Great experience!  We just bought a house and needed all the exterior doors rekeyed.  They arrived on time.  Ethan was fabulous. We know a bit about locks, lock technology and picking.  We not only had all our doors rekeyed but had an awesome discussion about locks and picking.  Ethan showed us some of his "toys", yes, I know they're "tools" - but when you get to have fun with them they can be "toys".  Highly recommend this company.

Made an appoint and replaced my broken front door latch and repaired our safe. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this business to any one has to replace or repair door locks or safes. I will probably have him come back to install a new lock on my bedroom door.

I had a set screw in a door handle that was stripped out and I did not want to have to buy a complete KwikSet door handle. These guys were referred to me by another locksmith (it's nice to see they all work together - I like that).
Anyway, I brought my door handle in hoping for the best. It took these folks about 10 minutes to remove the stripped set screw and replace it for me for a super small minimal fee. I'm sure they had better things to do than to take the time to take care of my small issue, but they did. And for that I am very grateful. Their customer service was extraordinary. I can't say enough about this business. I put the door handle back on my residential door and it's as good as new. Thank you guys for being there.

These guy are the best!!  Jimbo always comes same day for what ever problem we have with either my safe or push-code door lock or rekeying.  He always has the answer to my problem and does it with a smile on his face.  Support your local business and they will take care of you.

I don't ordinarily gush about a lock and safe place but i am about to gush. I went to two places to get my 20 year old worn out car (door and ignition) key copied. I had been to two places prior each saying that the key was too torqued and too worn to work with. They generously tried but created keys that didn't work (didn't open the door or start the car). They both said, "Go to Prescott lock and safe". I did. The guy there (i think the owner... at least he said he had been doing this for 19 years (or such)... was a total master. A guru. An expert. He looked at the key and worked his magic. I explained that previous folks failed and he mentioned how the wear on the key made it tough... he had to adjust be a couple thousands of an inch (not cut as much as my key suggested) in order to accommodate for the decades of wear. After several excited (as in he loves what he does) trips between his shop and the car, he touched up the keys, improved with each effort... hand filed for perfection etc. AND, he lubed the locks until he handed me two keys (for 5$ total) that were perfect! The locks and keys worked better than they had for nearly 20 years. I kept saying to myself "wow!" "Wow!" as it was a true pleasure to work with a top expert who loves his work and it really shows.  I rushed home and excitedly told my wife and bored my kids with how amazed i was.  

So, there you have it...in this time and culture where expertise on many topics can be denigrated and dismissed, in this internet culture where everyone's opinion somehow "matters" and everyone thinks themselves an "expert", it is a real pleasure to work with a bonafide expert... and this guy is it. There's no substitute for the real thing!  

Maybe i'll take all my keys there for a pick-me-up. If your car door locks work rough, or any key/lock you have works rough... this is your guy.

Can't believe this shop had a key blank for our 35 year old 911 hanging up!  Fit perfectly after the owner fine tuned it! A whole $5.18 charge!

Jumbo and Chad came out today for a household re-keying job I needed done.  They were both very pleasant and professional, and the work performed was exceptional.  I highly recommend their services!

Very Disappointed. I know I'm 22 and my girlfriend is 20, but why does this mean we cannot be helped with copying our keys. Yes, I know they aren't "standard" keys, but I was told by the representative that she wouldn't feel comfortable copying it. I wish I was given a reason for this rather than her being implicit. I felt like I wasn't welcome and that she was implying My girlfriend and I were up to no good. Thanks anyway, I'll try someplace else.

I went there to get a key made for a desk. they said ok, we will call you.
They NEVER Called me. This is the third time i went to them to make a key and they said they would call me, Again , they never called me when it was  ready. One time they lost my master key. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE

The staff at Prescott Lock & Safe are incredible, courteous, and super efficient!  I called them this morning after being locked out of the house and they answered right away and had someone scheduled to go out there to help us out! They even called when they were on their way! Thank you guys for the great service and for taking care of us! We appreciate your help and friendly service!  We would definitely recommend these guys to anyone in the future!

This place is great. Brought my automotive door locks to them to have them re-keyed for my classic truck and they turn it around for me in 24 hours. Another local lock shop around the corner had the locks for four weeks without doing anything so I really appreciate this place. I will be going to Prescott lock and safe from here on out!

These folks made two keys for me:  one for a wooden surveyor's transit box dating back to the late 19th or early 20th Century, and another more mundane one for a Craftsman toolbox.  They only took a couple of days, despite being pretty busy after being closed for a week after the owner passed.  The price was quite reasonable and the service was friendly, competent, and timely.

These guys are GREAT! From Marty in the front to the key wizard Jimbo and his new side kick Doug. So helpful, kind and great prices. Made me a new key for my 26 yr old truck, had to take the door apart to do it! With an hour labor and a new key only charged me $30, what a deal!!!! Wonderful people with integrity to match. I made the call about 8:30 a.m. and had a service-person at my house by about 9.  Even better - he called when he was ready to get on his way to make sure the timing was right for me.  Hopefully I won't  lock myself out of someplace again, but if I do, I'll be sure to use these friendly folks again.
