We recently installed had two water 50 gallon tanks installed. Thanks to Jay and his team for being courteous, efficient, responsive and professional. They walked us through the process, they were well informed and knew their business. They showed us why they were doing what they did. We did end up having an issue a couple of days later that the heat was not circulating in the house, we called and with a half hour someone was back here and showed us how to resolve the issue.... And there was no extra charge! They stood by their work and were friendly while doing so.

I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!

I called them and another plumber yesterday for a dishwasher install last minute. Needed a valve changed. One said a month, S&B stayed next day. Get a call a few minutes later that they had an opening. They got someone out here in time, didn't charge me an arm and a leg, and I appreciated working with their whole team. These guys were great. Our A/C cut out just as it heated up this summer. They came within a day or two of us speaking. The technician was unafraid of getting dirty to diagnose the problem. We recently had a renovation done, and our contractors had run the unit collecting a ton of dust and debris. So when we turned it on, the fan motor almost immediately burned out. Unfortunately, our A/C had an uncommon circuit board, so they had to order it. But, once it was available the technician that came worked almost all day cleaning out, servicing the unit and installing the new parts. We are very appreciative, and the A/C is working better than ever. Many thanks!

Fabio has been servicing our hot water heater,  and gas boiler and furnace for years now. He's always very prompt at replying and comes in ASAP to check, diagnose and give us the best options to fix the issue. Recently, we had to replace our gas boiler.  We met with Fabio and was quoted a fair price. Osvaldo and his assistant were very professional and courteous, and they did such a clean, professional installation. They also addressed all of our questions and concerns. I contacted Harry through Yelp and got a quick response and quote. He honestly gave me the best price to redo my kitchen and he did a great job. I live in a co-op so there were a lot of headaches to begin with (board approval) but he was patient and understanding for the most part. Overall my kitchen looks great!

Adonis and his partner did a great job and I would absolutely recommend there services to everyone. They are very knowledgeable and were able to fix the two issues I had with my kitchen sink and toilet. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work performed and time taken to complete the job.

They went above and beyond as my kitchen sink needed replacing and was more problematic than initially thought. They were very diligent and took their time in removing the old faucet and did a great job as everything works and looks great now.

Was very patient and methodical in finding the blockage.  Arrived on time and was very respectful.

Had them install new boiler They put circulator in wrong called 4 times to correct.Has left my basement without heat for 2months. Basement is finished and is my daughters bedroom .Do not  use

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Wanted to share the pleasant experience I had today, using Ariel Quality Plumbing.
4th of July, when no one else is working, my bath tub and toilet got badly clogged. I called and much to my surprise, Ariel Quality Plumbing were at my door 45 minutes later.
The plumber was really nice and worked hard to clear the stoppage. I was expecting to get hit with the charge because of the holiday but he told me that they charge the same all year round.
Over all, very good plumbing and customer service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I used Fred Smith Plumbing and Heating at the recommendation of the Super of my building and I'm so glad I did.  They removed an old bathroom vanity and installed a new one (and new fixtures).  The job went faster than estimated and they did a top notch job.  They even tighten a loose shower handle and kitchen faucet while they were there. Did I mention they did all of this during July 4th week?!   I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent plumbers in NYC.

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
