I had a plumbing emergency recently. I contacted Rich and explained the situation. He quoted me a basic price and agreed to come over ASAP.
He arrived an hour later and took care of the dirty situation. Rich and his helper were a pure pleasure to deal with.

After all was said and done, Rich kept to his original quote.

Highly Disappointing. I read great reviews online and decided to use this company to replace my old gas boiler.  Rich the owner is a typical salesman, very polite and enthusiastic.  He went through the sales pitch and he seemed ok. on December 2022, Rich came with 2 other employees around 8 A.M.  At around 2 pm, he and another technician left since he stated he had a nightmare job that was not finished the prior day that he needed to complete. He left one technician behind who didn't finish until 6:30 P.M. He had to call Rich a few times before discovering it was just a twist of a screw that needed to be done.

Other irritating issues:
As Rich left to go to the other job he asked for the check while the job was not yet completed.  He was not going to provide a receipt until I told him that I will not give him a check until I received it.  
He left the old boiler on my driveway for a week before I contacted him to inquire when he or someone else would remove it. He had an attitude and said that the guy he uses is very busy.  He finally sent one of his employees to pick it up.  
Update 1/24/23: Less than 2 months later, one of my dual heat zones stopped working.  The technician that came onsite stated that he tightened the wires leading to the zone valve and it started working again.  This is the same company that ran new wires throughout the heating system back in December. They charged me over $234 to tighten the wires that they installed. This visit should have been free of charge since it was their work originally that he tightened. He stated that if it doesn't work again that he will change the thermostat and valve.  I was informed by the technician that should the heat go out again, I will be charged for the service call to come back even though he didn't change anything and it's the same lingering problem that they didn't resolve.  This company is horrible and only cares about charging their clients excessively for the problems they created or left unresolved. I would NOT recommend this company since they don't value their clients or their workmanship.

Hoffman plumbing stands by their work! They had installed a water heater for me in 2018, and an odd malfunction caused a leak. They came in less than 24 hours and made the repair at no cost. A very profesional business--highly recommended!

We found out about Hoffman Plumbing through social media recommendations initially.  Rich and his entire team are professional, can communicate extremely well, at our house when they say they will be, fix and perform jobs like its his own house, reasonable priced!!!!!

I've only known Rich for a little 3 months but I feel like he is not only our plumber but a friend too!  Really knows how to deal with people and has so much patience to take the time and explain things to me!!!

Look no further for another plumber!!!

Rich did a great job replacing an outside faucet in a not so easy place to get to. Price was more than fair and he's a very easy going guy.

We developed a leak in the 1/2 bath in our basement. I called Rich and texted our problem and told him it was a secondary toilet and not an emergency. Even though he and his employees were tied up with a great many frozen pipe problems, he sent Paul the next morning. Paul fixed the problem and the bill was very reasonable. Definitely a good experience.

Rich and his crew were very pleasant, honest, no nonsense, punctual, knowledgeable, respectful and charge a fair price.
I had an urgent need for a water main valve replacement in a very tight spot and the guys came on time, worked quickly and went out of their way to ensure they didn't leave a mess.
I will not hesitate to call them in the future and I would definately recommend them to friends.

These guys at Hoffman Plumbing have saved me now - TWICE.  I live in a wooded area where roots get into my pipes.  The first time it happened time I called AJ Perri using their $99 pipe-clearing guarantee.  The guy from AJ Perri spent 1/2 a day here and opened the pipe to a trickle and considered that meeting the 'guarantee'.  He wanted to set up a camera appointment for which their office does a hard sell (check their reviews for lots of detail on THAT).  

Anyway, I then got a referral to Rich from a friend, and he responded right away and completely cleared the pipe after a much shorter period.  Fast forward 1 1/2 years and here I am with a major backup from the upstairs bathroom to the kitchen to the laundry room.  Rich returned my call within 3 MINUTES and sent a crew first thing in the morning.  His crew, Paul and Dan, were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.  It did take a few hours, but they got the job done and the price was fair and reasonable.  

I can't give these guys a good enough recommendation.  Tere are a lot of scammers out there and we constantly have to be on the lookout.  Rich Hoffman and his crew live by the credo of a great service for reasonable pay and as a result they deserve their excellent reputation. If you need plumbing or HVAC work, you cannot go wrong with these guys.

Great job by Rich. Easy to get in touch with and quick with responses. Would use him again when needed.

The reviewers don't lie!  A real stand up outfit.  Rich could not be any more gracious and helpful.  His primary concern is fixing your plumbing issue.  It's almost as if the business end comes second and the human aspect is first, he just wants your problem fixed and you satisfied.  It's strange, I hope to never need him again, but I can't wait to be able to utilize his expertise *if* another problem arises in the future.

Excellent service on a very short notice. Cory Woods and Matt B. were pleasant, personable, and efficient. They will absolutely be requested by name for my parents' future plumbing needs. Hoffmann Brothers is absolutely the way to.

Rich Hoffman is an outstanding professional.  He answered my calls right away, visited in a timely manner and arrived when he said he would.  If you want an honest, reliable, down to earth person who gives you a fair price, then he is your man.  And, he actually calls you to make sure everything is working properly after he is done.  One of a kind!

I called Rich on a Tuesday afternoon for a leaking pipe in my basement.  Rich and his apprentice, Reed, came out on Wednesday morning bright and early and diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour, all for a very reasonable price.  I will continue to use Hoffman plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

We had a gas furnace issue at my mothers house that needed to get resolved. I called 5 different plumbing firms to provide service. The only one to respond was Rich Hoffman. He called back within a day and also texted me. Fortunately another person was able to show us how to resolve the plumbing issue and we contacted RIch to tell him we didn't need his services. I am writing this review because when you have a plumbing emergency you need to have a reliable resource to help you. Rich Hoffman was the only one to respond to our need. We still have not heard from any other of the plumbing firms we contacted.  I only rated him 4 stars because he didn't get the chance to further impress us with his work.

I hired Hoffman Plumbing to do some plumbing work for my salon. I needed two hair washing sinks installed, a washer/dryer hookup and a new hot water heater installed.  
Rich responded quickly via phone and text.  He was easy to do business with.  When we first met he came with a worker, I forget her name (sorry), but she was great.  She was super friendly and complimentary of the new space that looked a mess at the time.  But she saw my vision and I appreciated her enthusiasm. (Sometimes opening a business can be overwhelming and I needed the encouragement)
Throughout the entire process I met a few different workers and they were all polite and friendly. And did a good job.
The price was fair and I appreciated that.
My first complaint was I wish the floor sinks (for hair washing sinks) would have been explained to me a little more.  I don't particularly love them, would of liked to hear a different option.
2nd complaint, when it was crunch time and the inspectors were coming I did have to follow up more often to push the process along.   I was afraid it wouldn't be done in time for inspection, he had it all under control the whole time.  But I wish he would have explained that so that I wouldn't have been worrying.
Overall, I would definitely use him again and would recommend using him to others.

Finding a good plumber is like finding a good barber; you have to suffer through a bunch of bad haircuts (or bad plumbing jobs) before you find one you can stick with.  Rich is a plumber you can trust in and one who will give you an honest assessment.  Going on strong reviews on yelp and google, I called to ask for help on water meter coupling replacement.  He actually first declined the work saying that it should be the water company's responsibility which I agreed with and I went back and forth with the water company.  Eventually, it turned out to be the homeowner's responsibility, so I called him back and he did the work in about an hour on a couple days' notice.  He responds directly to texts on his phone and comes on time.  Most importantly, there was no outrageous service fee to just take a look at the issue, just like it used to be.  Call these guys and don't suffer through anymore bad haircuts.

On the Sunday between Christmas and New Years our main house drain became plugged.  We unable to use any water in the house because of this.  I called Hoffman Plumbing (based on Yelp reviews) and left a message.  Rich Hoffman returned my call within the hour.  He needed to contact his co-worker to join him on the job.  Rich kept in touch with me via text, several times, to keep me informed of their arrival status.  They came mid-afternoon, assessed the problem and fixed it.  It was a difficult repair but they had it resolved within a few hours.  The price was fair.   I hIghly recommend Hoffman Plumbing as I was impressed with both his quick response and good service.

Honest and Reliable.  Had these come out to fix three toilets.  They did a great job and were very reasonable.  Will be using them for other work we need done.
