Called performance pro plumbing in November to put in a new shower valve and showerhead and spout.  They were near my home.  They were all booked for December but this was great because the demo and tiling could not be done till January.  Arrived early and finished quickly to put in the valve.  Came back to install the shower head and spout after the tiling.  There price was fair.  I would hire them again if I was in need of other plumbing issues

Advantage Plumbing's 5 stars on yelp is the reason I called them in the first place.  I called last night regarding some plumbing issues I have on my first home. I told the very kind gentleman on the phone that I work M-F so it would have to either be after hours or Saturday. He scheduled me at 5:30 the following day. Josh came to look through my issues, gave me a diagnosis and solution options. Aside from the repairs you get with any other company, Josh asked if I knew basic things about my home. When I told him no, he took the time to show me the main water switch, the hot water switch, and the gas shut off. This was after he fixed my issue so it wasn't even a sales technique. I have never felt more comfortable with a company than I do this one. When I had complimented his company, Josh raved about how it is a great place to work and how much he enjoys his employer. This made me love the company even more!

Martin came out to look a a couple of problem faucets and to give an estimate on installing a whole home water filtration system. He very nicely explained why my faucets are not only not broken but working properly and he took the time to explain why. He then gave great advice on a whole home water filtration system, being for my hone the types they install don't make sense. He referred me to an alternate vendor explaining why it would be better for my particular homem All of this was free of charge! I will gladly have Drain and Plumbing Services back again for my future plumbing needs.

Paul was great. I had an issue with a toilet that I tried to repair and that was broken. Paul installed a new one at a good price and quickly. He is very honest and work well and fast. I will call him for any plumbing issue.

Highly recommended. Got an appointment right away and he was very professional and courteous. Arrived on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. Supplied me with tips on how to avoid this problem in the future. Will definitely work with MD again.

Showed up on time and corrected a minor problem (of my own making) with an unfilled P-trap and did not charge anything for the visit. Will use them for sure again.

Oh what fun it is to wake up sick on your day off and discover your sewer line is backed up.  Fabulous!  My husband frantically started calling plumbers in the area and worried where we would take the children to use a washroom when the call for nature arose.  Yet, I immediately turned to the best resource out there.  Yelp.  

The Sewer Guy is located in Lyons, which is in close proximity to us here in Brookfield.  I gave Greg a call and he was very personable and professional.  You can tell a lot about a person from a phone call.  It got even better when he said he would be here in 15 minutes.  What???  Yes, please.

Greg did a great job rodding out our sewer and was very affordable.  The whole process took under an hour and it was nice chatting with Greg for the duration.  We will definitely call The Sewer Guy again if we are in need of any of his services.  Recommend!

After getting a quote for faucet repair from another company (which advertises on tv) I called forte for a competitive quote. Forte was one third the price and did not require me to join a club. The staff were pleasant and worked quickly. I will call them first if I need more work done.

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Had a good experience with Rescue Plumbing. They answered when I called, were able to come out the next morning.
They were scheduled to come between 10-12 and I received a VM and text around 9:30 from Victor letting me know they were on their way.
Victor and Omar were punctual, wore masks and gave me a cost estimate prior to starting work. They worked quickly and fixed the issue with a good explanation of what they did.
It wasn't cheap but I really don't know market rate for plumbing.
Overall they did a great job and I would use them again!

One of the first people to respond to me when we realized our basement was beginning to flood... despite having a system that worked, we felt that replacing the 20 year old system full of little issues would be the smart thing to do.

Pete was very responsive to my late-night online inquiry about my plumbing problem and since I had the water off in the house he actually responded by email in the middle of the night AND called me first thing in the morning to follow up.  We shared some photos and he was at my house by 9 and done before within the hour.  I would not hesitate to call Burr Oak again.
Pete also had a discussion about antiques with my wife which made them both excited. : )

A new washing machine supply valve was replaced behind the wall.

My kitchen faucet started leaking and we have a plumber friend who had his hands full and couldn't come out that day.   So, I went on Yelp and noticed ROM's ratings were very high. Also noticed that they had put in several faucets in the past. Spoke with Mike who is a really nice guy and very professional. I knew I needed the faucet replaced, so I ran out to purchase a new one and he actually sent someone out THE SAME DAY with no extra charge! Very accommodating.

His worker John, came out and installed the faucet in under an hour. Also a nice young man who was very thorough. Job well done!

I would definitely call them again.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

Stellar organization.  They are efficient, courteous, and reasonably priced.  

The crew and owner typify what it means to work with and within the community.  They are attentive to needs and respectful of client anxiety.

I needed someone to help with repairs on a condo I have and Welter was quick to respond and get someone out to resolve the problem.  I definitely will reach back out to them if I need repairs in the future.

Thanks Alan for your quick assessment of our plumbing issue.  And then staying a bit longer to fix an additional issue.  Your expertise and service had me smiling the rest of the day!

George is extremely knowledgeable and is the reason Harlem Supply exists. George was never let go, he owned the business, sold it and stayed on to help teach the new owner the business.  It is very hard to help people, when they can't clearly tell you what is wrong.  It is because George's help is still needed that he came back.  The business was set up to serve plumbers primarily, but they are always willing to try and help non-plumbers.  I would give them 5 stars, but they just can't always have everything you need in stock, nor can they have all the personnel needed to immediately wait on every customers - no one can.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
