Wow, been looking at Solar for quite some time. Went through some of the larger corporate companies and never felt comfortable. Anyways, decided to go local with a family business and it paid off. Got to know Mr. Black and his son quite well because that is who they are...a down home AZ family with similar values. Not to mention some of the guys on the crew, Daniel, Bryan etc. All guys that have the same values as their bosses/owners. It is a nerve wracking decision, no high pressure sales but more of a conversation from Black Platinum. If you are expecting them to hound you, that will not happen. I own an old house with a checkered and questionable past. Many companies avoid the challenges of old houses and bad wiring. Rabago Electric is the exception! I knew my job would be difficult so I decided to ask the professionals who they would hire for their own houses. One name came up: Jaime Rabago!  At my house, he fixed a multitude of problems and brought me back up to code. The service was quick and professional. With his creativity and knowledge, he faced my unique electrical challenges. Mr. Rabago was able to rewire and redistribute power on an overloaded circuit. He found and eliminated a broken powerline underground. He removed a unnecessary fuse box which was misplaced along the line. He knows his stuff!  Mr. Rabago charged a fair price and did more than he promised. Do not hesitate: you will be happy with this company!

I called this guy to get a price on trading out a transmitter in a camper and putting in a new panel for the garage. He hung up as soon as I asked if he works on campers. Rude!

I've always known exercise isn't all it's cracked up to be! When my treadmill stopped (while I was on it) I took that as a sign to have coffee instead. When the guilt kicked in and I got back on, I heard a pop, the machine shut off and the fan above me was shooting sparks. I called Jenco because the owner lives in the neighborhood and Nextdoor residents had positive comments. Wes arrived on time, fixed the issue, noticed an additional wiring problem and corrected it,  then cleaned up after himself. Prices were reasonable and I now feel safe that i don't have to worry about a potential fire.. I haven't decided if I will go back on the treadmill yet or continue using it as a clothing depository.

I used SMK Electric two more times since my last review. I called Simon to install some light fixtures and fix the wiring to fixtures in the kitchen a few months back at a second condo I own and his work was great as usual! The condo is over 25 years old so some of the wiring is a somewhat outdated so I felt more comfortable updating things with a licensed electrician. Just called Simon again January 2012 to do more work at the 25+ year old condo on the old wiring. He replaced electrical outlets, light switches, an outdoor light and installed an electrical outlet outside. It's great bringing an older property more up-to-date knowing the work is done right with a licensed electrician rather than trying to do it yourself. The work is done efficiently, quickly, by a professional at a reasonable rate. After using Simon from SMK Electric three times, I highly recommend using him for all your electrical needs!

We had a couple damaged baseboards that needed to be repaired in a timely manner due to selling our home. Andrew responded immediately and was able to get the job done as soon as the next day. Andrew did a great job, was professional, and cleaned up after the job. I highly recommend Nichols Handyman Bros!

These guys are great ... a storm damaged our meter mast, and APS wouldn't fix it.  The first 5 electricians never even returned my call ... the 6th said they were booked 4 weeks out ... but Shield's got someone (Wayne) there the same day, who even climbed over a fallen tree to do the work ... highly recommend!

Our new stove lost power and when we had the service guy from the store come out he said it was not the stove but the electrical in the house. He referred us to Apache Dee's. Turned out that our house had many serious electrical issues and they showed us where the box was just about burned through. We were not far from having a fire. They fixed numerous issues and coordinated the permits and plans needed to go to SRP. Everyone was very helpful and courteous and the bill was very reasonable for all the work that had to be completed.

Our GFI shorted out in the garage leaving the garage door and a number of other outlets inoperative. I called Kent at 8pm due to their 24 hour schedule. Kent answered and came over promptly and fixed the issue. Very friendly and very professional! Highly recommend.

Tom is always reacting fast and comes up with very professional and reasonable solutions. The pricing is fair and the delivered quality is high!

I recently needed an electrician to swap out 3 or 4 dimmer switches in my home. To my surprise, they provided a quote of $1,000 for the labor alone, while three other licensed electricians estimated the job at a range of $250 to $300.

I'm uncertain if this company is legitimate or if someone is posing as a business. I had noticed that there were no reviews on Yelp until I brought it up to them. Strangely enough, a generic review appeared on the same day.

Called Mike after seeing multiple positive reviews in Nextdoor. Was not disappointed.

I needed a light fan combo replaced in my front room. He was able to fit me in the same day I called as he was in the area already..   very happy with the job he completed.   He explained what was happening as he was doing it and also identified a possible problem that a non-electrician might not have been able to identify.   Problem was corrected, and cost was as originally quoted.  

Would absolutely recommend!
