    We learned that we had a broken sewer line when a basement toilet seriously backed up.  A neighborhood plumber came and tried to rotor rooter the toilet clog. His bit got stuck  and he could not extricate it. We have a Victorian house that is over 100 years old and learned that our pipe line was clay piping. We met with several plumbers and received an array of price quotes.  We checked that all had licenses and went on several web sites for reviews.  Main Man was recommended by my seamstress who said the company did a wonderful job on her sewer line problem. My husband was impressed with Main Man's representative and told me that he seemed to really know his business.  The owner, Scott Kerity, was very pleasant to deal with and explained the permits, the contract details, and how long it would take to do the job. His price was reasonable. By this time, we were taking showers at the neighbor's and the gym.
    After signing the contract, Scott 's team came the next day, right on time and gave us back our water usage. They found the broken pipe and replaced it with the appropriate piping.  All this within 4 hours.  Their work was clean and they did not break the sidewalk ( which we had recently had put down with a special process to match the older sidewalks).  The crew answered all my questions (a lot) about their work. They came the next working day to complete the job.  I was very pleased with the results and that everything that Scott said he would do , was done in a timely and professional manner.  I want to  recommend Main Man Plumbing as an honest, qualified , and efficient company to use. By the way, they also extricated the bit and drill for our neighborhood plumber.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

Natasha, Hans, and the owner, Robert are the most professional, and respectful team I have ever encountered in this industry. They were extremely reliable and attentive. Robert clearly and patiently explained my issue and the step by step process of how to resolve the problem. Their prices are very fair for NYC. I spoke to no less than 14 other plumbing companies before I confirmed my appointment with Star Cities. I would unquestionably hire them again and recommend them to anybody who needs and wants excellent service.

Eddie has and will remain my buildings plumber of choice. Nice guy, transparent and more importantly communicative. Last job was running late due to an issue with another customers job but called to update me on his time. Things happen, and making sure he didn't leave me hanging was the most important thing. Mike from Austin Plumbing is great! called him at 8AM showed up promptly to help fix my heating pipe leak on a Sunday. Very detail oriented and made sure everything is okay. He seems very knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again for future plumbing needs. 5 stars

Another great experience using Platinum Plumbing.  Professional, courteous, on time, and extremely thorough and capable about what they do.  Had Peter come to check my furnace before I will need to use it when the seasons change, and switched out the thermostat for the furnace as well.  Peter also looked at my other areas of plumbing to assess, offering and sharing valuable information.  Just an overall, no nonsense, non-stressful, experience, where you feel you are in very good hands with an honest , experienced old school plumber who takes enormous pride in his work.

Called this company for an emergency (heat stopped working). They came in 10 mins and was very professional. Did a great job and will definitely use them again. 5/5 stars

Unrelated to their services, but just witnessed one of their trucks hit a person while backing up to drive away and just drove away.  Luckily it was minor since she was able to hit the van hard to alert the driver.  

The van was parked right next to and partially on a crosswalk, which should not have happened in the first place.  

The crosswalk was full of people so the driver should not have gone in reverse at all and waited till the street was clear.

Wish these drivers would look out their side view mirrors before going in reverse and hitting a pedestrian..it could have been worse.

Lucky I managed to get hold of Colin when some plumbing issues popped up in my place on a Friday afternoon. He came right over and identified the problem, suggested a solution and gave a guide price on fixing it up. He really explained what was required and how the original problem developed which is unusual as I think plumbers/electricians like to keep things as vague as possible - not with Colin.

In terms of the work it was completed promptly and slightly under budget (another huge plus & surprise!).

Colin is now my plumber guy and I'll be recommending him to friends / colleagues in the future

Excellent service ! The men are efficient , very professional , quick ,  thorough , polite . My plumbing issue was resolved beautifully . I've used this company prior to this problem and will continue to do so with any / all future plumbing troubles I'm sure to encounter . Hats off to James Bond & St Michael !

I recently had my Tudor home in New Jersey painted by S&A Quality Pro Services. I was impressed with the work and particularly the responsiveness of Samir, the owner. His guys came over promptly every morning and finished the job in less than a week, despite challenging weather conditions. I intend to use them for other home improvement projects in the future.

Irwin Freidman is pricey - about double the rate of my regular plumber. But for twice the price, I did get twice the professionalism, reliability, efficiency and punctuality. You absolutely get what you pay for here. Great, high-quality results and customer service.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.  They have just about any plumbing part you can imagine in stock

We reached out to have a bbq natural gas line installed. Came on time to give us a quote and was very fair. Came in cheaper than all other quotes I received. While I don't believe cheaper is always better, their team did a super clean job of installing the gas line. They cleaned up and I have not had any issues ever since the line was installed more than 6+ months ago. My go-to plumber going forward.

Think twice before using this company. Robert came to my Mom's house because she had a clogged sink. He spent 2 hours there and had to leave to go to another customer leaving the house a mess. He left with merky  water in 2 sinks and her bathtub. He told her he would return the next day to finish the job but he never showed. He charged her $600 without completing the job. I called the company as I felt my Mom was taken advantage of. I spoke with Anthony and he told me he would speak to Robert and call me back, he never did. I called again and he informed me he was not going to help!

We called cheap John's and Eric showed up on time and got the job done quickly and Profesional... We will definaly refer this company to our friends and family... We will give you 10 starts if we could.
