I was in need of a plumber for some work I needed to get done before finishing my basement. I looked on Yelp and noticed all of his good reviews so I decided to give him a call. After playing phone tag a few times we finally touched base. At his request I sent him some pictures of my burner and boiler. He called me right back and was honest with me that the type of equipment I have I should have my oil service company do the work so if there is any issues with the work it would be their liability. I really appreciate Steve's honesty. He could have come by, done the work, collected his money and disappeared. I'm glad that's not his style. I highly recommend him.

Love them they saved us so much money all others said we needed a new water unit they fixed it! We have been using them ever since!

Okay I called late in the afternoon today (about 4pm) after calling 2 other companies that had to get back to me for an estimate on reconnecting an old out of work backyard faucet.  Mr. Dorwin  gave me a ballpark estimate on estimate ($150.00-175.00) just based upon the description of what I was looking for.  He arrives within 45 minutes of my call, crawls under my house to look at the issue and begins to work!!! Within 2 hours of work, I have running water in the back yard and the price was $175.00!!!  Response time was excellent and got service with a smile!!!  I AM HAPPY....Call him and see what magic he can work for you....

I had several plumbing issues and Mike was an absolute joy to work with. He set up an appointment, showed up on time (actually early), spent almost 4 hrs and all my issues were addressed as well as educating me on what i should be aware of for future possible issues. I cant recommend Mike enough.

JJ&K Distributors - Adam, the owner and one of his workers saved the day today!  Not only did he respond to my initial inquiry, but he continued to follow up with me until the job was done.

Called today to schedule a service call and encountered very rude man who made it very clear through his tone, questions and responses that the call was just a bother to him.  I eventually pointed this out, that he was sounding like my call was a nuisance to him and if he did not want the work I could call someone else.  He got very angry and defensive telling me that he's very busy and going to the North Shore is inconvenient for him.  I explained that I was calling because I believed we had used his service once many years ago and his the website says they serve Nassau and Queens.  He did not respond kindly and told me to go ahead and call someone else.  Lacks professional communication skills. Blatantly rude and then angry when that is pointed out.

Had an issue with my toilet and made an appointment with Justin.  On the day of, Justin kept me posted on his arrival time.  He checked out my toilet's situation and got it repaired in under 25 minutes.  Courteous, professional, no BS, and a reasonable rate, too.  Call Justin!

I called them in the late afternoon for a clog issue. Even though he had a family party that evening, he told me that he could be there afterward, around 8:30/9pm. He showed up, as promised (and texted me to keep me updated on his arrival), and fixed the problem. Clean job, professional, and nice guy.

I have had Burns do many jobs since my first review and they have been Great! 5 stars is what they deserve!

Adam is very reliable, trustworthy and his prices are reasonable.  He won't rip you off.  We had gone through a few issues and after being scammed by three so called plumbers- we ended up calling Adam. He fixed our issues during the first visit and showed us what was wrong with the boiler.  He explained everything in detail and was very keen on teaching us and keeping us informed with everything he was doing.  Gave us receipts and guarantees.  We will definitely be calling him in the future.  A big thank you to Adam and his team.

I called Zatos plumbing for the local law 152 gas inspection. They were quick to respond they did it on the same day and had it filed the following day. Highly recommend them.

Anthony and his associate did an excellent job replacing our busted water heater. Super responsive with a free quote, work was done on time, on budget and very neatly. We will be using them again and will be recommending them to friends and neighbors. Excellent job done at a competitive price.

They wouldn't give me a quote on the phone after my sink pipe exploded. They only gave it after they finished and they charged me almost a thousand dollars for 2 hours of work. I was happy with the 1st time I called them but now they are really expensive and the guy took forever to finish the job. Next time I'll call a local plumber.

I reached out to Vincent over yelp asking for HVAC service. we needed our freon refilled ASAP to get through a hot & humid week.  Even though Approved Oil does not provide the service directly, they were awesome at providing me contact info for Steven Fillecia. Steven was great at understanding the issue, set expectation on pricing and showed up at agreed time to fix our issue.  This shows how businesses like approved oil care for the customer and enable other service companies or professionals during these tough times.
