Best Electricians in Phoenix, AZ

I happened to need some assistance hanging new light fixtures in my living room. The challenge was my vaulted ceilings. When choosing someone on Yelp I always look at the reviews. I chose Apollo as it had 5 stars with a number of positive reviews. The other thing that stood out was the long family business history over the span of a number of years.

I was not disappointed as Matt was responsive and communicated any updates. He and his team arrived on-time and were knowledgeable, professional and displayed good customer service. In this day and age you don't always get the service that you expect but Apollo Electric does not disappoint.

Paul and Mario did an excellent job installing recessed can lighting in our townhome. Was very pleased with how Paul promptly communicated by phone and text to schedule us in when we contracted him to do the installation.

Paul gave us his excellent professional advice on how many lights we needed along with the recommended light sizes for each room. He also advised on proper placement of lights to avoid shadowing. Since I'm no lighting expert, his advice was a spot on and the finished installation looks great! We are no longer in the dark!

Just FYI, with ceiling areas that don't have attic access, Paul will have to cut access holes to run/pull romex wire between the beams/rafters. This is common practice. This makes up for a lot of holes in your ceiling that will need to be patched and painted by a drywall pro. Paul informed me that he sub contracts another person to patch and paint.

Overall we are very pleased with Paul's work and would definitely use him without any hesitation for any of our electrical needs. His pricing is fair and competitive for a licensed electrical contractor.

Let there be light! We live in a ground floor condo with the only direct natural light in the bedrooms...cool in the summer, but a bit like a cave most of the time. When we decided to add the recessed lights, I liked the flat rate that this company charges--no surprises, right? Well, I didn't need to worry. Troy, the owner, is so upfront about pricing that we ended up doing more than originally planned. He is always clear about the pricing. He communicates early and often. He shows up on time. He never leaves a mess. He is thorough and straightforward. The new lighting is great. We added more than originally planned. We enjoy our home so much more, now that we have more usable (well-lit) space. I didn't realize how I would always end up in one spot so I could see better! Now, I can go anywhere--and did I mention, the closet is fabulous!

Honest, hard working, great work ethic!!! Above all, friendly and helpful in making sure that you're on the right path! I would highly suggest that you consider this fella / company!!!

We've used C. Read & Son twice now, and both times it was an effortless and pleasant experience. They're easy to book with, the communication and reminder calls are efficient but not intrusive, and Clarence is friendly, knowledgeable, and has easily fixed whatever I needed fixed, very quickly and for a reasonable fee. A terrific company to work with on every level.

They showed up on time and made an effort to get the product I need. Would recommend for ceilings and switch change out. Four/Five star is not earned because they don't do thermostats and also problem with tv mount .

The mount had to redone , causing me to repair and paint my new wall. Though it is installed correctly now and my drywall is repaired. The drywall was repaired at my own cost and It could have been avoided. Please don't use for tv mounting .

The only way to have made this right me
If they provided compensation/services for my drywall repair. Or they hire a professional to come out and correct the issue. If I was the business owner I would have looked at the photos and hired a professional drywall repair team to come to the customers house.

No repair my drywall was offered to me. Willing to upgrade review if provided free services to make up for my out-of-pocket cost. Also know that I had to take days off which also cost me financially .

I cannot in good faith offer a 4 or 5 star.

Romel did a great job at my house, I needed a few fans, outlets and plug points replaced. He was prompt in his communication and timely in getting the work done. Once he started the job, he didn't nickle and dime us when we asked him for some small changes. I would recommend Romel to everyone.

I have called RSB twice and Reno has been super helpful and responsive each time.  The first time he told me what I could do on my own to try and fix the problem before he came out to save us both time and money and it worked!  The second time I called, he was extremely busy but made it out the next day, fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.  Added on a couple other things I needed done, charged a very reasonable price and was out the door.  He's friendly, quick, great at explaining issues in simple language I can understand and reliable.  I will be calling him any time I need something and have already referred him to others.

Selberg Electric was FANTASTIC!! I never post reviews, but this was worth it to inform other people about the exceptional experience I had with this company.   I had asked everyone I know for an electrician recommendation and no one could recommend one, but they gave me plenty of feedback as to who not to use. So I turned to researching Yelp myself. I found Selberg Electric and read  a lot of really good reviews about them. I gave them a try and was pleasantly surprised by the great communication, knowledge, experience, and fair pricing. Most importantly he figured out the issues quickly and repaired the wiring and breakers same day with a smile. I would highly recommend Selberg Electric you will not be disappointed.

Yesterday I discovered my GFCI outlet in my garage had tripped. It is the outlet that I use for my refrigerator and deep freezer. The predicted temperature for yesterday was 100+.

I put on my best electrician's hat, went to Ace, picked out the closest GFCI outlet to match the one that has stopped working and then spent the next 20 minutes replacing it. When I turned the power back on, green light appeared on the outlet... but nothing I plugged in would receive power...I had just exhausted my electrician skills.

I called (I wish I would have caught the guy's name), but a gentlemen answered, listened to my story, and then said I know exactly what's wrong... He then spent the next 5 minutes of his time, explaining how I could fix the issue. He finished by saying, if that doesn't work, call me back and I'll come take a look. THIS IS HOW GREAT BUSINESSES OPERATE! He didn't take advantage. He helped! Fantastic! Thank you!! If I ever have any electrician needs... I'm calling these guys!!

Recently had some work done at our home. They were outstanding! Could not imagine any other company doing the electric work we needed done. I will absolutely be giving them a call for any electrical needs. Thank you for your professionalism and getting our job done.

My dad's home was without AC because of several electrical problems   I called superior electric and they came out and got the job done at a reasonable price   would recommend them to anyone.  TY Larry.

I needed drywall and paint in my garage where the old water heater leaked.  Ty at Shelton Home Repairs gave an estimate quickly and coordinated with the other contractor involved.  He completed the job in a professional manner for a fair price.  I would highly recommend him

Thom  is a gem!  They don't make them like him anymore!  I was also lucky in calling Thom to put in an appliance electrical outlet.  He was prompt, well priced, and above all he was honest and just a great person!  I have had him back for a separate electrical issue and he was true to form, and also made another great recommendation for an HVAC guy!  

I would recommend Thom 100% to anyone looking to find an electrician who is knowledgeable, punctual, and above all trustworthy!!!  Thom is the BEST!!!  :)

Highly recommended electrical contractors. Jon came out and gave us a bid to install an EV Charging station in our garage. The pricing was more than fair and the quality of work was flawless.
