I hired Hoffman Plumbing to do some plumbing work for my salon. I needed two hair washing sinks installed, a washer/dryer hookup and a new hot water heater installed.  
Rich responded quickly via phone and text.  He was easy to do business with.  When we first met he came with a worker, I forget her name (sorry), but she was great.  She was super friendly and complimentary of the new space that looked a mess at the time.  But she saw my vision and I appreciated her enthusiasm. (Sometimes opening a business can be overwhelming and I needed the encouragement)
Throughout the entire process I met a few different workers and they were all polite and friendly. And did a good job.
The price was fair and I appreciated that.
My first complaint was I wish the floor sinks (for hair washing sinks) would have been explained to me a little more.  I don't particularly love them, would of liked to hear a different option.
2nd complaint, when it was crunch time and the inspectors were coming I did have to follow up more often to push the process along.   I was afraid it wouldn't be done in time for inspection, he had it all under control the whole time.  But I wish he would have explained that so that I wouldn't have been worrying.
Overall, I would definitely use him again and would recommend using him to others.

My hot water heater burst and Gene was able to come out that same morning and assess the situation, give me an estimate on the spot, and complete the replacement the same day at a price I thought was more than fair.  I would definitely recommend him to others, especially those looking for a plumber local to Hoboken who can provide service promptly.  He even took the time to fill out most of the paperwork for the warranty and explain what  I needed to mail in.

I've used Richard a couple of times, and he's usually very nice, thorough, and reasonably priced.  But, in January I had a job that really should have been very easy and he just didn't want to do it.  He comes to my apt, looks at the flushometer toilet and says your super should be able to do this.

The problem is, my super sucks.  I know this, which is why I am calling a pro.  The piston in the flushometer completely gives way a week later, water is just running full blast into the bowl, and I had no choice but to call the super.  He puts a new shutoff valve on the toilet, for some reason, and replaces the piston.  I pay him $260.

Problem is, he effed it up.  The action on the flusher was weirdly stiff, and a few weeks later it just stops working.  I call the super and he couldn't give less of a sh*t.  I told you, you probably need a new handle he says. Get the part for me and I'll look at it.  (He had not communicated that to me, and it turns out he was wrong anyway.)

So, I end up calling one of those overpriced retail plumbers.  He shows up, and observes that the super put an unnecessary second gasket in there, which seems to have messed it all up.  About 15 minutes later the job is done, and I'm out another $300.  So I ended up dealing with three different people and spending $560 for an easy job that required a $40 part.

Richard is a great guy for jobs that he wants.  But he really left me in the lurch here when I needed someone to just do the job right.

Their entire organization is absolutely first class.  Was left in a terrible situation with a backed up toilet and on top of that the landlord refused to honor their legal obligation to fix it.  What was I going to do???  Long story short Anthony LiBasso was the direct conduit to getting me out of this beyond stressful reality.  He sent me a straight forward estimate with full description of what was going to be delivered.  I also mentioned to Anthony that I was a senior citizen living in a non-doorman building was was very concerned about who would be coming to do the work.  Two truly professional technicians came within 24 hours and took care of replacing the toilet.  They could have charged me another $500 for the diagnosis done by another plumber who recommended by a dear friend.  I discovered that the snaking was never done.  Net:  they saved me an additional $500 as whatever blockage existed was longer was present and they installed a new toilet (was included in their estimate) and my life changed.  The main technician was Anton and his young assistant was Andrew were impeccable in presence, manner, skill and Honesty.  Additionally,  they left the area spotless (the building was constructed in 1908....the throne was not much more recent that) .  Hearing the many flushes before they left (and since) was second best to listening to a Puccini opera!!!  Thanks to Anthony, Anton and Andrew and all those who took the time to review the company and made my life great deal easier.

was without heat on the 2nd of January. they came that day. great service, very nice people, professional, the kind you want in your house.
Needed them again for a gas range, they came in the morning to disconnect and came back in the afternoon to reconnect. the only thing  I have to say is Merci.
I recommended already that company to my son.

Being a new(ish) home owner can be challenging as the process of becoming familiar with your home is slow... especially for things like plumbing. Joe took the time, not only to fix three issues in our home, but also educate me a bit more as to nuances of having a well, various means to ensure proper maintenance, in addition to clear lay and explanations of repairs being made behind the walls.

There are the type of service providers who fix the problem, send and invoice and leave asap. Aversa without question fixed the problems, but the time, care and attention he provided with us as new customers was what sets him apart.

Holy cow, what amazing service! Stan came, spent time looking at our heating problem, he was up front and gave us the run down on what is good and what we may want to do down the road. Professional, courteous,  friendly and quick! Will use In-Line and Stan every single time! Two thumbs up!

Kellem was responsive, reliable, timely and did a great job. He sent me pictures very yep of the way since I was not in town. Would definitely use again and recommend!

Had a clogged shower drain that was barely draining. Solid rust and dirt packed in there. John worked on it diligently for a few hours, and got it working again. Prompt service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I have nothing but good things to say about this plumbing company.  They are easy to reach, even after hours, respond promptly and come prepared to do the work, i.e. I've never had them say, I'll have to come back I don't have the right part with me.
Today I had to replace the faucet assembly in the kitchen sink.  They had tried to repair it (for a persistent leak in a joint) but that just wasn't possible.
The 'fun' started today when it turned out that even having purchased the exact same model the new assembly required a hole about a 16th of an inch larger than the old assembly.  Most plumbers would have suggested a new sink or I need to come back another time with a different file, etc. Not a Dinkins' plumber, he worked on the installation (normally a 15 minute job) for over an hour until he got the hole enlarged just enough, had the faucet assembly secured and all working perfectly.

I would use this company any time for any plumbing problem.

Absolutely incredible service. Easy, efficient and reliable. Very respectable people that tell you the truth, busy or not. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of their services.

I called them to get an estimate for some HVAC work at our apartment - two nice men came and took a look at our systems and promised to provide an estimate.  All fine... except that they never followed up.  I called them twice and both times someone would promise to call back.. then NOTHING.  What a waste of time.

UPDATED:  They came back online since my original review and have been super responsible and professional. Their crew is very courteous and prompt.  I am happy with their service!

We had a disappointing experience.  The plumber was very friendly, but did not totally fix our issues on first visit.  When called for a second visit, he finished the repairs and didn't think we would be charged.   A week later a bill arrived.  When we called office staff to challenge the bill... we were laughed at.   Communication should have been better at time of service, as well as over the phone.   We understand the reasons for the billing, but felt taken advantage of and not valued as customers.

The owner Marvin gauges you on price and parts . Needed a low water shut off valve and thermocouple for a Weil McLean boiler . The guy had the nerve to charge me $1000 for what took an hour . And he was rude about it - Prices of the parts at a plumbing store were $150 - the technician was nice but the owner Is arrogant and entitled . I don't mind him making a reasonable profit but what he charged was excessive . He just lost me as a customer
