actually heat the rooms upstairs. After working with so many other contractors, Todd stands out as the smartest and most qualified to work on hydronic systems. He's also a good communicator. Highly recommended.
