All I have to say is..DEDICATION!! Prior to hiring Superior Electric.. I went with another company.. after 14 hours all they left me was with a hole in the ceiling and messed up lights, along with taking my money.

Not only did Superior Electric fix the problem they did it a quality job! I was already upset at the last company and nervous I would be taken advantage of. Nope as soon as Superior came in he reassured me he would get the job done, and explained every step of the way how they fixed it..

They didn't take one penny from me until the job was done!

I have nothing but high respect for this company.

They installed recessed lighting and dimmer switches

Left my house an absolute mess. Uses the hole saw to cut holes in the ceiling and doesn't put down any tarps whatsoever. When he spackled the drywall, a ton of the mud was left on the floors so it has been a full time job trying to scrape it all off, and it still isn't done. A light in the bedroom doesn't work, another ceiling fan light doesn't work, a light he was supposed to put in the closet never got installed. Once I paid him in full prior to the job being done he stopped being as responsive and I currently don't even know what's going on with the rest of this. I'll have to hire another electrician to come out and finish the job.

Super nice guy and down to earth. Have nothing bad to say about him as a person but very disappointed in the end result of this

I must say that I was very fortunate to have been able to hire Larry. Not only was he super responsive. He came over the next morning and provided a bid. Which was actually a fair price compared to other estimates I got. He completed a laundry list of items for me. With recessed lighting in 3 major rooms. Required several new light switch re-wiring as well as exterior outlets and many other things. He was very precise and did an excellent job! Anything I didn't like (which wasn't much) he was quick to fix and correct to make sure I was happy overall. Check out the photos.

I'm a perfectionist and quite honestly very happy with the level of work he did and how it looks. Super happy.

UPDATE: Larry's work fried the wires in the new AC unit - we know this because it the maintenance company came out yesterday and looked at everything. Called them again after he left and they just ripped this out. It was fine yesterday.

Had a bad experience with Larry.

Showed up 40 mins late

Replaced breaker

Our power was completely out when he said he fixed the problem and asked for payment. He was trying to leave as quickly as possible.

New breaker didn't fix problem (things happen, we know not every problem can be fixed right away) but Larry avoided answering what the problem was and how we could fix it.

Claimed parts were $60, only showed receipts for $29.85

Screamed at my grandmother and I when we challenged the fairness of the situation

Frantically removed all the new parts and drove away when we mentioned someone was coming out to take a second look.

Overall, it was clear he was trying to make a quick buck and leave before we realized he had actually made the problem worse.

Larry and his daughter Nicole helped us resolve a circuit breaker fiasco. They were kind enough to come out to our home on both a Saturday and Sunday to do some comprehensive work with rewiring ceiling fans and modifications of circuit breaker's. Without there help we would have spent days in an electricity void home.
Larry was professional and flexible in helping us out in a pinch when other electric contractors were to busy to help us out.
I highly recommend Larry and Nicole. Good people with strong work ethics.

Called Superior needing 5 ceiling fans installed and to properly wire outside garage driveway lights on an app switch currently on a 3 way switch. Larry and his very charming and beautiful daughter Nicole showed up and got em all wired up, installed properly, and working and looking wonderful! 2 of the ceiling fans have energy efficient DC motors and somewhat non-standard wiring they are 72 which are fairly large man do they work great both rooms these bad boys are in have very nice circulation now and all the new fans look totally gnarly 2 thumbs waaaay up for Superior Larry and Nicole are a good team cleaned up after themselves and are very nice to work with I'll be getting them back here for more work in the future I have more gnarly items on tap that'll require electric help! Great job!!

I had an electrical issue with my dryer. Bring a new home owner I did not know where to turn to. Thankfully I found Frank and his Daughter of Superior Electric he went above and beyond to fix my electrical issue with my dead power line to my dryer. He was on time friendly and straight shooter of what my issue was and how he was going to fix it! Him and his daughter promptly fixed the issue was great work for a great price . If you like supporting small businesses and believe that hard and decent work is worth it, hire Frank!

Larry is trying to run his business off the back of the actual Superior Electric out of Tempe. He absolutely messed up my entire house. I would not recommend to anyone. Him and his daughter completely screwed up my entire house. Do not hire.

We needed a 240v plug for our electric vehicle, so we could get a faster (level 2) charge. Larry was not only quick to reply and provide an affordable and detailed estimate, but he was also able to schedule us for service quickly. Larry explained that the quote would only change if the plug was needed far away from the breaker box. He also provided a window of time for when we could expect him (only a one hour window instead of the four hour window that most companies give), and he sent a message when he was on his way. Larry completed the work excellently, and was friendly too. So glad we went with Superior Electric- we will definitely give them a call next time we need electrical work done!

We just moved into a new house and serious electrical issues including non-working outlets, ceiling fans from hell and mystery light switches. Larry and Nikki responded immediately to my request and came to our house an hour later. It was a Saturday. They worked all weekend surrounded by a houseful of kids and cats and they could not have been more gracious. They worked so hard for (3 flights of stairs...sorry Larry!) and EVERYTHING in our house is working. We are so happy and relieved. We will 100% recommend this company to everyone we know! I needed some additional 110 and 220 outlets in the garage, Larry and his daughter Nikki came out promptly within a few hours of asking for a quote to deliver an estimate. We came to an agreement of what work had to be done and they came out on New Year's Eve to do the job during the day for a good value compared to other companies quotes. I am amazed how Larry and Nicole installed my ceiling fixture on my bedroom hall entrance. I was hesitant or skeptic in the beginning to allow them to do the project. They went above my expectations and reasonable time. I finally called them for installing my ceiling light fixture. They are easily to work with schedule and they are flexible. The project is reasonable amount and it works for both of us. I like how knowledgeable Larry knows about electric work. He has a lot of experience on projects. I've even watch the YouTube on how it works. He did the project done very well. They came in to my place even when it's raining and they said said even rain or shine they'll do the work. I like how they communicate how the project on how it works . I'm so happy for the work they did on my ceiling light fixture on my bedroom. I will call them again to install my chandelier in my staircase. I would definitely recommend them for any project that needs to be done. It's worth it.

Do not use this company for your electrical services. Larry was a no show to
install under cabinet lighting and requested another shot to get the work done.
He said his word and work means everything to him. So, I gave him another chance
and he was a no show for the second time. I guess his reputation does not mean
that much to him after all.

Larry was phenomenal to work with; I highly recommend him. We lost power to all upstairs rooms the night of Christmas Eve. He responded within a couple of hours and then called me Christmas Day saying he could be here in 30-minutes if I wanted. He was respectful about it being a holiday.

The job didn't take too long and everything looked and worked great when he left. If any other issues arrive in the future, we'll be going with SES.

No show twice and something is fishy
Do not be fooled. I tried 3x and flakes
It is hard to review a biz that is a no show more than once. I called and daughter answered phone. She confirmed she only rides along with Dad. She is not his apprentice. He just wants her in truck. All for show. Don't waste your time. They wasted three days of mine already.

The fact guy does not even know I was the potential customer and it is almost a month later for him to respond says it all.

Larry came over to my house at 8pm on a Saturday night and fixed an issue where a portion of the electricity went out affecting the refrigerator. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and recommended panel maintenance instead of a new panel, saving me thousands. He completed the work within a couple days explaining his process and everything works great. His prices were reasonable and he was very responsive. I found a new electrician!

Larry is the best!!! He's hilarious,prompt,clean and I'm soo impressed because I couldn't find anybody who could get the job done!! I was shocked with how fast and reliable Larry is I can't find a better man to do my panels and my wiring Larry doors all his own drywall repair and his finish work was superior. He wore his Mask the whole job, and he explained every detail before and after Why that things were did the way they were done. He says hes 60 years old but he works like he's half his age. His 40 years experience showed up at my house when he did, and I'm so glad that I found Larry to be my new electrician. My wife and I are convinced that our home is a lot more safer now that Larry came and solved all our electrical problems...Larry is a great guy and I also found a new friend.

Larry was a very friendly and knowledgeable electrician. Unfortunately my older home through him for a loop. We hired him to do several jobs at my house, with varying difficulty. Installing extra outlets went smoothly, but the work that required him to enter the attic was very rough. He first told me all the work would take a half a day's work. He ended up coming back for three long, uncomfortable days. We had to do a lot of cleaning up after him each day which was exhausting. This included sweeping up insulation that was tracked all over the house from the attic, snips of wire and screws left on the floor, dirty hand prints on the walls and doors, putty/spackle dripped on the floors, and scuffs on the ceiling from his ladder. After three days of him saying just another hour or so we ended up cutting him loose from the contract with the last bathroom undone. We have another company coming in to finish the job. Larry's prices were low, he seemed to have good reviews on Yelp so we gave him a try - but I think he just bit off more than he could chew on this one.

Larry was awesome!!! He was extremely responsive and did an excellent job. I had him replace two wall sconces, install and center a light over my dining room table and replace a light fixture on a 20 ft ceiling. He was professional and quick and was willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. I would definitely recommend Larry and will be using him for any future electrical needs.
