Joseph is a lifesaver. We were avoiding using our tub because of a small leak. Well you know when you tell teenagers not to do something and they do the complete opposite? Someone decided to take a bubble bath and a small leak turned into huge problem the day before Mother's Day. My husband tried fixing it - to no avail. Hot water was shooting like a geyser towards the ceiling. We ended up having to shut off water to the whole house.
We have a contract with Solv-it, who we called first and they solved nothing. They said they could be here Monday. With toddlers and a Mother's Day brunch planned we were in panic mode. We called many plumbers in Fairfield County. All said Monday or Tuesday. Joseph came out today- figured out the problem - went to get his parts, even found another issue and fixed it all.
Friendly, professional and we can't thank you enough! Highly recommended.
Highly recommended! I called Joe with an urgent situation and he came over in the evening and stayed until the job was finished. I felt like he cared about the work as a professional and wasn't just looking to do the job. It's rare to find people who take such pride in their work!! He not only solved the problem but eased my stress throughout the process.
They came to our home to replace some outside faucets. The work was done quickly and was satisfactory, however the bill was outrageously expensive. I would recommend looking into alternatives to find cheaper quotes.
Agreed on a price, changed the price to double the am mount, never got a receipt after asking numerous times.

I had a hidden drain pipe under my kitchen sink leaking in the wall...apparently for a while. I contacted Joe on a Saturday to ask about looking at it. He gave me the option to wait til Monday to save some money since it wasn't an emergency. He arrived on time, found the problem and offered options to get the job done. He completed the work in less than 2 hours and made recommendations to get the area dry. He also fixed the drain output from the dishwasher that had been installed incorrectly.
He was professional and very friendly...and he really knew what he was doing. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
Joe and his sister Patricia are pros. They came highly recommended through the town's FB page and they lived up to all the hype. Patricia said thank you to someone for the recommendation at around 5am and I figured I give it a shot and message her. She replied and stayed in contact instantly. Our house froze up during a power outage and Joe got it thawed and working again. He put in a lot of work and made sure the job was done right. Thank you for all the work you two did.

Aversa Plumbing is a TOP NOTCH plumbing service and Joe is fantastic guy! He promptly responds to every call, gets right out to the location and does fantastic work at VERY REASONABLE prices. We have used Aversa on four occasions and have been extremely satisfied each time.

Being a new(ish) home owner can be challenging as the process of becoming familiar with your home is slow... especially for things like plumbing. Joe took the time, not only to fix three issues in our home, but also educate me a bit more as to nuances of having a well, various means to ensure proper maintenance, in addition to clear lay and explanations of repairs being made behind the walls.
There are the type of service providers who fix the problem, send and invoice and leave asap. Aversa without question fixed the problems, but the time, care and attention he provided with us as new customers was what sets him apart.
So thankful that I found this company through Yelp! I had a toilet clog (flushed a cleaning product that I quickly realized wasn't supposed to be flushed...) and had no clue how to fix it. I set up an appointment with Joe who was able to come over almost instantly to help me out. He gave me a heads up of what he was going to do to fix the clog, and what he'd have to do if that didn't work. Luckily, Joe was able to snake out the product that was blocking the drain. Before he left, he made sure to test it multiple times with toilet paper, and made sure to give me his number to call in case it was giving me trouble the next few days and he would come back to fix it. Joe was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful! I will definitely use this service again in the future when necessary, and would be happy to recommend this company to anyone.

I contacted Aversa plumbing for a home emergency we were having with frozen pipes. He texted us regularly to check in as he had a full day of customers to deal with. We ended up having another plumbing service come out, but very pleased with his attention to our needs and offer to come out at the end of his busy day. We would certainly contact him again in the future!!!
Joe and his wife gave up a Friday night to help my family. The service was incredible and they got me out of a HUUUUUUGE nightmare. I can't thank him enough

Joe has done several jobs for us over the years: he snaked a pipe in an emergency back up, installed a new hot water heater, and replaced a faucet cartridge. He has always been very responsive, honest and fair and does good work.
I left a message after 9 pm and he got right back to me with an appointment the next morning. Kept us informed of his arrival time and did fixed our problem the same day. Joe is professional and does a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Our pump was out of date and we wanted to switch to a buried, in-well model. Joe did an amazing job every step of the way and was super responsive and attentive to all our questions. He did the hard work of even finding the well, digging it up and installing the new pump. He also came back to check that everything was working well and advised us over the phone when we had questions.
I can't say enough about Joe Aversa, Owner of AP&WPS. I needed to get my mother's bathroom toilet fixed ASAP and Joe was the only one to come that evening. He got here @ 5pm, kept his quote, and not only fixed the one toilet, he noticed that my powder room one was not functioning too well and fixed that one too.
Good personality, respected my carpeting, and did an overall great job. He restored my faith in neighborhood contractors.
He definitely rocks.

Our well pump failed one morning a few days before Thanksgiving, I made a call and Joe and his assistant were at our property by early afternoon of the same day. The job was more complicated than expected and they had to leave for some time and obtain some additional parts. They returned later that afternoon and worked into the early evening in cold pouring rain. Joe was very professional and I give him very high marks for taking the time to explain what he was doing at each step of what was a complicated job. The quality of his work is excellent! I highly recommend!!!!
Probably the best guy out there. I've used Joe for years. He is great and honest. Super service from a nice knowledgeable guy. He gets my vote 5*!

I've had nothing but good experiences over the years. Joe is professional and knowledgeable and most of all a very nice guy, so to me that's worth the price which is pretty ridiculously expensive. He's done everything from replacing our well pump to making a simple toilet fix while he was there. I would not hesitate to call Aversa plumbing, you won't be disappointed.
I don't typically leave feedback but this company was worth it to me so I'd like others to know how professional these guys were.
I called them for some emergency plumbing work as my tenants radiator was leaking pretty badly and I needed a plumber asap.
They set the right expectation up front and the plumber Mike found the problem directly and fixed it very efficiently and I was very pleased with the last minute service call at 5pm.
I would recommend using these guys again 100%.

Joe was great! We had a radiator pipe break in our home and spray water everywhere. Joe arrived quickly and knew exactly what to do. He fixed the pipe and restarted our furnace for us. He also fixed a couple of minor leaks that I hadn't even noticed. He is very pleasant to work with and I would recommend him anytime.

Not sure how you rate a plumber. Cost? Well, they weren't inexpensive. I had to
have the insides of three toilets replaced as we finally tired of each john's
idiosyncratic nature when it came to jiggling handles to get the flappers to close.
And yes, it is a simple job for almost anyone to replace the ballcock and
flapper; but due to my own physical limitations due to age and operations, not a
choice. So I paid $680 parts and labor. How about rating on professionalism? The
young man who arrived was prompt and courteous and he did give me the price
upfront. When he began he discovered a problem with one of the pipes and that
had to be replaced. And two of the other johns had some corrosion about the
bolts and that meant they had to be replaced and new washers were needed. All in
all it took almost three hours for this simple job. But I give kudos for
professionalism. Everything was explained and if I had been able to do the job
myself, I would have missed what could have turned out to be major problems down
the line. Overall, a good experience and if you need a good professional, I
would say give this company a chance. They take MC and VISA. I would have them
back. And their work is guaranteed for a year.

My water well pump was slowly declining so I made some inquiries around town and all recommended Aversa Plumbing . I called Joe and he came out right away and diagnosed the problem quickly and started the job the next day. Once Joe and his team (Mike and Armando) got started they worked until the job was done to perfection! They took their time and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Joe is a very RELIABLE and HONEST guy and his prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Aversa Plumbing for all your plumbing needs,
