Best Plumbing Services in United States
I called Peter on Thursday to ask for a quote to fix my buzzer, he never responded, so I called back the next day, at which time he said he might be able to stop by later that evening. I never heard from him, so I followed up on Monday, at which time he said he would be able to come by the next day at 9am.
On Tuesday he shows up late at 10am, told me the buzzer would be $200 + parts to fix the buzzer. He removed my lock, and then left at 11am to take another job, told me he'd be back at 2pm, showed up at 5pm.
When it was done, he told me he was gonna charge me $400 instead of the $200 we agreed on because it was more work than he anticipated.
I explained to him that I do not conduct business in this manner, and would be paying him the agreed upon price. He was upset, and very unprofessional. I will not be using or recommending his services again.
The two stars are because after many inconveniences, and him disrespectfully trying to take advantage of me, he did in fact fix the buzzer.

I actually hired Dorjan a couple months back to install a check valve on the main drain of my home and he did a great job. Got it done in one day and I have no complaints. I also recently called him for advice when I had some issues with water coming out brown and he was helpful. I'll def reach out to him again for any work that's needs to be done in my old house. Thank you!

Two gentlemen came to replace my 75 gallon hot water tank with a 50 gallon today (located in a closet on the top floor of my townhouse). Both men wore masks the entire time, which I appreciate very much. The first thing they did was drape my creme carpeted stairs with an anti-slip drop cloth. They completed the job within the estimated timeframe and cleaned up after themselves. The lady who handled the scheduling and billing, as well as all of my questions, was very responsive on the phone, via text and email, and professional. Would definitely recommend them!

Andy's Plumbing & Drain Services were incredible. They will be the only one I call for my plumbing needs in the future. Reasonably priced, professional, courteous, and most of all the work speaks for itself. If you are looking for a plumber in Brooklyn (or anywhere else they serve) I would 100% recommend hiring them. Thank you!

We recently installed had two water 50 gallon tanks installed. Thanks to Jay and his team for being courteous, efficient, responsive and professional. They walked us through the process, they were well informed and knew their business. They showed us why they were doing what they did. We did end up having an issue a couple of days later that the heat was not circulating in the house, we called and with a half hour someone was back here and showed us how to resolve the issue.... And there was no extra charge! They stood by their work and were friendly while doing so.

I requested a window AC installation service and received a prompt response within a few hours. Two professionals arrived at the agreed-upon time and took care of everything without my intervention. They removed my old AC unit, installed the new one, and even cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes, and they also took away the old AC unit, relieving me of the responsibility of disposing of it.

Did an excellent job with restoring a vintage desk and repainting it, also with hanging artwork

S&B have done a fantastic job taking care of the plumbing in my house in Weehawken for years now. From small stuff (fixing sinks) to big stuff (replacing major sections of piping in a old basement). Steve is knowledgeable, reliable and a nice guy to boot. I've got nothing by compliments for S&B. Yes, they are expensive, but you get quality work done on time.

Great service. I needed to set up the appointment over Memorial Day weekend so a window a/c could be installed the following week. Turns out, even in NY, this was no easy task. But these guys were responsive via Yelp, phone and email over the course of our interactions. Was able to get something scheduled for the next day. Joe was timely, efficient, kind and actually listened to what I was saying about the old install, the building's rules about a/c supports, etc. He was very helpful. Worth the money.

We had some frozen pipes and Nick and Chris came promptly and got the hot water running in this old house!
It was on one of the coldest days, so I'm sure they were extremely busy, but they got the job done quickly and gave us tips on preventing the problem in the future.

I am changing my review. The unit they supposedly fixed stopped working within a month. They sent another technician who didn't explain to me what was wrong and I literally had to stop him while he was ready to leave to ask him what was wrong. He then said they will get back to me with a quote and after calling three times during the week I gave up. This place is not professional they could have at least called me back. I will never ever do business with them again and will spread the word on how they treat paying customers. Avoid at all costs!

I used Harry's and his team services a year ago to renovate my studio apartment. The work consisted of a complete gut renovation of the apartment except for the kitchen. The only thing I had him do in my kitchen was gas and water pipes reallocation, which his team did according to my specifications. His team did an awesome job renovating my bathroom which included some heat and drain pipe relocation, wall and floor tile installation, shower install, vanity (mirror,et al),and toilet and sink. They installed new engineered wood flooring throughout the entire apartment and tile on my hallway entrance. I also had them install new sheetrock and sound proofing to 85% of the apartment which was a very wise decision since I have noisy neighbors. The painting and molding installation pricing was included in the new sheetrock wall installation. He also build a storage space in my hallway himself which came out really great. He also had his electrician install new outlets and wiring throughout the apartment and harry himself installed my ceiling light and fan in my living room. I also had him gut a wall so I could have exposed brick on one of my main walls. I was waiting a year to write this review because I wanted to see how the work he did held up for a year. The reason why I'm giving Harry 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had his electrician install in-wall cable tv sockets, so I would not have the ugly Time Warner cable running from my hallway to my modem exposed. When I had the cable guy over to install the modem there was no signal coming in through the sockets because the in-wall cable was not installed properly. In the end I was not able to get internet from them and I paid Harry extra for the cable in the wall work. Overall I was very happy with the work and I will definitely hire him and his team again. I have recommended his services to my family, friends, neighbors, and others. Thank you Harry!

Mr. Adonis and Samantha are earnestly awesome and greatest. Adonis on time and fixed my bathtub and sinks issues with flying colors. Extremely happy and highly recommended. Love to do business with this company again and again...

Mike was very thorough and was able to solve a plumbing issue that traced back to the laundry room. He was very persistent in fixing it however long it took. I called a previous plumber that came with 2 people and couldn't solve it. They were lazy and left after they couldn't fix it.
Mike was able to fix it by himself. He gave me a free estimate with a flat price. He said he never not solved an issue. I hold him true to that! Highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

I don't know what John D. is talking about; I suppose nobody's perfect. But I've been using Wellbrock for eight years and they always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do great work. It's really nice to have a local, reliable plumber--Doug and Co. fit the bill.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now. The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen. They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge. No recurring problems.
Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store. Guess that was a good sign.

These people were not courteous on the phone, scheduled an appointment, and then simply did not show up. Start somewhere else.

Wish that I had read all the negative reviews.
Seemed like they sent their most novice plumbers for my 1st time job!!
They don't show up for hours and don't call to tell you delayed.
Finally show up late afternoon, start working, and then tell you they get overtime after 4pm,
so they clean up and return next day (they charge a transport charge of $92 for each day!!! plus $182/hr!!)
and waste more time setting up and cleaning up! Show No Concern for
working economically or efficiently!!!
Seemed like they sent their most novice plumbers for my 1st time job!!
Both days they ask you to sign a blank receipt at the bottom and say they will fill in afterwards!!
Would you sign a blank check????
My Super, who is very sharp, says that they they unnecessarily changed too many parts and broke open more of the wall than required!
At nearly $200/hr, they spent too much time talking and taking breaks.
Imagine they send their more experienced plumbers for their retainer customers, not for new one-time user!

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking. The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean. Three trips. Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen. For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor. First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most. The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice. My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first. When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this. Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies. However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed. This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC. For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
