Called performance pro plumbing in November to put in a new shower valve and showerhead and spout.  They were near my home.  They were all booked for December but this was great because the demo and tiling could not be done till January.  Arrived early and finished quickly to put in the valve.  Came back to install the shower head and spout after the tiling.  There price was fair.  I would hire them again if I was in need of other plumbing issues

I called to schedule a service.  When I told him what was involved, he never called back.  I was not important enough to service.

Does good work but charges a bomb for it. Initial assessment may be a cheap $29 but final check will be in thousands. Will literally loot you if you do not have enough knowledge about fair pricing. The services are not worth it.

This was the company that got called out when we went through our home warranty for the low pressure and long times to get hot water in our house. Their tech was very friendly and told us that there was a lot of sediment in our water heater, and replacing it should make our experience a lot better.

Spoiler, it got worse and we paid $600 for the privilege of worse hot water.

First they showed up with the wrong water heater. They swore up and down that the home warranty didn't follow their notes, and the home warranty swore up and down that they did the paperwork wrong. Either way, they didn't figure that out until they had removed our old hot water heater and told us we would be without hot water for a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

After 4 hours on the phone with both them and our home warranty company, they finally agreed to come back the next day and made it sound how lucky we were that they pushed back other customers to make time for us. Which wouldn't have been necessary if they had either put our old water heater back in, or had paid attention to what water heater they got before taking out the old one.

They finally came back the next day, and after installing it, the tech left in a hurry without us being able to verify anything, and also leaving garbage through our basement and driveway to boot. Over the last week, the hot water has been slower to heat up, not as hot once it's gotten hot, and the pressure not improved at all.

I can consider that they are at the mercy of what the home warranty allows them to do, but they still recommended work that they should have known wouldn't have solved our issue. It's unethical and costly to us, and has actively made our situation worse.

Highly recommend Paul the Plumber.  He has replaced a toilet and a water heater in our home, and we had the best service possible each time.  He even came as promised when there was over 3 inches of snow on the ground.  Thank you!

I needed to have a hot water heater put in.  My went out on Monday.  I called them and they told me they could put one in for me on Wednesday which was really not too bad.   Their price was excellent and the quality of their work is great.  They also were neat and cleaned up when they were done.   I definitely would recommend them  to anyone looking for a plumber and use them all the time now.

This business was contracted by my condo association and they recommended I replace my garbage disposal. They quoted $425 to replace the disposal for my 1 bedroom condo. The plumber told me it cost about $300 to install and $125 for the disposal, which is outrageous cost for an install. If you call they will give you a range of options but they did not offer any options while they were in my unit doing work. They are obviously out to make as much money off you as possible. I would recommend getting work done by a more ethical business.

I have used Forte Plumbing for the past 10+ years in two different houses.  I can't even remember how much we have spent with them.  Today, we had a hot water issue - leaking all over the basement and they told me they were too busy to help me.  When I said, I guess I will have to go elsewhere, the owner just hung up.  No recommendations; no accommodations.  I am someone who believes in loyalty especially for small local businesses.  How was I rewarded by Forte?  with a sorry we can't help you and a hang up.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

I had multiple plumbing issues and Pete and Noah were great. They gave me an honest evaluation of the problems and were upfront about the solutions and the cost of repairs.  They did a good job repairing my kitchen faucet and bathroom sink drain and supplied me with an estimate for the larger repairs.   I really appreciated that they were on-time and available right away, I highly recommend these guys - thank you!!

One of the first people to respond to me when we realized our basement was beginning to flood... despite having a system that worked, we felt that replacing the 20 year old system full of little issues would be the smart thing to do.

Had my kitchen sink back up, I did all the work in an attempt to get it unclogged myself but nope! Called Miguel at RMO, I explained it all to him and he gave me a price before he even came over, which I liked. He was courteous, on time and very professional.

The job was done quickly, and no mess. I'm sure I would've of saved a few bucks somewhere else but, it's nice you speak to someone right away, even at night, and can get it done when you need it. I would recommend!

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

Pittman Plumbing is excellent.  The entire team (Don, Ernest, Liddell, and the younger son) far exceeded my expectations. There are many adjectives that describe this company-- professional, caring, attentive, and focused. They had to remove old pipe, troubleshoot, and install new piping for my home.  They were efficient, reliable, and most importantly, they finished the job when they said they would (unlike most contractors).  They are my plumbers for life!! Nicely done.

Best All Around Fix-it Guy!

I called Kevin because paint was falling off the ceiling in my bathroom....he knew exactly what I was talking about and said it was no problem to fix!  He came out on a Monday and with all the tools and paint ready to get the job done!  A few hours later my bathroom looked like brand new!  He had his own vacuum and sucked up every bit of dust...he also wiped everything down with Windex!  My bathroom looked cleaner then before he did the work!!!!  I felt so comfortable with him in my home....I was able to leave and run errands without thinking twice about it!  He told me the price up front, was honest and I trusted him fully!  I just can't get over how clean and neat he was!  He is a young, smart and respectable man!  He even gave me tips on how to fix little things around my house myself!  I will defiantly be using Kevin again and will call him for referrals for everything...if he can't do it...he has a friend who can!  Thank you Kevin for fixing the huge eyesore that was causing me so much grief!

George is extremely knowledgeable and is the reason Harlem Supply exists. George was never let go, he owned the business, sold it and stayed on to help teach the new owner the business.  It is very hard to help people, when they can't clearly tell you what is wrong.  It is because George's help is still needed that he came back.  The business was set up to serve plumbers primarily, but they are always willing to try and help non-plumbers.  I would give them 5 stars, but they just can't always have everything you need in stock, nor can they have all the personnel needed to immediately wait on every customers - no one can.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
