It started as a clogged pipe.  I am bit a plumber but know my way around a bit and wise enough to stop an get a professional.  Michael was pleasant.  Hard worker, reasonably priced. The clog went deep into the  wall pipe.  Then it occurred to me that it would be great to change the vanity new faucet etc.  Michael was very nice about the new changes and I was lucky that he had the availability.  He did a great job!  

Thanks Michael I would have never changed that horrible vanity if it weren't for you.  The bathroom looks awesome!

I needed an outlet replaced as well as recessed into a concrete wall of a 130 year old house. Ciro responded immediately, came by the next day to look at everything and give an estimate- which was less than anyone else and very reasonable. He arrived the next morning early to fix it. Was super professional, cleaned up after himself, was fast and even answered questions about other things around the house. It looked better than I imagined and I'll be using him for all kinds of things going forward.

Guys are friendly & knowledgeable and clean up after themselves which is so important. Cleared a kitchen drain and shower drain for me and gave great tips on how to keep the drains clear.

I had a very good experience with NYC. I had a list of things I needed done, and their estimate was about half what the other company I called gave.
They arrived on time and worked efficiently.
They forgot to include one of the problems in my estimate and ultimately did not do it (the most minor of the issues, and frankly one that I didn't need anyway)

Had a bad clog that no one could fix. Called several plumbers before and everyone gave me a temporary fix . I Had to call the pros. These guys are honest professionals with industrial equipment that other guys don't have . Don't waste your time calling anyone else. Thy pick up right away and never had to wait more than 2 hours. Huge sewer back up happened in my home! I called Progressive and within the hour they showed up to help! They found the problem to be a faulty check valve and the backup a result of DEP's negligence. After they helped to keep the sewage water at bay, they installed a new check valve and a pump and helped clean up the mess! Simply the best!

Discovered that I had a leak under my kitchen sink and at first I thought I might be able to fix it myself and so I tried to just tighten the pipe... well as soon as I turned it the pipe snapped off!!!

Immediately I began looking for a plumber on yelp. Mike responded right away with a quote and came out the next morning and repaired the broken pipe all for the price he had quoted me which included labor and parts. He was very responsive throughout the process calling and texting to let me know when he was on his way. I will definitely be using him again if I have any issues that I need to address.

I called them to fix a leaky shower. First, the guy asked me all sorts of pointless questions (probably to gauge how much BS he could tell me) and then refused to give me an estimate (he shouted ARE YOU SERIOUS???? when I asked for one). When I called the office to complain, they said that's the way they do business.

Saturday morning with clogged kitchen sinks. Tri-Star gave me an estimated arrival time and kept me advised. The plumber was professional and courteous. And, the final price was 1/2 of Roto-Rooter's quote.  Ken P.

I was really impressed by Ricardo and his team. My in laws had a huge flood that wrecked two floors of their home and my husband had gone through a few contractors that were not fitting the bill (am being polite of course) but these guys really did an amazing job.  Highly recommend them!

We had an emergency on January 17th, 2020.  Our heat was no longer turning on and it was approximately 20 degrees Fahrenheit outside (with the windchill).  We have a 6 month old infant, so the situation was very serious as the house dropped to 59 degrees Fahrenheit inside by 7pm.  We tried to handle the situation ourselves, but gave up and called Jay (the owner) at JV Mech.  He immediately answered the phone, gave me a reasonable  quote, and came over as promised within 2 hours after servicing two other clients.   He was very transparent and resolved our issue fairly quickly after going over every possible scenario.  I would highly recommend this company for HVAC issues because of their honesty, ability to quickly assess the situation, and extensive knowledge of HVAC systems.

Funny story. Discovered a pinhole in a line coming out of the dirt in a wall behind the tub. Asked a friend for a recommendation. After giving me the name and reading some great reviews on Yelp I called.  Was told that Bob, the owner would be there (on a Saturday) in 2 hours. Bob and his son arrived right on time, saw the problem, gave me a price and got to work.  This was not an easy fix as the leak was in a bent pipe very near the ground with very little access.  They worked on it for over 3 hours and finally fixed it. Bob couldn't have been nicer, courteous, and neater.  He also stuck to his original estimate even though the repair took much longer than he thought.

The funny part. When I went to pay him I started to write the check to the business I had looked up in Yelp and it turned out that I clicked on a link to Plumbwell Services by accident. Sometimes you just get lucky!
