I met with the gentleman and at first wasn't sure who to go with had few other companies gave me estimates one actually a little cheaper but the way the guys at A&O responded to my needs and the urgency of my situation Let me say the professionalism was impeccable very glad I chose them even though I may have paid just a little more definitely worth every penny just the comfort and convenience knowing I don't have to get it done again is why I will be calling them up for my next project in our home I highly recommend these people they left my house looking better than when they came in my hat's off to those young men

I just change my furnace in my home and the installation was fast and professionally ,, a bit expensive but it's worth it

Don't use this company!!Our original appointment is between 11:00 am-1:00pm, nobody came between this period. Then we went back to work. After 2 hours, we received a phone call from the plumber, we told him we will be back home in 10 minutes, but when we arrived, the plumber left. Our day was screwed up by this guy.

Is this the correct way to treat customer? Where is the FXXKING patience? Never use them again, waste of time...

My real estate broker recommended them - they use Ventura a lot for Port Washington and Manhasset work.  They helped us twice - once I needed a service Ventura didn't perform -  they actually took the time to discuss it with me, double check the answer and call me back with the referral, who was very reasonably priced and helped us out in time to respond to our buyer's question.  It seemed awfully nice for a job they were not going to make any money., as it took them a few calls and they were very patient and made sure they had the right answer (another plumber I had called told me the wrong thing.). Then just today, I ran into an issue before our walk through and called them up for an emergency.  They were able to fit me in on the same day, charged a very reasonable price, did the work very well (I thought they would have to cut into my house siding and they did not - it was done very neatly) and quickly. Whoever the woman is who answers calls is very pleasant to deal with and just seems very bright and helpful.  The plumber Jose also was very pleasant to deal with.

We were really disappointed by our recent service from Steve at Hlad. We needed a plumber to uninstall an old washer/dryer set and install a new stacked washer/dryer. After the uninstallation, we noticed that Steve and his assistant left a drain hose attached which we had to cut ourselves (hoping this was okay) when the delivery truck came to take the old machines away. When Steve and his assistant installed the new washer/dryer with a stacking kit, they had it so that the front of the dryer on top was not flush with the front of the washer on bottom. We told them that the set (an expensive brand, Miele) is always flush in the showrooms and online pictures/videos. The assistant told us, I've installed hundreds of stacked washer/dryers, and they never are flush. So maybe he's done this incorrectly hundreds of times? Steve and the assistant then moved the dryer a little, but still not flush. It just looked wrong. Also, over the phone, Steve had quoted us $300 - $350 to do the job, but when we went to pay, he charged $375. We called him to ask why the extra $25 and he answered, I'll change it tomorrow, like he was just going to overcharge to see if we didn't notice. Not cool. Steve also charged an extra 4% to pay by credit card but only told us at the last moment. Sadly, we feel like both Steve and his assistant were dismissive to me, a woman, when I suggested the installation was incorrect, but when my husband called to complain, Steve said right away that he'd come back the next day to make us happy. We declined, not knowing if he was going to mess up again/charge us more/say it was fine the way it was. The next day, we simply read the instructions carefully and fixed the stacking ourselves so that the washer/dryer faces are flush. (But now our brand new washing machine has twelve extra screw holes in it.) My advice: (1) get a quote in writing and (2) don't use Hlad for washer/dryer installing.

There plumber fixed my toilet fast when I decided to use this company. He also showed up fast and he did not charge me much at all. He was very nice and very professional. If you need a plumber you found the best.

Our hot water went out this past Saturday without any warning. Since it was 9pm on a Saturday we didn't have all that many options for a speedy (or cheap) repair.

One company quoted us $350 and wouldn't guarantee a fix. Seemed like a lot considering a new tank is probably the same cost. The second company told us $169 for the first hour but it would take him a few hours to arrive. Also he said he wouldn't necessarily have all the required parts since his shop was closed and it was the weekend. Disappointingly, the 3 other companies we called which advertised 24 hour service,  didn't answer or call back.

With these two lackluster options we decided to wait it out till the next morning and prayed for a hot water miracle.  When we didn't have any luck, we hit the phones again. After 3 more duds we came across Billy.

Nice guy right off the bat. He apologized for not being available (it was Super Bowl Sunday but he had tickets for a Broadway show...hilarious!) but gave me helpful advice on troubleshooting without any hesitation. Actually, what he told me was far better than the stuff I got online or from the manual, and long story short, his advice worked! We had hot water 30 mins after hanging up the phone.

Billy saved us hundreds of dollars and heaps of time, all while being a good guy. That says it all. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Fast and efficient. Understood the situation very quickly and fixed the issue with no problems. I am satisfied with the end result.

Found a pretty significant leak under my kitchen sink. I made a call to Zeek, 30 minutes later they were at my house and they fixed the issue in under an hour. From start to finish they were professional, courteous and very friendly. Really refreshing to know businesses still run this way! Will use them for any plumbing issues moving forward.

I had called Seaman plumbing on Saturday afternoon regarding work and a tune up on a Baxi wall hung furnace which is a notoriously specific machine to work on, Jimmy Seaman called be back within about an hour and spoke to me like a true professional and explained that he does not work on the Baxi units and was up front and straight forward suggested another plumber that does. There's not too many people in these trades that are straight shooters like Jimmy. Would not hesitate to call for my plumbing needs..

I am very pleased with the work done by Manneh Plumbing.  He quoted the same price he charged with NO extras added on like some other plumbers do.  Plus he explained how things get stuck in drain pipes and clog.  He was very thorough and a super nice guy.  I will use him again even if I have to wait.   I've had a lot of repairs the last year and this was the best service man I've had to my home!  He's a small businessman with exceptional service and fair prices!  I highly recommend calling him if you need a plumber.

Cox plumbing is our go to plumber. They return calls and if you call them a real person answers and actually listens to you. The plumbers  are great and do excellent work, are reasonably priced and don't leave a mess. They have done big and small jobs for us. You can't go wrong with Cox.   I'm a valley stream homeowner.

Skeptically, we called several 24/7 plumbing companies after 11pm to get help with a broken shower diverter. Waiting til the morning wasn't really an option. Only two responded at all. So much for 24/7. 24 HOURS PLUMBING responded quickly, asked for any pictures of the problem and said they could send a plumber. Yes, it was expensive - but it was after midnight when he arrived. Yes, they took my credit card number upfront, but didn't bill me until the work was finished. Yes, the problem was fixed and we could shower in the morning and get on with our day as if nothing had happened. The plumber was a nice guy, polite and able to fix the problem with the parts he had on hand. We would recommend them at any hour of the day but if you need someone at an ungodly hour, these guys are reliable.

Their driver (whomever it is that drives a Porsche with the company information detailed on the side of the car) is completely reckless. His driving was so dangerous that I took the time to look this company up. Just this past Wednesday afternoon he was weaving in and out of city traffic and creating his own lane with the vehicle. I do not know what kind of company would have such a volatile driver representing their brand, but alas I can only speak to the taking behaviors and aggressiveness of this individual. However, since he is a representative of their brand, I personally would not seek their professional (plumbing) services.
