I lost my mailbox key and needed the locks replaced. I placed an inquiry on Yelp and Michael answered right away.  His quote was $75, which is in line with what I am used to paying.  He came within 15 mins and was done 10 mins later. key works great, better than before.

I would highly recommend VC's Lock and Key!  Victor, the owner got in touch with me quickly to provide a free quote, when requested.  Quote came in at a very competitive price!  He was able to fit me in the same day.  Communication was was great, he let me know when he was in his way and when he arrived.  I was also glad to see he was wearing a mask!  Job was done quickly!  Thanks Victor!!

Prompt courteous service in replacing a lock that had broken and locked us out of our garage! They advised us to first purchase a replacement lock and came out the next morning.

Needed to get a car key made asap and Arthur came through for us. He was very fast at responding and giving us the up front cost to make a chip key for our car. Will use them again in the future for any locksmith needs. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding!

Very responsive and knew exactly what my issue was (door latch bolt stuck and couldn't open door). Easily scheduled him the next day and was able to get the latch out and replace it. Price was very fair for how tedious and frustrating the job was (tried to do it myself for hours). Highly recommend.

I have two experiences with Jeff from A 1 Minute Key Service.  

The first was a five star experience.  He came out within 45 minutes to rekey my townhome after my short-term tenants took my keys with them.  He was done quickly and at a VERY reasonable price.

The second experience?  Oh, where do I start...

We had a lock where the key was sticking in it and we had difficulty getting it out.  We called Jeff and explained the situation.  He came out and did not change out ANY parts, just fiddled with it and got it working again.  He charged $145.95 to do that "fiddling"... and then said, if it stops working, then let him know and "I will come back out and take care of it".  That is a pretty clear statement as to him coming back out to fix it again free of charge IF his $145.95 fiddling isn't a long-term solution.

Well, a couple weeks later, as you might expect, the lock began sticking just as bad as it originally had been.  We called on Jeff again and this time his tune was very different.  He said that he would be out on a Saturday.  Well, Saturday came and went.  And Jeff?  Never saw him.  Called him again and he said that he would be out on Monday.  Did he show up on Monday?  Nope.

So... we called him... again.  This time he said it would be another $200 to fix the lock, PLUS another $85 for a new cylinder!  When we brought up our prior conversations as far as him fixing what he did the first time for free, he said, "who is this?"  After a brief explanation of who we were, he said, "I'm done with you!" and hung up!  

Yep, that actually happened.  Be careful with this locksmith...

These guys move at lightning speed! I called them after I accidentally locked myself out. Someone was at my place to help me out within 15 min and I was back in just a few minutes after that! Couldn't ask for quicker or more professional service!

Todd from Alcatraz Locksmith came quickly and not only re-keyed our door, he fixed the sticky deadbolt that had been giving us trouble for years! Great guy - came out on a Saturday within 30 minutes and opened the lock in about 5 minutes or so - dealing with poor lighting and maneuverability.  Not that I expect to lose my keys again - but if I do, this is the company I'll be calling

We locked out keys in the car and had to go and search for a locksmith and found the lock shop on Yelp. They were quick and good priced. This was our only key to our car and we realized they can make keys with the chip in it for a really good cost and were able to fix a door we were having issues with. Great company and great service. Definitely using more!

A friend's vehicle auto locked his keys inside, and he didn't have a spare. We searched Yelp for nearby locksmiths that did auto work in the Sun City area and Ace Locksmith came up. They were pleasant on the phone, told us they'd be here within twenty minutes and were here in ten! The service was performed quickly and by a pleasant young man. We received our Yelp discount, but even without the discount it was a bargain in this summer heat. I'd recommend this company to anyone in the Sun City area (and any other areas they serve).

This place is amazing I called and went right over on a Friday and they cut me 3 new keys for $9 in less than 5 minutes. No wait, good quality keys and friendly service! Worth the drive for the quality and speed! Right off the 10 freeway, would highly recommend over places like Home Depot where you cut your keys yourself and they don't always work.
