Fantastic people and work. Had a drain installed into my basement floor. Responded quick, quick appraisal, quick appointment, worked quick, very friendly, great pricing. Felt like a person and not just a dollar sign.

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

These guys are great!  They did some work on our toilets 18 months ago.  Due to our hard water, the toilets started acting up again.  I called.  They came out the next day and fixed everything for free!
The original work had a 12 month warranty and the new issue clearly wasn't their fault.  Talk about excellent customer service!

called dps because we had a clog and could not use our kitchen sink.They arrived on 4/8/2019 and kept looking around,i said what are you looking for,they said the crawl space,i told them we don't have a crawl space we are on a slab,he kept looking there has to be a crawl space,by than I was ready to tell him to get the hell out.and than all of a sudden he said there is no crawl space.I won't go into detail but told him what I thought of him,about not believing me that there wasn't any.well they finally got it fixed and unclogged,but he mentioned about 4 to 5 times I don't know if we can fix it,I thought what the hell is that about.The final price was 360.00 to do the rodding,which I thought was kind of high,he also had to go to a hardware store because they mangled  one of the pipes and had to put a new one in.I am hesitant to tell people to go to your company,because of the uncertainty of the plumber and his remarks.but the price was high for what he did.

I woke up this morning to water running out of the cupboard under my sink onto the floor. I opened the cupboards to find a leak. I called Paul and through our conversation and a few photos, we were able to figure out we needed a new faucet. He said he could come by tomorrow but ended up calling a couple hours later cause he happened to be in the neighborhood. Not only did he come by with a replacement faucet that works and looks great, but he also found a leaky shutoff valve that he was able to replace on the spot. He also tightened the lines and some pipes that were loose. He saved us so much time and stress today, and we couldn't be more thankful! He was super nice too. I would definitely recommend Paul the plumber!

I needed to have a hot water heater put in.  My went out on Monday.  I called them and they told me they could put one in for me on Wednesday which was really not too bad.   Their price was excellent and the quality of their work is great.  They also were neat and cleaned up when they were done.   I definitely would recommend them  to anyone looking for a plumber and use them all the time now.

My ejector pump failed.  Got lucky that I was cleaning out the basement and noticed the ejector well starting to overflow. The prongs on the plug were burnt black!  

Called Courtesy plumbing, on a Saturday at 4:45 pm and they had someone out by 6.  Replaced the pump within an hour and had me back up.  

During these scary times, these are the unsung heroes and I very much appreciate their work!  

I am very satisfied and will keep them in mind for any future work.

Everything everyone else said is true!  Mom's sewer was chock full of roots, causing a terrible backup in her bathroom.  He arrived within a half hour and had the problem resolved quickly for a more than fair price.  Why is it the people you don't want to have to deal with are always the kind of people you want to deal with all the time?!?  Thanks, Greg!

I had to reach out to Forte because they were on a list of authorized servicers for my hot water heater warranty.   Other plumbers refused the job outright because of the brand, and my original installer even suggested (repeatedly) that the warranty would not be valid. The first authorized place I called answered with voicemail and never did call me back.

Forte Plumbing actually had a real live person to answer the phone, a very nice lady who took my information and arranged for someone to contact me as soon as they were available.  

Even though it was apparent he could not fit the job in on a busy Friday, Robert Forte made several calls on my behalf to determine how I could get a replacement for my hot water heater.  He spoke with the supply company and was able to give me specific instructions on how I could get the unit on my own in the meantime.

Mr. Forte wasn't actually able to do the work, and he realized this from the start.  He could have just said, Sorry, call me Monday.  But what he DID do was enable me to have another plumber handle the job because I was able to satisfy the warranty issue.  I WILL contact Forte Plumbing when I next have a need.  And I WILL recommend them to anyone that asks.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

We had a garbage disposal that went out and a Bidet that needed to be installed. The person on the phone was very nice and it was easy to schedule and appointment.  They scheduled a free estimate, arrived on time, and were very professional.  Logan and his partner Dennis inspected the items I had called and provided what I thought was a quick and fair estimate.  I decided to have them do the work and they started immediately.  They wrapped up the jobs quickly, professionally, and with no mess.  Overall it was a very easy experience thanks to Logan's clear and professional explanation and execution of the work required.

Dominik was amazing.  He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day.  He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency.  He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

Pete was very responsive to my late-night online inquiry about my plumbing problem and since I had the water off in the house he actually responded by email in the middle of the night AND called me first thing in the morning to follow up.  We shared some photos and he was at my house by 9 and done before within the hour.  I would not hesitate to call Burr Oak again.
Pete also had a discussion about antiques with my wife which made them both excited. : )

A new washing machine supply valve was replaced behind the wall.

I contacted RMO plumbing yesterday afternoon inquiring about the installation of a new toilet and today - not even more than 25 hours later - the new toilet is installed & working & the old one has been hauled away. They were responsive, helpful & professional. The original plan wasn't 24 hour service but we were both flexible and since they had an earlier opening, we got it done sooner.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

We are the type of people who like to ensure that area businesses are patronized, thereby retaining money in our community, so, we always contact area businesses/contractors no matter our needs or the size of the project. In this instance, and being totally fair, we want to describe our description of work we wanted to be done, how it was addressed, and our experience with this company.

Last year we needed to replace an exterior ejector/sump pump, rod, and clear exterior run-off/rainwater pipes and have a first-floor toilet replaced. We called Pittman, which is located less than a mile from us. We made an appointment after explaining our needs. They called to confirm the appointment, arrived promptly and reviewed our job. A gentleman who identified himself as a partner in their family-owned business provided us an estimate including the service charge. We had already purchased the ejector/sump pump and the Kohler toilet that we wanted to be installed and asked them to use those products/materials. However, in adding the rodding job we realized that either he was joking or simply didn't want to do the work by making the charge entirely too high - by hundreds of dollars. As for the toilet - we didn't have much of a choice since it would create a hardship not having a bathroom available for use. After finishing the job we asked why their prices were so high. The gentlemen actually laughed while suggesting that if we wanted less than quality work we could pay less.

Several weeks later, we discovered we had a clog in our upstairs bathroom drain, which stopped the vanity and the tub. We called Pittman, told them the problem and they dispatched a crew. We explained to them that we also wanted to have a new Kohler tub drain assembly installed since the original one had already been removed. They removed the clog in a matter of minutes, using an air pressure device and cleared some debris from the p-trap under the vanity. I reminded him about the tub drain assembly to which the gentleman replied that I had the wrong part(s), that it could not be installed and to call him when I actually knew what I was talking about. His manner was condescending and dismissive even as he suggested that he was willing to drop the service charge associated with the visit. I asked him to reconsider installing the device since I was certain that I had ordered the correct part(s) assembly. He declined. We paid them, and they left. I ended up installing the device myself within an hour, thereby concluding that either he didn't know what he was talking about or, once again, he simply didn't want to do the job.

Fast forward to one week ago. A property we owned required the unstopping of a tub drain. We called Pittman, set up an appointment, explained our needs, and met them the next day on the job site. The crew examined the situation but were ultimately unsuccessful after working on it for just over an hour. One of the gentlemen explained that the configuration of the pipes, trap, and drain prevented them from clearing the blockage using conventional means. He stated that he wasn't sure, but believed that the only way he could clear the pipe was to cut the wall of an adjacent bedroom, the floor and the kitchen ceiling beneath the bathroom in order to access the pipes, remove and replace them - all without guarantee of success and adding that they would not be responsible for replacing or repairing the damage done as a result of their work.

We were stunned. but accepted that the work would have to be done.
He sketched out several confusing diagrams to explain his assessment and how it could be fixed. He also included an estimated price/cost - a very high one ($1300.00 to $1500.00) for the job alone. We greenlighted the job provided that he would present us with a formal/detailed proposal. He responded that the document would be ready by that evening of the next day but he would not be able to start work until two days later. We asked how he would be able to properly convey an accurate description of the problem/solution to his co-worker without him seeing the job. He claimed it wouldn't be a problem.

We were not contacted as promised, no email or message was sent. We called Pittman's offices. They claimed not to know about the project, would search it out and call back. They did not and they still have not reached out to us.

The least they could have done is told us they did not want to do the job - for whatever reason. They are very unprofessional in that regard, even if you are a repeat customer. Not being direct and honest with a customer is not the way to go.

As an aside, we found another contractor - outside the neighborhood - who determined that the job could be done for over $500.00 dollars less and retains references/contact with contractors who assess and repair damages resulting from their work. They promptly provided a detailed assessment and estimate, to begin work almost immediately.

Welter Home Services has completed multiple projects for me, spanning several years. All have been completed efficiently with good communication and quality materials. I would highly recommend them for any repair needs.

After waking up to the smell of burning plastic and finding out our furnace was no longer working I began searching Yelp for local heating companies I could call.  I couldn't look past Armbrust.  Not only was it local to Wheaton but it had absolutely amazing reviews.  I called in the morning to set up an appointment fully expecting it would be at least a day.  Not only were they able to fit me in that day, they were able to do it mid day! I was already impressed but then they sent me an email with information about the service man making the call which included a photo and I was super impressed that they take the time to do that.  Jeff showed up right on time and even called when on his way to alert me.  He was friendly, informative and helpful while explaining the issues he found and even showed me the issues first hand.  When it came down to fixing the multiple items or researching a replacement Jeff provided me with the necessary options and information to make a decision.  He made calls to check on available warranties and requested the salesman John to stop by as well.  John came out and provided me with a great deal of information.  At no point did I feel pressured to purchase. After discussion my husband we chose to spend the money on a new furnace rather than pouring more money into the broken one. They were able to get us the one we wanted AND have it installed same week.  We only had to make it one day without heat before our new furnace would be installed. I was told David would be the person installing our new furnace and he would arrive around 730.  Just like Jeff, David called when he was on his way and arrived right on time.  He walked me through the process and provided an estimate time for completion.  Throughout the process he checked in just to report his status.  At one point he called me in to decide on the venting options.  He walked me through the different options and ultimately left it to me to decide.  When he completed the job he showed me how to change the filters and explained all the new parts which were installed.  The day he installed our new furnace was a day we had high wind advisories.  When he was packing himself up he informed me that there had been a lot of debris flying around outside.  He walked around the perimiter of the house with me and even helped me clean up the shingles that had blown off my roof! Talk about customer service. I would absolutely recommend this team to friends and family.  Keep up the good work!!!

George is extremely knowledgeable and is the reason Harlem Supply exists. George was never let go, he owned the business, sold it and stayed on to help teach the new owner the business.  It is very hard to help people, when they can't clearly tell you what is wrong.  It is because George's help is still needed that he came back.  The business was set up to serve plumbers primarily, but they are always willing to try and help non-plumbers.  I would give them 5 stars, but they just can't always have everything you need in stock, nor can they have all the personnel needed to immediately wait on every customers - no one can.

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
