We purchased a new home and had to have our mailbox lock replaced as well as program some new garage door remotes. Stoddart's provided the remotes for a fee which was fine, it was a busy week and I had no problem having them save me the time of extra work around the house or another trip to the hardware store.
During the work I asked our technician if he could change some deadbolts for me, we purchased the parts ourselves and as I was busy unpacking I had no problem again having him save me the time of doing the work for me for a fee. He told me it was going to be $10 a lock, which was fine by me.
Our technician was Josh, who was absolutely amazing. He looked over the deadbolts and when we got to a side door in the garage I joked around that there was a 1/4th inch gap between the door and the trim because the weather seal was missing.
We purchased two sets of two deadbolts per package from a local hardware store a few weeks prior. So therefore we would have to use two different keys. I showed Josh the parts we purchased, he told me that he could save me some money if he rekeys the current locks by modifying the pins, and thus every deadbolt would have the same key in the house, also, I could then return the locks I purchased. I was actually saving money by having him do the work, about 30%, as I could return the locks I purchased and I would only have 1 key on my keyring, amazing.
Josh was very helpful, he also recommended some courses of action to secure the home. He answered all my questions and was polite. I tried to hand him a tip for all the work, but he turned it down and said that he would much rather I write a review for him, outstanding guy.
Here's the best part, two days after Josh left, I went to take out the trash using that side door that he was working on. And what do you know, somehow Josh found the missing weather strip and for no charge or even saying anything to me nailed it back on, I cant say how pleased I was with Josh, he was truly an amazing person.
I Highly highly recommend this company for locksmith work.

Peter did an AMAZING job for our clients! We are real estate agents and had a client who moved out of the country and took all his keys to the home, expecting us to use the electronic keypad for access. That worked great until the battery pack died and we had zero access to the home for sale!! Peter was able to arrive quickly, gain access to the home, rekey the entire home(with smart locks) and change the battery pack in the electronic keypad - all for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Peter and his company, Surprise Locksmith, for any and all your locksmith needs!

This locksmith saved me!! I accidentally left my keys inside my home. I looked up the nearest locksmith & ended up getting Rafael. He was on time, professional, well equipped and got the job done. On top of that, his prices are super reasonable. Will definitely call him again if I ever need any locksmith service.

They did what everybody else said it was not doable. It was a car key, to be programmed and cut. The dealer asked the customary $400.00 for a key, other locksmiths said it cannot be done, Pennington said "I don't see why not". And it was done in a matter of minutes.
I highly recommend this business.

We called Acme to get our locks re-keyed. Ryan came out and went above and beyond my expectations. He took the time to lubed up all 4 door locks and found 2 of my doors had secondary locks that I was not aware of and got those working for me. Truly an expert in the way he explains things while he's working, very professional and on-time.

Have been going to Pinnacle Lock & Safe for a little over a year. They have usually been pretty good about making keys without much of a wait. Recently stopped in to get a quote on a file cabinet lock install. The owner said that his staff doesn't like to do those types of jobs and that I should just buy a new cabinet with a lock already installed. He quoted me an obscene price just to get me to leave. Until that encounter I was satisfied with their service. However, the arrogance of the owner was enough for me to look for a new locksmith. A real business owner doesn't let his employees dictate what jobs he should accept. Additionally if you really don't want to do this kind of job I suggest a better customer service approach to the situation like a referral to another company. That's how businesses grow customer loyalty, not by insulting them. Found another locksmith who was more than able to come out to my office and do the install in person for a very fair rate.

I don't ordinarily gush about a lock and safe place but i am about to gush. I went to two places to get my 20 year old worn out car (door and ignition) key copied. I had been to two places prior each saying that the key was too torqued and too worn to work with. They generously tried but created keys that didn't work (didn't open the door or start the car). They both said, "Go to Prescott lock and safe". I did. The guy there (i think the owner... at least he said he had been doing this for 19 years (or such)... was a total master. A guru. An expert. He looked at the key and worked his magic. I explained that previous folks failed and he mentioned how the wear on the key made it tough... he had to adjust be a couple thousands of an inch (not cut as much as my key suggested) in order to accommodate for the decades of wear. After several excited (as in he loves what he does) trips between his shop and the car, he touched up the keys, improved with each effort... hand filed for perfection etc. AND, he lubed the locks until he handed me two keys (for 5$ total) that were perfect! The locks and keys worked better than they had for nearly 20 years. I kept saying to myself "wow!" "Wow!" as it was a true pleasure to work with a top expert who loves his work and it really shows. I rushed home and excitedly told my wife and bored my kids with how amazed i was.
So, there you have it...in this time and culture where expertise on many topics can be denigrated and dismissed, in this internet culture where everyone's opinion somehow "matters" and everyone thinks themselves an "expert", it is a real pleasure to work with a bonafide expert... and this guy is it. There's no substitute for the real thing!
Maybe i'll take all my keys there for a pick-me-up. If your car door locks work rough, or any key/lock you have works rough... this is your guy.
disclosure: i don't know this guy, never went to the store before, never heard of the store before i went there yesterday.

I have used Mr Rekey several times to rekey apartments between tenants. They always show up on time, change the locks and the bill is fair. I would hardly recommend them.

Needed a few keys cut so I found this place in my Yelp directory. Friendly prompt service and to top it off I didn't get ripped off for the cutting of some double sided keys. $5 a Key. I spent about 10 minutes and was in and out in great time.

I needed a key fob made for my car. I called and got a quote from Ed. I also happened to call Ace to get a quote from them as well so I had 2 bids. Ed's cost was much more reasonable. I went down there and he had the new key made in around 5 minutes or so. A really nice guy and a great experience. Highly recommend.
