Peter arrived promptly on Sunday with short notice and solved a perplexing behind the wall wide spread water leak right away. It appears experience does matter in this case. With tremendous patience and a big smile throughout, he searched for the unusual parts needed in various hardware stores, and moved multiple appliances to fix the broken part. There were times when he could have taken a short cut but he did not. We always appreciate a technician with a well appointed toolkit to help maximize the chances of getting the job done in one visit. The price he charged is fair for the amount of headache of this job. I would call Peter next time I have a problem again. Peter also has an edge over his peers because he appears to know a lot about carpentry and electronics. Many thanks for the good job.

My husband and I bought a fixer upper row house in downtown Jersey City about three years ago. Over the last three years, we have had a LOT of experience with plumbers, carpenters, electricians, constructions workers, brick masons... and the list goes on. And a lot of those experiences have been bad. Edmundo and his crew at Continental Plumbing & Heating, Inc. stand out as one of the few positive experiences we have had. Our water heater needed to be replaced the day before Thanksgiving, and Home Depot assigned All Day as our service provider. Having no experience in water heater issues or replacements, All Day made it super easy to provide necessary details to understand the issue at hand, and Jason arrived shortly with a new water heater to replace. He was courteous, professional, meticulous, and did not leave until we had hot water coming out of all our taps and faucets. Not only did he ensure proper installation, he also took the surrounding aspects [its a very cramped space] into consideration and ensured we understood the pipes, on/off switches, and things to look out for. Overall a great experience - much appreciated!

I requested a window AC installation service and received a prompt response within a few hours. Two professionals arrived at the agreed-upon time and took care of everything without my intervention. They removed my old AC unit, installed the new one, and even cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes, and they also took away the old AC unit, relieving me of the responsibility of disposing of it.

I agree with the above poster.  They don't seem to want the business.  I have called 3 or 4 times since Friday and when they finally got back to me with a time it one that didn't work for me - and instead of trying to figure something out while on the phone - all I got was that's they appointment time, someone will call you back.  I called another plumber and they already came today.

Fast and neat install in living room and bedroom over in July 2015. So good, in fact, that I am calling this weekend for them to do an install in a second bedroom (yes, in the winter, long story). If you want the job done right, please call here. Joe was the tech that installed our AC units, and I found him to be professional and amicable at the same time.

We had some frozen pipes and Nick and Chris came promptly and got the hot water running in this old house!
It was on one of the coldest days, so I'm sure they were extremely busy, but they got the job done quickly and gave us tips on preventing the problem in the future.

Fabio arrived on time, brought and wore shoe covers to protect my floors and installed the new faucet. The new faucet is a single lever and hot is to the front and cold to the back. Fabio offered to reverse the lines if I would prefer cold to the front. In addition, he reinstalled the existing soap dispenser which was not included in the work order and he didn't charge for the extra work. I noticed that he'd caulked it and he said that it wasn't sealed properly so he fixed it. It wasn't sealed at all because I'd done it myself. I'd definitely use this company again. My experience was flawless.

Scheduled a site visit and Harry never showed up.  Enough said.

I contacted Mike early in the morning(before 8) and got a very quick response. He was able to come by later that morning, and the repair was done before noon, for a fair price. This was a small job ( replacing the flush mechanism in the tank of a very old toilet), but I would definitely call him again!

The best!  Rates are a little on the high side but certainly worth it when you consider the quality.  The two plumbers who showed up were clean, careful, pleasant and professional which is important as you are letting them into your house.     I would not hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing needs you have.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Wanted to share the pleasant experience I had today, using Ariel Quality Plumbing.
4th of July, when no one else is working, my bath tub and toilet got badly clogged. I called and much to my surprise, Ariel Quality Plumbing were at my door 45 minutes later.
The plumber was really nice and worked hard to clear the stoppage. I was expecting to get hit with the charge because of the holiday but he told me that they charge the same all year round.
Over all, very good plumbing and customer service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Recommended by building, showed up on a Friday to give an estimate on a small job - replacing kitchen sink cutoff valves -  but now it's almost a week later and no estimate. I can't speak to their plumbing work, but the fact that they can't get us a simple estimate on time is enough for me.

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....
