Awesome service and great prices. I recently had water in the basement and didn't know why. Suspected that it was the sump pump. I called a few places and found out that it's probably cheaper and easier to purchase a bar of gold. Finally I got ahold of Shannon at performance pro. He quoted me half the price of everyone else and personally showed up to my house two hours later. You could tell he was good at what he did because he was so meticulous but at the same time he knocked out the job in no time at all. Would recommend to anyone!

Positive experience, was able to call Ray during an emergency at 11pm (I live in Mokena) he came right out fixed the problem. Very nice and didn't charge a fortune. Will  definitely  use again.

Scheduling was easy and professional, plumber arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem..work was well done and cost was a little above average. I found coupons on their website that nicely reduced the total cost.

So Far we are very satisfied with the plumbing Job that was done by Drain and Plubing services.  The plumber that came to the house was very professional and very courteous.  I would call them again if we have other plumbing problems.

I think this is my third review of Paul.  We started using his services a few years ago, and have been using and recommending him ever since.  This time he replaced our aging 50 gallon water tank with a new hi-efficiency model.  He also repositioned the gas line leading to our fireplace.  In both cases the prior installation had been done very poorly. Now it is beautiful.  

Here's a typical Paul story.  The day before he was scheduled to do the install of our new water tank, our daughter called in a panic as she had water all over her basement and didn't know who to call. I texted Paul and he immediately got back to me. He was just finishing up a job but said he'd stop by to at least check it out. In the time I expected him to be calling me back to ask for the address again (which he never does because he always gets it right), he called me to let me know he'd finished. He figured out that the water in the discharge hose outside had frozen and blocked the water which caused the motor to burn out. He replaced the sump, fixed the pipe and repositioned some other piping which had been misaligned. He didn't charge for the extras. That made us even happier customers.

Reasons to use Paul:
1. Quality work - the guy is a real pro. He knows what he's doing.  Works quickly and efficiently.  Doesn't hang around to tell you long stories.  He's always got another job waiting.
2. Quick responses.  Most everything is by text at first, and that's good.  He's always been great about getting back to us asap.  He may not be able to come that minute, but he will give you an honest and concise response.
3. Fair pricing.  He has been here 7 times and not once did I feel that he had overcharged.  He is good about explaining what something will cost and giving you alternatives.
4. Nice guy.  Friendly. Hard working. Honest. Responsive.  We continue to highly recommend Paul the (most excellent) Plumber.

Used these guys 3 times for 3 different jobs.  Every time, I compare rates with other services and this company always comes up competitive. One time they suggested I might not need a new ejector pump as other services recommended.  They came and just unclogged it for the mere visit cost instead of suckering me for a new set up.  The other times, they used the best parts (I checked online) and charged me good rates.  See other reviews on Yelp and Angie's List.  These guys are honest, fair and use dependable parts in order to keep long-term customer relations.  This is no scam and run operation.

We recently had a leak in our kitchen ceiling, coming from a bathroom upstairs.  Courtesy Plumbing was quick to respond and was able to come out that same day to give us a quote.  Jason was kind and professional and was able to identify the source of the problem.  I would recommend Courtesy Plumbing and plan to use them in the future if needs arise.

I called several plumbers on a Saturday due to a clogged sewer line. Few even called me back. Greg called right away and was over within a half hour. Greg couldn't have been nicer. Great job. Reasonable price.

I had to reach out to Forte because they were on a list of authorized servicers for my hot water heater warranty.   Other plumbers refused the job outright because of the brand, and my original installer even suggested (repeatedly) that the warranty would not be valid. The first authorized place I called answered with voicemail and never did call me back.

Forte Plumbing actually had a real live person to answer the phone, a very nice lady who took my information and arranged for someone to contact me as soon as they were available.  

Even though it was apparent he could not fit the job in on a busy Friday, Robert Forte made several calls on my behalf to determine how I could get a replacement for my hot water heater.  He spoke with the supply company and was able to give me specific instructions on how I could get the unit on my own in the meantime.

Mr. Forte wasn't actually able to do the work, and he realized this from the start.  He could have just said, Sorry, call me Monday.  But what he DID do was enable me to have another plumber handle the job because I was able to satisfy the warranty issue.  I WILL contact Forte Plumbing when I next have a need.  And I WILL recommend them to anyone that asks.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Great service!! I called the office and they were at my home in less than a half hour. The entire toilet repair was completed in less than an hour!! I love this company and all of their employees!!

One of the first people to respond to me when we realized our basement was beginning to flood... despite having a system that worked, we felt that replacing the 20 year old system full of little issues would be the smart thing to do.

This review is regarding customer service: He called me back asap regarding the problem we were having in our sink. We didn't use his service because my house was under warranty and the contracted plumber came and fixed it. In the future, we will be using Burr Oak Plumbing. Thank you for calling us back.

Needed someone to install a new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Mikey was very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell he pays attention to detail and wants the customer to be happy with his work! Extremely satisfied how it turned out.  Highly recommend.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

Missed appointments. Not willing to be flexible with customers on appt times. Received call days after appointment had been missed. Doesnt return calls or answer phone during business ours. Avoid this business.

I emailed & spoke with Kevin regarding adding an electric car charger in the garage.  He went above and beyond in explaining my options along with providing a bit of education on the topic along with discussing the pros and cons of various configuration options.  The call lasted about 15 minutes and I was left well informed of my next steps.  His quote was also in line with what others charge.

Service was competent and courteous.  The disappointment came with the bill for $290 for an hour and ten minutes and essentially $19 of materials. I suggest not asking questions because you'll pay for that as well.

Prices are outrageous, the staff I spoke with was inexperienced and lacking the knowledge, nobody available to help me. Just ridiculous

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
